The pegasus paused in mid-motion, the apple tantalizingly close. Just a bit more and she’d take a bite out of that delicious fruit...
“Rainbow!”
Rainbow sighed, glaring at the orange earth pony below her. With the number of apples that the family harvested, sparing a single one shouldn’t have been an issue.
Even if it was one of those apples.
“What?” She grumbled, the apple still balanced on her hoof. “I’m hungry!”
“You can’t eat those!” The mare below her replied, matching Rainbow’s glare with one of her own.
“And why not?”
“Y’just can’t!”
Rainbow’s frown deepened. She hadn’t known Applejack to be a greedy pony, but... “Look, I’ll give you money for it later!”
Applejack’s glare became fiercer, her eyes betraying what looked like a touch of anger. “It ain’t about money!”
“It’s not?” The now thoroughly confused Rainbow repeated. “What the hay is this about then?” She asked, lifting the rainbow patterned apple high.
Applejack rolled her eyes at her friend. It didn’t look like she was about to be dissuaded. “Granny taught us never to eat any of those apples-.”
“Okay, now you’re just pulling my leg! What’s with all the jam?”
“-raw, Rainbow. Y’can’t eat them raw.”
Blinking in continued confusion, Rainbow’s eyes flicked between the apple in her hooves and the farmpony below her.
“...Why not?”
“Eh?”
“Why can’t you eat them Raw?” Rainbow asked. After all, nothing with awesome coloring that matched her own could be bad.
Applejack lifted a hoof, and looked away before responding. “Because!” Rainbow’s eyes narrowed at the evasive response.
“You don’t know why, don’t you?” She asked, her lips forming into a smirk.
Applejack’s glare turned itself once more on Rainbow. “She told me not to, and that’s that! Unlike someponies, I listened to my elders!”
Rainbow shrugged the verbal jab away, her smirk ever wider. No, she knew the real reason... “Yeah, right. You’re just scared.”
“Sca-” Applejack sputtered in complete disbelief. “Like hay I am!”
Rainbow’s smile grew ever wider. “I never thought I’d see the day! Applejack scared of an apple!” As a dash of inspiration hit her, she dramatically lifted a hoof to her forehead. “Sweet Apple Acres is doomed!” Damn. Rarity would be proud.
Rainbow was so busy mentally patting herself on the back, she didn’t notice the lasso coming up at her until it was too late. The next thing she knew, she found her face in the dirt, groaning at the stetson wearing pony that stood above her.
“I ain’t scared! And I’m gonna prove it!”
“...How?” Rainbow asked as she got back on her hooves and untied the rope around her. She then watched Applejack turn away, bend down, and once more face the pegasus.
“L’ke this!” Applejack replied, the Zap Apple in her mouth muffling her words. Then, with one almighty bite, she tore off a large chunk of the chromatic fruit. She chewed vigorously, and swallowed.
The pair stared at each other, waiting for something to happen. And waited.
“...So how does it taste?”
Applejack’s brows furrowed in thought.“...Just like every other apple, actually.”
Rainbow snorted. “That’s boring! What was the fuss about?”
“I don’t-”
POOF!
“--know--What in tarnation!”
Rainbow blinked, then blinked again as she stared at the sight before her. One moment, Applejack was there, eating an apple. The next moment, a blinding, multicolored flash of light seem to surround her, vanishing as quick as it came.
The moment after that?
Rainbow wasn’t quite sure what she was looking at. It was Applejack, but... bigger. Taller. Bulkier. Squarer. And the voice had changed too. It was deeper, throatier.
Applejack was a colt.
In fact, she... He. He was a stallion.
Rainbow couldn’t lift her hooves to her muzzle fast enough, a snort of laughter escaping before she could block it. With the floodgates open, the laughter poured out, dragging Rainbow back to the soft earth as she rolled around, howling with mirth.
“...I guess that answers that question.” Applejack said, glaring as the pegasus’ laughter redoubled. “Quit it, Dash!” Mercifully, Rainbow seemed to listen, as her laughter died down to quiet yet continuous giggles.
“Aheh. Ehehe. Sorry.” She grinned at Applejack, her eyes roaming over the stallion’s body. He was big. Admittedly not the same size as Big Macintosh, or that big white pegasus. But still, Applejack was... bulky. She could see the muscles rippling under his coat. Briefly taking flight, she landed on Applejack’s back, then proceeded to poke and prod his barrel..
“Dash, what’re you doin’?” Applejack asked, only moving his head to track the mare as she moved about on him.
“Just checking you out!” Rainbow replied, before realising just what she’d said. “Err... checking the changes, I mean.”
Applejack grinned at Dash, not missing a beat. “Oh? Like what you see?”
Rainbow stared at Applejack’s grin, and his eyes, feeling the heat spreading across her cheeks. Why am I blushing? She thought, before turning her eyes away. “H-ha!” She said, jumping off before throwing him a fierce smile of her own. “You might look different, but I bet you still can’t beat me!”
Rainbow marvelled as the stallion let out a loud guffaw. It still sounded like Applejack, just... so much stronger. It was very weird. She snapped out of her reverie as he threw her challenge back at her. “Oh yeah? Race you to the barn.” His ears flicked as the telltale thump of Big Macintosh bucking made itself heard in the distance. “Next 5 bucks and we go.” He told Rainbow, flicking his head towards the noise.
“You’re on!”
The pair stood at the imaginary starting line, their sights set on the barn in the distance.
Thud.
Rainbow pawed at the ground, eager to set off.
Thud.
From the corner of her eye, she watched Applejack let out a small snort as he focused on their goal.
Thud.
Thud.
Her brain was buzzing with anticipation. Waiting for that last buck... the last...
Thud.
She blasted ahead, her hooves pounding the ground as she sped towards the barn. She put her strength into an early lead, eager to make the stallion eat her dust. She grinned widely, sure of her victory.
Then, something orange creeped into her field of vision. Slowly, Applejack caught up to her, matching her pace with seeming ease. The pegasus scowled, dipping into her reserves as she accelerated, attempting to leave the stallion behind. But she couldn’t. He matched her pace, much the same as he normally did as a mare.
They reached the barn, tearing past the open door, neck and neck. Rainbow screeched to a halt, gasping for breath as she wheeled towards her companion. Her claim of a win she wasn’t even sure about died on her lips as she took a closer look at him.
He was panting, looking winded.
She was gasping for breath.
No way.
“...You held back.” She accused, staring at the stallion. He froze, his eyes flicking left and right as he scrunched his muzzle.
“Nope! I put everythin’ in that!”
“Don’t lie!” Rainbow growled. “You suck at it.” She glared at the stallion again, who had the decency to look sheepish. “Why?”
“Didn’t want to make ya feel bad by beating ya too easy.”
“Don’t you dare hold back on me!” Rainbow yelled, before launching herself at Applejack.
The tackle sent them into one of the many piles of hay strewn around the barn, as Rainbow tried to pin the larger pony down. The stallion struggled weakly, making a token effort of resistance. And Rainbow could tell. “I said don’t hold back!” She spat, biting on an ear.
That got the reaction she wanted, as Applejack yelled in pain. He then spun around, almost casually brushing Rainbow’s hooves aside, and pinned her down. Gasping for breath, she found herself on her back, staring up at Applejack’s face as he stood above her, a single foreleg enough to hold her down.
Each breath she took filled her nose with his scent. The smell of the earth, of trees, with a vague hint of apples. He smelled just like Applejack always did, but... different all the same. A more musky tang of masculine sweat was there, and it sent her mind spinning.
“...You smell good.” She mumbled, her struggles having died down, and were now only half hearted.
A faint blush lit up Applejack’s cheeks, as he bent down slowly. His muzzle buried itself in Rainbow’s mane, taking a deep breath. He held the position for a moment, then moved his head away until their muzzles were a nose length apart. “You too...” He whispered, staring into Rainbow’s eyes. “Dash... what are we doing?”
“No idea...” Rainbow said, her head inching forward. “And I don’t care...”
As if they felt the same silent signal, the pair closed the distance, pressing their muzzles together. It felt... great. It wasn’t rough, nor was it a battle. Their usual competitiveness was absent, replaced by a warm buzz that she felt in her entire body, from her hooves to her wingtips. She opened her mouth, her tongue flicking Applejack’s lips until he opened his own. They explored each others mouths eagerly, almost desperate to discover everything they could.
They stopped as Rainbow felt something brush against her thigh, something thick and warm. Applejack hadn’t moved his body. At least... not intentionally. She snorted as she realised what it was. “Is that an apple between your legs, or you just happy to see me?”
Applejack chuckled, grateful that the tension had dropped substantially. “Feels more like a banana t’me.”
Rainbow’s eyes widened in mock amazement. “You eat... bananas? You eat other fruit?”
“Apples are the best fruit.” Applejack retorted, smirking. “Not the only fruit!”He said, jumping slightly as he felt Rainbow move her leg to brush against his hardening member. His eyes betrayed the surprise he felt, mixed with an eager anticipation.
Rainbow grinned, licking the tip of Applejack’s muzzle. “I think a banana sounds great right now...” she whispered, and relaxed into the hay.
She watched as Applejack bent down to kiss her again, his eyes swimming with barely controlled lust—an expression surely mirrored in her own. He shifted his hips, aiming towards Rainbow’s feverishly hot entrance and pressed the end of his shaft against her lips. She whined quietly as he stopped moving, her eyes pleading, asking why he stopped.
Applejack stared down quietly at the mare, concern warring with the lust filling his entire body. “Are you sure, Dash?”
Rainbow smiled through the haze of desire. Even now, Applejack was Applejack. The best, most dependable pony. But that didn’t matter right now. She wrapped her forelegs around his neck, feeling the bunched muscles there. “Yes. Now shut up and let’s do thi—” The words died in her throat as she felt him press into her, his cock prying her wide in ways she hadn’t thought possible. Coherency was forgotten as he pressed deeper into her, inching ever deeper with agonizing slowness.
Eventually, Applejack bottomed out, his shaft prodding against Rainbow’s womb. She tried to say something, anything, but couldn’t do much more than a tiny, completely uncharacteristic squeak. She shuddered at the sensations coursing through her body, unaware at how these fed back to Applejack through the flesh that joined the pair. Her forelegs gripped tighter as she unconsciously lifted her hips, attempting to get even the slightest bit more of Applejack into her.
And then, he moved.
She abandoned any attempts to think as she felt his searing heat partially drag out of her pussy, leaving her feeling bizarrely empty before he shoved into her, rougher than before. Her head throbbed with the beat of her heart as Applejack pounded into her body, pushing them ever closer to a mind shattering climax. She lifted her head up, burying her muzzle into Applejack’s neck, his scent utterly overwhelming, and shuddered as she felt the orgasm explode from her loins. She latched onto the first thing she found, her jaws biting onto Applejack’s neck as wave after wave of pleasure tore through her.
The stallion grunted in pain, the pace increasing for a few moments as the combined sensations of Rainbow’s clenching pussy and lovebite drove him over the edge, painting Rainbow’s womb with what felt like all the fluids in his body. His hips kept thrusting, completly out of his control, as he continued shoving himself deep into the mare under him, his cock swelling as it delivered its load. It felt like there was room for nothing else, only her walls and his flesh, sending his seed spilling out of her as it found the only path it could. Applejack gave a few more thrusts, dragging both of their orgasms out for those few more precious seconds, before finally slowing down and collapsing onto the exhausted mare.
They lay together, their breaths slowly easing into a more relaxed rhythm, enjoying each other’s simple presence as much as the lovemaking. Rainbow nuzzled Applejack’s cheek, grinning at the pleasant aches in her body.
“I think I like bananas...” She mumbled, grinning as the stallion shook with laughter.
Applejack lifted his head, peering down at Rainbow with a smile of his own. “I dunno... I’m liking these Zap Apples.”
They both lapsed into another comfortable silence, slowly drifting off towards sleep. But as always, Rainbow had to have the last word.
“... Zap Bananas?”
