Minra, The Dragon-Pony From Another World

Please note, I'm recovering from surgery so if you don't see a whole lot of chapters at once it's because I can't sit for long periods of time.
Chapter 1
A Convention
Catastrophe
My name is Minra and I love living in Equestria. While most people from my world would want to go home I belong here, I have everything anyo-er anypony would want, friends, which are more like my family then anything, a lover, a home and honestly a happy life. Since coming here it’s been a total blast, sure there’s been an occasional monster attack but hey, that’s part of the charm.
Minra enjoyed the breeze he felt as he flew through the sky in his dragon pony form which was azure in coloration with dark blue wings, mane and tail, under his wings were green just like his eyes and his dragon shaped cutie mark, he had four horns, two were twisted and were behind his ears while he had a small curved horn in front of the unicorn horn, he looked like a cross between a dragon and a pony with some fangs, dragon legs and a dragon tail with a pony’s tail at the end. Minra was on his way to Canterlot to enjoy a gaming convention with Princess Luna and Prince Nebula, he was also on his way to buy Fluttershy a gift for her birthday. Minra soon arrived at the train station of Canterlot where his friend Prince Nebula, a cherry red alicorn stallion, whose fur faded into light blue with similar colored wings that had magenta tipped feathers, he has a nebula shaped cutie mark, with a dark gray and sand red mane and tail, his eyes were also sand red, he was waiting for him where he reverted back to his earth pony form which was white with a brown mane and tail with a dragon shaped cutie mark and blue eyes.
“What took you so long?” Prince Nebula asked.
“I wanted to take the scenic route.” Minra responded as the two chuckled then walked to the convention center, where the year’s Game-con was being held.
“So what gaming gear are you and Princess Luna gonna buy?” Minra asked.
“I know I’m gonna get the latest Tincrea game, Ultra Plumber Trolley, among various other games. What about you?” Prince Nebula asked.
“I don’t know yet. So where do you want to meet up at?” Minra responded.
“Hmm, how about in front of the food court.” Prince Nebula responded.
“Sound’s like a plan. See you later.” Minra said as he walked off while Prince Nebula told Princess Luna about the meet up point.
“What to buy, what to buy.” Minra thought to himself as strolled through the convention hall buying some merchandise here and there with some being figurines, posters a couple games, some books and even a pillow of sorts.
Minra, Prince Nebula and a dark blue alicorn mare who has a with a crescent moon for a cutie mark flowing night blue mane and tail with azure eyes, her name is Princess Luna, they soon met up in front of the food court where they discussed what they had bought.
“Princess Luna, what did you get?” Minra asked.
“I bought some more controllers, posters, a lot of video games, plushies and a couple of figurines.” Princess Luna responded.
“What about you Minra?” Prince Nebula asked
“Just some merchandise and a couple games. Wait, Princess Luna, did you say more controllers?” Minra asked as she blushed a little.
“I may or may not go through controllers...a lot.” Princess Luna replied covering her face with her wings.
Prince Nebula and Minra teased Princess Luna until she told Minra about the time were she found him kissing his pillow, causing the already embarrassed Prince Nebula to turn redder then a strawberry.
“I-I was three-hundred and it was one time!” Prince Nebula tried defending himself but it only made Minra and Princess Luna laugh.
“Cheer up brother, everypony has done something similar in his or her life.” Princess Luna replied as she wiped a tear from her eye.
“If it makes you feel better I had to wear a maid outfit when I was in the human world.” Minra added.
Minra’s two friends let out a small but noticeable laugh as they walked into a fast-food restaurant called Patty Queen where the three ordered their food. After taking a seat at a table a light gray unicorn mare walked up to the group and gave them their food.
“Here you go, an apple salad, a grilled cheese sandwich and ghost pepper poppers with a side of diet Ceala.” The employee said as she passed out the food.
“Thanks.” The group replied as they dug in.
“Wait, you’re eating ghost pepper poppers?” Princess Luna asked with a shock expression on her face.
“Well yea, I’ve been able to eat full ghost peppers with any problem.” Minra explained.
“Minra, you are one seriously weird pony.” Prince Nebula said patting Minra on the back.
“Heh, I know.” Minra said smiling as he popped a popper.
The three of them laughed as they ate their food. Once finished they went back to browsing the convention center, while browsing Canterlot’s monster attack siren started blaring as screams could be heard coming from the entrance of the center. The next thing the threw heard were one growl, one howl and a roar, Prince Nebula, Princess Luna and Minra rushed to the area only to find three large wolf-like creatures surrounded by several royal guards, the one in the middle was black with deep red flames spewing from it’s back, chest and tail, the other two were similar two the black one except one was brown with orange flames and the other gray with Arctic blue flames.
“Hell-hounds.” Princess Luna said as Minra set down his items and soon transformed.
“Everypony run to the exits, Minra, Princess Luna, some royal guards and I will stop these Hell-hounds.” Prince Nebula said as all of the convention goers ran to safety.
The black Hell-hound lunged at one of the guards but was blocked by Princess Luna’s magic shield, the gray Hell-hound shot a fireball at Prince Nebula but was countered by his own magic ball. Minra roared at the brown Hell-hound which caused it to step back a couple of paces then shot fire out of it’s mouth that Minra endured with ease, he then kicked the Hell-hound in the jaw, causing it collapse.
Some of the royal guards who showed up tried to get the other two under control, but to no avail. The black Hell-hound and probably the Alpha one flared it’s flames so much that it caused the guards around it to be sent flying in multiple directions, with most of them landing in the booths of the convention. The other Hell-hound merely jerked it’s body and shot flames at the guards, then lunged at Princess Luna who was focusing on the Alpha Hell-hound. Minra tackled Princess Luna, saving her from the attack when she shot a magic bolt at the Alpha who was about to attack Minra.
“I guess that makes us even.” Minra joked.
“I suppose but we still have two angry Hell-hounds to focus on.” Princess Luna replied.
Chuckling Minra replied with “you’re right.”
Soom the other two Hell-hounds were subdued and brought to Fluttershy’s cottage in Ponyville while receiving some shocked looks by the residents of Ponyville. Minra knocked on her door.
“Oh hey Minra what are you...” Fluttershy started saying as her jaw dropped at the sight that beheld her.
She was a banana yellow pegasis mare, with three butterflies as her cutie mark, a light pink mane and tail and azure eyes.
“Well I was at the gaming convention with Prince Nebula, Princess Luna when these three Hell-hounds attacked.” Minra explained.
“And we were hoping that you would be able to rehabilitate them so we can release them back into the wild?” Princess Luna asked.
“Oh of coarse, bring them out back.” Fluttershy said motioning to the back of her cottage.
The three did as they were asked and laid the three still unconscious Hell-hounds on her patio.
“Oh my, I’ve never seen a gray Hell-hound before, I heard that coloration is quite rare.” Fluttershy said as Twilight arrived upon hearing the commotion.
“What happened?” Twilight asked, she was a lavender colored alicorn mare with several small stars surrounding a big star as her cutie mark, a dark purple mane and tail with a magenta stripe, she has purple eyes.
Minra explained to Twilight what had happened.
“Bur Hell-hounds usually protect supernatural creatures, or go after somepony that had defiled a grave yard.” Twilight began to explain.
“I know, it’s strange but I trust these three in the hooves of Fluttershy.” Princess Luna replied.
“Yea, but I hope Emblade hasn’t escaped Tartar-us.” Minra added.
“I don’t know but I’ll have some guards check on him.” Prince Nebula said.
“Good idea.” Twilight replied as Princess Luna and Prince Nebula went back to Canterlot.
Twilight checked the three Hell-hounds for any sighs of alien magic (somepony who used magic on them) and sure enough she found the same magic on the three.
“What’s this?” Twilight whispered to herself.
Seeing a startled and confused look on Twilight’s face, Minra and Fluttershy asked what was wrong.
“Oh it’s just that somepony had put a mind control spell on these poor flame-pups.” Twilight responded.
“Oh, well can you trace the source of this magic?” Fluttershy asked.
“I can try, but I might not be able to.” Twilight said as she searched for the source but soon gave up.
“I’m sorry but I don’t know were the spell came from.” Twilight added.
“It’s okay.” Fluttershy said as the three Hell-hounds started waking up.
Fully expecting them to attack Minra transformed into his dragon-pony form as Twilight put up a shield however when the three woke up they acted more like puppies then aggressive dogs taking Minra and Twilight by surprise. Fluttershy walked over to them and began petting them, much to the Hell-hound’s delight as their fire tails wagged and rolled over showing their bellies.
“Aww you three are so adorable, come on you two try it.” Fluttershy said as she rubbed their bellies.
“But how come you’re not burning?” Twilight asked surprised.
“Oh it’s because their fire doesn’t hurt anyone they trust.” Fluttershy replied as Minra started rubbing the belly of one while Twilight rubbed the belly of the other.
After a while the three stopped petting the Hell-hounds who were now able to be released back into the wild. However upon doing so the gray one decided to stay with Fluttershy much to the other’s despair and when she tried to use her look on it but the flame-pup stayed. With a defeated sigh Fluttershy allowed the Hell-hound to stay much to it’s delight.
“So how was the convention?” Fluttershy asked Minra.
“Well I found out some embarrassing info of Prince Nebula and Princess Luna.” Minra replied.
“Oh really, like what?” Twilight asked.
“Well Princess Luna goes through video game controllers a lot and Prince Nebula well he was caught making out with his pillow when he was three-hundred and one.” Minra responded causing Fluttershy and Twilight to chuckle.
“It was one time!” Prince Nebula shouted all the way from Canterlot causing the three to break into laughter.
“So. What did you get Fluttershy for her Birthday?” Twilight asked as Minra soon realized that he had forgotten among all the chaos of the day.
With a face-hoof Minra said he had forgotten, however much to his surprise his marefriend, Fluttershy wasn’t mad.
“I understand, with all that’s happened it would be hard to remember.” Fluttershy said smiling.
“I know and don’t worry I’ll get you something.” Minra responded.
“No need.” Fluttershy said as Twilight left.
Minra decided to make her something instead of buying her something witch in this case was a failed attempt at an animal house made out of pop-cycle sticks while on stilts. Deciding it was the best version of what it was ever going to be Minra went to Fluttershy’s to give her the present and a card he had bought. Once their he knocked on her door and greeted her.
“Happy birthday.” Minra said as he hugged Fluttershy.
“Thanks, and what do you have there?” Fluttershy asked.
“Well, it’s supposed to be a little critter house.” Minra said blushing.
“It’s lovely.” The mare chimed as she hugged her stallionfriend.
“Thanks” Minra said as he returned the hug and gave her a quick kiss.
Minra felt the ground shake when a large wolf like creature appeared and tackled him, realizing it was the Hell-hound from earlier in the month Minra let out a chuckle as he gave em a side rub causing the Hell-hound to fall on it’s side with a look of contempt on it’s face. Getting up Minra gave the Hell-hound some more pats before it fell asleep.
“Want to come in?” Fluttershy asked.
“Of coarse,” Minra replied as he saw a multi-part creature know as Discord and greeted him. “Heya Discord, how have things been?”
“Good, good especially in the land of chaos. What about you?” Discord replied.
“Well other then stopping some mind controlled Hell-hounds that crashed a gaming convention that I was attending and failing to make a critter house out of pop-cycle sticks I’ve been pretty good.” Minra responded as he hoof-bumbed the draconiquis.
The three of them chatted as their friends came by and gave Fluttershy some birthday gifts.
