Who is the shadow crawling on the walls;
whose hoofsteps induce horror-filled calls?
Oh, why is the atmosphere so thick with dismal?!

Flowing streams of torrential tears
streak down a muzzle curled in a forever sneer.
Standing alone in the rain, he reeks of foreboding drear.

Sour, bitter, and screeching with pain.
Watching with eyes hidden behind charred-black mane,
they are narrowed fiery mirrors regarding all with disdain.
Running from this phantismal entity is an act done in vain,
for nopony escapes the UmbraEquinae's bane.

"It matters not who I am," the spoke the phantasm, a blade flashing before it. "What you should be concerned is this: How are the corrupt regarded, and what they deserve?"
