Spike's Mates

"What are you doing here?!" Spike demanded. "I thought you were locked up!"

"Brings back memories, doesn't Spike?" she said; ignoring the question. "I remember when you first asked me out during one of the royal family's parties. It was right here in this spot." For every two steps Amethyst took forward, Spike would take three steps back. He avoided eye contact with her as well; knowing the abilities she has. "And not far from here, was where we were about to share our first kiss." she continued. "Shame it was ruined."

"What do you want?!" Spike raised his voice.

"You know what I want, Spike." she said seductively. "I...want...you." Amethyst's eyes started glowing, however, since Spike wasn't looking at her, she couldn't control him. "I need your help, Spike. You're the only one who can do it."

"As if I'd help you, after what you did to me!" he spat. Spike continued to back up until he backed into a tree. Amethyst took this time to quickly move in and corner him. Spike sealed his eyes shut as his former love interest had him trapped with nowhere to go. Once she placed both claws on Spike's face he instantly grabbed her arms and pushed her away. Amethyst stumbled backwards a bit before falling on her ass. Spike took this time to make his escape. He ran away as fast as he could, but was tackled to the ground just as fast by Spear who showed up out of nowhere. Spike groaned after hitting the ground hard. He was shock to discover that Spear attacked him like that, and tried to push the stallion off him, but with Spear's training as a guard, that task proved to be futile. "S-Spear, w-what are you doing?!" Spike demanded to know.

"My mistress has business with you, dragon!" he stated. Looking into the stallion's eyes, Spike saw that he was under the dragoness' control. Spear pulled Spike up to his feet and forced him to look in Amethyst's direction.

"What did you do to him?!" Spike demanded.

"Never mind that, Spike." she said. "Just look at me." Spike responded by sealing his eyes shut once again.

"I won't let you control me." he said; defiantly.

"You won't have a choice." she said as she gave Spear a look. The royal guard then started to forcefully opened one of Spike's eyes with mush resistance. Try as he might, he couldn't break free from Spear's hold. Spike gritted his teeth as he attempted to keep his eye closed; thrashing around as much as he could. Amethyst helped out by grabbing Spike's head and holding him still while her eyes lit up. Spike could feel her magic taking him over just like before. He put up a resistance, but she was too strong. Spike grunted and yelled as his mind was slowly taken over by darkness.

Cadence couldn't be anymore embarrassed than she was right now after Shining's rage filled outburst after Twilight and Blueblood broke his barrier and forcefully pulled him off the stage. The stallion fought back against them by screaming out how much his public demands to hear his voice and how he never gets a song to sing in this show, which angered Pinkie as she was sure Shining just stole her shtick with that comment. Getting tired of his outbursts, Blueblood did the only logical thing he could so in this situation, he knocked him out with one hard punch to the face; much to the shock of all the guest. Two guards who were on duty at the time, grabbed Shining's unconscious body, and hauled him off. "A bit much, do you think?" asked Stardust.

"Not really." Blueblood replied.

Twilight, in an attempt to hide her face from the crowd after her brother's antics, hurried away as fast as she could with her friends right behind her. "Somepony kill me right now." she said.

"Oh, come on, Twilight." said Rarity. "It's not that bad."

"Just how the heck did Avalanche Cider end up here anyway?" asked Applejack.

"That's what we're trying to find out, Applejack." came Luna's voice. As the Princess of the Night approached the mares, Twilight noticed that Spike wasn't with her.

"Say, Luna, where's Spike?" she asked. "I thought he was with you in the garden."

"What do you mean?" Luna asked with a confused tone. "Spike hasn't been with me all night. In fact, the last time I saw him, he was with you girls."

"But Spear Hook said........." Twilight was stopped when two guards approached the Luna taking one knee. The looks on their faces said to everypony that some bad as just happened.

"Princess Luna, we regret to inform you that the dragons have escaped from their prison." one of them said. This messaged alarmed Luna and the others, but as much as the next one. "And it would seem that Amethyst.....has escaped as well." Luna was frozen stiff in shock and fear before slowly turning towards Twilight who had the same look on her face.

"Twilight....what was that about Spear Hook?" she said.

Spear Hook released Spike from his hold and the dragon now stood there with a dead look in his eyes before they started glowing. "Now, Spear, could you kindly leave us." Amethyst said. "Spike and I have some catching up to do."

"Yes, my mistress." Spear said before leaving. With him gone, Amethyst could now focus on the task at hand. She wrapped her arms around Spike and stared deep into his eyes. The poor dragon, with no control over himself whatsoever, did the same; wrapping his arms around her waist.

"It's good to see you again, Spike." she said in a soft tone. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." he said in hypnotic tone.

"I need your help, you're the only one I can ask." she said. "Will you please help me?"

"Anything." he said.

"Spike, my father is in a civil war with my uncle right now, and things aren't going well for him." she explained. "I don't think he'll be able to win, but with your help, he can beat my uncle, and reclaim his throne."

"What is it you need?" he asked.

"I need to know where Goliath is." she said. "I know he was taken to a facility that only the royal family knows about, and since you're royal, you must've heard about it."

"It's.....GAH!" Spike yelled before pushing the dragoness away and grabbing his head. Inside Spike's mind, he was pushing back against the darkness that had taken over his body; trying his best to regain control.

"He's resisting." Amethyst thought. "Well, not for long." The dragoness walked up to Spike, and grabbed his head; forcing him to look at her. "Shhh, shhh, it's okay, baby." she said in a soft tone. "I'm here now." Her eyes glowed and strengthen the control she had over him. Amethyst then pulled Spike close to her; bringing his face in between her dragon tits. Amethyst brought Spike over to the bench where they both sat down. "Feeling better?" she asked. Spike answered with a nod. "Good, now please, tell me where's Goliath is being held. Do this for me, and I'll give you the one thing you've been wanting from me since we started dating; maybe more."

"G-Goliath is......" Spike started.

"SPIKE!" screamed Twilight as she ran up on scene and witnessed Spike in Amethyst's arms. The amount of anger that ran through the alicorn's body was unlike anything she felt before. "Let...him...go!" she growled.

"Sorry, but as you can see, Spike is mine." Amethyst responded.

"I won't tell you again, let...him...go!" she growled. This time, a dark purple aura started to surround her body as she slowly started to make her way towards them. Amethyst smirked as she knew that Twilight wouldn't risk harming her; else Spike would be caught in the crosshairs as well. It wasn't long before the other mares showed up and witnessed the scene before them. Before anything else could happen, Spear Hook dropped in out of nowhere and took a protective stance between the mares and Amethyst. Luna's eyes were filled with anger once she saw the guard with glowing eyes. "What did you do to him?!" she demanded.

Amethyst stood up from the bench with Spike and spread her wings. "Spear, would you kindly take care of this ponies while Spike and I catch up."

"With pleasure, my mistress." he said. In one move, Amethyst took off into the air with Spike in her arms. Twilight called for him before spreading her wings and taking off after them, but Spear was ready. The stallion leaped up after Twilight, grabbed her by the leg, and swung her back towards the ground. Applejack quickly moved in to catch her, while Cadence used her magic to capture Spear in a barrier. The stallion quickly broke out of it due to his training and charged the mares. Luna stepped in tackled him to the ground; not wanting to hurt him. It wasn't his fault he was betraying the royal family after all. Spear managed to kick Luna off him and rise to his feet when he was hit from the side by a magical beam from Rarity that brought him to a knee. As Spear was starting to get back up, Fluttershy and Pinkie grabbed hold of him to hold him down, but that wouldn't last long. The stallion managed to throw both mares off before turning his attention towards Twilight who was about to take off again. He ran as fast as he could to get her, but was stopped when Luna tripped him. He fell on his face, but quickly got up and grabbed Twilight before she could take off. The Purple Alicorn was only a few feet off the ground before Spear grabbed her leg. She delivered a few kicks to his face before a final one caused him to let go. Now free from his grasp, Twilight quickly took off. With a growl, Spear started to run off after her, but was stopped when Fluttershy got in his way. The stallion grabbed her by the neck and held her up. Fluttershy struggled to breathe as Spear started to choke the life out of her, but out of nowhere, a giant foot came around and hit on the side of his head; causing him to release the yellow pegasus as his body went flying into a tree.

Fluttershy fell to the ground coughing hard and gasping for air before being gently picked up by her savior. "B-Big Mac?" she managed to say.

"Eeyup." he said before bringing over to a nearby bench. Now that she was safe, the red stallion quickly turned his attention towards Spear who groaned while rubbing the back of his head.

"W-What happened?" he said. "Where am I?" The guard looked up just in time to see an angry red stallion launching himself right at him with a big red fist. Spear had no time to react and promptly had his head punched right into the tree that was behind him. With his head not lodged inside the tree, Spear's body moved around for a few seconds before it abruptly stopped. Seconds later, a few Canterlot guards ran on scene due to the noise. "Is everything alright?!" one of them said.

"I need you to take Spear Hook to the infirmary, NOW!" Luna commanded. Two of the guards went to do just that, while one of them headed over to the princess. "What of the other dragons, have you found them yet?!"

"All of the guards are already searching every inch of Canterlot." he said. "They won't get far."

"See that they don't." she said before turning her attention towards everypony else. "Everypony, follow me. We're going after Amethyst!"

Twilight flew through the sky hoping to catch up to Amethyst. The fight with Spear caused much distance between them, but she wasn't gonna let that stop her. Up ahead Amethyst landed in the middle of the forest; knowing that it would be difficult for anypony to find them in the dark. She and Spike stood under the biggest tree she could find where she continued to question him. "Now, before were so rudely interrupted, where's Goliath?" she asked.

"Goliath is in a facility underneath the red ocean." he answered in a trance. "It's protected with an anti-magic barrier so that no magic could get in or out. So if you were in danger of some kind, there's no why Goliath could detect it. The only way to get in is with the DNA of one member of the royal family."

"Then it's a good thing I have you." she said seductively.

"NO YOU DON'T!" screamed a voice. A purple lightning bolt came from nowhere and struck Amethyst in the back. The dragoness screamed out in pain before falling to her knees. Out from the shadows came Twilight; fueled with extreme anger as a dark purple aura surrounded her body.

"Y-You bitch!" Amethyst groaned.

"There's more where that came from if you don't let him go." Twilight threaten.

"Spike, are you gonna let her get away with attacking me like that?" she asked.

"No." Spike growled as his eyes glowed.

"S-Spike, NO!" Twilight said before he charged at her. She quickly stuck out both hands and conjured up a barrier to block his attack. Spike ran right into it, then began punching it repeatedly in order to break it. The force from each blow was starting to push back a terrified Twilight. Cracks in the barrier began to form; causing the alicorn princess to teleport away just as Spike broke through. Twilight reappeared a few feet away from him and conjured up some purple chains from out of the ground to hold him in place. Spike growled and struggled to get free while Twilight turned her attention towards Amethyst.

"S-Spike, SPIKE HELP!" she yelled as Twilight charged at her. To Tartarus with the consequences, Twilight going to make her pay for EVERYTHING she's done. Amethyst was tackled to the ground before being picked up and having her face come in contact with a tree. She was then thrown back onto the ground with Twilight standing over her. "W-When m-my father hears a-about this, y-you're gonna be......." Amethyst was cut off by Twilight's foot connecting with her face. Seeing Amethyst get beaten was causing an untold amount of rage inside Spike. Digging his feet into the ground, Spike pulled as hard as he could on those chains; bring up much of the earth as he could. With one loud roar, Spike was able to break free and made a mad dash for Amethyst; scooping her up right before Twilight to attack her again. Spike brought her to a safe spot a few feet away before turning back at Twilight. "Y-You see, Spike belongs to me." she said. "He'll do whatever I say, like a good little pet-slave."

"Spike's not a pet-slave!" Twilight yelled. "He's a......."

Twilight was quickly cut off by Amethyst's laugher. "Oh, that's super rich!" she said. "The pony who's been treating him like a pet-slave, is now claiming he's not one?!"

"What are you......" Twilight started but was cut off again.

"Don't play stupid." she interrupted. "I've seen first hand how you are around him. Anything you need done, you get him to do it. "Oh, Spike, take a letter. Oh, Spike, cook us something. Oh, Spike, our slumber party is girls only so you have to sleep outside." If Amethyst wanted to get under Twilight skin with that mocking tone of voice, it was working. "And what's worst, is that you've somehow got him to mark you; even though you have somepony already." Twilight quickly placed a hand over her shoulder where Spike marked her as a reflex. "Taking a page out of my book, and trying to make him jealous,aren't you?" Amethyst continued. "We really aren't that much different from each other. We both use this pathetic excuse of a dragon to get what we want out of him and then discard him when we're done."

"SHUT UP!" Twilight yelled. "HE'S NOT PATHETIC, AND I'M NOTHING LIKE YOU!"

"Oh, hit a nerve I see." Amethyst taunted. "Then tell me, why have him mark you?"

"That's none of your business!" Twilight answered; having enough of this conversation. Amethyst responded with another laugh.

"Find, don't tell me then." she said. "But let me guess, he entered his cycle for the first time and you decided to use yourself, instead of just giving him some whore, right, oh wait, I guess that makes you the whore, doesn't?" A purple aura quickly surrounded Twilight's body and she launched herself at the dragoness, only to be stopped by Spike who tackled her to the ground before picking her up by the neck. Twilight tried her best to break free, but Spike was too strong. The dragon was fueled by anger that somepony would dare hurt his mistress.

"S-S-Sp-ike." Twilight struggled to say. Spike answered her by releasing a low growl. "P-P-Please."

**************In Spike's Mind**************

Pitch darkness surrounded Spike. He could see, hear, feel nothing. All that was there was a dark void that his body floated in. He let out a groan before slowly opening his eyes, and made an attempt to push back against the darkness, but it was just too strong. He cursed himself for allowing Amethyst to take control of his body like that. Who knows what she's making him do right now, or what she's doing to him. Once again, Spike made an attempt to push back the darkness with his will, but barely made a dent in it. He didn't let that stop him as he summoned up the last of his strength to pushback against the darkness. This time he managed to make a small hole that allowed a beam of white light to shine through.

"L-Light." he managed to say. Slowly but surely, Spike started to make his way over. He peeked through the hole and was shocked at what he saw. His claw around Twilight's neck; squeezing the life out of her. "TWILIGHT!" he yelled. Just what in the Tartarus is Amethyst making him do?! Spike tried to tear open the hole; believing that it might be the only way to get free. He struggled to do so as he just wasn't strong enough. In front of him, Spike could see that Twilight was fading fast. He yelled her name again and attempted to make an opening. The hole started to get bigger, not by much, be it at least gave Spike a better view at what was in front of him. His eyes widen when he saw his claw let go of Twilight and she fell to the ground before his body turned to Amethyst who laughed before delivering a kick to her. Something inside the dragon snapped as he gritted his teeth and began to pull into the hole, this time, slowly pulling it apart.

**************In the forest**************

Twilight laid on the ground coughing and gasping for air while being kicked by Amethyst. Suddenly, Spike grabbed his head and roared in pain; stumbling around as the spell he was under was coming undone. Amethyst roll her eyes at this. "Still trying to resist?" she said. "Looks like i'll have to put some extra "oomph" into it." Amethyst place both claws on Spike's cheeks and forced him to look at her. "Open your eyes, baby." she said in a sultry tone. "I promise you'll enjoy it."

Spike did just that; opening his eyes and looking dead at the dragoness, however, his eyes were pitch black with blood red pupils. "You're right.....I will."

SLAP

With the back of his claw, Spike knocked Amethyst away sending her flying a few feet away. She soon rose up from the ground just in time to see Spike with a black aura and black lightning surrounding his body. Black smoke escaped his mouth and nostrils once he glanced over at Twilight still on the ground. His anger rose and he released a powerful roar that sent shockwave throughout the area before looking directly at Amethyst. "I'm done being nice." he said in a dark tone; slowly making his way towards the dragoness. "I'm done being merciful." Each step he took caused a small crater to form underneath him. "And....i'm DONE...WITH...YOU!"
