Bolt is your average stallion. He works hard, and gives every project his all. The problem is, Bolt never has time for friends, often locking himself in his room with his building projects. After the birth of his brother, Rivet, Bolt appears to begins to show signs of being sociable, but his parents are afraid both brothers will not flourish in the big city of Fillydelphia. Making a hard decision, they send the duo to the little town of Ponyville, where they can make friends and groom Bolt to take over his dad's failing business. But Bolt wants to be more than just a simple carpenter like his dad. He wants to be known as a great inventor, and he's going to need all the help he can get if he wants his dream to come true.
