//-------------------------------------------------------// Crazy's Wild Ride -by unbounded- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Gate of Hell //-------------------------------------------------------// The Gate of Hell Crazy was his nickname, but his real name was Chan Linniac. He has blue eyes and curly, dirty blonde hair. His parents used to torment him by nicknaming him 'Crazy', eventually he came to accept this as part of life and carried on with the name of Crazy. Very few currently know his name. At the moment Crazy has no ties to his family, except for the last name Linniac. Crazy used to live with his brother who home-schooled him, but eventually he left as well. Crazy is living in a Crappy apartment in the ghetto part of New York City, it was essentially a closet. He had trained with martial arts for the past two years so he could survive long enough to find a place to sleep. He was nothing short of a prodigy, and was the only student at The Way of the Monk dojo. He dropped out of college to continue his studies at the dojo... That and he was very poor. These things called gates opened up in three different universes, to send them each to one destination. Equestria. Crazy's crappy life took a turn for the worst one day when he and a lot of others entered a gate on one fateful day... 12:30 pm, 04\12\12 Crazy gets up from his mattress on the floor, and immediately hits a pipe above his head. "GOD DAMN IT!" He then gets up properly and hits the thick cement wall next to him cracking part of it... Once again. Yes, again. He hits it daily and the more he hits it the more severe the wall gets damaged. This is because he had done intense physical training daily for the past two years. That and his muscles have remained around the same size for the past two years, which is not much at all. This infuriated him to no end, because he was strong and agile but could not show it. A letter came through the slot on his door. This snapped Crazy out of his little fit of rage. What was that?. In a bit of a daze, Crazy goes up and gets the letter. What kind of idiot would send advertising to a person who has to steal to survive? He flipped around the letter to see what was written on the front. It had nothing written, not even a stamp. Strange... He opened the letter curious to what it may contain. His whole life he had the curse of bad luck. It got even worse when he was asleep, or close to asleep. But what he saw on the letter just saw his bad luck and punched it in the face, making it more angry and harsh and taking its rage out on him. It was a military draft. What! I'm not even old enough to get one of these! Looking again he saw that he had no choice in the matter. Crazy lived in a crappy neighborhood and had a very low income. This was the chance he needed. Crazy grinned. Maybe, it isn't all that bad after all. Crazy then proceeded to hotwire a ghetto car and go to the specified location. But first the dojo. He parked outside of the dojo and got outside of the car. Crazy ran inside. His master Xiao was meditating in the corner. Crazy walked up to him. "I have come to say my goodbyes." Xiao opened up an eye and sighed. "I always knew it would come down to this, when you leave like all the others. Go." Crazy grinned at his masters approval. "Its been a long two years hasn't it Xiao." "OH JUST GET GOING ALREADY!" Crazy grinned as he ran out the door to my ghetto ride. He got in and started driving to his destination. After a couple of hours on the road, Crazy made it to the military base. Before he did though he crashed the car in a nearby ditch before walking on inside the military base. Crazy approached the front desk. The person at the front desk was kind enough. He looked at the draft and pointed Crazy in the right direction of his squadron. This location was hangar 217 in the back of the base. "Well, go get a move on I haven't got all day. Here let me guide you to your hangar." The entrance person said, even though Crazy knew that was a lie. "My name is Dave Sheppardson. That's not related to the topic at hand but still, you need to know these proper safety routes Nuke. A couple of years ago, I saw a Nuke just like you strolling to the hangar but then one of the jet engines sucked him in and tore him to shreds." Crazy was not too interested in what happened to the poor cadet but in fact more interested in the fact that he said it so casually. It creeped him out but introduced the thought of worse things were happening around here. Crazy kept his mouth shut because Dave was probably a higher ranked 'cadet' than him in this place. They arrive at the hangar, and with a silent goodbye to Dave, Crazy headed inside. The first thing Crazy heard in the hangar was. "FROM NOW ON YOU WILL ADDRESS ME AS SIR! DO YOU UNDERSTAND YOU BOOT LICKING MAGGOT!" Crazy holds his head high and was about to head into the wrong room room when an officer at the door grabbed Crazy's shoulder. "I'm going to need to see your draft cadet." The military officer asked motionlessly. Crazy pulls out the letter and shows it to the officer. "I see. You are one of the lucky ones! Room 104 cadet." The man handed the letter back. This however spawned more questions in Crazy's mind. What does he mean by one of the 'lucky ones', also where is this room? He was about to ask the officer why he called Crazy a lucky one considering his curse of bad luck that followed him wherever he went. But the officer started talking before Crazy could speak. "Oh yeah. You are new here. Room 104 is down the halls and take two lefts then a right. And in the middle of the hall will be the room." The officer patted him on the back and said, "Good luck kid." This mildly pissed him off due to the condescending tone but he stayed silent due to thinking he could get possibly get in trouble. Crazy walked through the quiet and long hallways and each turn he noticed that the doors seemed older the further he went in. When Crazy reached room 104 the door luckily got replaced and had a brand new door for him to open. After standing around and waiting for a moment, Crazy decided that the best course of action was to actually open the door. Well, moment of Truth. He opened the door slowly and noticed a lot of other people that were mostly in uniform except for a select few. Sadly, nobody seemed to be around his age. They all sat in chairs placed around the room messily. There was around 400 chairs and most were full. Crazy decided to sit down next to a few other people in the corner of the room that were silent. Ah... Introverts! These are the people I need right now. He quietly sat in the corner of the small group. He was going to speak up but stopped before any words were exchanged. The reason why he stopped is because he saw something writing on the poster in the middle. To be honest it was more like a classroom than a place where military personnel were kept. The poster said the following, 'Stay in your seats until Capt. Radley arrives.' Around an hour passed until the door opened to reveal Capt. Radley enter the room. He was in his late 40's and had numerous medals on his uniform. His hair was tinted grey from stress and age and maybe even numerous battles. He spoke up with pride in his voice, "Cadets!" The room fell into silence as they heard the intimidating shout. "Listen up, I'll say this once and only once. DO YOU UNDERSTAND! You are to enter that room and wait for my instruction till further notice. AM I CLEAR! " Immediately after he said this Yes's and Yes sir's could be heard around the room and everybody walked into the room to the immediate front right of Crazy. Crazy waked slowly forwards analyzing his surroundings. Capt. Radley approached behind him. "Your the last one maggot. NOW GET MOVING." He shouted making me get inside of the room. Okay jeez I get it! I'm going! By the time Crazy got there he was the last one inside. When he turned around to look at Capt. Radley, all he saw was a shutting door behind him. There was no handle on the door for Crazy to hold onto so he could prevent it from shutting. He was about to grab hold of the door by the side when it was slammed in his face. The door was solid metal and would not budge. He heard the ring an intercom of some sort. "…........ For all of you 16 greenhorns here with us today we are going to tell you something so listen closely. And everybody else, get in your rows!" Around him were around 14 people looking up in confusion with normal clothes compared to everyone else's military equipment. He could not find the 16th person around anywhere. The uniformed 'cadets' got into columns and lined up in front of a wall all the while the 'greenhorns' aka Crazy and 15 other new people there. The intercom rung again. "........ If you come back from this nation after winning the battle, you will be given a relaxing life making seven thousand every week doing nothing at all! You will also be excused from paying taxes EVER AGAIN. All you have to do is come back victorious and alive. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE AND WIN THIS WAR." He shouted making Crazy's ears ring a little. Suddenly the uniformed soldiers surrounded us and pushed us to the front. The wall now behind Crazy opened and there was a large blue swirling energy that he could only assume was some sort of entrance. It covered where the wall used to be. After turning back around along with the rest of the 'greenhorns' we met face to face with the barrel of guns. "Enter now. Or die." Said the officers in unison now holding us at gunpoint. Around two people away from Crazy a girl started sobbing. "....I wont! You guys are the army! You wouldn't just shoot us on the spot would-" There was a bang right next to Crazy and he looks over and sees what was left of the girl who was shot. There was only a small hole slightly next to her left eye steadily gushing out blood. "Any more questions? That's what I thought. Now move before our entrance point is changed." Said the officer who shot the girl. The 'greenhorns' were assigned to the group on the right. The group on the left went first into the 'portal' around 30 seconds later the group Crazy was in entered this swirling blue wall. Well! It seems my curse is out to get me. WHY IS MY LUCK SO BAD! Crazy walked forwards into the portal along with the others. We had entered the portal. It was very bright outside for some reason. Also He could not see the left group. Crazy heard a voice behind him, it was an unfamiliar voice. But at the same time the voice felt tired and annoyed at the same time. "Where are we?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Prison //-------------------------------------------------------// Prison I don't remember the dirt being so solid. Where am I sleeping? Oh no, my bad luck curse has struck again. Crazy opened his eyes to find that he was not on the dirt in the middle of a field, but instead on the hard stone floor of a cell. The cell was barred and had no windows but in fact had a clear view of the hallways. He recognized some people around him in the cells from the squad he was in, but nobody from the second squad. Crazy saw Pajamas in the cell in front of him. He decided that it would be a good idea to get his attention seeing that he was already awake. "PSST.... Pajamas! Can you hear me?" Crazy called out to him. Without looking up from the floor, Pajamas responded. "Yeah, I can." He sounded sad like something had happened to traumatize him. "What is going on?" Crazy asked Pajamas being concerned that something bad has happened, and the event had to be really surprising as well. "You will know...... Soon enough, they will see you too." He responded darkly. "Wait, hold on, what are 'they' and what happened to our squad?" Crazy's questions were answered shortly after. When he saw something very shocking. He saw a 'pony' walk by the cells in shining gold armor. Was that a fucking pony wearing armor! Yeah I'm pretty sure that I'm high and in a hospital bed right now. Or I'm in an insane asylum. Now that I think about it YES I am definitely insane. Crazy was bewildered to say the least. "AHHHHH!!! WHAT IS THAT THING!!!" Crazy shouted in panic. "Quiet prisoner! You have been captured by the royal guard on behalf of being part of the opposing forces of the war." The royal guard called out for everything to hear. "You are to leave to the mess hall once cell doors have opened." Everybody drowsily looked up at the guard, clearly receiving the message. It was safe to assume they lost their will to fight. The cell doors opened and everybody in the cells followed the guard to the mess hall. Truth be told, they were all very hungry from walking for a day without food or water. It wasn't just their squad that was captured either. Other humans not part of the squads came along as well. The guard led the group to the supposed mess hall. It was actually half decent, at least by Crazy's standards. The guard 'ponies' all had horns and the rather large spoon serving the food was floating to the trays and putting meals on it. Holy Shit! It's a freaking UNICORN! I will never do drugs again ever after this! To many pastel colored horses. Crazy was confused, but his body cared about the food. He walked over to the line and waited. Around an hour later, he finally got some food on his plate. It was a bit too much food for his standards. But alas, he needed a worse diet anyway. Because poverty CLEARLY just kept his stomach too full. Crazy was eagerly scarfing down the grub he was given next to his 'buddy' Pajamas. The meal was a silent one because here in reality when your troop gets captured by the enemy on the first day. It's disappointing to say the least. Crazy was looking around the mess hall, there were guards surrounding the perimeter. Not escaping today, so it seems. So I guess this is the place where I will slowly rot away. All because of one stupid military draft. That and a curse of bad luck. What a horrible life I have come to have. My eyes hurt from this place. Everything is so freaking bright, even the people. While Crazy lost himself in his train of thought, something came to the entrance of the mess hall. Nobody noticed until a guard spoke. "Quiet! We have assembled you here today not just for a meal but for you to make a choice." The two guards at the entrance moved out of the way for the door to open. In the doorway was a very tall 'pony' it looked like a tall unicorn but it had wings. "Hello, my new prisoners. We would like to give you an offer. Within this offer, you will see life within death. Or you could choose to stay here for the rest of your days." Whispers could be heard all around the mess hall. Most of which contemplating what her offer is. Crazy felt this was a trap. I've seen enough scams to know that there has to be a catch. "My offer is to let you leave this prison for 1 day to do as you please, then we will come and take you back. You can use this chance to escape, but let me warn you when you eventually get captured again, its death row for you." "To get the 24 hours you must complete a test that I create and survive. No rules. Just survive." "You are to make your decision in 24 hours. By then we will come and give you the choice. You may continue your meal." Crazy shut out any words after that, as he was deep in thought at the matter at hand. Should I say yes? No? I can't think of that right now I need to be rational for this. 9 hours later... Location: Mess Hall "Hey you." Said a Mysterious voice from in front of Crazy. "Who me?" Said Crazy in a state of confusion. Crazy looked up at the voice, only to find a very muscular teen wearing an all black Japanese school uniform, exept for the gold colored chain hanging from his collar. He had a very impossible hat which faded into hair in the back. He stood an exceptionally tall 7 inches above Crazy (who's 5'10). "Yes you. Good grief, that's my spot now move." Crap. There were spots! This was his spot. I better go, doesn't look like I would win this one. "And what if I said no?" Crazy said on accident. Crap! Well if I am going to stand my ground I need to keep up my act! Crazy knew this was the right choice but couldn't scratch the feeling that something was different about this situation. "By the way, my name is Jotaro Kujo, my friends call me JoJo." He offered his hand for a handshake. Crazy was about to shake it when he felt that he was not sitting anymore but standing while Jotaro was sitting and eating his food. "We are not friends. Sit. We need to talk." Jotaro said in an emotionless state. Crazy in his shock decided it would be in his best interests to listen. Crazy sat in the small chair in front of Jotaro. "Now is not the time to fight. We have matters to discuss." Jotaro said. "I'm going to take it." Jotaro says, shocking Crazy almost enough for him to jump. "What! Why risk it, you are new as well, you won't stand a chance!" Crazy said, clearly worried. "Good Grief. First of all, I'm not new to this place. This is the only chance there is to escape. I would rather die fighting than rot in prison." He said with resolve. Crazy sighed. He knew what Jotaro was saying was the best option. However, there was still the shred of doubt in his mind regarding his own life. He's right. Its better to not to rot in prison, but I am not sure. Is my life worth a chance to escape and live on the run? I wont do it! "So, have you come to a decision?" Jotaro asked Crazy in a calm emotionless voice. "Yeah. I have, and my answer is no! I know that nothing but bad things will happen once I escape. I can't risk it with my luck just yet!" Crazy got up, and left the area to find another empty seat. He could not sit back with Pajamas, he had enough stress to deal with by himself. Little did he know that a peculiar boy with silver hair was particularly interested in what just occurred. 40 minutes later... All of the prisoners were leaving the mess hall. Crazy was walking out when he saw the guards with a table with a cloth over it, covering some odd shaped objects underneath. What is under that? Crazy looked around him, he was one of the final few to leave. Nobody was watching him he thought. There was, but he never noticed. Crazy took a gamble, he followed the guards, he was curious as to what was under the table. Just a little peek wont hurt, will it? Just follow them and get a glimpse of what it is, and go back to the cells. Easy! He felt very uneasy as he followed the guards around, after following for around half a minute. The tension grew as Crazy started to crack under the pressure, he was distanced around 5 meters away from the guards currently. His foot slipped blowing his cover. He knew the guards were turning around. Quick! Hurry! Think Crazy! Think! He turned around and saw the corner. He bolted to the corner! Right as he was rounded the corner, something grabbed his ankle and pulled. Crazy looked around, but saw nothing to stop him from being dragged away to whatever was pulling him. "A prisoner! He followed us... Damned stupid MONKEYS." When the guard said the last word he kicked Crazy off of the ground. He kicked Crazy back down with his hoof. He would have defended himself and gone on the offensive, but some force was holding Crazy down. The guards relentlessly kicked him into the until they heard his voice from the ground. "... Whats... Under... That... Damn... Table?..." After Crazy uttered these words he coughed for a while. The Guards stopped for a moment. "Let me tell you a secret. Just between us, Okay." The first Guard said in a sadistic tone. Crazy would have nodded for emphasis. But he was restrained against the ground. The First chucked menacingly. "People who choose not to take the test are not prisoners for life..." What does he mean by that... Wait... No, it can't be! Crazy coughed on the floor from the beating they had given him. He looked up to see both of the Guards looking down at him. They spoke together. "YOU ARE KILLED IF YOU DON'T TAKE IT AS WELL!" This caught Crazy off guard. His mind blanked except for one thought in his mind. Killed? No way... The rest was a blur for him. What he knew actually happened was that apparently he was moving to a different cell. While Crazy approached the cell he noticed that there was nobody within the cells directly next to it or in front. He gulped because this was probably solitary confinement. Crazy was shoved inside, before he could react the door shut behind him. He turned around only to realize that his solitary confinement, was not so solitary after all. There was a kid with white hair and striking blue eyes. The boy stared for a moment only to look away a moment after. Crazy walked to the farthest corner of the cell and sat. This Kid is bad news, he does not have a single scratch but is also in solitary confinement with me! I should get out ASAP! "Yo." Crazy jumped due to the sudden scare he was given. Crazy managed to do a small wave to his cellmate as to not appear rude. The boy spoke again, "I'm Killua by the way. What got you stuck here anyway?" He asked in a calm but still intimidating manor. Crazy calmed down a bit. "I followed some of the guards but got caught in the act." "Cool." He said in a bored tone, "I tripped one of the guards leading the line back to the cells. It was so funny." "Wait, what! Damn, I wish I could have seen it." Crazy said with fake enthusiasm. Crazy spoke again. "Are you going to take it?" "Take what?" Killua said clearly messing with him. "The test starting tomorrow! You know... Kind of a big deal." Crazy said in a deadpan voice. Killua's answer surprised Crazy. "Nah. Ill stay and find a way to escape from in here. How about you?" A brief moment of silence washed over them as Crazy tried to think of an answer. "I've been thinking about this for a while now, I think I'm going to do it!" Crazy turned around to look out of the cell bars, the right hallway was obscured from vision while to the left was a wall. "You might want to take this than." Before Crazy could turn around He felt something strange behind him. The substance was not touching him but he knew it was there. Kind of a sixth sense. "WHAT-" It was then that Crazy felt something stranger, he felt this strange thing was not coming at him anymore, but coming out of him. It looked like a white mist and it was coming off of his body. Crazy gulped before he asked Killua in a confused voice. "What did you just do to me? What is this stuff? Am I dying?" Killua responded. "Every micropyle has opened on your body. That is your 'nen' or life force. You have to concentrate on stopping its flow. Or you will die." "WHAT!" Author's Note PS: Killua Zoldyck is a character from an anime called Hunter x Hunter. Crazy responded confused. "Calm down! And be quiet too... You will be fine as long as you focus on stopping the Nen flow. Trust me." Killua responded to him quickly. "Oh... Okay. So Ill be fine. I just need to focus on stopping the flow. No Biggie'." Crazy responded calmly for the situation at hand. He coughed and started to focus on stopping the flow... 30 minutes later... Crazy was panting and was 6 minutes away from losing consciousness. Killua was asleep in the one and only bed. Is this how I die? Posing like an idiot until my life force is depleted... I might as well give up with the poses and just stand there. Actually, I'll do that now! He stopped his poses and just stood there, arms at his sides head down and eyes closed. He was pretty exhausted, so he decided in his final 5 minutes of consciousness he would clear his head of stress and worries for the future. Just stand there. After 4 minutes of standing up naturally he fell down, close to falling to sleep. He opened his eyes and saw something was missing, the white mist had gone away. He had stopped his Nen flow! I did it.... I think I should go to sleep, I'm done! Wait, I have a bad luck curse to worry about. Too late now. Crazy too, succumbed to the depths of sleep. Time left to make the decision: less than 1 hour... Crazy got up, and then immediately wanted to go back to bed due to how tired he was. Taking that long to stop the flow of my Nen took more out of me than I thought it would have. What even was that? Crazy lazily got up off of the floor. Crap, now my back Hurts as well. That's what I get for sleeping on the floor I guess... I have a lot of questions for Killua! Crazy turned around to see Killua wide awake staring at him. "Yo." He waved. "What the hell can I do with Nen? And how will it help me with the exam." Crazy blurted out as soon as possible. "With Nen you enhance your physical abilities and protect you from a lot of physical attacks." Killua explained to him. "Also the more you practice with it, the more powerful it becomes. I'll explain more if I ever see you again. See you later!" Crazy then realized that it was time to go to the mess hall for some grub. The doors to the cells open. They go through the usual routine of being escorted to the mess hall and getting some grub to eat. However Crazy sat near Jotaro this time around. He still had no idea how Jotaro did what he did by instantly teleporting Crazy out of his seat. I need to ask him what he did yesterday getting me out of his seat instantly. This could be important. Before he could talk to Jotaro, Crazy needed to tell him something. However Jotaro spoke first. "Why are you here." He asked emotionless. "I'm going. I would rather go than rot in prison." "Yeah... you might wanna tell that to the test or no test groups, I already agreed to take the test. We leave after our breakfast, go now." Crazy realized what he just heard. "Crap! Gotta go get in line!" He had grabbed his food on the way there and ate it in the line. He was rather cautious about his choice and zoned out for a bit. Crazy finally told them that he would take the test. They told him to follow the right set of guards instead of the normal left. It was Killua's turn in line. "Yeah. I'll take the test." Killua had decided to stick with Crazy to teach him Nen and instead of patiently waiting he made his choice. He will probably kill himself before he gets the hang of it. He's probably an enhancer with that hotheadedness he showed me this morning. Killua monologued to himself. Time until test: 5 minutes... Crazy stood next to Jotaro in the line. They had remained silent and about ready to leave. The group started moving out of the door. Instead of taking the normal route to the cell block, they take a right. They were eventually led into a large room with lots of chairs scattered about. Only about 25 humans had actually showed up to take the test. Among those were Crazy, Jotaro, Killua, and a peculiar weirdo who loved fighting. The unicorn with wings showed up and spoke. "Only a quarter of them chose the test? Very well. Only a quarter of you have a chance to survive anyway." The crowd of humans remained silent. They did not know what she was talking about. However, Crazy had knowledge of what she was speaking of. I'm glad I took this risk, it seems what the guards said was not a lie after all. After looking around Crazy could only find one person who still was in the army uniform. Crazy also spotted Killua in the crowd of people. A thought appeared in his mind. Why is Killua here? There is something strange about this group, all of the people who are trying to escape are greenhorns and people out of uniform. He was going to think more but he felt a strange feeling behind him, it felt like thousands of tiny needles pricking his skin. He was going to turn around to see where the sensation was coming from but suddenly the environment changed. This location was a new location and he had not seen it before. It seemed that they were split into teams of red and blue and there were black and yellow balls in the middle. Upon closer inspection of the teams he realized that each team had some... Uninvited guests. There were a total of 6 ponies on the teams. They were each brightly colored and had different tattoos on each of their... Behinds. Okay I must be seeing things now... I don't remember there being 6 total ponies with us when we got here. It must be part of the test. "You may be wondering why you have 3 new members of your teams. They are my own creation so I can even out the teams numbers. This first part of the test is a game of dodge ball." The unicorn with wings said. Dodge-Ball? doesn't sound too hard... Crazy thought with a sigh of relief. "If any bare skin is hit by any of the dodge balls or cross over to the other side of the court. Instead of sitting out for the rest of the game, you will be killed. Other than that, no rules! Just survive until one team is down to 5 players left alive. Any questions?" Seemingly everyone there raised their hands to ask a question. "No? Good luck and try to survive!" The unicorn with wings disappeared with a flash. Strange... The last time I saw her do that it did not have a flash. Was it the Nen awakening that let me see that? Its possible. Crazy contemplated until he realized that he was not in the same spot, but was in fact facing the other team. the enemy side of the area was blue, while the side Crazy was on is red. Crazy figured it would be in his best interests to look at who was on his team. Everyone that he had met so far was on his team. What a relief! If any of them were on the other team, I could have accidentally killed them! Crazy was about to take a step for them when he realized he could not do it. What! I'm stuck, but how! He was able to move every part of him other than his legs. He noticed a shift in the sand in the front, it spelled out in roman numerals 5,4,3,2,1. When the sand spelled out 1 in roman numerals, the ground beneath his feet disappeared. What! Crazy hit the floor with a small thud, it seemed that they had all fallen into some sort of pit including the other team. In the chamber was nothing but the people who fell. It seems Crazy was able to move his legs again. There were countless torches along the walls. They all began lighting up at in a clockwise fashion. The speed at which the torches were lit doubled every torch. Despite the fact that he just fell down into this pit, he realized that even with the new light of the torches which were around 15 feet up on the walls, he could not see the ceiling. He got up quickly knowing that the faster he got up, the faster he could attack the other team which in turn, could attack at any time. It seemed that Killua and Jotaro had went onto the offensive. Instead of sitting down and waiting for their doom. Instantly he saw the man in the military uniform hit with the ball, the ball made a wicked noise at the first contact of with the skin on his hands. He continued to look and saw something horrific, at first his body just stood there unaffected. Then it exploded from the inside blood splattered everywhere. Jotaro was seen with the same calm look on his face. Killua seemed calm too. Crazy was shocked but got over it quickly. Those guys... So cool! They are ready! I should be ready to fight as well! This was a rather strange response but it helped motivate crazy to get up and start his fight with a grin on his face. To be honest, the reason he responded like this was because he loved the thrill of a good fight. And from that alone, he knew this fight was gonna be good. Crazy was cut off of his attack on the other team when he heard the whistling of a ball being thrown at him. He just barely dodged the ball by inches. He backed off a good distance from the assailants direction. It was one of the three ponies on the opposite team, this one specifically was mostly pink except for the balloons tattoo on her flank, with very curly hair. It looked like she was saying something but no noise came out. What is it doing... Its mouthing something! Crazy then spelled out what it was saying. It was mouthing very fast what it was saying one letter at a time. Y...O...U...A...R...E...G...O...I...N...G...T..O...D...I...E. Whats that spell. Oh no... I'm going to die. I need a plan. Crazy ran over to get a ball on his left. The 'the pink one' (he called her) had picked up two balls and threw them One ball flew even closer to his face, missing within centimeters of his hair. This by far motivated him far more than he had ever been to speed up to get the to his ball quicker. The second one was not aimed at him but instead at the ball he was going for. The ball was thrown between Crazy's feet, he however noticed this and jumped in a cartwheel motion but without his hands, the ball missed him. However instead it bounced against the back wall, in turn hitting the ball Crazy was gunning for from behind, just before he grabbed it. Sadly, it was headed straight for the pink one. He had no chance of getting that ball back, it already crossed the line. What Crazy did not notice was that the other one was launched straight into the air towards one of his teammates. Crazy would then turn midair only to land at his feet and slide a bit, he could not stop the one heading towards his teammate. "DUCK DOWN! OR YOU WILL DIE!" Crazy shouted to the man. He turned, noticing the ball come towards him. But it was too late. The ball went straight through the guys stomach. THE BALL JUST WENT THROUGH THAT GUYS STOMACH! I WOULD EXPLODE FROM THE FORCE OF THE BALL HITTING ME! NOT THE AFTEREFFECTS OF HITTING MY SKIN! Panic want through his mind as he realized how he was so close to death only seconds ago. The man however did not explode but instead, had screamed. This was due to the excruciating pain he was probably feeling due to the force of the ball going straight through his stomach. The man staggered, however this action was useless because he fell down a second later. While on the ground the mans eyes rolled into the back of his head. After seeing this most of his teammates ran to the other side with the majority of the enemy players were. The pink one had two balls at its disposal ready to throw. Crazy however noticed this and prepared himself for the worst now that he knew the power of those balls that had just passed him. He glared at the pink one only to get a creepy smile right back at him. Crazy shuddered at the thought of what that smile implied... Death. Crazy gulped in anticipation of the events that were going to transpire with him in the midst of it all. He got ready to dodge the balls that were going to be thrown at him. Crazy heard shallow breaths beside him at that moment. "What!" he shouted in surprise as the man who was seemingly gutted was standing before him its formerly tanned skin now a sickly shade of green. Blood was leaking out of the formerly dead mans wound. How is he alive! He was gutted like a pig! More so he is attacking me! The man came at Crazy. He hear the whistle of a ball coming at him! In his panic he did something on accident which saved his life. Crazy shrouded his body with Nen in a panic and noticed something. He could see around him with the mysterious Nen! He knew the way the ball was coming at him from, its trajectory was curved and coming for the back of his skull as the man in front of him was leaning in to attack. Crazy moved his forearm in the way of his skull and put his jacket over his forearm angling his arm in a way that when the ball hit his forearm that it would bounce straight into the mans head. He grinned as he felt that this counter would work. There was an sickening crack of bones, the same noise that could be heard when a bone is shattered. Crazy heard and felt the impact throughout his entire body. As Crazy saw that the impact of the ball hitting his forearm, he knew that he would not be using that arm anytime soon. He heard another crack distracting him from his pain. The mans skull had taken the full force of the ball as the ball curved back in the direction of the pink one. The man exploded from the inside giving the ball more force. In a cruel twist of fate, the trajectory of the ball was off so it would not hit the pink one.. "AAAAAAHHHHHH MY ARM!" Crazy shouted as he was fully experiencing the pain of his shattered forearm. The pink one's smile widened, the reason why was not because of the mans suffering but because the trajectory of the ball was in her favor. In an act of fake rage, the pink one threw the other ball she had at the ground sending it straight up. The ball almost instantly came back down onto the other ball that was headed towards the pink one sending it straight at Crazy as he clutched his forearm in pain. Crazy saw this and thought up a high risk plan with relative to no reward as a last ditch effort. He held out his jacket and kept its position with all of his might. He held it out to protect against the ball. Fortunately the trajectory was in his favor! the ball was spinning backwards in the air and when it caught Crazy's jacket, Crazy held on giving him something to give the ball to grab onto and effectively giving it enough force to go back in that direction. Crazy shakily inhaled to tell the pink one its goodbye as it would not make it out of this situation its smile fading as the ball would bring it to its demise. "Go To Hell. And Stay There!" Crazy said in the thrill of the moment. The ball made contact with the pink one as she exploded as soon as the ball touched her skin. "Goodbye, it was a good fight." Crazy muttered under his breath in the brief moment before the ball made contact and she exploded. Crazy could have sworn he saw her grin in the final moment before she exploded as if she had heard him. There was the sound of a bell ringing as the first part of the test had now finished. I did it! Now I just need to finish the rest of the tests with this broken forearm. Yeah, this is going to be a bit of a problem. Just my bad luck. All of the remaining people left were teleported away from the dodgeball area and back to the outside area where they started the test. The unicorn with wings was there. "By the way to all of you who survived, I grant the honor of knowing my name." What is it? Mrs. Sparklywing? "To all of you, My name is Princess Celestia, I'm an alicorn." Wow, just... Thank you! Now I know what to call your race! SO IMPORTANT! Whait... I think I remember something important about the fight... That was when he remembered what the man that tried to kill him, and also got his guts spilled had worn. He was wearing pajamas. Oh no... Pajamas... I'm sorry it had to be this way... Farewell, friend. Just my luck. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Maze //-------------------------------------------------------// The Maze Crazy knew that this was no time to mourn his friend's loss of life. He had more important things to worry about like how the test was not over and he had probably lost use of his left arm due to the most likely due to the shattered bone of his forearm. He did his best to keep composure and forget the stinging pain he felt. I need a plan to get this bone healing, but given my life or death situation i'm in right now. I'm afraid my broken arm is the least of my worries. He knew that this plan probably involved sticking with his teammates, specifically Jotaro and Killua. I need to find Killua to learn how to utilize this Nen and make it an effective tool in combat. Since he awakened it and most likely has a basic combat knowledge due to his behavior in fights. Crazy knew this due to the calm look in his eyes when faced with the dodgeball combat. He needed some sort of teacher in this situation. It was at this moment that Princess Celestia spoke once more. "It is time for the second phase of the test. The Maze. In this phase, four of the ponies I created last will be bloodlusted and do not care what team you where on last phase. They will attack everything that they see. Two of them got eliminated last phase. To escape the wrath of my ponies, you must find a way out or find your way to the center." There was a brief moment of silence intent on hearing more. "I in fact have a maze like this in my garden, but this one is 50 miles wide total. It will be constantly raining. No rules except for no going over the maze walls. Or else you will die. Good luck. Also, you may find that the longer you stay in the maze... the more of my little ponies will come and hunt you down. There is no time limit or any teams, the game ends when all that are in the maze have made it to the center or exit. The game also ends when the people who made it to the center or exit are the only people left alive." There was 5 seconds of silence as her horn lit up. Crazy realized it at four seconds that she was teleporting them to a new location. 4 foot wide circles formed at everybody's feet. Crazy looked down at the circle and extended his arms out to grab the side of it. He caught hold of the side. The portals of the rest of the people faded away when he realized that his was the last one left. He was barely holding on with both of his arms. His left arm was in so much pain, he would not be able to pull himself out. He heard the sound of hooves hitting the dirt heading towards him. "We have a clever one! Don't we now.?" Celestia was looming over Crazy's head by now. She stepped on his right pinky finger. He retracted his right arms grasp from holding him up. All that was left ironically, was his left arm, which by now was screaming in pain due to his injury. He let his left arm go after seeing that she was going to smash her hoof down on his hand. The portal had closed and there stood Princess Celestia. Fuming in anger as she could not attack in time. "No matter... I will kill them soon enough, in the maze." Crazy fell and hit the ground softer than he expected. His pinky finger hurt a lot since she stepped on it. THAT BITCH! Wait... Four ponies she said? That must mean that along with the pink one who I defeated, someone else beat one of those monsters as well! God damn this stupid curse. The thought scared Crazy as he knew that there would be no teams, and due to this he had a powerful foe that he would be up against, if worst came to worst, this could be a fatal enemy. He needed to find his allies. Shit! It hurts. Crazy's arm suddenly felt this pain again when he realized that he indeed had teleported despite his efforts. Again, he had been teleported to a new location. It happened again... I have to find a way to the center or out. Quickly! Before I have too many enemies to handle and I meet my eminent demise! Crazy had been wandering for a while now, he had yet to see anybody. He could smell blood, it was coming from around the corner to his right. He took a quick look and saw a ruined corpse of one of his former teammates from the dodgeball match. His silver reflective sunglasses were on the floor broken. There was nobody there but the corpse he analyzed. He shrouded his body in his aura (Another term for Nen) to sense if anybody was around the corner waiting for him. There was not. He knew that if he wanted a way to stay hidden then he would need to mask his Nen as well. It was only logical due to the fact he could also slightly sense when other people were nearby, due to his newfound Nen abilities. He put all of his aura away, in doing this he also got rid of physical guard against other Nen attacks which he did not know that he had done currently. Crazy walked over to the corpse, the body of the man had several puncture wounds in it done with most likely a knife. Which surprised Crazy because he had not seen anybody with a knife as of yet. So he came to the only logical conclusion. This knife wound was not made by man... it was made by one of the ponies! That means... there is one nearby! Crazy grabbed the lenses of the glasses from the mans corpse. In truth he was grateful that this was not his body. I'm glad I did not show up earlier... The reason why Crazy picked up the lens were that they were reflective and would allow him to see around corners with ease in case of any enemies. He had been going around for 30 minutes now. He was going to round a corner when he was met with a familiar face. It was Killua but that scared him a little bit more in fact. "Its me, You Idiot. I could sense your zetsu since the last turn you took before you got to me." He flicked Crazy in the head. Crazy calmed down a bit when he realized that he was not attacking him. But had a question to ask. "Whats a zetsu?" Crazy asked him confused. "You have got a lot to learn." He responded and then sighed. "Well. This will be a long walk." Killua said sadly. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Maze Part 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// The Maze Part 2 "Okay, so... are you going to tell me about Nen?" Crazy asked after they had walked silently for two minutes. Jeez, I asked him two minutes ago, why is he not responding. Killua responded. "Yeah, sorry. Spaced out for a moment there. The first category of Nen is ten, to shroud your body in aura, and not have it flow away from you but around you. It's control can be increased by meditation and practice." Killua told Crazy. To shroud the body with your aura, I think I did that in my fight... Crazy had learned to do this during the fight, ten upon being learned can not be forgotten. Crazy had no knowledge of this and was curious as to what the next category was. "The next category is zetsu, it is the technique that I am using right now. It is containing the aura within the body and not letting any of it loose. It's only reliable usage is in stealth due to it getting rid of the small amount of aura protecting your body. Even weak attacks fused with Nen will have major damage. So if you fight another Nen user, try to avoid using zetsu in that fight." Crazy nodded his head repeatedly intent on hearing more. "Have you ever tried ten yet?" Killua asked Crazy looking into his eyes intimidating him slightly. Crazy gulped, he did not want too see where lying would get him in this situation. "I have..." Crazy was cut off by Killua. "Show me it, I need to see the roughness of the aura so judge how long it will take for you to be ready to learn the next technique, Ren." Well, I guess it cant hurt to show him. It really is not much though... Crazy showed him his Ten, it was a white mist like aura that came about 3 inches off his body. Outlining the shape of it. "I see, so its not your second time using it, I would guess its your third time using Ten." Killua was right, Crazy had only used Ten 3 times in total. "Well, show me it in a week after you have trained by meditating for an hour every day or, you can punch things with Ten active for an hour every day." "OH NO! I need to work to get more powerful! I hate working though!" Crazy whined at Killua. He grinned for a second as he thought of something that made him strangely happy. Oh no... that's a sadistic grin if I've ever seen one! Don't tell me... Crazy was going to reveal his thought "On second thought, make that two hours. Oh yeah also I need the weighted clothes and the vests! How did I forget! Don't worry, I always bring spares!" He got out of his backpack a vest, it didn't look too heavy. "Well, wear it already! We need to escape this maze remember." Crazy was going to grab the vest and put it on when Killua threw it onto him. When it landed on him, he immediately fell down. Holy crap! This things heavy! How does he even carry it in his bag? "How much does this thing weigh?" He said while getting up even while restrained by the weights on his shoulders. "100 kilograms, also you will wear this all week except when you are sleeping." Killua said this casually as if that was light. "That's literally my body weight and a half! All week! Well, it's gonna be a long week for me." Crazy muttered the last part as he staggered to continue. Killua was walking relatively the same speed as before except slightly faster. "Get a move on it!" Killua said mockingly. Well crap. That's kind of my fault now that I look at it that way. But I am guessing it will be worth it in the end though. Crazy nodded and then sighed shortly afterwards. This week was going to be a long one... Crazy and Killua were staying silent and hidden for the last five minutes. Until the attack, they were quietly walking down, well more like Killua was walking fast. Crazy was still struggling, trying to keep the pace. He had the endurance to carry the weighted clothing all week but it would really be an exhausting task. But what really ticked him off was that he had to complete the test with not only his hurt arm, but also 100 kilos of additional weight. Crazy saw some sort of object fly by his face when he rounded the corner, the playing card was a joker. Crazy maintained zetsu and went back to the corner and sat next to the wall out of their vision. He placed one of the reflective lenses on the ground and angled it in a way so he could see the situation without rounding the corner. He heard them speak. "Hisoka! Let us through!" Killua said in an aggressive tone of voice. "Fine. If you explain who this other person with you is." Hisoka said. Why does Killua know Hisoka? A friend? No... Must be an enemy! That's not good! Crazy saw that they were getting ready to fight. However, they did not fight but instead switched places with each other. "Lets go." Killua said to Crazy in a calm tone. Crazy hesitated before he turned the corner. I know that this is not a trap, but I have a strange feeling about something... He walked over to Killua he walked along right after Crazy went around the corner. Killua nodded, "What is this?" Crazy asked him expecting him to know the bare minimum about this location. "I don't know." Gee, real comforting, especially since we almost got in a battle... Crazy made a guess as to what it could be.It must be here to keep the ponies from following us in and killing us in here. Crazy concluded. This was the only conclusion that he would consider. 15 minutes before...Point of View: Jotaro Kujo... Jotaro was currently facing the the footprints in front of him. The footprints started a while back and he had been following them for two minutes now. He had yet to come across anybody other than himself. Jotaro knew that it was only a matter of time before he would be attacked. He had heard constant Thunder for a while now. He knew that they meant something, probably has to do with the maze, or so he presumed. The footprints stopped. It's gone! Where are the rest of the footprints? Jotaro was confused, but what was known was that he needs to keep his guard high. He continued forwards. Maybe it jumped? It's possible, but I have never seen anything jump so far that I can't find its prints anymore. Is it possible that this person was picked up by some sort of animal with wings and attacked? He heard a thump, indicating something had fallen to the front right of him. What was that? Jotaro ran to the next turn, and saw a corpse. He flipped over the corpse to see the person's face. Their face was an indistinguishable bloody mess. Jotaro looked around him and saw something flying towards him to attack him. From Jotaro's perspective all he saw was a blur of multiple colors resembling a rainbow. Good grief, this was a trap. Jotaro turned and summoned his stand. "Star Platinum The World!" Jotaro shouted at the creature. Time had stopped. That was his stand's ability other than hitting really fast and hard, his stand was very close range and could only attack within 5 meters of his body. The farther his stand was away from him in those 5 meters, the less damage. "Yare Yare Daze (good grief in English). You should have planned better than just a straightforward attack." He looked at the pony. It had a rainbow mane with cyan fur, this creature was a Pegasus Jotaro thought. "This fight was over before you landed a hit. Say hello for me to the person you killed." Jotaro paused for a moment. "In Hell." Jotaro's stand punched a hole straight through the Pegasus's neck with a single loud 'ORA', which was shouted out by the stand. "Soshi te wa kiwa mokidasu" (time has begun to move again in English) The pony with the rainbow mane, now with a new hole in its neck coughed and was sent flying from the force of the punch. The wound was bleeding uncontrollably. It did not go far until it fell and did not move. I need to be more careful from here on out... Especially since my location is now known. 13 minutes before Killua and Crazy make it to the exit... Point of view: Princess Celestia... "Shit... If I have another stand user to worry about that will be bad. Especially if he has a stand like that... He could be some serious trouble for me if I wanna win this war. I have to get rid of him now." All of the artificial ponies Celestia had created were sent to go and attack Jotaro. All the while she activated the second part of the maze... the hardest part. Time until second part of the maze is activated from present time: 7 minutes... //-------------------------------------------------------// Maze Of Death //-------------------------------------------------------// Maze Of Death When Crazy and Killua stepped inside of the area, Crazy was especially relieved that he could finally relax for a moment. Killua actually looked pretty disappointed, like he expected something better to happen. Crazy could care less, due to the circumstances he did not expect anything more to happen for a while. Crazy had actually gotten pretty thirsty. Killua with his sadistic instincts took this as an opportunity to use the weighted cups. Killua habitually walked silently over to a strange pot filled with water which he confirmed by tasting it and it was poison free, and filled the cup full of water. With the water now in the cup he went and put it on the ground next to Crazy. "You can drink if you can lift the cup up and drink it. If not, no water for you!" Killua responded cruelly to Crazy's predicament. Crazy grabbed the cup and lifted it up slightly and could not do more than that, the cup was weighted down, it was very heavy. Freaking bastard! How does he even carry this kind of stuff. It's actually kind of impressive... Wait what does he even use these for anyway? For once, Crazy had no guess's left for him to say. He continues to struggle as he finally got a drop of the water and it was great! In this small little happy moment he had, Crazy had a little idea that might work. He took a couple deep breaths, it made it a bit easier to lift. After 6 minutes of struggling he managed to lift the cup up and drink it with only his right arm. He basically inhaled the water when he got his lips on it. "Impressive, you know that was 80 kilos right?" Crazy's jaw dropped as he said 80 kilos. 80 kilos! Oh my god I'm strong! Crazy got up from sitting on the ground. Crazy was pretty proud of himself that he lifted 80 kilos in one arm. Something was strange about his training and how much he really was progressing in his training. He activated his ten again, just too see the level at which it was at. It had reached 4-5 inches away from his body. He guessed that it had to do with the mind and emotions, after all, he had used both a lot today. He was not complaining though. Crazy walked over to Killua and was going to ask him a question about how he should meditate. He had never meditated before, so it should be a strange task to say the least. Crazy asked him. "Killua, how do I-" Before Crazy finished his sentence he had new things in his field of vision, both Crazy and Killua found themselves in a new location. The location was windy and dark with the exception of the flickering torches on the walls of the maze. There was constant flashes of lightning in the stormy and dark sky. Crazy could hear the noise of something moving in the distance. He ignored it. "Where are we?" Crazy asked to nobody in particular. Killua looked around the new location that they had arrived at. There was only one way to go. He arrived to a conclusion. "Doesn't matter now. We should probably go to the center before its too late. The last one must have been a fake." Killua responded to Crazy's question. Crazy walked hesitantly ahead of Killua going to the next corner, he turned as normal really nothing special about it. Killua followed him shortly afterwards. Crazy continued to walk forwards when he stepped on a normal segment of the floor, it flashed bright pink and said start in the middle of it. Some sort of projection appeared on the wall beside them showing the display of a phonograph record. Text appeared under the picture of the record saying, You seemed to have encountered my trap... The only hint I will give you is that the answer is one. Good luck... Oh shit it has to do with math! Wait... math is my strong suit, why should I be worried? Crazy bravely stepped up to the stone. The walls projector screen started counting down from ten. Symbols showed up on small squares on the floor showing roman numerated numbers and math symbols such as pi and multiplication symbols. Crazy remained calm with a plan in his eyes, he knew what he needed to step on and conveniently enough the three things he needed were close together. He ran, making sure to only step on the regular numbers and not the symbols. That was until he came to the multiplication symbol, which he then jumped to the 0 symbol, and finally to the 1 symbol. There was a back wall to the chamber leaving it a dead end. He heard a click and he fell into a pit of sorts. Killua followed down shortly after, he spoke to Crazy. "Impressive! My friend Gon would be lying on the ground with steam coming out of his ears by now." Killua admitted. This left Crazy to think. Who is this Gon? I will stay silent for now and see if he spouts any more details, if not I will ask him myself. Crazy kept to himself staying silent. They stayed silent until Crazy spoke. "Yeah, thanks. Lets go." Crazy responded in a cold emotionless voice. Killua did not ask the problem as they proceeded. They turned the corner to see a set of stairs. They headed up the stairs to see the thundering storm above them. They never did see the entity that had created the trap. Little did they know it had taken its own life due to its own pride been shattered. Due to Crazy assuming this, to him the goal of the attackers was clear, stop them, and die if they don't. They proceeded with caution from this point forwards. Which apparently was not enough as Crazy soon found himself with Killua face to face with 3 ponies. Each one of them unique in their own rights, different ass tattoos. At least that's what Crazy would say. Two were on the left and one on the right. Its as if they were asking for them to split up... Like a trap... //-------------------------------------------------------// The Three Obstacles //-------------------------------------------------------// The Three Obstacles Crazy of course went for the one that was on the right, it had a purple mane and a white coat, and looked like it cared way more than everyone else about fashion. She ran further to the right while the other two went further to the left. Crap, their plan is to split us up and take us one by one. I may need to be careful of any traps this one might lay down for my demise. While these thoughts continued I his head, the enemies of Crazy and Killua continued to spit up. Crazy eventually lost sight of Killua and the other two opponents. The only one that was remaining was the purple maned one in front of him. She led Crazy into a corridor that surprisingly had a roof to go under. He followed the purple one inside, he looked around but failed to locate the pony. Shit, I cannot see where she is. Hiding in the shadows? Crazy took a look around but failed to see anything in the shadows. This is bad! This is bad! I can't find her, how will I win? What is the secret behind this power! Crazy was looking around frantically, his arm seared with pain from the battle that he was in previously with the pink one, also when he held on to the portal. He did not know whether he would be able to continue the rest of the maze. Crazy failed to notice the presence of the purple one as she had snuck behind him. Crazy saw a vase in the middle of the room, the surface of the vase was glossy, and because of this Crazy saw that something was in fact behind him. He jumped forwards as he heard the whistle of a knife missing him by inches, which was not comforting to think about for Crazy. She disappeared once again. A thought appeared in Crazy's head. What can I deduce from this situation? First I cannot see her. What would enable me to not see her? Magic? Definitely due to her horn she must have access to magic. What kind of magic? Invisibility? No, I was able to spot her last second unless this ability is... Crazy finally found the answer to the enemies abilities. She must be using some sort of magic Camouflage! One that shifts like a chameleon so she cannot be seen... He was happy, however, this happyness was short lived as he realized that if she was anywhere near the strength of the pink one, he wouldn't stand a chance... No wait. She most likely won't be as strong as the pink one. If she was she would not use knives because she would be strong enough to punch a hole straight through me. She would also have no need for the camouflage if she was fast enough for me to have trouble seeing her. This was a mere theory on Crazy's part, this theory of his stemmed of of the basis that possibly, due to her being a unicorn that she would be reliant on the magic that she possessed. This helped him make a plan. Crazy knew that he needed to keep watch around him, now especially since the purple one was likely going to attack from behind him. He got frustrated now that he had to constantly look behind him. Out of frustration, Crazy broke the vase that had allowed him to see the purple one previously. He picked up one of the larger shards and held it like a knife. You aren't the only one who can play at that game you know! He picked up the pieces of the pot and scattered them across the floor. This had two uses for the strategy Crazy had in mind. The first was that it could allow him to hear the purple one if she accidentally stepped on one of the pieces of the vase. The second and most important reason was to be able to see the camouflage of the purple one. Crazy assumed that the vase allowed him to see her in the last encounter. This theory was wrong as she could not be seen unless she stopped her camouflage she made that mistake last time and would not do it again. Damn, this one has good reflexes. No matter, that vase won't save you anymore. Last time was a fluke. Even if you see me, I can escape with my ropes! The Purple one told herself as she approached from the front of Crazy. She picked up a shard of the vase from outside of his range of vision. The shard now camouflaged by her cloak was thrown behind Crazy. He turned around and slashed the piece of the vase with the intention of a stab to whoever was behind him, he did not feel anything connect. What! Nobody was There, impossible! I heard the vase breaking! Crazy was in the middle of turning back around when something made an impact with the weighted vest he was wearing. The knife of the purple one was stopped by one of the weights on Crazy's vest. Shit! The weights blocked my knife! I need to escape! The Purple one thought as she fled the scene. However, Crazy turned around and was going to throw the shard at her. "It's over!" Crazy shouted as he swung his arm to throw the shard at her. Unfortunately his throw went wild as the shard hit the ground and crumbled to pieces with a shower of dust at her feet. The Purple one was propelled backwards by an unknown force right after he missed his throw. Crap she got away. But not for long! Crazy saw his plan falling into place. He needed a trap to get the purple one to a place where he could easily access and see. He got the two glasses lenses out of his pocket from his earlier corpse encounter. He placed one to face away from him and the other lense facing him. Aligning it so that his field of vision was also covering his back due to the line of sight the lenses allowed. He would play this to his advantage in this trap. Crazy pretended that he really was just stumbling while he placed the reflective lenses. The last thing Crazy saw out of the second lense that allowed him to see his back was some sort of shining progectile, one of her knives. The other lense was left intact. This did not matter much because it had nowhere to look. It was angled in a way that Crazy did not have the advantage, but instead a front row view of the brick wall. He ran to the torch on the right wall. He knew that if he set he cloak on fire the fight would be over. What the purple one did not realize was that Crazy had already set his trap. He had been leaving a flammable trail of gunpowder behind him. He was able to accomplish this when he destroyed the vase, it was full of the sutff. He merely picked up a bowl of it and left a subtle trail of the black powder trailing behind him. The room that the battle took place in was a vast, empty armory. Which due to it's vastness was poorly lit up by the torches. The weapons had long deserted the place but it was full of gunpowder. It was deemed too flammable for use in battle with an ignition temperature of 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Currently undergoing testing in the off limits area of the royal maze. The gunpowder laid untouched for at least a decade due to the lack of funds to study the strange powder any farther. It had laid untouched in over a decade. Until today that is. Crazy saw that the purple one had entered the vision of his lense he had set up. He knew this because of the pieces of the vase and gunpowder on her cloak. He threw the torch, in turn igniting the gunpowder that had lain dormant on the ground. The gunpowder istantly burst into flames almost instantly. That happened faster than I expected! Shit there is no time to waste! Crazy picked up the torch and got ready to initiate phase two of his trap. He picked up the torch and ran faster than he had ever ran before to the place where the second lense was broken by the knife. His goal was to pick up that knife that had broken the lense earlier to limit his vision to even less than the shadows of the room. When he reached the knife laying on the ground he dived. He picked up the knife and skidded to a halt. He turned to look at his opponent. She had already ditched the cloak as it would be dead weight to her since Crazy could already see her with it on. She also had her magic carry up 5 knives from her saddle. Oh fuck! She has 5 more that I have to worry about! Fucking run! Crazy upon seeing that she had quite a bit more knives than himself, threw his torch at her cloak. The fire it created was more of a distraction than anything. This plan however failed as she remained laser focused on him. For them both this was a western showdown by all means. The purple one threw a knife at him. Crazy dodged in the direction of the burning cloak. He made it in the right amount of time as he saw another knife fly by his forehead and skitter across the floor. He didn't realize it because of the adrenaline, but the knife had grazed his cheek. He picked up the cloak via a part of it that was not caught on fire. He grabbed on desperately, he accidentally picked up the cloak in his left hand which due to this screamed in pain. He winced but could not do to much more than that as he still had the adrenaline coarsing through his viens. He knew that he could not fight much longer. Nevertheless he continued the final step of his plan. He threw the burning cloak in the air. He then initiated the last part. He threw the knife with all the force he had in his right arm towards the burning cloak in the air. It hit the cloak and it went straight towards it's owner, the purple one. She gasped for air as the knife penetrated her flesh. A crimson liquid seeped out of the injury the had been received. The purple one looked down at the injury, it had not hit anything lethal. Just below the neck. Her blood was seeped into the burning cloak and evaporated, as a result the air around the two of them had a putrid scent. She gasped for air and stopped in her tracks as she was stunned by the knife injury she had sustained. The purple one sent an angry glare in the direction of Crazy, she was about to go and stomp his face in when she too had caught on fire due to her cloak. The purple one as fast as she could dropped to the ground to get it put out. Crazy was gasping for air himself as the battlefield was being consumed by the flames of the fire that was made by the gunpowder. The building did not light up do to it being entirely made out of stone. Crazy caught something shining in the corner of his eye. It was the knife from before that had grazed him. He was able too make out a purple substance leaking from the blade. Crazy knew what this substance was to him. Poison. That's why I am having trouble moving. Crap I don't have much time before the purple one is not doused in flames anymore. I need to finish the job. Crazy dragged himself to the blade and threw it at the purple one. It stabbed her in the neck killing her instantly. This was an accident on his part, he wanted to paralyze her so she would burn to death. He crawled his way to the door of the stone building, losing movement by the second due to the paralyzing poison that would render him immobile in due time. He had mad it outside of the building but the poison took to effect and he was in his final few moments of being conscious, he looked down at his hands. There was around an inch of nen surrounding his entire body. It had seemed that he had subconsciously activated it during the battle. He saw the shadow of something coming from the pathway to the right of him. Well, shit. I made it this far just to see the end. This is the end... As Crazy finished his final thoughts, he succumbed to the depths of unconsciousness. Point of view: Jotaro Kujo... Jotaro heard gasping breaths from around the next left of the maze. These breaths were different from the breath of the ponies, this was the breathing of something injured. Jotaro ran around the corner in spite of the risk that it held. He saw the unconscious body of Crazy and the building behind him was up in flames. "Yare Yare Daze. (good grief in English) You are lucky that you found me." Jotaro said. Jotaro looked down at Crazy's unconscious body, Jotaro noticed a small cut on Crazy's cheek but nothing except for that. Jotaro checked his pulse. Still beating? Jotaro thought. Good, I would like to encounter something other than corpses once in a while. Jotaro's hand was covered in blood from his last battle with the Pegasus. Jotaro picked Crazy up and took him to the center of the maze, the real one this time. They made it with no more encounter of the enemy forces surprisingly. They did however hear the constant attacks of something in the distance... Point of view: Killua Zoldyck This is bad, a two on one. Killua thought as the pony with a hat missed her kick all during the dark blue with a pink stripe unicorn casting a spell which he dodged. Killua did not like this situation at all. It was two against one. He would need to actually try to win, if he wanted to win this time. He was currently on the defensive against these two opponents. He could not use half of his Godspeed against the two opponents due to them not possessing nen that he knew of. However he could still use speed of lightning, and narukami. (In English this means thunderbolt) He did not want to risk it though, he did not know if he would be able to charge up anytime soon so he should save it. Another spell was sent his direction. At first it seemed there was nothing different about the spell, that was until it completely obliterated the maze wall next to him. Killua did not like this situation at all. It was two against one. At first it seemed there was nothing different about the spell, that was until it completely obliterated the maze wall next to him. Crap! I need to not go near those. I need to get rid of this pony. Killua strategized to himself. He charged the unicorn that was casting spells his way, this caught the unicorn off guard as he ran straight to her. She had no time to cast another spell as Killua was there in less than a second. "Die fool." Killua said as his nails extended and tore her face to ribbons. He grinned as he had taken out a major enemy in the fight. Her body instead of leaking blood faded into darkness. A fake! Killua thought as he ran away from the clone he destroyed. He went to target the pony with the hat, the battle ended in an instant. He tore her head to ribbons but this one was not a clone. Blood splattered all over the ground. He encountered no further resistance from the enemy. The unicorn ran away from him. He was not able to find her afterwards. He expected at least a little resistance. Killua made it to the center of the maze encountering no more resistance. At the center he was the last to arrive, Hisoka his best friend's rival had arrived just before him. He was currently not a threat due to the common goal they shared at the moment, to escape. Hisoka was currently staring at the two that had arrived before him. Those two were the unconscious body of Crazy which was propped up against the wall in the corner. The other one was a very muscular teen in a Japanese school uniform. He had blood leading all the way up his arm. Killua knew that there was more people alive in the maze due to them still being there. That was when they were teleported out of the maze for the final stage of the test... To be continued... //-------------------------------------------------------// Final x Stage //-------------------------------------------------------// Author's Note The title of the chapter is a nod to the 2011 anime for Hunter x Hunter and the way they name the episodes. The x is silent BTW. Final x Stage Point of view: Princess Celestia 2 minutes before the maze had concluded... She had felt the presence of 5 of her clones of the mane 6 disappear. The twilight clone remained. The clones She had created represented the opposite of the 6. However, they were not exact opposites of the six. They looked the same as them, but were opposites in many regards. The first of the shadow clones to have been destroyed, Pinkie Pie. Her element was not laughter, but the schadenfreude. The joy at laughing at others misery, put a smile on her face. Even if she had to go to the extremes to do it. This version of her was more sadistic and would enjoy the pain, especially torture of others. However, she still would take the subtle pleasure of seeing another being experience the same act that she would do smile at her failures out of respect. The next of the 5 to meet their demise, was the partial opposite of the element of kindness, Fluttershy. This element was the element of superiority. She was condescending, and always thought of herself first. She considered all life below her as she derived extreme pleasure from another bowing down to her and admitting she was better. This led to her downfall in battle as she only took into account herself as she walked right into the match and got killed second of the 5. Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash. They each represented Deceit, Greed, and Trapping, despite Rainbow being mostly opposite, she was mostly the same. Rainbow was mostly the same due to her still making brash decisions and was simple minded. She was also modest with herself and did no let her skill get to her head. She rushed into battle after setting up only one trap in the maze, before revealing herself in an attack on one of the humans, inevitably getting a new hole in her neck. Rarity was also similar to her old self, in the aspect that they both enjoyed fashion. She makes the designs by herself, for herself. She collected various things and would not let go of any more bits than she needed too. Due to her collecting a lot of stuff, she found various uses for even the smallest of things. She was different in the regard that she was resourceful and made great use of what she had. She would manipulate others to get what she wants. Her death was the most ironic considering that she did not take advantage of the gunpowder in the room or the room itself, she also died by her own knives and cloak which she held so dear and made great use of. Applejack was probably the most simple of the bunch, the only thing that changed about her was that she was a chronic liar and nothing got the entire truth out of her. She would always find a way to lie and make things worse. This made her happy as she thought it was entertaining to watch others confused and misled. She was bested in a bout of raw ability because she lied to herself about the opponents strength. Twilight Sparkle, the only survivor of the opposite mane 6, represented cowardice. She would not put herself in a bad situation due to the danger. She was not as powerful as the normal twilight, but instead was more clever with her powers. This version of Twilight is more street smart than book smart. Shadow Twilight teleported to Princess Celestia in an instant. "They were too powerful, I could not take them. I'm sorry, master." Shadow Twilight said to her. "No, it's okay my little pony. I will give you another chance in the final phase." Princess Celestia said to Twilight's shadow clone. Point of view: Killua Zoldyck... Damn, Hisoka made it, that's not good... Killua eyed the muscular teen with the Japanese school uniform with blood on his sleeve. I did not expect any non-users survive this far... He must have gotten lucky. I guess by that logic, Crazy is even luckier than him- Killua's thoughts came to an abrupt halt as him and everybody there was teleported out of the maze. Where are we? Killua asked himself as he saw the vast field before him. The other three people were there, confused alongside him, excluding Crazy who sat unconscious on the grass before them. In the distance was the final place they needed to reach. They did not know this until a location about 5 miles away was lit up by an unknown source. A voice came from behind them. "This is the final phase of my test. Reach that glowing light and touch it, you are free to go. You will be chased by a shadow clone of my personal student, Twilight Sparkle. I have infused one tenth of my power into this clone." What a stupid name. Are all of the names of the people here named like that? Weird. Killua went and picked Crazy up. He needed Crazy alive to finish teaching him the four basic principles of Nen. To do this he would escape with him and find a place where he could hide. He only was willing to teach him the first four principles, he had a goal he needed to achieve, to protect Alluka. "I will give you a headstart of 20 seconds. Starting now." The Princess who had spoken left as soon as she came. Killua ran, in fact he ran very, very fast. At least to the eyes of Jotaro Kujo as he stood there comprehending how fast the kid had just ran. Killua made it there in a matter of 6 seconds. Jotaro, on the other hand, was not so fast. The goal was around a mile away from start to finish. Jotaro had made it halfway before the 20 seconds were up. Meanwhile, Hisoka had not moved from the start, waiting to battle. XXX Hisoka had a little bit of trouble, but eventually beat the shadow clone of Twilight relatively easily. The whole time the clone accidentally targeted Crazy whenever an attack missed due to his curse. It was around half of Hisoka's raw power, but was too inexperienced in real battle. Jotaro had made it to the end, missing the fight. Before he got there, Princess Celestia showed up and spoke. "I never expected you to beat my disciple, even if she was a clone with only one tenth of my power. Nonetheless, you passed. You are free for the next 24 hours to do whatever you like before I get the royal guard to get you back. Enjoy." She again left unceremoniously and silently. The first thought that came to Killua's mind was, Well. That was short. Killua was not complaining though. He needed to get Crazy an arm cast and him up and running. Literally, Crazy had potential, but was not very physically fit, well at least not to his standards. XXX Killua, still carrying Crazy over his shoulder had made his way to the forest. It was relatively normal to Killua, he had been in many forests with all kinds of foreign animals before. For example the chimera ants. Killua shivered at the thought of the chimera ants. He knew that he could handle whatever the forest had in store for him though. Killua found a good location to set Crazy down, next to a cliff face. He was partially sheltered from the elements like rain in this location. Killua decided to scout the location out for fresh water and recognizable food. He scaled the cliff quickly to get to higher ground. At least I was right about something... //-------------------------------------------------------// Final x Teachings //-------------------------------------------------------// Final x Teachings Two Months later... Crazy and Killua rarely spoke to each other. When they did, most of the time it was just Killua explaining how he would train. The poison that had affected Crazy was temporary. It had lasted around 2 days until he was up and running for his life. That's right, running for his life. Killua found out pretty soon that Crazy was a bit of a coward. Also he had basically no motivation whatsoever. He tried increasing his stamina and speed the traditional way. But then tried putting Crazy's life on the line with a daily session of running away until he had the strength in his arms to move a 2 ton boulder. His left arm had healed in the first month. Crazy thought that he alone was the crazy one... The opinion Crazy had for Killua went from good mentor, to speed demon. Emphasizing the 'demon' part. Crazy had learned the hard way that Killua likes it when people learn things the hard way because it was quick and efficient. His opinion also changed from sane mentor, to insane mentor. Crazy also had to worry about the woods, they had numerous creatures that would at the beginning of the first week, would have torn him to ribbons. Especially Killua. During the running, Crazy was allowed to use any means to escape. It did work in the end however, as Crazy was running like the wind by the second week from Killua. They did this running away training until sunset, by then they would return to camp and start a fire for food that they caught. They got food and water while running, the only time Crazy was not running, or shoving, or attacking, was when he was attempting to sleep. The reason why is because apparently he decided to steal some training from his old mentor. Where apparently he would tie large rocks to a rope which Crazy would have to hold all night. Killua would also cut these ropes from time to time. There were many, many bumps on his head by morning. Eventually Crazy countered this by kind of staying awake, but not really. The only way he could describe it was leaving part of his brain awake, as absurd as it sounds. This stopped all the rocks from falling on his head. Crazy had learned to hunt in the time that he had been running. Since he was always running, he picked up rocks and threw them fast, and hard towards the head of his prey to decapitate them. Eventually, he threw rocks almost as fast as bullets. He had to make the rocks go that speed so that they were faster than his running speed, which had multiplied by around three times within the two months he had trained. He would cook the prey he caught during the night after recovering the corpses. Every time Crazy managed to get away from Killua while running away, he would do some self training. He would sit in a small meadow and find himself meditating. The grass was long so he did not have to worry about being seen. This was no secret to Killua he kind of just allowed it, mostly because it was still training, just of his ten, the first of the four principles of Nen. Crazy would leave this little secret location after an hour at most every day. Killua would continue to chase shortly after he left the location. Crazy still had to wear the 100 kilo vest, he now also had to drink water from the 80 kilo cup, the only exceptions were when he was trying to move the 2 ton rock, or when he slept. He tried to move the rock once every two days. He had finally moved it on the 59th day. XXX From behind Crazy, he heard Killua's voice and he sprinted as fast as he could. "Wow. Tell you what, I will go full speed instead of half, how about that?" He said in a bored tone as he sprinted ahead of Crazy twice as fast as before. What, I was just gaining ground on him barely in the past two weeks! He was half of his speed since the start! No way! Killua came to an abrupt halt ready to attack. Crazy had anticipated this and jumped right, into the denser forestry. This had all happened within one second. Crazy would be surprised, if he had time to slow down. He was busy utilizing his whole body to run faster and more precise. He moved through the dense part of the forest with great precision. Only problem being that Killua was far more precise than him, and was quickly gaining ground. Crazy walked by a small pond and picked up two pebbles up of of the shore and put them in his hands. He hid them from Killua's view. He jumped over the pond and saw his reflection. Seeing his reflection was a breath of fresh air for him. Looking down at his blue eyes, and curly, dirty blonde hair. He tended to stay away from mirrors, so this sight was not seen every day. He threw one of the pebbles at Killua's stomach, it hit due to the close proximity of Killua at the moment. It was not a hard throw but it made Killua look away for a moment. Crazy took advantage of this situation and took the pathway to the right while he threw the other pebble at the tree on the left pathway. He threw the pebble hard, it hit hard enough to make a small hole leading through the tree. Crazy ran full speed on the right pathway, obscuring him from view within a second. Killua heard the noise the pebble made from hitting the tree, and went to the left. The plan Crazy had made worked, due to Killua changing to the left path instead of following him down the right path. Crazy knew it was only a matter of time before he found him again, so he ran back to the campgrounds. He wanted to do an alternate strategy where instead of hiding in the forest, he would wait at the campsite. Crazy activated zetsu, concealing his aura and waited. While he waited, he practiced ten by meditating. Hours Later... The sun had begun to set in the sky. Killua had just returned, except this time he had brought the 80 kilo cup with him. The cup was full of water and had a leaf floating in the middle. "What is that for?" Crazy asked Killua. "This is for later, first I will teach you the next two principles of Nen." "Really! I've waited forever for this! Yes!" Crazy was overjoyed at the news, he had been waiting like two weeks for this! He was really impatient most of the time so this was so relieving. Killua set the cup down on a rock near the cliff face. "First, I will teach you Ren. It is simple really, just exert your aura but release more at a much faster rate. Due to this, it will increase your strength and speed. However, it is harder to maintain than ten." "Its that simple? Okay." Crazy followed his orders. His Ren was rough, but it was Ren nonetheless. "Good, now use your Ren and focus it on the cup." He did as he was told once more. Nothing changed about the water, or the leaf. What? Why is nothing happening? Crazy was confused as he did not see anything happen. Killua motioned him aside and did something Crazy did not expect, he tasted the water. "You are a transmuter." "Transmuter? Whats that? Why did you taste the water?" "As a transmuter you are able to change the properties of your nen." That's really vague... Killua spoke again. "For example, you changed the water from flavorless, to sweet." "I did? Cool!" Crazy said. This is all he could respond with, he had no idea what to do with this power. Crazy thought of a question. "Hey Killua, if I can change the properties of my aura, can I make it have the same properties of fire?" "Yeah, but the fire would still burn you, only other Nen users would be able to see it, but you would not be immune unless you transmuted some more aura to make it heat resistant." Well, damn. It seemed Killua was not done speaking. "That brings me to the fourth basic category of Nen, Hatsu. Hatsu is basically your special Nen ability that you create." "Say, Killua. Whats your Hatsu?" "Its a secret." So close to learning his abilities... But not really... Crazy thought to himself quietly. Crazy sat down with the rope in hand, deep in thought. XXX They remained silent for the rest of the night, of course, after they put out the fire Killua recently made. Crazy was not looking when Killua started the fire, or put it out. He was too busy to catch food that day. 2 Hours Before Sunrise... Killua woke up and silently walked out of the camp. A thought appeared in his head. The reason why I rushed you yesterday, was because I have to leave today. I have to see my friends, they have waited for me long enough. I would take you with me if you were fully trained in Nen. Sadly, there is no more time that I have to spare training you. Killua had already left while he thought this. XXX The moon slowly inched it's way down into the horizon, while parallel to it the sun's rays washed over the land as the sun rose into the sky. Crazy rose from his slumber as the light hit him, and found no trace of Killua. Killua! Where are you! Crazy mentally panicked, Killua was usually there in the morning and he was not at the stream either. Crazy stopped, He rationalized and thought Killua was only temporarily gone and hunting. He sat and tried to meditate. The same thought ruined his peace though, thus not allowing him to meditate. What if Killua does not come back? Do I just continue alone? This same thought occurred to him over, and over again until he could not bear it. He stopped meditating and stood up. He activated his Ren. So this is Ren, it increases my physical strength? We will see about that. Crazy walked up to the tree on his right. "What are you looking at!" Crazy talked to the tree. "You can't talk... WELL SCREW YOU THAN!" Crazy shouted as he punched the tree. There were a lot of outcomes Crazy had predicted would happen when he punched the tree. The one he most expected was for him to hit the tree and grip his hand in pain as that was a stupid idea. However, what he did not expect was what happened. He punched straight through the tree. What the hell? I have a lot more strength that before! The effect was that the punch had made a really loud noise and he could just feel all of the wildlife in the area ready to attack him. "That cannot be good~" Crazy said with excitement as he heard rustling in the bushes. //-------------------------------------------------------// Stupid x Plan //-------------------------------------------------------// Stupid x Plan So, as it turns out, the only thing staring at Crazy was a pastel colored pony. Just one creature, one that he had no intention of getting close too. He had started running based of of reflex due to his training. Also, he screamed like a banshee when he started running. He had completely forgot that the natives were all equine creatures. After all, he only stayed in the forest for the past two months. He heard shouting behind him. "Hey..." The voice was clearly female and keeping up with him. Crap, I did not think it would be able to tail me at these speeds! I wont be able to maintain this speed much longer, I need a plan! Crazy was running at his maximum speed but still knew something was catching up, and fast. He could hear her slicing through the air above him. Crazy did what he knew how to do, he activated zetsu and changed directions, all while staying out of sight. Crazy knew that if he was captured, his life was over. He turned around from his position to see his opponent. She was a Pegasus with a grey coat, yellow mane, and was cross eyed. He was not so sure that she could even see him at the time. He felt a bit guilty by running away from her... Alas, it meant nothing to him, he was still going to run away. After all, she was still faster than him. He ran in the opposite direction not giving her the chance to correct her trajectory. He knew that he would still be able to be seen if he ran in the same direction, so he took a detour to the right. XXX Crazy had been running for around 10 minutes now, picking up small rocks during the run just in case he saw anything worthy of being called dinner. He had slowed down considerably to a much more reasonable pace and speed so he did not eat away all of his stamina at once. He saw a rather high hill in the distance. Seems like a reasonable place to take a look at where I am. He ran to the peak of the hill with relative ease. What he saw made him feel like a complete idiot for not noticing, an entire town was right next to him. Crazy was considered somebody to get lost easily, but come on! He was sure now that he had literally ZERO sense of direction. Crazy observed the town further to see if there was anything interesting about it. Until he saw a bunch of pastel colored ponies walking about the town. Oh yeah... The people are all colorful ponies. Yeah, I have definitely lost my marbles. I'm pretty sure I already noticed. After all, I do call myself Crazy... Crazy was now entirely sure his living predicament was going to be rough from this point forwards due to the Pegasus telling everyone about him. Good news is, at least there is a new landmark for me to remember not to visit... The newly fallen tree. Also, I'm a coward. Come on! What will one cross eyed talking pony do to you? Other than put a hole in your stomach... Oh yeah... Crazy remembered the death of his friend Pajamas. He regretted bringing it up with himself. Crazy remembered how he even passed the test in the first place. God damn it. The only reason I passed that test was because I was just in the right place at the right time. When will I ever do anything for myself. Hell, the only reason I got this far was because of Killua. Problem being that he is gone... Crazy regained his senses and came up with a solution to his problem. First off, I will have a very obvious solution to my problem. I will live deeper in the woods! That way I am not having the immediate risk of death or capture! Or death from capture! Crazy stopped as he realized something with this plan. It was boring. Crazy did not like to do boring things as stupid as it sounds. He likes to do high risk, high reward plans. The idea he had in mind was not a very smart one. In fact, there was a high risk of it failing miserably. Crazy was going to steal a bunch a stuff while they slept. Crazy was sure that he would most likely have no use for any of the stuff he would take. Crazy was going to go and steal crap until he realized that he was going to wait until sundown. Well what better way to wait until sundown than train your REN! Crazy sighed realizing the voice in his head was right. He decided that he was not going to miss out on all of the fun, he would train his REN the old fashioned way. In a fight! Crazy ran into the forest outputting his REN actively searching for something to fight. Again, another stupid move on his part. Crazy was running normally until he realized that there was an opening in the leaves. He charged into it, eager to see the other side, lacking all caution whatsoever. This was a big mistake as soon he found himself falling off of a cliff. He jumped at the final part though. "WHAT NO! I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT GRAVITY!" Crazy shouted as he plummeted to his doom. He realized that he was being launched forward from his jump as well and was going to go splat against a giant tree. Crazy did what he does best in this situation, stop and think of a crazy, risky, and undeniably stupid plan. He looked at the tree again and saw that it was leading into the small village he encountered just before, and that it had windows. He had a plan. He activated his ren so that he would be hurt the least as he was going to kick his way through the tree. Stupid plan right? Surprisingly his plan worked, and Crazy now wished now that it did not work. As of now he was staring into the large eyes of six pastel colored ponies in front of him. "This does not look good here, um... AH!" Crazy was lifted off of the floor by a purple aura. Crazy had to think fast, and run fast, or he was toast. He threw a small rock at the purple unicorn that was using its horn. It was kicked out of the air by the one with a hat, but it was too late. It had made the purple unicorn lose focus and drop him. He did not need a second warning, he was already running as fast as he could. As it seemed, most of them could keep up with him and then some. He turned to every alleyway that he saw in hopes of losing them, none of it was working due to the pink one showing up out of the most unorthodox of locations and warning the others of his own. WAIT A MINUTE, I KILLED THE PINK ONE BACK AT THE FIRST PHASE OF THE TEST! THAT'S NOT GOOD AT ALL! How is she alive? I AM SO DEAD! Crazy had all of these questions running through his mind. There was a open door to a house at he next turn, he paid it no mind. Just to clarify, Crazy did not turn and go in the house, he meant to run past it. But while passing by it he heard a certain set of words. "STAR PLATINUM, THE WORLD!" In the next moment he was in the darkness of the house not moving with the door to the house closed. Crazy observed his surroundings, he was in a long since abandoned home. There was a man in the shadows. "Shh!" Said the man in the shadows. "No way!" "Good grief. Its me, Jotaro." "I know that, we need to run!" "Calm down, we are safe in here. I have yet to be captured by those annoying little horses in this location. It seems that they choose to avoid this place for some odd reason." "By the way, how did you do that? Your star platinum thingy?" "You mean this?" A ghost or seemed to float out of the side of his body. "What the hell is that Jotaro!" "Its a Stand, weird. Are you a stand user." "Not that I am aware of..." "Strange, only other stand users are supposed to see this thing, but who knows. Those ponies were able to see my stand, you are not one of them are you?" Jotaro's stand threateningly looked ready to punch the crap out of Crazy. "I'm not one of them! If I was, I wouldn't be running from those freaks!" Crazy said to Jotaro. "I'm going to need more than that, where did we first meet." "The mess hall!" Crazy said loudly, but not really because he did not want to blow their cover. Jotaro's stand went back inside of him. "Sorry about that, what happened to you to get those 6 annoying horses coming after you?" "I don't wanna talk about it... Its been a long day." Crazy said in a stressed tone. "I am a bit on edge about everything that has been happening in these past two months. I still can't find a way out of the town despite the amount of time I have been here. They know that I am here. Its like they were waiting for something..." That's when something clicked in Crazy's mind. "Shit! We have to leave now! Something is coming for us and soon! You ask just the right questions my friend! One of the ponies is coming and they are going to be able to catch us!" "That's a rather bold assumption, I don't think we should draw conclusions so soon-" Jotaro was cut off by a banging on the doors. The doors would not hold for much longer. "Shit, they are coming in! Crazy lets fight them!" Jotaro turned around to see that Crazy had already ran away. "Tch. I should have not trusted that brat-" Jotaro would have continued but he was shoved from behind by Crazy. "PUNCH A HOLE THROUGH THAT WALL JOTARO OR WE BOTH DIE! I CANT FIGHT AND RUN AT THE SAME TIME COME ON!" Jotaro quickly broke the wall down, it collapsed the house behind them. "Good now lets get out of here!" They both started running with what little time they gained from that distraction. Crazy stopped for a moment. "What the hell are you doing! We need to run!" Shouted Jotaro. Crazy was taking off his 100 kilo vest. He did not know how that he had forgot to take it off, the only explanation behind it was that he was just so used to it being there. The vest landed on the ground with a loud thud. "Yeah, sorry. I was being weighed down by that vest. Lets go!" Crazy ran, almost accidentally leaving Jotaro in the dust. Jotaro grabbed on with his stand. Crazy did not seem to notice the extra weight of Jotaro at the moment. Crazy continued to run until he saw a bridge leading to the outskirts of town. Crazy had noticed Jotaro on his back. "I need you to get rid of that bridge over there Jotaro. If we destroy the bridge they will have trouble getting to us. It will buy us some more time." Jotaro got off when they crossed the bridge to outside of the town. Jotaro used his stand to destroy the bridge. Crazy spoke to him. "Looks like we have some time to breath in peace, lets head into the forest." "Yeah." They proceeded to walk int the woods and set up camp for the rest of the day. XXX Both Jotaro and Crazy had fallen asleep in the woods, there was a rustle in the bushes. Crazy awoke at the sound and spoke. "SHIT! THIS IS NOT GOOD JOTARO WAKE UP!" Jotaro did not wake up. To be continued... //-------------------------------------------------------// Looming x Shadows //-------------------------------------------------------// Looming x Shadows "He won't be waking up anytime soon, human." Said a feminine voice from the shadows. Crazy tried to wake Jotaro with force now, kicking him on the ground. He remained asleep, albeit looking a bit more pissed off. Crazy gave up and spoke to the figure in the darkness. "Who are you? What do you want?" Crazy asked the figure in the shadows. He was slowly beginning to feel tired, so he activated his ten. Crazy felt less tired as soon as he did. Little did he know that this protected him from the sleep spell she was using to make him tired at the moment. "Tch, seems that you have some basic protection from my sleep spell. It means very little to me that you do, human. I am the Princess of the night and the keeper of dreams. I am not here to fight, I am here to talk." Crazy scowled at this lie. "I am no fool. If you wanted to talk, you would not have activated that spell of yours." Crazy said, preparing to fight. "Perhaps I should make myself clear. I wanted to talk." What! Why does she want to talk! Oh, crap. I just realized something, isn't she the one responsible for getting me imprisoned in the first place! Yes, she must be. I remember everyone falling asleep in the camp and we got captured! NO WAY! I NEED TO RUN! Crazy did not waste any more time talking to this 'princess' of the night, he ran! Of course, he could not go five feet before the Princess teleported in front of him. Crazy suspected this from a creature that holds itself in high regards. He decided if he wanted to survive this encounter, he was going to have to play dirty. He picked up some dirt and threw it at her face. It worked for around 5 seconds. Crazy had ran back to Jotaro and took one of the metal things off of his hat. Sorry Jotaro, but i'm going to need this for us to escape. Forgive me, I might damage this piece a bit. He pushed Jotaro into the bushes, and then lightly shoved the metal piece he took from Jotaro's hat into his pocket. "Damned ape! I'll kill you SLOWLY!" The princess of the night rubbed the dirt out of her eyes only to see that both of them were gone. "HA! You choose to run! ITS FUTILE TO RUN FROM THE NIGHT!" She shouted. Crazy was hiding in a nearby bush, ready to throw the metal piece at her. He jumped out of the bushes and threw the piece. It missed her by a mile. She turned around and laughed. "HA! You can't even hit me, yet you want to win in this battle!" That was when Crazy threw a rock at the metal piece from outside of her view. It created sparks and made a loud ting upon being hit by the rock. She noticed it, successfully distracting her from him for enough time for him to attack again. Crazy threw two rocks at her. The first grazed her and drew blood, the next rock missed. The princess of the night turned around, fuming in anger but Crazy was gone. He had activated zetsu while pushing Jotaro in the river. Damn, this water is cold! Crazy thought as he waded deeper into the water with Jotaro. Crazy swam them both down the river as fast as he could. XXX The night had passed, rather uneventfully in fact. Crazy swam down the river fast at the beginning so he could lose the princess of the night, then he just went with the flow of the river until he saw the place to get off at. It was a small cave, it looked unlikely to harbor any life that would be bigger than him. The mouth of the cave was around 6 feet, which Crazy had trouble getting Jotaro in due to his tall stature. He started a small fire outside of the cave to dry their clothing and attempt not to catch hypothermia. He put Jotaro in the entrance to the cave, the cave went further than that, but Crazy was exhausted enough as is and did not want another adventure. The rest of Crazy's morning was spent training his REN by punching trees over and wondering what was further into the cave that Jotaro laid dormant in. He could have sworn he saw a light in there. Must be another exit to the cave. I should check it out. Fatigued, Crazy stopped punching trees and got up from his sitting position. I should at least check the location of the exit out, maybe it could be something else. Something... dangerous. He started towards the light, slowly and hesitantly. He slowly made his way over to the light, it was just around the corner of his current position. He turned the corner, it was another entrance to the cave. He sighed in relief, happy it was just another exit. He made his way back to Jotaro, he was still asleep. A thought appeared to Crazy, it was an obvious thought which he had yet to consider in a while. Why have I been able to run so fast recently? I know that I have never ran as fast as I have in those past two months. There is something strange about this world. Or for that matter, something is strange about the forest. I feel more energized by every day in the forest. Even though this energy I feel is still being given, it seems like its giving less and less. Crazy heard wing beats outside. No way! It has barely been any time at all! How did they track me down so fast! The wing beats passed overhead. Ah, so they have not pinned down my exact location. Good. That buys me some time. He picked Jotaro up and walked down the cave to the second exit. There were shadows on the second exit, looking suspiciously like a pony. Shit, I need to go back! He turned around to see the shadow of another pony waiting for him. "Capture him." Said the shadow from the second exit. "WHAT-" Crazy suddenly felt a force hit him in the neck. His vision blurred as he faded away into unconsciousness. To Be Continued... //-------------------------------------------------------// A New Goal //-------------------------------------------------------// A New Goal Crazy was shaken back into consciousness by Jotaro. "Where the hell are we!" "Come on, mom. Five more minutes." Crazy said in a tired voice and rolled over. "Good grief Crazy, we have been captured and are imprisoned!" Jotaro shouted at Crazy. "Oh yeah, about that..." Crazy said in a nervous voice. "Sorry, I could not evade them much more. I'll explain to you what happened." Halfway through explaining the events that had led all the way up to this moment, Jotaro spoke up. "That's great and all, but we have bigger things to worry about." It was then that he realized a noise coming from down the hall. It was the quiet trotting of hooves on the wooden floors. The trotting got louder by the second. "Where are we anyway, we are not in a cell it looks like. Have you tried using that door up there Jotaro?" Crazy asked him. "Yeah, it won't budge. Even my stand could not open that mysteriously strong door." Crazy looked around. "We seem to be in some sort of basement. Due to the quantity of the books on the walls, this could be the basement of some sort of library." Crazy observed. Jotaro spoke again, but spoke urgently. "We should hide and attack once it has it's back turned to one of us giving an opening." Crazy nodded to him. Jotaro jumped over to a couch in the corner of the room. The door slammed open. Crazy had located his spot and was hiding behind it on the other side of the room. Crazy heard a voice from the top of the stairs. "The war against humans is over you know, they surrendered." "WHAT! IT IS!" Crazy responded from behind the horrible spot he chose to hide in, behind the comically thin lamp pole. He could hear Jotaro face palm from the other side of the room. Crazy walked out from behind his cover. "Yes, it has been for around a month since they surrendered." The pony in question came into view. It was a purple colored unicorn with a pink stripe in it's mane. Wait, you were the pony I saw when I fell off of a cliff into your house! Crazy thought to himself. He had a plan to act like it never happened at all in the conversation. He was already at a disadvantage here. "Oh, yeah. My name is Twilight Sparkle, me and my friends tracked you two down to tell you the war was over! One of the princesses tried to tell you before but you guys ran off. So me and my friends got you to tell you about it." Oh, so that princess of the night was telling the truth. I feel kind of bad about attacking her now... Twilight continued to speak. "I would let you stay here, but my home is not exactly in the best condition at the time. Something came through the wall the other day. I am still trying to find what hit..." Before Twilight could continue rambling on and on, Crazy spoke up. "Sorry to bother you, and thank you for the news! But, I am afraid I must be leaving now." Crazy motioned Jotaro to follow him. They were about to walk out the door when they heard Twilight's voice behind them. "WAIT!" She shouted to them. Crazy jumped and turned around, clearly stunned. Jotaro calmly turned around, his face remaining expressionless. "Don't you need a place to stay... I have friends that can give you find a place." Crazy opened his mouth to speak but Jotaro spoke before him. "We'll manage on our own." Crazy agreed with his statement, he just found out the war is over and now they just up and offer him a place to stay, sounds kind of fishy. I am glad you did that, now I can get out of this weird place. Crazy walked up the stairs into the main room of the tree home. He felt pretty happy about the war being over. Jotaro followed up the stairs shortly after. Crazy looked at the hole in the library wall seeing how he would exit the tree. He climbed up the wall to the hole and made his way through it. When he hit the ground below he heard a door open next to him. Jotaro had used the front door. "Well, this is the part where we split up... I guess." Crazy said to Jotaro. Jotaro did not turn around to face him, but instead continued looking ahead while he spoke. "Later." It was a simple response. But, it was the best possible response to tell Crazy coming from him. Crazy grinned. "Yeah." He responded simply. Jotaro steadily walked out of the town. XXX Crazy had lost sight of Jotaro after around five minutes. He spoke to himself. "Well, I am going to need a job." It was at this point that he started to look around the area. I could go into town but I would cause a commotion... Screw it, I'm going in. Crazy looked for job signs in the area that looked like the shopping center. No job signs? I must look harder! It was at this point Crazy realized something. Wait an minute, why do I need money anyway? Can't I just live in the woods? Time to go build a house in the woods! Crazy thought to himself. I am surprised that I did not think of this before. Am I an idiot or something? No... I'm just crazy. Crazy went into the woods and started building his new home for the time being. XXX It was sundown, Crazy was looking at the frame to the home he built. "It's... Perfect." Crazy was standing up hands on his hips admiring the literal piece of trash he just made. It was only the frame of the house, but it still looked like crap regardless. Maybe I should have started with a lean-too shelter first. Well, can't change the past! Time to sleep! Crazy got some leaves and put them in a stack to lay on. "Ah, the best time to sleep. Goodnight me. Hopefully, my luck is not as bad tonight." He said to himself. Author's Note This is the final chapter of this story. Hope all of you guys enjoyed it. I will be making a sequel soon, I'm making a sequel that will transition to the first person perspective and less action at times, and some comedy in the mix as well. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Ambush During the Night //-------------------------------------------------------// The Ambush During the Night 3:57 pm, Eastern Standard Time, nation: Unknown It turned out this unknown voice was a greenhorn like him and was actually in his pajamas. An officer next to him spoke, "Crap, it seems we have been separated from the pack. But we have a plan for times like these!" The man spoke to retain order. Crazy looks over and sees the uniform the man was wearing, it was pretty plain and simple. No badges or medals but his voice had an edge to it. Like he had experienced many battles before. The man spoke again. " You see the sun, it's in the east we are heading to the capital which is north of here. We walk until we can't walk any more. OK troops." The people in uniforms spoke together in a very disciplined Manor. "Yes Sgt. Baker!" These people are crazy! But I'm Crazy so that won't work. But to more important matters, I have to get out of here. The troops started to move North now, Crazy was collected enough to know that he wanted out of this situation now. I can't escape now. They would expect that to happen. I need a plan. Crazy silently formulated a strategy in the back of his head. The faint sliver of the sun fades over the horizon as they were enveloped in the grace of the night. The group had already set up camp in the forest. They were sitting next to a fire. Crazy was still awake, but some had already fell to the temptation of sleep. Crazy went and sat next to the person wearing pajamas for his plan. Crazy was going to tell the person the plan and see if it will work. Crazy observed and the person in pajamas as he saw him blinking slowly, as if struggling to stay awake. Crazy shook the shoulder of the person his eyes fluttering open. "Oh he..." The person was interrupted by Crazy. "I have a plan to get away, listen closely." Crazy was fully ready to tell the plan to the man. "I'm listening." He shook his head while Crazy said it, almost as if to wake himself up. "Before that I need to know what to call you. What is your name." Crazy curiously asked the man. The man acted surprised like it was not what he expected. " James. My name is James." The man responded in a serious Manor. "Too long. I'm gonna call you Pajamas." Crazy rudely responded. "Are you serious! That's even longer than James. Are you stupid or something!?!" His tone was an annoyed one Crazy observed. "Alright to the plan. So Pajamas, we are going to stay awake the whole night so we can leave while they sleep. Got that? OK good. I won't tell you my name, just call me Crazy. OK." He said quickly giving Pajamas no time to respond in between. "It's James! Why can't you tell me yours? That name is pretty fitting by the way." Pajamas said the last part under his breath. Crazy did not hear the last part. "Crazy... Yeah, so what do you plan on once we escape?" Pajamas asked accusingly. "Crap, Pajamas is right. I really should have thought that through. Wait... That could work! If we were taken to one of the cities, we could ditch them there!" Crazy said out loud. "Pajamas! I thought of a new pl....." "Are you stupid, I heard everything you just said Crazy. Don't play dumb with me." He said with an edge to his voice. "Sorry. I tend to mess with people similar to yourself, especially you. Well I'm going to bed. G'night." Crazy started to lay down as he said this and snores could be heard coming from him. "What's that supposed to mean! Don't you fall asleep on me!" Pajamas shook Crazy's shoulder. "Wake up already kid!" Crazy laid down continuing to snore. "Good grief. I'm sick of staying awake." Said Pajamas before he drifted off into sleep. 30 minutes later Crazy arose from his fake snoring. The fire was put out. Everyone was asleep with the exception of him being awake. I can't believe my bluff worked! Wait... Why is everybody asleep, it's only been around 20 minutes since I started fake sleeping! No way I can sleep without a bed and that fast asleep. Or it may have to do with me being an insomniac due to the paranoia that came with my bad luck that came when I am tired and or asleep. Crazy made a decision. This is my chance to escape! First things first, I need to get Pajamas. Crazy quietly walked over to Pajamas and whispered in his ear. "C'mon get up this is our chance!" No response could be heard from his unconscious body. "Hey" Crazy shook Pajamas this time and said it a bit louder. "Wake up!" Crazy shouted into his ear and then punched him in the stomach hard. He puked, but stayed asleep not waking up at all just laying in his filth. Crap. He must be having one heck of a dream to not wake from that. How about I kick the person over there and see if he is having a great dream as well? Let's find out! Crazy walked over to the unconscious body of some random cadet and kicked him in the face. Safe to assume that that guy would be out of commission for a while. No response! My suspicion is correct. They must be in comas! Kind of like a spell... Crazy shook the thought out of his head. No, that's absurd. Magic is not real! Crazy left it at that and walked accidentally in the direction that he was going to head to in the first place. He had not walked far when he heard the sound of things hitting the sand, almost identical to the sound of a stampede. Crazy was careless and kept walking humming to himself with his eyes closed. He yawned getting more tired by the instant. *Yawns* If I fall asleep, bad things happen. I can not allow this. Crazy about to fall, caught himself before he did. No... Must... Not allow this... G'night. Crazy started to fall over. The last thing he heard has the sound of something repeatedly hitting the sand. Finally as he hit the ground his consciousness slipped his grasp before he could snap out of it.
