Following her defeat by the Elements of Harmony, the Nightmare, separate from Luna, planned her revenge on Celestia. She created herself a body and returned to take over Equestria and plunge the world into eternal night once and for all. Of course, Celestia would stay in her way, that's why she is the first target.

The target did some calculations, and was prepared for Nightmare's arrival. She knew what she wanted, but also knew what she wanted even more... Something even Nightmare herself did not want to admit... A repressed thought, a weak spot that the solar princess would exploit when the time comes.
