"I have no idea, maybe Cadence, my brother and Flurry Heart." Twilight suggested. "But, didn't Celestia say 'a' special guest? As in one special guest." Rainbow Dash argued. "Rainbow Dash I think Twilight just misses them. I mean not that your wrong just, She hasn't seen them in a while."Fluttershy said quietly. "Well put Fluttershy." Rarity agreed. 'Does nopony else realize that he somehow knew about the dinner?' Starlight thought 'It's just weird how I mentioned seeing Luna before he teleported away. Did he go to Canterlot to see Luna or-' She lost her train of thought as the Friendship Express came to a stop,they arrived in Canterlot. The others were still going on and on about the mysterious 'special guest'. She wanted to know who it was also but, couldn't shake the thought that Chris had known about this without being told. "Umm, Starlight we're leaving now." Spike said knowing she was thinking hard about something but decided not to ask knowing that she would deny anything is bothering her. As they got off of the train they noticed Princess Luna was waiting for them, wings out. On, the other side of Canterlot Crystal Hoof and an orange pegasus with a blue, short spiked mane flew by his side. "Can't you teleport us there?" He asked annoyed flying as fast as his wings would carry him. "Flash, you know I don't have very good control over my magic. I'm not going to risk teleporting Canterlot Couture on top of the castle." Crystal Hoof replied also in an annoyed fashion. "Can't you do anything about this." Flash asked "Yeah, just brace yourself i'm going to use a spell called accelero. It will increase our speed by... a lot." Chris warned him, not remembering the exact speed increase."Are you ready?" Chris asked "Yeah sure, just hurry. We can't be late." Flash said. "Ready, set, GO!" Chris yelled and activated the spell just as they were passing the train station. The main six and Princess Luna were literally blown away because Flash had caused a sonic boom. Pinkie looked up from the pile of ponies looking furious,"THEY SMASHED MY CUPCAKES!!!" She sped off after them and caught up in no time."Oh, hi Chris wacha' doin'?" Chris looks to his left,"Pinkie? How?" Flash looked at Pinkie,"Chris did you 'accidentally' use your spell on her too?" Chris looked at him annoyed. They were approaching the castle fast. Not even heading towards a door. Pinkie spoke,"You know you're going to crash into that wall right?". "Did she just-" Flash was cut off by Chris. "Don't worry is anypony looking towards us." Chris asked "Ummm, no why" Flash asked checking his surroundings. "Head straight towards that wall. The one right in front of us." Flash winced as they approached the wall. Then it rippled as they passed through it, except for Pinkie who did crash into the wall. They were in the Dinning room. Princess Luna and the main six enter the dinning room."Oh, I see you are not late Crystal Hoof and Flash Sentry. Taking her seat which was across the table from Celestia's which was empty. "Princess Luna where's Princess Celestia?" Twilight asked looking puzzled. "My sister will not be able to join us this evening. She had a last minute errand to run and it is taking longer than expected. But do not fret I'm sure my sister will arrive tonight." Luna said with a straight face. The main six sat next to each other on one side of the table, Twilight sat next to Princess Luna. Crystal Hoof and Flash Sentry sat next to each other on the other side of the table, Crystal Hoof also sat next Princess Luna. "Crystal Hoof, I have been meaning to ask, what has caused such an injury to your side?" Princess Luna asked. "Oh, that just a Timber wolf." Chris replied as the food was coming out."Why didn't you just ask me back at Twilight's castle?" He asked. Trying to avoid the question Princess Luna introduces the 'special guest'. "I am sure you all know that there is a special guest dinning with us tonight. I will now introduce Flash Sentry." Twilight broke all conversation she was in remembering the boy she had met in the human world. Twilight looks over a Chris and then realizes that the Equestrian Flash Sentry was sitting next to him for the first time and stared until Pinkie waved her hoof in front of Twilight's face. "You-hoo Twilight are you there?" Twilight looked over at her friends who were staring at her knowing she had a crush on Flash. Rarity who was on her left spoke,"Twilight you like him don't you?" she asked "What, me no. I was just expecting a different special guest." Twilight said half true as her whole face turned red. After that a creature of mixed parts appeared a foot above the table, He was a draconequus,"Hello Princess Luna having dinner are we? Mind if I sit?" The draconequus asked "It would be much better than you floating above the table Discord." Princess Luna replied. Discord then 'created' a space between Applejack and Fluttershy. "Oh, hello Crystal Hoof." Discord said with a grin. "You know each other?" Twilight asks. "Well I know him, but he doesn't know me."Discord replies. "How do you know me exactly?" Chris asks. "Well It's not everyday that somepony can travel through dimensions." He said with the same grin. Everypony except for Flash and Princess Luna looked completely shocked at this, staring at Chris who looked a little nervous with a fake smile. "Crystal Hoof can I pleases have a word with you?" Princess Luna asked also looking a little nervous. Chris followed Princess Luna out of the Dinner Hall. "I thought you told them about your special talent?" Princess Luna asked in a shushed fury looking at his cutie mark. He covered it with his tail. "O-Okay s-so maybe I lied when I told you I told them what you told me to tell them." He said looking down. Princess Luna took a minute to process what she had just heard and forgot her anger, then looked at Chris's expression and spoke."You don't have to tell them everything right now, only when you're ready."She said in a calming voice and they re-entered the dinning room and took their seats. Everypony continued their dinner and carried on in their own conversations except for Chris. Finally the dinner was over and everypony went to their rooms. Flash's was right down the hall, the main six and Starlight went to Twilight's old tower for a sleep over, and Chris went to his old tower. Meanwhile, at the Chrystal Empire,"Thanks for doing this Sunburst I'll be back in a couple days." said a White Stallion Unicorn with a blue mane and tail before leaving Author's Note My first reference is complete guess where it came from. Where's Spike at? //-------------------------------------------------------// CH.4 The Night Walk //-------------------------------------------------------// CH.4 The Night Walk Chris entered his tower and looked around there was no dust collected up any where do to a simple spell. It was two story with a stair case leading up the curved wall. There were work stations everywhere on the first story, even on the walls and roof, most of which had magical artifacts. The second story only held a bed and a telescope out the open window. "You know if I'm back in Equestria might as well continue my studies." Chris said to himself then teleported everything on the first floor away."Know what I'm not tired." He walks out the door and to his surprise he finds a pink alicorn with bubblegum pink, purple and pale yellow mane and tail. They stood in place eyes locked,"Hi, nice to see you again." She said softly smiling. "Cadance? H-Hi." Chris was at a total loss for words. "Celestia wanted my visit to be a surprise, but I couldn't not let you know I was here." Cadence said. Chris stood there speechless."Can't sleep can you?" Cadence said trying to get him to talk."Don't stay out too late okay." "No promises." Chris replied. "Wouldn't be the same if you did." Cadence said before leaving. Chris walked down the stairs and at the very bottom he saw Twilight. "Hi Chris what are you doing awake?" Twilight asked. "Going for a walk."He answered. "Good I need to ask you some questions." Twilight said grabbing a quill and a long piece of paper out of her saddlebag. Chris looked looked at this confused."Question one, What is your special talent?"Twilight asked. Chris answered,"Being able to travel through different dimensions." Twilight started writing. As they headed towards the royal courtyard. "Question two, Pinkie said that you and Flash went through a wall that she crashed into. What happened?" Twilight asked looking confused. "I set up certain spaces that can only be entered through the use of my magic." Chris answered then continued,"Is this a test?" "What, no. That would be ridiculous. Question three, Where did you get your amulet from." Twilight looked at the amulet. "From a friend," Chris answered. "This feels like a test." Chris replied snickering. "It's not a test." Twilight replied looking confused. "Did I pass?" Chris said trying not to laugh. "How can you pass? This- Why are you laughing." Twilight asked. "I got bored so I decided to make a joke, also I'm assuming that was question four." Chris said, Twilight blushed a little. "So, you like making jokes huh?"Twilight asked. "Yes, and I assume that's question five?" Chris answer, Twilight wasn't amused. "Really, your still going?" Twilight asked. "Well, you're making it too easy for me. Just so you know, that was question six."Chris said. Twilight yawned," It's starting to get really late. I think I'm gonna head back." Twilight said sleepily. "Why, night is the most beautiful time of all. Always the perfect temperature and hear that?" Chris asked putting his hoof up to his ear. Twilight listened then said,"No?" looking confused. "Exactly, quiet that makes it even better." Chris said happily. "I never thought about that way." Twilight said taking in the newfound beauty of the night world. "Yeah, and the stars are just fascinating. I would stare at them for as long as I could." Chris said looking towards the sky. "So, you like astronomy?" Twilight asked. "Yeah, but I can only find two constellations, the big and little dippers. Also that was question seven." Chris said staring at the sky. "Good thing I'm here. I can show you where all of them are." Twilight said with a smile,"Now look right above that tree that's Orion's Belt." She pointed towards a three star constellation. "Where's Orion at?"Chris asked looking around the night sky. "Take a couple steps backwards."Twilight whispered in his ear. Chris stepped back as suggested, then saw the stars that shaped a pony, he then summoned his saddlebag and set it on the ground opened,""Twilight would you mind holding me?" He asked. "Huh?" Twilight watched as Chris climbed into his saddle bag head first. Twilight then grabs a hold of Chris's tail with her mouth. "Oh, hey Twily." a white stallion unicorn with a blue mane and tail calls. Apparently the voice sounded familiar as Twilight lets go of Chris's tail, causing him to fall completely into the saddlebag. Twilight ran up and gave him a hug,"Shining, what are you doing here? Where's Cadence and Flurry Heart at?" Then Twilight realized that she dropped Chris into his saddlebag, She then goes back over to the saddlebag and looks inside,"Are you okay?" She yells down to Chris who was standing on a pile of random objects. "Yeah, good news and bad news. Good news, I found my journal. Bad news, I'm stuck, also that was question eight." Chris replies. Twilight tries to levitate him out of the bag, but for some reason it failed,"Why won't my magic work?" twilight yells into the bag looking confused and keeps trying to use her magic to get Chris out. "I put a spell on it to where you can't use magic on anything inside of my saddlebag to an extent." Chris replied,"Also that was question nine." Twilight facehoofed at Chris's reply, then she figured it out,"Shining can you come help me really quick." Twilight asked the stallion. "Sure Twily, what do you need?" Shining Armor asked. "I need you to hold on to my tail so I can get my friend out of his saddlebag." Twilight said to Shining who was taking a look inside the saddlebag,"Just do it okay." "Sure." Shining accepted slowly looking away from the saddlebag. Slowly Twilight climbed in head first with Shining Armor holding on to her tail. "Alright, I think I can reach him now." Twilight said to Shining Armor with her hooves reached out. Chris took hold of her hooves as fast as he could, then Shining Armor pulled them both out as fast as he could. "I think that's enough for one night." Twilight said then they all headed back to their rooms. Author's Note Please comment. //-------------------------------------------------------// CH. 5 Uninvited Guest //-------------------------------------------------------// CH. 5 Uninvited Guest Chris woke up as fresh as anypony could be the next morning still snickering at the jokes he made the night before, then it dawned on him he forgot to take note of where Orion was. He entered the castle and walked down the main hall for a little while trying to find the Dining room, only to enter the throne room where Celestia and Luna were talking,"Oh, good morning." Chris said not knowing how he ended up in the throne room. "Good you're awake, my sister has hurt her wing and won't admit it is bothering her." Princess Luna is quick to say. "There is nothing wrong with my wing. And since there is nothing wrong with it, it cannot be bothering me." Princess Celestia says to the both of them. "Then why not join me up here?" Princess Luna said taking off towards the tall domed roof. Celestia started to take off then fell to the ground like a stone."As I said, there is something wrong with your wing. Sister I do not say this to irritate you, I say this because I love you. Just admit there is something wrong so we can get help for your wing." Princess Luna said returning to the ground approaching her sister and helping her off the ground. "Mind if I take a look at it?" Chris asked Princess Celestia. "No, I wouldn't mind at all." Celestia replied returning to her throne, Chris followed. Chris decided to stretch out Celestia's left wing as she winced at the slight pain."Okay this might hurt, well a lot for a little bit. It's dislocated, all I have to do is shove it back in. Alright on five, one, two, three!" He said as he shoved her wing back into it's socket, Celestia screamed so loud that the main six, Princess Cadence, Starlight, Spike, Flash, and Shining Armor all came running into the room as fast as they could. "I thought you were counting to five." Celestia said moving her wing neither of them aware of The other ponies in the room. "It hurts worse when you're expecting it to come, that's why I said five but only did three." Chris explained "What in the name of Celestia is going on in here?" Twilight asked. "Crystal Hoof was just fixing a little problem." Princess Luna said catching sight of the new visitor,"Shining Armor, I was not informed you would be coming." Princess Luna said as everypony looked towards Shining Armor. "Well, something just seemed fishy when Celestia came for Cadence last night, I just wanted to make sure everything was okay." Shining Armor said trying to avoid eye contact with his wife, Princess Cadence, who looked furious. "So, where's Flurry Heart at?" Cadence asked demanding an answer, who still looked furious. "Oh, you know, with Sunburst." Shining said chuckling nervously,"You're not happy with me are you?" Shining was quick to ask. "I'm hungry I'm going to go make hey-cakes." Chris said making a quick head count, counting 13 ponies, not including himself.After breakfast everypony said their goodbyes and they each returned to their homes. This morning he woke up and took a look around his room that he had previously put together the night before. It looked like the other rooms, but a little bigger due to a simple expansion spell. To his left you can see a book shelf filled with potion books, spell books,history and science books, and surprisingly cook books. Straight ahead of him was a swamp like pond in the middle of his room, and behind that was a door that led to the bathroom. He walked out the door that led to the hallway which was kept locked. He walked around a little bit looking a bit disheveled. "Oh, hey there Chris." called Starlight from behind who looked confused when he didn't take notice of her."Hey, your supposed to say hi when somepony else says it to you." "Oh, hey Starlight didn't notice you." He replied. "Obviously. Are you feeling all right?" Starlight asked "Yeah, I'm fine." He said putting on a false smile and acted like he was happy. "Well Twilight called for a meeting in the map room. Since, you have a chair she thought th-" Chris gave her a stern look. "This is just a trick to try and get me in that chair isn't it. Sorry, but I'm not going to sit in that chair. Something terrible could happen." He started to look worried. "Okay,I get it. I was in a situation like this once." he looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Starlight continued,"I used to be a dictator who ruled with an iron hoof before twilight and her friends proved just how wrong I really was. After that I became her pupil and stayed here at the castle. One day the ponies in my village invited me to the Summer-sun celebration, but when I got there they started to put me back in charge and... and I just wasn't ready for it." Starlight started to cry. "Um... Look I understand what you mean, but I didn't mean for you to have to relive anything you didn't want to." and he gave her a hug. "It's okay," she said wiping off her tears,"Being able to accept whats happened is all part of forgiving yourself." "But, If I forgave myself bad things could happen. I... I..." Chris was at a loss for words. "I guess there's nothing wrong with telling you about my 'dream'. No telling anypony else though, okay." He finished "Okay" Starlight agreed //-------------------------------------------------------// CH.2 Go Away //-------------------------------------------------------// CH.2 Go Away "It was a dream, or nightmare, or... I don't even know." Crystal Hoof said as he hung his head, sighed, and continued,"It was at a wedding, I think, and I was facing the bride. But, I couldn't tell who she was the veil was covering her face, she looked like a unicorn. Then, everything was blown away like sand. I heard maniacal laughter, and there appeared two giant yellow eyes staring at me, then I wake up. "If there are dreams bothering you, you should probably consult Luna." Starlight said looking at him. "NO!" he yelled and used teleportation to get away with a crack, but accidentally took some of the flower vases with him. When he appeared in his room he notices the vases just in time to catch them with his magic and set them down. His mane and tail started to glow and sparks flew, then as quickly as the anger had come he settled down. "Hey, Starlight where's Chris at?" Twilight asked,"I heard yelling." "He... I don't know." Starlight said trying to keep his secret without looking like it. "Well, this is extremely important. Celestia is having a dinner tonight and wants all of us to be there. She really made that clear. Just look at the scroll." Twilight said showing Starlight the scroll. "Wow, guess you can't get anymore clear than that." Looking at the scroll trying not to laugh. "Yeah so-" Twilight was interrupted by Spike. "Hey, Twilight this came when you were gone." Spike said handing the scroll over to Twilight who took the scroll with her magic and opened it. Dear Twilight Sparkle, Sir Crystal Hoof has already arrived at Canterlot. He, Luna, a special guest, and I are graciously awaiting for you and your friends to arrive.
