Yami was wandering the halls of his Puzzle, lost in thought. I wonder who I really am...

"Pharaoh, everything ok?" Yugi said looking at his partner.

Yami looked over at him and shrugged. "I'm just wondering who I am is all. The usual."

"I'm sorry you don't have your memories, Pharaoh, but i will be here to help u every step of the way." Yugi said putting his hand on Yami's shoulder.

"Thanks." Yami noticed a door at the end of the hall with a faint glow around the edges. He felt an instant draw to it. "What's that?"

"I don't know , I've never seen that door before, have you, Yami?" said Yugi, looking at the door wide-eyed.

"No, I haven't. Let's take a look what's on the other side." Yami suggested.

"Be careful Yami, we don't know what could await us." Yugi looked concerned.

"Don't worry, we can face it." Yami strode forward and reached out for the door, pulling the door open. The bright light became wider as he opened it, revealing a large school building, the grounds swarming with teenagers. "What is this place?"

"I don't know but people seem friendly enough, maybe that door to our puzzle lead us to an alternate dimension." Yugi whispered as he gave a fellow teenager a small wave.

As if a vacuum had been turned on the two teens were sucked into the world and everything they knew went black.

"Who are thoes two?" one teen whispered.

"whats up with their hair?" another said.

"Principal Celestia, where r u?" a teen called running off to find her.

Yami stirred and opened his eyes. He was staring up at a blue sky dotted with clouds and someone said, "One of them's awake." A young girl with light purple skin with dark hair, a pink stripe visible in her hair appeared in her vision. "Are you okay?" she asked, concerned.

"Yeah, I think so." Yami sat up, groaning.

"Hey! I've never seen you two before, my name's Twilight Sparkle, what are your names?" She said putting her hand out for Yami to take.

Yami took her hand as she helped him up. "Yami, and this is Yugi." As she helped Yugi to his feet.

"Where are you two from anyway? You look like brothers" Twilight smiled.

"We're from a place called Domino City." Yugi explained.

"Where in Equestria is that?" Twilight exclaimed.

"I don't think it's in Equestria." Yami replied, confused.

"Sorry, its just an expression, what school do you go to?" Twilight Sparkle asked.

"Domino High School. Would you show us around?" Yami gave her a hopeful smile.

"Sure, this is my school, Canterlot High, would you you like to come in & meet my friends?"

"We would love to. Lead the way." Yami smiled wider.

"Ok follow me. By the way I love your matching blue jackets. My friend Rarity is really into fashion." Twilight giggled as she lead them thru the open double doors.

Yami chuckled. "She'd love my friend Tea then."

"Hey , there's one of my friends now, Hey Fluttershy, I'd like you to meet Yami and Yugi." Twilight said point to each on respectively.

"Hi." Fluttershy said in a whisper and then blushed when she saw Yugi.

"Nice to meet you, girls." Atem smiled. Yugi only blushed.

"Um, are you ok?" Twilight giggled, looking at Yugi.

"He's shy, like your friend." Yami explained.

"No need to be shy Yugi, everyone here is really friendly." Twilight smiled encouragingly at him.

Yugi smiled in response. "I'm just nervous to be somewhere new." he explained quietly.

"Um, I-i like your b-bangs Yugi" Fluttershy whispered & blushed harder.

"Do you know a place where I can get him out of his shell? Meet new people?"

"Maybe once he meets everyone he will get more confident. Fluttershy was the same when we first met."

"He does better when he isn't in a really public place. Can you think of a way we can introduce him to your friends without all the public around?" Yami asked.

"Well the girls and I are having a sleepover tonight, would two like to come? It's at my place starting after school." Twilight offered.

"That would be great, wouldn't it, Yuge?" Yami looked over at Yugi.

"Just us and...girls?" Yugi gulped.

"I could ask AJ if she could bring her big brother with her, if that would help."

"I don't know if that would help, but we'll find something to do while you are at school and meet you here, okay?" Yami suggested. "Since we don't go to your school."

"I could ask Prinicpal Celestia to enroll you, then you can hang out with us at school and Yugi can get to know the others better" Twilight asked raising an eyebrow.

"Sure, lead the way."

Walking up to Celestias office Twilight knocked on the door "Excuse me Principal Celestia, we have two new students here that need enrolling" Twilight bowed as the door opened.

Principal Celestia looked up. "Ah, hello. Welcome to Canterlot High. Sit and we'll get started. Go on to class, Twilight."

"Yes ma'am. You will like our Principals, they are really nice." Twilight said with wink to Yami as she walked away and they walked into the office.

Principal Celestia got them enrolled and sent them on their way to their first class.

Meeting up outside the school gates, the nine friends began to walk to Twilight's place "How did you two enjoy your first day at Canterlot high?" Twilight asked.

"It was great, everyone was nice, especially you." Yami replied with a smile.

"Aww that is really sweet, thank you, I like meeting new people." Twilight smiled at Yami.

"How much farther is your place?" Yami asked, looking around.

"Not far, only one block to go, my place is the one with the dark Purple roof" Twilight pointed as RD and AJ ran up to Yami and started talking to him.

"Hey Yami right? Your hair is so cool, not as cool as mine though." Rainbow Dash said flicking her rainbow poytail.

"Stop showing off, Rainbow, you will scare the poor guy away. Nice to meet ya, the name's AppleJack but you can call me AJ." AJ smiled tipping her hat.

"Nice to meet you too." Yami nodded as Twilight stopped at her house. She unlocked the house and indicated that they sit anywhere and he sat on a comfy couch. "Nice place, Twilight."

Jumping over the back of the couch Rainbow Dash plopped down beside Yami while AJ more politely walked around and sat down next to him "So Yami, tell us abit about yourself." AJ said conversationally.

"I like games and a challenge." Yami responded.

"Hey we do too, AJ and I are super competitive. Wanna play a game with us?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Sounds fun, I'm game." Yami nodded. "What's the game?"

"How about snap, everyone knows how to play that, you look like the kinda guys who loves card games" Rainbow Dash said wriggling closer to Yami.

"Hm I have a better idea, what if Yami here kisses each one of us to see who he really likes, you game Yami?" AJ suggested.

The seven girls turned to Yami. Everyone waited for his reaction. He turned faintly pink at the question.
