After spending the night in the Chaos Dimension, Bon Bon finds herself unable to return home- as Cozy Glow executes her diabolical plan to drain all of the magic from Equestria which prevents Discord from being able to cross back over the dimensional barrier. Unwilling to sit around and leave their friends in jeopardy the duo set out on a quest to a parallel world to get to the bottom of the case of the disappearing magic but soon find themselves trapped and in the middle of the other world's affairs. Only by rediscovering themselves can they hope to save the day and get back home.
