The Princesses Friend Pt.2

It had been two days since Twilight made her 'royal decree'. This morning he woke up and took a look around his room that he had previously put together the night before. It looked like the other rooms, but a little bigger due to a simple expansion spell. To his left you can see a book shelf filled with potion books, spell books,history and science books, and surprisingly cook books. Straight ahead of him was a swamp like pond in the middle of his room, and behind that was a door that led to the bathroom. He walked out the door that led to the hallway which was kept locked. He walked around a little bit looking a bit disheveled.

"Oh, hey there Chris." called Starlight from behind who looked confused when he didn't take notice of her."Hey, your supposed to say hi when somepony else says it to you."

"Oh, hey Starlight didn't notice you." He replied.

"Obviously. Are you feeling all right?" Starlight asked

"Yeah, I'm fine." He said putting on a false smile and acted like he was happy.

"Well Twilight called for a meeting in the map room. Since, you have a chair she thought th-" Chris gave her a stern look.

"This is just a trick to try and get me in that chair isn't it. Sorry, but I'm not going to sit in that chair. Something terrible could happen." He started to look worried.

"Okay,I get it. I was in a situation like this once." he looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Starlight continued,"I used to be a dictator who ruled with an iron hoof before twilight and her friends proved just how wrong I really was. After that I became her pupil and stayed here at the castle. One day the ponies in my village invited me to the Summer-sun celebration, but when I got there they started to put me back in charge and... and I just wasn't ready for it." Starlight started to cry.

"Um... Look I understand what you mean, but I didn't mean for you to have to relive anything you didn't want to." and he gave her a hug.

"It's okay," she said wiping off her tears,"Being able to accept whats happened is all part of forgiving yourself."

"But, If I forgave myself bad things could happen. I... I..." Chris was at a loss for words. "I guess there's nothing wrong with telling you about my 'dream'. No telling anypony else though, okay." He finished

"Okay" Starlight agreed
