//-------------------------------------------------------// Watching The Class -by Evictus- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Observation //-------------------------------------------------------// Observation Scootaloo was walking to the ponyville dance center as she had been invited to observe the contemporary dance class there. Scootaloo had been looking forward to dance this style for years so when she told Pinkie Pie Pinkie Pie invited her to watch her class which Scootaloo agreed to do inmediatly. When she got inside Pinkie Pie was removing her sneakers and her socks and was dressed in a footless long sleeve leotard. "Im glad you could make it Scootaloo I hope you can make your decision on this class." Pinkie Pie said "Thats easier said than done, im afraid i wont be able to make up my mind even if ive been wanting dance for awhile." Scootaloo said, Pinkie waved the concern off. "You'll decide soon! Trust me you will have fun in this class." Pinkie Pie assured, Scootaloo sighed. "I sure hope so." Scootaloo said, after she said this a woman that Scootaloo recognizes walks into the class. "Hoofer Steps? I didnt know you taught contemporary, why aren't you at your old school?" Scootaloo said. "And your Scootaloo right? Im glad youve accepted our invite to watch just please be quite during most of the class, dont want distractions, I teach a variety of classes here, i moved a while back...how did you recognise me?" Hoofer Steps asked. "Me and my two friends Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle tried out several activities at one point to try to help people find their true talents, Apple Bloom came here to try out ballet and you taught that class that she tried out. She told me who you were." Scootaloo explained. "Ah yes Apple Bloom did come to my other class that was a few years ago if I remember, couls you please sit down?" Hoofer Steps asked. "Alright i will." Scootaloo said, Hoofer Steps gave her a chair to sit in and Scootaloo sat down to observe the class. The time went by fast and soon Scootaloo got a sign up sheet to join the class and walked out without saying goodbye, on her way home Scootaloo stopped by Twilight's castle and peeked in to see Twilight practicing for ballet class herself. Scootaloo watched her for a few seconds and then left feeling conflicted as she wondered if she should join a class. "Is it all really worth it? In the end all's I might succeed at will be making a fool of myself, even if i do join it wont lead to me becoming a good dancer." Scootaloo complained as she walked. Once she got home in Ponyville she looked at the sign up sheet once again and decided to go through with it. "Oh well! Whats the worse that could happen?" Scootaloo said to herself, she jotted down her information and her name and mailed it back. She thought about telling Rainbow Dash but decided that she might be to busy on a diplomatic mission for the princess as she did remember hearing her say she wanted to help Celestia out with something in Canterlot. Scootaloo then thought about telling Twilight but didnt want to disturb the princess as she was practicing. After a little bit more thought however Scootaloo decided to write a note for Twilight instead as she didnt want to interrupt Twilight since Twilight's practice was important to her. If Twilight didnt practice like she was supposed to she would screw up in class or just look dumb." Scootaloo headed out by heself to the castle, once got their she heard music emaniting from the castle and knew Twilight was probably still practicing so she slipped the note under the door and walked away hoping that the letter would be read by her. She didnt want Spike tampering with the letter as it could get damaged. She didnt need to hear Twilight's opinion on her interest but she did think it would be nice for Twilight to know even if it wasnt her business. Soon Twilight finished practicing and walked down the stairs still dressed in her leotard and sweaty from practice, she had just finished practicing for class and was worn out. Twilight went to the door and picked the letter up and examined it. "Who sent the letter this time? Your mom?" Spike asked, Twilight opened the letter and read the entire thing. "Its from Scootaloo. Shes thinking about doing contemporary dance." Twilight said, Spike was taken back by suprise. "I wasnt expecting her to get interested in contemporary dance. She seems to me to be more of a football player." Spike said, Twilight stared at him in disbelief. "I can tell you right now that Scootaloo doesnt want to do football, she doesnt seem to be the type to do something like that." Twilight said as she looked back at the letter. Spike shrugged. "Alright well im happy shes chosen dance lessons, she might get just as good as you." Spike teased. Twilight put the letter down and poked Spike playfully. "Quiet you." Twilight said with a huge smile on her face. She looked back at the letter and then she read it for a bit more and put it down. "Well i hope she does well, im rooting for her and Pinkie just as much as im rooting for you." Spike said, Twilight hugged Spike and Spike hugged her back and then they both broke away from the hug. "Thanks Spike." Twilight said, Twilight went to grab a book and Spike went to the bedroom. Scootaloo decided to buy a footless long sleeved leotard for her class and then returned back home, once she did she collapsed in bed and started to fall asleep, she had walked for a long time and was tired out, she let herself fall asleep as she looked forwards to class as she was very excited to start learning contemporary dance as she loved the idea of it and wabted to dance that style so bad. She hoped that she would do good in class
