Royal cousins, Skyward and Orion, always were best friends. Not one pony could make them believe otherwise, and everything was all sunshine and rainbows for the family.

Or... it was until Orion was hit by an unknown monster, giving him a deep scar along his shoulder, running downwards to his back. He was never the same again, and Skyward knew this very well. Everyone knew this.

One night, Orion vanishes into the basement part of the castle, and Skyward follows, until he passes out while following, and wakes to find himself back in his room. The room he shared with Orion. There he is told Orion cannot be found, and vanished.

Fifteen years later, Skyward has had enough of his missing cousin, and beings his adventure on finding him. Despite the claims of Orion being dead.
