Dreeming to the Endby Cipher800ChaptersPrologue: New WorldPrologue: Arrival at the CastlePrologue: Twilight's New HomePrologue: New WorldAuthor's Note Alright, I had an Undertale/MLP Crossover before, but, it was a bit less on the original side of things. I recently discovered the PWNY-Verses, and found inspiration from there. It takes place "after" the Neutral Run where Frisk chose to FIGHT Flowey instead of show MERCY, but with a twist of my own. Prologue: New World "I KNEW YOU HAD IT IN YOU!" Flowey said as he reverted back into a regular flower. His mind, however, did not vanish along with control of his body. Flowey's conscious was in limbo. Finally, he was so tired of being that flower, but he still missed having his old body back. "But what's in it for me?" Flowey thought to himself. He attempted to look around, but he had no head to turn, nor a bloom, in his case. He remembered fighting "Chara" as Omega Flowey with the six souls that Asgore had before he eventually killed him, and the kid did it to him. For the first time, he felt, regret, for what he had done. Flowey saw a white light go closer to him as it went right in his vision. "Wait, what the?" Flowey said as everything went from black to white. Is this the afterlife? "Where am I?" he said as he looked around. All he could see was white. But there was something else, or, someone else. Flowey saw a figure in a black robe stare out. He did not know where he was, so he knew he should ask SOMEONE for directions out of this place. Suddenly, the being turned around. "❄︎♒︎♓︎⬧︎ ♓︎⬧︎ ❖︎♏︎❒︎⍓︎📪︎ ❖︎♏︎❒︎⍓︎ ♓︎■︎⧫︎♏︎❒︎♏︎⬧︎⧫︎♓︎■︎♑︎📪︎ ♋︎⬧︎❒︎♓︎♏︎●︎📬︎" A mixture of garbled-up static and a foreign language filled Flowey's ears as he saw a half-melted face stare right back at him. "Who are you? What are you?" Flowey asked as he felt the world "glitch" around them. "✌︎⬥︎📪︎ ⬥︎♒︎♋︎⧫︎ ⧫︎♒︎♏︎ ♒︎♏︎♍︎🙵📬︎ ✡︎□︎◆︎ ♍︎♋︎■︎🕯︎⧫︎ ♏︎❖︎♏︎■︎ ◆︎■︎♎︎♏︎❒︎⬧︎⧫︎♋︎■︎♎︎ ❍︎♏︎📪︎ ⍓︎♏︎⧫︎ ♓︎ ♍︎♋︎■︎ ⬧︎⧫︎♓︎●︎●︎ ◆︎■︎♎︎♏︎❒︎⬧︎⧫︎♋︎■︎♎︎ ⍓︎□︎◆︎ ⬧︎□︎❍︎♏︎♒︎□︎⬥︎📬︎" the being replied. Flowey didn't know what he was saying, but he had an eeriee feeling that that weird thing understood him. But then, a name went into his head, a name that labeled it by W.D. Gaster. "✌︎♐︎♐︎♓︎❒︎❍︎♋︎⧫︎♓︎❖︎♏︎📬︎" Gaster said. He wanted to back away from that thing, but he couldn't. "A paradox is born." the same voice said, except it was in perfect English. "GAH!" Flowey yelled out as he awoke from that horrid nightmare, jolting awake, panting for breath. "Man, that was a horrible dream." he panted. True, he was a flower, but even he had to breathe to talk. He went to rub his eyes with his leaves, but was met with... white, furry hands? "What!?" Flowey yelled once more. He looked to see them attached to equally furry arms cloaked in blue pajama sleeves. He looked around to see that he wasn't in the ruins, but in what looked like his old bedroom. To the left of his bed was a toybox filled with all his favorite toys, as well as a stuffed teddy bear that lay onto the bed, Flowey looked to see a night stand with a lamp. "This, is my old bedroom." he said. How far back in time was he, if this was time travel. He looked at the reflective surface of the lamp, which he was thankful for, to see the shocked face of Asriel Dreemurr staring back at him. "I'm... me again, but how?" Asriel said. For the first time, he noticed his voice. Not the sarcastic voice of Flowey, but the innocent voice of a child, the innocent voice that was his. The door opened, and he saw Asgore and Toriel, his parents, looking back at him. "Asriel, is there something wrong?" his mother's voice asked. "I just had the weirdest nightmare." Asriel replied before covering his mouth with his paws, again, not realizing how cute he sounded. The encounter with Gaster was very scary. Asriel flashed back, just as he was about to go to the afterlife, or what he thought was the afterlife, he wound up with the mysterious entity. Just when the weird dream was over, he had heard these words. "A paradox has arrived, what does that mean?" Asriel muttered. Asgore and Toriel looked in shock before the unconventional sound of his alarm clock rang in their ears, followed by the almost demanding growl in Asriel's stomach. "I think I might also be a bit hungry." Asriel replied sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. Man, that was awkward. "Well, we'll be in the kitchen once you're done getting ready for the morning." Asogre, his father, replied as they both went out the door, leaving Asriel to look around. "Welp, I guess I have to go with the flow." the young Dreemurr mumbled as he got up out of bed. He remembered his morning routine enough times, so, even with his days as a flower, he still got it a bit right. Make the bed, get dressed up in his clothes, brush teeth, etcetera, etcetera. When he went down the castle's stairs, he saw Toriel fixing some breakfast and Asgore tending to his flowers. He still did not know what that encounter meant, or what Gaster meant by the fact that a paradox has arrived, but what time was he in. "Mom? Dad? What is today?" Asriel asked. "Well, my child, today is October 7, 2010." Toriel replied. Asriel knew that day very well. That was the day that Chara fell to the Underground. They was traumatized by the fact of their parents, who abused her and even beat them to the point where they would bleed, no wonder they wanted to start another human-monster war just two years later. But maybe, he can reason with them so he wouldn't lose his best friend, his parents, and his life. "Why do you ask?" "My head's not in the right place after that nightmare." Asriel replied. He half-lied. True, he was confused by what has happened, but he highly doubted that was just a nightmare. At least his mom made the best pancakes that a young prince can ask for. But still, he didn't know why he was here, but he had a theory. Maybe his DETERMINATION was the reason why he was back here. He had RESET once, and knew how to manipulate time, but, it was all gone now. Yet he can still recall every RESET, and it is likely that he still has that ability to remember. While he was ten, the intelligence and memories of his older self and Flowey still remained. But what about Chara? Where are they? Meanwhile, Chara floated in the abyss, their red eyes looking into the timeline. "Well, that was one plan flushed down the drain. Whatever happened when that moron RESET, caused a "glitch" of sorts." Chara said. They hated their own kind because of their parents. If their mom and dad hated them, then everyone else did, too. Ever since the Villager Incident way back when, they lost their body and their SOUL. Chara just wished that whatever's left of them; their mind, would be able to go off into the afterlife as well. Their gaze turned to the top of Mount Ebbott, where, not a human, but something else entirely fell. "I didn't remember this happening at all." they thought aloud as they saw an unfamiliar shape fall in their place. A small basket fell down the mountain instead. It looked like one of those picnic baskets, although the blanket covering it was a pure white color instead of the checkered coloring. When their parents were caught abusing them and were punished, Chara was sent to an orphanage, but they didn't love them, either. No one did, no one. except Asriel. He was the only one who got them. So why did they make that stupid plan, anyway? Speaking of Asriel, he was heading towards the place, and he had a shocked expression on his face, almost as if he knew that it wasn't how things were supposed to be. "So, you really do remember what happened after all. Welp, this might be interesting to watch." Chara said bluntly. They watched as Asriel looked in confusion at the box before carrying it all the way to his parents. When they went into their retreat in the Ruins, they opened it to see a small, purple horse inside. By the looks of it, it was a unicorn foal with a dark blue mane and tail with purple and pink highlights, wrapped in swaddling clothes. It somehow unwrapped its own blanket, revealing large, lavender wings on either side. Chara had expected many things, but this was honestly quite unexpected, to say the least. As soon as they went back to New Home, they went to the Royal Scientist, Dr. Alphys, to investigate this new being. "Astounding! Even though it shares the same qualities as monsters, its, or rather, her body is made up of physical matter like a human's, as well as being able to hold DETERMINATION." Alphys said as she looked at the papers. "And, to top it all off, it is just as intelligent as either one. She's all yours, I guess." Alphys said. "Thanks, Dr. Alphys, you have our gratitude. Asriel, what do you think about your little sister?" Toriel said as the young prince looked at the alicorn foal. "She's okay, I guess." Asriel said. "A little strange, but in a cute way." Truth be told, that was actually what he thought about the filly. But deep down, his blood ran cold. This filly was a lot like the monsters and shared some of the same characteristics as them, yet was also able to hold DETERMINATION like humans were able to. From what he knew and feared, that would mean that the amalgamates would still exist in some form in this timeline. "Speaking of which, she needs a name. How about, Twilight? What do you think?" Asgore said. Asriel knew of his father's horrible ability of naming, but for that one time, it actually fit. "For once, that actually fits." Toriel said. Asriel nodded in agreement as they left Alphys's lab. Deep down, they knew it was going to be a whole other ball game for this filly, but Asriel, despite his newly-forged big brother-little sister bond, was a bit worried about what would happen in the future. This is a new Underground and a new timeline, and he hoped that he can steer it in a direction where he would not end up a soulless flower like in the old one. He looked at the filly as they went back to their castle at New Home. The ruins were never pleasant to him. Prologue: Arrival at the CastleIt has been quite some time since they had taken the newly-named Twilight to Doctor Alphys to see what kind of creature she was. She was a lot like the monsters, and can use magic, but her SOUL was more like that of a human's and her body was made up of physical matter like one. The Dreemurrs adopted her into the family, and they were on their way to their castle at New Home. Young Twilight was fast asleep in a stroller pushed by Toriel, and the prince still felt a bit confused on the inside, but at least he's warming up to her steadily. Speaking of Twilight, she woke up to see a massive building in the horizon. She looked in awe at the massive structure before her, but what is this thing anyway? She looked at the building as her new family went towards it. The two guards at either upper window went into the building and opened the main gates from within. Asriel never thought he'd ever see them open the gates for him again when he became Flowey, but he was no longer Flowey. As for Asgore and Toriel, they were around before the castle was built, both were over 90,000 years old. Gerson was still older at age 150,000. "Golly, whatever are you gonna be?" Asriel whispered as he looked towards the now awake filly, who just eyed the new surroundings of hers. During their trip back to the castle, they went to get a couple of things for the baby, such as new diapers, some baby powder, and a few toys. When she grows bigger, if anything else was left unchanged, Asriel knew that the other seven humans would fall into the Underground. He was still Flowey at the time, so "Asriel" never got any older than when he died, and it would take the power of seven human SOULs to resynch his age, as he remembered what would happen at one of the several Pacifist routes Frisk went through. Although, the last one was a Neautral route, and he could've sworn he saw a tinge of red in Frisk's eyes. But with Chara either nonexistent or just didn't fall and die, then what would become of Frisk? The personalities of the other six fallen children would likely remain the same, but for all he knew, Frisk would be completely different from what they were at the original timeline from when he was Flowey. He'd have to be prepared for anything with them. He shook his head and looked to see that he and his parents were at an empty room. "From what I'm seeing, you're thinking about turning this into her room, huh?" Asriel asked as they all looked at the empty space. "Yes, it is. You seem so talkative today. Usually, you're very quiet." Asgore replied. Asriel knew he had a point. He didn't have any friends until he met Chara, and momentarily Frisk during the Pacifist route endings. "I feel good that I have a new sibling." Asriel replied. That was extremely truthful, and he hadn't felt that way since Chara fell into the underground. For the first time, Chara had someone that loved her. At first, they were a little scared, but they warmed up to their new family in time. But since Twilight is a baby, or in her case, a foal, the Underground would be all she knew until the barrier's broken. To her, this will be her home. He knew the powers of DETERMINATION, but it needed a save point to activate. All the save points were either gone or he could no longer see them. "What do you think she might need?" Asriel said before he saw Twilight stretch her hooves to her sides and proceed to suck her hoof, flapping her wings to get a comfortable spot in the stroller. "We might need a new cradle." Toriel replied as they saw the filly fall back asleep. They spent a few minutes thinking about what she'd need. New diapers are one thing. Thankfully, she wasn't wet her first one yet, and they might need to get some quick. Baby food is another thing, they have some spare milk in the freezer to keep her full for a while, Toriel never burned down her pies, but you can never be too prepared. They were also talking about how to decorate her room. They were a bit puzzled on how Asriel knew how the surface looked, but luckily for the young prince, they assumed he just read a book about it. In the end, they decided on what to get her. Until the room was properly painted, Twilight would stay with Asriel for a while, but he didn't mind. And besides, she was still just a foal, and he needed someone to talk to when he was alone, other than his stuffed animals. He carried his new diary, which, he was half-thankful that it was blank. His parent's didn't bother to do anything with it, so they gave it to him as a birthday present before he met Chara. Twilight was just changed and made herself comfortable in her crib. When no one was looking, Asriel went to his desk and began writing. "Dear Diary..." he said as he wrote on his book. "This is technically my first entry, but I also wrote on this book in another timeline, after I met Chara. Strange coincidence, huh? Anyway, I spent my time as a soulless flower after a little incident in the other timeline, Mom and Dad broke up, and I was an outcast who literally was incapable of empathy. That may and/or may not have changed when I met Frisk. The human first encountered me in the Ruins before travelling through nearly the whole Underground, minus Jungula and Deseret, which were at the other side of New Home. There, I, or Flowey, as my dad called that thing, absorbed the six SOULs. Me and Frisk fought, and, they spared me, only for me to find that a certain robot brainwashed everyone with his show. The kid RESET for the first time, and this time, I aimed even higher than before, absorbing nearly every SOUL in the Underground, transforming into the God of Hyperdeath. Cool name for an awesome final form, not gonna lie. It would've been over unless Chara RESET without Frisk knowing it. It eventually became a series of fights over the RESET button, or so I assume, from what Frisk told me. Eventually, Chara managed to take full control of the body on one RESET and kill EVERYONE. After a completed Genocide route and an unexpected fight against Sans, I knew that I had to do something on the other reset. So, I absorbed the six SOULs over again, but like the other times, the kid beat me to it..." Asriel stopped writing for a moment before looking at Twilight, who was busy sleeping for now. "...but for whatever weird reason, this 'glitch' occurred, and I encountered a strange, half-melted being who spoke in a weird language. I awoke with a start, first thinking it was a nightmare. In a way, I think it was. I found not a small daisy, but the face of a Dreemurr boy in his middle childhood, my face. I also found out that this way the day that Chara fell, or, did not fall. Instead, I had found a small basket, in it, was a strange combination of pegasus and unicorn from Greek mythology, and yes, we have human archives in our libraries. After a quick analysis from Alphys, we adopted the small horse, naming her Twilight. As her room is being set up, she'll be staying in my room for a while. Your's truly," Asriel was about to write "Flowey" before looking at his arms. "...Asriel Dreemurr." In my headcanon, they were children when they fell, so, expect to see some of them grow up along with Asriel and Twilight. Unlike Frisk and Chara, the six humans will have genders. I haven't figured out the kinks yet, but I've been thinking that Justice and Bravery would be male, and Preservence and Integrity will be female. I haven't figured out Kindness and Patience yet. Prologue: Twilight's New HomeAsriel sat on his desk, writing on his book. "Dear Diary. It's been a week since we adopted Twilight. She has been proven to be much more of a handful than I was, being able to fly and use magic so early in her life, it took Mom and Dad to calm her down when she had a nightmare." He looked to see the filly, who was still asleep in her crib. "Twilight was behaving rather well for a foal, although she does get a little anxious about flash photography and tends to let out a loud wail that would likely be able to break glass. Although I still have my memories of the original timeline and all the RESETs, I have that wonder that all children have. It's not bad, it's just in nature, and maybe a little bit because of the fact that it is a new timeline. Today, however, Twilight's room is about to be complete. Hope she likes it." Closing the journal with a satisfying clap from the book, the Prince of the Underground heard the door creak open. "Oh, hey Mom, hey Dad." Asriel said. "Hey, Asriel. Her room was just completed now." Asgore said as he and Toriel walked into the room. "My child, do you want to see it?" Toriel asked. Asriel knew that it was time for hi to say goodbye for now, but he still knew that she was his sister, and that he can see her any time, figuratively speaking. He got up and nodded his head. "You have grown rather attached to her. Don't worry, many new siblings do have that same kind of bond." Twilight's room was next door to Asriel's. Originally, it had been a storeroom before his birth, then was abandoned for one reason or another. They didn't really have any purpose for it, so they left it empty for stock, but now, with Twilight in the family, they did have a purpose for it. "And here we are at the Kingdom of Princess Twilight." Asriel said in a more joking tone, which made his parents almost chucke. The room was cleaned up with a new carpet floor with a changing table on one corner and a few boxes here and there. Another one of the room's corners was supposed to be where the crib would be. As for the walls, they were painted as an open grassland littered with flowers and the occasional oak tree or two, not in the Underground, but on the surface. A light blue sky was painted on the ceiling, and a giant sun encircled the base of the ceiling fan, which was already lit up and spinning. "Wow, I think that she'll love it." Asriel commented. "Well, son, you have to thank the designers we hired for their handiwork." Asgore replied. "Now all we have to do is bring Twilight's crib into here." Toriel said as they exited the room. He wasn't that strong as either of his parents, who were carrying the crib, but he didn't blame himself, he was a child, after all. "Huff, and that's that." the Queen of the Underground said. "My children, what do you think?" Asriel was with Twilight, getting to know her. He had a feeling that the filly would need a big brother or some other older sibling to depend on, and he would have to do. She was in her stroller, looking at awe and babbling at the new world within the room. "Wow, I think she likes it." Asriel replied as Twilight got up and began flying around. At first, they were a bit worried, but she looked around at the new place, soaking in every detail. Her crib was right in the corner, waiting for her comfort, so, she flew in and lay down, closing her eyes as she fell fast asleep within it before letting out a quiet rumble within her tummy. She woke up and blushed in embarrassment, it was lunchtime. So, the family of four went into their private dining room to eat. The great hall was only reserved for special affairs and when guests arrive, and he first went into it during holidays when he was about six, as he was too young to handle it before that. As for Twilight, he guessed that she might be able to go there around the same time he did, but he never knew, as she was a fast learner, and she also matures a little fast than average, if what he remembered was true, then she might become one of the smartest people in the underground when she grows up, seconded only by Gaster and Alphys, who were Royal Scientists. She still stuck her hoof in her baby food, while messy, was still very cute to watch. How she learned to unscrew the bottle was rather a mystery, but they all assumed she just watched it happen. "I've been wondering about Twilight, she's still just a baby, or foal, in her case, and I've been a bit worried about her and flash photography." Both Asgore and Toriel went silent. They knew that babies were sensitive, but Twilight was another story. She is capable of more than one type of magic, and, if not careful, could destroy the city. Only a select few monsters, such as Sans and Captain Undyne, were capable of that, SOUL based magic does count after all. "Ah, that. You are pretty new to this, but non-flash photography was invented a few days before you were born." Asgore exclaimed. "But it hasn't been used since then, so we might as well put it to good use." Toriel added. She knew about babies very well, despite Asriel being the only one she bore. The memories of Asriel as a newborn were still there, but even though time may have taken its toll, it was as clear as the cleanest glass. Twilight didn't know what they were talking about, and just shrugged it off and continued to chew on her baby food with her nonexistent teeth before dragging whatever remained on her lips into her mouth with her tongue. How she stuffs so much food in her small little body without releasing herself within the next hour or so, OR gaining any weight is a true mystery to her new family. She didn't understand that, though, she was just a foal. When the Dreemurrs had finished their meals, the next step was to spread the word. Flashless photography was now more common, so it was much easier finding those cameras. "Alright, smile." the photographer said to the filly. She tilted her head in confusion while Asriel stood by her side, and then, the picture was taken. Underground Daily, New Home A New Princess is Adopted by the Royal Family The Dreemurr family has adopted another child, a tiny horse sharing some of the qualities of monsters. They named the little one, "Twilight Dreemurr", which is surprisingly good for King Asgore's naming skills. They said that Asriel found her in a basket that supposedly fell into the Underground. The Royal Scientist, Doctor Alphys Gekko, has been credited for finding out that Twilight was sentient, but she still hasn't figured out what she was exactly, and why she is capable of holding DETERMINATION. Anyone can volunteer in her new experiments. See-- "well, bless those poor souls." a small skeleton said as he looked at the newspaper. Sans sighed, knowing that these poor monsters will likely suffer the same fate. He woke up with a start after that last run, all he saw was glitches and what looked like Dr. Gaster himself. He was once a scientist, working alongside his cousin, they built the Core. Gaster wanted to go back in time and stop the war before it happened. And then, he and several others fell in, with Sans and several others witnessing it all happen. After that, no one remembered, but him. A bolt of energy struck his left eye, causing it to glow an eerie blue. Gaster was wiped from existence, and Sans can now see into alternate timelines. It took him weeks to learn how to control his visions, and he had tried everything to bring his friend back, but gave up and hung his lab coat, moving into his brother's house at Snowdin. Thankfully, that happened before Asriel met Chara, or should it be said as, never met Chara. When Sans woke up, he saw Papyrus trying to stop his nap in their house in Snowdin, which was normal. What was not normal, was that the world was a lot different. There was no mention of Chara, Frisk, or any of the fallen humans, some of the monsters were younger than usual, and the most shocking and obvious thing, Asriel Dreemurr was alive. He knew then and now that he was back in time. He knew that Asriel would likely remember the runs, so he never bothered to try and stop Chara from carrying out her plan, but the newspaper had a different image. It was of Asriel Dreemurr, standing next to a small, purple horse, an alicorn, he believed that they were called, tilting her head in confusion. "SANS, WAKE UP LAZYBONES- OH, YOU GOT THE NEWSPAPER, HUH?" the familiar voice of his brother yelled out. The skeleton got up and went into the living room. Both he and Papyrus haven't bothered to change their looks since Gaster was wiped from existance, and, in a way, he was comfortable. "yep, you could say i was horsing around here." Sans said. Papyrus groaned in annoyance as his older, yet shorter brother chuckled. At least some things were familiar. "i've seen many other things, but the foaltality of it all is that king asgore and queen toriel seem to have a new heir." "SANS! DO YOU EVER STOP WITH THOSE REDICULOUS PUNS?" Papyrus said, covering his ears. "I'M GONNA GO GET TO MY... PLACE IF YOU NEED ME." Papyrus said as he went out of the room. "keep it all to yourself, pap. this'll be interesting to watch." Sans said as he snapped his fingers. Papyrus knew that his brother can teleport, but Sans knew better than to abuse it. He went to the bridge, looking out into the chasm. He took a deep breath, walking towards the other side, and, without a thought, went into the wondorous world of sleep. Ever since the incident, he has full control over his dreams, which would allow him to formulate his next move. While he may seem all lazy, he was most active in the mind. While in his dream world, he had an imaginary laboratory. "man, this has gone to a turn for the strange. so much for stopping chara, but maybe that is a good thing. maybe i can work with this. flowey's back to being asriel again, so he can still feel empathy. but what about twilight? what will happen with her?" Sans materialized the picture from the newspaper in his hand. "she's an oddball, but i remember hearing several humans talking about 'ponies' here and there before waking up back in snowdin. as of now, i just have to keep playing it cool. with the dreemurrs taking care of her, she'll likely be a benevolent figure. but i might not want to jump into any conclusions yet, maybe when she matures, it'll be one thing." Sans was half-satisfied, but he felt a small grumble coming from his nonexistent stomach. "welp, time for lunch. grillby's is still just as nice as i remember." Sans said. With the snap of a finger, he woke up. Taking another one of his shortcuts, he went back to Snowdin town, right in the back of a building. He calmly walked across the town and into the restaurant. He was thinking about a nice burger and fries combo for lunch. I'm thinking that this will be the last part of the Prologue, so next arc, I've been thinking about introducing the fallen humans, either one by one or in pairs. I haven't thought of what I'm gonna do with Frisk yet, though.
Prologue: New WorldAuthor's Note Alright, I had an Undertale/MLP Crossover before, but, it was a bit less on the original side of things.
"...Asriel Dreemurr." I haven't figured out the kinks yet, but I've been thinking that Justice and Bravery would be male, and Preservence and Integrity will be female.
