Spike's Mates

Fluttershy and Big Mac stood in the middle of the family orchard as late afternoon hit. "Big Mac?" Fluttershy said after a long period of silence. "T-Tonight, we're gonna do it with Spike."

"Hmm." he said as he felt her grab his hand. Fluttershy gave it a small squeeze as she thought about what was going to happen tonight. She's gonna give herself to Spike after he was doused with water. It scared her just thinking about what he was going to do to her once he's set off. She's already caught a glimpse of what he could do twice now. Once at their slumber party and again at the fairground in Baltimare where groped her. "I-If I do this, then we won't be able to be together until the end of the summer when Spike's cycle ends."

"Eeyup." he said.

"I know it's to help Spike, but I don't think I handle being away from you for that long." she confessed. Big Mac chuckled before slightly booping her on the nose. This caused her to forget about her worries as she knew it was only going to be temporarily. Once Spike's cycle is over, he can remove the mark and she and Big Mac will be able to be together again. Spike wouldn't keep Fluttershy all to himself when he knows she's with Big Mac, right. No, he wouldn't. Spike knew she and Big Mac were together, and that he'll do the right thing and free her once his cycle ends. Fluttershy chose to no longer think about what was going to happen tonight and instead spend when little more time she had with Big Mac. "So, what you gonna do after I leave?" she asked. A serious look appeared on the red stallion's face as he looked down to his left hand and made a fist.

"You're going to train?" Fluttershy asked.

"Eeyup." he answered.

"You're preparing to confront Stargazer, aren't you?" she asked.

"Eeyup." Big Mac answered with determination; clenching his fist. Stargazer wasn't like any of the ponies Big Mac fought in the past, he was actually very skilled in magic. The red stallion knew that if he was going to confront him, he had to be well prepared for it and not just go in gun blazing. His training will start as soon as Fluttershy leaves for Twilight's castle. He'll need to prepare both mentally and physically for the upcoming fight as he was sure Stargazer wasn't gonna hold back.

In a local bar, Blueblood held the bartender in a backroom where he interrogated him. "If I find out you've been harboring a fugitive......" he said.

"I'm telling you the truth, he's not here!" the bartender yelled. "I haven't seen him since yesterday!"

"Did he say where he was going?!" the prince asked.

"He only said that he was going to get back what was taken from him!" the bartender answered. With a growl, Blueblood released the bartender and stormed out of the backroom and headed to the front where Shining and the others were waiting for him. "Contact Stardust and Sunburst!" he said. "Tell them I want perimeters from here to Ponyville, also, we need to tell Celestia of the situation!"

"What's going on?" Pearl asked.

"That son of a bitch is on his way to Ponyville as we speak!" Blueblood yelled as he pulled out his phone. "If we act now, we could possible catch him before he makes it there!"

"Who are you calling?" asked Dizzy.

"I'm letting a certain somepony in Ponyville know of the current situation." he answered as he walked passed them and headed outside. Shining Armor did the same thing; pulling out his cellphone and calling up Stardust. They had to hurry; no telling how close or far Stargazer was from Ponyville.

Sentinel, Gravel, and Moonstone sat in the ruins of a diner that surprisingly was still active. Surrounding the building, were rows and rows of Sentinel's fanmares; all of which were eagerly awaiting for him to address them. "So what are you planning?" Moonstone asked.

"First, i'll lure that lizard away from the princess, then i'll make my move on her." Sentinel answered. Both Gravel and Moonstone stared blankly at the stallion as they tried to process what was said to them.

"You've tried that, and look what happened." Moonstone said. "You and Ebony were put in the hospital and over half the city was destroyed in the process."

"But I was so close to smashing that." Sentinel argued. " You have no idea how close I was. I can still feel the softness of her tits."

"You're obsessed, dude." said Moonstone. "You're gonna get yourself killed. Just accept the fact that it's not gonna happen between you two."

"NEVER!" Sentinel yelled. "NO MARE HAS EVER REJECTED ME! DO HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE! I'M GONNA MAKE PRINCESS TWILIGHT SPARKLE MINE EVEN IF IT KILLS ME!" In the corner of the ruined diner, sat a brown stallion sipping the last of his coffee. He looked over at Sentinel and the others and let out a heavy sigh.

"He'll never learn." he said before getting up to leave.

With the sun starting to set, Fluttershy and Spike were about to leave Sweet Apple Acres; Fluttershy giving Big Mac one final hug and kiss before leaving. That would be that last time the two of them would ever do that until the end of summer. Big Mac had given Spike a thumbs up; silently telling him good luck which confused the dragon. Spike had no idea of the events that were about to unfold later on tonight so just took it as Big Mac telling him that he and the others will be meeting online tonight for a raid. Grabbing his hand, Fluttershy led Spike away from Sweet Apple Acres just when Big Mac's phone went off.

"So, you coming by the castle later?" Spike asked.

"Yeah, but i need to stop by my cottage to get a few things first." Fluttershy answered with a slight blush. "Tell Twilight i'll see there soon, okay." Spike nodded as the two of them went their separate ways. Spike traveled through Ponyville watching ponies close up shop for the day. It didn't take him long before he came across Sugar Cube Corner where he saw Pinkie exit the building carrying a backpack. The pink pony's eyes lit up upon seeing Spike.

"Hey, Spike!" she called. Pinkie light jogged over to the dragon who did his best to avoid staring at her jiggling chest. Pinkie wrapped her arms around his; giggling as she did so. "You heading back to the castle?" she asked.

"Y-Yeah." he answered.

"Mind if I walk with you?" she asked. "I'm heading there also." Giving Spike's arm a slight squeeze, the two of them started walking off in the direction of the castle. Mrs. Cake looked out the window and saw them leaving; wishing them both good luck on what was about to transpire later. Upon reaching the castle, Spike and Pinkie saw a large carriage being carried by to pegasus guards flying through the sky on their way towards Canterlot.

"Hey, is that....?" Spike started.

"Looks like Celestia, Luna, and Cadence made it." Pinkie said. Spike had a confused look on his face. Was Pinkie expecting them to show up? Did Twilight know about it? Pinkie pulled on Spike's arm; practically dragging him all the to the castle where they entered. "WE'RE HERE!" Pinkie announced catching everypony's attention. Spike looked around and saw Twilight and the other mares along with Celestia, Luna, and Cadence. All the mares looked at him with smiles on their faces; leaving Spike to wonder what was going on.

"Welcome back, Spike." Twilight said.

"Hey, what's going on? A party?" he asked.

"Well......something like that." Celestia said with a giggle.

The full moon lit up most of the forest; making it a bit easier for the guards of Canterlot and the Crystal Empire to scan the area from the sky and ground. High up on a rocky cliff overseeing the search were Sunburst and a cream colored earth pony mare with a teal mane and tail wearing yellow guard armor. "Blueblood and Shining Armor will be here soon, Stardust." Sunburst said.

"Are you sure Stargazer's in the area?" she asked.

"Positive." he answered. "My magical detector is picking a strong reading close by. It has to be him." Down into the forest, Canterlot and Crystal Empire guards searched the area with the utmost caution. They weren't dealing with a normal criminal, they were dealing with a stallion who attacked the son of their ruler and the saviour of an empire. A stallion who've already killed some of their own in Fillydelphia. A stallion who won't hesitate to kill them if given the chance. They had to make sure not to give him that chance. Few guards ahead, trekked slowly and carefully when one of them saw something moving in the distance. At first he thought it was an animal, but then the figure started glowing an orange color. The guard pulled out a flashlight and shined on the figure to see who it was. He managed to see the figure's face for a split second before an orange blast was fired right at him. With quick reflexes, the guard jumped to the side as the blast zipped passed and exploded behind him.

"I FOUND HIM!" the guard yelled as he got up and gave chase. Nearby guards quickly joined in the pursuit; readying their weapons for the likely event they'll need to defend themselves. A bright light soon shined on Stargazer by the one of the Pegasi flying over head; making it that much easier for the guards to locate him. With a glowing horn, Stargazer fired at the pegasus guard; knocking him out of the sky. With the spotlight off him, Stargazer could hide from his pursuers, that is, if it wasn't for the fact that right in front of him were a group of guards waiting for him. Stargazer stopped running and prepared to attack.

"STARGAZER, YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!" yelled one of the guards. "GIVE UP!"

"Not on your life." Stargazer relied as both fists began to glow. "Which ends tonight." Stargazer fired two magical blasts from his fist; blowing up the guards in his way. This action caused extreme anger to the guards behind him. One of them leapt into the air with his sword and came down to deliver the a killing blow, but Stargazer quickly put up a barrier to block the attack. Letting down the barrier, Stargazer grabbed the guard by the neck and squeezed it hard. "You will not get in my way." he said before slamming him to the ground. Grabbing the guard's sword and holster, Stargazer now had a weapon to use against a certain dragon he hopes to come across. Turning around he saw more and more guards coming at him. Before moving on, he'll have to deal with them first.

Back up on the rocky cliff, Stardust and Sunburst watched intensively as they heard the sounds of a battle going on. "They've found him." Stardust said. "As long as they're careful, they should be able to take him down."

"Stargazer won't go down that easily." said Sunburst. "He'll most likely use every dirty trick in the book to get away. Not to mention that he won't hesitate to kill.....not even for a second."

*BOOOOOM*

A large explosion of magical energy could been seen in the distance. Stardust was sure that some of her subordinates were just killed. With anger building up, she gripped her sword and turned towards Sunburst. "Teleport us there, NOW!" she demanded. Reluctantly, Sunburst grabbed her arm, and with the glowing of his horn, teleported the two of them in the middle of a decimated area. Bodies of fallen ponies were scattered all over; some of them were still alive, the rest were unknown. Stardust couldn't control her anger any longer. "STARGAZER!" she roared as she charged at him. Unsheathing her sword, Stardust went for an attack against only to have him parry it with the sword he took from one of the guards. Both swords clashed against one another over and over until both wielders pushed against each other in a show of strength.

"S-Stand down, Stargazer!" Stardust demanded.

"Make me, bitch." he said before tripping her up. Stardust fell on her back; giving Stargazer the chance to deliver a killing blow. He wouldn't get the chance. Sunburst hit with a blast of magical energy; sending him into a tree. Stargazer growled as she recovered; charging at the orange unicorn who put up and barrier to block the oncoming attack. As Stargazer powered up to blast Sunburst into next week, Stardust ran up behind him and locked her arms around his waist. In one move, she delivered a strong suplex to the unicorn stallion; slamming him on his head. Stargazer roared in pain as Stardust took fighting stance. "Earth pony bitch!" he groaned.

"I'll say it again, STAND DOWN!" she said.

"And i'll say again, MAKE ME!" he said as he fired a magical blast at her and Sunburst; sending the two of the flying. After hitting the ground hard, Sunburst groaned in pain as he tried to stand up, only to be kicked in the face by Stargazer; sending him on his back. Stargazer soon made his way towards Stardust with sword in hand; the look he wore made his intentions clear. The earth pony mare moved to get her sword, but Stargazer kicked it away before she could get it. The unicorn stallion then stomped his foot on her; causing her to let out a yelp of pain. "I won't let anypony get in my way." he said as he prepared to deliver the killing blow to her. "See you in Tartarus."

*CCCRRRAAAACCCKKK TTTHHHUUMMM*

A large sound of thunder and lightning filled the sky; catching everypony's attention. "What?!" Stargazer said as he turned around and looked up. A strange object with lightning surrounding it was coming at him at a fast pace. Taking this chance, Stardust moved from under his foot and got away from him just as he put up a barrier to block the oncoming object. Once the object his his barrier, it caused a massive explosion on impact; breaking Stargazer's barrier and sending him flying off in a random direction. Once the dust settled, both Sunburst and Stardust looked up and saw that the object was an ax. "W-What is that?" Stardust asked. At that point, the ax lifted off the ground and flew into the hand of its owner.

"B-BlueBlood!" Sunburst said.

"Where the Tartarus is he?!" he demanded. "STARGAZER!" The prince was beyond angry right now. Most of the royal guards were either seriously injured or worse and the stallion responsible for it had gotten away.

"My prince." came Stardust's voice. Blueblood looked over to her and saw her on one knee. "Forgive me, I couldn't........"

"Don't worry about it." he said in a calm voice; although he was still angry.

"But he got away." she said.

"He won't get far." he said as he reached down to help her up. A slight blush appeared on Stardust's face, but quickly disappeared once Shining Armor, Dizzy, and Pearl ran into the area. "Shining, you, Dizzy, and Pearl tend to the wounded."

"What are you gonna do?" Shining asked.

"I'm going after that bastard." he said before walking off.
