Over two-centuries after the rise and fall of Nightmare Moon and the disappearance of Queen Celestia, their story has become myth, leading to the founding of the Solar Church, a widespread and popular organization, spreading the word of the light and warmth of the god-queen, and the Cult of the Moon, a secular and clannish group of ponies, mostly thestrals, dedicated to the name and lineage of the Night Mare herself.

In the far north, past the mountains of Yakyakistan, lie the Hebridles Islands, homelands of the Coltic warriors, a hardy and vigourous tribe of earth ponies who’ve lived there since before the founding of Equestria. Great seafarers and warriors, they and the Yaks to the south often spar for coastal dominance.

In the south, the warlike hippogriffs have crossed the channel and conquered the Basalt Coast, leading to a brutal war between Mount Aris and the feline nation of Abyssinia.

It is there that our story begins. . . .

Still working on the first Arc, so it will not update to a strict schedule, but I’ll be aiming to try and get a chapter out every week or two. No promises, though! Y’all know me. I’ll be writing this a chapter at a time, but I won’t publish a chapter until I’ve got the next one finished, OR if I think the next one is gonna take a while, so I can try and keep ahead of things. Hopefully, this does well.
