The ancient warrior

I was walking around the forest for about 20 minutes now, and I was starting to get bored. I was also starving a bit, so I decided to go and get something to eat. I walked a bit more until I found a lake. I took a branch from a tree and started to sharpen it with a rock until it formed a spear. I then proceed to catch a fish.

Even tho it took me almost an hour to catch it, in the end it was worth it. I have already started up a fire in wich I cooking the fish with. When I was done it looked really delicious, so I did the obvious thing and started to eat.

When I was done it was getting a bit dark, so I decided to stay here until morning. Then nighttime arrived, and the fire that I made earlier was still up and running.

I was getting ready to sleep when I heard a growl coming from the darkness of the forest. When it revealed itself I saw that it was a manticore. I sighed as I stood up and started walking towards the beast, but I stopped 2 feet away from it.

"Most of the time I would ask for a reason as to why someone is attacking me." I summoned my driver. "But since carnivores can't be reasoned with, your no exception."

Twilight has called all of her friends to her castle for an important matter. She explained about the explosion from the everfree forest ( in wich they already knew about), and also her plan to go to the forest to investigate it themselves.

"Are you sure about this Twi?" Applejack asked. "I mean, it's probably just some ponies trying some explosive."

"Maybe, but it could be something else as well." Twilight replied. "Let's just investigate the forest."

"Alright." All of them replied at the same time.

When morning came, all of the mane 6 including starlight was at the entrance of the forest.

"Are you sure you still want to do this Twilight?" Fluttershy asked. "I mean, this forest kind of looks more dangerous than before."

"I have to agree with Fluttershy on this one, darling." Rarity said. "For some reason it looks more horrid than before."

"Oh, c'mon guys." Rainbow said. "We've seen worse, like seriously this forest is nothing to us now."

"Yeah!" Pinkie shouted. "Let's go guys!"

With that, everypony just sighed and went inside the forest while pinkie was bouncing.

Everypony was walking around the forest together. They Decided to go and ask zecora first to see if she was the one who caused the explosion. When they did, she said that it was not her doing. So it was obvious that the explosion was triggered by something or somepony but the only question was, who?

They kept walking until they stubbled upon a campfire. The fire itself was already out, but they saw something else that shocked them greatly. They saw a dead manticore laying on the ground, with the branch of a tree impaled through it's eye.

Now, trust me when I say that their reactions were priceless. Fluttershy and pinkie felt very sorry for the manticore, so they started to cry. Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow dash puked at least 5 times. While Twilight and Starlight were still very shocked about this.

"Who or what could have done this?" Starlight asked.

"I don't know, but whoever it is it's, definitely not something that will be easy to take down." Twilight replied.

When they were done overreacting, they decided to look around the area. Pinkie then found a red jacket hanging at a tree.

"Hey guys!" Everyone turned to the pink mare. "I found something!"

Then, they walked over to her and examined the item that pinkie found. Twilight levitated the item off the tree for everyone to get a closer look.

"It's a jacket." Applejack said.

"Yeah, but who would leave a jacket here?" Rainbow added.

"I don't know, but whoever it is it must be close by." Twilight replied.

"Um, excuse me?" A voice said from behind them.

When they turned around, they saw me standing there without my Jacket. Then, there was a brief silence before I decided to break it.

"Um, can I have my jacket back please?" Then, the silence came back.

"Oh! Um, here." Twilight said while levitating the jacket over to me.

"Thanks." I took my jacket and put it on.

"Uh, your welcome." She replied.

"By the way, who are you?" Starlight asked.

"My name's Casey, and I'm a human." I replied.

And before I knew it, they instantly bombarded me with questions.

"Great."
