Apple Bloom and her friends have just graduated from Canterlot High School and are ready to go to college. However, when she discovers that Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are going to different colleges, tempers flare among the trio. Meanwhile, Applejack is trying to save Sweet Apple Co-Op from going under, needing some new farm animals to make a profit. Fortunately from a stray spell of Equestrian magic, Applejack starts to see the college freshmen as suitable livestock to help out the farm.
