Combob...? She's Okay, I Guess
"Everything was fine until she came along"
Load Full StoryIt was a nice day outside, not too hot, not too cold. There wasn’t a single cloud in the sky. But there was one, and it was a normally stormy cloud, named Aria Blaze. Aria was… well… Aria. Everyone never wanted to approach her, or make her more grumpy then she normally was.
Her sisters, Adagio and Sonata have girlfriends unlike her. Adagio was with Consense. Aria honestly didn’t know what she saw in the sapphire siren. Connie was insecure, quiet, shy. But she also didn’t know what Consense saw in Adagio that made her fall for her. Adagio was self centered, stubborn, selfish, bossy, braggy. Those two were complete opposites and yet, they still LIKED each other in… THAT way. Ugh, it was so annoying and so sickening. Aria never, ever wanted to be like those two and their lovey-dovey shit.
Then there's Sonata and Niss. Those two were… normal. They weren’t like Consense and Adagio but they were still fucking annoying. Aria wanted to plug her eardrums out at all the mentions of bananas and tacos coming from them. Why did Sonata have to save Niss from those bullies? And the part where they heard the ‘fun’ they we’re having in the bedroom was even worse. Aria couldn’t erase those noises from her brain. Those noises were from how much the two loved each other. Those noises were sickening. Even when Sonata yelled at Niss to faster, harder, was enough to make Aria throw up. Those noises will hunt her and Combob’s mind forever.
Her and Combob were not an item yet, but she was cool. She was funny, sexy, brave, strong, etc. Aria had fallen for her. It was impossible for someone like her but, she was in love.
“Aria?”
‘Her sparkly orange eyes, her dark navy blue hair, hourglass body shape…’ Aria thought as a slight smirk appeared on her face.
“Aria~”
She couldn’t help it. It was amazing for her. She couldn’t possibly tell her how she felt. ‘Wonder what she’s like in bed…’
“Aria!’
‘Considering her body shape, she’d look hot if she’d strip…’
“ARIA BLAZE!”
Aria snapped out of her thoughts as she looked around the table at the 8 eyes looked at her.
“What’s up with you?” Adagio asked.
“What do you mean?” Aria asked back, rolling her eyes.
“You looked like you were thinking of something and you had this very weird smile on your face. What’s up?”
“And why would I tell you?”
“Because I know everything while you don’t,”
‘How could Connie fall for this girl?! She’s terrible,’ Aria thought as she gave the older siren a snarl, “It’s none of your business,”
“Uh-huh. Then why were you staring at Combob?” Adagio replied smugly, pointing her thumb towards the sapphire siren, who was talking to a girl, which caught Aria’s attention. The girl was small. About… 8 inches tall? So small, that she had to stand on the table to eat her food, the PLATE was bigger than her.
She didn’t look like any girl Aria had ever seen. She looked extremely different. Blonde fur covered every inch of her body with a short, fluffy tail and chipmunk like ears. She had green eyes and she was a bit on the chubby side. Her fur on top of her head was held up into two twin pigtails. A little green dress was worn by her with her matching long, high-heeled platform shoes.
The two were sitting alone at a table together, looking pretty happy. She even saw a slight smile on Combob’s face, which she narrowed her eyes at. How did she not notice this until now? She was thinking about getting up and put that little rodent in her place until Adagio snapped her fingers in front of Aria’s face, snapping her out of her thoughts.
“Earth to Aria Blaze! Do you read me?” Adagio yelled sarcastically.
“Just leave me alone, okay? Again, this none of your business,” Aria said sternly to Adagio as the bell rang to class.
“Fine, but don’t think I’m not on to you,” Adagio said as she dumped her plate and gathered her things along with Consense, Niss and Sonata. Aria then looked down at her plate. Her food reminded untouched. After the three left, Aria looked back up from her plate to look at the two girls again. They still looked happy. She even saw Combob chuckle a bit with her. They probably didn’t know that the bell just rang by now, since they were still eating their food. Aria was about to get up and go to them again until two more girls went up to them, looking as weird as the other one.
One girl had fur cover her entire body, but it was a brown amber color instead of blonde and her tail was longer than hers. The fur on top of her head was held up into a ponytail/bun like style. She had ocean blue eyes and a skinnier body than the other girl and she was a bit taller than her too. She wore a very light pink shirt with a pink and black tie and to top it off was a pink leather jacket and a short pink skirt. She wasn’t wearing any shoes, which showed her clawed feet perfectly.
The other girl also had fur, but it was a dark brown color, her tail was a bit longer than both of them. The fur on top of her head held a unique style of a high loose bun/very short ponytail. She had violet eyes and purple glasses, which made her a bit more attractive. She was taller and skinnier than both of the girls combined. She wore a light purple shirt, a blue jean jacket and a plaid purple skirt.
Aria didn’t even bother to dump her plate as she walked over to Combob while the three creatures were leaving.
“Who were they?” Aria asked her crush, a hint of bitter in her tone.
Combob didn’t catch it as she watched the trio walk away, “The Chipettes. They’re new to this school. And they’re world wide famous,”
Aria then raised an eyebrow, “What’s the name of the one you were just talking to?”
“Eleanor Miller. She’s pretty cool, don’t you think?” Combob asked Aria, still watching The Chipettes (But mostly Eleanor) walk away.
“Yeah… Cool…” Aria replied, jealousy was clearly in her voice as she bawled her hands into fists. Again, Combob didn’t notice.
“Mock my words, Eleanor Miller, if you try to take her away from me… You will pay,”
