He felt little remorse for the life he had taken for the first time all those years ago, and he felt no remorse for deleting the file that held Maxis' computerized life. "Okay, now we're gonna have to kill many of them around the MPD to fill up the soul containers." Richtofen said to his group. Later, near the MPD The group of survivors killed zombie, after zombie. Richtofen used his upgraded RPK to mow down groups of zombies. Since there was no gravity in that area the blood from the zombies just seemed to float around in the air for a couple minutes before vaporizing. The doctor ran up to the astronaut zombie, and emptied a full mag of a python into it's head, causing it to explode in a blast of compressed oxygen. Richtofen grinned evilly watching his "allies" fulfill demands from the doctor. Little did they know, the outcome of their work would devastate survivors everywhere. "Richtofen, can we take a brake from running around, trying to open the pyramid thingy, and go back to Earth to upgrade my wave gun?" Nikolai asked the doctor. Richtofen sighed, obviously annoyed. "Fine..." He said, "But make it quick!" Richtofen rounded up the group, they made their way to the teleporters. They all jumped onto the teleporter, and where soon followed by a group of zombies. It took one drunken mistake from Nikolai to accidentally shoot the teleporter with the wave gun. The teleporter started to emit a large amount of electricity. Nikolai, Dempsey, and Takeo noticed this and jumped off of it, but Richtofen was too busy killing zombies to notice. The teleporter glowed a bunch of different colors, and then it teleported the doctor away... Once the remaining survivors had killed all of the zombies, they noticed the doctor was missing. They searched the whole base for him, but didn't find him. "Shit..." Dempsey muttered. (()) Everfree Forest, Equestria In the very heart of the Everfree, there's a spot where the forest just stops, and the muddy swamps of the Everfree Forest turns into a green peaceful meadow. This peace was interrupted by a ball of lightning appearing in the center of it. A single hoof broke out of the energy ball, followed the rest of the trapped being. As the energy ball vaporized into thin air, Richtofen gasped, looked around frantically. He observed his surrounding before reaching into his backpack and pulling out his tape recorder. (see description) Insanity Can Be Fun, Sometimes... And Sometimes It's NotRichtofen finished the recording, and decided to look more into his surroundings. Richtofen stood up and slowly did a 360, eyes wide open. Staring into the soul of his surroundings. 'I seem to be in a forest...' Richtofen said in his mind. 'Now to a different matter...' The doctor what used to be his left arm in front of his his face. What he saw was a GREY HOOF.The doctor rubbed his eyes with what used to be his right arm, only to see that it was a grey hoof as well. And that's when Richtofen noticed that he was holding both of his front hooves up, and he fell on his face. After Much Cursing... The doctor brushed the rest of the dirt off of his face, which he noted, was longer than normal. Now that that obstacle was conquered, Richtofen decided to explore. His fore arm wobbled as he tried to push himself off the ground. Why was he having so much difficulty in this new body? Perhaps he wasn't used to it. After a few minutes of struggling, and German curse words, Richtofen got on all fours. He was about to get on his back legs like a human, but in the process of trying he had put some weight on what used to be his right leg, bending in the normal direction a knee would. It did NOT feel like it was supposed to bend that way, so he got back on all fours. Richtofen slowly took a step forward. His joint wobbled, and he nearly fell over straight on his arsch. He managed to get himself in balance again, though. "Okay, Edward... You can do this!" Richtofen said to himself. He slowly maid his way into the forest, struggling to keep himself from falling to the ground with each step. Richtofen eventually got the hang of it, and started into a slow jog. After an hour of absolutely nothing but jogging through the forest, Richtofen found a stream. He had remembered that if you are lost, you can follow a body of moving water 'till you find a town, or a city, or a village, or a... Y'know what? We're gonna drop that, cause it can go on for a lot longer. While following the stream Richtofen started to hear the voices. The voices that have been coming and going for the past five years, or 20 if you count time travel. It took him by surprise, so when they first started to talk to him he nearly jumped right into the stream. Which wouldn't have been bad, since it was near triple digit Fahrenheit. "Not now, NOT NOW!" Richtofen said, worryingly. You might be saying "But it's not that bad Richtofen. It's just some voices." But it's not that simple. Sometimes, after Richtofen heard the voices, he blacked out, and when he woke up, he was somewhere completely different, sometimes covered with blood. He never finds out what he did during the black out, and part of him doesn't want to know. That part of him, is the part of him that hasn't really accepted the insanity that he's suffering from. The other part of him takes pleasure from the feeling, from the horrible deeds that he's done. Richtofen, luckily, never blacked out. He sat there, next to that stream for hours, just waiting for the voices to stop. He sat there until the sky turned black, and the moon came out. Richtofen felt tired, and eventually, he fell asleep. FlashbacksThe doctor was back a Der Riese, before the zombies, and before Richtofen's insanity. The mainframe area was crowded with scientist, guards, and Nazi soldiers, of countless numbers. And standing next to the the mainframe, giving a speech, was none other than Dr. Maxis. The leader of group 935. "This is our new invention! The MDT. It's basically a teleporter, and it's completely safe for human uses." Maxis announced. "There are three Teleporters around the facility, and each one sends you safely to the mainframe, located directly in front of me." There where excited mumbles from the crowd. Making all of the scientist that worked on the MDT proud. "I'm now going to tell my colleague, on the other side of the facility, to activate the teleporter." Dr. Maxis turned around, and spoke into a microphone. "Dr. Richtofen, activate the MDT." He said over the loud speaker. ()() Across the facility Richtofen received the order, and activated the MDT. Being inside the magnetic field made Richtofen feel very numb. Like his whole body was asleep. He squeezed his eyes shut, and didn't move for about three seconds. Then, suddenly he felt as though he was free falling. He opened his eyes, and saw that he was going through a worm hole of some sorts. He made a mental note of what it looked like. He didn't have much time before the worm hole was replaced by hundreds of people eagerly awaiting Richtofen's arrival. Slowly one by one, the crowd started clapping, and whistling for the invention. Maxis bowed, and Richtofen did the same. "You made me proud today, Edward." Maxis said. "A promotion is in order." __________________ That flashback suddenly was replaced by another. The doctor was in an Alaskan group 935 compound. Experimenting with element 115. Next to him was a Russian member of group 935. On the table ahead of him was a meteor rock containing the dangerous element. Richtofen picked the rock up with metal claws, and half way through putting it in a decontamination chamber, it slipped out of the machines metal grip, landing right in the palm of the Russian group 935 member. "IT BUURNS!" The Russian screamed throwing the rock across the room, he fell down, clutching his hand. Richtofen was standing there, not knowing what to do. Finally, Richtofen knelt down, and looked at the Russian's palm. Y'know that vein on your wrist that's supposed to be purple, well his was black, and so was the skin on his palm. "I... I don't think there is anything we can do here..." Richtofen said solemnly. "Please! I don't want to die!" The Russian said, holding back tears. Since there was no cure for someone exposed to 115, there was nothing to prevent the painful death it caused... Except mercy killing. Richtofen slowly upholstered his pistol, and aimed it at the Russian's head. "Please, I have kids!" The Russian plead, actually crying now. "I'm sorry, comrade..." Edward said, quietly. Halfway through pulling the trigger, someone opened the door, and saw Richtofen execute the crying Russian. On Richtofen's side, it was a mercy killing, and was the right thing to do, but on the person who opened the door's side, it was someone shooting someone in the head. The alarm was rung, and guards were called in. Richtofen fought his way out, he didn't want to, but it was kill or be killed. Richtofen killed 37 of group 935, and nobody knows what happened there, except Richtofen. _________ That flashback ended and yet another took it's place. It was Richtofen's first encounter with zombies. After being exposed to element 115, one of the scientist's at Der Riese didn't want to be mercy killed, too bad the guards around him didn't know of the consequences of letting someone who's been near element 115 for too long, without protection. After he died, he was being carried to the morgue, he suddenly came back to life as a blood thirsty monster. None of the morgue workers had weapons, so it was a piece of cake for the zombie. Then, the zombie moved on to the main factory, being followed by the newly infected morgue workers. ()() The factory alarm went off in the middle of the night, guards, and scientist's barely had enough time to get ready for the pack of zombies to storm into the facility. Richtofen was in one of the underground labs at the time, so he had extra preparation time. Richtofen, a few guards, and a few scientist barricaded the main access to the underground labs, with a few cabinets, a couch, and other pieces of random furniture. All they could hear was zombie growls, screams, and gunshots. Eventually the screaming, and gunshots stopped, but the zombie moans, and growls persisted. "Are... Are we t-the last ones?" One of the younger scientists asked. "Nein, we can't be..." The lead guard said. The guards were armed with MP-40s, and the scientist were able to find weapons such as the Kar98k, and the STG-44. Richtofen, though, had a MP-40 just like the guards. "Th-.... This can't be happening...." The young scientist said. Gripping his bolt-action rifle close to his chest. Then suddenly a loud zombie screech echoed through the labs. "They found us! Get ready to fight!" One of the guards yelled. The barricade they put together was simply pushed aside by the zombies. "FIRE!" Someone said, Richtofen wasn't paying attention. While every one else was focused on keeping the undead back, Richtofen was searching for a way out. He spotted one fairly quickly. It was a vent in the corner. Richtofen sneaked away from the group, and while they were getting overrun, Richtofen was crawling through vents, on his way to the surface. Something Weird Is Going On Here...Nevada, Date Classified Everything was decimated, and there was a huge crater in the ground from the explosion. One small town stood in the center of the chaos, this half destroyed, 1950's style town (Nicknamed: Nuketown, by the workers there.) was in pieces, and the Russians, and the Americans fighting over it, were all killed. After words, the workers there sent in a team of scientist to measure the radiation. This team lost connection to the workers, and never came back. So the workers sent in another team to check on the scientist, and the same happened to them. Worried by this, the Nevada base workers called in elite people to find the two lost teams. These people were the CDC, and the CIA. Inside an AAV-7A1 AMTRAC in the desert, near code-name Nuketown Eight men sat inside of the cramped vehicle, four CIA agents, and four CDC soldiers, all of them armed with various automatic weapons, shotguns, and pistols. "Something weird is going on here..." A CDC soldier named Johnston said to the CDC soldier sitting next to him. "What to you mean?" A CIA agent named Ben interrupted. "You don't need heavy weaponry for radiation clean-up" Johnston stated, referring to the automatic weapons that they were given. "Probably just a precaution..." another CDC soldier said. "What if some of the Russians survived the nuke?" "Yeah, I guess you're right..." Johnston trailed off. Suddenly the AMTRAC came to a halt, and the men inside almost flew forward out of their seats, because of the sudden stop. "We're here!" The driver said. "Just find the scientist, get a sample of the radiation, and meet me back here in two hours!" The AMTRAC's ramp lowered, and the door opened. Letting the men out of the tight space. Ben, the CIA agent was the first one out of the AMTRAC. He was also the first one who saw the devastation, and destruction of the 1950's style town. Not only was there devastation everywhere, but it was storming, and lightning was being shot of the clouds, like a fully automatic firearm. "Ho-ly shit!" Johnston gasped as he stepped out of the AMTRAC. Little did the team of soldiers know, the events that followed this would be the worst events of their lives. Equestria, Everfree Forest Richtofen awoke from the night of flashback type dreams, he was lying on his side, about two meters from the stream. The voices had stopped, which he smiled devilishly about, and the sun was high in the sky. By just looking, Richtofen guessed it was about noon. Richtofen got back onto his newly developed hooves, and took another drink from the stream. While he was drinking, he saw his reflection. He now saw that he was a grey furred horse, with a black mane. He turned and saw that he had something like a tattoo on his ass of a book. "What the hell?" Richtofen said, with surprise. "I've never gotten a tattoo in my life..." After a while Richtofen shrugged it off, and started towards a random direction. After about a kilometer of going in one random direction, Richtofen found a sign that said "Ponyville, 10 miles." Richtofen couldn't help but snicker at the name of the town, and after words decided to head in that direction. Johnston and Ben; best budsThe two soldiers went completely unconscious, there bodies laid limp on the floor. Without their leaders, the three remaining CDC, and the three remaining CIA were utterly lost. Not only were the scientists that they were sent to find were dead, but they had an hour before the evac came back to the testing grounds. 45 minutes, 21 seconds in The entirety of the CIA was dead, and only two of the CDC remained. The two stationed themselves on the top story of the house that has the fallout shelter in the back, and the two were fighting down to their last bullet. One CDC operative, Gordon, shot his last shell of his R870 shotgun into the chest of a zombified russian soldier. It's chest blew open, and Yanders switched to his back up 44. Magnum. The other CDC, Eric, was spraying into several infecteds, that were coming into the room via the window, with his HAMR. The two thought they'd be able to survive, seeing as they only had about 15 minutes left before rescue came. Eric reloaded his HAMR, shooting two more rounds into a zombified scientist's head. Bodies were piling up, and the two CDC operatives were happy that they were wearing masks, as the scent of the hundreds of dead bodies piling up around the test site. The two swore that they could survive, only 10 more minutes till the amtrac came back. Only ten more minutes till they could both go home to see their every day life again. Ten more minutes until they could be rid of the entire ordeal. Alas, the zombies eyes had turned blue about 7 minutes prior, and now, up on the moon, a rocket was being prepared to launch. The two had pretty much sealed their fate, with a good secure hold on the top story of the house, they could have surely went on for the last 15 minutes. It's a shame they were both obliterated in the blast, leaving no trace. The bomb destroyed everything they ever were, and everything they ever could have been. Equestria, near Ponyville Richtofen silently crept through the dark and shadowy forest towards the distant town. Through the trees he could see lightly colored houses, and other ponies of various colors. From what he saw, he guessed it was a small local town, where everyone knows when something happens. Kinda akin to a small American town. "Stupid Americans, with their pies, and baseball, and... Children." Richtofen said, he remembered making that statement before, but for Richtofen, there's always a time to angrily think about the allies. Edward slowly crept out of the darkness of the forest, he was now much closer to the town, so close that if a pony in the town even looked in his direction, they'd notice him right away. He slid down the slope and stopped himself on a small rock implanted into the earth. Or, whatever this planet was. Just then, Richtofen had a realization. If the teleported could bring him here, that means there must be element 115 somewhere on the planet, as the teleported can only bring you to places where 115 is present. That means, if Richtofen can find it, he can rule over this planet just like he wanted to on Earth. 'Zombie horses do sound more fun than zombie humans...' Richtofen thought in his head. Then he had another realization, 115 just makes the zombies, to rule over it, you must have the golden rod, the focusing stone, and the MPD. How the hell would he be able to get those? They were all back on the moon. Richtofen tried to think of a way to get back to them. Maybe... just maybe if he could get the 115 that's on this planet he could create a teleporter, then he could create a duplicate of the wave gun. The teleporter being shot by the wave gun was what caused him to come here, so maybe it can send him back. Richtofen got up, and back onto all fours. He carefully walked out into the pony filled street. He was greeted with several 'hellos' None of which he returned. Richtofen grinned devilishly. He was going to enjoy ruling over this land. All he needed to do was find the 115, and then build the teleported and wave gun. It's not as hard as it sounds, by now, Richtofen's built about 70 teleporters, and the wave gun's a pretty simple design. The hardest part for him will definitely be finding the element 115. Then, after that, time is the only thing that matters. Canterlot Royal Garden Johnston opened his eyes slowly, his vision blurry, and ringing was the only thing he could hear. He raised his hands up to his eyes to rub the blurriness away. Instead of hands he was surprised to see two bright yellow hooves. "The hell...?" Johnston mumbled, now totally confused. "Awake, I see?" Johnston heard a voice from a foot or two behind him. "Name's Johnston right? My name's Ben." Johnston struggled to get up, learning his new body parts. He turned around to see a black pony with a light grey mane. "Ben... you were the CIA guy right?" Johnston said, shakily. He gulped, shocked and scared about what was going on. "Yeah, I woke up a while ago, and I went through the same thing your going through. Shakiness, confusion, fear, everything." Ben answered, looking around the garden that they had woke up in. "What's going on?" Johnston asked, he started to calm, but was still immensely confused. "I don't know, I was waiting for you to wake up before I went and investigated." Ben answered looking around more. "Ok... Ok..." Johnston mumbled to himself regaining his composure. "So, when are we heading out?" "Let's go now." Ben said, leading the way out of the garden. The two slowly walked to the nearest door, opening it slowly. They had no idea of what was destined to happen to them in the future. As they got closer to the test-site, the more force the storm had. "Let's do this!" Ben said to the group, "I don't want to be here long..." The group had to hop a fence to get into the test-site, a destroyed, rotten, barely standing fence. They were in the back yard of a house, in the corner of the yard was a fallout shelter. "Let's find 'em" Johnston yelled, as he ran up to the back door to the house, and kicked it open. The first thing Johnston, Ben, and all the others saw was a badly decomposed, limping, torn up Russian soldier, turn to face the group. "What the fuck is that?" One of the CIA agents gasped, as he reached for his pistol, but before he could, Ben had already aimed his M1216 at the enemy soldier. "Stop there or we will fire upon you!" Ben commanded, but to no avail, as the Russian soldier immediately started into a full on sprint at the group. This action caused Ben to fire off a single shot into the Russian's shoulder, which blew off his entire arm, but the soldier didn't stop, or scream with pain, or even flinch. "What the hell?" Ben said with confusion, before firing several more times. The soldier's head blew apart, and he fell to the floor. The group slowly approached the body, and when they were sure it was dead, they got a good look at it. "That thing's not human!" One of the CDC soldiers yelled, terrified. "I guess we know why they gave us weapons, now..." Johnston said, trailing off at the end, as he saw a huge lump of dead bodies. Underneath them, a puddle of blood that measured from wall to wall, and it was a centimeter deep. "It's the team of scientists.... And the first rescue team!" Johnston yelled to his teammates. "Holy fuck..." Someone said, but Johnston couldn't tell, as his vision was getting darker by the moment. Then, finally, Johnston fell to the floor, and went unconscious. The last thing he heard was; "Johnston just fainted!" and then another voice say; "So has Ben!"

Nuketown ZambiesThe eight soldiers started towards the destroyed testing facility, all eight of them didn't know what their exact mission was, or why the mission included assault rifles, shotguns, and light machine guns.
