Hey kon here well this is my first story and yes I’m sorry for my terrible grammar. Writing isn’t my best but I like to do it anyways this is my first story and please comment and give me a few tips to write better. Operation: Equestrian Assault
Chapter one: Covenant Invasion
Luna was out on the balcony raising the moon, but she had a bad feeling that something was coming toward them, Celestia sees her sister worried.
Location: Orbital Defense Station, Earth’s orbit
“Spartan-107 you are needed at the drop-pod section B-4 at once.” The intercom announced as the oversize human ran to the room. As he arrived there already in the room was Sergeant-Major Johnson along with Master Chief John-117.
“Son we called you because as you know the Covenant bastards have found a new planet that they will us the resources there to make a new weapon. Your mission is to explore the planet and see if you can negotiate with the people living there.”
Location: Counter Earth’s orbit/ Germaney , Equestria
Five Covenant corvettes enter the planet, the first country they reached was Equestria the ponies of the land just looked at the strange vessel. Wondering if they were friendly or foe they were over Germaney. They saw the middle of the vessel glowing in a split second the corvette glasses the city. Troops began landing and the royal guard was launched to fight, but the basic armor was no match for the plasma base weaponry.

Location: Entering counter Earth’s orbit
Two days since the launch Dan was talking with his A.I will he was waiting to enter the atmosphere.
“Lucy I know that we are facing something different but we have to do this we can kiss this world goodbye and our race will go straight to hell.”
“107 I understand but you know I do not want to do this mission” she argued back.
“Well too bad cause you are stuck with me till this mission is over.”
“Very well I have no choice but I’m going in to sleep mode for five days after that you can wake me when you really need me”
“Alright then I’ll wake you up.” As 107’s pod entered the atmosphere some Covenant troops thought that his pod was a meteorite that was falling on the night sky. But what he was not aware of is that the coordinates his pod had was about a mile away from Ponyville where the war has not touch the town yet but as they all know the war will come very soon. Most of the residents have left the town to get away from the war but some stayed behind.
“Ahhh Twilight something landed near the Everfree forest!” the small dragon shouted. The purple unicorn was asleep but she woke up immediately and told her assistant Spike the dragon to call the rest of the elements.
“Looks like the atmosphere of this planet contains oxygen and the gravity is the same as the Earth. I better check my weapons as well to see if they are working properly. He checked his assault rifle and then his pistol, but for the pistol he had to shoot a bullet just to be sure. When he shot the bullet Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash got scared and she said.
“That’s it I’m not going to be killed by an oversize ape!” she flew to Danny as her attempt was to tackle him down.
Clank! 107 turned around and said “What the hell?” Rainbow was rubbing her head thinking that tackling was a bad idea.
“Ouch what the hay is this thing made of?” Dan picked her up by one of her forelegs just looking at her. “Hey let go of me you fucking oversize gorilla!” she shouted at him as she was hitting him with her hoof and Dan was confused that she was mistaking him for a Brute.
“Oversize ape? What you think that I’m a …” Dan was bucked by Applejack’s brother Big Macintosh. Dan dropped Rainbow and looked at the red stallion then Applejack shouted at him.
“Hey nopony hurts my friends!” 107 picked himself up and looked at the red horse. Her brother charged at him again this time Dan countered him, pinned him on the ground and struck him on the gut. Big Mac was hurt and injured on the ground. “Big Mac!” then he drew out his magnum at the ponies. He looked at the ponies as they just stood and a long silence came along. He noticed that they were all terrified. Then he sighed and walked to the injured horse as he took out his med kit. Applejack thought that he was going to finish him off.
“Hey what the hay ya doing to ma brother?!” as she jumped on him as she look in shocked that he was healing him.
“There just stay laying here or you will feel this pain tomorrow and it will be worse do you understand me?” it took a while for him to nod but he laid his head on the ground. He stood up and walked away. Twilight shouted.
“Wait excuse me sir!” as Twilight shouted at him “Where are you off to?”
“Where? Are you serious I’m off to fight the Covenant that is why I’m here?”
“Wait what is a Covenant?”
“You don’t know what the Covenant is. Then who do you think you are fighting.”
“Wait the aliens is called the Covenant.”
“No each alien has a specific name for their kind, but yeah the Covenant is the name of their military.
“Then why are you here?”
“I’m here to fight them.”
“You fight them are you kidding me we need a miracle not one thing!” 107 looked at her and he walked up to her and said.
“Well too bad because I am the miracle.”
“Oh ok… I thought you were joking… but I only have one more question for you.”
“Tell me lavender”
“Um… are you alone or do you have an army along with you?”
“For now I’m just alone but the UNSC will come along in abo…” he was cut off by a brute shot round. “Shit they found me take cover I will handle them!” one of the Brutes shouted.
“Demon! You will not stop us on this plant!” He threw a spike grenade. The Spartan grabbed it and he threw it back killing a Jackal and two Grunts. 107 then took cover behind his pod he looked back making sure that the others were taking cover. Then he looked back as he heard a suicide Grunt running toward him he reacted fast and kicked the small alien back one of grenades landed on a Brute the explosion killed three Brute Minors and the other just broke his armor down. Then the armored human jumped out of his cover and he began shooting the remaining Covenant troops with his assault rifle. He drew closer to them. One Brute tried to strike him, but he duck and he struck him with the butt of the rifle and he stuck him again with his fist. When he turned he was hit by oversize hammer.
“You thought I would let you live. I shall feast upon your remains! ” the oversize gorilla shouted at him. And 107 said to himself.
“Shit a chieftain. I don’t have time for this I have to get to the other pod.” He got up and he dropped his rifle and he drew out his knife and he turned it upside down getting ready for combat. They stood from each other and the ponies looked to see what was going to happen. Rarity said to Twilight.
“Um Twilight this is your definition of a miracle this soldier is just as bad as these alien ruffians.”
“Hey what do you prefer that his military comes to our world to fight these aliens or for them to come and destroy us too?”
“Well you do have a point.” They looked back at the two aliens and the two charged at each other as the Chieftain swing his gravity hammer Dan slide under it. While the ape tried to gain his balance 107 sliced the back of the Brute’s right leg as he fell on his knee; the super-soldier turned him around and stabbed him right on the head killing him instantly. His energy shield recharged as he turned to the ponies that looked at him scared so he said to calm them down.
“Look I’m not her to hurt you ok I’m here to help you.” Now they felt relieved that someone else is an enemy to the Covenant. Twilight said to Dan
“Thank you for saving us now with you here we feel safer knowing that you have fought these things.”
“Look um…”
“Oh sorry I forgot to tell you my name I’m Twilight Sparkle and these are my friends.”
“Ok Twilight look I have been fighting these assholes for almost thirty years all that my kind wants is for this war to end but we will not surrender to the prophet.
“Thirty years! You have been fighting the Covenant for thirty years?!”
“Yeah” 107 walked to the dead Covenant Troops looking for grenades then about five minutes later Princess Luna landed and looked at the armored thing then Twilight called for her.
“Princess Luna what are you doing here.”
“Well Twilight Sparkle we are here to escort you to Canterlot. My sister needs your assistances at once.” Then she looked at 107 again and Twilight noticed.
“Oh sorry your highness this is um… well he comes from another world and he has fought these aliens for almost thirty years.”
“So thy is the one that has fallen to my world.” Confuse on the kind of English she was using but at least he can understand her.
“Yes I am.”
“Very well now we would like to know the name of thy warrior or what are thou?”
“I am Lieutenant Spartan-107 from the United Nation Space Command Marines. I am a Spartan Super-soldier and I am here to help you fight the Covenant.” Confused Luna stood across from the Spartan wondering why he wanted to call his by a number. The elements stood across from Luna and the metal biped and Twilight noticed that Luna was wearing armor different from the royal guard.
“Princess Luna what are you wearing your highness?”
“Oh you have noticed my armor. Well as you can see we are wearing the Elite Royal Armor. This kind of armor has not been used since the War of the Known World. This armor in particular is ours but it had to be modified since our banishment to the moon and we grew. But now it is ready for battle. All of the troops in Canterlot have now been equipped with this armor. Including Celestia and your brother Twilight Sparkle.” Dan stood just watching the ponies communicate which was actually reminding him of the humans back home.
“But your highness we have seen how the armor handles with the enemy’s weapons how is this armor any different?” All of the ponies were wondering how this armor was unique.
“Well as we will explained the armor has a magical shield that can take the enemy’s weapons and more damage than the traditional one the Guards use, similar to the ones that the gorillas use.” Then Applejack said.”
“Not to forget the one 107 uses as well.” Luna looked at him and asked.
“Your armor uses shielding too.”
“Yes but the only difference is that my shields are energy not magic.”
“We have realized that when we first attacked the enemy but we want to know how much damage can our shield take and we would like you to test this knowing that you can fight these things on your home.”
“So how do you want me to help you” he said curiously
“Well our shields can take damage for the ape’s weaponry as we stated before but we want to know how much damage can in take in close combat so we want you to strike us.”
“What? Whoa I only fight the Covenant not royalty!”
“Well if you won’t attack us then we will attack you until your instincts kick in.” She used her fore legs to strike at the human but her attacks only did minor damage to him, but after a minute she turned around and bucked him causing more damage which surprised him she continued to buck him until Dan grabbed her and stuck her toward her face but the body shield took the impact.
“Holy shit princess I’m sorry my instincts kicked in and I” the dark sapphire alicorn shook her head and said.
“Not to worry my ally as this is what we wanted to test. It seems that the shields can take weaponry attacks but not very well with physical impacts.
“Well now that we are all settle I have to go.”
“Wait where in the hay you think ya going at this hour into the forest?” the orange mare asked in her southern accent.
“Well if you did not notice I have to get to the other pod before my military come thinking that I have been killed and a full assault battle starts here as well.”
“But 107 it is dark and the forest is not save.” Twilight said to him.
“Not safe Twilight the forest is not safe with me inside there.”
“But what about the creatures in the forest?”
“I have faced far worse creatures in my time exhibit A.” As he was pointing at the group of dead Brutes. Then Luna said.
“Twilight you and your friends go back to the town my royal guard are waiting for you at the library with your armor as well. Prepare yourself all of you, because his war is now ours. I will accompany our alien ally.” The night princess said.
“Yes your highness come on girls let’s go, AJ I’ll help you with your brother.” As the purple mare went to help her friend with the injured stallion.
“Thank you Twi. Good luck princess and I think you too 107.” As the both took their separate way Dan has just noticed that he only had slightly over two days before UNSC fleet arrives.

Location: Everfree Forest
Luna and 107 walked to reach the pod. While they walked Luna was asking a lot of questions about Dan’s race. He told her about their diet, history, and most importantly the history of war in human history. He told her about the Human-Covenant War. How his kind has been fighting for almost thirty years. They were about three miles away from the pod they were both unaware of the defense of Covenant troop in the perimeter. A jackal was in sniper position aiming at Luna and 107. The alien was aiming at the Spartan but changed target to shot Luna thinking she will be easier to kill. They both were walking and heard a beam rifle shot and hit the alicorn on the top left side just slightly missing her wing.
“LUNA!” as he shouted and jumped covering her as 107 was being hit by plasma rounds.
“Kill the human we cannot let him reach the pod.” Dan placed a drop shield around the injured pony and tuned to the enemy.
“Luna I want you to stay inside the shield and if they get too close shot them with your horn ok.” He ran toward the Covenant as he pulled out his SMGs. On Brute tried to strike Danny with the blade of his Brute Shot. 107 crouched before it hit him and he struck the brute in the gut and then he upper cut him. He turned and he began to shoot at a pair of jackals. Brute stuck Dan from behind and another grabbed his left arm. With his leg he kicked the ape and the shot the other one.
“Luna I have to heal you. You’ve been hit by a beam rifle round or the wound will get infected. But I’m not going to lie the treatment will hurt as hell ok.”
“As you say human heal us. We want to fight we will not lose our world to some oversize apes they have to kill us first.” He looked as she dropped her head on the floor Dan applied the biofoam on the injury he saw Luna go through the painful treatment but her injury was covered by the foam. He bandaged her around her body.
“There now rest do not but on your armor till tomorrow ok Luna.” He was about to leave to the entrance of the cave but Luna grabbed his arm with her hoof.
“Please Dan before you leave sit by me.” Dan was lost by Luna’s beautiful moderate cyan eyes. He sat next to her.
“Now before we continue with our quest may I see the face of my savior?” Surprised that she wanted to see his face he normally does not remove his helmet to people he doesn’t trust, but for some reason he already did. Dan removed his helmet as Luna was shocked by the outcome of the alien’s face but know she can relax knowing that his face was gentle. Luna fell asleep on the soldier’s leg resting while she recovered from her injury by the strike defense team and he said to himself.
“Rest Luna as for tomorrow we need to reach the pod or the UNSC will come with full force god help both of our worlds.”
Location: Everfree Forest
Luna put but on her armor but she was still hurt from last night but the wound was close. They both ran to the pod Dan ran past Luna trying to reach it before the deadline of the UNSC closes. Dan reached the pod and placed his hand on the scanner to contact the fleet. While he waited to warm up he opened the pod and loaded a Warthog inside. Then the computer was ready for using.
“This is Spartan-107 contacting the UNSC Orbital Defense Station Orion do you copy. I repeat do you copy?” it took a while for him to get a response but the signal went through.
“This is Jorge Stronghold Captain of the UNSC Orion Station what do you have for use Lieutenant?”
“The Covenant is on this world and the natives are well… you’ll find out when you arrive but it looks like military support will be needed after all.”
“Consider it done 107.”
“Okay Spartan out.”
“One more thing Spartan.”
“Yeah.”
“Last night we sent an oversize drop pod to these coordinates.”
“Why?”
“We have scanned a high level of plasma. We figured if levels are that high then a Corvette is in the area.”
“What’s in the pod?”
“You’ll find you once you open it.”
“Ok Spartan out.” He looked and he saw the night princess pinned a grunt to the wall.
“Tell us what you mean plans for the white one tell us now we demand you to tell us!”
“We have orders to kill the white one when we take the city what other thing are we going to d…” a concussion beam hit the
“Luna come on if you want to save your sister than come with me I’ll get you home. Now let’s go we can’t loss ant more time. The two got on the hog and drove off to Canterlot.
“Very well.” The entered the Warthog. Spartan the fastest way to Canterlot is through this tunnel.” As he drove he noticed the enemy was behind them.
“Luna we have Ghosts on our tail. I need you to hold the car steady while I take them down.”
“How I have no hands?”
“Just hold the wheel and make sure it’s going straight if you need to maneuver around obstacles than do it.
“Ok.” As Luna entered the driver’s seat Dan armed the turret. Four Ghosts were firing at them. He aimed the gun at them and he shot at the Grunt knowing that it will be the easiest to fall. When it fell the vehicle just stopped one Brute managed to get close and he rammed the side of the car. Luna shouted.
“Hey!” she charged he horn and she shot the ape but she only made his helmet fall off of him. 107 turned the turret to the Brute and he shot him on the head the body fell left and the Ghost turned as well crashing on the side of the tunnel wall. Another one was closing in so the Spartan jumped on the Ghost and he struck the alien forcing him to accidentally activate the thrusters and passing Luna. 107 grabbed a grenade and he forced it through the front of the Ghost and he jumped off. He slid on the ground the last Brute passed by Luna using the thrusters of his vehicle he was about to hit Dan but he evaded out of the Ghost’s course. It turned around going back to the soldier he evaded again but this time he crashed into the Warthog. The armor of the car was able to shred the small floating vehicle. Luna stopped and she said.
“Spartan is thou ok.”
“Yeah I’m fine.”
“Sorry about thy car.”
“Don’t be the hog is designed to do that to Ghosts.” He walked to the Warthog and the Alicorn moved to the passenger seat.
Location: Canterlot
“Your highness the enemy is near the force field we need to send the guards with the new armor if we are to win this war.” The captain of the royal guard Shining Armor giving her Intel of the Covenant forces.
“They are ready send them in we have to hold this position.” She looked at the sky not even the Wonderbolts were able to keep up with the speed of the Banshees but the armor did help take some damage from plasma rounds. Rainbow Dash was flying using a crossbow with the tip made of diamond and dragon scales attached with explosives.
“What the hay these guys just keep on coming out of nowhere.” Rainbow said to herself, she was exhausted from fighting for hours. Twilight and Rarity were shooting concussion beams at Grunts, Jackals, and Brutes. But Brutes and Hunters took more of their strength out of them. Pinkie and Applejack were in the frontlines with the armor on their side it has helped them fight. Fluttershy was given infirmary position she was the fastest nurse of the position one nurse can care for three injured in 15 minutes, the yellow Pegasus and care for ten in 15. One banshee was making its way to Celestia a fuel rod plasma missile hit the balcony she was on but she dodged it and she bucked the flying device on the side making the driver lose control and crash to a building.
She landed near Twilight and Shining Armor suddenly three large shadows appeared. Three corvettes started shooting down on the city destroying the land faster.
Dan was driving as he noticed the corvettes he drove into the city while he told Luna to lower her head. He drove through the battle maneuvering obstacles. He saw the castle was now being attack and the doors were being broken down by Hunters. The soldier took out his Spartan Laser and shot both of them the Brutes saw the familiar car driving through the field. Dan drove up to a hill and told Luna to aid his sister.
“But what about you.”
“Forget about me go help your sister. I have some aliens to catch up with.” He placed his helmet on and his shields charged up.
Location: Canterlot, outskirts of the city
Dan found the oversize pod that Stronghold informed him about. He stopped the car and he placed portable Covenant shields around him about 10 feet away the center of where he was. He was getting ready as the enemy approached. The first he saw were grunts he took two SMGs and began shooting at them. Heretics were second in line taking out some of the shields he evaded the rods but one hit the hog he looked and the hog was flying in the air he jumped out of the way as the hog fell to the ground and exploding one more time after his evading he turned to find that a Brute infantry were now approaching. He dropped his SMGs and he drew out his Assault Rifle as he charged at them.
Luna met her sister on a balcony while she was shooting banshees down from the sky. Then she turned to see that how one soldier was able to stand against so many. Dan was hit by a fuel rod and his shields were out he still fought back the threat. The Covenant turned around away from the castle now knowing that the Spartan was the bigger threat. Dan noticed the troop’s movement he picked up a Fuel Rod from a dead Grunt and he shot a building that the Covenant was under of the blast the side of the building cut off their route. Now was the time to bring in the big gun, corvettes were now launching Spirits and Phantoms to his position. He only had a few seconds before more Covies approached him. He ran to the pod and he placed his hand of the scanner.
“Hand identification Spartan-107. Inside is a MAC gun.”
“A MAC gun?” the walls of the pod fell as the Spartan moved from their direction. He climed on the ladder and he activated the gun. “Now time to get rid of these corvettes.” He shot the blast of the MAC gun hitting the side of one of the ship he charged up the gun again to hit the center. The center blast went right through the Corvette but I was still in the air. Looking at the damage done he charged the gun one more time but he was hit by a Wraith. The glass of the cockpit took the hit. Then a Chieftain climbed on the Drive and he broke the glass of the cockpit and threw Dan out. He got up and he tackled the ape to the floor, another climbed on and he hit him with his gravity hammer.
“We can’t let you live demon.” The ape on the floor said as he was getting up.
“Ok you want to fight I’ll give you one.” he pulled out an energy sword and jumped on one stabbing it in the chest. The other swing the hammer but Dan countered the attack and he hit him on the back of the leg and he stabbed the blade through the ape’s gut. He climbed back on the cockpit but the controls were damaged he tried to do a quick repair but now he was being bombarded by Phantoms and Banshees. One hit him making him fall down but he grabbed on to the ladder refusing to back down.
Suddenly a fleet of Pegasi flew to protect Dan’s attempt to destroy the ships. As he got in the controls the corvettes were now over them and on charged its ejector beam at them. He heard a charging sound and out of nowhere a Mac blast hit the corvette causing it to fall sideways he turned to see that the three UNSC Frigates have arrived and approaching the enemy ships. Luna was about to fly up to one but Dan told her that they were allies the UNSC are here to help.
“Luna wait!”
“What do you mean wait three more ships appeared.”
“Those are my ships. The UNSC has arrived.” She looked in the air as she saw smaller ships flying to the remaining

Date: October 23, 2552
The four made their way to the town Twilight asked 107.
“So Dan when did you joined the military?”
“I was six and I didn’t join I was abducted.”
“What what?!”
“Yeah.”
“Wh…why.”
“That’s classified.”
“Ok how did you get this strong? I saw other humans fight they are not as strong as you.”
“Twilight I’m a Genetically-engineer Spartan super-soldier.”
“Genetically-engineer like they messed with your body parts to make you a better killer.”
“Well I would have used soldier but ok.”
“Well I will say this at least your using your strength to defend your kind.” The approached the town and the place was
“Well at least the ponies have not screamed…” she was cut off by a mare shouting.
“AHhhhhhhh it’s Nightmare Moon!”
“We spoke too soon.” Then the lights of the buildings began to turn on and the ponies popped their heads out of the windows and they all shouted then Twilight shouted.
“Stoooooooooop!” they all looked at her and then she continued. “Thank you look this is not Nightmare Moon this is Princess Luna sister of Princess Celestia. How do you ponies not remember her from Nightmare Night.” They all still looked in fear as they stared at the humans. “Ok why are you still looking in fear.” A green mint unicorn said.
“B…b…be…because y…you are being followed b…b…by those two things.” She looked back.
“Oh I forgot about them. Ok listen up as you heard about Germaney and Canterlot we are under attack by aliens. And this two are humans and…” the green mint unicorn said.”
“Wait humans? she said happily as more ponies walked outside.
“Yes Lyra humans. Look the humans are here to fight off the aliens that are attacking us since they have been fighting them for almost three decades. And they need to find the troops that fell from the station from orbit.”
“Awsome.” Lyra said.
“Look we need to get going you can meet more humans after we find the survivors.” They all walked passing the crowd. “So Lieutenant how do we find these drop pods?”
“Well they all have a beacon and on my HUD I have four of them so I think the best way to retrieve our survivors faster is that we split into teams.”
“Ok I think I’ll go with Michael to find the first two and you and Luna will take the other two.”
“Ok. Come on princess we the faster the better.” Michael said.
“Wait I saw more drop pods why are we going after four?”
“Those four are the closest to our position. Other UNSC bases will send for the other pods.”
“Oh ok.”
“You have your sniper?”
“Yeah.”
“Perfect now let’s get going.” The four took their paths.
Twilight and Michael:
The two took the path to a swamp where two of the four pods landed about thirty feet from each other. The Helljumper looked up and he saw a Spirit on patrol.
“Fuck Twilight take cover now!” the two ran to hide under a tree. The lavender pony asked.
“Why aren’t you shooting them?”
“Are you funcking crazy that thing will tear us apart.” He looked up as the vehicle passed them. “Ok let’s go.” They continued to their destination. They walked and the human noticed that the pony was walking in fear. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing it’s just that the Everfree Forest the animals are cruel and the clouds move on their own.”
“Really the clouds in our colony move on their own all the time.”
“Re…really.”
“Yeah.”
“Oh.” Michael looked on his HUD and he saw that the beacon signal was near.
“Twilight were close.” As they walked the dirt turned into mud. He looked down. “Shit Twilight we have Covies in bound.”
“How can you tell?”
“Those are Brute footprints.” Michael placed his sniper on his back as he pulled out his SMG. The walked as they heard gunfire. “Fuck they found the troops.” Then they heard a roar. “Wh…what the fuck was that?”
“I…I think that was a hydra.”
“A what.”
“A hydra.” He turned away from the pony as he continued to walk the path as they approached a hill. He began to crouched down and he looked over. “See told you a hydra.”
“Looks like the Covies are fighingt that hydra.” A Chieftain jumped in the air and hit one of the hydra’s head. As he was landing one of the other head bit the Brute from his arm and the other bit his head tearing him into two. “Fuck not even the Chieftain could take down that thing.” He turned back and the Covenant troops were all dead as the hydra returned to the other with one dead head. “Come on let’s go.” They walked for ten minutes as the approached the pods.
“Hey loo…” a bullet hit the tree she was passing by. Michael shouted.
“Hey friendly.” On Marine said.
“Sorry we saw a Spirit pass by we thought that it dropped of troops.”
“It’s ok but have your lights on ok. How many troops are here?”
“Well this pod had eight troops plus the pilot and the other only had six plus the pilot.”

Dan-107 and Princess Luna:
Luna and Dan walked into another part of the forest the two pods landed near the Castle Ruins of the Royal Pony Sisters. Dan just got a call from Michael.
“Lieutenant we have the troops from the life pods.”
“Perfect now escort them to the town.”
“Ok.”
“I’ll contact you when we are making our way back to town with the rest of the survivors.”
“Ok. Helljumper out.”
“Come on Luna we can’t waste any more time.”
“Ok Spartan. Um…human how do thou keep fighting?”
“What do you mean?”
“How do thou keep fighting when your kind has lost twenty billion lives?”
“Hope Luna.”
“Hope?”
“We humans have hope on many things. And for one thing we won’t quit until we when the war or until the last human falls.”
“We see.”
“Yeah. I like how you talk.”
“What dose thou mean?”
“You still use old English. My species hasn’t talked like that in centuries.”
“Well I was imprisoned for a thousand years.”
“For what?”
“Well you heard the ponies shout Nightmare Moon.”
“Yes.”
“Well we were that monster. We terrorized ponies and the eternal night would have killed the ponies slowly.”
“Well at least you aren’t as bad as the Covies.”
“Yes. Um…can thou teach us how to speak modernly?”
“Why.”
“I don’t want to be left behind from everyone else.”
“Ok. But you’re cute when you speak like that.”
“Thank you but we still want to learn how to speak modernly.”
“Ok. So… I know this isn’t none of my business but what happened to you when...”
“When we was transformed into Nightmare Moon. Well… we don’t feel comfortable talking about this right now. ”
“I understand. Come we’re near the pods.” The two kept walking until they were standing in front of a cliff.
“Well come on.” Luna flew to the other side as Dan watched her as he crossed his arms. She flew back and she asked
“Well I can’t fly.”
“But we flew out in space.”
“Luna we used a machine. We humans can’t fly.”
“Oh well we can bring the bridge back up.” She flew down and she pulled the bridge up and she it back to on the steaks.
“Uh…Luna I don’t think this bridge will be able to hold a soldier that weights a thousand pounds.”
“Oh…wait you weight a thousand pounds?”
“Yeah.”
“Well I think I can do this.” Her horn glowed and then a bright light appeared and as the light died out they were on the other side.
“What the hell?!”
“What haven’t you ever teleported before?”
“Like twice…but don’t do that unless if you warn me.”
“Ok.” They two walked toward the castle. And behind a wall a flare shot up. The Spartan shouted.
“Don’t fire we are friendly.” A few heads looked over. One said.
“Sorry sir we were just attacked by a patrol of Covies.”
“Any KIA?”
“No. Just one injured.”
“Ok did you treat the soldier?”
“No sorry sir we don’t have any biofoam.”
“I do take me to him.”
“Well sir the he is actually a she.”
“Ok.” The Marine took the oversize human to the injured soldier. “There she is.”
“She’s an ODST.”
“Yes.”
“Ok.” He walked close to her and he removed her helmet. “Name.”
“Private Margaret Harrison.”
“Ok I see you were hit on the leg.”
“Yes by a Needle Rifle.” He looked over her left leg and he grabbed the biofoam from hit belt.
“This will hurt.”
“I know this isn’t the first time I was hit by a Covie weapon.” He applied the foam on her leg Luna watched as the female
“Good.” She got up with the help of Dan.
“Ok we need to get you to town for refugee for evac before more Covenant tries to wipe us out. Luna lead the way please.”
“Ok Spartan.” She lead them to the bridge then she jumped off the bridge as she flew making sure that the bridge was able to hold the troops. After they crossed she flew back to the 107. “Ready?”
“Yeah.” Her horn glowed and they teleported to the other side of the cliff. “Ok the rest of the troops are waiting let’s go.” They walked under thick trees after three minutes of walking 107 was shot by a sniper. His shields went off as he pulled out his pistol and he shot the Jackal. “We have Covenant!” the troops and the alicorn took cover behind the trees. 107 took cover behind a boulder as he pulled out his sniper he activated the night scope as he looked for more enemy troops. He saw two glowing orbs he identified them as plasma grenades by a suicide grunt being followed by a Brute. She shot the grunt’s head and the bullet hit the Brute’s leg as one of the grenades landed on him. He aimed the gun to another direction as the grenades blew up he found two Jackals with carbines. He pulled the trigger twice one hit the alien on the head causing the head to explode and the other hit the lizard bird like creature in the chest. Luna shouted.
“Spartan look out!” he turned as a hunter swung his shield at him. He evaded away from the shield. The twelve foot alien swung again. 107 jumped over it and he aimed the sniper on the back he shot it causing the back armor to break. The behemoth alien swung again hitting the rifle and then hitting Dan causing him to crash into a tree. The soldier pulled out his energy sword he charged at the Hunter and he jumped on it as he stabbed his plasma blade through the throat. Dan looked back as the troops walked out from the trees Luna ran to the Spartan and he stood up.
“Dan is thou ok?”
“I’ll be fine. It takes more than one hunter to take out a Spartan.”
“You’re sure.”
“Yes.” A Marine said.
“Sir look in the air.” Dan looked up as he saw multiple objects falling. Luna asked.
“What are those things?”
“ODST drop pods.”
“What?” another Marine asked.
“Why are Helljumpers being deployed?” Margaret said.
“Because we are being under attacked.” Luna said in shock.
“What?!” Michael call Dan.
“Dan where the hell are you?”
“We’re on our way.”
“Dan we have evacuated the town we’re being under attack by the Covenant.”
“The town?”
“Yes the town. Pelicans have dropped Scorpions and Warthogs on our position and more troops before the ODSTs began to be deployed. But I think we’re going to need a Spartan over here?”
“Ok on my way. Spartan out.”

Chapter Six: New Mission
Date: October 23, 2552
The Lieutenant, the princess and the troops all ran to Ponyville and the sun slowly rose and they began hearing gunfire as they approached the town. Ponies ran to their direction passing by them trying to find cover as the troops ran to the town. Dan stopped the group.
“Ok we have Covies in the area with Helljumpers and Marines already engaging in a firefight. We need to keep this city from the enemy now let’s go.” the called Michael from his communicator. “Michael where are you at?”
“I’m at Twilight’s house I’ll send you the coordinates right now!”
“I have them.”
“Ok. Now hurry we are pinned.”
“On it.” The Spartan lead the troops to the library. “Stop.” He was behind a collapsed building. As he saw the library surrounded by barricades about fifty feet from the tree. A Marine gave Dan his rocket launcher he aimed it at a Wraith that has taken out the last Scorpion. He fire the gun as it hit the back of the alien tank. As it exploded the humans made a hit and run as they made their way to the tree. A Brute struck a Marine as two others tackled the ape to the ground one of them grabbed his knife and he stabbed him on the head. The two troops helped the injured Marine as he kept shooting his pistol another was running until he was hit but a carbine in the chest. The Lieutenant pulled his pistol as he shot down three Jackal snipers and four Grunt majors. As they approached the barricades a Phantom deployed a Brute Chieftain with a Fuel Rod. 107 looked as the ape shot a group of pony guards he grabbed his knife and he threw it to the alien. The blade hit the Brute’s arm as it was pulling out the blade from his are the Spartan tackle him and he shot him with his pistol. The rest of the troops made it to the tree until a pair of Shortswords flew over the town. Dan knew what that meant he ran to the tree and he shouted.
“Get in the tree now!” the troops ran inside Dan knew he was too far. He looked up as the jet were dropping bombs as they close in Dan used his Armor Lock. Luna looked outside the window and then she looked inside.
“Where’s Dan.” Michael said.
“I thought he was insi…” the all looked out the window. After the bombing was over they all ran out “Lieutenant are you out here?!”
“Yeah I’m fine.” They heard him from a cloud of dust left from the explosions.
“How did you survive?”
“Armor Lock.”
“Oh. You gave us a fucking scare.”
“Sorry I was busy being bomb out here when you were inside.” Luna said.
“Well at least you’re ok.”
“Yes Luna I’m fine.” Dan was receiving a call.
“Spartan-107 this is Jorge Stronghold do you copy?”
“Spartan here.”
“Good all of the troops that were dropped have been picked up and we also know that the attack of the town is over.”
“Yeah we have the town but we need supplies if we want to keep it.”
“Understood we are sending a Frigate to deploy troops, food, ammo, vehicles, and medicine.”
“Perfect.”
“You have an hour to get rid of anything that is loose or the Frigate will force loose things to fly all over the place.”
“Ok Spartan out.” He turned back to the troops. “Ok the UNSC is sending in supplies but we need to clear the area. I don’t want a piece of broken Wraith armor crashing into anyone.” The remaining humans and ponies made sure that everything was in place. About thirty minutes passed and Celestia walked into the town with her guards and the captain.
“Big brother!”
“Twilight.” He hugged her as he looked at Dan. Then he walked to Celestia.
“Your highness I don’t see why I have to follow orders from this thing. I’m a Captain. He only a Lieutenant…” Dan cut in.
“A Lieutenant that is putting his life in danger saving you ponies.” Celestia said.
“Lieutenant if I may ask…try not to start any problems with my guards.”

“Well I can infiltrate the area.”

“I want to got I may not be a Spartan but I am good when it comes to stealth.”
“True.” Luna heard the conversation and she said.
“Um…Spartan.”
“Yeah.”
“We heard that your communications has been destroyed…well we’re going with you.”
“Hell no.”
“Why not?”
“Because this is a stealth mission.”
“We can be stealthy.”
“How?” Michael smacked the back of his head and 107 pushed him back making him fall to the ground. “What was that for?”
“You dumbass. She the Princess of the night look at her in the night stealth is domain.”
“I see. Well maybe but you’re a leader.” Luna said.
“So?”
“I can’t risk you being killed in battle.”
“We won’t.”
“Still you’re not going.”
“But…”
“No.” Michael tapped the Spartan's armor.
“Dan the frigate is almost here.”
“Ok everyone to the tree!” he turned to Luna. “Well talk about this later.” They all ran to the tree as he jumped over the back of the barricade. As they waited Shining Armor asked Michael.
“Hey how is a ship going to arrive here we are nowhere near a large water source.”
“You ponies haven’t achieved aerospace travel yet huh.”
“Space?”
“Where were you when we arrived?”
“I was knocked out but one of those apes.”
“Oh.”
“So what am I going to see?”
“Just wait.” From the horizon a small figure appeared. After three seconds the figure grew larger as it drew closer to the town. Small loose objects began to fly in the air and some of the ponies and humans had a hard time standing up right. As it was over Ponyville Michael looked to the Captain who had a dumbstruck face. “Too much for you.”
“I don’t believe it?”
“Same thing the rainbow manned mare said.”
“How?”
"You’ll find out later.” As the ship lowered it also lowered its docking bay deploying vehicles and troops walked out with supplies and weapons. Ponies walked to the troops to help. After forty minutes the Frigate returned to orbit and the whole perimeter of the town was now protected by a wall. Near the tree while next to a Mil troop transport Warthog. Celestia, Dan, Luna, Michael, Shining Armor, and Twilight were discussing about the Dark Zone. Dan started.
“Ok here’s the situation we have a Dark Zone that is cutting off our communication from farther land areas. The Dark Zone may also be cutting off our routes that allow our soldiers to cross.” Celestia asked.
“So if you had soldiers in the area.” The two humans looked to the ground. The Alicorns knew what that meant. “Oh.” Dan continued.
“Look Brutes eat humans and I’m pretty sure that now eat ponies as well. Michael and I are going into the Dark Zone to take out the thing that is jamming our communiations.” Twilight said.
“Well then I’m going too.” And then her brother.
“As well as I.” Twilight continued.
“And we heard you when you were talking to Luna nothing will stop us from going.” Michael said.
“Wow…looks like we have some ponies that are ready to fight. What do you say Dan.”
“I say that I’m taking point.” As he turned to the hog he saw Margaret and Luna already in the front sitting in the hog. “Luna you’re not going.”
“Too late.” Margaret said.
“Sorry sir she won’t budge.”
“Well as your punishment you’re coming too Helljumper.”
“I thought you never ask but I’m driving.”
“Just don’t drive like a woman.”
“Roger that sir.” The turned to the white as she walked to her sister.
“Luna.”
“Yes.”
“Just be careful ok.”
“Ok.” She gave her a hug then Celestia turned back to 107.
“Spartan?”
“Yes.”
“The life of my sister lays on your hooves…or hands. Promise me you’ll bring her back.”
“I promise.” He grabbed his sniper and DMR and he climbed on the back followed by Michael and the two unicorn. Margaret
“Beth get up.” Beth appeared on his HUD.
“I see that you managed to make friends with the natives.”
“Yes.”
“I was also aware of the situation ever since you arrived on the planet. And I also remember telling you to wake me in five days.”
“Well too bad we need you.”
“Fine the Dark Zone is about five miles west. But I recommend that you wait for the night.”

“After that well you know what to do.” Dan looked at the ponies as they looked at him confused.

“KK.” They arrived at a gorge or as the ponies refer it to. Ghastly Gorge. Dan said.
“Ok we leave the hog her but it’s too early we need to settle here in this cave.” Twilight said.

“Yes…but we’re too close why hasn’t it come out of its home.”
“Well why don’t I take a look.” Dan grabbed his DMR and he walked in the cave. Twilight asked Michael.
“Do you think he’ll be able to fight off a giant eel?”
“Twilight you saw him fall from the atmosphere. I’m pretty sure he can fight an eel.” They looked inside the cave it was a good twenty minutes and Luna said.
“We can’t wait any more we’re going in…”
“No need for that beautiful.” He walked out of the cave. “The eel was burned all that is left if its bones.”

Dan walked into the forest to find food for the team. Fruit and vegetables for the ponies and Dan hunted down a pair of chickens for the ODSTs. As he walked he saw that it was two hours before ten. He walked into the cave and he skinned the chicken and he started a fire he covered the top part of the entrance of the cave to hide the light of the fire. The smell woke Michael up.
“Damn that smells good.” Twilight woke up next.
“Ugh what is that terrible smell?” Dan said.
“Right I forgot…you ponies are herbivores.”
“You think.”
“Well humans are omnivores and my jumpers need their energy.”
“Ok but what about us?”
“I brought fruit and vegetables.”

“Michael get the others up.”
“Yes sir.” He walked up to the captain. “Hey captain it brunch time.”
“No I don’t want to.” The trooper rolled his eyes and he grabbed his assault rifle and he hit the stallion.

“Wakey wakey.” He walked back to the fire. “He hey rookie wake up.” Margaret got up as she shook her head.
“What’s the situation?”
“Nothing the Lieutenant just wants us to eat something before we depart.”

The group walked in the night the princess made a half moon to hide the troopers from the enemy. Dan said.
“Good idea on making a half moon.”
“Well Spartan my moon gives light and it’s bright so with the half-moon we can hide ourselves better.”
“True.” Near the end of the gorge two Covenant patrol vehicles were on their way to the squad’s position. “Hide behind those rocks now!” the ran behind the rock while 107 placed a drop shield on the ground and hid behind a dead tree ready with a plasma grenade. The troops stopped in front and walked toward the shield figuring that Brutes have a lack of intelligence.
“Where did this came from?” a second later two blue orbs landed on two of them and blew up the patrol was killed by the blast. The squad walked out.
“Dan look the patrol came on a Revenant and a Spectre. We can use them to get to the tower faster with these two on our side since we were forced to leave the hog behind.”
“Perfect now Margret I have a question for you. How familiar are you with Covenant technology?”
“I have driven a Ghost, Wraith, shit even a, Banshee but I have never driven a Revenant or a Spectre.”
“That’s ok the Spectre’s driving sequence is the same as the Ghost, if you can drive a Ghost you can drive this thing right here. Alright now let’s get moving Michael I want you on that gun and I want you two Unicorns to go on the side the rookie will be driving. Luna you’re going with me.” The Spartan and the alicorn climbed on the Revenant. They dove off Dan looked at the princess as she kept looking at the bottom of the vehicle. “Why are you looking down?”
“Well we are wondering how this thing is moving without any wheels.” They reached the end of the gorge as they saw a tower. Michael said.
“Fuck this tower is bigger than the Spires on Reach.” Michael looked up the cliff and saw a satellite tower that controls the heavy shield. “Dan look we can take out that tower and call a frigate to destroy the stronghold.”
“Do you mean us or me?”
“Ok maybe you but just because you’re a Spartan that doesn’t mean you have to do this alone.” The lieutenant turned to the tower as he was barely able to see the tower.
“I think this tower is using heavy shielding. The MAC won’t be able to destroy it so your plan is the one we are following.”
“Why in five minutes?”
“I want them to think that it’s only me and the princess that are attack. If they see any more troops they will think that we are attacking and the tower over there will send troops.”
“Oh ok.”Luna and Dan drove to the exterior wall.
“Luna ready your armor’s shield and get ready to attack.” Dan fired a plasma pod to the enemy. Luna was firing titanium arrows custom made by the UNSC from the passenger seat. The semi-tank hit Grunts, Jackals, and Brutes.
“Luna at this rate there will be no need for the others to com…” 107 was cut off as the Revenant was launched off course by a Hunter. Dan pulled Luna out of the Revenant and he shielded her from the fuel rod blast of the Hunter.
“Luna I want you to take cover I’ll lead these two to the control room and make them take out the shield for us.” As the princess took cover the Spartan charged at the 12 foot tall troops he evaded every move and led them to the control room. The Spectre came to help Michael, Twilight, and Shining Armor killed the remaining Grunts and Jackals and they saw Luna hiding under the Revenant. Michael asked.
“Luna what happen and where’s Spartan 107?”
“He’s at the control with two really tall aliens with heavy shield!”
“Shit.” He ran to help 107 and Luna went with him. Dan was dodging one of the Hunter’s shield and hit the other one killing it instantly. The Super-soldier was going to kill it with hit combat knife but was pinned against the wall by the alien’s plasma cannon. Michael and Luna entered the room as they see the Hunter about to strike Dan.
“Leave him alone you over size savage!” Luna shouted and charged at the Hunter she pushed it out the window after they were on the ground Luna shot a powerful beam at the alien on the back breaking the rear armor and killing the Hunter. Luna flew up toward Dan while panting heavily but suddenly fell, 107 caught her before she hit the ground. She said.
“Dan are you ok?” he quite her before she said anything else.
“Luna don’t worry about what happens to me, I’m worried about you what happen?”
“It’s been a while since I have used a spell like that.”
“Ok…now get up we have a mission to finish.” After she heard the words of the human she felt something but she wasn’t what it was. They walked to the control room and shut down the Covenant shields. And 107 called in for heavy weaponry support.
“This is Spartan 107 sorry we took so long but the Covenant had a heavy shield protecting the tower and Locusts are guarding the exterior so let us see if they can take some frigate fire power. The shields are down so you shouldn’t have any trouble.”
“Consider it Lieutenant were going on your position we recommend you find cover.”
“Don’t worry we’re far enough.”
“Ok.” Dan turned back as the rest of the group walked in.
“Ok we’re far enough so…” he was cut off by a Phantom firing at the control room. “Take cover the enemy is on to us.” They ducked for cover the troopers loaded their weapon as the ponies horns began to glow. Dan grabbed a Spike grenade and he threw it at the turret. As it exploded a pack of Brutes jumped off. Dan jumped out of the control room he landed behind a portable shield she pulled out his DMR and he shot an ape twice on the head. Another tackled the Spartan he reacted fast and he punched the ape across his face breaking his jaw and teeth then Dan pushed him off with his feet. A dark blue beam hit the alien. 107 looked up as he saw Luna’s horn smoking. Fifteen minutes later after the attack a frigate appeared over them. Michael said.
“Here it comes.” They heard the charging of the gun the frigate destroyed the tower the squad looked at the destruction. While Michael and Margret cheered in victory the ponies were shook to see how humans happily cheered in such a violent outcome. Dan said
“Beautiful isn’t it.” Twilight said.
“Beautiful. How is this beautiful we just killed?”
“For you it may be terrible but for a species that has been fighting these bastards for almost thirty years this it beauty.” Luna said.
“Well Spartan we ponies are or were a peaceful race and now we are killers.”
“No. You ponies are not killers.”
“We’re not?” Margaret said.
“Of course not you are fighting for the survival of your species just like us.” After the frigate left, the squad back to Canterlot to report back to the Allies and the UNSC. As the drove Luna couldn’t stop think about 107. She looked at him for some reason he had his helmet off. She couldn’t stop looking at him until they were near Canterlot where ponies and humans were cheering. Dan said.
“Oh great.” Dan placed his helmet back on as they entered the city.

The last five days has been quite. Too quite even for the Covenant within the Ponyville and Canterlot area the UNSC has sent patrols. They patrol didn’t found much only a few small squads of Covies, but the numbers were suspiciously low. Dan was in Canterlot with Twilight. He has been called by Celestia herself. He hasn’t seen her since the Dark Zone mission. They waited for about twenty minutes and Twilight decided to take a nap. Poor girl has been going with one of the patrol squads and she’s tired. After an hour of waiting Celestia finally walked down.
“Sorry for making you wait…I was taking care of some royal business…” she stopped as she saw Twilight sleeping. “I see that my student has been busy.”
“Yes she has…so why did you call me?”
“Well when you returned form you mission I haven’t seen you since and well…I wanted to thank you for bringing Luna back.”
“No need. It’s my job.”
“I just wish I can repay you somehow.”
“Seeing the Covenant Empire fall is the only pay back I want.”
“I see.” From his communicator.
“Dan are you there.”
“Spartan here.”
“Dan we need you here we have a situation.”

107 stopped the hog in front of the Intel building and he ran inside. Where Michael, Rainbow Dash Applejack, Luna, and a captain were inside waiting.

“What’s the name of the Super-carrier?”
“Unidentified.”
“So it’s a new carrier then.”
“Sadly…we’re not sure. The carrier is the Covenant’s only supplier at the moment since they are too far from any Covies territory.”
“So what do you want me to do?”
“Son I think this job is only fit for a Spartan.”

“Yes we want you to go into the reactor room and destroy it. Without the carrier the Covenant will slow down.”

“Ok.” Dan walked out of the room as he made his way to the armory. Inside he grabbed an Assault Rifle and a DMR. He walked up to a sink and he removed his helmet. He washed his face and as he was drying it he saw Luna through the glass. “I saw you when the captain was giving me the Intel.”
“We know…um…thou is coming back right?” he looked at her.
“What do you mean?”
“Well…we were talking to your friend Michael and he said that a mission called Operation: UPPER CUT was similar to this.”
“Not really. We took a corvette with a Slipspace bomb and…”
“And the Spartan inside sacrificed his life doing it…we know.” She looked down as her ears dropped.
“Luna this is what a do…many Spartans give up their lives to save others.”

“Look if I don’t go this carrier will become more than a supply ship…it may began glassing this planet as we speak.” She turned away from him.

“Sir we have Sabers, Longswords, and Shortsword from Manehatten, Fillydelphia and Las Pegasus that will be launched as well.”
“Ok.” 107 climbed onto the Saber. “Ok who’s my radar intercept officer?”
“I am.” He recognized the mare’s voice.
“Rainbow Dash?”
“Yup.”
“Get off you’re not coming.”
“Oh shut the buck up and start this thing.”

“Ok Beth are you with us?” his A.I appeared from the ship’s HUD.
“Yes but you won’t need me until you are inside the carrier.”
“Ok.” Through the intercom.
“Launching in three…two…one…” the roar of the rockets scared some of the ponies inside the camp. As they flew to the air RD looked sideways.
“I noticed that you’re wearing a modified UNSC space battle suit.” She put on her helmet.
“Yeah.”
“We are leaving the atmosphere.” As the last rockets detached themselves from the ship Dan set course to the Orion Defense Station.
“This is Captain Stronghold we are about to engage a fire. Incoming fighters from the planet we advise you to ready your weapons. Multiple Banshees and Seraphs incoming.”
“You heard him Rainbow Dash you find them.”
“And you take them down.”
“Ok this is Spartan-107 calling all jets. We are about to engage a dogfight we need to take out the Covies strike force. After we defend the blockade I need you to cover me so I can infiltrate the Super-carrier.” The fighters flew closer to the one of the stations as they were already fighting the strike attack. Dan engaged as he fired at on ship.
“Dan we have one behind us.”
“Thanks for the heads up Rainbow.” He evaded from the plasma rounds and then he turned to the enemy’s ship and he fired back. The Banshee was hit from the right and it flew out of control and it crashed into a Seraph. 107 turned back as he want after a Seraph he took out the shield with his turrets and then he took it out with his missiles. As he dodged the wreckage of the destroyed ship they were hit by a Phantom’s plasma cannon.
“Fuck…Dash what was that.”
“My radar indicates that it was a Phantom.” 107 turned back as he saw the Phantom firing at a different Saber.
“RD we need to save that Saber before they…” he stopped as they watched the Phantom destroy the Saber. 107 attacked the ship with missiles as the Covies fired their plasma cannon 107 dodged every rod until he was able to attack back. He maneuvered under it and he fired. One of the missiles broke through the belly of the ship and it exploded inside destroying the Covies within. After twenty minutes the dogfight has ended the Covie ships were destroyed the number of UNSC fighter ship casualties were low. Dan said to Rainbow.
“Ok RD the rest of the fighter ships will follow to the Super-Carrier after I’m in I want you to sit in the front and get the hell off that thing ok.”
“No I’m not leavin…”
“That’s and order soldier.”
“But… fine.”
“Ok.” The Spartan called all UNSC fighters. “This is Spartan-107. The dogfight is over now we need to engage the Super-Carrier. Distract the bastards long enough for me to get in. Once I’m in return to base.” All the ship flew to the direction of the Covenant ship which was alone in space the rest of the Covenant ships were on the other side of the planet trying to destroy the blockade. As the flew closer plasma cannons began to open fire. The Lieutenant made his way to the top of the carrier as he took out guns on the top. Banshees were deployed from the carrier as they try to defend the ship. As 107 tried to land on the carrier a Longsword was spinning out of control and it hit the side of Dan’s ship he tried to control it but he was only able to make a crash landing on the carrier. As the ship slid a few Brutes were out on top as the ship crashed into them. After the crash 107 shook his head and he asked.
“Rainbow Dash. Are you ok?”
“Ugh…what happen?”
“We crashed right onto the ship…Dash I think the plan of you leaving has been delayed.”
“Why?”
“The Saber is shit now.”
“Cool so I’m going in with you.”
“Yes just until I escort you to the hanger.”
“What?”
“Dash I can’t risk you being killed ok. I’m able to jump off before the ship explodes I’ll call a ship before I enter the planet’s
“Fine.” She said as she grabbed her Battle Rifle.
“How are you able to hold a rifle?”
“Let’s worry about that later you have a mission to finish.” The glass of the cockpit was jammed so 107 was forced to break it open. The two looked around for any sight of Covenant.
“It’s clear.”
“How would we get inside?”
“This part of the ship is close to the hanger and after the hanger is the reactor room. So once you’re gone I’ll be destroying this damn ship.”
“Ok.” They ran to an open part of the ship that was hit by a Gauss missile. They jumped in the hallway was empty. They ran to the hanger when the door open two Brutes were standing.
“Fuck! RD take them out.” They two shot the brutes before they had time to react. The sound of the guns alerted the rest of the aliens. The captain called 107.
“Dan are you there.”
“Jorge we’re…”he stopped as he fired at a Jackal. “We’re a little busy.”
“Good. You’re alive all of the other ships have disengage where’s the pony?”
“With me.”
“I thought…”
“Captain can you give about ten minutes we’re in a middle of a firefight.”
“Fine.” 107 jumped over the cover he was behind as he fired his rifle. He grabbed his knife and he threw it at a Brute. The blade hit the alien’s head. Rainbow took out a grunt then a Brute charged at her she fire at it until it fell on its knees right in front of her. She reacted fast and she upper cut him. He fell and she finished him off with a blow on his head. Dan killed the last of the Covies.
“Well that was easy.”
“Right.” He contacted the Captain. “Captain we are inside.”
“Ok but I thought that the pony was supposed to leave you?”
“She was but s Longsword went haywire and it hit the side of my Saber and I had to do a crash landing on the carrier. Right now Rainbow Dash is going to take a Seraph.”
“Ok. After that I want you to destroy the reactor room.”
“Consider it gone.” He turned to RD. “Ok get in the Seraph and get out of here.”
“What no.”
“Now RD!” she walked inside.
“Beth are you there.”
“Yes.”
“Good.” He walked inside the ship and he connected Beth onto the ship. “Beth I need you to take RD away from this carrier ok.”
“But…”
“Don’t worry about me…I’ll be fine.” He walked out of the ship. He ran out of the hanger making his way into the reactor room. RD was in the ship.
“I’m not leaving him.” She flew to the door but the A.I closed it. “Hey open this door I’m not leaving him!”
“Nether am I, but we can’t stay here or there will be more Covenant searching the area. I can put the ship into stealth mode and we can wait outside until we see him jump out of the carrier.”
“Ok but stay close I don’t want to miss him.”
“Understood Element of Loyalty.” Beth flew the ship out as she activated the stealth mode. The Lieutenant was in front of the door. He had an Active Cameo. He walked in unseen as he walked to the first pillar he set a bomb and he went to the others. A Brute stopped
“What…I smell a human inside.”
“Where?”
“He’s within the room.” The Spartan had set two more bombs on the last one a group of Brutes were standing in the area. He said to himself.
“Fuck I can’t walk there with all those damn apes.” He looked at a sleeping Grunt. “This might work.” he grabbed the alien and he threw it across the room. A brute saw.
“Look!” as the apes walked to the Grunt 107 set the last charge. He walked to the door and said as he deactivated the cameo.
“Sorry Brutes but I have to go.”
“The demon!” he ran out as the Brutes chased him a Brute walked out of a door and the Spartan shot him with his pistol. As he fell Dan grabbed two of the alien’s grenades he threw them on the sides as the apes passed by the grenades they exploded. 107 found a drop pod room he looked around all of the pods were gone he walked up to an eject hole and he ran inside. He looked at his HUD.
“Fuck only forty seconds!” he jumped out. RD was sitting. Beth alerted the cyan pony.
“Element 107 has just jumped out of the carrier.”
“On it she grabbed the controls as Beth uploaded the human’s location. 107 looked at the Seraph he thought he might hijack it unaware that it was RD. the ship flew closer the human grabbed onto the side he pulled himself to the door but it

“Well I wasn’t going to leave you. You saved Canterlot and Ponyville.”
“Just get as far from this thing.”

Twenty Minutes Later:
107 and Rainbow Dash landed on the station as the doors to enter opened Marines were cheering. RD enjoyed it but the Spartan ignored everything they walked to the captain’s quarters.
“Lieutenant good you made it back with Rainbow Dash.”
“Just doing my job.”
“We now. We need you and Rainbow to report to quarantine after that you can return back to the planet. And we about the promise you made to Luna.”
“Yes sir.” He turned to the Pegasus. “Come on Rainbow let’s go.”

Location: Outskirts of Canterlot, UNSC Base
The destruction of the Covenant Super-carrier spread throughout Equestria and other parts of the world. In Canterlot Humans cheered as the ponies just stared at them wondering why the destruction was good news. Luna heard the news from the base she walked into her room and she began to cry. Twilight walked in.
“Princess why are you crying?”
“We don’t know.”
“I think you’re crying because of him.”
“Well we think these are tears of happiness.”
“I’m sure of it.” Through the intercom.
“Calling Princess Luna and Twilight Sparkle you are needed in the war room.” Luna dried her tears and the two walked to the room where Celestia was with the captain.
“Princess Celestia what are you doing here?”
“Well Twilight I am here to inform the Captain about something.” Luna said.
“What is it sister?”
“There is activity in the Everfree forest beyond the ruins and I wanted to ask the Captain if he can send troops to investigate.” The Captain said.
“We can but we can’t wait until the Spartan returns so I’ll sent an ODST squad to investigate the area.
“Perfect I will send a few of my guards as well and two of my Elements.”
“As you wish. Since you are sending two of your Elements I will inform the squad to protect them at all cost.”
“Do you think they’ll be able to do that.”
“Princess they may not be Spartans but they are well trained soldiers. Trust me a squad of ODSTs are not easy to take out.”
“I see.” The alicorn turned to Twilight. “Twilight I want you and Applejack to join the human’s squad. My group of guards will be led by your brother.”
“Ok.” Luna said.
“And what about us.” The captain said.
“Well 107 and Rainbow Dash destroyed the Super-carrier and they’re still not back. My guess is that they’re in quarantine for now. So I want you to stay until they return.”
“Oh…ok” Celestia said.
“I’ll stay as well to accompany you.”
“Thank you Tia.”
“Ok I’ll gather my Guards."
Thirty minutes later:
The captain was in front of nine ODSTs.
“Listen up! We have activity in the forest and we need you to investigate. The princess will sent nine of her guards as well along with two element so it’s you job to make sure that you protect them with you life.” They all said at the same time.

Rainbow Dash was inside the quarantine room waiting for the Spartan but he went to a different room so he could have his armor removed.
“Man what’s taking that human so long? How hard is it to remove armor?” from behind.
“You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to remove Spartan armor.” She turned around as she looked at 107. She never thought she would see him without his suit. His body like any other male Spartan was muscular. 107 is consider a lucky-unlucky Spartan normally when he’s out of his armor when inside a ship or a station. The ships or stations always managed to be attack and he is forced to fight without his armor so that explains his scars on his body. And he’s lucky when it comes to infiltrating a Covenant ship he always leaved with a boom just before he goes with the ship.
“Wow I never knew that…that…”
“You never thought you’ll ever see me armor less.”
“Yeah.”
“Well besides any other Spartan you are the first to see me without armor.”
“Wait? Does that also include the UNSC?”
“Yup.”
“Cool so how long do we have to me here.”

Location: Everfree Forest
A Pelican flew over the forest until it was about a mile away from the unknown activity. As the Pelican lowered to the ground Kevin said. The princess’s guards will arrive about an hour after the ODSTs arrive into the activity zone.”
“Hey Michael.”

“Look so far you’re the only human I know in this group so can I stick with you until the mission is over?”
“Sure. Just try to keep up.”
“Thank you…so what do you think is causing all the commotion?”
“I’m not…” he stopped as well as everyone else. Stephanie said.

“That’s a…Changeling.” Kevin said.

“A Changeling. We fought them a few months back but…we haven’t heard from them ever since.” Anthony walked up to it he saw that it was dead. He saw the side of it.

“This thing has been killed by Covies sir. I know plasma damage when I see it.” The rest walked up to the dead Changeling. Michael said.
“Then I think I know the activity is Covenant. Where do things live Twilight?”
“Well they come from a hive and it’s warm so maybe underground.” Kevin said.
“Troopers.” They all looked at him. “From what the mare said I think the Covies are underground and if there are Covies then
“Drones?”
“Buggers. They live in hives and there homes are always warm.”

“And save them the trouble from building another hive. Yes if I’m right they killed these things off and they just moved in. If

“Ok.” He turned to the queen. “Look your home has been invaded by Covies right.”

“Yes and there called Drones…but it looks like gaining control of the area is impossible.”

“They took over your hive. And the only way to get rid of them is with a nuke.”

“A powerful bomb that can destroy the entire hive.”

“I got basic training with this thing.” They began to hear the enemy coming towards them.

“I’m not giving you a choice. Our mission is to destroy the hive but protecting you is our first priority. Now GO!” he turned as

“He was taken by those bus thingy’s while he was trying to keep them away from me.” The Sergeant-Major said.

“She’s right we might as well place the bomb to explode.” They ran into the cave form some reason the drones did not attack

“If I’m right I’m sure that he’s close to the queen. Look.” They saw an oversize Drone sitting in the middle of the cave. AJ said.

Location: Orion Defense Station
Dan and Rainbow Dash left of the quarantine room. They were sitting at the mess hall Dash ate the vegetables while the human at what his body needed. The captain walked in.
“Spartan.” The Spartan turned then he stood up and he saluted him.
“Yes sir.”
“At ease soldier. Um… we have news from the planet.”
“What happened?”
“A squad of ODSTs and two of the Elements infiltrated a Drone hive.”
“Ok.”
“Problem is they have capture Michael.”

“Yes and the by the look of it. It looks like that the squad will not make it out if they don’t get back up soon.”
“Ok I’ll gear up.”
“You know what to do. Sergeant Rainbow Dash.”
“Yes.”
“I want you to go with him so gear up as well and meet me at the drop-pod room.”
“Yes sir.” She ran to the armory to retrieve her armor.
Twenty minutes later.
“Where the hell is that human.” The captain said.
“Patients you pony the MJOLNIR Mark VI Powered Assault Armor is our latest armor for the Spartans so and it’s the latest technology. Because of this armor the Spartans are difficult to defeat.”
“Oh…ok…so are we going to be dropped in those bumble bee life pods?”
“Nope. You’ll be deployed by using the Single Occupant Exoatmospheric Insertion Vehicle or the SOEIV for short. ”
“Cool.” 107 walked in wearing his armor.
“Ready sir.”
“Perfect. Now I want you two to get in the pods this is now a rescue mission.” The two entered the pods. 107 contacted
“Rainbow you in there?”
“Yup.”
“Good. Except the time we had to evacuate you’re the first pony to use the SOEIV.”
“Yeah well I think it’s because I’m awesome.”
“Say what you want RD but I need to see if you don’t pass out will we are dropping.”
“KK.” Through the intercome.
“Dropping in 60 seconds.”

“I’m ready.” The countdown.
“Dropping in three…two…one…” the pods were launched from the station 107 was giving the Pegasus the Intel.
“Ok RD here the deal a squad of ODSTs and two elements have entered a Drone hive. Our mission is to rescue the team and destroy the hive. Rainbow I need you to meet up with the other elements that are with the group.”
“Ok, but who’s with them?”
“Twilight and Applejack.”
“Ok.” The pods just entered the atmosphere.
Location: Canterlot Castle
Canterlot Celestia and Luna looked at two balls of fire Luna asked.
“What are those?”
“If I’m right sister I think they’re drop pods.”
“Are you sure.”
“Yes.”
“How do you think the ODSTs are doing in their mission?”
“I’m not sure but I will send my squad in a while. They haven’t contacted me yet and I’m beginning to worry.” Luna walked in
“We think this might us identify what those sky flames ball are.” Celestia looked through the scope.
“It’s a pod.”
“Really?”
“Yes but this one is different from when we were evacuated from the station.”
“Does thy think its Covenant.”
“No because the side of the pod has UNSC written on it.”
“Ok we know that the pods are friendly but where is it heading.” The white alicorn looked into the scope again and she
“I think it’s going to land where the ODSTs are.”
“What does thy think something happened?”
“I’m not sure. Contact the Spartan and ask him if he knows what’s going on.”
“I wish I can but we haven’t heard from him since he arrived back to the station.”

The pods landed about forty feet away from the entrance of the cave. As the doors popped open Luna contacted Dan.
“Hello Spartan can thy hear us.”
“Spartan here.”
“We see that your able to be contacted.”
“Yes we did.”
“We’re happy to hear that but we contacted you for the reason that my sister and I saw two balls of fire falling and landing
“I think those balls of fire was Rainbow Dash and I.”
“What?”
“Yes Captain Stronghold sent me and RD to rescue the ODSTs.”
“Rescue?”
“Luna. Michael has been captured and I need to save him. And after I destroy the hive I’m going to kick his ass for getting
“You do that we will inform my sister at once.”
“Ok tell her to send evac in half an hour.”
“Understood.”
“Spartan out.” He turned to RD. “Come on Rainbow we only have thirty minutes to save the squad before the pelican arrives for evac.”
“Ok.” The two charged right into the cave as they ran a Drone bumped into 107 in accident as it was flying to the hive chamber. The soldier grabbed the bug by the neck and he shot it with his pistol.” RD was hearing something.
“Hey do you hear that? It sounds like…”
“Gunfire. The ODSTs have engaged in a firefight.” They two ran to the hive chamber as the exited the hole they saw the ODSTs behind a rock firing at the bug. Two ODSTs were injured. “Time to spring into action.” 107 jumped to the bottom the weight of his armor echoed when he landed Luther and Mandy have never seen a Spartan before. Luther said.
“Where the hell did the robot come from.” Kevin smacked the back of his helmet.”
“Show some respect he’s not a robot he’s a Spartan and the one who is saving your sorry ass.” Kevin shouted out. “Alright the Lieutenant is here to help us destroy the place let’s give him a hand!” as 107 fired his rifle Rd flew to the two other ponies.
“Hey girls.” Twilight said.
“Rainbow oh it’s so good to see you.” AJ said.
“Yeah.”
“Yeah I know where’s the cell chamber.” RD asked. Twilight looked over the cover.
“There.”
“Ok.” The Pegasus flew towards the cell chamber. Once inside she was tackled by a Drone. “Get off me!” she uppercut the bug and she shot it. She flew to the cell door inside the human was unconscious. RD bucked the lock of the door and she flew in. “Hey wake up.”
“No five more minutes.” She slapped him and he woke up. “Holy shit!”
“Finally now get up.” The two ran out. 107 looked at the timer on his HUD.
“T minus ten minutes. Sergeant-Major.” He answered as he shot down a bug.
“Yes Spartan.” 107 punched a Drone to the ground. And he said.
“Give me the bomb!” the ODST threw him the nuke. 107 set the timer as Michael and Rd regrouped. “Good to see your alive
“Yeah… why?”
“Because when we’re out of here I’m going to kick your ass.”
“What why?!”
“Everyone out let’s go!” the group fought its way to the exit. As soon as they left the hive chamber they all ran to the entrance of the cave. Dan stayed behind making sure that no bugger left the cave. He grabbed a plasma grenade. He threw the bomb and then the grenade on the top of the cave. He ran out to the exit.
“Hey where’s the Spartan.” One of the ODSTs asked. They looked at the cave as they saw a figure. He shouted to the group.
“Get to the LZ now!” the ponies and the troopers all made a run for it. As they reached the LZ the Pelican was just arriving.
“Get on the bird now!” they responded and they got on the bird. Then the rest of the team. And last 107 as the ship flew away they looked at where the kingdom of the changeling’s once stood. A huge crater formed destroying everything inside. As all of the troops dropped their guard the ponies looked at the Spartan looking outside while holding his rifle keeping watch. Twilight said.
“Dan I think you can drop you guard.” He looked at her and said.
“I don’t think so Twilight…not until we’re back Canterlot.”

Chapter Ten: Battle of the Crystals part 1
Location: Outskirts of Canterlot, UNSC Base
107 was at the base with the princesses. Celestia was speaking to the Spartan
“Lieutenant I know that you are urging to return home but we need you here.”
“But it’s my home everything that means a lot to me is on Earth.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be 117 is fighting right now and I know with him there Earth is safe.”
“It’s your home. Once you are done here you will return I promise you.”
“You don’t have two. Is there anything else you want to talk to me about?”
“Well yes… you see I will be escorted to Manehatten by the UNSC and about 100 of my guards will join me. And my sister
“Ok but how does this involve me?”
“Luna’s guards will have to stay here to protect Canterlot and I can’t just send her unprotected. The Captain gave me authorization to assign you to be Luna’s bodyguard.
“I’m not a guard I’m a soldier.”
“Then you are not her guard but her protector.”
“Still the same thing.”
“Yes but you are above any of our guards put together.”
“Ok.”
“The reason I am sending her is because the Crystal ponies fear that the Covenant will try to take the crystal heart since its magic is very powerful and if the Covenant gets its hands one it…”
“We can kiss this mission goodbye.”
“So will you join her?”
“Yes ma’am.”
“Perfect.” The two stood up and I noticed Luna’s smile while she was walking out of the room. We walked towards a Pelican where a group of Marines were waiting along with nine other Pelicans. Three were carrying Scorpion tanks, four were carrying Warthogs two slandered issue one Guass and one Mil Troop Transport Hog. And the last two were carrying an Elephant. The Spartan said to Celestia.
“I though only I was going.”
“This was ordered by the Captain not me.”
“Ok. Come on Princess let’s go.” We got on the bird and except the pilot and co-pilot Luna and I were the only passengers.
“Yes we can.”
“Perfect. The flight will be about thirty minute’s long.” She nodded. Five minutes have passed and I sat across Luna as she tried to avoid looking at me. It was quite…too quite so I broke the silence. “I noticed your smile as we left the room.” She blushed.
“W…we don’t know thou are talking about.”
“Don’t try to hide it.”
“Fine we smiled.”
“Why?”
“Well we feel…safer with thy and…” she looked at me for a moment. “…and we feel that we can trust you with anything.”
“So you feel comfortable around me.”
“Yes.”
“Well not may normies feel comfortable around Spartans since people know we can kill them in a single strike.”
“Well…we don’t.”
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” Dan looked outside where the other Pelicans were following the lead ship 107 stood up and he closed the door bay. As it closed Luna said. “Spartan?”
“Yes.” As he sat down.
“How does it feel to be alone?”
“Sometimes it feels good. Especially if you are filled with rage. But… sometime we need someone to be there I’ve been through so much and… that…”
“You’ve been traumatized.”
“Yeah…I’m able to live with and I know that as soon this war is over I will get over it.”
“I see.”
“Why do you ask?”
“Well if you remember we have been imprisoned for 1000 years and we know how it feels to be alone.”
“True.” She walked over and she sat next to me. She giggled a little. “What?”
“Funny. We are two lonely souls in the same ship.”
“That’s true. But now we aren’t that lonely are we?”
“No we are not.” The co-pilot called me.
“Sir we need you to see this.” 107 walked to the cockpit. He looked through the glass as he saw a land of crystal. The human
“Luna is this the place?” she walked inside and she looked out the window.
“Yes this is the place.” The Spartan said.
“You heard her start landing.” The pilot said.
“Yes sir.” The two walked out.
“Luna please take a seat ok.”
“Ok Spartan.” He opened the door bay as it opened the grabbed a MA5C assault rifle he placed it on his back and then he

“Cadence!” the hugged each other then the young alicorn looked at 107.
“Um… he…hello.”
“Hello ma’am.”
“Um…sorry if I’m nervous…but I’ve heard about you and I’m a little scared of you.”
“Don’t worry I won’t hurt you.”
“O…ok.” Then Shining Armor said.
“He’s telling the truth honey.”
“You’re sure.”
“Positive. Spartan we are glad you are here. As you can see the area has been bombarded by plasma and we have no UNSC
“Well each pelican can carry 12 troops excluding the pilots and we nine of them so we have 108 soldiers ready for battle, plus we have vehicles with us.”
“Well that’s good news for once the crystal ponies have left the land and only the Crystal Guards are here to defend it.”
“How many do you have?”
“Plenty.”
“More specific.”
“How about over 2000.”
“Do they have the armor with the shields that you are wearing?”
“Different models but yes they have magic shielding.”
“Perfect. I need you to send troops around the perimeter just in case of any Covie sighting. And send the rest of guards in this
“Ok.” He ran off to look for the commander.” 107 turned to Luna. “Luna I need you to go inside the castle with your niece.”
“Ok.” As the two mares walked inside the Marines approached the Spartan. One said.
“Sir what are your orders.”
“Wait here until Shining Armor arrives with the Crystal Guards.”
“Yes sir.
Fifteen minutes later.
Shining Armor arrived with over 1000 guards. The Celestial Captain walked to the Spartan and he stood next to him.
“Well here you are human. All besides the ones I send to scout the perimeter these are all of the guards.”
“Captain when was the last Covenant air raid.”
“Yesterday.”
“How many times have the attacked?”
“This was their fifth time.”
“Which way did they come from?”
“East.”
“Perfect.” 107 walked in front of the guards and Marines. “Listen up! I’ve been informed that the Covies have been bombing this are and yesterday was their fifth time. Meaning that if they haven’t attacked the first time then they will attack soon. I need a first line of defence in the east and about a mile back a second line…” he was cut off by one of the guards.
“And why should we take orders from you!” a Marine shouted back.
“Hey! Show some respect to the Spartan he trying to save your sorry ass!”
“What did you say?!”
“You heard me!” the stallion stepped out of the line and then the Marine. They stood face to face. Shining was about to

“What if he hurts him or the other way?”
“I won’t let that happen.” The Marine dropped his rifle and he raised his arms in his fighting position. The stallion charged at

“Lance Corporal.”
“Well Corporal. Someone needs to teach you how to respect you officers.” The guard charged at him without any hesitation
“Um…s…sir.”
“Yes.”
“What is an Alamo?”
“The Alamo was a fortress or a mission when a state called Texas fought for independence from Mexico. The rebels had nowhere to run so they fought off the army and they fought bravely. Now the UNSC uses the term Alamo stating that the rally point is where we make our last stand.”
“W…will we live.”
“Yes sir.”
Two hours later
107 was in the first line of defense. He contacted the UNSC base in Canterlot to send in more troops they informed him that troops were unavailable for the moment. The guards and Marines waited nervously. Two Warthogs the Guass hog and the two tanks were in the first line and the rest of the vehicles were in the second. Luna waited for 107’s signal to leave the Empire before the Covenant takes the crystal heart. The ground shook 107 looked over he used the scope on his battle rifle.
“We have two Scarabs I repeat two Scarabs the Tanks took position. The Marines readied their weapons while the guards armed their automatic crossbows tipped with Dragon scales and diamond (can fire up to 500 arrows in one seven inch barrel). As they waited for the oversized quadruped to approach the defense line the tanks took position to fire. We waited five minutes until first strike 107 readied his Target Locator. He knew he couldn’t risk having both tanks engage the Scarabs or he might lose them. Three minutes until first strike 107 aimed the Locator at the first Scarab. Target locked. As he waited missiles struck the first Scarab. The Marines cheered and the Guards watched as the first behemoth quadruped fell. But the happiness ended when the second Scarab attacked. The Guards and Marines scattered. Few of the troops had rocket launchers so they took aim at the legs. The battle has begun.
Location: Crystal Empire, first line of defense
The first line of defense has been able to hold off the Covenant attack but the casualties were heavy. Out of 500 guards only 298 were left and out of 35 Marines only 17 were standing. At the second line Shining Armor was waiting for 107’s signal. In the first line 107 was charging at a Wraith while dodging the plasma cannon rounds. He jumped in the air and he landed on the gunner with the weight of his armor he killed the grunt. Then the Spartan grabbed a grenade and he shoved in inside the alien tank 107 jumped off before it was destroyed. Then he drew out his Assault Rifle and he began to fire back at the Covies as he moved backwards to the cover.
On another part of the defense line a Marine was struck down by a Brute Captain as the trooper tried to get up the alien grabbed him by the neck. As he was holding him the alien said.
“You’re demon won’t save you now!” out of nowhere a Crystal guard tackled the Brute to the ground forcing him to release the trooper. The Brute threw the stallion off of him and he punched him in the gut. As the ape laughed the trooper grabbed his head and he stabbed him with his knife between the eyes. The Marine dragged the injured stallion out of the firefight. He managed to get the guard behind a wall.
“You ok?” he said as he tried to get air.
“Yeah…thank you…I owe you…one.”
“When the time comes.” He grabbed his DMR and he continued to fire. He shot down three Grunts and two Jackals until an explosion threw him off. He fell but he picked himself up as he looked over the cover he saw a Brute Chieftain. “Fuck a Chieftain!” the Marine continued to fire but the shields of the brute were too strong. The injured stallion grabbed his auto-crossbow and he fired at the Chieftain as well. The ape threw a Spike grenade at them and it landed behind them the Marine grabbed the grenade and he threw it back. The device landed in front of him the Brute looked down and them it exploded. The explosion didn’t kill him but one of the spikes flew right into its mouth.
One hour later
107 need all soldiers if he wanted to defend the Crystal Empire so he was forced to order the troops to retreat. At the second line Shining Armor was watching the position of the first line all he could see the smoke of the fires and plasma. Then he saw troops and vehicles he recognized them.
“Don’t fire those are friendly’s!” the retreating troops jumped over the barricades that had been set when the first line engaged with the enemy. Then he saw 107 firing at a Hunter the behemoth swung its heavy shield to the ground but 107 jumped in the air and he landed on the aliens head. 107 drew out his Energy Sword and he swung it across the Hunter’s head. After it fell he ran to the barricade he jumped over it was quite and Shining Armor said. “What happen?”
“Covenant over run us. They used multiple Wraiths we lost one of our tanks but we still have one left.” The Spartan looked over as a dust of cloud covered the position of the first line. Then he saw dark figures. “Here they come! This is our last line before we are force back to the Alamo. Give them hell.”

Location: Crystal Empire, second line of defense
Ever since the first line of defense has been lost by the Covenant the second line was able to hold back the enemy. Guards that have been protecting the perimeter have been called in to the second line to help hold the enemy. Only 15 Marines are left and only 432 of the guards in the second line Shining Armor has been his on his leg and he was taken to the Alamo. 107 is left to command the defenders. The Guards have gotten the idea of where to strike the enemy with their auto-crossbows. Their target is the face and the legs for most of them and for the biggest ones was still at the back. A guard was next to 107 and he asked him as he was firing at the enemy.
“How much longer do we have to keep fighting?”
“Until the Crystal heart is gone. After that we make our way to the Alamo.”
Location: Crystal Empire, the Crystal Castle (The Alamo)
Cadence and Luna were inside the castle hearing the gunfire of the soldiers outside. A pilot from one of the Pelicans was looking for the princesses but know nothing of the building he just looked in every room until he found them in the princess’s quarters with the heart.
“Princesses we have to go. The Covenant has already taken out the first line of defense. 107 is on the second line trying to hold them back as much as he can. And Shining Armor is injured and I’ve been ordered to escort him and the two of you out of this hell hole.” Cadence was shocked when she heard that Shining was injured.
“Injured? What do you mean Injured?”
“He took a plasma round straight to the leg. We can save his leg but we need to get him to the base back in Canterlot.”
“And what happens if you can’t save his leg?”
“We have to cut it off and replace with a prosthetic leg.” The two princesses walked up to the pilot and they three ran out of
“Spartan-107 this is Pelican Vaporia we are calling you to notify you that we have the princesses and the captain.”
“Perfect now get them out of here.”
“Yes sir.” The pelican began to rise from the ground and then it flew away from the hot zone. Luna looked to the Crystal Empire all she could think of was the Spartan. Cadence was with Shining he was lying on a medical cot. She said to him.
“Are you ok?”
“Yes…I’ll be fine.”
“How are the troops holding off?”
“Before I was hit we manage to hold them of since yesterday. But I don’t know how long they can continue to fight.”
“I just hope they are able to resist until reinforces can arrive to help.”
“They will. With the Lieutenant on their side they can go on for a while.” Back at the defense line 107 was fighting off a
A Phantom was over the Spartan as it began firing its heavy Plasma cannon at him. He evaded back as the last Scorpion tank fired at the enemy drop-ship. As troops were being deployed the Phantom exploded and the Lieutenant used his Armor Lock. The deployed troops were killed with the shards of alien alloy falling on their bodies.
Location: Orion Orbital Defense Station
The last few days the UNSC blockade has been fighting off the Covenant ships trying to enter the planet but so far only a Corvette was able to pass through them. The UNSC has have no Covenant engagements Captain Stronghold was in the control room when one of the crew members informed him about the battle taking place at the Crystal Empire.
“Sir we have a situation in the region of the Crystal Empire.”
“What is it?”
“We have UNSC troops trying to keep the city away from the Covenant but their numbers are too little and they have heavy
“Private Cole how many ODSTs do we have?”
“Exactly 678.”
“Perfect who’s in command?” the soldier read the files based of the mission when he saw the name and what branch he was
“S…sir it’s…Lieutenant Spartan-107.”
“What?!”
“He’s commanding the forces at the Crystal Empire.”
“What’s the purpose of the mission?”
“He was supposed to go into the empire with Princess Luna so she can retrieve the crystal heart, and to keep the empire away
“Ok I want you to deploy 200 Helljumpers down to that sector we need that Spartan alive. If we lose him we can kiss this planet goodbye he’s our muscle for this mission.
“Captain Strain this is Captain Stronghold of the Orion Orbital Defense Station.”
“This is Captain Strain talk to me.”
“Why haven’t you send reinforces to the Crystal Empire?”
“We are aware of the battle that is taking place at the Empire but 60% of our troops have been to Manehatten.”
“Why.”
“The Covenant was constructing a Super Scarab and you know how hard it is to destroy those things. The battle has ended
“How about the other 40%?”
“We have them split. 20% is in Ponyville and the other 20 is her in Canterlot. I contacted other bases across Equestria but they have their troops scattered.”
“Acknowledge. I’m sending in 200 of my Helljumpers to help the Lieutenant we can’t lose another Spartan we’ve lost too many.”
“I understand. After the battle is won I will send troops to occupy the area.”
“No need. Diamondhead Defense Station will send down a Frigate to deploy troops. You keep your soldiers in your area. We don’t want them to be scattered thin.”
“Understood.”
“Captain over and out.” After the transmission he turned to Cole. “Private Cole are our shock troopers ready?”
“Early an ready to be dropped.”
“They’re early. Tell them that they are being dropped now. And contact Diamondhead Station. ”
“What do you want me to tell them sir?”
“Tell them to send the Frigate forty minutes after we deploy our ODSTs. We need to end this battle yesterday.”

After the Crystal Heart has been taken out of the empire 107 ordered the troops the retreat. Most of the troops were outside while a few entered inside to give support from above. 7 Marines are left and only 115 of the guards were left standing. 107 was not going to give up he was not giving an order to retreat so this is the soldiers last stand. The Guards have never seen so much war in their lives most of them were shocked that the humans have been fighting these monsters for 27 years. 107 noticed one of the guards under a cover rocking his body back and forth he was traumatized. Marines that have been traumatized have been trough therapy the same with ODSTs, but Spartan just learn to live with it most of them get over it and then continue to live their lives. As the Lieutenant was firing a Plasma Rifle he had grabbed from a dead Brute he received a call from Captain Stronghold.
“Spartan-107 this is Captain Stronghold do you copy.”
“Spartan here.”
“What’s your status?”
“Sir the Covies have pushed us back to the Alamo.”
“You’re referring to the castle?”
“Yes.”
“Continue.”
“We have heavy loses if our numbers continue to drop then I will order the soldiers to evacuate the city and I’ll try to hold them off as much as I can.”
“There’s no need for that.”
“What do you mean?”
“Look in the sky.” 107 looked in the sky he noticed fire ball falling to their position.
“Sir?”
“We have deployed ODSTs to your area. We can’t afford to lose you. Now finish the fight Spartan.”
“Yes sir. Spartan out.” The pods landed behind them. The ordered a guard. “You what’s your rank?”
“Sergeant.”
“Ok Sergeant I want you hold this position as long as you can I’ll be back.”
“Yes sir.” 107 sprinted to the drop zone as fast as he could. Even without the sprint armor ability he was fast. Of course he
“Staff-Sergeant Cortez. What’s the situation sir?”
“We Covenant troops trying to take the land. We have to push them out of the empire if we want it in our control.”
“Ok.”
“We have to get back to the Alamo my numbers are near to zero.” 107 turned to the direction of the battle and he sprinted back the Helljumer shouted to the rest.
“You heard him let’s move!” the ODSTs followed the Spartan. As he approached the line he saw three Brutes shooting at one Marine possibly the last Marine. 107 ran on a crystal bridge that was destroyed halfway. He jumped off the broken bridge he was directly under the enemy and he fired at the enemy. He killed two Brutes when his Plasma Rifle was empty the last ape he killed with his Energy Sword. The guards were still fighting but their ammo was nearly out. One guard dropped his crossbow to the ground and he took cover. The guard next to him took cover.
“You’re out?”
“Yeah. You?”
“Last one.”
“This is useless were going to be killed out here.”
“I know if we stay w…” he stopped as the Spartan walked out of a cloud a dust followed by the ODSTs. The troopers ran to the crystal barricades and they began to fire at the Covenant. The Marine that 107 saved was holding onto an ODST and he said to the behemoth human.
“Here sir…take my rifle. I won’t be using it right now.”
“What’s wrong with your leg?”
“I think one of those damn apes broke my leg.”
“Ok soldier I want you to report to the infirmary.”
“Yes sir.” The Helljumper escorted the Marine to the infirmary and he shouted at the ODSTs.
“Ok let’s kick some Covenant ass.”
Location: UNSC Base, Outskirts of Canterlot
The Pelican that Luna was on when it left the empire had just arrived at the UNSC base at Canterlot as it was landing she noticed that the number of troops were lower than when she left to the empire. She stopped a Marine that was walking by and she asked him.
“Soldier where are the rest thy allies?”
“Huh.” Cadence walked to them and she said.
“Auntie Luna they speak modern English I’ll ask him.” She turned to the Marine. “What my aunt is asking is where’s the rest of the soldiers are?”
“Oh I’m sorry…um they have been sent to Manehatten.”
“Why.”
“Well we have found out that the Covies are constructing a Super-Scarab and they are a bitch to take down so we decided to attack before they complete building it.”
“I see.” The Marine turned to Luna and he said to her.
“If you are looking for Celestia she’s in the castle.”
“Thank you soldier. We will meet with our sister at once.” She turned to Cadence. As Shining Armor was being taken to the infirmary Luna said to her. “Go with your husband he’s going to need you by his side.”
“Ok.”
“Go we have to meet with our sister.” The tow alicorns took their separate ways. Luna flew up to her castle and she found her sister in the throne room looking over a map. “Hello Tia.” The white alicorn turn.
“Luna!” she ran and she hugged her little sister.” she broke the hug. “Wh…where’s the Spartan?” Luna’s looked down as her ears dropped.
“H…he stayed behind…he ordered the pilot to escort us out of the Crystal Empire before he was pushed back to the castle.
“I’m sure he’s ok little sister. We’ve both seen what he can do.”
“I hope he’s ok.”
“I’m sure of it.”
Location: Crystal Empire, Crystal Castle (The Alamo)
After the deployment of the ODSTs the Covenant was pushed back to the first line of defense and the guards and ODSTs were at what remained of the second line of defense. 107 shouted.
“Come on we have them now we have th…” he was cut off by the sight of the four Scarabs approached them. The last tank has been destroyed and the rest of the hogs have been destroyed besides the Gauss hog. The Covenant troops have retreated towards the Scarabs as the UNSC troops, Guards, and Spartan stood where they were. Dan looked sideways as the soldiers looked at him. One guard said.
“Sir what are your orders.”
“W… no I want you all to fall back I’ll try to hold them off as much as I can. I want to make you way back to Canterlot. If we lose that city then the war is over.”
“Wh…what.”
“You heard me.”
“We are not leaving you.”
“I’m not giving you a choice.”
“Sorry but we are not leaving.” An ODST next to him said.
“Same here Spartan.” Dan just looked at them.
“Very well.” As the Scarabs drew closer they readied their weapon. As the first Scarab was at the first line position missiles hit the Scarab and it blew to pieces. The troops looked up and they saw a Frigate in the sky.
“This is Captain Nero of the UNCS Frigate Lighting Rod. Spartan do you copy.”
“Spartan here. Perfect timing you made.”
“Good to you Spartan. Just let us take these bastards out for you just stand by. The Remaining guards and the ODSTs will be taken to Canterlot as soon as we are done here.”
“Give them hell sir.”
Time: 4:20 P.M
The Crystal Empire has been saved and out of Covenant after the battle the bodies of the Covies were burned and the bodies of the Marines and Guards have been buried. After that the ODSTs and the remainder of the Crystal Guards boarded Pelicans as the Frigate was deploying troops. The Pelicans were escorting the troops to Canterlot. As they left the empire the only thing the troops could see was the ruins.
Location: UNSC Base, Outskirts of Canterlot
Luna and Celestia were outside waiting for Cadence few of the marines were with the princesses as their body guards. She walked out of the infirmary her aunts walked up to her. Celestia said.
“Hello Cadence how’s your husband.”
“Thanks to the UNSC. Their medicine is far too advance than ours.”
“Thank goodness that he’s ok.”
“Yes. And thanks to Dan we saved the Crystal heart.” Luna was still feeling down that she had to leave the Spartan behind.
“I’m sure that he’s fine.” Twilight and Rarity walked out of the base. Twilight said to Luna.
“Princess you might want to look at the east.”
“Why Twilight Sparkle.”
“Just look.” They all looked at the east but nothing. Luna said to the young mare.
“What are we supposed to be looking at?”
“Just keep looking.” After a minute of looking they noticed some spots with in the distances. As it drew closer a Marine
“Pelicans incoming.” Luna said to the Marine.
“What does thy mean?”
“I think they won.”
“Won?” the Pelicans landed in the base as ODSTs and Crystal Guards walked out of the drop-ships and cheers were shouted around the base. Luna looked over the humans and she saw him covered in alien blood Lieutenant Spartan-107. “Danny!” she ran towards him 107 didn’t noticed her until he looked at his HUD and he turned. She hugged him so he just returned the hug.
“Hey Luna.”
“We’re glad that thou is alright.”
“Come on. I’m a Spartan I’ll be ok.” A tear fell from the alicorn’s cheek.
“Ok.”
“Looks like I have to take my armor off.”
“Why.”
“Heavy plasma damage it need to be repaired so i will be armor-less for 24 hours until I can wear it again.”
“Hope we see you without your armor soon.”
“You will.” 107 walked to the technicians room and he was followed by Luna.

Location: Ponyville UNSC Base, Twilight’s Library
The Battle of the Crystals has slowed down the movement of the Covenant. The Battle of Manehatten has drew Covies out of the west. The Battle of Fillydelphia has forced the UNSC troops out of the city and the Covies have glassed the city but the Covenant ship has been destroyed by MAC round by an Orbital Defense Station. Now the Mane six the princesses and the Spartan are in Ponyville planning to strike an attack in Hoofington where the Covenant has been forcing Ponies to dig within the city looking for rubies, diamonds, and other gems. UNSC forces and the Equestrian Allies cannot strike until an air strike is launched to take out the guns defending the city. The ponies are kept underground so civilian casualties will be left out. Longswords, Shortswords, Sparrowhawks, and Atmospheric- Sabers will be deployed. Spartan-107 will take point in a Saber accompanied by his radar intercept officer Rainbow Dash. 107 is talking to Celestia.
“So you want me and Rainbow Dash to take point on this dogfight?”

“Ok then.” The Spartan contacts all of the ship. “This is echo 1 to all UNSC echo fighters we are set to attack Hoofington. Ready your ships and let’s get moving.” the ships engines roared as a large dust of cloud flew up in the air. Ships from Manehatten, Canterlot, and from the Crystal Empire are depoying ships to the city under the command of the Spartan. The ships flew to the city 107 noticed the land was so natural he have never seen so much green landscaped before well except for Planet Onyx. As they approached the city. “This is echo 1 our objective is to take out the AA Guns before troops are deployed. ODSTs will be deployed within the city and then Pelicans, Warthogs, Scorpion tanks, Hornets, and Falcons will strike in the front. Target is fifteen miles. Echo 1 ready.”

“Echo 3 ready.” And so on. Rainbow said to the human.
“Dan those AA Guns are warming up we have to take them out as fast as we can. ODSTs will be falling in twenty minutes.”
“Understood.” The switched to the missiles he locked on the first gun and he fired. The rockets flew straight to the gun. The Plasma AA Gun fell the fighters cheered but, there celebration ended when Banshees began firing at the jets. A Banshee was in a collision course to 107 he fires at the ship destroying its left wing, it spun out of control. 107 forced the Saber to descend and then back up. RD said.
“I know we done this before and I haven’t said this yet. But for a species that can’t fly you guys are pretty good fliers.”
“Don’t compliment us yet RD I need you located me another AA Gun I can’t find one with all of these damn Banshees in my way.”
“Oh…right.” She looked at her computer. There’s one east of us sending it to your HUD.”
“On it.” He followed the coordinates and he took out the second gun. “Fuck yeah two down eight to go.”

Location: Orbital Defense Station Paradox
Captain Fairbanks was reading his ODSTs to fight in the city of Hoffington. He was talking to the captain of the ODST battalion.
“Captain the Spartan and his squadron to fighters have engaged in a dogfight. You know your mission right?”
“Yes we free the pony miners under the city.”
“Perfect after that you will be taken to Manehatten where you will be staying until the end of this operation.”
“Understood sir.” The captain entered a large drop-pod room. “Ok every Helljumper into their pods now!” the shock troopers entered their pods. On his screen his Gunnery-Sergeant Carmen asked him.
“Sir what do we do after we have freed the pony miners.”
“We have to hold the Covenant Back until the Marines attack the front line and they make their way into the city. If we can’t hold them back then we have to find another way to get those ponies out of the city.” The pods were deployed as they fell the captain looked at a picture of his daughter as they entered the atmosphere he placed the picture back inside his armor. As they approached the AA guns fired at them. One of them were taken out by a nearby Longsword. They landed the doors flew open and the ODSTs opened fire at a group of Brutes in front of a building. They managed to enter the building his Gunnery-sergeant was with him.
“Orders sir.”
“That’s easy Carmen tell the troopers to clear this building the miners are just a block away from here. So once we free them this will be out ally point.”
“On it sir.” She walked outside.
“Rainbow contact the base and tell them that we have taken out the last AA Gun.”
“On it.” She radioed the base in Canterlot. “This is Rainbow Dash in Saber Echo 1 we have taken out the last AA Gun. I repeat we have taken out the last AA Gun.” A familiar voice answered.

Twenty miles off of Hoffington
A large group of Pelicans are approaching the city a total number of 123 all coming from different bases across Equestria along with the drop-ships are Falcons and Hornets. Under them were Scorpion tanks and Warthogs both machine gun and Gauss cannon. Luna was on the same drop-ship with her sister. Luna was scared about what she has heard but also furious Celestia tried to calm her down.
“Lulu he’s fine. I’m sure of it.”
“I…UGH!” she slammed her hoof against the wall of the Pelican. The pilot said.
“We are ten miles from the city.” Celestia said.
“Perfect. Contact all the personnel we are about to go to battle.”
“Yes ma’am.” The dogfight was still continuing in the air so hornets joined the fight to help the remaining jets. The Pelicans were only able to get close to drop off troops near a ditch any closer it will be too hot for the ships to land. As troops took cover in the ditch Twilight was with Applejack.
“Twi do ya think there’re ok.”
“Knowing Rainbow Dash maybe. But 107 I’m sure of it.” She said as she shot bolt of magic from her horn. Luna joined the two mares.

“Yes princess.”
“The Warthogs will arrive soon when they do we take on and we enter the city.” Applejack said.
“Why don’t we take a tank instead? They are stronger and they have more firepower.”
“Ok.”
“This is the second to last floor! Keep pushing forward!” a suicide Grunt charged towards the group of ODSTs. A trooper shot the alien on its head two of the grenades have been attached to the side and the rest on the floor. Both sides took cover when the grenades detonated they continued to fire even though there was a large cloud of dust in front of them. One ODST said.
“I’m going in!” he ran. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” another shouted.
“Carlos!” he looked back. “I’m going after him!” before he left his cover Carmen grabbed him and said.
“Mathew you idiot look!” as the dust cleared the saw that the side of the wall from the view of the city was blown open. The floor was tilted the same direction of the hole at a 74 degree angle making it impossible to cross. Mathew asked.
“Then how do we cross?” Carmen looked around and she saw a door. She kicked it open and she walked in. She figured that that if she destroyed the wall then they might have a chance to cross to the other side. The ODST threw a grenade and it exploded as she stepped out the group of Grunts and Jackals were killed. She said to herself. “Now we’re getting somewhere.”
“Oh crap we’re pinned here.”
“I know. I can engage and take one out at a time but, I can’t leave you unprotected.”
“I know.”
“I’m out of grenades.”
“I only have one left.” 107 looked at a building that has been badly damage.
“Rainbow.”
“Yeah.”
“Give me the grenade.”
“Ok.” She placed the explosive device on his hand. 107 walked backwards as he tried to make the throw count. The threw the grenade and it landed inside when it exploded the rumbles fell on the alien tanks the human and pony just saw the burst of plasma flame rise in the sky. Only four remained the human took cover.
“That seemed to work.”
“As awesome as that was we are still pinned down.” The floor rumbled then the wall that RD and 107 were collapsed. The two covered their faces as the view cleared the Spartan recognized the shape of a Scorpion tank then a familiar voice.
“Princess I think we should let somepony who knows how to work this thing…should drive next time.” RD said.
“Twilight?” The unicorn waved her forearm to clear the air.
“Rainbow?” Luna opened the door of the tank. Twilight, Applejack and two other Marines were covered in dust. Luna saw 107.
“Danny!” she flew out. “Are you ok?”
“I’ll be fine. Good timing those Wraiths have us pinned.”
“Perfect let me move the tank…”
“Whoa after what I saw I’m not letting you drive.”
“Well for one you changed the coat and mane color of Twilight into a dirt color. Twilight looked at her body the armor and her coat was cover from the dust of the wall. She shook herself clean. 107 climbed onto the tank and he said through his radio. “Give me a minute.” He drove the tank out of the wall and he fired at the first tank he saw. Applejack said.
“You do know how to drive this thing.” Luna gave her a cold look. “Uhh…no offense.”

Location: Orion Orbital Defense Station Zema
While UNSC troops were being deployed on Canterlot Dan had to report to on the Station in orbit Celestia went along with him and Luna and the Mane six followed. The princesses were in a conference room with the captain and the Spartan while the six were exploring the station
“Lieutenant stand down at once! Spartan-117 and Johnson are there fighting right now!”
“I don’t care Stronghold Earth is my home world I can’t just leave like that we lost many planets in this war and Earth is one I
“107 the faith of the planet now lies on John and he knows how much Earth means to you he will not let it fall. He told me to tell you he will keep it away from Covenant control he gives you his Spartan word.” Silence continued after the captain told him that the princesses looked at Dan knowing that his home was being destroyed.
“Ok I’ll stay. Now that I know that Earth is on Chief’s hands. I give them my Spartan world that I will not let this planet fall too I give you both of you Celestia and Luna my word the Covenant will not take your home. Now if you excuse me I want to be alone. The captain and Celestia left the room to discuss a few topics about the war. But Luna stayed behind to give him support.
“Dan I don’t know what to say but we are sorry about your home.”

At the main conference room few leaders of Counter Earth were all meeting with the captain of the UNSC fleet discussing what to do against the war on them. Leaders of Equestria Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, leader of the Griffin Kingdom King Stabster, leader Zaveros Queen Luminra, and leader of Cervidas King Cervidius. The first they have decided to create a temporary alliance known as the Allies while the UNSC stayed speared but will fight along with them. While the meeting was going on 107 was teaching the Mane six about the station and the Super-Mac gun but while looking out the window he noticed a space rupture and saw a Covenant Corvette. The soldier ran to the room to warn the captain but he took action before he got there. He was ordered to escort the natives to the drop pods.
“Come we have to get the hell out of here!” he bumped in to an ODST he looked at him and recognized the service tag.
“Michael is that you?”
“I haven’t seen you since the fall of Reach” the Helljumper responded back. The station shook making the ODST and the ponies lose their balance.
“Come let’s go!” Michael looked out of the window and he saw boarding ships.
“Spartan we have Covenant on boarding ships.”
“Shit we can’t just leave like this. Michael I want you to escort theses ponies while I hold the enemy off.”
“I’m leaving you.” Then Twilight said.
“And neither will we.”the rest of the pones said
“No I can’t risk you being killed in action. Michael take them to the pods.”
“Ok.” As they ran to the pod the station shook due to the recoil of the Super-MAC the UNSC fleet was out numbered but the stations Super-mac even out the odds. They reached the last pod but 107 did not fit he pushed them in before launched them Applejack shouted.
“Hey what bout you, ya will not make it!”
“Don’t worry I’ll.” Before he was able to launch them he was hit by a Chieftain the brute took out his shields. He turned back and the lieutenant tackled him and struck him twice across his face and he stabbed the brute on its head. The pods were unable to launch until the Covenant attack was over. 107 ran back to Engineering to assist a group of Marines. As he approached a hunter struck him and he flew across the room and he crashed into the wall. He got up and the hunter swung again but this time he evaded the heavy shield. The Spartan grabbed an SMG and he shot the alien behemoth. The bullets bounced off the alloy of the armor but a few hit its flesh. The Hunter sung again and 107 crouched down. The shield was stuck on the wall the Spartan took the advantage and he grabbed a grenade and he shoved it inside the alien. He back away as he saw the explosion of the grenade ripping the insides of the alien out. He walked up to the group of soldiers.
“What the status on the attack?”
"Well you helped us save Engineering but the MAC stopped firing I think we lost the room.”
“Ok you make sure to clear the hallways…”
“Sorry sir but your mission is now ours. We’re going with you to the MAC room.”
“Ok. Once we take out the Covies we need to take down that Corvette or it will be sending more boarding ships.”
“Yes sir.” They ran to the room. The entire crew inside was killed and stealth Brutes were in control. On shot 107 with a Spiker, but his shields took the damage. As they took cover one soldier said.
“Fuck we can’t shoot them if we can’t see them.” He looked up around the room then to the bodies. He noticed that one to the dead crewmates had a smoke grenade.
“Ok I’m going in. I have a plan.” The evade to the body as the Covies began shooting at him. He grabbed the grenade and he threw it in the middle of the room. As the smoke rise the smoke made it easier for the Marines to see the enemy they all began shooting at them and then the Spartan tackled one of them and he pulled out his pistol as he got up he shot the remaining Brutes.
“Ok we have the station once again.” He walked to the computers and he located the Corvette. “This is our last shot if this doesn’t take that ship down then we are done for.” He aimed the MAC to the enemy ship. As the station shook again he looked out the window to see the blast. The MAC hit the ship and the side blew up then the back of the Corvette exploded. The remaining Marines cheered but came to a stop as another space rupture appeared. The Captain said through the intercom.
“Spartan-107 you need to escort the ponies to Counter-Earth at one the UNSC Navy is here.” He ran to the pods which were still on hold. He gave the order to eject there wasn’t a drop pod frr him so he did what a Spartan could do.
“What is this human doing he was a fool jumping out like that.” Twilight said.
“Princess I think he might survive.”
“How?”
“Well why did he jumped out.” The Michael walked up to them.
“He’ll make it.” Luna asked.
“How?”
“He’s a Spartan. A Super-soldier.”
“So.”
“Well to us he like a Super-human. Shit if he punches me across the face he won’t knock me down that punch will kill me.”
“H…he’s that…”
“Strong will yeah all Spartans are.” They all looked up as he drew closer to the ground after a minutes they felt the ground shacking. They all ran to the crash site and the y found him laying down on the ground. Celestia said.
“So much for you super-human.” The all drew closer. “I wonder what his face looks like?” as her hoof got closer to his helmet 107 grabbed her arm.
“You better not.” All of the ponies gasped as he stood up. Michael asked.
“Hey what when we were in the pods?”
“Covies too the MAC room so we took it back the Corvette was destroyed but more ships appeared.”
“Fuck and the station?”
“The Navy arrived just before I jumped out.”
“Well that’s good news for once.”
“Yes but now we have to go look for the other pods.”
“For Marine survivors.”
“Yes.”
“Then let’s get going.” Twilight said.
“What…most of those pods landed near Ponyville and you need a guide.”
“Ok then you’re coming with.”
“What?!”
“You said that we need a guide well you are our guide.”

“I noticed that you smaller humans praise the Spartans so much why is that?”
“Well… if it weren’t for the Spartans the war would have been lost long ago. 107 or any other Spartan is like a one-man army.”
“I see.”
“107 is a Spartan-II.”
“A Spartan-II.”
“Yes we also have or had a Spartan-III but rather they are completely wiped out or we still have a few MIAs…” The lieutenant cut him off.
“What he is trying to say is that. Spartan-IIs are more efficient then Spartan-IIIs and well they were more mast produced than we were, but they got the job done. If it weren’t for them the Spartan-IIs would have been wiped out as well.”
“I see.”
“Come on Michael we wasted enough time we need to reach the other pods before the Covenant gets to them.”
“Ok.” The two humans the alcorn and the unicorn made their way to the crash site of the pods. Twilight said.
“Ok I need you two to let me talk to the town folks so they won’t panic.” Michal said.
“Why?”
“Well let’s see. A behemoth human a Helljumper and we have the former Nightmare Moon. Trust just let me do this.”
