A Request For Help And The New Discovery
Twilight was writing down a shopping list for herself as she needed to buy new quills for the castle since she had older ones that she wanted to replace.
She made sure the list was neat so that she could read it when she used it to help her shop for what she needed as she wasnt really a neat writer and had been horrible at writing in school. It was a secret that everybody knew much to Twilight's dismay.
Twilight had wanted to keep the secret for a while but it people had come to figure it out which is why she needed write better.
As she wrote it down she heard her door open, she wondered who was there so she went outside to see who it was.
When she went outside she saw Applejack standing their.
"Howdy Twilight. I'm sorry for bothering you if you were doing something. I came here for help." Applejack said.
"What's wrong Applejack? Is something the matter?" Twilight asked as she wondered why Applejack look frazzled. Applejack sighed.
"Soory for looking like I've been in a panic. Look...Its Sweet Apple Acres honey bee farm...theres something wrong with it." Applejack said. Twilight sighed knowing this would happen.
"Well what's wrong with it? Did you make a mistake while you attended to it. Apple Bloom didnt get stung did she? Twilight asked. Applejack shook her head and frowned as she took out a tiny box from her purse and opened it.
"Well...the workers decided to...kill the queen..." Applejack said as she showed Twilight the dead bee.
"How do you know you that's the case?" Twilight questioned her. Applejack shrugged.
"I dont know okay. I woke up and went out to the hive and when I checked inside to make sure everything was okay I noticed the queen. Is there anything you can do to help?" Applejack said.
"You'll have to buy a replacement then, several farms serve queens, it shouldnt be to hard to acquire one but the one problem you will probably come across is the colony rejecting the new queen and killing her. You should get a caged queen caged queens will come in a small cage with a cork in it. Once you get this package dont remove the queen just put the cage in the hive and close it and let nature take its coarse." Twilight said.
"Is there anything...else I'm missing.." Applejack asked as she got the feeling that Twilight was leaving details out.
"You'll figure it out Applejack. It's not my responsibility to tell you every thing." Twilight said. Applejack thanked her and ran off as she didnt really mind that she would have to figure it out on her own although it would have been nice for Twilight to be helpful like how she had been helpful during the installation.
Twilight regretted not telling Applejack more but she thought that what she had said was adequate enough. Twilight sat down in her castle and sighed while rubbing the base of her nose.
After that she decided to get up and grab a book to read since she didnt think she had any diplomatic issues to solve in Equestria. She pulled out poem booklet and read it for a bit.
After a bit of reading she saw a gleam of light coming from her bedroom out of the corner if her eye. She stared at it in confusion so she walked upstairs. When she entered the room she saw a crystal that looked similar to the elements of harmony.
She cautiously approached it and when she touched it gave her a vision of its uses. Once this vision was over she realized how powerful the gem was.
She wanted to know what the gem was. She hoped it wasnt dangerous as she didnt need to have any more misadventures.
She thought about it for a while and then took it to Celestia in her castle for her to figure it out as she couldnt figure out what the weird gem was. Soon Celestia was able to confirm what it was.
"Twilight. Of all my years as princess I would never predict anything more shocking. What you have found is a seventh element of harmony...and it needs a bearer." Celestia said.
Twilight was shocked by this she was not expecting to find a new element.
"What...is the element...." Twilight asked.
"Its the element of courage....we need to find a bearer quickly." Celestia said. Twilight looked at the floor and she knew of her mission.
Twilight and Celestia quietly vetted people for the element and soon they found someone who could use it. They told Twilight's friends.
Celestia realized that their could be even more elements out there but she didnt know how many. It scared her to think that their were some elements that she had no knowledge of. She didnt even know if the element was required as Twilight and her friends were fine with only six of them.
Celestia couldn't make sense of a new element just appearing so suddenly within Twilight's castle, she thought that their should only be six due to Twilight and her friends being perfect matches for the six first elements.
Celeatia sighed as she knew that she was over thinking it, she hated foing that as she had a bad habit of doing that for everything.
Celestia decided to go and rest up for a bit so she decided to take a relaxing nap. When she went to sleep however she had a disturbing nightmare of Equestria ending due to not being able lf having every element. She was glad that they found a new bearer for the new element but it also made her worry as their could be new elements waiting to be discovered.
Celestia tried to get back to sleep as she was disturbed by the nightmare, she hoped nothing bad would happen to Equestria due to a miscaculation on her and Twilights part. She hoped that this element wouldnt disturb the already existing balance that the current elements have had. Celestia hoped that this new element would help Twilight and her friends protect Equestria along with the other elements.
