Fallout Equestria: Making a Future
War… War never changes.
It’s hard to believe that everything that’s happened to me is real. I never thought I’d get dragged into this kind of thing. The truth I guess is that I never even expected to be out of my home Stable.
Yeah, I’m a Stable Dweller, I’m sure you’ve heard of stories of Stable Dwellers before but this is my story. I come from Stable 6, there’s not a lot you need to know about Stable 6 except that it has very strict breeding rules. Relationships are discouraged, and all breeding is done between couples that the Overmare chooses.
At least that’s what’s supposed to happen. Sometimes ponies ignore it, but they’re always punished. My best friend growing up wound up pregnant and I didn’t even know what happened to her.
I thought I never would find out, but I guess whatever Goddesses there are up there had something else in mind for me. And as a result, I got caught up in one of the worst things I ever could imagine.
After all, whenever there is a potential resource, there will be those who want to exploit it. And we had to fight back against those exploiters in order to protect our own and those still down below.
We had to go to war even though we weren’t entirely prepared. And that’s the thing now, isn’t it? In this kind of world, war is needed sometimes if we are to survive and prosper.
And war… war never changes.

I rolled over onto my side as I woke up that first morning in early summer. I groaned a little as I felt a familiar heat growing between my hind legs and it felt unbearable. I felt like my body was on fire and it was worse than any heat I had ever experienced before.
I knew there was no way the Overmare was going to let me quench it either. She had already posted the names for the ponies who would be allowed to mate this year, and I wasn’t on the list. I was never on the list for some reason actually, the Overmare thought she I too young or something.
But that just made it worse because of the heat radiating from my marehood. I checked the time on my PipBuck, I still had time to try and relieve the heat herself. I slid off the sheets and my horn glowed light blue as I levitated a dildo over to me and rubbed it lightly against my marehood.
I shivered a little as my magic made it vibrate a bit as I pressed it in closer and let out a light whinny. I never got tired of the feeling of my magic moving with the fake shaft as I rubbed it against me harder. It wasn’t going to be enough to completely alleviate the heat but it would help at least.
I arched my back a little as I finally pushed the dildo into me. The vibrations ran through my body as I started moving it in and out of my marehood. I was alone in a Stable of 500 ponies. I was always going to be alone no matter how much I wanted otherwise, especially at the rate the Overmare was going. I didn’t understand why she didn’t pick me, I had been of age for several years and I was still having to use toys and hooves.
I sighed a little as I slowly slid the toy out of my marehood and licked the juices off it. The PA system of the Stables as I put on my Stable Barding and PipBuck. I looked in the mirror and a young mare with white fur and a grey mane looked back at me with freckles. White Gold my mother had called me, lots of ponies found me cute but I thought I was rather plain.
What was the problem? Was I just not good enough?
“Greetings my little ponies,” the voice of Overmare Cranberry said over the PA system. “As per regulations, all mares who were not selected for breeding this year are to take the usual Pheromone Suppression Serum in order to avoid the temptation of unapproved breeding. Those who are on the approval list are exempt from daily duties until after mating is carried out for the day. These are necessary to keep the Stable safe, and I trust you all will keep to the rules of course. Any issues with the breeding list are of course free to be brought to my office.”
“Yeah, as if she would actually care what I say,” I said with a shake of my head as I made sure that everything was secured. I sighed a little as I picked up the injection for the serum. It would only suppress the pheromones so the stallions in the Stable wouldn’t be tempted to mate with me.
Not that it would suppress the urges or make me any less fertile. I just had to avoid actually giving into those urges, as hard as that was going to be.
“Good luck, and have a good day my little ponies,” Cranberry said. “We are after all the future of Equestria, and we must do what we can to make this future a good one.”
I sighed a little as I finally made sure that everything was secured, injected myself with the serum, and walked out of my quarters. It was time to get to work.

“White Gold, we need a maintenance pony in the school,” my boss in Stable maintenance said. I sighed a little as I got my tools together, the school that figured. It was a day that classes had been canceled, so I had to wonder what Nightshade wanted.
“Any word on what he needs?” I asked curiously.
“I think his terminal is malfunctioning or something,” the boss said with a shrug. “He requested you personally, does he have a crush on you or something?”
“Heh, probably not, I’ve just worked on his stuff before,” I said as I tried not to blush at the idea of the handsome stallion having a crush on me. “I’ll go see what he wants, I’ll see you later.”
I walked out of the maintenance area and headed up towards the School. I walked past one of my friends’ room and for a moment I could’ve sworn I heard a moan coming from inside. She had been lucky enough to make it on the list probably getting mounted and filled right now.
I shook my head as the heat rose in my loins again. This was going to be a long day, maybe I should try and see if there was some way to at least get a few days off while I was in heat, but now wasn’t the time.
I opened the door to the school which was mostly empty. The only pony inside was a black stallion with a dark purple mane who looked like he was trying to figure something out on his terminal. He looked up and smiled at me when I entered with my tools.
“Hey White Gold, sorry for calling you in like this,” he said as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly for a moment. “I’ve never been very good with this equipment, would you mind…”
“Of course,” I said with a soft smile as I took out my tools for repairing a terminal and undid the back as I started to work. My flanks unconsciously swayed a little as I worked, I wondered if Nightshade was watching as I swished my tail a little. The idea of him mounting me and sliding his large shaft into...
No! I couldn’t think about that right now! I had a job to do and I wasn’t on the list, no matter how much I wanted to be mated right now by this stud and the very idea made me wet. Goddesses, why did we have to go through this every year?
I shook my head and got back to work, It was so hard to focus on my work but I had done this so many times it was like second nature to me. I finished the last bit of repairs and closed it up before I looked back at Nightshade and blushed a little when I realized he was staring at me, with a notable bulge in his barding.
“Uh… I’m done,” I said with a blush as I slowly turned around, letting my tail go limp as I looked at his bulge for a moment. “It should work now.”
“Yeah, thanks…” Nightshade said as he lowered his head out of embarrassment for a moment, his black fur was turning red.
“Unless there’s something else, I’m…” I started to say before he cut me off.
“White Gold, listen… I was wondering if…” Nightshade said. “If you wanted to maybe…”
“Yes?” I asked.
“Well… I mean, you’re a pretty cute mare, and… umm…” Nightshade said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head a little. “I’ve always, kind of thought you were cute and wanted to… you know…”
“Mate with me?” I asked as I looked at him surprised. “You, really always wanted that?”
“Yeah, uh…” Nightshade said with a deeper blush. “I’ve thought about it for a while, and I don’t care about what the Overmare says. I want you, badly, but I understand if you don’t feel the same.”
I blinked, I had no idea what to say to that, to be honest. It was everything I could’ve asked for but was I actually ready to take this step? If I got pregnant then I would get found out, and no doubt the Overmare would do the same thing to me she did to every other mare.
But then again, the fire in my loins was getting worse and worse. I wanted to carry his foal more than anything right now. I suppressed a moan as I felt my body getting more and more aroused at the idea of being mounted.
“Ohh… yes…” I finally said as I looked at him and blushed a little. “I want you to take me, let’s do this.”
“Come on, let’s go to my quarters,” Nightshade said as he gave me a smile as we headed out of the schoolroom together. We went past a few ponies who didn’t even give us a second look as we headed to his quarters.
Their quarters were pretty ordinary. He leads me into his bedroom and I smiled a little as I used my magic to slowly slide off my barding as I raised my tail a little to expose my marehood as I leaned on the bed.
“Do you like what you see?” I asked as I looked back towards him as I swished my tail a little.
“Oh yes, very much,” Nightshade said as he removed his own Stable barding. I smiled a little when I saw his massive shaft now sticking out of his sheath. His pre-cum leaked out of the tip as he moved in closer. “Mmmm… are you sure you’re ready for this?”
“Yesss… I’ve been ready for this for forever…” I said as I pushed my tail completely to the side. “I want you so badly, take me like the stud you are.”
Nightshade didn’t need any further prompting as I felt his weight on my back as he mounted me. I could feel the flared tip of his shaft pressed up against my marehood. He hesitated for just a moment before he thrust his shaft into me and I let out a loud whinny.
Goddesses, this felt better than anything I had ever imagined. His stallionhood thrust in and out of my folds, moving faster and deeper with each thrust. Jolts of electricity ran up and down my spine with each thrust as my tight marehood was penetrated by a stallion for the first time.
I started to move with his thrusts as I felt him filling me more and more with his massive shaft. “That was really good,” Nightshade said with a slight blush as he leaned over and kissed me. I sighed a little when I heard something going off on my PipBuck, that was the alert that somepony needed me back in maintenance. “I guess they want me back.”
“Yeah…” Nightshade said as he gave me a slight nod. “I want to see you again.”
“After work, I promise,” I said as I slid my barding back on, giving him a brief view of my marehood before I gave him another kiss on the lips. “I want to do this as often as we can.”
“Alright, I’ll see you then,” Nightshade said as I walked out of the room, wiggling my flanks a little at him.
I shook my head before I left the quarters, I had to try not to show any signs of this while I was out. I had broken the rules of the Stable, and I didn’t want to get in trouble for it so I quickly headed out, hoping no one noticed the difference.

“White Gold, I’m sure you know why I called you here,” Overmare Cranberry, a Unicorn mare with reddish fur said as she looked at me with. It was a couple of months later and I had just been to the Doctor a few days ago who confirmed that I was pregnant.
I wasn’t that surprised really, me and Nightshade had mated every day I had been in heat. The odds had been I was pregnant, I just was hoping that I could figure out what to do when I got the call.
“Yes, I’m aware,” I said as I tried not to look nervous. “I’m guessing this is about my trip to the clinic.”
“Yes, you know the rules of the Stable, you’re not allowed to be pregnant without authorization,” the Overmare said and adjusted her glasses a little. “What do you have to say for yourself?”
“I couldn’t help myself, I was just so consumed by the heat I couldn’t resist!” I protested. “Your list is terrible if it excludes mares like…”
“I’ve heard it all before, so don’t bother,” Cranberry said as she raised a hoof. “But I am going to tell you the same thing I told all of them. Congratulations.”
“But I still think that it’s not fair that… wait, did you just say congratulations?” I asked and blinked in surprise.
“Yes, I did,” Cranberry said with a chuckle. “You’re about to learn the truth of Stable 6. The intention is to actually get mares to break the rules and have foals without approval, but since the ponies are unaware of the rules, you have to appear to be punished.”
“Wait, what kind of punishment?” I asked confused. “What’s going on? You’re going to send me out of the Stable right?”
“Yes, but it’s more than just that,” Cranberry said with a soft smile. “Every mare that has left the Stable lives just above in a town that we have built. You and your foals will be helping rebuild Equestria just like everypony else up there. I know it sounds odd and it’s not what you expected, but this is how we’ve always done things.”
“And what if I refuse? This is my home, Nightshade is in here, there are so many things for me in here that I don’t want to give up!” I said.
“I know it’s hard for you,” Cranberry said with a sigh. “It’s always hard on mares, but you cannot stay in this Stable. The other ponies will know you weren’t on the list and will demand answers, or worse reproduce en mass. Stable 6 is not ready for a mass exodus on that level.”
“So, you need me to leave for the good of the Stable,” I said with a shake of my head.
“Don’t worry, there are still mares on top who can help you,” Cranberry said with a soft smile. “Including Hazelnut, you remember her I’m sure.”
“Hazel’s up there? She’s still alive?” I asked in surprise, Hazelnut had been my best friend growing up and had vanished from the Stable 3 years back after she got pregnant.
“Of course she’s still alive,” Cranberry said with a smile. “She’s actually helping with the farm they’ve set up there. I think you will be very welcome up there. Don’t you agree? Wouldn’t you like to see Hazel again?”
“I, guess I would…” I said as I rubbed the back of my head a little. “I just, I didn’t think you’d do this. I thought you’d have something worse in store for us or something.”
“Well, you are essentially being exiled, thankfully we’ve accounted for this possibility,” Cranberry said. “Your role on the outside will be to keep the Stable safe and help maintain the town we have built. I know it is not an easy task, and you have to survive the worst the Wasteland can throw at you. But I’m sure that you are going to be okay.”
“I hope so,” I said with a sigh. “I still have no idea what to think about all of this. How long before I have to leave?”
“Technically you have to leave before you start showing, but I think you should leave as soon as possible,” Cranberry said with a nod. “It’s better that way, I would recommend you leave as soon as possible.”
“I’ll, figure it out,” I said with a sigh as I gave her a small nod. “Thank you for not just killing me or something.”
“Of course not, that would be a waste,” the Overmare said with a chuckle. “Just let me know when you’re ready to go and we’ll get everything arranged.”
I nodded a little as I took a deep breath and headed out of the office. I didn’t like having to leave the Stable behind, but everypony would be better off thinking I was gone. Maybe that would change someday, but for now, I just had to focus on getting ready to leave.
I hoped I really would be ready.

“Are you sure you have to go?” Nightshade asked as we stood in front of the door to Stable 6. I was wearing my Stable Barding with saddlebags over them filled with the last of my things. “I mean, they’re not having me leave too…”
“I guess it’s a mare thing,” I said with a sigh as I lowered my head a little. Everything that belonged to me had been taken out of my quarters and moved up onto the surface, this was going to be my first time outside of the Stable, and probably the last time I ever saw anypony here, well unless they got pregnant too. “I, honestly am afraid, I don’t know what’s out there or what to expect other than a town.”
“You’re going to be just fine,” Nightshade said as he placed his hoof on my shoulder. “Take care of our foal, okay? If I never see you again, that’s the most I can ask of you.”
“I will,” I said with a soft sigh. “But I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.”
“You’re lucky if you ask me,” Nightshade said with a chuckle. “Out there you’re free to be with anypony you want, I’m probably gonna be on the list again at some point. Don’t worry about me, just worry about the foal, and maybe find somepony to share your life with, even if it’s not me.”
“I’ll, see what I can do,” I said with a sigh as Cranberry walked up to us.
“Are you ready to go?” She asked.
“Honestly? I don’t know, but I have to,” I said with a sigh and gave her a nod. “I wish I could stay.”
“You won’t be far, maybe someday,” Cranberry said with a shake of her head and opened the door. “Good luck White Gold.”
I nodded and trotted forward and through the door. I took one last look behind me at the Stable and sighed as the door closed. I was alone underground, and now it was time to get out there and find this town.
