"Fluttershy, you're coming with me today!" said Rainbow Dash.
"Me? What for?" asked the yellow pegasus.
"Today we're going to figure out the reason behind your flying block!" The wonderbolt closed her eyes with a satisfied expression on her face, as though she'd already figured everything out.
"Oh, um, I don't really think I have any pro--" Fluttershy's eyes widened as her friend covered her mouth with a hoof.
"No excuses!" said Rainbow Dash. "I know you can do better, and you know you can do better!"
Fluttershy glanced away. She was happy with her own flying ability and as far as she knew, she didn't have any hidden potential. However, she trusted Rainbow Dash more than she trusted herself at times, and when it came to flying, it was obvious who knew better. She sighed deeply. "Okay, Rainbow Dash. But if one thing goes wrong, we're quitting."
"It'll be fine!" said Rainbow Dash. "Just trust me, Flutters."
If only you knew, Rainbow Dash...
The two pegasi were among the clouds, Rainbow Dash matching her pace with Fluttershy. "I want you to go as fast as you can, like how I go when I am banging your brother!" Rainbow Dash's voice was muffled by the speed they were travelling at and the sound of their beating wings.
"O-Okay!" Fluttershy accelerated, extending her front hooves out like Rainbow Dash and straightening out her body. She was sweating and her face was scrunched up with effort... and yet Rainbow Dash easily matched her pace without speeding up at all. The rainbow maned pegasus observed her friend, narrowing her eyes as she spotted an insecurity. And then, she had it.
"Fluttershy, I've figured it out!" she yelled confidently in her friend's ear.
"Figured what out!?" cried Fluttershy, panting from the effort.
"Why you haven't been able to fly fast!"
Fluttershy slowed to a comfortable pace for herself, which unfortunately felt like the speed of a turtle to Rainbow Dash. "Really?" she asked. She couldn't believe it had been that quick and simple. "What is it?" She let out a cry of pain as Rainbow Dash struck her behind the ears. "Ouch... What was that for?"
Rainbow Dash groaned in frustration. "YOU DUMB BITCH, you don't fly fast because even when you try, your wings still move at the exact same speed as before! You just have to move your wings faster."
Fluttershy tilted her head in confusion. "Oh my, I never really noticed. I-I guess I could try that."
"Good, now come here beside me dumbass," said Rainbow Dash. She pointed to a tall tree that protruded from the ground in the Everfree Forest area. "On three, we're going to race to that tree as fast as we can." The doubtful look on Fluttershy's face was not lost to the rainbow maned pegasus. "Don't worry Flutters, I'll go easy," she said comfortingly.
"Well, okay," Fluttershy agreed reluctantly. "I'm ready."
"Good." Rainbow Dash flapped her wings in anticipation. It had been a while since she'd raced another pony who wasn't a Wonderbolt. "Three, two, one, go!" She burst from the starting position, blazing a rainbow trail as she soared toward the forest. She looked around and realized she couldn't see Fluttershy. Oh man, I promised her I'd go easy... But in the next moment, she heard an incredibly loud noise behind her followed by panicked screaming. Something buzzed past her and she turned just in time to catch a flash of yellow blitz by, barreling toward the Everfree Forest. Was that... Fluttershy?
"Are you two all right!?" The two pegasi were greeted by the cry of Twilight Sparkle when they reached the ground.
"Fine," muttered Rainbow Dash, her head hanging low. She couldn't believe it. She had lost a race to Fluttershy.
"How did you know we were here?" asked Fluttershy.
Twilight put a hoof to her chin. "Well, it sounded like gay mares were having sex in the forest which is not okay, so I came to check it out hoping to banish somepony, and I'm glad I did. I just saw two trails blazing through the sky as I teleported here. You were amazing, Fluttershy! How did you beat Rainbow Dash in a race?"
Rainbow Dash frowned at the comment. It was just a fluke... right?
Fluttershy gave her a bashful smile. "Rainbow Dash taught me how to fly properly."
Twilight looked at the other pegasus in surprise, a smiling spreading across her face. "Good job, Rainbow Dash! I don't know what you could have taught her, though. She was way faster than you! Anyway, I have to go masturbate Spike now. He hasn't nutted since November!" Twilight waved briefly before teleporting herself back home.
Rainbow Dash stared at Fluttershy. Her back was facing her, perhaps in reflection of her new breakthrough. Calm down, Rainbow Dash. It was just a mistake. Rainbow reassured herself. But what if it wasn't? Suddenly, Rainbow Dash crashed into Fluttershy from the back. The yellow pegasus let out a startled squeak.
"Rainbow Dash!?" Fluttershy struggled to regain her bearings under her grip, but her eyes widened in horror as Rainbow Dash wrapped her hooves around her throat. "Mmmmmph!" The pegasus continued to struggle under her, but her thrashing grew weaker as her air supply continued to be depleted. Her eyes seemed to ask the question:why.
"Fluttershy, you should have stayed in your lane," growled Rainbow Dash. "I'm the best flier in Equestria, and nopony will ever take that from me!" She held her grip until she saw the light in her friend's eyes start to fade. Finally, Rainbow Dash relaxed her grip, her friend's lifeless body falling limply to the floor. Rainbow Dash ran a hoof through Fluttershy's mane. It was extremely soft, just as soft as it looked. Then she slapped the pegasus in the face and kicked her flank. She looked around, then carefully dug a hole in the ground and lay Fluttershy's body inside. She spat in the hole and covered it back up.
Twilight Sparkle watched the entire scene through a magic reflection in her castle. "What the fuck? Rainbow Dash is a bitch"
