Her Mother called as Pinkamena's eyes slowly opened before she sat upright on her bed. She looked around the room and jumped out of her bed as she began to walk towards the mirror that was near her bed. Pinkamena was a normal mare, with a pretty normal life. She couldn't think of herself as 'special'. She sucked and she knew it, but it didn't matter. Pinkamena then grabbed the brush near the counter before she brushed her straight mane. Once she finished she trotted out of her room and into the hallway, she inspected the hallway as if she hadn't seen it in her whole life. Strange, definitely strange, she wasn't much of an inspector but she couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable as if she didn't recognize her own home. Ridiculous. Pinkamena then turned her head and saw a picture frame. It was her, her sister's and her parents. Pinkamena winced in slight pain as she looked at the picture, it reminded her how lonely her life is now. She only lived with her mother now too. Her sister's Maud and Limestone have already started new lives, and Marble was kind and smart and even went to a better highschool then her. She would always be outshined by them but her Father...she sighed as she then trotted out her home to meet her Mother outside. "Pinkamena dear, please get ready sooner. You do not want to be late for school do you?" Cloudy asked as Pinkamena walked out with a blank expression. Pinkamena shrugged, in all honesty she didn't care if she was late for school. Cloudy sighed. " Come now Pinkamena we must get to school" she said before walking, Pinkamena following after her. Cloudy was Pinkamena's Mother and also worked as a teacher for the same school she attended. As the both ponies walked to school Pinkamena looked at the ponies of the town as they waved at her and her Mother. She couldn't help but feel uncomfortable again, why? She's seen these ponies her whole life..then why was she feeling like this? As Pinkamena's mind became filled with questions she didn't notice that she had made it at school before Cloudy snapped her back to reality. "Pinkamena were here! Now go to your classroom ok?" Cloudy then hugged Pinkamena before letting her go to class. Pinkamena trotted down the hallway before looking at the door infront of her before sighing as she then opened the door. Inside was her classmates all sitting down. There were also two seats that were not filled and a Mare infront of the classroom who was the teacher. "Now- oh! Pinkamena we didn't think you'd come today! Anyway we will be working in groups for this assignment so choose a partner" The mare said, smiling as she looked at Pinkamena. All she did was shrug once more before walking around the room to find a partner. She first went to Minuette since they both are usually partners most of the time. "Yo Pinka! Come to school earlier! I had to partner up with Carrot top haha..! Now she keeps turning to me and saying "Howdy partner!" Like a cowgirl haha.." Pinkamena frowned slightly, well that's a no.. She passed Carrot top, already knowing she had a partner before arriving to Moon Dancers desk. Moon Dancer was reading a book before looking up at Pinkamena "Taken" was all she said before continuing to read. Pinkamena sighed and walked over to Sky Drop desk "You know that Sky and Moon are ALWAYS a team! We're like a good duo!" Pinkamena just looked at him with a blank expression before moving on the the next pony which was..Derpy. "So sorry! But Derpy already has a partner!" Pinkamena looked around the classroom and noticed there was two other ponies she hadn't asked yet, she looked at the Derpy with a confused expression before noticing the muffin next to her. Oh. Right. She then proceeded to go over to Fluttershy and decided to ask Rarity last. "Oh! Pinkamena.. did you lose your pencil again? Do you want the one with lights on it or..Oh! You want to be partners? Sorry Rarity asked me already" Pinkamena expected that. "B-but I can ask Ms. Cheerlie to make it a group of three!" Pinkamena nodded. "Ok!" Fluttershy smiled before looking at Cheerlie. "U-um Cheerlie is it ok to have a group of three?" Rarity's ears perked up before looking at Fluttershy and Pinkamena. " wait what?" Cheerlie looked up from the book she was holding and looked at Fluttershy. " I'm sorry Fluttershy, I didn't hear you..what did you say?" Rarity then quickly spoke. " She said were fine just being alone!" She said, smiling. "o-oh um n-no I just wanted to s-say.." "Fluttershy can you please speak up?" "I-i..-" Suddenly a loud sound was made from the doorway as a rainbow maned pegasus walked in. Cheerlie looked at the mare with a nervous expression. "h-hi rainbow d-dash..." Rainbow Dash looked around the classroom before looking at Cheerlie. "Am I late?" She asked with no proper emotion. "U-uhhh no..we were j-just choosing partners for our projects for this month a-and umm Pinkamena! Your with Rainbow Dash!" Cheerlie said quickly. Rainbow Dash just looked at Pinkamena, both of them having a blank expression. "great" Cheerlie smiled and then proceeded to walk towards the chalkboard. She then looked around before a nervous expression appeared on her face. " U-um has anypony seen the chalk? This is the third time this week it's gone missing a-and.." The students just looked at Cheerlie. "How about this! If nopony says anything everypony will get in trouble!" The room was dead silent. "P-please..? Anypony?" "Um I think there's some chalk in the supply closet.. maybe Rainbow and I-" "Great idea Fluttershy! Rainbow since you were the last one to come in could you please get the chalk for me?" Cheerlie said as she looked at Rainbow, smiling. Rainbow sighed. "Whatever" She said as she then walked out, slamming the door once she left. "A-and Pinkamena could you please go and make sure she a-actually gets it..? Thanks.." Pinkamena sighed before walking out of the classroom. When Pinkamena was now out the classroom she camly began to walk before stopping once she saw Rainbow. She was smiling as she then got some chalk and ate some before turning to look at Pinkamena. "Pinkamena... didn't see you there" she said looking around before looking back at Pinkamena. "Hey..you didn't see anything just now ..did you..?" She asked as she looked at Pinkamena who made no reaction and continued to look at Rainbow with a blank expression. "Hmm... You cant even say?" Her smile was still on her face. "Pinkamena..." She then began to walk towards Pinkamena as Pinkamena began to walk back. "Hey.." Rainbow then placed her hoof on Pinkamena's shoulder. "Let me tell you a secret.." Rainbow whispered before throwing her right into the locker which made a big sound as she did so. " Quite ponies piss me off" " You think just cause you don't say anything...I can't tell exactly what your thinking, ' it's OVER! I caught Rainbow eating ALL the chalk! This was her last chance! Now she'll FINALLY be expelled!' Haha.. come on Pinkamena. Don't act shocked, you know it's true." Rainbow said grinning as she looked at Pinkamena. " Everypony's waiting for it. Everypony wants it." " So congrats Pinkamena, you got me, I'm done for." She said tilting her head slightly too see Pinkamena's face but it remained the same. Emotionless. Rainbow laughed silently. "Just lemme say one thing, seems like a waste to get expelled just for having a snack y'Know?" She said expecting Pinkamena to respond or show a reaction but still her face was the same. "So Pinkamena.. if I know your going to pull the trigger...." She chuckled. "Why don't I just get expelled for some REAL carnage..?" "Pinkamena...." "How do you feel..." She lifted her hoof. "About losing some teeth?" She grinned as she looked her in the eye before quickly punching Pinkamena, but she didn't. She stopped as her hoof was now infront of Pinkamena's face. "Heh..nah" She said as she dropped Pinkamena before taking a few steps back. "That would be stupid... besides you have a great mother y'know? It'd be a shame to get her worried." Rainbow the turned to look at Pinkamena once more. "Let's just get some chalk okay? Oh yeah and when we get back to class.." she grinned once more. "...YOU will do our project, how does that's sound?" Pinkamena sat there silently before opening her mouth to reply but was interrupted by Rainbow. "Don't bother answering if you didn't know by now, Your choices don't matter" Pinkamena sat there silently, repeating the same exact words in her mind. 'your choices don't matter'. "Now hurry up let's get that chalk" Rainbow said before she flew away towards the supply closet. Pinkamena just sat there a bit longer and thought about what just happened, she shook her head before standing up and trotting towards to where Rainbow should be. She couldn't help but wonder off to where the filles and colts classrooms are but stopped when she heard Rainbow. "What? Though those classes would be better for you? Hm actually- maybe I'll go with you, might even find a better partner there" she said as Pinkamena looked ahead and giggled silently at what Rainbow said. Gladly Rainbow didn't hear her. "Im kidding just get over here." Pinkamena sighed before having her blank expression on again once she trotted towards Rainbow. "Wow you really do walk slowly..what? Not used to holding your mother's hoof freak? Just hurry up." Pinkamena then quickly followed Rainbow before arriving at the supply closet. Something felt wrong, when both Rainbow and Pinkamena were infront of the supply closet it felt, strange, it made both of them uneasy. "Heh..it's pretty dark in there huh? So are you going to go and get the chalk or what?" Pinkamena could tell that Rainbow was slight afraid as well as she heard her tone but she still slowly took a few steps back, her eyes locked onto the closet. "Y-you afraid? H-hah Well then I guess I'll just-" Rainbow looked at the supply closet before turning to look at Pinkamena. "You know what?!? We will just go in together okay!" She said nearly yelling as both her and Pinkamena walked in. It was dark and there was some papers on the floor. "See nothing to be afraid of dumbass! Just some papers that's all..damn I can't see a thing. Let's try searching for that light switch." She said flying more into the closet as Pinkamena followed. Pinkamena looked around the place and felt uneasy as she continued following Rainbow. Not bothering to try and find a light switch. They then continued to go more into the closet before Rainbow stopped which also made Pinkamena stop. "Heh I think this closet is um broken- Well we've worked hard enough. Let's just head back and tell Cheerlie that we couldn't find any chalk" Rainbow then flew back and so did Pinkamena but once they were close enough to the door it suddenly shut. "What the.. HEY! LET US OUT! THIS ISN'T FUNNY IT-" Rainbow stopped yelling once she felt a sharp pain coming from her wing she turned to look at her wings before looking at Pinkamena. "I-" The ground then began to shake before the papers slowly started to fall. "What the hay!" Rainbow screamed before trying to flap her wings so that she could fly but she couldn't! Rainbow grunted as Pinkamena just stood there looking at the ground before they both fell down, Rainbow was the only one who screamed once they fell obviously. Author's Note Well I guess thats the first chapter! Anyway yeah I know other characters could have fit the roles of some characters but this is a AU so eh xD Also please point out any grammer errors please! Oh! She looked around to see where she was and to see if Rainbow was here. Nope. She didn't recognize this place and Rainbow wasn't here. Great. She then looked at herself, she was in some kind of armor. What? This made no sense! How did she get armor on her? She shook her head and stood up before beginning to trot around this area. It felt familiar as if she had been here before. Strange. First it was her home that felt unfamiliar, then the town...and all of a sudden a place she didn't know felt familiar? Definitely strange. She continued trotting as she looked around the area, it seemed bland. Not much color. "Okay first I need to find Rainbow, I don't want to get out of here and be accused of murder or something." She mumbled as she looked at the floor infront of her before she noticed a bright object. She tilted her head and inspected the object before reaching out. "At times you see it flickering the light only you can see. By second nature you reach out and -" her eyes suddenly widened as she felt as if she could feel a new presence in the same room she was in. Creepy. She sighed, shrugging it off and moving onto the next room before realizing something. 'Me and Rainbow were in the closet..and then we fell down. So then does that mean that this place is under the school? If so.. Then this sucks, if we don't get out of here we'll starve and die under a school. Guess school really would be the death of us, haha..' she thought, trying to make silly jokes, puns, ect. Without noticing she ended up walking into a wall which made her step back in surprise before noticing a shadow that quickly went away that was on top of the wall. 'Rainbow? No..that shadow looked smaller than me and Rainbow. So then if there were other ponies here then was there food? Hopefully-' She continued to walk forward and tried to find Rainbow but something else had caught her interest. These things..she didn't know how to describe it but it seemed to move whenever she walked by any of them. Were they motion detectors? She didn't know if she would ever find out. She continued to move along and passed a few more of those things before stopping, it was those things. But different, they seemed to be glowing red now. Not a good sign. She slowly began to walk as she looked at them and suddenly bullets came at her. "What the?!" She quickly ran and got a hit a few times before the things stopped attacking and she was at the other side of the room. 'thank Celestia.." She sat for a bit before getting back up and slowly trotting towards the next room. Her ears perked up when she spotted another bright object, she walked over to it before reaching out to touch it once more. "You bathed your body in the light. A power shines within you, breaking through the darkness, the pain you had melted away. ( Hp fully restored)." Eye puzzle Pinkamena suddenly felt better as she looked around before looking at the bright object. 'maybe these bright things make me feel better? It said hp fully restored.. haha what am i in, a video game?' She then began to walk over to a puzzle, it had three eyes. One eye had a dark circle, a white circle then a darker circle drawn underneath it. The second had a dark circle, another dark circle and a white circle underneath it. Finally the last had a white circle, another, and a dark circle underneath it. She took note of it before turning her head to see a sign that read. "In this land, only those blinded by darkness can see the way" 'Only those blinded by darkness....' Pinkamena trotted silently to the first eye and silently clicked it before looking at the puzzle to see what had changed and indeed something had changed. The first and last eye now was colored in with black. She nodded to herself before clicking the first eye again so then the puzzle could revert back to normal. 'If only ponies that are blinded by darkness can see the way...that would mean..' Pinkamena trotted too the second eye and clicked it which made the first and second eye turn black. She then trotted over to the last eye and clicked. The last eye then turned black before Pinkamena heard a loud click that had then made a bridge. Pinkamena smiled before trotting over the bridge and onto the other side. She looked at the walls, which had eyes and a black substance dripping from the walls. Pinkamena had a tiny bit of curiosity, wanting to touch the black liquid but something had told her perhaps it wouldn't be such a good idea so she sighed and just continued to walk She then noticed white other things, how to describe it? Well it seemed like a pile of dust or somethin similar to that. At first glance Pinkamena seemed to have a bad feeling while walking past them, thinking that something might jump out and scare her but it didn't seem like it. She continued to walk before running into another one of those pile or white things that was now in her way. She didn't want to do interact with them but now one blocked her way so she had to do something. Pinkamena looked at the pile of dust before touching it slightly which made half or the pile fade. Her eyes widened as she saw Rainbow quickly jump out and back away. "H-hey! Get away or i-i'll! Wait.. P.. pinkamena..? Phew.." Indeed Pinkamena was just a few steps away from Rainbow. Pinkamena smiled slightly, happy that she had now found Rainbow. Rainbow sighed softly before lifting her head to look at Pinkamena. "Look don't scare me like that, freak. Unless you want to get clocked in the face, heh... anyways enough joking around. We gotta find a way out of here." Pinkamena nodded in agreement. "Where ever 'here' is anyway.." Pinkamena frowned slightly, she thought that maybe Rainbow knew where they were but apparently she didn't. "That doesn't matter! YOU got us into this mess so you'll get us out!" Pinkamena looked at Rainbow for a moment before looking at the ground. Was it really her fault they got into this mess? No, it was Rainbow who ate that chalk and made them go into the closet so.... "So you lead the way Pinkamena" Rainbow said as she trotted over to be behind Pinkamena. Pinkamena looked at Rainbow before shrugging and continued to walk. But apparently Rainbow didn't seem to like walking. "You walk way too slow, you know what, I'm just going to go ahead-." Rainbow then speed walked her way infront of Pinkamena before moving to the next room. Pinkamena stood there for a bit before continuing to walk over to where Rainbow was. Rainbow was now still and silently, looking up before looking at Pinkamena. "Hey..it looks like somepony is waving at us,any idea what they want..?" Pinkamena looked up at the shadow of a pony that was standing on top of the wall and they seemed to have their hoof up. That is before they put there hoof down and two spades were thrown at Rainbow that made her dodge quickly, wait spades? "Pinkamena run!" Rainbow yelled before running away as spades began to fall from the sky. Pinkamena's eyes widened as she began to run, trying to dodge the spades. She continued to run before stopping as a spade flew infront of her, she then jumped over the spade before running once more before she then tripped and fell onto the floor. She quickly looked up to see a spade heading towards her. She quickly pushed herself away from the spade and stood up as she then ran quicker but stopped once she was next to Rainbow. "Down here!" Rainbow said as she let herself fall down, Pinkamena nodded before falling off too. She thought they would have stayed safe for now but just as she was feeling a bit more relaxed spades began to try and hit her. She sighed before dodging the spades one by one, her vision beginning to fade to white as she got hit by a spade that caused quite a bit of pain before shutting her eyes as she continued to fall. She slowly got up before taking a few steps forward as she looked around to see if Rainbow was with her. She wasn't. Pinkamena was annoyed but decided to walk forward, hoping to find Rainbow as soon as she could so then they could find a way home. As she walked Pinkamena looked around, trying to find anything that could help her at the moment, but there wasn't nothing. After walking a bit more her ears perked up, noticing Rainbow standing there she walked over. Rainbow turned her head to look at Pinkamena. " Huh, your not dead. Sweet, anyway we still gotta find a way out of here but it looks like there are some houses over there." Rainbow pointed towards the four houses. "How about checking it out? I'll catch up in a bit" Pinkamena looked up at her before nodding and walking towards the houses. Was it a village? She didn't think so. She looked up, trying to find something that would help but all she saw was a black thing shooting out into the sky..? What? She walked up to one house and tried to open it but it was locked, she shrugged before walking off to another house and tried to open it once more but it was also locked. Pinkamena looked at the two other houses and decided to skip them, thinking that they were also locked. Pinkamena continued to walk before another one of those bright things appeared, she then walked towards it and reached out to touch it. "Infront of you a castle looms beneath the empty town. A black geyser emerges from it piercing endlessly into the sky. The power of this place shines within you" Pinkamena stared at the object for a bit before walking once more. Reaching stairs, she tilted her head slightly before walking up,from a distance Rainbow began following and continued to follow Pinkamena as she walked up the stairs as well. Soon they were walking side by side, a castle beginning to show up from a distance as they got farther up the stairs. "Why the hell is a castle doing in a supply closet?" Rainbow said continuing to walk up the stairs with Pinkamena. Pinkamena just shrugged as she then stopped, Rainbow and Pinkamena had reached the castle and a pony standing infront of it with a cloak on. "Welcome heros..!" Pinkamena's ears perked up as she looked at the pony that had suddenly spoken. "What the?!" Rainbow looked at the pony with confusion. "Do not be alarmed.. I am not your enemy..please come forward, both of you.." Rainbow looked at Pinkamena and Pinkamena looked back, shrugging she and Rainbow slowly came forward near the pony. You ponies wanna seal our dark fountain huh?!" "And picturing you guys as clowns, save the world from eternal darkness?" "Eh" "Don't try and deny it! We both know you'll go east, it's your only way home! But I, Scootaloo, won't let you go there! And I've got a flawless two step plan to ensure it!" "Step one, I thrash you! Step two, you lose!" Rainbow smiled slightly. "Hmmm...nice plan kid" Scootaloo brightened up. "Really?" "Yeah.." Rainbow then suddenly grinned. "Mind if we use it on you instead?" A heart suddenly appeared in a box as Pinkamena and Rainbow had both gotten in a fight position and Scootaloo had done the same. Pinkamena looked around before looking at the buttons infront of her. Without thinking she had chosen act for some reason and chose warning. *You warned Scootaloo about Rainbow, she readies herself. Rainbow suddenly took out a axe out of practically nowhere and attacked Scootaloo, but Scootaloo was ready and doged! Rainbow smiled. "Don't know how I got an axe but I have one now so cool-" Scootaloo then pointed her hoof at them as spades came out of the sky and attacked them both but luckily they were able to dodge. Pinkamena looked at Rainbow before looking back at Scootaloo before ending up choosing act. Pinkamena still had no idea why she chose that but she didn't mind. *You tell Scootaloo that there great at riding the scooter she has! Scootaloo grins. "Ha! Of course I am!" Rainbow then again attacked Scootaloo as she ended up dodging once more. Scootaloo does a little spin on her scooter once more before riding it towards Pinkamena! Pinkamena's ears perk up as she quickly leaped to the side, avoiding the attack. Pinkamena then looked back at the buttons infront of her and chose Check. * Scootaloo- ATK 8 DEF 10, too young to have a motorcycle so she lit her scooter on fire. Pinkamena giggled silently at reading that as she then watched Rainbow attacking and missing. "Ho ho ho!" Scootaloo points her hoof towards them and sent alot more spades towards Rainbow dash. Rainbow Dash spread her wings but quickly regretted it as she felt a bolt of pain on her wing, she grunted before looking at the spades. She quickly rolled off to the side before quickly standing up. Pinkamena had easily danced around the spades and hadn't gotten hurt as she then looked at Rainbow to make sure she was okay and she was, she sighed in relief. "W-wait! My scooter's running out of fuel! This isn't the last time you'll see me by the way! Anyway gotta get home before dinner-" Scootaloo waved goodbye before running off on her scooter. Pinkamena sat down and took a deep breath before slowly standing up, Rainbow was just standing there before looking at Pinkamena. Then, the pony with the cloak returned and quickly ran near them. "O-oh my! Are you girls o-okay?" The pony asked worriedly. Pinkamena nodded silently before looking at Rainbow then back at the pony. "A-allow me to introduce myself!" The pony stepped back a bit before a purple aura surrounded the cloak the pony wore before it was slowly taken off. A unicorn was then revealed with a straight mane and purple fur, she also had a pair of glasses as well. "Hello everypony! I-im Twilight S-sparkle!" She said, shyly smiling at the two ponies infront of her. "It's ever so wonderful to meet you two!" Pinkamena looked at her and seemed uncomfortable, Twilight had a straight mane that slightly resembled her sister, Marble's mane from when she was younger. She couldn't help but feel a bit weird. "I'm sure were going to be great friends and.." "Best way to leave is east, right?" Rainbow suddenly spoke, looking at the unicorn. "Y-yes! That's where we'll.." "Ok. Got it." Rainbow then looked at Pinkamena before taking a few steps away from the two ponies before speaking once more. "See ya at school Pinkamena" She then began to walk away leaving the pink earth pony alone with the purple unicorn. "W-wait! O-oh..." Twilight looked down before looking back at Pinkamena and walked towards her. "Pinkamena, I am a princess but.. Twilight stood there for a moment before she continued. "Let's try and find Rainbow, she must have went southeast s-so..." Twilight silently walked behind Pinkamena and smiled. "You can lead the way Pinkamena!" Pinkamena looked at Twilight before shrugging and walking away to where the bright object was. Pinkamena reached out. "Twilight, the lonely princess is now your ally. The power of fluffy ponies shines within you." Pinkamena looked at the bright object then at Twilight and smiled before continuing to walk past the four houses and into the room that seemed to have a dummy that was dressed up in the same outfit Twilight had. She tilted her head before looking at Twilight. "O-oh! That's the training dummy I made! U-um Pinkamena..? Do you mind if I taught you how to fight?" She said smiling at Pinkamena. Pinkamena nodded silently. "O-oh ok then, get ready!". Both Pinkamena and Twilight got into fighting position. Infront of them a box appeared with a red heart inside. "You see that heart? That's your soul! The culmination of your being! Within it holds your will..,compassion, and the fate of the world" "If it gets hit you and your friends will lose hp! If everypony's hp reaches 0 then we lose the fight, so make sure to dodge the best you can!" Twilight explained. "Now how about trying to dodge, are you ready?" Pinkamena nodded once more as white dots began to came forward and attack Pinkamena. She quickly dodged most of them and sometimes it felt as if she was dancing infront of an audience. It felt..weird. " Good job Pinkamena! Anyway once the enemy attacks it's our turn! So first I'll teach you how to fight. T-though fighting is not necessary in this world there's no harm in a lesson! So when attacking you just click the fight button, go on ahead and try it!" Twilight encouraged as she looked at Pinkamena. Pinkamena looked at the buttons infront of her and clicked fight. She then tilted her head slightly as she stood there waiting for something to happen. She suddenly got out a sword and attacked the dummy. Her eyes widened as she stared at the sword for a moment, where did she... "Wow that was a great attack Pinkamena! Have you done this before or something?" All Pinkamena did was shrug. "Well anyhow, now let's try defending! Simply click the button defend and the enemy's attacks will hurt you less! Not only that but you'll gather more TP! (Watch the orange bar on the left! I'll explain it next!)" Pinkamena tilted her head, confused. What orange bar? There wasn't anything here that looked like a big orange bar - That unicorn is either seeing things..or Pinkamena was now blind apparently. Anyway she clicked the defend button. "G-great! Now that you've gathered enough TP why not use it for one of my spells? Because you hit the enemy enough it got tired! Now all you have to do is cast my pacify spell and we'll win the battle peacefully!" Pinkamena looked at the dummy then back at Twilight for a moment before Twilight suddenly casted pacify. "Good, Pinkamena! We would have won the battle by now! But there's still some things I still have to teach you!" "Acting! Through this, even the most violent enemies can be defeated through various acts of kindness! Pinkamena, even if its just a dummy..why not give it a hug?" Pinkamena looked at the dummy before looking at the dummy, she lightly pressed act and looked at the options. *Hug dummy *Hug Twilight She was gonna pick the first option so she could hug the dummy like Twilight said but something was pushing her to choosing the second option. She sighed before pressing the 2nd option. She trotted her way over to the confused Twilight before hugging her. Twilight blushed. "O-oh! Umm I don't think this is w-what your supposed to be doing....b-but...." Twilight looked as if she was going to cover her face with her scarf but just stood there before Pinkamena trotted back to where she was. Leaving a flustered Twilight. Pinkamena then went back to Act and chose the first option, she trotted over to the dummy before hugging it. "Aw! Your doing well Pinkamena! Each enemy had different acts that satisfies them! When an enemy is satisfied there name turns yellow! When that happens you can defeat it by sparing it!" "If we spare all the enemies we meet we'll never have to fight! Now go on ahead and spare the dummy Pinkamena!" Pinkamena turned back to face the buttons before choosing the spare button and successfully sparing the dummy. "Great job Pinkamena! That would also be the end of a real battle! I'm really glad I got to teach you! Your a wonderful student Pinkamena! O-oh and I made a manual too f-for you and Rainbow! Just in case you ever forget! Press [C] to open it up in your menu!" Twilight said as she levitated a book towards Pinkamena and smiled warmly. Pinkamena was clearly confused with the last part but shrugged it off and nodded as she took the book and put it in her inventory. Where she had no idea where it was but when the book was gone she thought she would still have it with her. She then began to walk towards the right with Twilight following behind her. Her ears suddenly perked up as she began to see a huge door. Twilight gasped. "The great door is opened! No wonder Scootaloo was able to get in here!" Twilight then looked down before looking back up at Pinkamena. "Pinkamena..once we pass through this door our adventure will really begin. A journey foretold exactly by the prophecy..but Pinkamena I believe your choices are important, too! This world is full of all kinds of ponies..in the end how we treat them makes all the difference. So let's try our best to get by without fighting! If we can manage to do that..I believe this tale will have a happy ending! Otherwise I fear that..you may not...find the result favorable. ... Oh! Am I putting on too much pressure? I'm sorry! I-i-" "I can handle it" Pinkamena said nodding at Twilight. "O-oh! Ok! Pinkamena, in the end, what you choose is up to you! As long as your happy with it then I'm happy too. So just try your best and don't worry!" Twilight said as she gave a reassuring nudge and smiled, Pinkamena smiled back before walking off and passed through the huge doors as Twilight then closed the door lightly. The Field of Hopes and DreamsWith the door closed behind you, your adventure will truly begin. The power of adventure shines within you. Field-Great Door* Pinkamena then lifted her hoof before looking around the place. It seemed..nice, it had more color and made her feel alot more comfortable. She began to walk as Twilight followed behind her. As she walked she continued to look around. Everything looked the same. The trees seemed to be a kinda redish and purpleish color and the grass was dark purple. Pinkamena looked behind her to see if Twilight was still following her and she was, standing there Twilight looked up from the ground to look at Pinkamena, she smiled. She smiled back as she continued walking forward and through the field. It felt..weird. Strange really, was this her imagination? She didn't know, all of this felt real and just being here is giving her a strange nostalgic feeling. Her train of thoughts stopped as Pinkamena saw a sign, tilting her head she read it. (Enemies ahead! You're gonna die! Hehe) Signed, Scootaloo) Pinkamena chuckled silently before walking again, she walked as she looked at the ground before hearing a sound from a few steps away. She looked up to see a diamond shaped creature holding a dagger? Knife? Uh-, but before she could say something the creature had come running towards them. Pinkamena took a few steps back before tripping. "A-are you alright Pinkamena?!?" Twilight came running towards her so that she can help her up and the creature was still coming towards them as well. "Uh" Again she was interrupted as a red heart came out and was now in a box as the creature seemed to have gotten in a fighting position. Twilight quickly helped Pinkamena up as she then looked at the creature. Below Pinkamena was words that read, *Rudinn drew near! 'Rudinn seemed to be there name I guess..' She thought before suddenly bringing out a sword. 'and where in equestria does this sword keep coming from?!??' She sighed before looking back at her options. She quickly chose Act and chose to check the Rudinn. A few seconds later Twilight had levitated her scarf and covered herself with it. Suddenly text started to write itself out as Pinkamena read. *Rudinn - AT 6 DF 0 *This ambivalent diamond isn't any girls best friend. "Face my diamond cutter!" Rudinn said before diamonds began to fall from the sky. Quickly Pinkamena dodged most of them and got hit once before looking up to see if Twilight was alright. There Twilight stood still covered by her scarf and seemed to be doing ok. She sighed in relief before she read the new text that had appeared infront of her. *Rudinn dislikes it's boss, but doesn't care enough to quit. 'Well that sucks' Was all she thought before clicking act and chose to convince it. *You told Ruddin to quit fighting. *It was utterly swayed. "Yeah I guess that makes sense." Pinkamena smiled as she got ready to spare them, then diamonds fell from the sky to attack her and Twilight. ' and then betrayal' Pinkamena quickly dodged the first few diamonds, she danced around some and fell trying to dodge others, those dance lessons seemed to be useful after all. *Ruddin thinks about elaborate stones. Pinkamena looked down at her buttons and saw the spare one glowing slightly. She quickly pressed it and the spared Ruddin and Twilight just stood there looking at the Ruddin. *Pinkamena spared Ruddin! Pinkamena sighed in relief before putting back her sword to where it came from which she still had no idea where, Twilight smiled and clapped before standing on all fours again. *You won! *Got 0 EXP and 39 D$ ' am I becoming delusional? ' She then got back to her position and Twilight walked behind her once more. Pinkamena continued to walk through the field as she slowly processed what just happened. She then came across another sign, it read. *(If you're reading this... I guess your dead.) *(Signed, Scootaloo) 'for a filly she has good grammar- I still mistake your and you're whenever I write.' She thought before trotting down and then right. Soon she came to a stop as she saw not just a sign but Scootaloo standing next to it. She silently read the sign. * (Hey, don't read this sign! It's a work in progress!) *(Signed, Scootaloo) Pinkamena looked at Scootaloo before she slowly approached her. "Ho ho ho! If it isn't my two favorite ponies! hehe kidding! You guys aren't even on my top 5-" "Scootaloo where's Rainbow?" Scootaloo grinned as she looked at Twilight. "You guys were to late to stop me!" "What did you do?!?" "It was so easy~!" " She beat me up,so I ran away...!" It took a while for Twilight to respond. "Really..?" "Yup!" Pinkamena looked at both of them before trotting down. She then noticed another sign. "(These types of trees DONT contain an item that can heal you. Whatever you do, don't check the tree and use [C] to open your menu! Got it???) (Signed, Scootaloo)" Pinkamena looked up at the tree before shrugging and looked at the item in the tree. ' I'll take the risk' She inspected it first, it was some kind of marshmallow. She then reached out to grab one. She looked at it before she read the words appearing before her. *Heals 40 HP. A red and black star that tastes like marshmallows. 'So it is a marshmallow, great it should come in handy later I guess-' Nodding to herself she continued to walk back before walking to the left. "Hey, if you head that way, my troops will thrash you." Twilight tilted her head. "Is that a threat..?" " I prefer to think of it as an invitation!" "Ok..." Awkwardly, Twilight continued to follow Pinkamena. Author's Note Sorry for this chapter being short, my motivation died for a huge amount of time, but I'm back and I promise to write more long chapters!! ^^
School"Pinkamena wake up it's almost time for school dear!" Her Mother called as Pinkamena's eyes slowly opened before she sat upright on her bed. She looked around the room and jumped out of her bed as she began to walk towards the mirror that was near her bed. Pinkamena was a normal mare, with a pretty normal life. She couldn't think of herself as 'special'. She sucked and she knew it, but it didn't matter. Pinkamena then grabbed the brush near the counter before she brushed her straight mane. Once she finished she trotted out of her room and into the hallway, she inspected the hallway as if she hadn't seen it in her whole life. Strange, definitely strange, she wasn't much of an inspector but she couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable as if she didn't recognize her own home. Ridiculous. Pinkamena then turned her head and saw a picture frame. It was her, her sister's and her parents. Pinkamena winced in slight pain as she looked at the picture, it reminded her how lonely her life is now. She only lived with her mother now too. Her sister's Maud and Limestone have already started new lives, and Marble was kind and smart and even went to a better highschool then her. She would always be outshined by them but her Father...she sighed as she then trotted out her home to meet her Mother outside. "Pinkamena dear, please get ready sooner. You do not want to be late for school do you?" Cloudy asked as Pinkamena walked out with a blank expression. Pinkamena shrugged, in all honesty she didn't care if she was late for school. Cloudy sighed. " Come now Pinkamena we must get to school" she said before walking, Pinkamena following after her. Cloudy was Pinkamena's Mother and also worked as a teacher for the same school she attended. As the both ponies walked to school Pinkamena looked at the ponies of the town as they waved at her and her Mother. She couldn't help but feel uncomfortable again, why? She's seen these ponies her whole life..then why was she feeling like this? As Pinkamena's mind became filled with questions she didn't notice that she had made it at school before Cloudy snapped her back to reality. "Pinkamena were here! Now go to your classroom ok?" Cloudy then hugged Pinkamena before letting her go to class. Pinkamena trotted down the hallway before looking at the door infront of her before sighing as she then opened the door. Inside was her classmates all sitting down. There were also two seats that were not filled and a Mare infront of the classroom who was the teacher. "Now- oh! Pinkamena we didn't think you'd come today! Anyway we will be working in groups for this assignment so choose a partner" The mare said, smiling as she looked at Pinkamena. All she did was shrug once more before walking around the room to find a partner. She first went to Minuette since they both are usually partners most of the time. "Yo Pinka! Come to school earlier! I had to partner up with Carrot top haha..! Now she keeps turning to me and saying "Howdy partner!" Like a cowgirl haha.." Pinkamena frowned slightly, well that's a no.. She passed Carrot top, already knowing she had a partner before arriving to Moon Dancers desk. Moon Dancer was reading a book before looking up at Pinkamena "Taken" was all she said before continuing to read. Pinkamena sighed and walked over to Sky Drop desk "You know that Sky and Moon are ALWAYS a team! We're like a good duo!" Pinkamena just looked at him with a blank expression before moving on the the next pony which was..Derpy. "So sorry! But Derpy already has a partner!" Pinkamena looked around the classroom and noticed there was two other ponies she hadn't asked yet, she looked at the Derpy with a confused expression before noticing the muffin next to her. Oh. Right. She then proceeded to go over to Fluttershy and decided to ask Rarity last. "Oh! Pinkamena.. did you lose your pencil again? Do you want the one with lights on it or..Oh! You want to be partners? Sorry Rarity asked me already" Pinkamena expected that. "B-but I can ask Ms. Cheerlie to make it a group of three!" Pinkamena nodded. "Ok!" Fluttershy smiled before looking at Cheerlie. "U-um Cheerlie is it ok to have a group of three?" Rarity's ears perked up before looking at Fluttershy and Pinkamena. " wait what?" Cheerlie looked up from the book she was holding and looked at Fluttershy. " I'm sorry Fluttershy, I didn't hear you..what did you say?" Rarity then quickly spoke. " She said were fine just being alone!" She said, smiling. "o-oh um n-no I just wanted to s-say.." "Fluttershy can you please speak up?" "I-i..-" Suddenly a loud sound was made from the doorway as a rainbow maned pegasus walked in. Cheerlie looked at the mare with a nervous expression. "h-hi rainbow d-dash..." Rainbow Dash looked around the classroom before looking at Cheerlie. "Am I late?" She asked with no proper emotion. "U-uhhh no..we were j-just choosing partners for our projects for this month a-and umm Pinkamena! Your with Rainbow Dash!" Cheerlie said quickly. Rainbow Dash just looked at Pinkamena, both of them having a blank expression. "great" Cheerlie smiled and then proceeded to walk towards the chalkboard. She then looked around before a nervous expression appeared on her face. " U-um has anypony seen the chalk? This is the third time this week it's gone missing a-and.." The students just looked at Cheerlie. "How about this! If nopony says anything everypony will get in trouble!" The room was dead silent. "P-please..? Anypony?" "Um I think there's some chalk in the supply closet.. maybe Rainbow and I-" "Great idea Fluttershy! Rainbow since you were the last one to come in could you please get the chalk for me?" Cheerlie said as she looked at Rainbow, smiling. Rainbow sighed. "Whatever" She said as she then walked out, slamming the door once she left. "A-and Pinkamena could you please go and make sure she a-actually gets it..? Thanks.." Pinkamena sighed before walking out of the classroom. When Pinkamena was now out the classroom she camly began to walk before stopping once she saw Rainbow. She was smiling as she then got some chalk and ate some before turning to look at Pinkamena. "Pinkamena... didn't see you there" she said looking around before looking back at Pinkamena. "Hey..you didn't see anything just now ..did you..?" She asked as she looked at Pinkamena who made no reaction and continued to look at Rainbow with a blank expression. "Hmm... You cant even say?" Her smile was still on her face. "Pinkamena..." She then began to walk towards Pinkamena as Pinkamena began to walk back. "Hey.." Rainbow then placed her hoof on Pinkamena's shoulder. "Let me tell you a secret.." Rainbow whispered before throwing her right into the locker which made a big sound as she did so. " Quite ponies piss me off" " You think just cause you don't say anything...I can't tell exactly what your thinking, ' it's OVER! I caught Rainbow eating ALL the chalk! This was her last chance! Now she'll FINALLY be expelled!' Haha.. come on Pinkamena. Don't act shocked, you know it's true." Rainbow said grinning as she looked at Pinkamena. " Everypony's waiting for it. Everypony wants it." " So congrats Pinkamena, you got me, I'm done for." She said tilting her head slightly too see Pinkamena's face but it remained the same. Emotionless. Rainbow laughed silently. "Just lemme say one thing, seems like a waste to get expelled just for having a snack y'Know?" She said expecting Pinkamena to respond or show a reaction but still her face was the same. "So Pinkamena.. if I know your going to pull the trigger...." She chuckled. "Why don't I just get expelled for some REAL carnage..?" "Pinkamena...." "How do you feel..." She lifted her hoof. "About losing some teeth?" She grinned as she looked her in the eye before quickly punching Pinkamena, but she didn't. She stopped as her hoof was now infront of Pinkamena's face. "Heh..nah" She said as she dropped Pinkamena before taking a few steps back. "That would be stupid... besides you have a great mother y'know? It'd be a shame to get her worried." Rainbow the turned to look at Pinkamena once more. "Let's just get some chalk okay? Oh yeah and when we get back to class.." she grinned once more. "...YOU will do our project, how does that's sound?" Pinkamena sat there silently before opening her mouth to reply but was interrupted by Rainbow. "Don't bother answering if you didn't know by now, Your choices don't matter" Pinkamena sat there silently, repeating the same exact words in her mind. 'your choices don't matter'. "Now hurry up let's get that chalk" Rainbow said before she flew away towards the supply closet. Pinkamena just sat there a bit longer and thought about what just happened, she shook her head before standing up and trotting towards to where Rainbow should be. She couldn't help but wonder off to where the filles and colts classrooms are but stopped when she heard Rainbow. "What? Though those classes would be better for you? Hm actually- maybe I'll go with you, might even find a better partner there" she said as Pinkamena looked ahead and giggled silently at what Rainbow said. Gladly Rainbow didn't hear her. "Im kidding just get over here." Pinkamena sighed before having her blank expression on again once she trotted towards Rainbow. "Wow you really do walk slowly..what? Not used to holding your mother's hoof freak? Just hurry up." Pinkamena then quickly followed Rainbow before arriving at the supply closet. Something felt wrong, when both Rainbow and Pinkamena were infront of the supply closet it felt, strange, it made both of them uneasy. "Heh..it's pretty dark in there huh? So are you going to go and get the chalk or what?" Pinkamena could tell that Rainbow was slight afraid as well as she heard her tone but she still slowly took a few steps back, her eyes locked onto the closet. "Y-you afraid? H-hah Well then I guess I'll just-" Rainbow looked at the supply closet before turning to look at Pinkamena. "You know what?!? We will just go in together okay!" She said nearly yelling as both her and Pinkamena walked in. It was dark and there was some papers on the floor. "See nothing to be afraid of dumbass! Just some papers that's all..damn I can't see a thing. Let's try searching for that light switch." She said flying more into the closet as Pinkamena followed. Pinkamena looked around the place and felt uneasy as she continued following Rainbow. Not bothering to try and find a light switch. They then continued to go more into the closet before Rainbow stopped which also made Pinkamena stop. "Heh I think this closet is um broken- Well we've worked hard enough. Let's just head back and tell Cheerlie that we couldn't find any chalk" Rainbow then flew back and so did Pinkamena but once they were close enough to the door it suddenly shut. "What the.. HEY! LET US OUT! THIS ISN'T FUNNY IT-" Rainbow stopped yelling once she felt a sharp pain coming from her wing she turned to look at her wings before looking at Pinkamena. "I-" The ground then began to shake before the papers slowly started to fall. "What the hay!" Rainbow screamed before trying to flap her wings so that she could fly but she couldn't! Rainbow grunted as Pinkamena just stood there looking at the ground before they both fell down, Rainbow was the only one who screamed once they fell obviously. Author's Note Well I guess thats the first chapter! Anyway yeah I know other characters could have fit the roles of some characters but this is a AU so eh xD Also please point out any grammer errors please! Oh! Fallen downPinkamena groaned as she slowly got up. "where in equestria am I?" She looked around to see where she was and to see if Rainbow was here. Nope. She didn't recognize this place and Rainbow wasn't here. Great. She then looked at herself, she was in some kind of armor. What? This made no sense! How did she get armor on her? She shook her head and stood up before beginning to trot around this area. It felt familiar as if she had been here before. Strange. First it was her home that felt unfamiliar, then the town...and all of a sudden a place she didn't know felt familiar? Definitely strange. She continued trotting as she looked around the area, it seemed bland. Not much color. "Okay first I need to find Rainbow, I don't want to get out of here and be accused of murder or something." She mumbled as she looked at the floor infront of her before she noticed a bright object. She tilted her head and inspected the object before reaching out. "At times you see it flickering the light only you can see. By second nature you reach out and -" her eyes suddenly widened as she felt as if she could feel a new presence in the same room she was in. Creepy. She sighed, shrugging it off and moving onto the next room before realizing something. 'Me and Rainbow were in the closet..and then we fell down. So then does that mean that this place is under the school? If so.. Then this sucks, if we don't get out of here we'll starve and die under a school. Guess school really would be the death of us, haha..' she thought, trying to make silly jokes, puns, ect. Without noticing she ended up walking into a wall which made her step back in surprise before noticing a shadow that quickly went away that was on top of the wall. 'Rainbow? No..that shadow looked smaller than me and Rainbow. So then if there were other ponies here then was there food? Hopefully-' She continued to walk forward and tried to find Rainbow but something else had caught her interest. These things..she didn't know how to describe it but it seemed to move whenever she walked by any of them. Were they motion detectors? She didn't know if she would ever find out. She continued to move along and passed a few more of those things before stopping, it was those things. But different, they seemed to be glowing red now. Not a good sign. She slowly began to walk as she looked at them and suddenly bullets came at her. "What the?!" She quickly ran and got a hit a few times before the things stopped attacking and she was at the other side of the room. 'thank Celestia.." She sat for a bit before getting back up and slowly trotting towards the next room. Her ears perked up when she spotted another bright object, she walked over to it before reaching out to touch it once more. "You bathed your body in the light. A power shines within you, breaking through the darkness, the pain you had melted away. ( Hp fully restored)." Eye puzzle Pinkamena suddenly felt better as she looked around before looking at the bright object. 'maybe these bright things make me feel better? It said hp fully restored.. haha what am i in, a video game?' She then began to walk over to a puzzle, it had three eyes. One eye had a dark circle, a white circle then a darker circle drawn underneath it. The second had a dark circle, another dark circle and a white circle underneath it. Finally the last had a white circle, another, and a dark circle underneath it. She took note of it before turning her head to see a sign that read. "In this land, only those blinded by darkness can see the way" 'Only those blinded by darkness....' Pinkamena trotted silently to the first eye and silently clicked it before looking at the puzzle to see what had changed and indeed something had changed. The first and last eye now was colored in with black. She nodded to herself before clicking the first eye again so then the puzzle could revert back to normal. 'If only ponies that are blinded by darkness can see the way...that would mean..' Pinkamena trotted too the second eye and clicked it which made the first and second eye turn black. She then trotted over to the last eye and clicked. The last eye then turned black before Pinkamena heard a loud click that had then made a bridge. Pinkamena smiled before trotting over the bridge and onto the other side. She looked at the walls, which had eyes and a black substance dripping from the walls. Pinkamena had a tiny bit of curiosity, wanting to touch the black liquid but something had told her perhaps it wouldn't be such a good idea so she sighed and just continued to walk She then noticed white other things, how to describe it? Well it seemed like a pile of dust or somethin similar to that. At first glance Pinkamena seemed to have a bad feeling while walking past them, thinking that something might jump out and scare her but it didn't seem like it. She continued to walk before running into another one of those pile or white things that was now in her way. She didn't want to do interact with them but now one blocked her way so she had to do something. Pinkamena looked at the pile of dust before touching it slightly which made half or the pile fade. Her eyes widened as she saw Rainbow quickly jump out and back away. "H-hey! Get away or i-i'll! Wait.. P.. pinkamena..? Phew.." Indeed Pinkamena was just a few steps away from Rainbow. Pinkamena smiled slightly, happy that she had now found Rainbow. Rainbow sighed softly before lifting her head to look at Pinkamena. "Look don't scare me like that, freak. Unless you want to get clocked in the face, heh... anyways enough joking around. We gotta find a way out of here." Pinkamena nodded in agreement. "Where ever 'here' is anyway.." Pinkamena frowned slightly, she thought that maybe Rainbow knew where they were but apparently she didn't. "That doesn't matter! YOU got us into this mess so you'll get us out!" Pinkamena looked at Rainbow for a moment before looking at the ground. Was it really her fault they got into this mess? No, it was Rainbow who ate that chalk and made them go into the closet so.... "So you lead the way Pinkamena" Rainbow said as she trotted over to be behind Pinkamena. Pinkamena looked at Rainbow before shrugging and continued to walk. But apparently Rainbow didn't seem to like walking. "You walk way too slow, you know what, I'm just going to go ahead-." Rainbow then speed walked her way infront of Pinkamena before moving to the next room. Pinkamena stood there for a bit before continuing to walk over to where Rainbow was. Rainbow was now still and silently, looking up before looking at Pinkamena. "Hey..it looks like somepony is waving at us,any idea what they want..?" Pinkamena looked up at the shadow of a pony that was standing on top of the wall and they seemed to have their hoof up. That is before they put there hoof down and two spades were thrown at Rainbow that made her dodge quickly, wait spades? "Pinkamena run!" Rainbow yelled before running away as spades began to fall from the sky. Pinkamena's eyes widened as she began to run, trying to dodge the spades. She continued to run before stopping as a spade flew infront of her, she then jumped over the spade before running once more before she then tripped and fell onto the floor. She quickly looked up to see a spade heading towards her. She quickly pushed herself away from the spade and stood up as she then ran quicker but stopped once she was next to Rainbow. "Down here!" Rainbow said as she let herself fall down, Pinkamena nodded before falling off too. She thought they would have stayed safe for now but just as she was feeling a bit more relaxed spades began to try and hit her. She sighed before dodging the spades one by one, her vision beginning to fade to white as she got hit by a spade that caused quite a bit of pain before shutting her eyes as she continued to fall.

She slowly got up before taking a few steps forward as she looked around to see if Rainbow was with her. She wasn't. Pinkamena was annoyed but decided to walk forward, hoping to find Rainbow as soon as she could so then they could find a way home. As she walked Pinkamena looked around, trying to find anything that could help her at the moment, but there wasn't nothing. After walking a bit more her ears perked up, noticing Rainbow standing there she walked over. Rainbow turned her head to look at Pinkamena. " Huh, your not dead. Sweet, anyway we still gotta find a way out of here but it looks like there are some houses over there." Rainbow pointed towards the four houses. "How about checking it out? I'll catch up in a bit" Pinkamena looked up at her before nodding and walking towards the houses. Was it a village? She didn't think so. She looked up, trying to find something that would help but all she saw was a black thing shooting out into the sky..? What? She walked up to one house and tried to open it but it was locked, she shrugged before walking off to another house and tried to open it once more but it was also locked. Pinkamena looked at the two other houses and decided to skip them, thinking that they were also locked. Pinkamena continued to walk before another one of those bright things appeared, she then walked towards it and reached out to touch it. "Infront of you a castle looms beneath the empty town. A black geyser emerges from it piercing endlessly into the sky. The power of this place shines within you" Pinkamena stared at the object for a bit before walking once more. Reaching stairs, she tilted her head slightly before walking up,from a distance Rainbow began following and continued to follow Pinkamena as she walked up the stairs as well. Soon they were walking side by side, a castle beginning to show up from a distance as they got farther up the stairs. "Why the hell is a castle doing in a supply closet?" Rainbow said continuing to walk up the stairs with Pinkamena. Pinkamena just shrugged as she then stopped, Rainbow and Pinkamena had reached the castle and a pony standing infront of it with a cloak on. "Welcome heros..!" Pinkamena's ears perked up as she looked at the pony that had suddenly spoken. "What the?!" Rainbow looked at the pony with confusion. "Do not be alarmed.. I am not your enemy..please come forward, both of you.." Rainbow looked at Pinkamena and Pinkamena looked back, shrugging she and Rainbow slowly came forward near the pony. "Welcome I am the princess of this kingdom..the kingdom of darkness." "Pinkamena.. Rainbow dash... There is a legend in this land..A legend that one day, two heroes of light will arrive and fulfill the ancient prophecy foretold by time and space.. Please hero's listen to my tale.." Pinkamena looked at the pony before turning to look at Rainbow who had a bored expression on her face. She looked back at the pony and nodded silently. "O-oh! Um very well then!" ---------- Once upon a time a legend was whispered among shadows. It was a legend Of hopes and dreams. It was a legend of light and dark. This is the legend of Deltarune. For a millennia light and dark have lived in balance, bring peace to Equestria. But if this harmony were to shatter, a terrible calamity would occur... The sky will run black with terror And the land will crack with fear, and her heart pounding..the earth will draw her final breath.. Only then, shining with hope... Three heros will appear at worlds edge. A earth pony A Pegasus And a Unicorn princess from the dark. Only they can seal the fountains and banish the angles heaven. Only then will peace be restored, and the world saved from destruction. Today the fountain of darkness, the geyser that gives this land form, stands tall at the center of the kingdom. Suddenly a loud sound was heard, Pinkamena looked towards where the sound was heard from before a little pony driving a scooter came driving into the scene. Crashing into the hooded pony and sending them flying, the pony was now in there place, grinning. "Ho ho ho! The heros are already running away~ and they didn't even know I was here! Hehe! My dad is gonna make me daughter of the month!" "Who the hell are you?!" The little pony grinned. "Imm...!" She then did a little spin on her scooter before facing them again. "The bad guy! Hehe... You ponies wanna seal our dark fountain huh?!" "And picturing you guys as clowns, save the world from eternal darkness?" "Eh" "Don't try and deny it! We both know you'll go east, it's your only way home! But I, Scootaloo, won't let you go there! And I've got a flawless two step plan to ensure it!" "Step one, I thrash you! Step two, you lose!" Rainbow smiled slightly. "Hmmm...nice plan kid" Scootaloo brightened up. "Really?" "Yeah.." Rainbow then suddenly grinned. "Mind if we use it on you instead?" A heart suddenly appeared in a box as Pinkamena and Rainbow had both gotten in a fight position and Scootaloo had done the same. Pinkamena looked around before looking at the buttons infront of her. Without thinking she had chosen act for some reason and chose warning. *You warned Scootaloo about Rainbow, she readies herself. Rainbow suddenly took out a axe out of practically nowhere and attacked Scootaloo, but Scootaloo was ready and doged! Rainbow smiled. "Don't know how I got an axe but I have one now so cool-" Scootaloo then pointed her hoof at them as spades came out of the sky and attacked them both but luckily they were able to dodge. Pinkamena looked at Rainbow before looking back at Scootaloo before ending up choosing act. Pinkamena still had no idea why she chose that but she didn't mind. *You tell Scootaloo that there great at riding the scooter she has! Scootaloo grins. "Ha! Of course I am!" Rainbow then again attacked Scootaloo as she ended up dodging once more. Scootaloo does a little spin on her scooter once more before riding it towards Pinkamena! Pinkamena's ears perk up as she quickly leaped to the side, avoiding the attack. Pinkamena then looked back at the buttons infront of her and chose Check. * Scootaloo- ATK 8 DEF 10, too young to have a motorcycle so she lit her scooter on fire. Pinkamena giggled silently at reading that as she then watched Rainbow attacking and missing. "Ho ho ho!" Scootaloo points her hoof towards them and sent alot more spades towards Rainbow dash. Rainbow Dash spread her wings but quickly regretted it as she felt a bolt of pain on her wing, she grunted before looking at the spades. She quickly rolled off to the side before quickly standing up. Pinkamena had easily danced around the spades and hadn't gotten hurt as she then looked at Rainbow to make sure she was okay and she was, she sighed in relief. "W-wait! My scooter's running out of fuel! This isn't the last time you'll see me by the way! Anyway gotta get home before dinner-" Scootaloo waved goodbye before running off on her scooter. Pinkamena sat down and took a deep breath before slowly standing up, Rainbow was just standing there before looking at Pinkamena. Then, the pony with the cloak returned and quickly ran near them. "O-oh my! Are you girls o-okay?" The pony asked worriedly. Pinkamena nodded silently before looking at Rainbow then back at the pony. "A-allow me to introduce myself!" The pony stepped back a bit before a purple aura surrounded the cloak the pony wore before it was slowly taken off. A unicorn was then revealed with a straight mane and purple fur, she also had a pair of glasses as well. "Hello everypony! I-im Twilight S-sparkle!" She said, shyly smiling at the two ponies infront of her. "It's ever so wonderful to meet you two!" Pinkamena looked at her and seemed uncomfortable, Twilight had a straight mane that slightly resembled her sister, Marble's mane from when she was younger. She couldn't help but feel a bit weird. "I'm sure were going to be great friends and.." "Best way to leave is east, right?" Rainbow suddenly spoke, looking at the unicorn. "Y-yes! That's where we'll.." "Ok. Got it." Rainbow then looked at Pinkamena before taking a few steps away from the two ponies before speaking once more. "See ya at school Pinkamena" She then began to walk away leaving the pink earth pony alone with the purple unicorn. "W-wait! O-oh..." Twilight looked down before looking back at Pinkamena and walked towards her. "Pinkamena, I am a princess but.. I-I currently don't have any subjects..I've been waiting alone um almost my whole life for the two of you two arrive.. so um it's a pleasure meeting you, I hope we can become good friends, Pinkamena!" Twilight stood there for a moment before she continued. "Let's try and find Rainbow, she must have went southeast s-so..." Twilight silently walked behind Pinkamena and smiled. "You can lead the way Pinkamena!" Pinkamena looked at Twilight before shrugging and walking away to where the bright object was. Pinkamena reached out. "Twilight, the lonely princess is now your ally. The power of fluffy ponies shines within you." Pinkamena looked at the bright object then at Twilight and smiled before continuing to walk past the four houses and into the room that seemed to have a dummy that was dressed up in the same outfit Twilight had. She tilted her head before looking at Twilight. "O-oh! That's the training dummy I made! U-um Pinkamena..? Do you mind if I taught you how to fight?" She said smiling at Pinkamena. Pinkamena nodded silently. "O-oh ok then, get ready!". Both Pinkamena and Twilight got into fighting position. Infront of them a box appeared with a red heart inside. "You see that heart? That's your soul! The culmination of your being! Within it holds your will..,compassion, and the fate of the world" "If it gets hit you and your friends will lose hp! If everypony's hp reaches 0 then we lose the fight, so make sure to dodge the best you can!" Twilight explained. "Now how about trying to dodge, are you ready?" Pinkamena nodded once more as white dots began to came forward and attack Pinkamena. She quickly dodged most of them and sometimes it felt as if she was dancing infront of an audience. It felt..weird. " Good job Pinkamena! Anyway once the enemy attacks it's our turn! So first I'll teach you how to fight. T-though fighting is not necessary in this world there's no harm in a lesson! So when attacking you just click the fight button, go on ahead and try it!" Twilight encouraged as she looked at Pinkamena. Pinkamena looked at the buttons infront of her and clicked fight. She then tilted her head slightly as she stood there waiting for something to happen. She suddenly got out a sword and attacked the dummy. Her eyes widened as she stared at the sword for a moment, where did she... "Wow that was a great attack Pinkamena! Have you done this before or something?" All Pinkamena did was shrug. "Well anyhow, now let's try defending! Simply click the button defend and the enemy's attacks will hurt you less! Not only that but you'll gather more TP! (Watch the orange bar on the left! I'll explain it next!)" Pinkamena tilted her head, confused. What orange bar? There wasn't anything here that looked like a big orange bar - That unicorn is either seeing things..or Pinkamena was now blind apparently. Anyway she clicked the defend button. "G-great! Now that you've gathered enough TP why not use it for one of my spells? Because you hit the enemy enough it got tired! Now all you have to do is cast my pacify spell and we'll win the battle peacefully!" Pinkamena looked at the dummy then back at Twilight for a moment before Twilight suddenly casted pacify. "Good, Pinkamena! We would have won the battle by now! But there's still some things I still have to teach you!" "Acting! Through this, even the most violent enemies can be defeated through various acts of kindness! Pinkamena, even if its just a dummy..why not give it a hug?" Pinkamena looked at the dummy before looking at the dummy, she lightly pressed act and looked at the options. *Hug dummy *Hug Twilight She was gonna pick the first option so she could hug the dummy like Twilight said but something was pushing her to choosing the second option. She sighed before pressing the 2nd option. She trotted her way over to the confused Twilight before hugging her. Twilight blushed. "O-oh! Umm I don't think this is w-what your supposed to be doing....b-but...." Twilight looked as if she was going to cover her face with her scarf but just stood there before Pinkamena trotted back to where she was. Leaving a flustered Twilight. Pinkamena then went back to Act and chose the first option, she trotted over to the dummy before hugging it. "Aw! Your doing well Pinkamena! Each enemy had different acts that satisfies them! When an enemy is satisfied there name turns yellow! When that happens you can defeat it by sparing it!" "If we spare all the enemies we meet we'll never have to fight! Now go on ahead and spare the dummy Pinkamena!" Pinkamena turned back to face the buttons before choosing the spare button and successfully sparing the dummy. "Great job Pinkamena! That would also be the end of a real battle! I'm really glad I got to teach you! Your a wonderful student Pinkamena! O-oh and I made a manual too f-for you and Rainbow! Just in case you ever forget! Press [C] to open it up in your menu!" Twilight said as she levitated a book towards Pinkamena and smiled warmly. Pinkamena was clearly confused with the last part but shrugged it off and nodded as she took the book and put it in her inventory. Where she had no idea where it was but when the book was gone she thought she would still have it with her. She then began to walk towards the right with Twilight following behind her. Her ears suddenly perked up as she began to see a huge door. Twilight gasped. "The great door is opened! No wonder Scootaloo was able to get in here!" Twilight then looked down before looking back up at Pinkamena. "Pinkamena..once we pass through this door our adventure will really begin. A journey foretold exactly by the prophecy..but Pinkamena I believe your choices are important, too! This world is full of all kinds of ponies..in the end how we treat them makes all the difference. So let's try our best to get by without fighting! If we can manage to do that..I believe this tale will have a happy ending! Otherwise I fear that..you may not...find the result favorable. ... Oh! Am I putting on too much pressure? I'm sorry! I-i-" "I can handle it" Pinkamena said nodding at Twilight. "O-oh! Ok! Pinkamena, in the end, what you choose is up to you! As long as your happy with it then I'm happy too. So just try your best and don't worry!" Twilight said as she gave a reassuring nudge and smiled, Pinkamena smiled back before walking off and passed through the huge doors as Twilight then closed the door lightly.
The Field of Hopes and DreamsWith the door closed behind you, your adventure will truly begin. The power of adventure shines within you. Field-Great Door* Pinkamena then lifted her hoof before looking around the place. It seemed..nice, it had more color and made her feel alot more comfortable. She began to walk as Twilight followed behind her. As she walked she continued to look around. Everything looked the same. The trees seemed to be a kinda redish and purpleish color and the grass was dark purple. Pinkamena looked behind her to see if Twilight was still following her and she was, standing there Twilight looked up from the ground to look at Pinkamena, she smiled. She smiled back as she continued walking forward and through the field. It felt..weird. Strange really, was this her imagination? She didn't know, all of this felt real and just being here is giving her a strange nostalgic feeling. Her train of thoughts stopped as Pinkamena saw a sign, tilting her head she read it. (Enemies ahead! You're gonna die! Hehe) Signed, Scootaloo) Pinkamena chuckled silently before walking again, she walked as she looked at the ground before hearing a sound from a few steps away. She looked up to see a diamond shaped creature holding a dagger? Knife? Uh-, but before she could say something the creature had come running towards them. Pinkamena took a few steps back before tripping. "A-are you alright Pinkamena?!?" Twilight came running towards her so that she can help her up and the creature was still coming towards them as well. "Uh" Again she was interrupted as a red heart came out and was now in a box as the creature seemed to have gotten in a fighting position. Twilight quickly helped Pinkamena up as she then looked at the creature. Below Pinkamena was words that read, *Rudinn drew near! 'Rudinn seemed to be there name I guess..' She thought before suddenly bringing out a sword. 'and where in equestria does this sword keep coming from?!??' She sighed before looking back at her options. She quickly chose Act and chose to check the Rudinn. A few seconds later Twilight had levitated her scarf and covered herself with it. Suddenly text started to write itself out as Pinkamena read. *Rudinn - AT 6 DF 0 *This ambivalent diamond isn't any girls best friend. "Face my diamond cutter!" Rudinn said before diamonds began to fall from the sky. Quickly Pinkamena dodged most of them and got hit once before looking up to see if Twilight was alright. There Twilight stood still covered by her scarf and seemed to be doing ok. She sighed in relief before she read the new text that had appeared infront of her. *Rudinn dislikes it's boss, but doesn't care enough to quit. 'Well that sucks' Was all she thought before clicking act and chose to convince it. *You told Ruddin to quit fighting. *It was utterly swayed. "Yeah I guess that makes sense." Pinkamena smiled as she got ready to spare them, then diamonds fell from the sky to attack her and Twilight. ' and then betrayal' Pinkamena quickly dodged the first few diamonds, she danced around some and fell trying to dodge others, those dance lessons seemed to be useful after all. *Ruddin thinks about elaborate stones. Pinkamena looked down at her buttons and saw the spare one glowing slightly. She quickly pressed it and the spared Ruddin and Twilight just stood there looking at the Ruddin. *Pinkamena spared Ruddin! Pinkamena sighed in relief before putting back her sword to where it came from which she still had no idea where, Twilight smiled and clapped before standing on all fours again. *You won! *Got 0 EXP and 39 D$ ' am I becoming delusional? ' She then got back to her position and Twilight walked behind her once more. Pinkamena continued to walk through the field as she slowly processed what just happened. She then came across another sign, it read. *(If you're reading this... I guess your dead.) *(Signed, Scootaloo) 'for a filly she has good grammar- I still mistake your and you're whenever I write.' She thought before trotting down and then right. Soon she came to a stop as she saw not just a sign but Scootaloo standing next to it. She silently read the sign. * (Hey, don't read this sign! It's a work in progress!) *(Signed, Scootaloo) Pinkamena looked at Scootaloo before she slowly approached her. "Ho ho ho! If it isn't my two favorite ponies! hehe kidding! You guys aren't even on my top 5-" "Scootaloo where's Rainbow?" Scootaloo grinned as she looked at Twilight. "You guys were to late to stop me!" "What did you do?!?" "It was so easy~!" " She beat me up,so I ran away...!" It took a while for Twilight to respond. "Really..?" "Yup!" Pinkamena looked at both of them before trotting down. She then noticed another sign. "(These types of trees DONT contain an item that can heal you. Whatever you do, don't check the tree and use [C] to open your menu! Got it???) (Signed, Scootaloo)" Pinkamena looked up at the tree before shrugging and looked at the item in the tree. ' I'll take the risk' She inspected it first, it was some kind of marshmallow. She then reached out to grab one. She looked at it before she read the words appearing before her. *Heals 40 HP. A red and black star that tastes like marshmallows. 'So it is a marshmallow, great it should come in handy later I guess-' Nodding to herself she continued to walk back before walking to the left. "Hey, if you head that way, my troops will thrash you." Twilight tilted her head. "Is that a threat..?" " I prefer to think of it as an invitation!" "Ok..." Awkwardly, Twilight continued to follow Pinkamena. Author's Note Sorry for this chapter being short, my motivation died for a huge amount of time, but I'm back and I promise to write more long chapters!! ^^
