Author's Note

Authors notes: Hey Dudes. First, take on an only chapter 3rd Person story. Only less than 1.5k words as I go back to normal first person after this.

A brief summary of Skye (My OC). Skye is an Orphan (That what he think he is) pegasi colt that is trying to escape from some guards from the Crystal Empire due to a Dobbleganger making trouble on the west side of Equestria.

Elements of "You Heard Us, No Cutie Marks For Us!" will make an adaptation to this story. (Still, need to rework on it. Better thanks to Grammarly).

This is my first shot of a story without the help of my ProofReader Sunny. But I will have her back on my long story that I plan to go on for more than 10 chapters.

The Only Chapter: The new colt.

Deciding if it was the right choice, I left a trap for the guards that were trying to chase me. One fell for it, and the other...well we don't really need to talk about the other guard now do we?

"Now that was close," I said to myself as I looked back at the trail I was going. "Stupid guards though they can get me. Only if they knew who I really am."

I sighed as I begin to fly high above the trees, and to my next destination. Ponyville. I looked back once again just to make sure nopony was following me. Guard, Changeling, and Griffon can be losing track of me in a flash. Without looking, I entered the Ponyville airspace.

What in the- Should've looked before I got here. Weather Ponies all arou- I immediately fly down to the ground fast, as I see Rainbow Dash, the fastest Pony, and Pegasi in Equestria. Slowly I trot pass the Ponyville airspace and enter the Ponyville ground space. The location of where Ponyville is.

"Close...too close," Checking both left and right and up and down, I entered a dark alleyway between two hay houses. "They can't find me here!"

I lowered my head into a nearby bucket of water so my Mane has a different kind of appearance. Just so nopony can recognize me from. Nopony can really notice me, right? It's the right choice though.

"It's early in the morning...What about tomorrow I'll enroll in the Ponyville SchoolHouse, just so it'll make it harder for those guards to find me," I chuckled to myself but was serious. "I need new friends after all."

While staying in the dark alleyways of Ponyville, I grabbed a few old boxes to make a small humble box house.

Think Skye. How do I make a good first impression on a group of colts and fillies in the SchoolHouse? I stood there thinking for a straight 3 hours. Suddenly, I heard a group of fillies trot pass the alleyway.

Looking back at the box house, I slowly trot out to the bright and cheerful town of Ponyville. With a curious though, I looked at the direction where the fillies are going. Three fillies with no Cutie Marks that look cheerful and happy. They seem to talk to every colt and filly in Ponyville. I trot back to the dark alleyway, but before I did, I listen to the small conversation they had.

"I haven't had time to talk to Button Mash yet," A white unicorn filly said in a worried tone. "He's still refusing to have us help him get his Cutie Mark."

"I saw him hang out with Rumble and Shady Daze earlier," A orange pegasi filly responded. "He probably won't listen to us anytime soon..."

"Why are you two talkin' about them? We got bigger problems!" said a yellow filly as she looked at a poster. "We should probably be making our way back to the Treehouse..."

"Ooooh, right. Some colt is wanted for some terrible crime," said the Orange filly. "Hope he isn't part of the-"

I couldn't hear them anymore. Their voices vanished but in reality, they went off to their Treehouse thingy-a-jig. Sighing, I returned back to the box house and layed down on the cardboard floor. It was one heck of a morning and afternoon though. But the next morning will be the craziest yet. The first day of school.

It's close to dawn. But I woke up early as I grabbed my dusty saddlebag, and headed straight towards the schoolhouse before anypony but the Main teacher could be there. Really, not everypony was outside yet. Just a few stallions going to work in the dark, that's all.

"Hopefully it's close...the map that is all over the place said it's on a small hill. I think," I stopped in front of the SchoolHouse. The lights were barely on, most likely the teacher was there a few minutes before I came. "Here goes nothing! Please don't recognize me, I don't want to go to jail."

I trotted up the hill, then knocked on the SchoolHouse door, waiting for a response from the teacher. Hearing hoofsteps from the other side, my heart skipped a beat. I was never this nervous before, but it is my first time talking to an adult since being kicked out of a town not far from Ponyville. Suddenly the door opened, and out comes a Mare that looks like she's in her early adulthood.

"Oh? Hello there. A new student?" The mare tilted her head. "...Right, I'm the head teacher of the schoolhouse here. Everypony here calls me Ms. Cheerilee!"

"I-I'm Skye, my parents couldn't be here with me to introduce me to here," I lied. I was too nervous to even tell the truth that I was an orphan. "Nice to meet you Ms. Cheerilee."

"Now, the school doesn't start till' one hour. You can come and stay and look around if you like. I'll introduce the students to you once class starts." said Ms. Cheerilee in a calm voice.

"I will. I'll look around, too get used to here." I trotted in the schoolhouse, then looked at the available seats. Near the middle could be good. I can make new friends both fillies and colts there

Thirty minutes in and I could already see a bunch of students lining up to get in the Schoolhouse. They are all almost like me. To mares, unicorns, pegasi, and stallions. I could hear my heart beating fast. I was too nervous, thinking I was going to pass out on the first day of school.

Forty-five minutes in, I raised my hoof up in the air to ask a question to Ms. Cheerilee.

"Ms. Cheerilee! How are you going to introduce me to the class?" I asked as Cheerilee looked back with a smile.

"I usually introduce new students by having them stand at the playground area before letting themselves in to introduce them to the class," Cheerilee responded to my question.

Again my heart begins to race. The guards couldn't be here, couldn't they? There wasn't any suspicious movement from Ms. Cheerilee after all. I sighed and trotted down to the door that leads to the playground area.

"I guess I'll wait until you call me?" I responded.

"Yes, I'll call you back in less than 10 minutes. Just don't get yourself hurt out there!" said Ms. Cheerilee.

Nodding I opened the door and waited outside. My inner self was yelling inside out. What was I thinking to enroll in the Ponyville SchoolHouse? Hopefully, it doesn't go downhill after this.
