Hey there... Okay, I already feel stupid for talking to my old camera like it's a living thing... No Griffin you have to stay positive this was your own idea in the first place.
Clears Throat It's been a while since I literally fell into the world of Equestria, and I'm recording my story on an old camera that I found. I prefer this to writing my adventure down on paper because it gives my story a personal touch. Plus, saves me a buncha bits on writing scrolls, ink, and quills. Guess I'll start off by giving a sorta introduction.
My name's Griffin, and I'm twenty-one-years-old. As you can see I'm pretty tall even compared to humans bout six feet. I have short spiky sow white hair that came as a loss of pigment when I was born. One of my eyes is black while the other's white doctors kinda couldn't explain this to me so not a clue why I landed on snake eyes in the gene bet.
Zooms Into Face I have this one-inch scar just above my top lip fraid I can't tell the story of how I got this little scratch bit too personal y'know. Now let's start off with the events that led to me falling into Equestria.
This black Fallout hoodie with the image of a pissed off snake I'm wearing plus the words tunnel snake rules is my original jacket from Earth. I'm wearing a black t-shirt under it that has a flaming skeleton flipping off a falcon. I have black jeans on and my favorite pair of black 'n' white converse shoes on this is the same outfit I wore back then. \
As you have probably picked up on I freaking love wearing all black makes me look pretty cool and edgy course it freaked a few people out. So pluses and minuses. Now then! Let's get on with the story of that fateful day.
On that day it was literally pouring down buckets of rain the kind of weather that makes someone want to wrap up in a blanket and watch a movie. Or read a book. You just snuggle up comfortably as the raindrops hit the windows in a soothing pattern that just calms you down. That wasn't the case for me, no, I preferred taking a nice long walk out in the rain.
Somehow those walks always seemed to wash away my rage when times got unbearable back at home with my family. And during that time things were especially rough. But that wasn't the most terrible part of the day my so-called family straight up disowned me in the blink of an eye in the worst way I could have imagined.
Now, I tend to have pretty hellish nightmares that make me a very heavy sleeper. I had a particularly nasty one in the afternoon that scared me awake after a constant struggle for five hours to keep my ground. When I got up and went outside my room... there was absolutely nothing. No furniture, and none of my family.
I walked around to see that most things had been moved certain items that wouldn't wake me up in the middle of my nightmare by causing noise. I searched the entire house from top to bottom until I found only a single note with just one sentence: "You need to be out of this house by 4:00 p.m, and don't bother trying to find use we don't need nor want you holding us down anymore."
Reading it didn't even phase me at this point I had already been through enough crap to expect this eventually. I walked to my room deadset on finally ending it see I had been planning that day for quite some time. I grabbed a large hiking backpack and filled it with some essentials that I had collected for my more reclusive walks.
I grabbed my Zippo Lighter making sure to keep it in an easily accessible pocket, didn't want a repeat of the wandering in the dark incident. I picked five of my barely working antidepressant prescriptions not that they mattered after what I was about to do. I grabbed two changes in the same clothes I was wearing shoving them hastily into the backpack.
I made sure to get my canteen, which I always kept water in never know when I need to take a quick walk. I grabbed my secret stash of a couple of joints and forty weed pills, hey they were the only things that brought me real joy back then don't judge. And finally my trusty butterfly knife I was all set. I certainly wouldn’t be missing this place anytime soon.
====== 5 HOURS LATER ======
I walked for a few hours around the small city I had explored all of my life. It wasn't something to write home about but this had always been a home to me at least. After reaching the five our point my feet ached so much that I had to rest on a nearby bench.
That's when I noticed that I was a few feet away from a bridge with tracks going under it not how I thought I would go still beggars can't be choosers. I stood up then paused for a moment to think, I know I've been planning to end it all but what would happen if I turned around... found something in my life then I would... be betrayed by someone else.
I had nothing in that world to live for so I leaned on the bridge of the railroad tracks feeling just worthless until I heard the chugging of a train coming.The only beneficial thing I could do for this world would just to end my life it was going to be mostly painless this way.
I was like a broken pane of glass, better to not waste everybody's time anymore with trying to fix me. I couldn't even help myself by this point so as the train came into view I mentally prepared myself for my final few moments.
I climbed onto the bridge railings backpack in tow who knows this stuff might come with me to the afterlife. Worked for the Egyptians, sorta, so why not try it now as my life is about to end. I waited for the perfect moment to jump with only a last few moments to go. Just jump and all of this cruel world will vanish. Why do I feel so nervous I've thought about this at least a thousand times? I thought to myself.
A group of people saw me standing over the railing, most began to try to talk me out of this one-way trip while the rest started taping my misery. I ignored every single one of them until I decided to send one final message to the world. As one of the people started edging towards me just about to yank me backward I swatted his hand away and fell.
Everything happened so fast the horrified screams of people was muffled and I saw a glimpse of the train as it was about to slam right into my body. I closed my eyes ready for the world to just vanish around me, I waited...
and waited...
and waited some more...
until I finally got the nerve to open my eyes only I didn't expect to see the sight of everything at a standstill. The train, the birds, the wind, even I was suspended in the air only able to move my eyes around. Suddenly a trap door opened under me and I fell through the mysterious wooden door. I heard it slamming shut behind me which changed my scenery to complete darkness..
CELESTIA POV
It was a beautiful day in Canterlot, and I was on my way to the dining room to meet up with my dear sister Luna. As I trotted down the halls of our castle, I began to wonder what this day will hold. Something eventful, hopefully, after all the tiresome novels.
As I arrived, I could hear Luna having her order taken and smiled. One of my little guards posted there opened the door for me and I gave him a warm motherly smile for a reward.
In the dining room, I saw Luna sitting on the right side of the table, sipping from her cup of coffee. She is wearing a royal violet dress with stars speckled throughout. My younger sister always did love the color violet for it matching her hair color.
Before I could greet her, however, a trap door opened right in front of me, out of nowhere. I immediately thought that this was Discord's doing as he often pulled pranks on us both. That was until we heard a creature scream so we jumped to our hooves quickly.
The said creature fell onto the floor through the trap door, knocking it unconscious. The trap door then slammed shut and vanished just as quickly as it had appeared in the first place. I ordered my guards to stand by and observe it just to make sure that it was indeed immobilized from the fall.
After a tense moment, it was clear that whatever this species was. Had been knocked down for the count, so I commanded two of my guards to move it to the medical wing of the castle and guard it outside of the door.
