Set in a Alternate universe, Faris, a Arabian-Equestrian Hybrid is sent to apprentice under a master enchanter in his home country of Saddle Arabia. Blessed through unwanted connections to be at the forefront of a technology on the rise he turns outward for an escape. All the while realizing that the art of enchanting, his enchanting particularly, is coming into a new focus as the continent moves forward to a new age of promised prosperity. The Great war now fading behind the country as a subject that few beings wish to talk about above a whisper, the feeling of hope growing with the advancement of enchanting.

Meanwhile other species could care less, for they lack even the necessary number of stallions to continue forward. Stuck in the past, their wounds still fresh in their minds they plot and plans begin to amass.
