Chef's dad goes to Ponyville
The sky was was scattered with clouds, and beams of light shone through the holes as if the heavens themselves had decided to grace the land with a sight so beautiful that no camera could ever hope to capture the pure, undeniable loveliness that Chef's dad was beholding.
Chef's dad loved his evening walks, he loved everything about them, whether it was staring at the sky or admiring the wildlife that surrounded him. He smiled as two chipmunks began to fight over the same acorn.
" What a beautiful day. Isn't it woman," Chef's dad asked his beloved wife.
" Yeth it ith," his wife replied.
Chef's dad took hold of his wife's shaky hand. He guided her to the nearby park bench and helped her sit down. He loved his wife and had stuck by her even when her eyesight, and then her health started to go. They had both accepted old age and knew that there were downsides. Achy joints, sore muscles, and a fading memory were definitely not great, but to Chef's parents they were merely signs of how well they'd lived in the past. From their early years when they were two dumb kids having the time of their lives, to when they settled down and raised what was in their opinion, one of the best damn children to grace god's green earth. After a while of sitting and holding hands, reminiscing about the past, they folded their hands and thanked god for such a radiant and wonderful day. They got up, Chef's dad supporting his wife, and walked home.
" Now if we can just get home without some crazy loch ness monster trying to take my damn tree fiddy from me today will have been perfect"l Chef's dad thought to himself.
Chef's dad was always telling some odd story about the loch ness monster trying to get his three dollars and fifty cents, but whether or not these stories were true was really anyone's guess.
By the time they got home it was dark out and both of them were exhausted. As soon as they opened the door they went up the stairs to their bedroom, got changed into their nightwear, Chef's mom into a black nightgown, and Chef's dad into some blue striped silk pajamas, turned out the light, got in bed and fell asleep in each others arms.
" Git outta mah house!"
Chef's dad was awakened by a loud racket downstairs. He yawned, stretched, and scratched his back, waited for his eyes to adjust to the light, and groggily walked down the steps. Only to see his wife yelling at some sort of blue vortex on the living room floor.
" Stop making such a fraccus woman!"
" There's some sort of swirling blue vortex."
" Well I can see that woman but why are you yellin at it?"
" I don't want it to stain the rug."
Chef's dad stared at his wife , eyes filled with incredulity.
" Dammit woman a blue vortex can't stain the rug!"
" I still want it outta my house."
" Well what do you expect me to do woman?"
" chase it out with the broom."
So Chef's dad went into the hallway and looked in the closet for a broom, and after finding one of suitable size he went back into the living room.
" Now begone portal get out my livin room!"
The vortex did absolutely nothing.
" Maybe if I give it tree fiddy it'll go away."
" Now don't go given the vortex no tree fiddy!"
Chef's dad poked the vortex with the broom. The broom was stuck and in the blink of an eye both Chef's dad and the broom were sucked into the vortex. Inside the vortex the broom hit Chef's dad on the head and knocked him unconscious.
When he woke up he found himself surrounded by mysterious machinery, all pointed at him. His eyes darted around the room until they fell upon a smiling purple unicorn wearing a labcoat and safety goggles.
The unicorn walked up to him took off her goggles and began to bounce around the room while happily shouting "itworkeditworked ohmy Celestia I can't believe it worked!"
Chef's dad didn't know where he was or what was going on but he didn't really care either. All he knew was he had to get back home to his wife.
"If I don't get back she might give that damn tree fiddy to that damn loch ness monster!" Chef's dad thought to himself.
" Look whoever you are-"
" Oh my Celestia where are my manners? I'm Twilight Sparkle,and you are?"
" I'm Chefs dad, but listen-"
" That's a weird name. Well what can I expect what with you being from another universe and all."
Chef's dad was shocked at how seamlessly those words seemed to flow from the little unicorn's mouth. He was from another dimension and she seemed to have planned his arrival. He considered dropping his initial response of simply wanting to go and make sure his wife didn't give no damn tree fiddy to that damn loch ness monster, but thought better of it.
" I need to make sure it doesnt happen. That woman just can't understand that the damn loch ness monster will never go away if she actually gives him the tree fiddy. That time she gave him a dollar makes me wonder why I married her in the first place.
" Listen here now Twilight Sparkle, I don't know how I got here-"
" Oh well you see I've been studying up on the multiverse theory, you know the one that states that there are an infinite number of universes and I wanted to test it but my magic wasn't strong enough to reach into other dimensions and so I built these amplify-"
" Quiet!" Chef's dad yelled. Twilight shrunk back.
" Oh I'm sorry twilight sparkle but my wife needs me to protect her from the loch ness monster so I need to get back to my universe."
" I understand," Twilight sighed," but the only way to get you back is for you to give me something."
" What do you need?"
Twilight looked him dead in the eye and said.
" I need about tree fiddy."
