//-------------------------------------------------------// Unloved -by Ichtudirweh- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Introduction //-------------------------------------------------------// Introduction “Wake up, Ryan!” Fluttershy yelled with panic in her voice. "Ugh...Fluttershy, what is it?" I said while turning my head to her direction. My eyes were grogey from such an early wake up call. Before I begin my dark tale, let me introduce myself so it doesnt sound like I'm trying to play the superhero card to everyone. I’ve been living in Equestria for quite some time now. Ever since that jaw dropping moment, since that portal opened up indiscretely in my closet, I just knew I had to move out of this world so I could find some inner peace for within myself. I was a bit of an angry soul myself back on earth, as thoughout my life I looked for something I could never have. That something was called love. However, dont think as me being anti-social and such. I talked and enjoyed being around new faces, family and friends, but I just couldnt find any personal connections with anyone here on earth. I was personally screwed over in the end for being the honest and nice guy to everyone. I continued on to be honest and outgoing even if it killed me. I knew deep down inside it was the right thing to do. So, yeah, I was a bit of a loner from time to time. Even though I was fit and tall, where girls would normally go out of their way to get my attention(while I completely ignored them since I though it was a stupid fucking head game in the end)....I had a soft spot for nature. I was closer to animals than most humans were, going out of my way to help an animal in need. I had a deep appreciation for nature, since it was true that birds built nests before they laid their eggs, while most human women mindlessly had kids without thinking about their future. I knew however all human women wern't like that, but for after so long I just stopped caring and lived the single's life. It wasn't so bad looking back, since I had more freedoms than most couple's did. I just...wanted to move away from it all and start all over again. That's the only thing I've ever asked for in life. So, I moved into Equestria hoping to find peace. It had so many improvements over the place humans called Earth, where humans are the only species to live by a paper dollar bill. You can't eat or drink a dollar bill, so why would you revolve your life around such a useless commodity? I knew that this wasnt the reason why as a human race, why we were placed here by a divine unknown power. I knew deep down inside that humans were supposted to be peaceful at heart, and to live by good morals. No one listened to my outcry as everyone around me wanted to chose the path of self destruction in some way or form. I knew I had to get out of here somehow, where some humans agreed with my views. That's when my prayers were answered as a portal opened up in my closet. I told my father about this unusal occurance, as he looked at me like I had two heads. I showed him the portal as he looked with his jaw dropped. He couldn’t agree with me more, and wanted to tag along from the improvement of stress of his everyday struggle of survival. Financial dept, house foreclosures, starvation, and green dollar bills were non factors in this new realm. Not to metion that anyone living here could pursue their dreams in life without worrying about any negativity to try to bring you down. I've always wanted to be a personal trainer, and to own my very own gym...but instead, I worked in a shithole job. I hated my job here and so did my father, so Equestria is what we both needed. I’ll get into more details how I’ve adapted to live here in some other writing. However, I found a personal connection within the residence of ponyville with someone completely non-human. I'm the kind of guy who wants a girl who was down to Earth, close to nature, humble, kind hearted, and completely honest who wouldnt fuck me over for child support with superficial love. You already probably know who I'm talking about. Yep, it was Fluttershy. At first, Fluttershy didn't know what to think of me being one of the first humans to enter Equestria. After I introduced myself to everyone around town, Fluttershy was really quiet and shy to herself. I went out of my way to talk to her and such, telling her stories how I rescued a pair of baby rabbits(which is a true story, as I was a pretty honest guy back on earth). I told her how my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Monte, as the both of us we're like human brothers together. She was moved as I almost broke down in tears in front of her, as I explained how I lost that close friend due to thyroid cancer back in 2011. I told her that dog will ever remain alive in my memories to me in the end. Fluttershy and I became close as we got to know each other better. We shared many common interests while still retaining our personalities. I was...more of a dominant and a leader type to her. She was...more submissive and generally taged along with most of the things I did. Since i had nowhere to live in Equestria, I decided to move into her cottage with permission from Celestia. Things were really working out well so far. I’d help her tend to most of her animals. I found an abandoned pack wolf pups that we both raised together. From time to time, I would leave a piece of red meat out for them, as the wolf pack would fight among themselves for my attention. Fluttershy would do most of the things an ordinary housewife would do. Cook, clean, you name it. I made myself into something when I've moved into Equestria, I worked at a gym as my full time job. She would tag along with me at the gym,as I worked my dream job as a personal trainer for most of the ponies and humans that moved into here. I became quick friends with Rainbow Dash, as she was an Athlete at heart. Rainbow dash and I would always workout together for almost every day of the year. She’d help me spot for benching, and I would show her new techniques for endurance and strength training. I would always kid around with her as she would show off to me. I've always enjoyed being around being Pinkie Pie, as she was a complete goof ball. Pinkie Pie worked at the juice bar at the local gym, and made fantastic after workout shakes for all of us. I told her not to load up my protein shakes with sugar, as I hated processed sugar to begin with. Im a health nut, so anything with high sugar or fat content was way out of my league. She would bounce around behind the counter as she gathered Whey protein, creatine, and other stuff the body craves after an intense workout. Applejack was always friendly toward me when I've first moved into Equestria. Since I worked at Apple Acre farm as a part time job for some extra side spending bits, I taugh her new techniques on leg oriented workouts. She could buck trees harder than she could ever image in her lifetime. As a result, I was always invited to their farm for supper as they gained my trust overtime. Twilight and Rarity weren’t really focused on working out, so I couldn't really help them out much when it came to exercising. They would constantly ramble and babble to each other on the treadmills. Twilight would read to herself on the bike machines and would hog the magazine rack. Rarity would sit in the sauna or try to capture some guy’s attention in the middle of his workout(which was sometimes me, as I thought to myself how funny her insecurity of being single was).I went along with it and would flirt with her time to time, as Fluttershy would have a look of impatience toward Rarity, as she would suck up all the attention from me. I'd later explain to Fluttershy to not take it so serious, as she giggled to herself. She got the message that Rarity wanted her own personal strong man. I would help Rarity find that lucky soul one day.... Spike constantly asked me for strength training advice to impress Rarity. He was muscularly underdeveloped. I told him to wait a few years. I couldn't see any personal relation going on between those two, so I didnt bother with the little purple dragon when it came to relationship advice. But...I couldn't see him suffer the same fate I did, when it came from rejection from another female. I've always told him Sweet Belle was always up for grabs, since it made sence they were closer in age. So life was generally going pretty well here. Only selected humans could pass though the portal into Equestria. An average everyday idiot that could enter this realm would ruin the bond between man and pony, as only the pure hearted could pass though. .... All of that was going to change today, however, since my recollection of memories of our journey together are going to twist into a series of beyond unfortinate events. I promise you that I will recount all of the vivid memories as best as possible from that unfaithful day. The following events changed everything in our lives, and ultimately bonded us closer together as a whole. This is my story. This is...Unloved. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Disappearance //-------------------------------------------------------// The Disappearance “Oh sweet Celestia, my friends are gone...Ryan! I….I just don’t know what to do!” I’ve never heard Fluttershy with so much panic in her voice before. I did everything in my power to get her to calm down. “Slow down there, how could they just be...gone Fluttershy? We practically see them at the gym everyday now.” “I...went over to Raritys house, and I saw her parents with Sweet Belle with looks of concern on their faces at the front door. I asked them If Rarity was available to go to the spa, and they said she was missing!" “And….And Big Mac asked if I saw Applejack anywere....” “Celestia and Spike asked why there were no letters from Twilight lately,and….and...Oh dear!” She dragged her eyelids under with her hooves in distress. “Ok Flutters...calm down...we’ll go into town and see what we can find out about the disappearance of your friends." Damn it, I was not in the mood for this. So we traveled together up to the town meeting hall in Ponyville. Mayor mare was about to speak at the hall within a few minutes opon her arrival. When we finally took our seats within the crowd of humans and ponies, Mayor mare was at the main speaking booth with a tone of deep concern. She gave her speech to the crowd. “Citizens of Ponyville, a mysterious disappearance befounds us today. Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie are nowhere to be seen. Reports from one of Celestia's royal guards has spotted...Applejacks hat, located near the Everfree forest. Resources say that they may have ventured off into the forest, but we may not be clear.” “In the Everfree forest? Oh…my.” Fluttershy whispered into my ear as the crowd grumbled behind us. Great, the Everfree forest? I thought to myself. No pony or human ever dares to travel into the forest, unless they are visiting Zecona for an elixir of some sort. Some humans may hunt for Cockatrice, since they were considered pest in Ponyville. It was socially accepted to let some trusted humans to bring firearms into Equestria for recreation and hunting. As long as they were not used to harm any pony or human for violent intentions, Celestia socially accepted it. “So I gather you all up today, to assemble a search party. To venture into the Everfree forest to find the missing 5, and to report any evidence back to us reguarding their disappearance. A group of human and pony volunteers have already decided to participate in the search for the missing 5. The search will launch at one o’clock today....and now a few words from Celestia.” Mayor mare walks off stage, now enters Celestia to the speaking booth. “My friends of Equestria, I will be sending a few of my personal royal guards of my own in search for the girls. May I wish you of the bottom of my heart, the best of luck to all to all of you searching. This is not likely for the girls to be missing like this. You are all dismissed. Thank you." There was a lot of grumbling after the closing speech, as people and ponies talked among themselves. Fluttershy looked up at me while we exited the building. “Do you think my friends...are ok...Ryan?” Fluttershy asked me in nervousness. Here comes the knight in shining armor every girl fantasizes about. I had to same something to her to relieve some attention. “Personally, Fluttershy, I hope so. We will look for ourselves around the area, where Applejacks hat was last seen. I promise to you we’ll find them. I sure hope the hell there isn’t a human behind their disappearance.Celestia might banish humans from from this realm...if that’s the case. However, let’s think positive here and find your friends, Alright?” Fluttershy gulped and sighed ”Oh...Alright.” //-------------------------------------------------------// The Search within a Dark Place //-------------------------------------------------------// The Search within a Dark Place We traveled back to Fluttershy's cottage. I went into her basement where my workbench and gun locker was contained. I was always a firearm enthusiast and loved going to the range as my hobby. I've had this interest ever since I was 14. I got extremely familiar with all kinds of firearms, from going to gun shows and just by talking to a few firearm store owners. I knew how to field strip an Ar-15 and reassemble it in no time. I was surprised how well she took on this hobby, since I got her used to my collection. I showed her all the proper stances and basics of firearm safety, as she was a quick learner. You think that someone with a heart of kindness wouldn't take lightly to firearms, but she actually enjoyed going to the range from time to time. That was one unique characteristic about her, she loved trying new things once she opened up to you. I...have another confession to make, I was a prepper. I knew deep down inside that America's financial situation was going to escalate into chaos, with possible rioting and looters running down the street. I wanted to be a survivor, not a victim to some idiot who didn't see the warning signs. So, I gathered my own funds to spend on a few of my own firearms. Thankfully, I will never see that day if everything went to shit in America, as I now lived in security in Equestria. That's one major worry I didn't have to be consumed by. I gathered my personal gear back from Earth to help find Fluttershy her missing friends. She quickly fed all of her animals, told Angel to look after her pets, made lunch for the both of us, and gathered up all of her equiptment for searching. She barely ate anything...due to her worry that something terrible happened to her friends.I saw the warning signs of a dangerous situation, and this one was definitely screaming it's name right into my face. I preplanned and rethough what I needed to bring along with us. We both had no idea what we would be facing in the near future, and looking back...I wish I brought along more firepower for both of us.... I overlooked the possiblities and brought light gear with me, thinking that this was going to be a quick search for the missing girls. My firearms consisted of a Glock 19 with 4 preloaded mags, my tactical vest with holster and pouches, and a MSAR STG-556 rifle(a personal favorite) with five 30 round translucent amber magazines. The things I carried were a backpack with glowsticks (for exploring new territory), food ration bars (in case we couldn't find food), LED headlights (you can wear around your head with your hands free), a firestriker, some hygine and clothing gear, a small swiss army knife, bandages, and a small personal medkit. I also carried a kukri machete for any brush we might run into, and for combat purposes in case things got ugly. Fluttershy brought along with her some premade food, a lantern, and her backpack made for ponies with her trademark butterflies on both sides. We traveled with the search party from the town hall from here on there. Celestia's royal guards tagged along to the outside of Everfree forest where we all regrouped. Some other of the humans in our party were armed with the firearms they brought back from Earth. Ar-15’s, Ak’s, and their prefered sidearms that they used for EDC(every day carry). The humans distributed walkie talkies to all of us, and told us to randevú within approxmately 3 hours from the time of the search. We all split up in groups of two(one human to one pony within a search party). We walked into the dark forest. Fluttershy was unconfortable within the enviroment we were in. I couldn’t really blame her, as this place was miserable and gloomy looking. Applejack’s hat was last seen outside of a trail leading into the Everfree forest. Why would Applejack leave her trustworthy hat behind? This was a question that plagued both of our minds. Fluttershy lit her lantern as I switched on my led headlight, keeping my rifle close at bay. We ventured near the area were Applejacks hat was last spotted, while keeping Fluttershy close for confort. Fluttershy pointed out...hoof prints imprinted in the soft ground near the spot of Applejack's hat. Her trademark hat was still laying on the ground. Fluttershy placed in her backpack. I told her to stop so that we could alert the other parties to our findings. I radio’ed on my walkie talkie back to the search parties “We have possible hoofprints near the coordinates of Applejack's hat, We are going to investigate the trail of hoofprints, Over." “Roger that.” Said one of the humans in respond to my transmission. “Alright, let’s see where this trail takes us to...." There goes Fluttershy with her rants of fear again. She normally isn't like this around when I'm around. She's more assertive when she's in my presense. I must give her some motivation when I'm around her, but this time...it wasn't working. “Oh dear....I hope Applejack is safe.” Fluttershy said in concern. The trail of hooves led us to a clear path of foilage within the forest. What was interesting about this path, was the dying plant life located on parallel sides of the hoof trail. However, the plant living around the trail flourished with life. In this strait trail....was the wretch of something dreadful in the atmosphere. Fluttershy looked up to me and said “I’m getting really bad vibes from this trail...maybe we should regroup with the party." I heard an unknown whispering...coming from within the trail that blocked out Fluttershy's voice as she said this to me. She couldn’t hear it...but I could. “Did you...just hear a whispering noise just now?” Fluttershy was thrown off by my question. She said with a curious look in response to me. “Um...no?” As we continued on the trail, the whispering became louder. “Damn! what the hell is that noise?” “I don’t hear anything dear.” Fluttershy remarked. As we continued on the path of Applejack's hooftrail, we found another clue. Applejack's tail ribbon was on the side of the hoof trail. Fluttershy picked it up with her hoof and placed in her bag, along the side of her hat. I radio’ed back to the search parties “We found Applejack's tail ribbon at these coordinates, Over”. “....I…..Sorr….Can…ou…re...that…ease?” The transmission was breaking up badly from the other side. It was distorted and inaudiable to us. “Hello? Can you hear me? Please respond, over.” I said loudly into the talkie. “I…..ou…..king…p..... " “Look!” said Fluttershy pointing with her hoof. I looked up after being frustrated with the talkie. What stood before us was, what looked like...an old abandoned opening to an underground cement bunker. A cement underground bunker? What the hell? Was a human preparing for nuclear armageddon in Equestria? The hoof prints led directly into the opening of this place. “Great, your telling me that Applejack wondered off into this?” I said while looking at Fluttershy. “I….I don’t know why she would do such a thing.” Fluttershy said in disbelief. “I think...we should wait for the group to find us." I sighed to her. There was no way in hell that the group was going to find us, as it was getting close to nightfall. We had better luck moving on that trying to regroup with the other search parties.I had to respond something that made sense to her to ease her mind. “Well…look. I’ll investigate the entryway of this place and see if I can find any more clues. I want you to stay...right behind me Flutters. Keep an eye out for the group." I told her while I took assertive command of the situation. “Ahhh…Ok.” Fluttershy said in submission. As I pointed my LED headlight into the dark gaping hole, I could barely see a beam of light within 10 feet in front of me.... //-------------------------------------------------------// The Descent into the Mind of Evil //-------------------------------------------------------// The Descent into the Mind of Evil With Fluttershy behind my back, we both cautiously entered the doorway. Looking back now, I've wished I’d listen to Fluttershy’s suggestion. She trailed slowly behind me. When we were in the doorways landing, a loud bang occured behind us. Fluttershy shrieked and grabbed me tightly. I pointed my headlight toward the entrance, and saw there was a solid rock wall that closed right behind us. “Shit, there’s no way bypassing this.” I said while I ran my hand against the stone wall. The only light source illuminating within the pitch black room was from my headlight and Fluttershy’s lantern, which was dropped sideways from her shrieking. “I’m…..I’m scared Ryan”. Fluttershy said to me while shaking. “I know, but if there’s any chance of saving your friends, we’d better move on." I said to her, trying to ease the surprise. So, I looked around at our new surroundings. There was a dark flight of stairs descending downwards from where we stood on the landing. I reached into my backpack and tore open a package of one of the glow sticks. “Um, what’s that?” Fluttershy said looking up at the glow stick in curiousity. “Oh this? This is a glow stick. They had a multitude of purposes served back on Earth, but are used mainly for lighting. Since my headlight beam only shines 10 feet in front of us, I’m gonna break one of these and throw it down there. That way, we can have a good idea of what we can see in front of us.” “Um...that’s a good idea.” Fluttershy remarked with some hope in her voice. I broke the inner glass tube inside the glowstick and gave it a good shook, mixing the chemical reaction. I tossed the stick down the flight of stairs, and glimpsed how far down it was from where we stood. There was another landing at the bottom of the stairs. “We better go down now.” I said. Fluttershy grasped a piece of Velcro hanging from my backpack as we descended downward. When we reached the bottom of the landing, I picked up the glowstick. Again, we were faced with another flight of stairs leading downwards, to the left of us was another downstairs landing. I threw the stick yet again as it reached another landing. This repeated on for another 3 stair flights, until I noticed something odd on the walls on each landing. There was a mirror about my height facing directly at us on the wall. It was musty and caked with grime from aging. I looked at myself in the mirror. Fluttershy quickly glanced at the mirror and we continued on downwards. Another landing faced us as we descended yet again, with another grimy mirror. Something was different...about this mirror... When I took a good look at this mirror, I saw wrinkles on my face that were previosly not there from before. Fluttershy took a look, and saw that she had stands of grey lining in her mane and aging marks under her eyes. “Ryan, what's wrong with these mirrors?” Fluttershy said while staring into the mirror. “I really have no idea...We have to carry on.” I looked at Fluttershy from below me, and she glanced up, just to reassure that we weren’t rapidly deteriorating from age. We descended yet again, another flight of steps, with another mirror. My face looked bony and pale, and I had strands of white hair located on my head. Fluttershy had deep wrinkles, and her eyes were sagging deep within the back of her skull. “I don’t want to look at these mirrors anymore....Let's hurry up and move along.” She said in panic. “Sure thing, this is too bizarre to comprehend." I said back to her. The mirror images became more horrifying as we progressed downwards. My face was rotting with bits of missing flesh from my skull, and Fluttershy was missing strands of hair and looked a lot worse. She refused to look at the mirrors as we progressed downwards. I couldn’t help but look at all of the mirrors as we went on. Around the 13th flight of stairs, I saw an image of my skull with Fluttershy’s sitting next to mine. She stood up and covered her eyes with her hooves in fear of the image. We hit dead end after the 13th floor...as we saw a dark entryway into a room. We walked directly into a dark cell. Inside the cell, there was an old rusted metallic door in front of us. A wall closed behind us as we came closer to the door. Fluttershy jumped as I too was startled. “Shit...Stay close to me.” I told her. Fluttershy was violently shaking in fear. There was a dim metallic looking candle sitting on the floor from within a cell. It barely lit up the room, as I took a good look around. There was a rusty metal bed frame with a rotted mattrice complete with covers. A wooden bucket with stagnant water was sitting in a corner. Two black vents paralleled from each other on both sides of the walls. I looked back at the wall that closed behind us. It had an golden insignia, which resembled a cross connected to an upside down trident. I’ve never seen anything like it before. “Oh Celestia..what’s going to happen to us?” Fluttershy wimpered in panic. “I...don’t know Flutters, but we’re going to get out of here...even if it kills me.” I spoke too soon. We heard loud, echoing footsteps bellowing toward our cell as I readied my rifle... //-------------------------------------------------------// You can run, but you can't die //-------------------------------------------------------// You can run, but you can't die My rifle was pointed at the door of the footsteps. I aligned the backup iron sights on top of the carrying handle of the MSAR rifle. Fluttershy grabbed my backpack behind me. She was shaking even more now. I too was shaking, with my sights swaying all over the place. The door slowly opened. I got a glimpse of what looked like leather boots and a blood stained apron. Before I had the chance to squeeze the trigger, a blinding white light overtook us....I passed out from the incident. God only knows how long I was out for... When I finally reached a state of consciousness, I found myself on a metal bed. It was clearly used for hospital operations. I tried to get myself up on my own, but collapsed from severe pain back onto the operating table. My eyes were bloodshot, my clothes bloodied, my gear was gone, and it felt like something was...missing...from my body that I’ve never felt before on my right backside. There was a stream of encrusted blood descending from my nose and ears, and my heart was constantly pumping blood though open cuts throughout my body. I knew I was close to death. Fluttershy was on the opposite side of the room from me, in shackles and chains mounted onto a wall. She only had minor cuts and bruises from being dragged, but thank god she was in good health. She gained consciousness and saw my condition. “OH SWEET CELESTIA!” she screamed at the top of her lungs. The shackles and chains where loose from rusting conditions within the room. With little effort, she broke herself free from the wall. A look of sadness overcame her, as her eyes filled with watery tears as she tried to help me up. My vision was blurry. My head was swaying from the lack of blood in my body, but I could still make out details as I regained my vision. I barely stood on my two feet with Fluttershy’s arm supporting me. She had incredible balance as she could walk with her two back hooves with ease. She was about as tall as me when she stood up on her hind legs. With the help of her balance and support, I stumbled on my own two feet while clutching my side in pain. I looked around the room for my gear. We were located within a small room as my vision cleared and my senses were drawn back to me. I looked at the shackles and chains she broke out of. There were two body incinerators to the left of her chains. My guess was, after whatever was done dismembering me, was going to throw me in there with Fluttershy. To the left of the incinerators was a sink filled with blood and a paint brush sitting on the counter. God, whoever did this to us had fucked up head problems. Toward the end of the operation table located behind me was a diagram of a human torso, complete with internals...Probably used as a guided diagram on me. What I didn’t realize that there was bloody gibblets at the head of the operation table. I analyzed the table...and realized they were my own. I covered my mouth and became sick, as I felt under my shirt and felt the details of fresh stitches along the side of my abdomen. Behind the table was a fridge, probably used for storing body parts. We didn’t bother to look inside anyway. To the side of the fridge was an empty metallic stool with a bookshelf complete with medical science, doctor letters, human and horse anatomy. What caught my eye in this room, was an old round rusted lever. We tried the door but there was no budge. I leaned up against the wall near the bookshelf, and pointed over to the lever. I was weak and could barely speak for myself. “Pull…..pull that lever down”. I said, while barely lifting my pointer finger. Fluttershy rushed over to the lever and did as she was told. The door slowly opened as I attempted to lean on Fluttershy as support, nearly missing the ground. Luckily, she caught me as we shuffled out of the room. Fluttershy looked to her right and covered her mouth with her hoof, eyes widened. I shifted my head to the right and saw a gruesome sight. To the right of us, was a man behind bars, impailed on a hanging meat hook, but the worst thing was....he was still alive. His mouth was melted shut and his legs were completely gone, as if someone crudely sawed them off. I saw salt crystals on the wounds of his legs where it apparently clotted to stop the bleeding. There was nothing we could do for that poor soul. A door parallel to the room we were located in, was in front of us. I tried the door, but the locking mechanism was broken. I prayed to god that her friends were not in there, suffering the same fate as this man and I did. We had no choice...but to move on. We shuffled to our left where we saw more of those metallic candles placed on pedestals on a rising flight of stairs. Painfully and forcefully, we asended upward to another landing. Halfway of the staircase to the right of us was another door. The lock on this damn thing was broken, as we were forced to move onward. As we reached the top landing, another gruesome scene confronted us. A metal wall opened in front of us, revealing a mutilated corpse. We saw another human with ropes bounded on its hands. It’s skull cap was completely missing, with the top of the brain exposed. Its ribcage was completely bare, and below it revealed its spinal cord. The lower section of its body was completely gone. Fluttershy looked away, as we traveled up to another landing up the flight of stairs. Another metallic door was to the right of us as I attempted to open it, but with no luck. We finally reached the top of the stairs, where a rotted portrait of Mary and baby Jesus stood before us. The odd thing was....baby Jesus is looking up to Mary with pure blackened eyes. This was an obvious mocking of an infamous religious symbol. To the right of the portrait, was a leg hanging and what looked like a human liver on the table on a cupboard. Below the portrait, was a cabinet with a note on the headboard. The scribbling on the note was extremely illiterate, but it read: Doctor’s Note Prat of signaurcl thuineqce braek tohugrh The bcak tehn I sild the irntmsneut over. I satb and move form side to side to cut the bairn in the preurocde. Fluttershy glanced up at me with worry. “Wha....What does that mean?” I had enough energy to speak.“Thi.'.s thing that were dealing with thinks it’s a surgeon. It must be dismantling people for food or....it's own studies. Lets carry on and find you friends Flutt...” I lost my breathe at that last sentence from the pain on my side. She saw that my condition was worsening. “We have to hurry and find you help, you cannot go for long in this condition.” Fluttershy said as she supported me back onto her shoulders. I nodded in dizziness as we moved on. We contiuned out of a door left to the portrait. There before us was narrower room with rotted shelves, that had some of my gear on it. It had my missing vest. Luckily, my Glock 19 was still holstered within the vest, complete with it's mags. The other shelf contained my backpack, but we decided to temporarily leave it there until I can regain my strength. Below the shelf was another mutilated corpse, like if some kind of vicious animal tore it completely up. Thankfully...it was human and wasn't one of her friends. The rusted metal doors that we kept running into, all contained broken locks, with no cause or explanation. Down the hall was another wooden gothic door that I attempted to open. I almost tripped when we saw sections of the floor missing and exposing bare dirt. As I opened the gothic door, there stood before us...a solid brick wall. “The fuck is this?” I grumbled as I dragged my head upward. We couldn’t do anything about this.....bizarrly placed brick wall, so we moved along. A small portrait of a mummy was next to the brick wall. We walked into the next room, where large wooden containers with blood stains and large openings of rotting flesh stenched the air. To the left of the room, was two small blue bottles of a fluid of some sort. I opened one of these bottles...A blue liquid spilled out and absorbed through my hand. I felt my condition improve slightly better, as my wounds felt like they were closing in my body. There was also an ambient green glowing helmet looking thing. I attempted to pick it up, and it shattered in my hands. My skin slightly hardened when this occured. “Let’s try to find more of these things." Whatever these things were improved my condition. She nodded, as I regained some of my strength. There were two holding chambers to the left of a large bloodied box. One contained opened shackles and chains, while the other contained a disfigured body with a wooden bucket of blood below it. To the side wall of the body was a skull embedded in the wall, where my hand caselessly hit it. It’s mouth opened, as something moved within the house. A door opened to the opposite wall of the bloody wooden box that revealed a mechanical gear room. Electrical conduit and an outlet box were exposed in this room. Fluorescent lights flickered, as we saw three gear wheels that were exposed within a machine. The gears were twiching within this box, as an axel was exposed. Fluttershy analyzed the gears and said to me “I bet...we need a gear to complete this machinery.” She was so naive when it came to obviousness like this situation. I agreed, while swaying my head slightly from the lack of blood “I’ll be sure to keep an eye out.” I was a little bit better on my own now. Fluttershy decided to walk on all four. I shuffled back to my backpack from the the other room. The blue liquid was slowly taking effect, as my strength replentished within my body. We opened up another wooden gothic door. I withdrew my Glock 19 and pointed it toward the wooden doorway at the top of the stairs, as we walked our way upwards. As I pursued to open the wooden door, a large demonic furry bi-pedal pink goat like monster roared and charged at me. I squeezed a round while falling backwards, while a portal relinquished this monster into thin air. Fluttershy was shaking again as she slid behind me. We walked into a new room from the top of the staircase. Behold a kitchen in front of us that contained with one of the worst smells in the world; Comming from the sink. The sink was buzzing with flies gorged with rotting flesh with maggots spilling out of it. We both turned our heads where I noticed a small window, framed with another one of those brick walls covering the outside world. More gibs and a metallic candle were located on a kitchen table. There was a larger wooden door in front of us, as I opened it slowly. There before us was two human skinned faces pinned on the wall. This looked like something directly out of a House of a 1000 Corpses...except it was...real. I told myself that this was just a horrible nightmare. I pleaded to myself to wake up from it. We walked left of the skinned face and made our way to a gargoyle styled door, with an old style ring doorknob handle. We ventured into another mechanical like room. Metal boxes, wooden crates and more mutilated bodies were contained in here. A odd looking personal mirror was mounted along the side of a wall. “Hm...what a strange looking mirror.” I holstered my Glock 19 and looked deep into the mirror. An overwhelming sense for both of us to touch the mirror befounded us. I placed my hand on the flat plane as she placed her hoof below my legs, as we were transported into somewhere else. Somewhere...dark. //-------------------------------------------------------// In search of a close friend //-------------------------------------------------------// In search of a close friend Reality became distorted within seconds as our world deteriorated right before our eyes. “Oh no, what’s happening?” Fluttershy said as she grabbed my leg in worry. I squatted down to her height, and placed my arm around her as I withdrew my Glock yet again. We were transported into the same room with the strange looking mirror, with the same mutilated corpses. This time however, the shadows of skinned faces illuminated the room we were in. A marble ceramic door was in place of the gargoyle door we’ve entered. A large medkit with a whole pack of that blue fluid was located near the skinned faces. As more of my body absorbed this liquid, It felt like I could move more swifly on my own. I felt somewhat normal again, but still had that...missing feeling from within my body. When we opened the marble ceramic door were stumbled into a rusted maze of interconnecting cages. This place had hundreds of trapped tortured humans embedded behind prison bars within the stone walls. We decided to advance toward another ceramic door, where we heard the buzzing of chainsaws. Shit, I did not like what was comming our way. “Stay back Flutters!” Good thing I said that, because the door opened with three demonically posessed humans charging directly at us. I emptied two rounds into their chests as they yelled in pain while faceplanting the metal cage. We persued though the door, when two pink ugly looking bi pedal demons roared and sprinted forward to the left of us. I emptied the rest of my mag in these pink things, as two rounds wasn’t enough to bring them down. This room containted another metallic candle sitting on a wooden desk. To the left of us ,was a type 3 ceramic plated chest body armor, abandoned from a search party member. I'm not exactly sure at the time why someone would leave such a valuable piece of armor behind, but now wasn't the time for asking questions. I wore the carrier plates under my vest as we continued on down a hallway. Fluttershy reached her hoof to the handle of another ceramic door, as a demonic carved stone door opened abruptly behind us. I pushed Fluttershy to the left as she faced this door, and I darted to the right. Gunshots wizzed right besides us while we heard more chainsaws buzzing. A group of drone like formal humans looked around in confusion from the new room. I emptied my second mag into a group of four formal humans and two possessed chainsaw humans. The formal humans had an odd looking rifle I’ve never seen before. I picked it up and looked over the new rifle. I located the mag release and charging handle of this new weapon. Fluttershy looked around and found 5 preloaded 30 round mags on the bodie. We continued onwards. A flight of downward metallic steps complete with another metallic candle stood before us. At the end of this hallway was another ceramic door. We pushed onwards. Our enviorment flashed before us. We moved forward to the right. Two more chainsaw wielding posessed humans charged as us. I quickly double tapped two rounds into their chest. They both faceplanted the ground as we continued on. Another corridor with a wooden gothic door was to the right of us. Before entering this door, I placed myself to the left of the door as fluttershy was to the right. I kicked open the door, and a low demonic growl filled the room. A grey, bony like humanoid figure hissed and threw a yellow fireball at me. I dropped to the floor and emptied 5 rounds into its chest. This demon grunted and fell to the floor while I saw, what looked like, a spirit leave it’s body. Nothing else to see in here besides a old grandfather clock and common bedroom furniture. We continued down the hallway where a pair of rusted metallic bar slammed in front of our faces. A metal door opened behind us. Fluttershy scurried behind me. I planted myself to the right of the wall and pointed the rifle in the opposite direction of the corridor. Five flaming skulls hissed while flying right besides my face, singeing some hairs on my head. All five of them took 3 rounds before they imploded. We traveled down the corridor where the flaming skulls were located. To the right of us was another gothic wooden door, to the left was a notorious rusted metal door with a broken lock. We went though the wooden door. At the end of the room facing us, was my long gone MSAR rifle blocked by a metal cutout of a wall. A pink demon opened the door to the left of us. I fell backwards and emptied the rest of my magazine into it. Fluttershy was playing it safe from these sudden surprises, and stood near the wooden doorway. I walked though the narrow pathway where the pink demon emerged from. At the end of the hall was a narrow section of bricks removed...revealed a decaying torn open body. As I looked at the body, I noticed some distingusihable features. Then it hit me, It was one of the members of the search party! “Flutters! You better come in here!” I yelled back to her. She came barging though the door and instantly gasped, as she too recognized the body. My god...what kind of monsters where we facing here? I opened the door leading to my MSAR rifle. As I attempted to go toward the rifle on the table, a door behind me opened as a door opened opposite to the metal cutout. A shadowy figure with red glowing eyes squatted in a attack position where I turned around. Without hesitation, I emptied four rounds into the creature. “Ryan, look out!” Fluttershy yelled from the doorway. Two red fireballs with an after image trailed to the right of my sholder. One hit me strait in the chest. It knocked me flat on my ass as I spun around 180 degrees. Fluttershy reached for my MSAR rifle as she squeezed a few rounds into the shadow figures, standing on her back hooves. They dropped dead to the floor. “Are...you alright?” She offered her hoof as I grabbed it, regaining my posture. “Yeah, the body armor absorbed most of the impact thank god.” There was a slight first degree burn on my chest, but nothing serious.More importantly I saw how well she took down those monsters. “Look, why dont you hold onto my rifle for now on?" I said to her before we moved onward. MSAR’s and the line of Steyr Aug rifles had elongated trigger guards where a ponies pointed hoof can easily access the trigger. It only made sense for her to use the rifle. “Okay.” Fluttershy said in an assertive voice. That's more like it, Flutters. The broken locked metal door was now wide open after this event. We continued though the door where three more shadow figures readied in their combat stance. Fluttershy took the one to the left and I took the two to the right. The three of them collapsed as we moved onward. Another infamous gothic wooden door was in front of us in this deteriorating looking office room we were located in. We continued though a curved hallway were he heard what sounded like sizzling meat on a grill. Before us, floated a giant red blob with a green uni eye and blue internal mouth with razor sharp teeth. It launched a electro-static ball at us. We both darted backwards as three flaming skull wizzed through the doorway. Another electro-static ball hit a flamming skull and splashed onto the other two. The three flamming skulls suddenly lost interest in us and charged at the the giant red blob. “Wait...Fluttershy, hold your fire." I couldnt believe what I was seeing with my own eyes. The three monsters were fight the giant red blob! One of the skulls charged at its green eye, as it became instantly blinded. The red blob gnauled at one of the skull, and it imploded. Another electro-static ball flew out of its mouth as it hit the other skulls. It imploded as well. The giant blob opened its mouth toward us, as we unloaded 8 rounds from our rifles. The thing deflated and hit the floor with its interals spilling out. Thank god I taught Fluttershy all of the basics of rifle handling back in Equestria. She reloaded and inserted a fresh mag in the MSAR. I did the same as well for my rifle. The door opened at the end of the curved hallway. Metallic chairs where facing in odd directions as we sprinted down the hallway. We continued down the corridor to the dead possessed chainsaw humans as we steered to the right. A pink demon, a few brown humanoids, and a a shadow figure all snarled at us. We unloaded half of our magazines into the demons. I noticed another gothic wooden door and opened it. This room contained a bony grey humanoid with two shadow figures. We emptied another 5 rounds into the creatures. We contined down into a room with a water leak. This new room we were in smelled awful. The ground was flooded with stagnant water, with metallic candles lit up a push button switch on the other side of the narrow corridor. Metal bars slammed behind us yet again. “Damn it! Another trap....Wanna do the honors of pressing this switch?” I said in uncertainty to Fluttershy. “Um...Sure” Fluttershy said in uncertainty in response. A dozen brown humanoids hissed at us from behind as we jumped backwards. I emptied my whole mag while Flutters did the same. I was down to one mag left, while Fluttershy had only two mags left. We continued around a curved pathway into a room with two gray humanoids with a large, 8 foot tall goat standing in the center. It roared at us. Fluttershy aimed at the chest while I aimed at it's goat legs. It collapsed to the floor while the two gray bony humanoids lauched their yellow fireballs at us. Thankfully, they hit the goat thing in the process while it tried to regain it's posture. It roared in anger as it grasped the ankles of the bony gray humanoids, as they hissed and started clawing at the downed goat thing. It managed to take out one while the other tore open its neck where green blood spewed out. I aimed at the head of the surviving gray bony humanoid and it collapsed to the ground. There was another pressure switch behind the monsters, as Fluttershy moved forward to press it. Another door opened as we retreated back into the curved path. A pink demon and a mixture of humanoids hissed at us from within another room. After the infighting was over due to the brown humanoids clumsiness, I was completely dry of ammo. Fluttershy had half a mag left. “I think you better take it back, since it is your rifle”. Fluttershy handed me my old rifle flat on her hooves. I had no choice but to agree with her at this point. “Good idea”. It was good feeling finally having my old MSAR returned to me. I slung it over my sholder, while discarding the odd looking rifle on the floor. I switched back to my Glock 19 which still had a few mags left ready for it. We continued to a room with a lava pit located behind bars with a staircase spirling upwards. A Few more brown humanoids stood in our way, but dropped with relative ease with the 9mm rounds fired at them. Up the round staircase layed on the floor another search party memeber behind a cell door that ended up with an unfortunate fate. Up the next landing behind another cell was...Rarity. We finally found one of her friends! This was a major sight of relief off of both of us. “Rarity!” Fluttershy shouted with excitement while Rarity was bounded to the prison wall. Rarity was in shackles and chains as well. Within her cell, was a wooden pale with stagnant water and a metallic candle. “Flut...Fluttershy! Oh darling it’s most welcoming to see you!” She said while the bar doors of her cell moved upwards with the use of her magic. She removed the shackles off her hooves with her magic and hugged Fluttershy tightly. This was the most heart warming thing I saw for awhile in this gloomy shit hole, as it gave me some personal encouragement. “I see you brought your tall friend with you, it’s very well a pleasure to see you Ryan.” She stood up to me and hugged me as well. “Ditto.” I smiled back at her. While we left her cell, an haunting echo of a older woman’s laugh traveled above us. We all glanced upwards but soon dismissed it. “Oh darlings, it was agony waiting within that cell. That man over in the other cell was...escorting me out of this prison while those brown beasts captured us. There was nothing I could possible do to save him...when I fainted and woke up again within this horrid cell. You should have felt how thirsty I was dear. They gave me this hideous brown water while I was mounted to these horrible chains. I am absoluelty parched and starved darling." She looked up at me after her complaint, which she was legendary and talented at doing. "Could you mind sparing me something to eat, dear?” Fluttershy continued after her. “I’m getting kinda hungry too...” Fluttershy said looking up to me. I though for a minute while I looked back at the girls, with their convincing faces of hunger directed toward me. Then it hit me, I took off my backpack and reached inside. “I’ll break out some of my ration bars. That should at least satisfy our hunger for awhile." Ask any survivalist or military veteran about ration bars, and they will tell you they taste like puke. However, it tasted like heaven to us, since it’s been awhile for all of us since when we had our last meals. After discarding our wrappers into the lava pit, we moved toward the top of the steps onto a wooden gothic door. Before we entered yet another gloomy curved corridor, we paused for a bit. I scouted ahead of the girls and saw another red blob, flaming skulls, and more brown humanoids. “Ok girls, listen up. We’re going to have to run though this, I do not have enough ammo to take them all on. I’ll fire a warning shot which will hopefully cause some attention to me from the monsters. Hopefully these things are stupid enough to launch a fireball and hit one of their allies, causing them to fight among themselves. After that, follow me. We’re going to sprint to the other side of this corridor.” They both nodded in agreement silently. I fired the warning shot where a mix of hissing and demonic growls came toward our direction. The plan worked well, the red blob was clusmy enough to fight with the other monsters, while I’d blazed though the crowd with the remaining ammo I had in my MSAR. I transitioned to my sidearm while Rarity used her magic to pull a round metallic lever during our run. I flipped over a metal chair and took cover with the girls right beside me. An elevator hastily lowered itself at the end of the hall. While I fired half of a magazine of the Glock 19 back into the crowd of monsters. An elevator rose to the ground level. The elevator rose rapidly as we jumped on it. We were raised into the small room, with a ceramic door that Fluttershy previosly opened. Again we we back where we started, in the maze of inter linking metal cages. We returned to the odd mirror, and grabbed both of the girls hooves as I pressed on forward into the mirror... //-------------------------------------------------------// I await for you //-------------------------------------------------------// I await for you We returned to the room with the strange mirror and the mutilated bodies. Rarity glanced over to the right of us in disgust of the horrid scene. She must have seen her fair share of unspeakable horrors, while she was contained within her cell. On a small metal platform in front of the mirror where we stood, was the missing gear for the gear. Fluttershy recognized the missing gear. “This must be the missing gear...located from the machinery downstairs.” Fluttershy said looking up to me. Rarity had no idea what she was talking about, but went along with it. I placed the gear in my backpack, and we made our way down to the gear machinery room. Right about mid point of where the pinned faces were located, a sound of echoing footsteps rambled thoughout the place. This took us all by surprise. “Get down!” I shouted, as Rarity and Fluttershy squatted behind me. I pointed the Glock 19 to the ceiling to the sound of the footsteps. Whatever was up there walking around, had to be the thing who imprisoned all of us here. I feared It could come down at any moment from the third story of the house. The footsteps stopped midway in the main room. Absolute silence hit us like a lead baloon after this event. “Darling, let’s please hurry up and get out of here.” Once we made it to the gear room, I let Fluttershy place the gears into its corresponding place. The gears were now all working in unison, as all of the houses mechanisms inside the wall were now working. We walked back into the main hall of the house, now facing a brick wall like we saw back near the gear room. It was time to make a decision, as two open rooms we're located to the left and right of us. I went with my gut instinct and chose the right entryway. “I think we should go right and continue our search from there” I said in uncertainty. The loud footsteps returned from the ceiling, echoing thoughout the house once again. As we made to our right, there was a human head impailed on a spike near a line of wooden drawers. We chose to ignore it and moved on into the room to the right. This room looked like a...makeshift indoor graveyard of sorts. More of those ambient metallic candles lit up the room. Rusted chains hung from the ceiling, and to the right of the room was a robed statue with that insignia we saw back in the cell. It looked like an upside down trident, connected to a cross with the base of the cross connected to a chain. "Ryan...look...more of those symbols are behind those bars.” Fluttershy pointed with her hoof. All three of us walked over to the bars that blocked off a well. To the left was one of those skull switches that my hand bumped into previously. “Be careful darling.” Rarity remarked as I carelessly pressed the skull switch. The bars lowered as all three of us peered down into a well. A well from within a house? This well from what we saw as we peered down, looked liked it never ended. Kinda like a endless black abyss, but instead of black...it glowed an ambient blue. “Hang on girls, let me get out another glowstick." I told the girls. This was Rarity’s first time ever seeing one of these chemical lights. “It’s very...illuminous darling. I wouldn’t mind having a few of these magic sticks myself.” She said with a star gazed fascination as I gave it a good shook. I just couldn't understand their fascination with simple things. When I dropped it over to the side of the well, the glowstick defied gravity on its descent as it fell deeper into the well. It was...like it was floating downward at a slow pace, nothing like anything the girls and I ever saw before. I though for a minute. “We'd better go down there. I have a feeling that one of your friends is trapped somewhere down there.” I told to Fluttershy and Rarity. “Wha...What me?” Rarity said in defiance. “I’ll...I’ll go first. I have wings and...I could always fly out.....in case anything happens.” Fluttershy purposed to the group. I protested to their responses with my own plan. “No, we go down together as a group, you girls already know how easy it is to get trapped around here. We almost lost each other just trying to find Rarity.” I holstered my Glock 19 and purposed back to the girls with my plan. “Rarity...stand in front of me. I’ll hold you as we descend downwards. Fluttershy can grab my backpack and fly us out in case anything happens”. Rarity though for a minute with her hoof up to her chin, and hastily confronted to the idea of being in my arms. Pffff haha. Fluttershy agreed as it seemed like the most rational choice at the time. Rarity sprung up in front of me and wrapped her hooves around my shoulders, and smiled directly at my face with her seductive bedroom eyes. "Why hello...darling." Oh Jesus, I thought to myself. Flutters took a good hold of my backpack and prepared her wings for flight. “Ok, here we go” as I walked to the edge of the well. I gave a little jump off, and we floated downwards. As we floated down, we saw a dim yellow light comming from a metallic candle. As I finally landed on my feet, I kneeled down so Rarity could get off. Fluttershy detached herself from my back while Rarity used my knee as a step stool to get down. This new enviorment was....haunting.The air had the aroma of abandonment and occultism. The place was filled with books and achient hieroglyphics that surrounded the walls. An ambient hymn echoed though the masonry. A misty blue light filled the atmosphere of this place. We stepped forwatd as Rarity and Fluttershy looked around at the architecture in curiousity. Menacing robed statues were to the sides of us as we stepped off of a wooden platform. A metallic candle layed in front of us and revealed another dead search party member, still clutching his customized Ar-15 by his side. I found 9 fresh Pmags and a bag of loose loose 5.56 rounds. I picked the Ar-15 up, inspected the Eotech and weapon light, and chambered a round. We all looked up from the body to a gigantic stone carving in front of us. A fosaken demonic head was scultped into the wall, with grimancing teeth and bioluminescent blue eyes that could pierce your soul. “I hope this place isnt a worship center for the occult”. I said to the girls while they seemed stargazed by this fosakened monster. More and more evidence crossed us, as this place seemed like a prayer center for the wicked. Fleshy walls with gothic bars, more mutilated bodies hung from ropes, hodded stone figurines, and worshipping candles on golden skull stood populated in our surroundings. As we progressed into a main hall, 5 of those brown humanoids hissed and snarled. “Back! Girls!” I yelled as the advanced from both sides of us. Fluttershy and Rarity darted to the left behind me as I double tapped rounds into the torsos of the brown humanoids. “Clear...It’s safe girls." They darted right behind me. This main hall of the worship grounds had more wooden gothic doors and bookshelves filled with ancient texts. We decided to try the wooden door to the right of us, and to work our way to the left door. We heard snarling comming from this door, so I told the girls to wait behind until I cleared the room of any hostile threats. I slowly opened the door and 7 of those brown humanoids were facing the other way. A wooden table was to the left of me as a darted to take cover behind it. I picked them off with two rounds to the chest while taking cover from incomming fireballs. As the room cleared of the brown humanoids from the Ar-15, a mystical robed figure floated toward me and chanted an unspoken language. A swirling trail of magic left it’s hands as it progressed toward me. I ducked, and emptied 3 rounds into the hodded figure. The figure imploded as an demonic presense floated upwards and vanished. Yep, defently the work of the occult here. I called the girls back as they raced right up to me. We made our way to the other side of the hall as two more black robed figures were both mumbling chants. I emptied the rest of my mag into them, and reloaded. The firefight skirmish comming from this room alerted more of the robed figures. One of the opened the door and left an after image dodging some of my rounds. One of magic attacks casted from another of the robed figures hit a brown humanoid in the back. It snarled and started clawing back at the figure. It imploded as it took out the other figure and the remaining humanoids. \ “Not to bright, are they dear”? Rarity questioned as she looked up at me. “Not at all, sweetheart." She loved being called sweetheart by me, as I would do so for my own enjoyment of flirting with her.I fear that she would fall into a relationship to damn easily, if the wrong guy ever crossed her way. We continued onto the next room where more of those pink demons, brown humanoids, and dark robed figures awaited us. After our skirmish I pressed on a white skull switch which revealed more of the demons. “Run!” as I said when another wall opened up to the right of the skull switch. We sprinted back to the other room with the dead demons. We heard more monster infighting sounding from the other room while I pointed the Ar-15 to the door. Two wounded black robed figures raised their hands for an attack, but I was too quick for them. We continued back into the room where a larger skull switch was mounted in the room. I carefully pressed it where I heard Fluttershy shout ”Runnn!” It was a miracle we made it to the other side, as a ton of those monsters clawed our way toward us. I emptied three rounds and shoved a brown humanoid down a flight of stairs it was blocking. The monsters were firing at us from behind. Two grey bony humanoids awaited us and launched their yellow balls. One nearly stuck Rarity while the other completely obliterated the remains of my body armor. I emptied 5 rounds into each of the monsters. A metallic candle revealed another white skull switch. As we asended up the stairs toward the fray of monsters, we saw two new monsters we’ve never seen before. One was a tall 8 foot brown skeleton with dried up red flesh around the pelvis, and with what looked like a metal brestplate. The other was a fat slob with green eyes and two large twin fireball launchers. A rocket detached from one the shoulders of the brown skeleton and hit a nearby wall. Sharapel shattered all over the place. This angered the flat slob demon as it pelted it's flabby skin, and they began fighting. The flat slob remained victorious in the aftermath, but its celebration was short live with three rounds into it's face. We made our way back to the main hall and worked our way to the two doors to the left, starting with the door to the right. Two of the hooded robed figures awaited at the end of the room of right door. I emptied four rounds into both, when something to the sides of the interior doorway caught my attention. A pair of floating bloodshot eyes with yellow irises floated above a metallic candle. Surrounding the eyes was a crudely made green pentagram. “These monsters sure do a odd taste in interior design, darling.”Rarity commented as she observed the odd structures. I smirked at her, and Fluttershy quietly giggled to herself. At the end of the room was another large white skull switch. I told the girls to wait in the main hall. After pressing a switch, it revealed a series of white skull switches with more monsters waiting in front of them. After the final skull switch was pressed by me, I told the two of them to barricade the entrance with the bookshelves to the sides of us. Rarity used her magic to knock down one in front of the doorway, while I helped Fluttershy knock over the other. The surviving monsters from infighting were trapped in the room of series skull switches. Activating both of the switches revealed a thick metal door at the end of the main hall. I opened the thick door where a formal human with a shotgun awaited us. I dolphin dived to the floor while shooting at the torso of the formal human. It moaned in pain and collapsed to the floor. The three of us inched our way into....what was a padded mental asylum of elongated cells. The metal door slammed behind us as the door wouldn’t budge. We had no choice but to move forward to a wooden bureau with a note on top, and of coarse, a metallic candle on the cells floor. It was the same illegible writing as the doctor’s note, but it seemed this one was directed toward me. I read aloud the note to the girls: Tihs day has flnilay cmoe Taht’s Rihgt – The day you and I wlil meet. I was aalwys thinking of you, hree in tihs gmlooy clel. I never even kenw your nmae or face uintl tdaoy. I dropped the note on the ground of the cell and looked blankly at one of the walls. “D..Darling? We will all get out of here in one piece. We’ve made it this far together and I’m sure the rest of the four girls are still waiting for us.” Rarity said to try to confort me. “We...can't give up now, Ryan. Your doing me a world of wonders by doing this for us. Don't let that note bother you...sweetie...and lets move on”. Flutershy said after Rarity's encouragemen. “...Right, let’s go.” ........That one note still haunts me to this day. As we continued further into the cell, a formal human growled and fired off a round from its shotgun that its pellets skitted inches from my face. I grabbed the end of its warm shotgun barrel and unloaded three rounds in its chest. The whispering returned as we made our way foward out of this damned cell, while a slender alien looking demon charged as us. It disappeared in a flash of white light before I could aim at it. A metal door to the side of us with the infamous broken locked door, opened up to reveal a brick wall as we pushed forward. When we finally reached the end of the cell labyrinth, I took a sigh of relief, and opened another thick metal door that was in front of us. We reached a room where the forsaken demonic stone sculptures surrounded the entire ceiling. Their eyes were emitting a burning red color instead of blue. More of the stone robed statues surrounding us, holding the insignia on a chain that covered the masonry walls. The floor was scattered with what looked like gravemarkers with hieroglyphics. In the far middle of a room, two stone men were praying to a large robed figure holding the insignia. In the center of the room was a white skull switch. On the other side of the switch, Twilight Sparkle laid sitting, her front hooves bonded by a rope to the switch. “Twilight!” both girls exclaimed in synchronization. “Ughhh...where am I?” Twilight said drearily. She noticed the girls when her senses regained. “Oh...Rarity! Fluttershy! Oh sweet Celestia, it’s great to see you two!." Rarity undid the ropes and the three of them hugged. Something warm inside of me was comforting during this reunion. “Oh hey Ryan, glad you could make it!” Twilight said with a great big smile on her face. “How did you wind up in here Twilight?” Fluttershy questioned. “I was running an errand for Celestia when....I was called by the Everfree forest...by a voice. The voice offered me...unlimited knowledge of arcane magic, If I would follow the voice into the Everfree forest. I started to question the voice as I arrived near the everfree forest where.....I blacked out...and ended up here.” She explained to us. “So this place is a school for arcane magic?” I asked Twilight. “Well...not exactly. It’s a combination of things. The books I’ve read here while I was in captivity...Taught me that this is a forgotten worshipping ground for an ancient deity. It had absolute tyrannical rule over mankind and ponykind millions of years ago. The stone carvings you see up on the ceilings are a representation of the deity. They were going to use my powers of magic to reincarnate the deity back onto earth. But...since you guys are here, I think their plans have just been cancelled.” Twilight said with a smirk. “Let’s find the three remaining girls and get the hell out of here.” I said after their reunion. The group of girls were also anxious to find their last three remaining friends. When Rarity removed the ropes from Twilight, she didnt realize that she bumped into the skull switch. The large stone wall with the robed figure started to sink into the tiles of the floor. Out came out a large groups of demons mixed in with the black robed figures, all trying to attack us. The clumsiness of the monsters ended up into a huge bloodbath, with claws and magical spells exchanging places. Only a few remaining black robed figures survived, and were easily gunned down by my Ar-15. We decided to do the old routine of sweeping every room going from right to left to each door, where the demonic bloodbath took place. Before we went in, I handed Fluttershy back my MSAR while I gave the task of Twilight to reload the dry magazines. After the 7 preloaded mags were in place, Fluttershy and I waited by the door. I gave her the signal, while Rarity used her magic to open the wooden gothic door. Inside was a large meeting hall filled with brown humanoids with black robed figures. Flutters focused on the brown demons while I focused on the robed figures. After both of us depleted half of a magazine, we advanced forward to the opposite side of the room. A large wooden door was opened to reveal a room with a fireplace, with three hanging torn apart bodies to the right. To the right of the bodies was another pathway with metallic candles leading the way, with open doorways to the left and locked doorways to the right. A group of large mummified men groaned and started toward us, while we finnished our remaining ammunition in our rifles at them. As we progressed down the dirt pathway, a door opened up to the right with three black robed figures launching their magic at us. We took them out with 8 rounds all together. As Rarity reached for another round metallic lever at the end of the path, a brown skeleton cried out a roar to the left of us. Fluttershy dropped my MSAR and jumped behind the creature. She took a good hold of the creatures hollow skull, and snapped its neck into two. The creature lifelessly dropped to the ground in front of us.My jaw dropped from the short account that I witnessed from disbelief. “Where the hell did you learn to do that?” I asked Fluttershy with wide eyes. “Oh...I once did that to a grizzly bear...nothing big”. “Yeah, I’ll never forget that incident” Twilight said rolling her eyes. “Darling, were capable of alot of things you wouldn’t expect from a group of girls”. Rarity said with pride. “I can very well see that.” I said adjusting myself. A red blob hissed at all the commotion and launched a electro-static ball toward us. It barely missed twilight while I aimed at its green eye. The thing hissed and opened its mouth exposing its internals. I fired at its internals and the blob deflated to the ground. We moved on where two more of the red blobs awaited for us in the meeting hall of the worshipping grounds. “Run though!” I said as we advanced into the room. All three of the girls crawled underneathe the enlongated table, as I ran on top, avoiding almost being swallowed by the two blobs. Rarity hastily opened the door with her magic as we ran though, slamming the door behind us. We proceeded to the far left wooden gothic door. I opened it to reveal an archaic library while Twilight’s eyes lit up. ”Wow, look at all these books” Her curiousity got the best of her, while a brown humanoid pounced in her direction. Rarity threw the brown humanoid off of her while I squeezed a round into it's head. This alerted a mix of more brown humanoids with grey bony humanoids. Fluttershy and I finnished the crowd off, both requiring to reload. Rarity drew my attention back to her. “Darling, can I participate in the fray with your sidearm”? Rarity looked up to me with a convincing look. “Ok fine, but save the last magazine in case we really need it, sweetheart”. I said while handing her the Glock 19. “Oh yeah, another thing, Twilight, Stay behind with the girls. It’s for your own safety. That was way too close of a call." Twilight was too inexperienced in combat, as her stubborness got the best of her. “Oh alright.” Twilight said with her ears down while she kicked some dust up with her hoof. This aging library sure was odd as I looked around more. There were bookselves suspended from the celing with no possible way of reaching them. At the end of the library, Rarity pulled another round metallic lever which activated something in the halls. We moved to the other side of the blood bathed hallway where we opened a large pair of wooden doors. We traveled downwards a flight of stairs where another fat slob growled, and readied its fire launchers at us. All three of us aimed and fired at it’s head, while brainmatter splattered behind the walls, with the fat slob collapsing to the ground. Another round metallic lever was at the end of the pathway, which Rarity pulled. As we headed back toward another flight of stairs stairs, a red pair of glowing eyes emitted though a brick layer from a brick wall. I froze within my tracks to investigate. The girls stopped and paused for a minute while looking at me. I looked though the missing brick layer and noticed it was a white skull switch with red glowing eyes. “Rarity, let me see that Glock for a second." I said while turning my head into her direction. “Ok darling.” Rarity responded as the handgun levitated in front of me. I aimed the glock at the red eyes and squeezed off a round. A wall behind us opened slowly, revealing a small secret room. “Here, you can take it back sweetheart.” I handed the handgun back to Rarity. We entered a small square room were a bookself was contained. A large blue spherical object rested on a table. I looked into the basketball sized blue sphere, and saw an imprisoned face wanting to break free. The face was bathed in the same blue liquid we found in the blue bottles. “Wh..what is it?” Fluttershy asked while the girls curiously walked forward to it. “I really have no idea. I think we should take it with us, however.” I attempted to grab the blue sphere. The blue sphere rammed itself into my chest, knocking me flat into a wall. The container exploded in fragments while the blue liquid entered though the pores of my skin. The face was sucked right into my body. I looked down to my arms and saw my veins glowing with a blue luminescent light. “My godness dear, are you alright?” Rarity caringly questioned while Fluttershy looked in worry over me. “Alright?!?! Damn! That’s an understatement! I feel fantastic! We gotta find more of these things if we come across anymore!” I said while raising my voice that startled the girls. The scars of my wounds vanished, while it felt like I could run a marathon. The feeling was similar to the feel after you pumped heavy weights at the gym and could go for a thousand reps more. The exhilarating feeling of having sex with the woman of your dreams, and...and....Ok, I should stop now. Whatever was missing inside my body grew back. We made our way to the back of the blood bathed hall to reach the final door, which was not searched. As we opened it, a group of black robed figures speaking their unspoken touge to a group of cloaked posessed humans. Rarity and I aimed at the posessed humans while Fluttershy took out the group’s speakers. A wall of intestines leaked out of a missing slot of bricks within another brick wall in the room. As we entered the door right to the intestine wall, Twilight ran over to the opposite wall of the doorway. She pulled the metallic round lever with her magic, alerting a few monsters with her presense. We darted out of the room and made it back to the blood bathed hallway. A door that was previously closed, now opened at the end of the hallway. To the left of the new entryway was a blue colored key sitting to the left of us, used to open a door of unknown origin at the time. As I grasped and pocketed the key, a broken metal door opened behind us. Great, now we are in another one of those damned asylm padded mazes, with another note next to a pile of gibblets contained on a drawer. I read it aloud to the girls. Scik of Lvniig / Uinnwillg to die Cut Claen Blood sutrnpig, Dipipnrg Slnipilg All oevr her new Dser Life Dirnaing into an Uerincntn dtaeh. She wont die. RH “Sick of living.......Unwilling to die” Twilight mumbled to herself. “...I know of that poem!” Twilight exclaimed to us. “We’ll whats it from?” I asked to her. “It’s an infamous serial killer dated back from the late 60’s into the early 70’s. From your earth, Ryan. He was named the Zodiac Killer who claimed who have murdered 37 humans, but investigators agreed that he only had 7 victims. He...was never captured by the local authorities.”....how the hell did she know that? Too much free time I guess. “Ah shit, a serial killer? Like we need another hole in the fucking head...” I said while crumpling the note onto the floor. “Oh my... a serial killer.” Fluttershy said in fear to herself. Rarity’s expression was blank from horror. I had to say something to the girls. “Ladies, do not trust anything that even remotely looks like a human for now on except for me, you got that? We can’t take any more risks by bringing back anymore crazed humans to Equestria.” The three of them silently agreed as we walked foward in the cell. We faced a broken metal door which opened in front of us. A small room with a hundred or so skinned faces illuminated from the wall, casting out an holograpic image of itself. “This is where we get out of here.” Twilight said facing the wall. “How do you know that, dear?” Questioned Rarity. “I've read in captivity in one of the books here that...If you follow into the light of a thousand faces, you’ll find your way back home.” All three girls placed their hooves on the wall as I placed my hand correspondingly. We were sucked into the faces... //-------------------------------------------------------// A faded city //-------------------------------------------------------// A faded city As we arrived back to the serial killers house where once we were contained, something moved in the main hall. Once was a large brick wall was now a narrow hallway, with it emitting a low frequency that rattled your skull. This hallway would drive a sane being into a enraged animal, if you stood in the frequency for long enough. At the other end of the hallway was a bloodied wooden door. I volenteered to dash though the frequency and to check the door. As I ran though, a sudden disturbance came crashing from upstairs. The girls and I looked to the ceiling, only to hear a morbid scene occuring right above our heads. The crashing of a large blunt object...as a man screamed in terror. The sounds of bones cracking to every strike this poor man recieved. The mans screams were surpressed by the following of gurgling his own blood as he crashed to the floor.....Then it was dead silent. All three girls were shaking violently from the disturbance, looking back at me to hurry up. I tried the door to see it was locked and sprinted back to them. The footsteps echoed thoughout the main as a body was being dragged. It was time to investigate the last lower area of the hall, to the far right. We jogged though a narrow corridor into a family room. The room was complete with images of the mummies we encountered earlier, more pinned faces on the wall, a rotted sofa, some indistinguishable flesh on the floor, and another note laying on a desk. The note read: And I Wlil csuae them to eat the fsleh Of thier sons and the felsh of tehir dheugrats, And tehy slhal eat eervy one the flseh of his freind... --Jieaemrh 19:9 “I have...no idea where that’s from." Twilight said while examining the note. Rarity and Fluttershy looked to each other, not knowing what to say.I covered my mouth in horror and knuew exactly where the note was from. “What’s wrong Ryan?” Twilight said looking up at me with a puzzled expression on her face. “That’s a quote from the Bible...Twilght. Scholars can’t figure out...and countlessly argued why that verse in the Bible exists. It was interpreted that God made his own people eat the flesh of one another. Some say it was an act of vengence from him...while others claim it was famine that plagued his people during the time. I sometimes dont understand my own religion...or God at times...Twilight...but in the end, I will turn away from evil...and chose to fight for whats morally pure and true. You girls represent just that.” Well, that was a hell of a speech in such short notice. That little speech made the girls smile and restored some sense of hope within our group. A skull switch was located in a corner near the bookself in the family room. The bookself slid to the left and revealed a stairway descending downwards, with metallic candles leading the way. A pillar of skulls lid up the bottom floor, revealing a small puddle of stagnent water. To the right of the puddle was an after image of a wodden door transcending towards us. To the right of the door was a medkit, which had an arm strap. Twilight strapped the medkit around her neck as we progressed toward the door. Before I could reach the doorknob, I blinked, and were outside of the serial killers house. A great feeling of melancholy and loneliness overswept us as we looked around, but we were glad we didn’t have to breathe the smell of rotting flesh anymore. A formal human with a brown humanoid’s body laid near a small burning trash barrel, in front of a rusted fence. We descended out into a stone street, and overhead streetlights that covered the side of the road that flickered dimly. An unexplainable weather pattern was occuring in the skyline, as dark clouds and mist hastily moved in one direction. It looked like...as if it was dusk outside, and the sun’s rays never touched this forgotten city. We looked below the rusted fence to see a river flowing in a strait path. We could also see more large buildings and skyscrapers on the horizon. We continued onto the street as my boots and the girls hooves clackled with every step. We looked up to a streetlight to see a partially alive male body dangling from the lamp, trying to break free from a meat hook impailed from in his back. His blood covered the glass of the lamp which flickered a red tint onto the street. I would have spared the poor soul by squeezing a round into his head, but I couldnt risk attention being drawn to the group, so we continued onward. About a few yards to the right of the dangling poor soul was a single story burnt house. Sll of its doors and windows were missing. I lead the group into the house, sweeping every room to check for supplies that we could use. More metallic candles laid on the floor dimly lighting our surroundings within this place. A brown skeleton roared behind us and launched one of its rockets at me. I darted below a empty window frame as the rocket exploded on the outside of the house. I exposed myself to the brown skeleton with my Ar-15 aimed right at it’s skull, squeezing off 4 rounds before it dropped to the ground. We started to sweep the rooms, right to left, working our way around the abandoned house. A formal human's corpse laid on a bed with a shotgun nearby, which alerted a shadow figure that launched a fireball at me. The fireball fizzed my hair above my head, as I spun around and emptied three rounds into its chest. I looked back to the formal humans corpse to see it clutching a mossberg 500 pistol grip shotgun. I Inspected the chamber and worked the action, seeing it was in good use. The girls jumped a little in surprise to the intimidating sound of the slide being worked. I took my Glock 19 back from Rarity traded her the Ar-15, in which she used her magic to levitate the rifle right beside her. The short length of the Mossberg was better for room clearing in this case. The next room was completely empty with only a 100 round box of buckshot sitting in a corner. Twilight grabbed the box and dumped the shells into her Medkit, which had plenty of open room. We made our way to the last room, passing a kitchen counter with rotten food complete with maggots and flies buzzing around. The last room had an old kevlar vest with two shadow figures readied in their attack position. One shell fire from the mossberg was used for each of the figures. I wore the kevlar vest undeneath my combat vest. We made our way back onto the street and moved forwards. We passed a mutilated hanging corpse to the left of us, recessed from a metal arc. An overhead bridge complete with open viewports was in front of us. Another corpse was hanging from a streetlight by its left foot. How the hell was this serial killer taking the time and effort to hang these bodies all though this city? Wouldn’t authorities have shot this psychopath on sight, doing such a treacherous act? Some things didn’t add up in my mind as we continued on into the bridge, guided by more metallic candles. As we exited out of the bridge, we could hear the low growl from a pink demon to the right of us. I aimed my rifle toward the growl, as it got louder when it progressed forward. We could hear the pink demon, but we couldnt see it anywhere in plain sight. Out of thin air, a pink demon appeared and attempted to take a chunk out of Fluttershy. Fluttershy, Rarity, and I unloaded our firearms into the pink beast, as it collapsed onto the street. Fluttershy’s eyes were wide as she ran over to me, trembling from the incident. “Great...now we have to deal with...invisble monsters now?” Twilight said in disbelief. I had to make a small statement regarding what just happened.“Girls, if any one of you hears any close growling or roaring from within this city, shoot only one round within the direction of the noise. We cannot risk any one of you...becomming mortally wounded. Twilights medical supplies cannot heal us all.” I reloaded four new shells into the Mossberg, as Rarity and Fluttershy asked for a fresh mag from me. We made our way to the right of the bridge toward a tall building, which had a small staircase leading to a walkway. The walkway surrounded the perimeter of the building. We followed the metallic candle path as we made our way to the main entrance of the tall building, where a shadow figure guarded the entrance. One shotgun blast ruined its day as we drew near the entrance. Rarity pressed a pressure switch located to the left of the entrance, in which the main entrance doors swung open. A small room containing a creepy fucking portrait of a grotesque human sat on the wall. To the left of it was a round metallic lever, which Rarity pulled. A small elevator descended from the left of us where we all scrunched onto. The girls were forced to stand on their lower hooves from the lack of space as the elevator ascended upwards. Two ammo boxes of 5.56 hollow point greeted us at the top of the elevator, sitting on two pedestals. We took whatever ammo we could carry from the boxes, and moved into the next room. The room contained a large skyview of the ceiling, a large metal container, a few metal shipping containers, some boxes with rotting flesh that peered out, and a large rusted metal cage dead center in the room. The cage contained the last three girls we were looking for, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack! Applejack and Rainbow Dash huddled together for warmth within the cage. Pinkie Pie was curled up into the fetal position, laying on her side wimpering to herself. “Girls!” Fluttershy, Rarity, and Twilight shouted instinctively with wide eyes. The three girls within the cage got up in confusion. That was a bad move, as three of the shadow figures withdrew out of the dark corners of the room and launched their fireballs at us. “Girls, get back to the elevator!” I shouted to them. A three second hesistation fell over the girls in joy of seeing their remaining friends alive and well, as I grabbed and dragged them away from the cage, and took cover inside the elevator. I had another plan up my sleeve. “Look, theres no possible way we’re breaking into that cage, but we can use the shadow figures to our advantage. The fireballs they cast, can melt metal. I've noticed it when I retrieved my MSAR rifle. So I’d figure, if we could take out two of the monsters and leave one alive, we can get your remaining friends. Fluttershy and I will take two of them out, while I’ll need you two to pin down the last monster with your magic. Got that?” All three of them nodded, as Fluttershy and I prepared ourselves to re-enter the room. We leaned near the pedestals of the entryway, as I gave the signal to Fluttershy to flank the left as I would advance to the right. Fluttershy engaged the monster to the left of the cage as I squeezed rounds into the monster to the right. “Alright girls, go now!” I yelled back to them. Rarity and Twilight Sparkle galloped to the last remaining monster, that stood in a dark corner in its attack position. The girls used their telekinesis magic to slam the monster onto the floor. The monster struggled to break free from the girls magic, but to no avail. The girls within the cage watched in curiousity. “What in tarnation are y’all doing to that critter?” Applejack remarked with a raising eyebrow. “Stand to the side of the cage, girls. We’re going to get you out.” I called back to them. “Oh, thank Celestia.” Rainbow Dash said in relief. “Yay! A rescue!” Pinkie exclaimed while bouncing up from the ground. I squatted near the monsters right claw while the girls held the squirming fiend down with their magic. I took the wrist of the monster and pointed the palm to the middle of the cage. The skin texture of this thing was cold and lifeless, as the fiend launched a fireball from its right hand to the cage. Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie all held their backs leaned up against the inner walls of the cage while this occured. The shadow figure launched another ball from its hand toward the cage. ”Keep doing that sugarcube, we’re almost out.”Applejack said in hope. Finally the third fireball melted the reinforced bars, leaving a small gap for the girls to fit though. Afterwards, I pointed the muzzle of the Ar-15 to the shadow figures head, and squeezed off a round. All three of the girls that were imprisoned were now out of the cell, and gave each other all a group hug. Rainbow Dash was talking to Fluttershy, Twilight was discussing something to Applejack, and Pinkie was giggling with Rarity. Fluttershy trotted to Applejack and reached into her backpack, and revealed her hat. ”This is...for you.”She said while handing her the hat. “Aw shucks, thanks sugarcube. I can’t stand being alone without mah hat”. They both hugged. “Ok, now l see that all of you girls are in good health. I think we all can’t wait to leave this forsaken place.” I said to the group. “How the heck are we going to do that tall guy? We’re still not sure how we ended up here in the first place.” Rainbow Dash purposed with her hooves on her hips. Her nickname for me was 'tall guy' back in Equestria. I went along with it. ”Twilight found some books with arcane magic back in her holding area, perhaps if she gained insight from one of the books, of somehow if she could open a portal to back home, we might just have a chance.” I said to the group. I walked around the cage to reveal a switch with a demonic skull embedded. I pressed it while the dark openings of the switch glowed a golden light, as something slightly moved from a distance. We all managed to scruch together on elevator with barely any breathing room as we descended downwards. We were back to the outside of the perimeter of the tall building. As we looked over the concrete railing, a group of brown humanoids ripped out a roar that filled the air. “ Wait! Use this, silly!” Pinkie pie handed me a high fragmentation grenade to use on the advancing group. “Where on Earth did you get that?” I said to her while we all took cover behind the brick masonry. ”Ohhh...I found it on one of the good guys trying to look for us. He was killed by one of those mean monsters. So...I found this on his body!” Pinkie grinned widely at me. God, nothing ever seems to phase her personality, even in life or death situations. I gotta hand it down to her for that. I pulled the pin of the grenade while the safety mechanism disengaged, throwing it over the wall. I covered my ears while the girls did the same. A large shockwave filled the air and rattled the masonry bricks. I stood up and took out with a single blast, a crawling brown humanoid with its legs completely blown apart. The rest of the brown humanoids where bursted into gibblets all over the ground. We made our way down the staircase to a building that we completely forgot to check to the right of us, near the entrance of the overhead bridge. Thank god we did. The building was a small gunstore, with tons of army surplus supplies inside. The window was made out of bullet resistant plexiglass, as it had a garage off to the right. The store displayed a rifle under a light, that I would never think I would ever see in my lifetime. The title of the store was called Miguel’s Guns and Surplus. I tried the door....locked. Applejack tried bucking the plexiglass but with no luck. “Ryan...remember that blue colored key?” Fluttershy asked with a sharp memory. “Yeah...but what are the chances that blue key will work on here?” It did, as this firearm store prolonged our survival within this city. This place was packed A to Z varieties of weapons. Many different types of firearms were on the gun racks displayed on the back. A clear glass display case showed off various types of semi automatic handguns and revolvers. Different types of MOLLE gear, tactical vests, bandoleers, body armor, gas masks, medical supplies, and backpacks served as surplus to the store. Knives and machetes were in a bin near another gunrack. Magazines, weapon sights, lights, and gun cleaning kits were in the accessories bin. Plenty of ammo calibers were stacked neatly to last here until doomsday. It also seemed like the girls were also enjoying themselves, as this was like a candystore to them. I walked over to two boxes that read “MRE case A” and “MRE case B”. Awesome, finally a good food source. Before I opened the contents of the boxed MRE’S, I went over to the girls and helped them chose out their gear. Rarity came up to me in question. “Darling, do you think I’ll look better in is combat vest with this color or this Molle vest with this color?” Rarity asked me while holding up two vests on a hanger. Was this some kind of fashion store to her? I had to think up something clever to say to her. I stated ”Rarity, you would look absolutely gorgeous with any vest that you could find in here, sweetheart.” God, that was fucking cheesy. Her eyes lid up after that statement, as she ran over to my side and gave me a great hug. “Ohhh...thank you darling.” She ran back to the mirror with Twilight as she couldn’t make up her own mind. Fluttershy snickered as she knew back in Equestria, how Rarity would take a guy’s comment so seriously. “Um...Ryan? Could you help me put on this vest....and this belt around my waist?” She balanced herself on her rear hooves as she looked in front of the mirror, waiting over for me. “Yeah... sure.” I walked over to her, as she chose her most confortable vest. I held the vest in place as she slipped her front hooves though the arm holes of the vest. I squatted down to my knees around her tail and helped her adjust her belt. ”I...wanted to make sure the other girls are not looking...when I do this...” That question threw me off. “What? Well...why?" I asked while I looked behind me toward her friends that were too preoccupied with the store. Fluttershy turned my head back to her direction and kissed me on the lips. “I...want to thank you...for doing this all for me. As..you..can see...I wouldn’t know what to do with myself...without the company of my friends.” I stroked the side of her mane out of the way to reveal her face. “Flutters...it’s the least I could do for you...and your friends. I’m not asking for any kind of special reward. The most rewarding thing we can do right now, is to focus our energies on getting back home.” Oh Fluttershy.... “...Okay sweetie.” Fluttershy whispered in my ear as she went over to join Applejack. Damn...that was unexpected. “Ryan! What should I grab from here? I want something fast that can pack a punch!” Rainbow Dash called over to me. There I saw her with her two front hooves pressed up on the glass display case full of pistols. “Hmmm, how about this .357 revolver?” I suggested to her. “What do I look like to you, a redneck?” she said while looking pissed at me. “Ah heard that sugarcube!” Hmmm...my eyes traveled the semi auto handguns down their assembly line. Sigs, Hk’s, FN’s, Glocks, Berettas, Colts.....My eyes trailed back the HK pistols. The Hk USP .45 seemed like a great choice for her. “I want two for my thigh holsters.” she said demandingly. The brand new USP’s came with 4 magazines each, which she preloaded into her vest. “I make these HK pistols about 20 percent cooler then what they are.” There she goes boasting again. “I think you make them look 200 perecent coolee..if you ask me.” I said expecting a reaction from her. She gave me a playful punch to my shoulder as she led me to the rifles on display. We countinued on to the rifle wall. “What can give me alot of firepower without having to reload for awhile?” She asked me while looking at the rifles. My eyes scrolled down the line of rifles. Let’s see, Ar-15’s, Ak-74’s, 47’s, galil’s, bolt actions....Aha! The FN FSP90! What a great match for her. With 50 round clear double stacked magazines, the ability to carry alot of rounds, a built in optical sight with backups on top, a three point sling already mounted, and a round that has a punch of a rifle. Yep, this is the gun for her. Her pointed hoove can reach the trigger with relative ease, since it was a bullpup trigger. “Ah thanks man!” She aimed at a mirror with her newly aquired weapon. Ok, she’s out of the way. Pinkie Pie was next in line. “Give me something big and LOUD!” She said with her face pressed up against the glass plane. This is too obvious, the IMI Desert Eagle in .50 AE. She threw a few preloaded mags in her mag pack. ”Ooo! Ooo! I want something that will scare the baddies away! I dont care if it kicks like a mule!” She exclaimed while bouncing down the rifle aisle. Hmmm....Fn Fal, G3, M14’s....Ah, the Kel-Tec RFB! I would orginally chose the FN FAL for her, but the length would have been an issue for her size. Hey, she’s Pinkie Pie, she’s bold. After all, she’s a party chick. “Oh goodie!” Ok, next was Applejack. “Ah want somethin’ simple that can work like ah workhorse.” Well, the .44 colt python seemed like a great choice for her. “Ah gotta pick up one of t’ese for mah big brother, thanks sugarcube.” She holstered the shiny revolver with moonclips in her cowboy styled holster. She placed the remaining loose rounds in her leather belt. “Hey! What’s that over there?” She pointed to the shotgun rack. Her eye caught a lever action 1887 12 gauge reproduction copy. She worked the action with her hoof, as it was a customized breech bolt. She wore two shotgun bandoleers crossing her chest. “Thanks sugarcube.” Fluttershy was next. ”Um....nothing too intimidating...but something that will stop the bay guys.” Hmm....oh perfect. A Ruger LCP in 9mm with pink grips. “Oh...it’s nice” Fluttershy said while tampering with the slide. We continued together to the rifle aisle. “Nothing with alot of recoil... something like the MSAR...if you dont mind.” “Not at all” I said in response to her which made her glee. I found an IMI civilian UZI in the rifle section, as I presented the piece to her. I showed her how to work the action and release. “That will do...thanks Ryan.” That’s one thing I really liked about Fluttershy, she was never picky about simple things. Twilight was next. “I could...go for something intricate.” I though of the FN FS2000 for her. Large bullpup with alot of parts. “Hey...I like it.” She said while looking up to me, as I showed her a manual for the rifle. She skimmed the rifle manual on operation and maintenance. “Now for a side arm that goes along.” I showed her the Beretta 92FS. She seemed like she was more into the manuals then the actual guns themselves, as she read every little detail down to the springs and pins. Last but not the very least, Rarity. “Darling, what would an elegant lady like myself should choose as her personal defense weapon?” Hmmm...elegant... but something that works as well. Ah...the nickle plated colt 1911 with laser engravings and a pearl grip. “It...is...fabulous!” Rarity claimed while staring at the masterpiece in her hooves. Rarity posed in front of the mirror as she grabbed some magazines for the 1911. “Hm...What would you propose next?” she asked me since she had limited experience with firearms. I looked over to the rifle that was on display under the light beam that I first saw in the plexiglass. It was an extremely rare Century Arms FAMAS, a real ‘rarity’ for the most hardcore firearm enthusiast or gun collector. I went over to look at the price tag of the thing, it read “NIB $25,000” $25,000! Dear god! I walked her over to the expensive rifle. “Ok Rarity, feast your eyes on this bad boy. This is called a FAMAS, only 200 or so were imported in the United States. They were overpriced at the time and profits couldnt be made by the company, so they stopped importing them. This thing is worth more that some of the rarest diamonds found on earth. I think no one in the world is more deserving of this rifle than you, sweetheart.” “Ohhh....thank you! thank you! thank you! But....how does it work darling?” She said after her little moment of joy. I showed her the manual of the rifle and all of its functions. As she reached for the rifle, a door opened in the back of the shop. Bars slammed over the entrance of the shop trapping us in. A formal human peered from the back, aiming a outdated WW2 panzerfaust directly at us. Miguel must have did something illegal to obtain something like this from the back of the shop area. Rainbow dash was the first to respond to the scene, as she unload four rounds into the chest of this monster. The monster fell over as he almost landed on the trigger of the panzerfaust, as I ran over to it to make sure it wouldn’t go off. There was a pressure switch where the room from the monster emerged from, as Applejack pushed it gently. This opened the garage where a grey fat slob emerged from, as this one was unique to all the other fat slobs we encountered. I grabbed the panzerfaust from the dead formal humans hands and launched a rocket right behind it. The sharpnel did some major damage, but it still attemped to lift its fireball cannons at us. We all fired at the grizzly thing as it collapsed at the floor. All of the girls now had a good feel for their weapons from this encounter, as the monster fell to the floor in a pool of its own blood. More medical supplies were found as well as body armor in a boxed container, where the girls decided to slip the armor under their vests. We were all starving by this point....but we had to move on. “Well come back to the MRE’s once I know this city is cleared from the monsters. If we eat now, we will let our guard down.” I told the group while a garage door opened on it's own. They all looked at each other, but silently agreed. We made our way to the right of the garage. We followed the path among the streets and took a right turn, which lead us strait into a fence blocking the road. To the left of the fence was a bunch of bricks knocked down revealing a open pathway to cross the fence. We heard a snarling from thin air, as a brown humanoid appeared from nowhere and launched a fireball at Rarity. Rarity dolphin dived to the ground, and shot the humanoid in the chest. “First it’s those pink demons...and now the brown humanoids?” I said aloud in disbelief. The invisible brown humanoids were more of a threat then the pink demons to us. They were more stealthy and quiet. The only time you could see one is when it launched a fireball at you, or tried to swing its claws at you in close quarters. We made our way to the right of the otherside of the fence, toward a metallic candle next to a grave marker. We contined to the back of a house shed only to behold a gory scene. A bloodied gigantic saw blade spun in the back of this shed, while another one of our search party members laid dead on a table. Human gibblets littered the floor. There was nothing else to see here as we moved on to the right of the shed and back into the streets. We tried the 1st building to the right as it appeared to be a tavern. An invisible formal human with a shotgun clumisly aimed right aboved our heads and fired off a shell. Twilight was first to respond, and sqeezed off two rounds into its chest. Another search party member laid dead on the floor of the tavern, with a empty gap from a shotgun blast from the formal human we just terminated. We made our right to the bar of the tavern as it lead us to a narrow hallway, where a shadow figure readied itself in a attack stance. Flutttershy took this one down. We made our way though the bartenders door as I saw a pressure switch on the other side. I had a feeling this was going to be another one of those traps, as we wern’t having much luck with these things lately. A bunch of brown invisible humanoids hissed and alerted others to our presence behind the bar. The five of us fired blindly at the hissing while Applejack readied her 1887 at the bar’s door. A brown humanoid opened the bar door as Applejack pulled the trigger of her 1887, sending the humanoid flying backwards. We made our way to the newly opened right door which revealed another demonic stone switch. I pressed it and we moved back to the taverns main door. Twelve or so formal humans awaited outside and fired their shotguns at us, where I immediately slammed the tavern door shut. Pellets from the shotgun blast became lodged inside the door while the girls stood to the left of me, away from the doors entrance. The door was thankfully thick enough to take the blast from a distance, as i heard more infighting comming from the outside. When the firefight cleared itself from the outside, only two formal humans remained standing. Pinkie Pie and I took them out. We made our way down the streets to the left of the tavern, as we passed a graveyard before the street turned left yet again. We stopped at a three way intersection as I noticed another alive poor soul dangling to break free from another street light. We decided to go left this time around instead of going strait on the streets. Four shadow figures launched their fireballs in our direction while all of us unloaded in their direction, forcing us all to reload. We sprinted forward on the street to a building with a caved in wall, revealing a large entryway. Another mutilated corpse hung from a streetlight while another poor alive soul hung from an metal arc. I swung my body over the brick rubble into the opening of the building, where a normal fat slob arouse from the ground. The girls ducked on the outside of the entryway while I ran to my right inside. The flat slob was after me, while it sluggishly shifted it’s fat feet and rose its flame cannons in my direction. The mane 6 rose and pointed their weapons to the side of the fat slob and opened fired. The fat slob tumbled sideways as bullet holes filled its entire right side. We continued onward to a door in the open room. Four brown humanoids awaited us as we advanced forwards open firing with our weapons. Raritys FAMAS experienced a jam, and handed the rifle to me in confusion. “What happened, darling?” She levitated the rifle to me. A shell casing doublefed in the chamber, as I removed the magazine and pulled the charging handle. The shell casing dropped downward as I inserted the mag back in the gun. “Doublefeed Rarity.Hey, shit happens”. I told her in response. We continued up the stairs and opened the wooden door to the second floor. A nice vantage point casted outward from a large gap in the wall, giving us a clear view of the city from the second floor. An old electrical throw switch stood before the second story viewport. An old dusty bookshelf was located to the left of the throw switch. Rainbow Dash threw the switch down, as it opened up to a room to the right of us. We saw the same alien looking tall demon back from the asylum labyrinth move toward us. It casted a firey magic spell from its body, targeting me, as a harmless yellow flame took me ablaze. The girls without hesitation fired opon the alien looking demon as it collapsed to the floor. Fluttershy looked over at me while my heart pounded in my chest. “Are you alright Ryan? It looks like you were lit on fire.” Fluttershy asked in worry and concern for my well being. “I...didn’t feel anything. Huh, weird.”I told her after I was set on fire by the alien demon. The final demonic skull switch rested on top of a bare metal floor from where the alien demon emerged from. I pressed it while something moved in the graveyard. We looked outside of the second floor as we heard a hiss comming from a brown humanoid. Applejack lead the way downstairs as she readied her 1887 shotgun. An invisible brown humanoid waited for us as she opened the door, revealing its tragic flaw as it hissed loudly. Applejack squeezed off a buckshot round almost severing the humanoid from the waist. Another invisble humanoid hissed loudly as Applejack aimed her 1887 from the hip and fired off into the direction, knocking it backwards. Several other brown humanoids launched their fireballs at us from a distance, as Pinkie pie and I rested our rifles on some masonry bricks and fired blindly at the direction of the fireballs. After the humanoid assault was over, we decided to investigate the movement in the graveyard. A dozen or so gravemarkers with headstones filled the graveyard. Some of the headstones were filled top to bottom with hieroglyphics. In the far mid section of the graveyard flashed a yellow key, that sat on a pillar with four human head impailed on poles at all four corners. I thought for a minute. This was definitely a trap, as Twilight reached with her hoove toward the yellow key. I placed my hand on her hoof and moved it away in time before she could grab the key. Twilight has to knock off this uncontrollable habit of doing things without thinking. “Hold on girls...this looks like a perfect set up to me. Dash, Flutters, Stay here. I have an idea. I want the rest of you girls to make your way to the view point to the second floor and to wait for us up there. You got it?” I told the girls while standing in front of the yellow key. “Right, sugarcube.” Applejack lead the way back to the second story of the building. The four of them awaited for us, peeking their heads in our direction. “Ok, this what were going to do. I want you girls to prepare your wings for flight. Flutters, make sure you have enough strength to support my weight. Dash, I want you to grab the key. We’re going to fly our way back though the viewpoint on the second floor, and hold off any monsters from up there. We have the advantage of height in this case.” I told the girls. “Um...what about our vests?” Fluttershy asked. Damn it, I forgot. They can't use their wings though their vests. I though of a solution. “Oh...right.” I took out the swiss army knife and cut slits on the back of Fluttershy’s and Rainbow Dash’s vest. Their wings spread out as they gave them a good test. “Hold this for me please.” Fluttershy handed me her Uzi.She prepared her wings for flight though the wing slots of the vest. She grappled me under my arms and took off from the ground with little resistance. Damn, These pegasi were strong as hell to support my weight with almost no trouble. “Ok, get ready...on my word.....NOW!” Dash grabbed the key while 20 or so invisble brown humanoid hisses rattled the air around us. Both girls sprung off the ground and flapped their wings with speed. Fireballs flew around us as I ascended off the ground aiming both my MSAR and Fluttershy’s Uzi toward the hissing sound. I fired while in mid air while Fluttershy focused on the direction of flight of Rainbow dash. A heat seeking missle launched from a brown skeleton trailed right behind us. Dash dived into the narrow slot of the viewport while Flutters shifted sideways as we made our entry. The homing missle hit a streetlight, knocking it over and taking out a few invisible brown humanoids. “Ok, Pinkie and Applejack, I want you to aim your weapons down the flight of stairs. Make sure your prone so that you make a small target to them.” I told the two. “Gotcha sugarcube.”They ran out the doorway and proned themselves on top of the landing, with their muzzles pointing down the stairs. “The four of us are going to blindfire into the crowd. Point your rifles over the masonry blocks and squeeze the trigger as fast as you can until you are dry. Reload and repeat until you can't hear anymore of those monsters down there. Got it?” They all nodded and leaned their rifles over the edge of the blocks. We all fired in synchronization, creating a hail of lead trailing into the monsters. More infighting occured as three rockets landed into the backs of the 8 foot tall goat things, pissing them off and clawing at the brown skeletons. The skeletons hopelessly punched the goats while one of the goats fell, the remaining skeletons where all ripped apart by the strong beasts. Three fat slobs aimed their fireball cannons at the viewport, hitting some invisible brown humanoids in the process. Five humanoids surrounded a fat slob and clawed it to death. Others were incinerated by it's flame cannons. We heard gunshots comming from the landing outside the door, as Pinkie Pie and Applejack had company. Pinkie Pie wailed as it sounded like a fireball exploded from upstairs. “Shit! Twilight, go to Pinkie ASAP.” Twilight ran to open the door without responding and dragged Pinkie in the room with us. Twilight opened the medkit and tore off the burnt kevlar vest she was wearing. The armor took most of the impact from a exploding fireball, but she suffered 2nd degree burns from the side of her left arm and waist area. As Twilight worked on Pinkie, the infighting started to quiet from the outside. A few snarls as Applejack unloaded her 1887 from the other room while we finnished off our 4th magazines. Minutes later, the atmosphere became dead quiet. Smoke from the infighting trailed up to the sky, as the snarling of some brown humanoids sounded off in the distance. Only four monsters remained a threat to us in the open city. They were finnished off by me as we made our way back to Miguel’s store. We were all exhausted from the intense running and fighting. “My hooves are getting positively pruney from all this fighting, and my tummy grumbles for attention.” Rarity complained. “I'm getting pretty hungry myself from this workout.” Rainbow Dash stated. “I...can go for something to eat.” Fluttershy quietly said to me. “I could go for some sleep after I get something in my system.” Twilight said. “Ah sure can use a nice golden delicious right ‘bout now”. Applejack told us in a strong accent. “My tummy needs attention! ” Pinkie said quickly. It was clear that all of the girls were worn out from so much fighting, and It was finally time to settle down and eat. The monsters thoughout the city were slaughtered by us, as I though about settling down. I made a small speech to the girls. “Ok girls, you all performed above average in your combat skills, and I agree it’s time to finally settle down. We will make this place our place of rest, since it’s safe from the lower ground. A final task for you girls before we all can get something to eat and some rest. Twilight and Pinkie, I want you both to go back to the tavern and grab six pairs of empty beer bottles and glass mugs. Ill explain why later. Applejack and Rainbow Dash, your going to travel with me back to Miguels for the cases of MRE’s. Rarity and Fluttershy, go to the burnt house and grab as many pillows and blankets as possible. If you can, try to bring the mattress as well....Ok, let’s go.” We made a pile of our weapons and dropped off our backpacks near the bookself. We carried our sidearms with us in case something happens. I walked with Applejack and Dash back to Miguels. I grabbed a water filter for all of us and some military paracord for myself. Applejack and Rainbow Dash talked to one another, wondering what possible meals that they were going to have, as none of the girls ever had MRE’s before. I told them to wait until everyone was regrouped to open up the cases of MRE’s. Rarity and Fluttershy piled up as many sheets, blankets, and pillows they could find and hauled them back into the second floor. Twilight and Pinkie Pie grabbed two cardboard boxes, and loaded up as many beer bottles and glass pitchers as they possibly could. They carried them away to the second floor. I walked back alone to a recessed mutilated corpse hanging from a metal arc, and sawed the rope down from which the corpse was hanging with. I undid the ropes around the corpses hands as the body hit the hard earth. I ravaled the bloodied rope around my arms while...familiar whispering entered the air around me. I experienced a cold sweat as it got louder. The mutilated corpse grabbed my ankles while the whispers turned into demonic laughter. I shook my head and glanced back at corpse, realizing it was just a hallucination. The corpse remained the same as it was on the ground. I walked down the street to the same flaming barrel we first saw, with now only small flames inside. I tied a lasso knot that I’ve learned from Applejack from Apple Acre farms, and lasso’ed the barrel. I dragged it back on the street while it made a loud screeching sound. All of the girls looked outward from the second story, waiting for me impatiently as they thought about their meals. I threw the rope over the second story and told the girls to haul the flaming barrel upwards toward them, While I asked for the glass pitchers. Twilight levitated the glass pitchers downwards to me. I jogged to a nearby water pump outside of the tavern and filled them all with water. I carried the water pitchers back up to them. In the second story of the building, we now had a flamming barrel for warmth, a large queen sized mattrice complete with bedding, two cases of MRE’s that contained 24 meals together, empty beer bottles and water filled pitchers used for drinking, and the paracord I would use after we were done eating. The girls hustled around the MRE cases as I made my way toward them. “Ok girls, moment of truth.” We carried the two cases of MRE’s and dropped them near the burning barrel. I took out my swiss army knife and opened both cases while the girls looked over my sholder. They were in luck, mostly vegetarian MRE’s and a few MRE’s with meat content for myself. I distributed a Vegetable lasagna MRE, Spicy Penne Pasta MRE, Cheese Toutellini MRE, Ratatouille MRE, Veggie burger MRE, Vegetable Chili MRE. I kept one Chili Mac MRE for myself. The girls traded for their favorite meals with one another. They tore open the MRE packages while they dumped the contents in front of them. I showed them how to use the flameless ration heaters with their main meals, and told them they could eat the side dishes in the meantime. They sure loved those MRE’s, as they never knew how a meal could taste so good after going on for so long to eat. Pinkie pie tore open a packet of cookies and hastily munched on all of them. Applejack opened a packet of cranberry applesauce and spooned it in her mouth. Fluttershy opened a packet of vegetable crackers with jelly on top and quietly smiled to me while she ate. Rarity opened a wet pack of fruit and delicately ate it while savoring the flavor. Rainbow dash was a sucker for the wheat snack bread with cheese. Twilight munched on a chocolate flavored toaster pastry. I loved the wheat snack bread with jelly, as I could tell the girls were all enjoying the food with every bite. I grabbed 7 books from the bookshelf and handed them to all the girls, to prop up the heaters on an angle (or something). They followed the instructions with the flameless ration heater. They mixed the filtered water with their mixing drink packets and drank it down. We sat in a circle around the flame barrel as we ate our side dishes. We exchanged stories and laughed at each others jokes, while we waited for the heaters to warm up our main meals. Rainbow Dash wanted to know about my arrival in Equestria after we all settled down. "So Ryan, tell us, how did you end up in Equestria after all?” Rainbow dashed asked while the girls attention diverted to me. “Well ladies, it all started with that one faithful day. A portal to your world that opened in my closet. I was stunned by the sudden vortex to your land. Curiousity got the best of me, as I reached out to a few groups of humans on the internet that could keep this secret. If I were to tell the whole world about the portal, things would have gotten out of hand in Equestria. Goverments would have attempted to invade Equestria, and would probably tried to take control over everything in your land. I requested that Celestia would make a test to sort out the humans, for only the pure hearted souls to live within Equestria. My Earth had too much corruption and demented human beings. The sad thing was...how many people were too afraid, or were either too conformed with their short lives to make their world a better place to live in. It was a stuggle for survival everyday just to bring back a paycheck back home. I...couldn’t take it anymore. I moved most of my belongings to Equestria, with only a few of my family members comming along to escape from the stress of everday life. I really...didnt’t have any close or true friends to begin with...I chose to leave them behind on Earth. As the final human made it though the portal, I brought a few cans of gasoline and dowsed my house. I threw a match in my gasoline dowsed house, so that the house could burn to the ground. I made sure no one else could go though that portal. I never hated human kind or the Earth. The earth and mother nature was a beautiful place, but the self destruction of humanity was too easily forseen by me, as I knew I had to escape it. I can’t tell you how many times in recorded human history how humans had to start from strach over and over again. That’s why a few thousand or so lucky human souls exist in Equestria as we speak, so we promised ourselves that we would never make the same mistakes ever again on Earth. Trust me when I say this girls, your so called villans like Discord or Queen Chrysalis, that co-exist in Equestria are extremely minor to the problems that humanity faced day to day. I moved to here for a new way of life, and I don’t regret anything....” My story was interrupted abruptly by Pinkie Pie. “The meals should be done right about now.” Pinkie pie told the group, as she had an internal clock going on in her mind from all the baking experience she had. The girls and I tore open the main meal packages while we used our spoons to dish out the food. Rainbow dash tore open a bun package for her veggie burger. We all sat in a circle savoring our meals, since the lack of nutrients was growing on us. It never felt so good to have a hot meal in your stomach. After we were done devoring our MRE’s and were done drinking, I grabbed the glass bottles and the paracord to the outer landing of the second story. I pulled my swiss army knife out to cut small sections of the paracord to the width of the staircase. Rarity and Applejack where dusting out the blankets from the viewport while Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash fluffed out the pillows. Twilight Sparkle came out to observe what I was doing on the landing. “What are ya doing here?” Twilight Sparkle asked while looking down at the components I had. “Im making an improvised security system for all of us, so that we can sleep well tonight.”I told her while I measured the width of the stairs. “How do you propose to do that?” She asked again. “Well...I’m going to tie this paracord to the necks of the beer bottles, parallel from each other. They will sit on the opposite sides from the stairs. This is a very primitive but effective security alarm system. When the beer bottles are dragged or dropped, they make alot of noise.” I explained to her. She though about my contraption for a minute. “Ohhh I see, so when someone trips over the paracord...they drag the beer bottles with them making attracting noise.” She figured out on her own. “Exactly, that noise should wake us up in time and give us a chance to prepare for whatever is comming our way.” I said in response. “Hmmm...tricky.” Twilight stated as she tested one of my improvised alarm systems with one of her hooves. After all of the beer bottle traps were in place, we finally started to wind down in bed. We moved the queen sized mattrice into the room with the demonic skull switch that illuminated the room. I broke open another glowstick package and gave it a good shook, while the other girls stared in awe. I hung the glowstick over a brick from within the room, so that we could have another night light. I made the bed with Rarity, while the girls waited impatiently to dive in. Since my chest was wide while being the largest one, I took up space in the middle of the bed. Rarity snuck in to the left of me, while Fluttershy crawled in at the right. Twilight was to the left to Rarity laying on her side. Pinkie was to the right of Fluttershy, sleeping with her face buried into her pillow. Applejack and Rainbow Dash laid on the edge of the bed, with Applejacks hat covering her eyes while Dash laid with her arms tucked outward behind her head. Rarity snuggled to the left of my chest with her muzzle, while placing her hoof over my front waist. This threw me off as I looked over to her. “Darling, you are most absolutely a great source of warmth....” She said to me with her semi closed eyes. “Why...thanks...” I told her, really not knowing what to say. I turned my head to the right over to Fluttershy, who was hogging up the right side of my body with hers. Her hoof was over my chest, hugging me closer than Rarity to her direction. Under the covers, she crossed her legs with my right. I...really enjoyed this moment in time, and wished it never ended. ”Your very...warm...and cozy.” She said softly while she rested her head on my right shoulder, as she contently peered into my eyes. She completely trusted me while I wrapped my right arm around her waist, underneathe the covers. She shitfted herself closer to my body. “Good night...honey” she said while moving to the direction of my lips. I was prepared a little bit more this time around for this kiss. “Good night...Fluttershy.” I whispered softly back to her. The low bass of my voice was soothing her as she got more confortable. The heaviness of my eyes overcame me, as I entered the land of dreams. In my dreams, we were all located just outside of the second story of this faded city. Twilight reached something in her pack that looked like three skulls, that were placed inside the sockets of a wall. I went over to the right of the sockets to touch something that looked like an elongated hieroglyphic. It blazed a firey red while I placed my hand over it, seperating me with bars from the group of girls. The ground ,as I looked back to them while they desperately tried to get me out, started to shift below my feet. The ground started to lower as Fluttershy reached her hoof toward me, as I attempted to grab it to no avail. I was lowered deep within the earth, to a maze of rusted metallic rooms. A tall figure awaited for me that was sharpening something. The figure had a bloostained brown apron, leather boots, and a large upper figure. The heads of some of Celestia’s royal guards with the heads of the squad members hung from their tendons from this figures belt, with horrorifying expressions on their faces before they were gruesomely murdered. The figure slowly spun around when.... “Ryan...oh...Ryan....could you get up with me?....I want to take a walk....and maybe find a bathroom." ” Fluttershy gently whispered into my right ear. Her voice woke me up back into reality, from that dreadful nightmare.I lifted my head upwards and responded to her. “Alright...Let’s leave under the bed the covers so we don’t disturb the girls.” The rest of the girls were in a deep sleep, and it wouldn’t be right to wake them up. Fluttershy and I crawled our way out from the end of the bed, as well as carefully placing our footsteps to not knock over any of the traps. I took a fresh breathe of air as I looked up, with the odd dark weather patterns remained unchanged as previously before. We walked in the street, located in front of the second story viewport. I glanced to the left to the same building that had three skull slots. Fluttershy went behind an alleyway and returned back to me, patiently waiting for her. She ran back over to me, with a question. I guess she though it was appropriate for the time being. We walked onward. “Ryan....do you...love me?” She asked in uncertainty. She stood on her back hooves facing me. I was thrown off by her sudden question. I sighed to myself....It was about time I revealed my feelings toward her. “Fluttershy, from what I have observed from all the ponies in Equestria, you and I share the strongest bond together. You have unique inner beauty...with a touch of innocence. Your heart is deemed with kindness with a warm personality, that is unmatched with anyone elses that I’ve ever found in my life time....Yes, Fluttershy, I do love you...” She was deeply moved from what I said to her, as her female drive took over herself. She trotted on her hind legs and grabbed me close for an agressive kiss. She grabbed me with open arms as I supported my hands around her body. My hands were placed behind her head and back side, as I deeply kissed her under a flickering streetlight. I rubbed my hands all over her soft body as I ran my hand down to her cutie mark. This excited her as she hugged me tighter, while our lips connected deeper. Our tounges connected to each other. For being a shy girl, she sure did know how to express true love. You know what they say about the shy ones..... Our lips were drawn away after a good solid 5 minutes, as she drew her head onto my right shoulder as we walked back. For after all of these long years....I felt...so isolated...so...unloved...back on Earth...I finally found the innocence I sought after in my life. This changed everything from within myself. I found....inner peace. She hugged me tightly as we made our way back to the girls on the second story..... //-------------------------------------------------------// This Hospital is...Alive? //-------------------------------------------------------// This Hospital is...Alive? Some of them were awake by the time we made it back from the streets, and were opening their second MRE for breakfast. Pinkie Pie and Twilight still remained sleeping on the mattrice. “We’ve you two been?” Rainbow Dash asked while we both entered. “Oh...just for a little walk Dash.” Fluttershy responded while she looked at me with a warm smile. After the other two girls got up and ate their breakfast, it was time to move on. Twilight read while eating breakfast from an old dusty book, about opening a portal to possibly get back home. She required three skulls that represented righteousness, a saphire skull of enlightment, a ruby skull of purity, and a yellow topaz skull of harmony. Once all of the skulls were in place, a path revealing your way back home will come true to you. We had no choice but to travel back to the main hall of the serial killers house. Once we were there, we were forced to try the remaining second floor, as much as we didn’t want to. We walked into a bathroom where a brown skeleton stood in a bathtub stationary in the reflection of the mirror. “Alright girls, get ready to flank the skeleton in 3..2..1.” Applejack threw around her 1887 and pointed it to the tub, as we peered in and saw nothing there. We looked back to the mirror, only to see a brick wall in place of the mirror. A white skull switch was in place of the skeleton, as I stepped through rotten flesh as I activated the switch. A portion to the left of the bathroom wall moved as we looked inward. It...looked like a watery tunnel of living intestines that could suck you in....f you stood too close to the tunnel. I reached inward, as all seven of us were sucked in. We awoke all on a operating table, as formal humans and a brown humanoid awaited for us to wake up. The monsters were completely inanimate and stationary as we pointed our weapons to the monsters, waiting for movement. A couple of seconds later they started to move as we unleashed a hail of lead into them. As a pink demon charged at us from down the hall. Pinkie pie shot off two rounds from her RFB as the pink demon dropped. This was...a living...breathing hospital of some sort. The walls were pink in flesh while the room was combinated with old hospital technology. We made our way down the hall where we encountered more brown humanoids that were gunned down by us. We were surprised by a pink demon emerging from a medical supply room, as Applejack blew half of its skull off with her 1887. All of us continued to a door to our left to reveal a waiting room for hospital guests. A formal human and brown humanoid had their backs turned away from the door, as Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash unloaded a few rounds into them. Nothing else of much use was in here as we continued down the hall. We made our way to the left a few of so brown humanoids were alerted, where the right side of the hall shifted down and more humanoids and a red blob emerged out of a living wall. Infighting occured when a electro-static ball hit a humanoid in the back where the 4 of them started to claw at the blob. It deflated after gnawling on two of the humanoids while we cleared the rest of the room. We traveled into a receptionist room. We could see two of those chainsaw weilding possessed humans waiting at the front glass of the reception room. Applejack flipped a eletronic switch within the room that alerted more humanoids and chainsaw possessed humans down the hallway. The reception room had a opened window where we fired into the advancing group. A door opened outside the reception room that revealed more humanoids and one of those basketball sized blue soul spheres, that was blocked with a wire mesh with a small gaping hole. Twilight used her levitation magic to draw the soulsphere closer to us. I grabbed the soulsphere mid air, where it rolled out of my hands and toward Pinkie Pie’s direction. The soul sphere must have sensed Pinkie Pie’s burn marks as it collided into her. The rest of us ran over to her as she laid on the floor with her body twiching from the rush. Her veins illuminated a blue light, while she had an ear to ear smile. “Pinkie! Are you alrig...”Twilight attempted to say as Pinkie somersaulted off of the ground. ”Weeee! let’s go kick some demon ass!” She wailed in joy to us. She grabbed her RFB as she darted down the hallway to the left of the soulsphere room. We chased after her and regrouped within minutes. Another wall opened to reveal 5 more humanoids and a goat thing adavancing toward us. Two of the humanoids were taken out by the goat thing, as we fired our remaining mags into it, also transitioning to the humanoids. We all reloaded in unison and continued to the right hall. We continued to the left of us which lead us into a patient room. The patient room had streched out skin seperating the beds from one another as two spectre demons caught us by surprise. Applejack and Pinkie took out the demons as we moved onward to a left door in the patient room. A demonic skull switch awaited as I pressed it, where a goat thing roared from behind us. We made our way back to the hallways where a brown skeleton emerged from a metal broken door. Dash took it out with 6 well placed rounds to the head. A door requiring a red colored key passed us as we went back to the receptionist waiting area, where the chainsaw possessed humans waited for us. We took them out with a few brown humanoids. Another wall opened to reveal more humanoids with two brown skeletons. A few misplaced rockets from the skeletons took out a small portion of the humanoids as we executed the rest of the crowd. A unique red blood demon launched a corrosive blood ball and splashed to the side of the wall, hitting Rarity's colt 1911. She looked down to see some of the engravings melted off as she had a deranged look on her face, facing back at the demon. “Oh it is ON!” She said while charging at the demon with her FAMAS. She squeezed three rounds off and did a roundhouse kick into the demons face, making it fly backwards. “No monster shall ever touch a prized piece of mine!” Rarity said while femininely stepping over the demons corpse. We followed her into the fleshly new room. It revealed a room with corpses and more body armor, which Pinkie Pie wore under her vest. We jogged back to reveal a brown skeleton with two bony humanoids launching their yellow fireballs at us, only to hit the skeleton from behind. The skeleton socked a bony humanoid while it collasped as Fluttershy and Twilight took out the other two monsters. We opened a door to the right of the fleshy room to reveal another chainsaw possessed human and bony humanoid that were easily taken out. This room was odd...It had a row of human teeth sticking out of the walls along with a fleshy spinal column which moved on its own, other than that there was nothing else of interest. We moved ourselves onward to the end of the long hallway, where another fleshy room opened up with a red blob and two brown skeleton on a fleshy platform. The red blob floated toward us in the line of fire of the skeletons rockets, which crashed in the back of the blob. After the small skirmish between the skeletons and the blob, only one skeleton remained standing, which Pinkie pursued with two 7.62 rounds into its chest. A wooden door laid at the end of the fleshy room as it revealed another hallway lit with metallic candles. As we reached for the end of the hallway to another wooden door, a bright flash overcame us as we were moved back to the beginning of the hallway. We attempted to reach the door again while the hallway’s walls collapsed on each side, revealing two larger fleshy rooms littered with monsters. The girls took cover to the stone masonry of the walls while I darted to the left. Conflict and infighting occured within the groups of monsters, while the other monsters intented to reach the girls in the hall. Two goat things waited while I ducked as a brown humanoids fireball barely missed my head from behind. The goats now focused their enegy on the groups of humanoids from above. An eyeball switch that...looked like a vagina...revealed itself as my arm bumped into it. I ran back over to the girls and traveled to the next door. I covered the girls with my MSAR, as they made their way into the next doorway in the hall. We faced a half opened broken metal door while running under the entryway. Two brown humanoids faced the wall, while Rainbow Dash and Twilight disposed of them quickly. I attempted to open the wooden door to the right of us only to reveal a brick wall. Rarity made her way back to the broken metal door which slammed on us, trapping us in this room. “Girls, get together.” I said. We made a circular perimeter. To the right of the brick wall door a fat slob growled lowly and raised its flame cannons at us. We all opened fired on the slob while it collapsed from its wounds. Entering the room that the fat slob contained was another wooden door to the left of us, as I persued to open it. Another one of those unique blood demons charged at us while another red blob proceed to launch a static ball at us. They were both outnumbered by the sheer lead we discharged at them. All of us proceeded down to a narrow hallway of flesh, to a brown humanoid guarding a red key. After Fluttershy finnished off the humanoid with her Uzi, I told Dash to grab the red key, and for all of us to make a run for it. As Dash grabbed the key like a hurdle relay, we sprinted backwards as a group of monsters hollered at our presense. A brown skeleton blocked our path with Applejack used her 1887 to make the monster go flying backwards. I charged like a football player into another brown skeleton blocking our path, while it swung at me with it's bony fist, knocking it over to buy the girls time. I regrouped with the girls as Pinkie took out another brown skeleton down the ambushed hallway, now littered with corpses in the fleshy rooms. We made our way to a new doorway at the end of the receptionist waiting area, to bring us back into a clone room of the second story’s bathroom, from the serial killers house. We reached out to the watery tunnel, which sucked us back to the original bathroom. We made our way back down the stairs, where we were located back in the main hall of the house. I looked down the narrow hallway that emitted low frequencies, and saw that the opposing locked door was finally open.I was fearful of the frequencies that might affect the girls, so I made up a plan on the spot. “Girls, I want you all to cover your ears with your hooves as we sprint down this hall. I have no idea what the long term effects of these frequencies would do to us. I’ll lead the way.” I shouldered my rifle as the girls did the same. They all stood on their back hooves and nodded to me for the signal to run. I nodded back to them as we dashed down the hallway into the open room. There inside this room laid anothe dead search party member, with his human entrails scattered all over the floor. To the right of this room was a broken metal door while to the left was a wooden door. We made our way to the wooden door, which revealed a cluster of metal bars with red, yellow, and blue colored keyholes blocking our path. After vigorisly spending 30 minutes unlocking these bars with our corresponding keys we found, we found a similar stair case path descending downwards...like how we first ended up in this nightmare. I threw a glowstick which bounced it’s way downward, with its ambient green light dissappearing as it descended. “Oh dear, not this...again.” Fluttershy said in recognition, as she realized the similarities of our first descent into the cell. We made our way down, to what seemed like the longest staircase I’ve ever traveled. We must have traveled at least 30 minutes walking down together. My glowstick laid near a metallic candle revealing a wooden gargoyle door in front of us. As I turned the old styled doorknob, I saw a flashing glimpse of the figure in my dreams within a split second. I was in...a familiar place. It felt like I’ve been in this catacomb of a room before...as I can’t recall how. The whispering returned sounding above my head as we cautiously walked forward. A pair of wooden frames laid on the floor leading us to a broken metal door, which Rainbow tried opening with no luck..... //-------------------------------------------------------// We remain together in the end //-------------------------------------------------------// We remain together in the end We made our way back onto the streets of the faded city for the last time, and jogged all the way back to the outside of the building of the second story viewpoint. We looked to the right of the building, where three missing open skull sockets were imprinted on the wall. This...all looks too familiar from my dreams. I remembered the warning signs from my dream and moved on as Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and I placed our skulls in corresponding place according to Twilight. “Now the final part of the ritual, for someone that leads the elements of harmony to place their hand over the hieroglyphic. The portal will remain open for about a minute” She stated to the group. She quoted text from the book that contained instruction on portal rituals. “All of the humans have fallen except for one.The true test is if to see the leader has protected the elements of harmony....that has defended the indiviuals from harms way..... that will lead the elements of harmony to back to safety....and he shall reveal the way back home....” Twilight recalled from memory to the group. The prophecy she quoted was obviously talking about...me, as thoughout this journey I made sure the girls were safe from these wretched monsters. I stood in front of the ceramic doorway in this building, preparing to find this hieroglyphic so that we can all get back safely to Princess Celestia. I was looking forward to some good R&R. The three skulls glowed a ray of light as the door opened, and revealed a metallic candle illuminating a small room with two corpses that hung side by side. The hieroglyphic glowed brighter and brighter as I drew near it with every step. The girls looked behind as I drew near to the achient symbol. The hieroglyphic glowed a steady bright red as I attemped to place my hand over it. The hieroglyphic’s energy shot throughout me as a bright red orb crashed right behind the girls. A swirling vortex revealed the land of Equestria. I turned around to enter the portal only to see a set of four bars slam right in front of me. The girls looked in panic of the event... as the ground below my feet started to shift down into the earth. Fluttershy had a terrified expression as Twilight and Rarity attempted to use their magic to try to remove the bars. “RYAN! WE’RE NOT LEAVING WITHOUT YOU!” Fluttershy hollered to me. I looked up in hopelessness as the earth below my feet shifted down about five feet The girl's magic did not even slightly budge the bar even an inch. They couldn't wait for me... “GO GIRLS! MAKE YOUR WAY BACK HOME BEFORE THE PORTAL CLOSES!” I shouted back to the mane six. Twilight sparkle gasped as she knew I was right. “We...have to go before it’s too late girls...he’s right.” Twilight voiced with sorrow to the group. ”But darling! What about him! We can't just leave him down there!” Rarity expressed with shock. “GO! BEFORE ITS TOO LATE AND WERE ALL STUCK HERE FOREVER!” My voice echoed back to them. “NO! I WILL NOT LEAVE WITHOUT YOU! I...I REFUSE TOO!” Fluttershy cried back to me. Damn it, curse me god for putting me into this situation. “FLUTTERSHY, YOU WILL ALWAYS REMAIN IN MY HEART. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. GO BACK HOME WITH THE GIRLS! NOW!” I called back to her as the whispering returned to the loudest it has ever been in my head. I heard from a distance Rainbow Dash forcing Fluttershy to go into the portal with heavy resistance. I saw the beaconing light of the vortex close as I looked up... I was now sure...that there was now a zero chance of getting back into Equestria now. I squatted down ..wrapping around my arms around my eyes as I leaned my MSAR to the shifting earth. I was surely going to die...alone. Thoughts of suicide raced though my head. Maybe I...I could quicken my end...with my pistol. I’ve always prayed to myself that this day will never come, as I battled loneliness and depression throughout my life. I've always had a strong sense of will, but now it has completely...drained from me. I glanced at my Glock 19 as I withdrew it from my holster. I slowly...chambered a round...took a good look into the viewport of the slide...and pointed the muzzle under the base of my head. I was seconds from squeezing the trigger. I disengaged the safety on the safe action trigger... All of a sudden I was lowered into a dark room. I reholstered the Glock and stood up with the MSAR at level with my shoulder. I switched on my weapon light that I got back at Miguel's, to scan my new enviorment. The walls in this enviorment were completely made out of grittly cast iron that was rusting rapidly. The floor were made of dirty brown and white checkers. After giving a good 5 minute observation of this new enviorment, I head a mumbling from the position I’ve stood. I pointed the weapon light to the sound of a mumbling...to reveal the ugliest fucking thing I’ve ever seen in my life. It was...our perpetrator...our kidnapper...the fucking thing who attempted to eat my internals and god only knows do what to the mane 6. I will never forget the image of this...thing. It had the same leather crusted boots as I first saw in our cell. The same tattered filthy brown apron with dark crusted blood stains. I saw the heads of a few royal guards and some search party members, with their crudely severed heads hanging by their tendons with a horrifying expression before they were brutally murdered, tied to its belt. I t’s features were vagely human, with a giant gash that had crude rusted staples that revealed some muscle fibers and white bone. A pile of gorged maggots fell to the floor as the heads smacked each other. Other operation and blood stained butchery tools were hanging off the belt. The torso and shoulder area of this thing had small 5.56 wounds where black blood already clotted and dried up.It’s right arm was slightly bigger than it’s left. The left arm was grotestly shaped like an curving arc, grasping a royal guard crudely servered in half. Its right arm was massively muscular and deformed, while it had discolored two inch nails comming from the fingertips. A bone shard pierced is skin from the right collar bone. The facial features....god...they still haunt me in my dreams. Patches of cheeky flesh missing from its left side, where drool pored in a steady stream as you could see its human teeth. Its eyes were calloused from the lack of blinking, a cloudy white pair of eyes that shifted from the base of its small pointed nose. Its right part of the mouth was stapled crudely shut, but It could still open it to talk. It's right ear was curled up in a ball of deformity. The only thing that remained for a left ear is a earhole, where a fat fly would crawl in and exit at times. Patches of matted hair were missing from its head, revealing flakey bald spots. “My lttle pone...My lttel peaonwe...I wnder wtah feindspih could eb...” It mocked at me. “Just what the fuck are you?” I asked while I pointed my MSAR at its chest. It spoke within response in inaudiable speech patterns. “Em? Igh teh thgin tath chidren frea at nihgt...eth toingh taht eesh yuo ta bitrh wile yuo coem otu of yohr motters whom. Teerh wsa a lttile tloo sehd werhe he mdae us seuffr, sda stnaa...” What the fuck? “Ok, I heard enough from your mouth you filthy bastard.Your gonna pay for what you did to me...and my friends” I unloaded half of my MSAR mag into its chest while it charged at me with full force with it’s right arm extended to me outward. It knocked my MSAR out of my hand and choke slammed me into a wall. If it wasn’t for my backpack to absorb the impact of the wall, I would have been dead. I tried to undo its choke hold on me, while it grimly smiled directly to my face. I reached for it’s belt...and grabbed it's butcher cleaver. I cleaved a good chunk of it arm exposing the bone. “Awouth!” It cried as pitch black blood spewed out of the large wound. It dropped me to the ground while I ran picking up my MSAR in the process. I ran into the rusted labyrinth with my MSAR at bay. I spun around 180 degrees, and pointed my rifle into the direction of its thumping steps. It decieved me, while it charged at me to the right, knocking me over while I discharged rounds into the air. I picked myself up as a ran back into another room. Its echoing footsteps cracked to the right. I wasn’t going to fall for this shit again. I aimed my rifle at the thing as it charged at me from the left. I shot at its right knee...The rest of my ammunition in my rifle as now gone. It limped on the right knee slowly pursuing me with its butcher cleaver raised. I was forced to discard my rifle as I drew out my Glock 19 while taking a left in the maze of rooms. I found a metal broad spear laying on the floor in one of the rooms as I picked it up with my left hand, holding the Glock 19 in my right. The thing charged at me while I readied the spear as I squatted. I gave a good thrust with all of my strength into its stomach. It hesitated as the spear pierced halfway though its body, as I lay on the floor with my Glock 19 aimed. It slid forward reaching for me while I shot at it's head, unleasing a whole volley of 9mm hollow points dead center into its skull. The thing...dropped its cleaver while half of its head was blown apart by the 9mm hollow points. The thing rested on the spear like a triangle, with its legs strait on a 45 degree angle as the spear supported it the entire body with another 45 degrees. I kicked the cleaver away from its right arm across the room, and reholstered the Glock 19. It had to be dead. I started to make my way out of the room back to the opening of light from the outside. I looked back in horror as it did a push up from the ground. It clutched the spear with its right arm, pulled it out of its stomach and threw it down on the ground. I made my way to the butcher cleaver, as it charged at me with adrenaline pumping out of its wounds. I grabbed the cleaver as it rose its right arm above me. I swung as hard as I could at the base of the neck, hoping to severe it’s head. The cleaver got lodged in 95 percent though, as only a small muscle in its neck and some skin. The only thing still that was keeping its head attached to its body. The weight of the head leaning to its side was just enough weight for the head to detach from the body. Its body recieved post mortem spasms as it twiched on the ground. This thing was finally dead. I heard movement from the orginal area from where I descended from. I walked back to the platform, picking up my MSAR in the process. It started to rise as I saw a bright light protruding from the top of the Earth. As I finally made my way to the back of the top, I looked to the sky. The odd weather pattern dissolved into a bright healthy blue. For the first time in what seemed like years...I heard birds chirping as nature was slowing returning. The bodies that littered the streets dissolved into the atmosphere.... A vortex opened showing me the way back home to Equestria. I walked on though. Fluttershy was greiving from my disappearance. Her face was buried in the grass, while Angel tried to confort her. His ears pointed upwards, as he silently tugged Fluttershy’s mane and pointed to me. Fluttershy looked up and saw me as the portal closed right behind me. “Ry...RYAN!” She jumped up and galloped toward me with her wings fully spread apart. She collided into me with watery tears of joy, hugging me almost to the point where I couldn’t breathe while knocking me backwards in the process. Her friends walked over to the commotion and circled around me while I laid on a grassy knoll. She attacked my lips with an agressive kiss that lasted for five minutes, while I held her in my arms. Twilight told me to make our way back to Celestia's castle, where I was awaited by Celestia with information. We proceeded on a stone road, making our way up to Celestia castle while being bombarded by questions from the girls. “How...how did you make it back? The portal closed on us two days ago while the whole town of ponyville waited for you. Fluttershy litterally waited for you for two days strait.” Twilight announced to me as we walked. “That’s right Ryan. I was so worried...and depressed thinking that something horrible might have happened to you while you went down. Now I am sooo relieved to have you here back with us.” Fluttershy said with glee. “I had to drag her into the portal, that was a real pain” Rainbow dash stated to us. “If I could ask darling, what did you encounter down there?” Rarity asked. I froze in my tracks while the group stopped. I paused for a minute while the color drained from my face. “I...don’t want to talk about it...All I have to say is...your all safe now.” We finally made our way into Celestia throne room where she sat waiting for me. The mane six were lined up in a row behind me. “Oh Ryan, it’s an honor to have you join us again in Equestria.” Celestia said while she hugged me. I hugged her back and procedded to say. “Its a pleasure being back here, as all of us are glad...that nightmare is finally now over with,Celestia.” I never adressed Princess Celestia by your majesty or Princess, I just called her by her name, Celestia. She liked that for some reason. I guess living in royality was never her thing. “I, Princess Celestia, hereby decree that Ryan shall be immortalized in our history. The first bold brave human to step onto our land and save the elements of harmony, for all of you have bonded together thoughout your journey. To defeat true evil that made you all stronger as a whole. Ryan, your name will go down in Equestrian history as you are forever welcome here in our land. You proved to us that your race has potential, you still have yet to achieve. I hereby reward you with a life full of serenity and peace with the honors of you being the leader of the mane 6.” Two of the royal guards from the back of Celestia’s throne presented a golden tablet etched with a timeline of our journey. The whole town of Ponyville waited outside the castle’s main doors as the gave a loud cheer for us, mixed in with humans clapping and ponies cheering. I was lifted off the ground by the groups of people and ponies with Fluttershy back to her cottage. The sun settled off in the distance while I was dying to take a shower from the grime and filth. I stepped out afterwards to be rewarded with a good meal from Fluttershy. It was now nightime while I was exausted. I hopped into bed, with Fluttershy on my right side. She hugged my chest closely to her. “Promise... you will never leave me again.” She whispered as she looked up into my eyes. “I promise sweetheart.” She kissed my lips gently and buried her face into my chest. I looked up to the ceiling and proceeded to close my eyes...only to have the whispering return to me. The whispering penetrated my mind louder than ever....as my eyed remained glued open that long night... The end. //-------------------------------------------------------// I can see no Light from within this Abyss //-------------------------------------------------------// I can see no Light from within this Abyss As we turned our backs and shifted away from the door, the door opened on itself revealing the same cell that Fluttershy and I were held in, with only a new feature. A large gaping hole descending downwards. I dropped the glowstick as it defied gravity, just like in the well. I explained to the girls who wern’t familiar with this sequence on what to do, as Rarity prepared to jump into my arms again. We sprung forward as we descended downward. A quick flash of light appeared before my eyes, as I was isolated from the girls. I appeared within a new holding cell, as I called out to the girls. They all responded, and just to make sure, I asked if any of them were hurt. None of them claimed to be hurt. We had no idea how we were going to escape this time in our new cells. I peered to look out from the bars, to see those circular round levers near the entrances of the cells. Fluttershy was contained within a cell to my right as I saw Twilight within the cell to my left. I looked around of the features of the room of the outside of my cell. A large demonic stone door was opposite to our cells within this room while my eye caught something to the left. A red pressure switch with no way to press it from here. I withdrew my Glock 19 and aligned the sights dead center of the circle switch. I squeezed off a round while the bars around me collapsed to the ground. This opened Applejack’s cell to the left of me, as she galloped to pull the lever to the left cells containing Pinkie, Twilight and Rarity. I pulled the lever to the right to release the bars from Fluttershy’s and Dash’s holding cell. Fluttershy ran over to me and hugged me once more, as the sequence of levers activated the demon stone wall. The demon stone wall lowered itself into the metallic ground as a fat slob walked in to inspect the commotion. It raised its fireball launchers at us while we diverted to the left and right squeezing off rounds into the bloated beast. We went through the lowered demon stone wall and made our way to the left of a hallway, only to reveal another illiterate note laying on a metal bureau. I read it aloud to the group: I’ts olny aetfr w’eve lsot ervhetiyng Taht we are fere to do ayhinntg. Ok....moving on then. We made our way down a metal staircase to the left of the note. We jogged leftwards to reveal a long hallway luminated with metallic candles and mutilated corpses hanging behind recessed bars. At the end of the hallway was a white skull switch, only to reveal one of the largest monster encounters on this journey. We sprinted back the left of the hallway where we entered, and told the girls to go prone for when the monsters come. The sounds of electro-static balls, fireballs and rockets being launched, monsters screeching and clawing at one another, and shotguns discharging from formal humans into other monsters echoed down the hall toward us as we waited for the surviving monsters. A dozen brown humanoid remained standing as all of us finished off our mags into them. “Darling, it appears I ran out of ammo in my exclusive rifle. I'll be switching to my elegant sidearm.” Rarity annonced to me as she glanced to see she had no more preloaded mags in her vest. Twilight’s battle rifle ran dry as well. We paced outselves down the sharp corners of the hallway, glancing to the left of another cell with a dead search party member blasted from the formal human shotguns. We made our way to a few bars which blocked further access, as we descended down a flight of stairs. The same familar laughing woman stalked us yet again, as all of us looked toward the ceiling as we traveled down. Three fat slobs ascended from the ground, pointing and discharging their flame cannons at us. We strafed to the left and sprinted to a wooden door. Twilight opened with her magic as she lead us all inside. A metal broken door slammed behind us as Rarity barely made it inside. We were now in a long narrow hallway that was caked with blood. The floor was made from some kind of hard cartilage, with blood steaks that continued from each side of the walls. We had the option of taking the right or left door at the end of the hall. We chose to venture in the right wooden doorway. There inside was a demonic rumble from a formal human wearing body armor, and aimed a AT4 rocket launcher directly toward us. I made sure that it couldn’t discharge it’s rocke tlauncher at us, by squeezing a few rounds into its skull, as bone fragments traveled though the air. Twilight holstered her 92FS while picking up the AT4. “Save that rocket in case we really need it in the future.” I told her as she acquired her new weapon. “You got it.” Twilight responded to me. That leaves the 6 of use with firepower now, with one member only using her side arm. I feared for the ammo count of the rest of the group, as we cannot take these large group of monsters head on anymore. We needed more strategy. We made our way back to the hallway and to the left bloodied wooden door. The left door opened into another landing with metallic stairs desending downward, with another note on a wooden bureau. Twilight used her magic to examine the note as she attempted to read the illiterate writing aloud: If you strae itno the asybs lnog eonugh The asbys straes bcak at you. “Hey...I know that quote!” Twilight exclaimed to the group. “Well...what’s it from egghead?” Rainbow Dash asked in response. “Its from a human german philosopher who wrote a great deal of infamous quotes. If you stare into the abyss long enough, the abyss stares back at you....” I though about that quote for awhile. Did it mean...us, as humanity as a whole? Are we our own enemy? Or whoever was writing these illiterate quotes has been watching us this whole time? I couldn’t let this quote boggle my mind as we descended down the flight of stairs. We stopped midpoint to another landing with pinned faces on the wall, and traveled yet again down another flight of stairs into a strait enlongated cage. Metallic candles seemed to float from around the cage off from a distance. We looked around as it seems, we were venturing though a dark abyss of sorts. I was starting to become consumed by the fact that this serial killer wasn’t human at all, and this whole place seemed like a large representation....of it's mind. We walked onward, when I heard more loud whispering as we drew near a wooden door at the end of the cage. We opened the door and stumbled into a metallic catacombs of sorts. A block of metal was near a metallic candle revealing a section of wall removed, where a dead search party member made his bold last stand. A shadow figure launched a fireball at us from the right side, where Rarity used her nickle plated 1911 to terminate it. Another dead search party member laid on a catacomb wall. We encountered more shadow figures as we progressed forwards. We reached a turning point in the catacombs, where three of Celestia’s royal guards laid dead on a metal grid with sections of their rib cages missing and their eyes....completely torn out. After seeing all of the mutilated human bodies, it was rare to see some of Celestia’s royal guards lay dead, since most of them had the power of magic. The sight disturbed the girls deeply, as it affected Twilight the most. We made our way to the right where a metallic candle illuminated a wooden door. Another metal catacomb maze, with more of Celestia’s royal guards...lifeless on the ground. One of the guards was gutted and hanging from a rope, the other impailed on a metal spike, and another with half of his lower torso missing. Whatever the unfortunate guards encountered in here must have been pretty damn powerful. We ran into more of the shadow figures hiding in dark crevasses in the catacombs, taking turns within the group putting them down. We made our way into a room with four of Celestia’s royal guards corpses were in the process of being mutilated, by the monster Fluttershy and I first saw in the house. A giant, muscular bi-pedal pink skinned goat thing turned and launched a green corossive ball at us, hitting and corroding a mutilated body. The girls did not take kindly to this monster, as Applejack unloaded her entire tubular magazine into the monster and tried to buck it. The monster grabbed Applejacks leg and lifted her off from the ground. I though in panic. “Aim for it's arm girls!” I screamed, while we shot at its buldging bicep. The arm became completely severed where the pink goat thing screamed in pain at the green stump of what remained it’s arm. Applejack crawled away while Twilight walked calmly over to the screaming goat and emptied an entire mag into its head. It laid motionless afterwards. Beyond the four guards corpses, was an exit to the metal catacombs. The door slammed behind us as we made our way toward a brick wall. Four normal goat things teleported from thin air in front of us, with one in the back of us. We sprinted in the gap of the middle of the goat things while Rarity used her magic to open the door. We tripped forward thinking it was going to be another room, instead we all fell into a large gap where a floor was ususally present. The laws of gravity didnt seem to apply as we floated downward into a small 6 by 6 foot room. A metal broken door opened as another AT4 formal human attempted to aim at us. I aimed for it's head and carried on. Another AT4 formal human waited at the end of the hall as Rainbow dash shot it in the chest. We left the AT4’s there, as none of us had room to carry them with us. The next area was a large open pit, where it cotained a series of demonic skull switches that had to be pressed one after another. We ran from switch to switch, avoiding and dodging the reign of monsters while they fought within groups of each other. A new type of monster was present at the fray, a mechanical four legged spider brain with blue eyes launched a volley of plasma at us, hitting a pink goat thing...not making it too happy. After locating the finall demonic skull switch, a large shriek from a inhumane monster with four mechanical legs stomped in, as it sensed us in the pit. Only a few pink goat things with their cousin goat things remained pursuing us. When we turned the corner, all seven of us got a good detailed glimpse of the enormous monster with four mechanical legs. It was a larger version of the spider brain thing, with red eyes complete with black pupils, and wires flowing in all directions of its massive brain as stubby arms protruded from its side. It had shark like teeth, and had a large 20mm vulcan chaingun in the middle of its metal chassis, aimed directly at us. “Run under it girls!” I yellwed as we were almost face to face with the monster. They instinctively did as they were told, while we ran and ducked under the large stainless steel metal chassis of the monster. It shrieked as corrosive green balls trailed it’s way, hitting the monster with several blows. The monster diverted its attention to the goat things while the vulcan chaingun rotated. It fired what sounded like a synchronous blast of cannons, firing off at the group of goats, cutting the normal goat things into two like swiss cheese. The only monsters that stood a chance to the spider demon were the pink goats, where they hoplessly lasted a few seconds while being cut down by the depleted uranium rounds. While cutting down the last pink goat thing, the spider demon diverted its attention back to us. I told Twilight to ready the AT4. I spotted a tragic flaw within the design of this spider demon. The metal legs had exposed wiring and were vulnerable to small arms fire, as I saw it stuggle from a hit from a corrosive fireball. I told Pinkie to aim for the exposed wiring within the legs, as we strafed for cover everytime the spider demon's chaingun barrels started to rotate. After about 30 minutes of chasing and hitting the exposed wiring, the mechanical chassis failed and the spider demons legs collapsed. We went around to the back side of the spider demon and I told Twilight to ready the AT4. I told her where to aim, as she disengaged the safety switch on the launcher. “Now!” as a shockwave left the launcher as the rocket crashed right into the base of the brain. The spider demon imploded as its brain matter flew all over the place. The girls cheered in victory while a door opened within the pit. The spider demon was guarding a room, with the three skulls we were looking for. I advanced into the room as I lifted the red skull, Dash took the blue while Fluttershy took the yellow. It was time we finally focused on making our way back home. We retraced our path all the way back to the cells, where a ceramic door required a red skull to open the door. I extended my arm and pointed the red skull to the door, as the door opened up and revealed the maze of cages from where we first looked for Rarity from before. We made our way back to the original odd looking mirror, that contained the missing gear for the gear room. All seven of us touched the mirror as we rematerialized into the serial killers house for the final time. As we made our way to the left of the house for the faded city, my eyes caught a note on a small fridge that I must have missed from before. Along the side of the note...was a piece of my old kidney. It was completely cooked as I picked it up, and I almost threw up in my mouth as the girls looked at me in confusion. The only one who had any idea what was going on right now was Fluttershy, as she pranced over to me and wrapped her arm around my back. Twilight looked over the note and read aloud to us. From Hell I sned you hlaf the kiedny I took Form one mna peerversd it for you The oethr peice I ferid and ate It was vrey nice “That’s from....Jack the Ripper.” Twilight announced to the group. Jack the Ripper? The Zodiac Killer? There was no way in hell it could have been a human being then... as one killer was from the 1800’s while the other killer was from the 1960’s. “Girls....whatever this thing is...writing these messages...isn’t human at all...” I told the group. “I dont ever want to meet this thing. Let's focus on getting the fuck out of here. Im starting to hate this thing...for putting us though hell like this. None of you girls deserve this at all.” I told the group in anger. We heard footsteps pertruding from upstairs, when the whole entire house experienced a rattling that shook the place like a type 1 earthquake. Minutes later...absolute silence. Whatever was prancing back and forth from the third story of this house...was gone. “Let’s go girls......” //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's note //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's note Before you read my fanfic, I have a few notes to point out. First off, this entire fanfic is based off of Paul Schneider's Unloved 2 horror mod. I highly recommend you first download and play the game to understand key points within the fanfic. You can download it for free, but it requires a copy of doom 2 and a gameport to run the mod. Gzdoom or Skulltag works best and instructions on how to run doom wad files are located online. For maxium effect, play the mod as you read along. Second off, none of the mane 6 characters are brutally murdered like in Cupcakes, as this fanfic is more of a physiological survival horror themed fanfic. Rest assure that your favorite pony will not die as you read along. Third off, I suggest you do not read onwards if Fluttershy is your waifu, since Fluttershy and I develope a strong relationship throughout the story. If your cool about shipping, then carry on. had alot of fun writing this fanfic, but if you have any suggestions or comments for improvements then let me know. Also, the notes inside the fanfic are based off of real quotes. Lastly...this story is not for the faint of the heart. DO NOT READ THE BOTTOM PARAGRAPH AS IT CONTAINS SPOILERS UNTIL YOU ARE COMPLETELY DONE READING THE FANFIC! This fanfic is dedicated to Paul Schiedner’s Unloved doom horror mod series. My whole entire fanfic is based around those two mods, with some new elements that I chose to throw in. I encourage you to play the mods first before you read my fanfic, as you might get lost with locations within the Fic.If you want to, read the Fic as you play the mod. Unloved 2 is extremely atmospheric, but it is still in the beta stages. The notes used within the Fic and in the mod are based off of real poems, quotes, and messages from real life. The whole purpose of this Fanfic was to get a fic out there that wasnt fucking stupid like Cupcakes, while having some meaning in the backstory. The main character’s name, Ryan, is based off of me, as I am the main character in the story. The whole closet portal story was based off of a real life experience that I had with my dog Monte years ago. No, I actually didn’t witness a portal in my closet, more like a supernatural shadow figure encounter that shocked me and my dog. The shadow figure, as I recalled years ago.....appeared from the far left side of my closet, got a good look at me, and darted to the right while disappearing. I will never forget that encounter. If you would like to hear another action-horror fanfic from me, I’ll do a MLP combination with Shitbag’s Circus 2 horror mod as a direct sequel to this.
