The Equestrian wasteland is a living thing. it chews up and spits out ponies, crushes hope, and does everything it can to ensure there is no Harmony.

Despite that, heroes have emerged, villains defeated, and the Equestrian wastes are a little brighter, a little less deadly because of these ponies actions.

But not all parts of the land are like that.

The wasteland is alive and well in other places in the world, places where would be heroes and saviors are still being killed, or turned into the very evil they sought to destroy.

Sometimes however...

...even the wasteland isn't ready for what is created when a would be hero falls.
