Crazy's Wild Ride

A New Goal

Previous Chapter

Crazy was shaken back into consciousness by Jotaro. "Where the hell are we!"

"Come on, mom. Five more minutes." Crazy said in a tired voice and rolled over.

"Good grief Crazy, we have been captured and are imprisoned!" Jotaro shouted at Crazy.

"Oh yeah, about that..." Crazy said in a nervous voice. "Sorry, I could not evade them much more. I'll explain to you what happened."

Halfway through explaining the events that had led all the way up to this moment, Jotaro spoke up.

"That's great and all, but we have bigger things to worry about." It was then that he realized a noise coming from down the hall. It was the quiet trotting of hooves on the wooden floors.

The trotting got louder by the second. "Where are we anyway, we are not in a cell it looks like. Have you tried using that door up there Jotaro?" Crazy asked him.

"Yeah, it won't budge. Even my stand could not open that mysteriously strong door." Crazy looked around.

"We seem to be in some sort of basement. Due to the quantity of the books on the walls, this could be the basement of some sort of library." Crazy observed.

Jotaro spoke again, but spoke urgently. "We should hide and attack once it has it's back turned to one of us giving an opening." Crazy nodded to him. Jotaro jumped over to a couch in the corner of the room. The door slammed open. Crazy had located his spot and was hiding behind it on the other side of the room.

Crazy heard a voice from the top of the stairs. "The war against humans is over you know, they surrendered."

"WHAT! IT IS!" Crazy responded from behind the horrible spot he chose to hide in, behind the comically thin lamp pole. He could hear Jotaro face palm from the other side of the room. Crazy walked out from behind his cover.

"Yes, it has been for around a month since they surrendered." The pony in question came into view. It was a purple colored unicorn with a pink stripe in it's mane.

Wait, you were the pony I saw when I fell off of a cliff into your house! Crazy thought to himself. He had a plan to act like it never happened at all in the conversation. He was already at a disadvantage here.

"Oh, yeah. My name is Twilight Sparkle, me and my friends tracked you two down to tell you the war was over! One of the princesses tried to tell you before but you guys ran off. So me and my friends got you to tell you about it." Oh, so that princess of the night was telling the truth. I feel kind of bad about attacking her now... Twilight continued to speak.

"I would let you stay here, but my home is not exactly in the best condition at the time. Something came through the wall the other day. I am still trying to find what hit..." Before Twilight could continue rambling on and on, Crazy spoke up.

"Sorry to bother you, and thank you for the news! But, I am afraid I must be leaving now." Crazy motioned Jotaro to follow him.

They were about to walk out the door when they heard Twilight's voice behind them. "WAIT!" She shouted to them. Crazy jumped and turned around, clearly stunned. Jotaro calmly turned around, his face remaining expressionless. "Don't you need a place to stay... I have friends that can give you find a place."

Crazy opened his mouth to speak but Jotaro spoke before him. "We'll manage on our own." Crazy agreed with his statement, he just found out the war is over and now they just up and offer him a place to stay, sounds kind of fishy. I am glad you did that, now I can get out of this weird place. Crazy walked up the stairs into the main room of the tree home.

He felt pretty happy about the war being over. Jotaro followed up the stairs shortly after. Crazy looked at the hole in the library wall seeing how he would exit the tree. He climbed up the wall to the hole and made his way through it.

When he hit the ground below he heard a door open next to him. Jotaro had used the front door. "Well, this is the part where we split up... I guess." Crazy said to Jotaro.

Jotaro did not turn around to face him, but instead continued looking ahead while he spoke. "Later." It was a simple response. But, it was the best possible response to tell Crazy coming from him. Crazy grinned.

"Yeah." He responded simply. Jotaro steadily walked out of the town.

Crazy had lost sight of Jotaro after around five minutes. He spoke to himself. "Well, I am going to need a job." It was at this point that he started to look around the area. I could go into town but I would cause a commotion... Screw it, I'm going in.

Crazy looked for job signs in the area that looked like the shopping center. No job signs? I must look harder! It was at this point Crazy realized something.

Wait an minute, why do I need money anyway? Can't I just live in the woods? Time to go build a house in the woods! Crazy thought to himself. I am surprised that I did not think of this before. Am I an idiot or something? No... I'm just crazy. Crazy went into the woods and started building his new home for the time being.

It was sundown, Crazy was looking at the frame to the home he built. "It's... Perfect." Crazy was standing up hands on his hips admiring the literal piece of trash he just made. It was only the frame of the house, but it still looked like crap regardless. Maybe I should have started with a lean-too shelter first. Well, can't change the past! Time to sleep! Crazy got some leaves and put them in a stack to lay on. "Ah, the best time to sleep. Goodnight me. Hopefully, my luck is not as bad tonight." He said to himself.
