The Pony Chronicles: We kill the Celestia

It was a quiet day in Equestria. The sky was a light blue and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. But it was a cyan pegasus who broke the silence. "Oh come on!" Exclaimed the cyan pegasus "Really!? Now!?" "Yes, Rainbow Dash, Now" Replied a lavender unicorn. "But, Twili--" Protested Rainbow Dash. "Don't try to protest. We're getting the others and we're putting a stop to this." Twilight Said as she used her magic to pick up Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash tried to fight the spell but to no
avail. The spell was too strong. Eventually she just gave in and said "Fine!" Twilght put her down and put a pack over her back. "Come on, Rainbow..." Twilight said "Lets go and find the others."

The others were fairly easy to find. They were all sat in sugarcube corner explaining to Pinkie about the plot that had been uncovered. "Wheres Rarity?" Asked Twilight as they walked in. "She's outta town. Somethin' to do with work." Explained Applejack. "So, have you got a plan for this?" Asked Pinkie Pie. "Yep." Answered Twilight pulling out a blueprint of the castle and putting on the table. "So..." Began Twilight.

"And you're sure this plan will work?" Questioned Pinkie. "Positive." Twilight said. "So d'ya know how we're gunna get into the castle?" Asked Aplejack. "Well luckily enough Princess Celestia asked me to be on the balcony with her." Explained Twilight. "And how will that help exactly?" Asked Rainbow Dash. "She said you guys can come as well." Twilight said simply. Fluttershy started to look scared. "B-b-b-but what if the assasin tries to..." She gulped "Kill us" Twilight suddenly realised that it was a possibility. How could she not have seen that? What was she going to do? She couldn't let her mentor down. Everyone was looking at her. Twilight had to lie. "He won't." Twilight lied. She hated to lie but she couldn't help it. "So we meet up outside the castle tonight, got it." Twilight said to steer it away from the lie. "Got it." The others repeated in unison.

The 5 mares stood outside the castle. Their mane's being blown about by the cold winter breeze. "Ready?" Asked Twilight. "Ready." Repeated the mares in unison. "Lets go." Twilight ordered. They ran across the marble floor towards the stairs and out onto the balcony. Rainbow Dash flew up onto a cloud to keep lookout. "Welcome, Fillies, Mares and gentlecolts!" Shouted Princess Celestia to the large crowd that had gathered under the balcony. "I have an important announcment to make!" The Princess continued. Twilight and the four other mares tensed. "To the citizens of canterlot, I am proud to announce that guards will be stationed at outposts around the city to prevent any unwanted visitors from getting in." Announced The Princess "To the citizens of Ponyville--" The Princess began before being cut off by a gasp from Twilight. Rainbow Dash hadn't noticed this but then... "RAINBOW!" Shouted Applejack. As Rainbow Dash turned round she noticed the flash of metal and the gasps as Princess Celestia slowly started to fall. "Princess!" Yelled Rainbow Dash flying towards the assasin at lightning speed. The assasin tried to slice the knife at Rainbow Dash but missed and was sent flying backwards and tumbling down the stairs. A few guards rushed down the stairs to detain Princess Celestia's would be killer. "Princess." Said Twilight rushing over to help Celestia. She was injured and had only just escaped with her life. "I don't think that's the last we'll see of him." Rainbow Dash said "He's bound to find a way out. Just to finish what he started." Twilight was just relieved Princess Celestia was alive. But she was worried as well. What Rainbow Dash said was sure to happen. Even if it isn't soon. They would just have to deal with it when it happened.
