You know this story; somebody ends up somewhere and what not… well… that kinda happens except three people end up somewhere, but these ain’t your ordinary folk. These are the three of the meanest, deranged, dangerous killers… and possibly the closest members of our little posse. Name’s Arnold Ingine but you can call me A.I. for short, our story starts off another world – another reality – and like any story… it wouldn’t be a good one if it didn’t start with an action scene wouldn’t it?
The sounds of rapid fire gunfire and various other noises can be heard and seen whizzing by, deep in a city with buildings and skyscrapers that reach the heavens, deep in the filthy and decrepit alleyways was a gun-fight. The fight was between the local police and mobsters, but the one difference here is that they’re all ponies, with the cops wearing specialized leather armor with the symbol of a shield and wings.
The mobsters wore bandannas and some sketchy clothing on them and while the police – or Manehattan Guard as their called – only consisted of ponies, these mobsters had a mix of ponies and griffons with all of them wielding guns, swords or nothing and instead use spells or just duck for cover.
It was like any ordinary day in the city of dreams, where anyone can be anything… in this case, you either follow the law or don’t. A bullet whizzed by almost embedding themselves in the head of an almost unlucky mobster. “GET YOUR BUCKING HEAD DOWN YOU IDIOT!” A forceful push down was the response of the one yelling as she pushed one of her lackeys from having their brains painting the walls. “I TOLD ONE OF YOU MORONS TO MAKE SURE THE GUARD AREN’T COMING BUT INSTEAD YOU GET DRUNK OFF YOUR BALLS!”
The mobster leader nearly got shot but returned fire with her own weapon, firing off two bullets, one missing the other grazing the side of a guard. Returning back to cover, the mobster leader looked at one of her own a griffon with an eye-path covering his left eye.
“Trover get Lucky Shot and Headbash to the roof of this building and start taking potshots of these bastards!”
Nodding, Trover signaled to two ponies, an earth pony and unicorn who followed behind; the guard weren’t doing so well either, one of their own got shot and the main reason they were here was to stop what was suppose to be a drug operation when there was no drugs and instead the barrel of a very pissed off mobster.
“I knew that informant was shifty the second I saw him!”
“Quit your whining Gemshine! Iridescent Spark, how’s High Speed?!”
“He’ll live sarge, but not for long we need backup fast!” shouted Iridescent.
“Dammit! Corporal, go and get back up at the nearest guard station, stat!”
Nodding in turn, Corporal Wave ran back to get more help while Sergeant Bell Rang and PV2 Gemshine fired back, both being unicorns meaning they could fire while in cover while they levitated their weapons to fire back.
Their weapons were similar to flintlock pistols but held at least three rounds before needing to be reloaded, in between medieval style weaponry and colonial weaponry, this world had its various problems and whatnot but you must ask, “Why are you showing us this, is this important to the story?”… no, its not. I’m showing it for you to understand this is unlike any other world, so you’re not going see friendship, harmony and all that other bullcrap… well maybe but in the way you think.
Where our story will really take place… well… I can’t really say as it kinda gets screwy at this point; it started off like any morning… with a bang.
In another world, another reality – Living World; Coreronia; 7:00pm
It was silent as it should be in the impenetrable prison complex in Coreronia, quadruple guard patrols, turrets armed with tri-barrel machine guns and mechs that can crush an armored vehicle into a pancake. Itvasle Prison Cage also known as the ‘Hell House’ held the deadliest and brutal criminals across the continent of Coreronia and world-wide, within its walls was three particular criminals of a certain organization… an organization which was about to break-in.
The security guard lazily watched the cameras that zoomed and swiveled to watch for any movement or suspicious activity, the prison was quiet with the occasional yell or scream from a prisoner who was being tortured – whether for information or the entertainment of the guards. Watching the cameras, a certain camera catches his eye as he radios the nearest guard there.
“Section 2-B, check out Area 9-M, got some weird shit happening near you, over.”
The nearest guard approached the requested area but when he arrived he found nothing, before he left a voice stopped him. “Oy bugga, I got something to tell you.”
Turning around he faced one of the recently newest prisoners of the complex, with a sneer he approached as he landed his baton onto the palm of his other hand. “What you want prisoner?”
“Oy I gotta a name you twat – Maxwell Arvion III! But to you I’m called Mathree!” shouted Mathree.
“Whatever, now what you want or do I need to smash that jaw of yours?”
“Oh nothing, I just wanna tell ya that I’m getting outta this piss of a place you call a prison.”
“Oh? And what makes you think you’re getting out?” Before Mathree could answer, a massive explosion engulfed the prison guard in flames and shrapnel, all that remained was a burnt and scorched corpse that smelled of gunpowder and napalm.
“I was going to say the sound of you screaming but I guess the explosion killed you first before the flames,” said Mathree.
“That was actually the shrapnel that did it.” Stepping out of the new hole was two familiar figures, to the right was a slim man who wielded a custom-made grenade launcher and wore a custom-made helmet; the helmet was the awesome smiley face emoji with the helmet shaped to look like a bomb with a fuse stuck to the top with a lit flame burning. The other man who was also slim wore a helmet too that resembled a motorcycle helmet with the thin eye-slots that showed a blue eyes with black irises and golden shark teeth.
“Took you to get here, now get me outta here and let’s find the other two and skedaddle!” said Mathree.
“Quit yapping, I need to get this door open; hey Virus I’m at Killer’s prison cell, inserting that hacking bug now.”
Inserting a chip into the cell’s security pad, several beeps later the cell opens allowing Mathree to exit out. Stepping out was small child that was around his mid-tens – around fourteen – he wore prison clothes that consisted of a silver color. He had scraggly hair and green piercing eyes with a crazed look as his pupils were small as dots and he would have his tongue flicker out like a snake’s.
“Okay ‘Killer’, we’re going by our code-names, now where’s ‘Mistress’ and ‘Hunter’?”
“The she-bitch is somewhere in Section 1-A while the boss’s double is in Section 3-C; you and your bro can get her, I got him aight,” said Mathree.
Nodding, the two slim men ran down the path that led to two metal gates with the symbol of a one and capital letter A; Mathree looked down the other path that had more cell rooms and several other small doorways that led further into the prison. Time to get cracking!
Elsewhere in the prison, the two men who were the brothers known as the ‘Crane Brothers’ ran down the path. A radio that was held by the older brother, Rubert Crane the one who wore the motorcycle helmet was turned on before a voice was heard.
“This is ‘Virus’, did you and ‘Suicide’ do your part of the plan, over?”
“We did, we got ‘Killer’ free, he’s heading to ‘Hunter’s’ location while myself and ‘Suicide’ are heading to where ‘Mistress’ was last seen,” said Rubert.
“Alright then, your ETA out of there will be in 2000 hours; rendezvous at the highest point of the prison, over.”
“Roger that, over,” said Rubert. “Okay ‘Suicide’, let’s get going.”
“AH YEAH, TIME TO BLOW SOME SHIT UP! MWAHAHAHAHAH!”
Firing his grenade launcher, a random grenade was fired before blowing part of the prison, killing those nearby by the explosion or shrapnel. Rubert glared at his brother who simply shrugged and continued to run off and cause more mayhem.
Elsewhere, Mathree ran through the prison halls, taking down various prison guards barehanded with violent quick strikes, leaving behind a path of bodies, Mathree came upon Section 3-C of Itvasle; here the worse of the worse are kept and here is where the elite member of their ragtag group is kept.
He goes by “The Hunter”, he is also the right-hand man of their leader and is one of the top ten deadliest gunslingers in Coreronia. Going to the prison cell the kept one of their own inside, Mathree accessed the control panel. “Shit, how the heck do you open this thing?”
After trying to figure out how to open it, Mathree decides to take the easy route, shoulder-ramming into the panel and ripping out several wires before the doors opened up with loud clanking noise. Inside it was pitch dark, a single dim light visible that lit up a particular figure that was chained in the ground with several restraints on his wrists, ankles and neck. The figure looked up with purple eyes that glinted in the dim lighting.
“Hello sunshine, happy to see me,” said Mathree, spreading his arms open.
“...”
“Okay okay no need for the silent treatment, let me just get you out of these restraints.” Pointing one of his hands into a chopping motion, his hand glowed a green color before it was coated a metallic color. Chopping his hand downward he sliced through the chains before breaking the remaining other restraints, freeing his comrade.
Now free, the figure stood to his full height rubbing his wrists where the tight restraints were earlier. Moving his gaze toward Mathree, he gave a cold look before shuffling out of the containment cell. “What, no thanks?!”
The two step out only to meet face-to-face with an armed row of prison guards wielding various guns and stun weapons, pointed and armed toward the duo. Picking a random baton on the ground Mathree starts batting it against the ground with a dull thud. “So, two on fifty eh… a bit unfair… for your lot,” said Mathree, grinning. “What do you think Vallan?”
Vallan slowly looked down at Mathree before facing the armed guards, cracking his knuckles and neck with a loud snap. “...Focus on code-names...”
“Ahhh, that’s the spirit!” Both readied themselves, charging forward to pummel their way out; meanwhile, the Crane Brothers were approaching where to find the final member they needed to rescue, reaching similar cells like Mathree’s they reached one that was burst open and had several bodies spread about like pieces of art.
“Looks like she got out early,” said Rubert.
“So we good ooor-” Before Rubert’s brother could finish, several gunshots were fired where they stood, getting to some cover they ran into the empty prison cell as several guards armed with rifles came running to them.
As they got closer several grunts and thuds were heard, leaning over the edge, Rubert looked over from his cover and saw the guards were unconscious and splayed on the ground. Standing over them was a slim woman who had a piece of her prison outfit wrapped around her eyes, yet she could clearly tell where the bodies were as she stepped over them with a warm smile.
“Hello boys, let’s go, I got the toys that these boys took from us.” Pulling out from under her prison shirt was two dual guns, a knife and dagger, handing the items to Rubert before leaving the two. “Well come on now, we should go before more of these darlings come along.”
The woman walked away, swaying her hips seductively as she walked back to where they came from, both brothers looked at one another, Rubert’s brother shrugging and following behind. Sighing to himself Rubert followed but was stopped when a hand grasped his ankle, looking down one of the guards was still awake but looking up he saw the end of Rubert’s baton that had a taser on the end.
“You should of stayed down,” said Rubert, thrusting his weapon down. The sound of a man screaming and burnt flesh was the only thing that lingered in the prison hall.
After their little beat-down, Mathree and Vallan walked over the countless bleeding and bruised guards until they met up with the others. “So now we’re all here, what now?” asked Mathree.
“Didn’t ‘Virus’ said to meet at the highest point of this place, where may that be?”
“He did say that didn’t he… how much time we got?” asked Rubert, looking at his brother.
“NOT ENOUGH TIME THAT’S FOR SURE!”
“...Then we make our own exit; ‘Suicide’… blow this place to high kingdom,” said Vallan.
Grinning madly, he pointed his weapon to the ceiling, unleashing several sticky grenades. “TIME TO GO BOOOO-” A massive mushroom cloud explosion engulfed the prison, either killing or freeing the prisoners inside with sparse few guards running from the explosion. Stepping out of the dust was five silhouettes before an armored truck drove up to the five and stopped before them; opening the rampart in the back, the four of them entered inside with Rubert entering the empty driver’s seat, the armored vehicle being driven on auto-pilot.
“Good, you’re all inside and safe… to be honest I expected this outcome as there was no normal access to the rooftop, so I assumed Joseph blew up the prison.”
“I BLEW THAT SHIT UP!” shouted Joseph.
“Indeed… well head back to HQ, we’re going to find the bastards that ratted you three out.”
Sometime later – Living World; Coreronia, Psycho Corps HQ; 11:30am
The armored vehicle slowly rolled up into a crater the size of city, driving down a slope before crossing the bare empty land; the vehicle approached what looked like an empty mine, entering inside with no problems. Inside they came across a dead end, but after several seconds went by a loud clanking noise could be heard before the floor underneath began to lower itself to reveal itself as a platform, leaving the empty space above to close up with two camouflaged metal doors.
Once the platform lowered and stop, it came upon a vast open space – a cavern-like area – with several machines and facilities active and doing various things. Small robotic like drones flew by doing various things, not bothering to stop or block any of the other drones activities. The vehicle drove to what appeared to be a parking area for different vehicles; those inside exited out and made their way to the center of the cavern, where a metallic cylinder tower was that gave off a purple glow.
Working on what appeared to be various computer screens with different things visible on the screens – charts, maps, locations and various media news across the world – the person handling all of this turned around on his swivel chair and faced the arrivals.
“I see the mission was a success, good work team.”
“I’m assuming you sent these two jokers, where are the others A.I?” asked Mathree.
“Tim is out gathering more supplies for us while the Kel Sisters are on a mission, somewhere north I believe, in the continent of Valenia,” said A.I.
Before Mathree could continue speaking, Vallan stepped forward with his neutral gaze. “Where is the boss?” A.I. paused before turning to gaze at what appears to be some sort of massive hut on the edge of metal platform constructed by various junk. Climbing up the steps, the others went their own ways with Mathree and the woman heading to the armory to get their gear back on, leaving the Crance Brothers to do their own business; reaching the top of the steps, Vallan came upon a strange flat area with various pillars that looked to have scratch marks, with one pillar looking to have been partially melted recently.
“So your baaack...” Turning around, he came upon the silhouette of another figure who sat upon a bunch of crates with the groups logo on them. “Took you long enough to get out of that shite-hole… So, what madness should we inflict?”
“About that… we still have some loose ends from the mission you sent the three of us on, our original buyer back-stabbed us and took the item we tried to sell to him… we both know I don’t leave behind loose ends.”
“True true, I guess this means another murder spree I suppose; head where that retched fuck went to… I got some things to work on… The scent of blood is coming… Can you taste it, the taste of innocents?” With a sickening and psychotic laugh, the man leaned forward to reveal himself in the dim lighting of the cavern; the man was a complete duplicate of Vallan, but the differences began to appear after having the same face.
The man wore an eye-patch with the symbol of a capital L on his left eye, his clothing was ripped, torn, shredded, he wore a bandoleer full of knives, two sheathed scimitars were on his sides and carried a metallic backpack with various noises and colors coming from it. However, the greatest difference was his smile, it wasn’t a kind or nice smile, it held madness, insanity and the bloodlust of someone who wants to watch the world burn over and over again.
His laughed echoed as he seemed to enjoy his own inner thoughts of destruction and death, gazing psychotically with his one purple eye; Vallan didn’t flinch and simply turned around and left. “When you do meet our ex-buyer, tell him Locust said hello! AHAHAHAH AHEHHEHEEH HEHAHAEHAHEAHEHA!”
Elsewhere, sometime later – Living World; Coreronia; 6:45pm
Vallan, Mathree and the third member – the woman who also escaped from the prison, Loarven Swuen – had all their equipment on them and we heading to the last known location of where their ex-buyer was. The mission was simple and clear, kill the target and get the package back; the plan was simple and the chances of failure were non-existent… the only problem was why did their previous buyer stole the package from them.
They knew the package was just a simple item that can be easily bought in the black market, an easy catch-and-grab operation, so the idea of such an item was odd at best, but they been through odd. It made no sense for their buyer to betray them or any sense for that matter, they were notorious in Coreronia, the sort of organization to make a call as last resort or unless you wanted to make as much chaos as possible, subtle wasn’t part of their daily activities.
The trio arrived at their destination through public transportation instead of their own, as apparently their old buyer had kept a lookout for any of their signature vehicles. The one leading this operation was Vallan, who was equipped with his duel pistols, Blood & Spirit; Mathree and Swuen are both wielders of cleavers or knives but each using it in their own fighting styles.
Mathree was equipped with two massive butcher cleavers that were clipped to the back of his pants; Swuen had a single knife that she would absently spin around her palm, doing various motions as the weapon swung around her hand and arm.
After exiting from their transport, they moved with a crowd of people who needed to go to one place after another, the location of their target was a spiraling tower that seemed to reach the very heavens; the plan was for Swuen and Mathree to make a commotion at the main lobby, whilst Vallan found an alternate route to reach the upper levels.
“You two will make the building security to focus their attention in the main lobby, I will find another route to gain access the upper levels, I saw earlier that one of the nearby buildings under construction has a crane, I can use that to reach the upper levels. Are you both clear on your roles?” asked Vallan.
“We’re clear as rain, come on, let’s go cause us some mayhem!”
“Slow down you little demon, I swear I don’t even know why I try to deal with someone of your caliber.”
The two began entering the spiral tower, as they entered inside the first thing they saw was several armed security guards and a checkpoint with a metal detector placed. Approaching the checkpoint, both Swuen and Mathree entered through their own respective metal detectors, both devices blaring a red alarm. The nearby security guard approached Swuen, keeping his gun pointed down but giving a stern look at her.
“Mam, I need you to spread your arms wide open.” Swuen followed the guard’s orders but as he prepared to examine her, two knives appeared on her open palms, like the wind, both knives were plunged into the guard’s eye-sockets before the body was kicked away. Seeing his fellow guard taken down instantly, the one that was near Mathree pointed his weapon at him but found something directed to his neck.
The next second, a head began rolling before the feet of the remaining guards, all hell broke loose; bullets flew and rained above as the sounds of gunfire and screaming could be heard. Both Mathree and Swuen rushed forward and like a frenzied school of piranhas, what remained was the leftovers; the bodies were mutilated husks as limbs and heads flew high, blood stained the floor and walls, the bullets like the snowflakes from a snowstorm.
“Well… that went as well you could imagine, but now that we made a mess I guess we might as well take this upstairs,” said Mathree.
“You wished,” said Swuen, twirling her knife. “Let’s get this over with, I need to get the blood off my clothes.”
Giving a disgruntled sigh, Mathree reached into his vest and pulled out mask that covered his lower face and left eye; the mask was green with one red eye and red shark-toothed smile. Swuen also pulled out a mask; the mask only covered the eyes, was a dull gold color with the eyes crossed out with a third eye where the forehead was.
With a cheshire smile Mathree moved forward stepping into the elevator with Swuen, the two readying for the onslaught to continue. “Time to get this party started.”
Elsewhere, Vallan began to climb the crane in the construction side; he wore a purple bandanna and a pair of goggles with green lens; he climbed the crane with zero problems, once reaching the top he ran to the end of the crane’s arm, spotting the building he was to enter. Pulling a pair of binoculars that were made by Rubert, the goggles allowed him to scan an individual and the area they are in.
Looking through the binoculars, he spotted the target and the item he was to retrieve, putting them away he prepared to smash in. “This is ‘Hunter’, spotted the target and package, heading in.”
Pulling both his guns, he charged forth and jumped in midair toward the building, crossing both his arms together he searched deep within… and unleashed that power. Like a purple meteor, he came smashing through the window and a security guard who wasn’t paying attention, splattering him to the floor like roadkill.
Standing back up, he brought both guns up and fired two rounds into the heads of two more guards who fell back, quickly running to cover, a flurry of bullets was pounded against the pillar he hid behind, returning fire back. As the guards got closer and closer, Vallan twirled both his guns and sent a thought into his weapons.
Fire Mode: Auto. Ammo Type: Frostbite.
The gun created a clink noise before a robotic voice responded back to Vallan. “Proceeding with command, switching fire mode and ammo type.”
Stepping out of cover, he unleashed a wave bullets, the rounds impacting with the two guards with the specialized rounds, covering them with ice that slowly encased them inside a frozen prison. Some of the rounds impacted and covered the area; peeking from some cover was the target and before he could crawl away, the elevator doors revealing Mathree and Swuen. The second Mathree saw the target, he kicked him in the face, knocking him out cold.
“Welp… that was easy,” said Mathree. “I thought I was going to knock out heads and chop some fuckers.”
“We still need the package, would have been easier if you didn’t knock him out,” said Swuen. “You know where it is ‘Hunter’?”
Looking around, Vallan noticed something… off about a certain part of the room; approaching the anomaly, he discovered some sort of distortion was hiding something. Reaching his hand forward the distortion disappeared, revealing some sort of device; the device hummed with energy which was being power by the package, a purple crystal.
The device looked familiar, it was circular shaped with a platform, a familiar energy seemed to be coursing through the machine, a very familiar energy. “We need to leave.”
“What, but the package is right there, just grab it and-”
“WE NEED TO LEAVE, NOW!”
Just at that exact moment, the device turned on with a hum, a sudden force pulling anything nearby to it, pieces of the ice began being absorbed to the device like a blackhole when a swirling mass of darkness appeared. Everyone tried to hold their ground, the force getting stronger and stronger; the target was beginning to wake up and when he saw what was happening… he began to laugh.
“AH HA, IT’S WORKING!”
“What the fuck did you do you piece of shit!?”
“I was given the blueprints of this device by a stranger that approached me, it said it was capable of opening a gateway to another world, another place! Finally my dream to leave this wretched world has finally come, now I can finally-” Before he could finish, Vallan lifted his weapon and fired a single shot through his eye, killing him in an instant.
“The only thing awaiting you is death.”
“Finally, thought he would never shut-up,” said Swuen.
“OY! Don’t we have other things to worry about!?”
Gazing at the swirling darkness, Vallan readied himself and gazed at his comrades. “All I can say… you might feel a bit of vertigo.” As the darkness sucked them in, the whole building vanished into absolute nothingness, all that remained was stone and dust.
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere – Equestria; 12:00am
The sound of static and distant sounds could be heard, but slowly Vallan’s vision came back to him and the first thing he saw was the starlit sky. He gazed at the night sky with trepidation and caution, the fact he was on the ground, somewhere he doesn’t know confirms the fact that he’s in another world, this wasn’t the first time this has happen.
He has encountered various egotists thinking they can travel between worlds, but the capabilities and tech required doesn’t exist… well, none that they would know of, not unlike Vallan’s organization. Getting up, he looked around his surroundings and saw various junk that came with him from his world, none that was worthwhile and useful. Looking around even further he spotted the body of the target they were after or what was left, approaching the body he pulled out a lit match and tossed it in, watching the body burn. This may be another world, but can’t leave any evidence behind.
Continuing further down the desolate area, he spotted a cliff, walking toward the edge… he got a view of his surroundings; he was somewhere in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by sand and more sand, in the distance was some mountain formations but they were far apart from each other and there didn’t seem to be any nearby settlements… none that could be visibly seen.
Vallan searched deep throughout the endless sea of sand… and felt it, it was small but there were flickers of life energy cluttered together in one spot within this desert, the speckles of aura were signs of living beings, a possible town but a town of what exactly.
Knowing where to go next, Vallan picked up what was nearby and his own belongings and made his journey down the cliff-side; it was going to be a long night.

They're back and this time they're staying; this story is inspired and based off one of my previous stories - Insanity Has A Price - completely different from that one with the same old gang of psychos, but focusing on only three of them this time around.
Held in a completely different Equestria, it may be the same as the one you know but there's something different... something... else that's coming.
