The Walking Dead: A Ponies Tale
Princess Twilight Sparkle was running all over the library looking for a spell book to use to finish her device. She was making a device for long term travel for all races without the use of unicorn magic. Starlight and Spike were applying the last bits to the machine. Twilight soon found a strange colored book, one she has never seen before. It was dark purple with blue and green on the sides of it, and Twilight flies over to the two with it.
"I think its all ready to go Twilight!" Spike said while turning to look at her.
"All it needs now is the final spell." Starlight added looking uneasy as she spots the strange book Twilight had found.
"Perfect! Call our friends here I want them to see this." While Spike sends letters out Twilight begins to read though the book, called Portals. As she searched though it she noticed it was a combination of chaos, dark, pony, and other forms of magic and now Starlight was worried.
"Twilight...I don't think this is a good idea...we should find another book...." She tried to get it away from her but Twilight stopped it.
"Relax Starlight. I know what I'm doing. As long as I'm careful with applying the formula to the device in the right order..." Twilight's horn, however begun to glow without casting a spell as it shoots a multicolored beam at the device, causing it to glow.
"TWILIGHT!?" Spike and Starlight yelled as a flash went off on the three of them.
"It wasn't me it just happe..." Before the alicorn could finish her statement all three of them vanished in a flash of light, along with the device.
"Twilight, Sugercube you wanted to see us to show us something new?" Applejack said she walked in, but there was no sign of any-pony being there.
In a police car, Lee Everett was sitting the back seat of the van, handcuffed. He was convinced of a crime for killing a senator and didn't try to deny it. The officer in the front of the car who fixes the mirror and looks at Lee.
"So I reckon you didn't do it then?" The officer asked him.
"Excuse me?" Lee was confused by his statement looking out the window.
"What I mean is most people by now say 'I didn't do it.'"
"Every time?" Lee replied a bit more interested in it.
"EVERY time." The officer replied. "You know...I know a funny..." The man once more begun to talk but Lee tuned him out as he looks out the window, seeing several police cards and even a helicopter fly by. Soon, he turns back to see someone in the road.
"Watch out!" Lee yelled to the man, but it was too late. They hit the guy in the road and crash into a tree.
Meanwhile, a bright flash of white light appears in the forest as Twilight, Spike and Starlight go flying into a near by tree, Twilight's wings breaking in the process as they all groan. The machine was no where to be found however. Spike was the first to push himself up and ran over to Twilight.
"Twilight!?" Spike helps her to her feet as Twilight rubs her wings.
"I..I'm fine Spike..I think my wings are busted...where...are we?" Twilight looks around as Starlight got up and tried to cast a spell to no avail.
"Not the only problem we have either Princess...our magic is at least weakened if not working at all." The unicorn pointed out as they begin to walk around a bit. All they saw was trees around them.
"So...it seems we are in a forest...but..where is it? This feels different...." Twilight pointed as they stop as both Starlight and Twilight's ear twitch from a nearby sound.
"Girls...?" Spike asked with worry as he steps closer to Twilight, hiding behind her wings. Twilight and Starlight look around to see several walkers begin to approach them as they back away.
"Um...hello...there? Can you help us?" Twilight asked hoping they were friendly, but of course they didn't reply, only moaning to them. They begun to walk towards them as Twilight screams and fires a blast of magic at one knocking it down. It however gets back up like nothing happened.
Lee woke up in the police car looking around weakly, feeling some slight pain on his leg. He sees the officer is nowhere in sight so he begins to kick the window open to climb out into the fresh forest air. He pushes himself up crying out in pain from the wound on his leg, leaning on the car for support as he sees a trail of blood. He follows it to see the officer, laying what he thought was dead. He decided he needed to find the keys to his cuffs so he makes his way over to the officers corpse and digs around to find the keys. As he does so, he soon finds them and begins to hear groins.
"Uh..officer..?" Lee was confused as the officer came back to life and pounced on him. Lee kicks him off and backs away, finding the officers shotgun, grabbing it and shooting the walkers head off.
He throws the gun aside as he heard a scream from nearby. Thinking someone was in trouble, he got up and right as he did, more walkers begun to swarm him. He tried his best to run away from the walkers.
The girls and spike kept trying to fight off the walkers. Spike used his breathe to light a few on fire, already tired from it. Twilight and Starlight fired blasts a few as well, killing a couple of them but there was too many. They all begun to run, Twilight letting Spike ride on her back as more and more came out of the woods. As they ran, they soon found a fence and begun to climb over it. At the same time Lee stopped and saw a figure in the distance, following it to the same fence as he climbed over it as well.
As all four of them climbed over the fence, Starlight and Twilight had there horns aiming at Lee thinking he was another walker.
"What the hell are you..." Lee was in shock, staring at the ponies and dragon in front of him thinking he was going crazy now. Seeing him talk, Twilight lowered her guard a bit but Starlight didn't.
"Maybe your not the only one going crazy..." She said in reply to him and they bot just...stare at each other unsure what to think.
"Great...talking animals. Maybe I hit my head harder then I thought back there...." He said to himself as Lee rubs his head trying to ignore the three of them thinking they weren't even real. Twilight, confused herself, begun to think of what she could do in this situation. They all soon heard a sound as a small group of walkers come over. Using some quick thinking, Twilight finds a sharp branch and, using her telekinesis, uses it to impale the group of walking one after another, panting a bit as they all die.
Lee just blinks and rubs his eyes. "W..what...did i just see...." Lee was shocked as he looks at the alicorn backing away, tripping. Twilight was getting tired of this, so she walks over and looks at Lee in the eyes.
"Look...we are just as confused as you are. We have no idea where we are or what's going on, but we aren't a threat or related to those...things." Lee just gets up and grabs a weapon looking at them.
"What...are you. Aliens..part of the whatever it is going on...." He was hesitant to attack but watched them as Twilight explains what she thought was important.
"You can say we...aren't from around here. We are from a small...remote island located away from more life and we just now left home in order to um...help fix things you could say. We don't know what is going on as much as you do..." Of course, this was a complete lie but what would this strange man believe if she said the truth. For now she had to go with it.
Lee wasn't really buying it but went with it either way, but since they weren't attacking him he thought they were safe...for now anyway.
"So..you don't know either huh...well...suppose we should help each other for now. Even if I don't completely trust what you are yet, a lot of weird things have been happening today." He shrugs a bit turning to look at the house.
"Well...thanks for trusting us. Name's Princess Twilight Sparkle. This here is Spike, my number one assistant, and Starlight Glimmer, my student." She was hoping to make things a bit less tense between the four of them as Lee turns to look at them.
"Name's Lee. I don't trust you I just don't see the point in hurting such cute innocent creatures for now when we have way more problems." Which was true. The four of them had much bigger problems to worry about. They were in the backyard of some strangers house with creatures they had no idea what they were all around them. They had no food and water, and both Twilight and Lee were still injured from earlier. They decided to head onto the house.
