The Chatter Box Season Oneby TRIBOT 4000ChaptersEpisode 1Episode 2[Behind the Scenes(1)]Episode 3Episode 4Episode 5Episode 1Intro Music The screen fades in. Trochanter the changeling, naked as usual, sits in a blue armchair with a large smile on his face. "Good morning everyone and welcome to The Chatter Box. I am your host Trochanter, or Chanter if you want, and here beside me is my co-host, Ms Harshwhinney. How are you today, Ms. Harshwhinney?" A white couch separates Trochanter from an orange coated mare. Ms. Harshwhinney, sitting in her own chair, although it was less cushioned, replies in the posh way she was accustomed, "I am fine Mr. Trochanter." She turned to the camera, "And today we have something very interesting to talk about. Today, Princess Celestia herself is going to be our guest of honor." Chanter buzzed his wings in anticipation, "That's right Ms. Harshwhinney. Princess Celestia will be giving us a short explanation as to the reason behind sending her prized student, Twilight Sparkle, to the small unassuming town of Ponyville. She has yet to arrive, I'm sure she is very busy, running the country and all, but I would like to ask you Ms. Harshwhinney, why do you believe she did this." Ms. Harshwhinney gave a small chuckle and raised her hoof in a familiar gesture, indicating that the answer was obvious, "Well, if you look at the return of Princess Luna as Nightmare Moon, it's quite obvious really. Celestia knew the date of her sisters return and decided that sending someone she trusted, and someone who knew the power of Harmony cou…" "Wait a second." the changeling interrupted, "Wasn't Twilight a bit of a loner before she left Canterlot? I heard that she called the ponies in Ponyville crazy after a mere day with them." Ms. Harshwhinney was about to retort but instead put a hoof on her chin to think. After a few seconds she came to a realization, "That might actually explain a lot." "How so?" She cleared her throat, "Well, Twilight didn't fully understand the magic of friendship, so would it not make sense to send her somewhere she could learn it? The Princess was probably limited on time." Trochanter rolled his eyes, "She had a thousand years. I think that qualifies as enough time to think of a way to reform your sister from an evil inner demon." "Not if you are also blinded with grief!" Ms. Harshwhinney retorted, somewhat loudly, "Consider this: the very thought of Nightmare Night hurt her emotionally. She also had no way of knowing if her sister would be okay when she came back. ...What?" Trochanter was suddenly distracted by something off-screen, "I'm getting signaled by one of our studio ponies. It seems Celestia has arrived." He turned to the camera, "Well, with that, we are going to switch to a commercial as we help Celestia get ready and comfortable. Stay tuned!" Trochanter is sitting in the same seat, however, now, Princess Celestia is sitting in the white couch that seperates "Hello everyone, welcome back to the Chatter Box. I am your host, Trochanter, or Chanter for short. This lovely mare here is my co-host Ms. Harshwhinney, and no, your eyes do not deceive you. Princess Celestia, princess of Equestria is actually on set here with us." He motions to the Princess sitting in the couch, "Thank you very much for taking the time to come here and talk with us." Celestia giggles in a heavenly way and replies, "I am also very happy to be here Mr. Trochanter." "Please, just Chanter. Mr. Trochanter makes me feel old." silence reigns over the whole studio. Chanter looks down in embarrassment, "In hindsight, saying that to the several thousand year old princess does sound a bit conceited." Harshwhinney rolls her eyes as Celestia giggles. "Well, I'll humor you, if you will call me Tia for the duration of this interview. Goddess of the Sun makes me feel old." Chanter snickered and Harshwhinney broke into a small smile. "In that case, I guess we can start the first question. Ms. Harshwhinney?" The yellow maned manager of Equestrias Games picked up a clipboard from the coffee table and started reading. "The first question is 'Why did you send Twilight to Ponyville with such impeccable timing?'" Princess Celestia mulled over this momentarily before settling with an answer, "In complete honesty, I was placing a lot of my trust in my student, Twilight. She's such a bright little mare, but I was starting to fear that she was not getting out as much as she should have. When I sent her to Ponyville, she had no friends." Chanter chuckled and said, "One Nightmare Moon reformation later? Problem solved!" Celestia laughed at this, bringing a hoof to her face. Harshwhinney even giggled a little bit. Celestia added, "Completely fool proof. I do that for all my students." Chanter guffawed at this. When the laughter died down, Ms. Harshwhinney read the next question. "Second question, 'have you ever had to imprison somepony for asking something?'" "I am afraid I cannot answer that." Trochanter and Ms. Harshwhinney both nodded in understanding, "Next question, 'In a short amount time, your 1,111st year of raising the sun alone will occur, but you and Luna had discovered the elements and beaten Discord over 2,000 years ago. Did you both just work together until then?'" Celestia smiled devishly. Trochanter was one of the first to notice this. "She's smiling everyone. That's not a normal smile." "Yes," Harshwhinney added, "I must agree. No offence, Princess." "None taken. Um...the reason that is so confusing is because, everypony… oh, everyone I mean. Sorry. Everyone tends to believe that, because of my sisters very precise one thousand years of banishment, everyone tends to believe that it was exactly two thousand years ago. Think about the fact that the information has to travel through embellished history books over years and years." Trochanter nodded in understanding, "That makes sense. I'm sure there tons of things that have changed." Celestia nodded vigorously, "Yes! Yes. The first original Equestria Game use to have people pledging their first-borns to Yakistan Chiefs." "What?!" Ms. Harshwhinney shouted, wide-eyed. Luckily, Trochanter moved the time along. "Anyway, let's get on to the next question. If you would please Ms. Harshwhinney?" With a bit of struggling, Ms. Harshwhinney did eventually regain her composure, "Um... yes uh... the next question is 'What is the secret to your mane?'" Princess Celestia giggled and rolled her eyes before responding to this one, "It's actually a very old spell. Back when both Luna and I foal-sized, many ponies did their manes and tails in this fashion. It was basically a trend as one might have it." she chuckled and looked off into the distance, "You know, it's very interesting how something that used to be so common is now seen as amazing impossibility." Ms. Harshwhinney, being a mare, couldn't help but ask, "Do you ever plan revealing the spell to the public?" "Possibly." "Hmm... well, anyway, the next and final question is, 'Do you have any hooman in you..." "It's pronounced 'human'." "Oh, thank you. Ahem, 'Do you have any human in you?' and 'Do you want some?' Ugh! What a perverted young scoundrel. Asking such things of a mare. I may not know what exactly a human is but I understand the implications given. So very vulgar." "What is a human, Tia?" "Another question I'm afraid I cannot answer." Trochanter would have protested but got a neck-cutting motion from Ms. Harshwhinney and decided to let the matter go, "Well, either way, thank you, Tia, for joining us today. It has truly been a huge honor." Trochanter stood up and bowed low, as did Ms. Harshwhinney. "Please, stand up, the honor is all mine. Thank you so much for allowing me to come and give you share my knowledge." Trochanter looked back at the camera, "With that said and done, we are going to take one more commercial break before commencing with the final session of this show. Stay tuned!" Trochanter and Ms. Harshwhinney are once again in their respective seats, however, Princess Celestia is no longer there. Chanter is the first to get the conversation going, "So, what do you think Ms. Harshwhinney? Princess Celestia came, gave the show her 'blessing' per se, and it seems like our ratings are already through the roof." Ms. Harshwhinney scoffed haughtily, "It's quite obvious that the show is doing well merely due to the presents of our diarchy. I don't believe it was anything more." Trochanter sat up, surprise written all over his face. "How can you say something like that!? What isn't there to love about this show? You've got me, the peppy host who doesn't know when to shut up, you, the sexy co-host who's smarter than the host, and guests! This is bound to go on for longer than... longer than uh... some other show that... that's um... something. You know what I mean?" Harshwhinney frowned, clearly annoyed, "I'm going to ignore the fact that you just called me sexy and move right to the point. This is not a professional setting. In fact, I only agreed to this out of amusement... and possibly because Princess Celestia would be here. I don't plan on doing this for long." Trochanter pointed an accusing hoof, "You can't just bail out. We have a deal." "The deal was that if this show was still popular by the fifth episode, I would stay. After all, I do want nothing more than to please ponies at home. It is why I manage the Equestrian Games." Trochanter looked down despondently. Ms. Harshwhinney went on, "However, that is not to say I didn't enjoy today. I had a good time and if I am completely honest, I would definitely wish to do this again. I simply doubt ponies will want to see it." This brought a smile back to Trochanters face. Seeming to remember they were on air he smiled wide again. "Well, Ms. Harshwhinney. I hope the next episode is as good as this one was. With that said, I'm afraid that is the end of today's episode so have a day that really rocks, just like the Chatter Box. Good bye!" Harshwhinney nods and looks to the camera, "Yes. It would seem that today our special guest shall be none other than a mare named Trixie Lulamoon, a traveling magician." "Yes, that's right. Hold on to your bunnies and hide your poker cards, a magician is coming to town. Until then, Ms. Whinney…" Ms. Harshwhinney glared at Trochanter with eyes of a bloodthirsty organ-drinking murderous monster. Her growl resembled that of a minotaur chewing upon the remains of a Timberwolf, "Do. Not. Nickname. Me." Her words were simple and straightforward, cold like snowstorm that speaks only whispers. Trochanter fiddled the tie around his neck in nervousness, "Well uh... Ms. Harshwhinney, I was just gonna ask you: what are your own personal feelings about traveling magicians?" Returning to her less bone-crushing side, Ms. Harshwhinney cleared her throat to answer, "Well, I've always had the feeling that they are little... shall we say... last year. After all, she's not a true magician, especially with that stunt she pulled in Ponyville." "Yes, yes." Trochanter nodded in agreement, "I have to agree with you there." He turned to the camera as photos of a blue coated unicorn tying a small piece of rope around a Ursa ~~Major's~~ Minor's paw began displaying over the screen. As different photos faded through, the changeling host went on, "Trixie Lulamoon was said to have been in Ponyville only two days ago engaging in blatant and obvious endangering of the locals. Ms. Harshwhinney appeared at first glance to be unaffected, but upon closer inspection, you could see annoyance written in every time orifice of her face. "...are you ready to meet the greatest and absolutely most wonderful magician--er no... the absolutely most wonderful pony in all of Equestria!" A pony could be heard having an aneurism in the background. His inner screams of pain were somehow still heard. "Then please put your hooves up...!" Trochanter groans. "For the Great..." Ms. Harshwhinney's eyebrows furrow. "...and powerful...!" Trochanter couldn't take it any longer, "Trixie! Yes, damn it, we get it! Sit the (bleep) down!" Slowly, a blue figure nervously moved her way into the shot of the camera. She sat down in the chair glancing nervously between the glaring Harshwhinney and the seething changeling. After a few seconds, the ceased his aggressive leaning forward and sat back in his chair, his hooves once more on his face. They slid across his face as he blew out a deep groaning sigh. When his face was completely visible once more, his expression blissful happiness... hopefully. "I am going to use restroom for a moment." He announced. He stood up and exited. Ms. Harshwhinney snorted. "Second episode and he's cracked under the pressure." She looked back to Trixie and smiled, "Please don't mind him. I doubt he's ever had to deal with embarrassing guests in public before. I, however have a much higher endurance to stupidity." Trixie gasped, "The Great and Offended Trixie takes offence to..." "First question, 'Have you heard of the magician duo in Las Pegasus, Big Bucks and Jackpot?'" Trixie relaxed a little bit more and put a hoofed to her chin, "Well, of course the Great and Informed Trixie has heard of those two. They are some of the greatest magicians, aside from Trixie. We always look out for our own, especially if they are competition for Trixie." Ms. Harshwhinney grunted and was about to say the next question until something banged from out of the camera shot. Everyone looked off in the direction for a moment before Trochanter trotted back into camera and sat down. He seemed much calmer than before as he sat down. "I am very sorry for that. That was very rude of me, especially since you came as a guest. I apologize." "The Great and Forgiving Trixie accepts your apology." "The Great and Unamused Ms. Harshwhinney would like to ask the next question." "The Great and Noticing Trixie senses your sarcasm." "The Great and Emotionally-stressed Trochanter agrees with Ms. Harshwhinney. Next question, please." The Great and ugh, damn it... Ms. Harshwhinney asks the next question, "'Trixie... How did you feel when you were captured by the changeling Pharynx?'" Trixie didn't answer as she was unaware of such an event. This was likely because the one who asked the question did not realize changelings have not yet attacked nor have they become generally good as of yet. Also, if this were a meta story, the writer would go on to say that the timeline of this story still exist within the first season. But no one knows if this is what happened so the show went on. "Trixie is happy to say that she has never been captured in any way, although she will admit that there a few times Trixie has been tight situations." Trochanter and Ms. Harshwhinney waited for her to continue. "It was only a few years ago. Trixie was in Manehatten where I was to do a show for the Jade River's Medical Hospital." Ms. Harshwhinney raised an eyebrow, and if Trochanter didn't know any better, he'd say her face brightened up a little. "I didn't know you did charity work Trixie." "Well, contrary to what a certain protégé of Celestias may say, I am not heartless nor cruel. Well, maybe a slight bit cruel, but Trixie digresses." Trochanter nodded and looked up, presumably at a clock, "As much as I would like to talk more with you on that matter, I'm afraid that's all the time we have. Thank you, Miss Trixie for coming to talk with us. It's been a pleasure." "Oh, please. The pleasure was all Trixie's. To be honest, I was afraid you two were going to completely put me down because of the ruckus in Ponyville." Trochanter waved a hoof uncaring "No need. We already got a full report on it, and as it isn't so recent anymore, it's old news." he then looked back at the camera, "With that said and done, we are going to take one more commercial break before commencing with the final session of this show. Does Trochanter have a romantic interest in their co-host?'" After reading the letter, Harshwhinney sits back and crosses one back hoof over the other slowly, "Well, Mister Chanter? Do you?" Trochanter sputters a few times before answering, "Well... uh... you... you are um... quite... uh... quite pleasing to look at... I suppose." Seconds pass by before Ms. Harshwhinney turns to the camera with a soft smile. "Too easy." She says calmly before getting up and leaving, her smile having morphed into a scowl on her face. What had happened back there though? I know the question was embarrassing. People have a tendency to ask questions like that on shows like this. I wasn't terribly surprise, despite what some would say, but the shift in attitude Ms. Harshwhinney had was slightly alarming. I eventually caught up with her and called out, "Hey! Harshwhinney! What happened?" she didn't stop walking. I caught up enough to trot next to her. She didn't slow down or even glance at me. Her frown wasn't like her normal ones, and I was picking up a lot of strange emotions from her. It was a strange mix, she practically flooding with anger, but there were strong hints of sadness and rage. Some don't know this but anger and rage don't usually show up together. When you're angry, it's usually temporary and it might just how that pony regularly feels on a daily basis. Rage can cause loss of rational thought and a complete mental breakdown. Rage also has long lasting effects. I followed Ms. Harshwhinney in silence. Once we exited the studio, she headed for my office. I followed her inside and shut the door. She didn't slam the door in my face, not sure if that's good or bad. Harshwhinney was looking away from me at the moment, so I stood waiting for her to begin. "Why are you doing this?" she asked. I tilted my head in confusion. Why am I doing this? "Well, you kinda walked off in a huff. I thought it best to make sure you're okay." She shook her head, "No. I mean the show. What reason would you have for doing this?" I raised an eyebrow and buzzed my wings, irritated that she didn't understand at this point. "Because I enjoy it." "But why?! What's so great about putting yourself in embarrassing situations, conversing with ponies you haven't met for reasons other than business? Why?" Oh, I get it now. I smiled and walked over to Ms. Harshwhinney, "Have you ever made someone laugh? Gotten them to chuckle or smile at something you said?" I receive a no and went on, "Well, it's an amazing thing. For years, changelings have fed off of emotion, but we've never tried initiating that emotion ourselves. They have yet to realize that when an emotion directed towards the pony they think you are, it dampens the amount. A lot of the energy doesn't even go to the changeling and instead tries to find the real one it's directed to." I looked away, remembering a certain stallion I knew, "But when the emotion is directed straight at you, directly to the changeling themselves, it's amount is tenfold. We get full before there's even a chance of draining someone." "Is there a point to this history lesson?" I sighed and looked back at Harshwhinney, "I get to do that here. I get to make a show that will fill ponies and other creatures with laughs whenever they turn on the screen. I get to meet potential friends who I can make as happy as I am. I hoped to do the same for you. I still do Ms. Harshwhinney." She glanced away from me. I took a hoof and carefully lifted her chin so she was facing me. Those bright blue eyes glistened slightly, "You're a beautiful mare, Ms. Harshwhinney. Don't ever think different. You can make ponies feel good by being who you are, like you do for me." I stared into her eyes for a moment with a smile before turning around and opening the door. Before I could leave though. "Dew." I stopped and looked back at the orange mare. "What?" she shuffled her hooves, "Dew Harshwhinney. My first name's Dew. You can call me that... if you want." I smiled. "yes, Dew, I would like that." with that, I left, a spring in my step. Author's Note I know this isn't what you were expecting, but don't worry, the next episode with zecora is coming. Episode 3Intro Music The screen fades in. Trochanter is sitting in his regular chair, smiling at the screen. Ms. Harshwhiney is in her own chair, although, this time, there's a cushion on it. Not only this but an uncharacteristic smile also adorns her face. Strange. "Hello, everypony! Welcome to the Chatter Box. I'm your host Trochanter the Changeling, Chanter for short. To my left here is my co-host Ms. Harshwhinny. How are you today, Dew?" She smiles and responds, "I'm fine, although the traffic was horrendous today. I swear, the cab service is both the most efficient and most dangerous service we have these days." Trochanter chuckles at this, "I hear ya. I miss the days when the worst thing you had to worry about was if there were monsters under your bed. However, that is not what we're here to talk about. Who's our guest today?" "A Miss Zecora of the Everfree. I am ashamed to admit that I have no knowledge of this... uh... mare? I'm guessing she's foreighn, from the name. It sounds oddly Zebrican." "Close. Zecora is not only of zebrican decent, but is a zebra herself. Talk about a twist!" Ms. Harshwhinney raised an eyebrow, "There was no twi…" "Zecora is a zebra, who lives in a small hut made out of a tree in the middle of the Everfree. Another thing you might find intriguing, is that she always rhymes while speaking. Quite amazing, isn't it? I like her style, I must admit." "..." "On this very time of day, I ask why you look at me that way." "You're rhyming." "Very true, I like your style, deducting things all the while." the sounds of facehoofing could be heard around the studio. Ms. Harshwhinney rolled her eyes and picked a file from the table before leaning back and speaking out loud. "It says here that she's actually been a resident there for some time. The ponies always ran and hid when she came by. It seemed they were frightened by the hood and cloak she wore and the strange design on her body, common to zebras." She lowers the file and looks at Trochanter exasperated, "What kind of greeting is that?! Are they mentally impaired or something? How does a whole town of ponies not know what a zebra looks like? This is ridiculous. I would have left the town without a second thought." Trochanter nodded, "I can understand your feelings. However, you can't be too angry with them. Consider the fact that zebras don't interact with ponies that much. In fact, the only ones I know of that spend any span of time in Equestria, besides Zecora of course, are the delegates for the Zebrican lands." Ms. Harshwhinney huffed "That doesn't excuse them for their treatment of her." Trochanter faced the camera, "Well, on that note, we are going to break for a commercial. Trohanter and Ms. Harswhinney are both in their respective seats. Now, however, a zebra sits on the white coach between them. Her hooves and neck are adorned with golden rings, her man set in a type of mohawk. Trochanter is the first to speak. "Welcome back, everyone, to the Chatter Box. You're probably wondering who this beautiful young lady next to me is. Well, I'll tell you. It is Zecora, the zebra of the Everfree." He turns to said zebra, "How are you Miss Zecora? I really hope we don't bore ya." Zecora smiles happily, "On a day such as this, I must say, that I am having a wonderful day. I also thank you for your comment on my look, though I'll admit that your offer had me shook. I did not know something like this could exist. I hope you understand." "We get the gist." Ms Harshwhinney said, without a thought at all. But things became silent, like an empty hall. No voice was raised, no word was said, as Ms. Harshwhinney, annoyed, lowered her head. Trochanter chuckled at his co-hosts despair, before clearing his throat and scooting his chair. "So please Zecora, tell us all that you can, about the events in Ponyville, and of the ponies who ran." "Well, I'll do my best to tell the story. I hope I do not do so poorly." She clears her throat and then began, keeping each detail in perfect strand. She told of the princess who came to talk, and of the ponies who stood by and gawked. She told of the warning she gave to the others, of the poison joke she'd learned of from her mother. She spoke of the small one, who came the next day, and helped make the cure that would take the jokes all away. She told of changes, that were made for each one, and how, despite herself, she found it quite fun. When had Zecora finished, one could hear hooves clop for her, and if one looked closely, could see a joyful tear in her fur. "Wow." Trochanter said, "That was amazing. I already knew everything that had happened, but that right there was amazing. Do you rhyme like this for any particular reason or does it just come naturally?" Zecora took a sip of water before answering. "No, it's simply something that we did back in my home. Not all zebras did this, but we were not alone. Some do, some don't, but it matters not. After all, ponies are known to sing a lot." Ms. Harshwhinney smiled before grabbing her clipboard, "Touche. Now then. the first question is 'Why haven't we seen any representatives from your Homeland yet; haven't they made any contact with Equestria?'" Zecora nodded, "Yes, they have made contact, however, being social with ponies? Never. Most zebras consider your land to be filled with strange things, like walking on clouds, using your horns, and possessing some wings. Some fear the ridicule, which I received for a time, and some considered your lands to be filled with grime." Trochanter tapped his chin in thought, "Poor soul must have experienced Detrot first-hoof." Ms. Harshwhinney gave a knowing glance before going back to her clipboard. "Next question: 'Why did you leave your original place of living and settle down in the Everfree Forest? It doesn't seem safe.'" Zecora lowered her head slightly, and lost her smile. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to. These are optional." "No, no, it is fine. Just something on my mind. I left home for family reasons, and to this day, some call it treason. I was betrothed to one, but I loved another. One not accepted by father or brother. They banished him to location I do not know, so I spent many years in desert and snow to search for the one that I loved, but I fear death has taken him above." There was a moment of respectful silence before she continued, "Because of this, I decided to leave home, and venture outwards all alone. I chose the Everfree for the privacy, and because of home it reminded me. As long as one is careful, there is nothing of which to worry. The forest can be calm, and not a place of fury." As Zecora finished, Trochanter prepared to say something, but was interrupted by the zebra, "Also, my name is spelled with a 'k' in my homeland." Silence reigned over the studio for minutes. No one dared to speak. This revelation had put everyone off track. Not only had ~~Zecora~~ Zekora not told how her name was truly spelled, further proving that the letter 'c' is a useless letter, but she also did not rhyme her sentence. Trochanter came to the rescue though. "I must admit that I personally find it grand." Ms. Harshwhinney rolled her eyes. "Anyways, thank you Miss Zekora for joining us today, but I'm afraid we haven't anymore time left." "I had a wonderful time, it was quite fun. It's nice to tell my story to someone." trochanter smiled and then looked at the camera, "With that said, tune in for our little conclusion after the commercial." She responds, "It also put a lot of things into perspective, such as: maybe Equestria isn't as open as we think it is." Trochanter shook his head in thought, "I disagree, but only for one reason. Just consider that many of the zebras don't actually want to come to Equestria. Why would you ever want to leave your home?" "What if your home isn't the nicest place?" Ms. Harswhinney responded, "Like Zekora experienced." "I don't mean to say that she shouldn't have left, but if everyone leaves, how do you solve the problem? If you everyone just leaves, that's not going to make things better for your home. How long has it been since she's been home? Maybe things are better now." "I doubt it. I don't care what species you are, everyone is stubborn about things like this." "That may be so, but still..." a hoof signaled from the side of the camera. Trochanter is sitting in his regular chair, smiling at the screen. Ms. Harshwhiney is in her own chair, her now well-known cushion on it. "Hello, everypony! Welcome to the Chatter Box. I'm your host Trochanter the Changeling, Chanter for short. To my left here is my co-host Ms. Harshwhinny. How are you today, Dew?" "I'm doing fine Chanter. This morning was surprising peaceful." she responds happily. Trochanter smiled back, "Well, I'm happy to hear that. Life's too short to not enjoy as much of it as you can." "True, to a degree, but I'd like to point out two details." Ms. Harshwinney looked Trochanter with a raised eyebrow, "First, you're a changeling. Changeling age much slower than ponies. You're almost twice as old as me but you look younger. Second, I think there's a bit more to life that just enjoying it." The changeling rolled his eyes, "You would say that wouldn't you. In rebuttal, I'd like to say, that even growing to be a few hundred years old doesn't mean I'll get to do everything I want to do. I could get run over by a train or something one day for all we know. Also, I don't mean enjoying the good things in life. You gotta enjoy the bad things too." "That doesn't make sense." "Well, we'll have to ask our guest about it when she shows up today. Speaking of which, todays guest is Ponyvilles very own fashionista, Rarity Belle, owner of the carousel boutique. Word has it that about a week ago she made a big deal with the Hoity Toity to make him a line of clothing." Stay tuned to hear what she has to say about that. Between them on the couch is Rarity Belle, top notch fashionista. Rarity was wearing light blue dress with green highlights and frills. It was small enough, not so over the top as to distract, but had a slight glitter from sequins accenting certain areas. She wore a small light blue sunhat with a white band wrapped around it. The hat, like her dress, was also simple, especially since the day had turned out to a scorcher. Trochanter begins, "Welcome back everyone to the Chatter Box. I'm your Trochanter, and this is my co-host Ms. Harshwhinney. Today we have Rarity Belle, a well known fashionista who resides in Ponyville." He turns to Rarity, "Miss Belle, would you mind telling us how found your desire for fashion and perhaps even tell us how you got your cutie mark. I have to say, since the first time I saw you in the newspapers I've been very curious." Rarity removed her hat from her head and placed it next to her on the couch while she spoke, "Well, darling. My beginnings were actually quite humble, when I just a filly, I found I had a magical calling to gems and rubies. I was able to since them with my magic quite a bit better than my peers, especially at such a young age. Though I have attribute some of the credit to Rainbow Dash. After all, if she hadn't accidently broken the stone I found and shown me what I had done...Oh, I doubt I would be standing here before you right now." Trochanter was sitting forward, practically vibrating, "Wow, that's incredible. I must admit, that's one thing that I wish us changelings had. A Cutie Mark story. To this day, I've not heard a boring Cutie Mark story." Rarity and Ms. Harshwhinney both chuckled before the latter spoke. "Trust me Chanter, you will one of these days." She then pulled her famed clipboard and spoke to Rarity, "Anyway, the first question from our viewers is this 'Do you have any plans for another boutique?'" Rarity smiled and replied, "Oh yes. I wish to open a new one Canterlot. T'would be such an amazing event for me. My dream has always been to make clothing for the elite." Trochanter chimed in, "But...what about your home in Ponyville. Would you be willing to pick up and leave?" "Oh, no, of course not, darling. I would commute between the stores every other month. I would have to find somepony to run the shops whenever I was not there. I do not plan on leaving my home by any means." Ms. Harshwhinney nodded, "The next question and last is 'What are your parents li--?'" She didn't get a chance to finish. "I would rather not answer that question please." Rarity said softly, yet sternly. It was obvious that the topic was touchy and was not to be discussed in public, so Trochanter once again saved the day. "Well, it was nice having here with us Miss Belle. We hope you make it to Canterlot and come see us once again." "I will try my best darling, in fact, I was wondering if perhaps I could take your measurements." She motioned dto Ms. Harshwhinney, "Both of yours in fact. I believe you two have inspired something in me." The changeling looked at Ms. Harshwhinney who looked like she was about to say something, but decided to simply smile and nod. Trochanter smiled back and nodded at the fashionista, "We'd love to Miss Belle." He then turned back to the camera, "With that being said, we'll see you in the next episode. Episode 1Intro Music The screen fades in. Good bye!" Episode 2Intro Music The screen fades in. Trochanter the changeling, today sporting a brand new, light blue, neck tie, sits in a blue armchair with a large smile on his face once more. "Good morning everyone and welcome to The Chatter Box. I am your host Trochanter, or Chanter if you want, and here beside me is my co-host, Ms Harshwhinney. I hope you're ready for today's episode. "Yes, that's right. Trochanter remains seated in his normal seat, hunched over his face in hooves. "Fillies and gentlecolts…!" Ms. "Well, I'm glad to hear that. I'd love to see that flank again sometime soon." Harshwhinney looked at Trochanter and raised a eyebrow. Trochanter looked at Ms. Harshwhinneyt in surprise, "We still have one last question. One for us this time." Trochanter tilted his head in confusion. Harshwhinney smiled deviously and pulled up her clipboard, "This question, technically two questions, reads, 'Calling Ms. Harshwhinny smart and sexy? Does Trochanter have a romantic interest in their co-host?'" After reading the letter, Harshwhinney sits back and crosses one back hoof over the other slowly, "Well, Mister Chanter? Do you?" Trochanter sputters a few times before answering, "Well... uh... you... you are um... quite... uh... quite pleasing to look at... I suppose." Seconds pass by before Ms. Harshwhinney turns to the camera with a soft smile. "Too easy." She says calmly before getting up and leaving, her smile having morphed into a scowl on her face. [Behind the Scenes(1)]I ran up to Ms. Harshwhinney as fast as possible without running. Mare's pretty damn fast.
Stay tuned to meet our guest: Zecora!" The screen fades out. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Intro Music The screen fades in, as it usually does, with a flicker, a click, and a strange little buzz. It's nice to tell my story to someone." trochanter smiled and then looked at the camera, "With that said, tune in for our little conclusion after the commercial." Zekora is no longer present. "Welcome back everyone." he turns to his co-host, "So, Ms. Harshwhinney, what are your thoughts?" "Honestly, I found it quite educational." She responds, "It also put a lot of things into perspective, such as: maybe Equestria isn't as open as we think it is." Trochanter shook his head in thought, "I disagree, but only for one reason. "Unfortunately, that's all the time we have today. Please tune in next time for The Chatter Box. Until then, keep chattering. Bye!" Outro The credits play and the screen fades out. Episode 4Intro Music The screen fades in. The screen fades out. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Intro Music The screen fades in like normal, showing Trochanter and Ms. Harshwhinney in their respective seats. Yes, I am sorry to say we are eliminating the third portion of this show and ending it just after the interview. Anyways, until next time, keep chattering! Bye!"
