Shortly after the Canterlot Wedding, Twilight awakens in a strange place. She realizes that she was swiped during the night and taken to Chrysalis' Hive. Unable to use her magic, she can't defend herself when Chrysalis uses her body and covers her in a cocoon of gooey green scat in order to convert her into a changeling. 

Afterward, Twilight must prove her loyalty to her new hive mother by harvesting sperm from her own brother and implanting eggs in him, knowing it will be eventually fatal for him. When he can't hold them all, Chrysalis offers another little foal hostage to store the remainder.
