CH.2 Fluttershy's crimes

Crys walked up to a cottage on the edge of the forest and knocked on the front door.

"Oh, Hello Crys why are you here?"

"Hi, I just came to ask where I could find some weird creatures?" Crys asked.

Fluttershy immediately looked at the alicorn amulet, attached to a black cape that Crys always wore. "Oh, I have no idea where to find those." Fluttershy said slamming the door in his face.

Crys stood there in shock for a while thinking 'did Fluttershy just slam the door on me?' He started to walk away, then he heard a roar so loud it shook the trees behind Fluttershy's cottage. He turned and ran back to her cottage, as soon as he got there he knocked on the front door. She didn't answer, he turned once again and bucked the door open. He looked around her cottage and nothing seemed to be out of place. He decided to start searching the house starting with her room, as soon as he figured out where that was. After that he looked in her kitchen and noticed an open door that led toward the forest. He decided to go out and follow the barely visible path,'looks like nopony has walked on this path for a long time,Fluttershy's a pegasus, but even if she was attacked there was no sign of struggle in the house. Even if she went quietly they both had to fly.' His focus was broken by another roar, it sounded close. Remembering why he was out there in the first place he started to run.

The path took him to a clearing in the forest, then he saw a huge creature. It had the body of a lion, the tail of a scorpion, the wings and horns could've belonged to anything. His face lit up with enjoyment as he gasped

"Kitty!" he walked up to the beast as it looked at him, and started to give it rub it's stomach, as it lay serenely on the forest floor . "Aren't you just a pretty kitty." In a baby voice. As rustling bushes behind him startled the creature.

"Oh my, Crys why are you here?" Fluttershy asked.

"Hey, I thought you didn't know where weird creatures were?" Crys said getting off the ground and dusting off his amulet.

"Oh, umm... I might have lied a little about the animals." she said avoiding eye contact with Crys.

"Why?"

"Well since you can travel dimentions, I thought that you might have come to send them back to tartarus."

"That's ridiculous, why would I do that? I love animals, the weirder the better."

"Oh, I didn't realize you loved animals."

"Back to my first question, why would I send them to tatarus?"

"Well Celestia ordered for them to be put there beause they're dangerous, but I couldn't just let them sit there."

"That still doesn't answer my question."

"Well, I kind of wasn't supposed to take them out of tartarus."

Crys facehoofed,"My question was, why would I send him back to tartarus."

"Oh, well I thought that Twilight somehow found out that I took them and she sent you to send them back. I'm pretty sure what I did could get me thrown in dungeon."

"Well it's not exactly a crime because Celestia never expected for anypony to be able to get into tartarus, much less for somepony to get out

Suddenly there was a flash of light as the draconequus Discord appeared holding a thick book in his claws,"Oh, well if it isn't Crystal Hoof. You know I was was just doing a bit of light reading," the book started glowing," and I stumbled upon this peculiar story, The Dimensional Prince. It describes you in great detail. Here take a lo-" He then dropped the thick book on Crys's head, as he rushed over to greet Fluttershy.

Before Discord could get a word out, Crys said with an annoyed expression on his face,"I think you dropped your book. Also, who are you?"

"Umm... I'm Discord, remember I told everypony your deepest, darkest secret. That you can travel through dimensions."

"That's not my deepest, darkest secret."

"Oh, really then, what is your Deepest... Darkest... Secret?" Discord said grinning and getting in Crys's face.

"If I told you it wouldn't be a secret." Crys said not backing down, small sparks coming from his mane and tail.

Fluttershy didn't like the situation at all and in attempt to keep it from getting worse she spoke up,"Stop it, the both of you. Discord it's not polite to keep pestering somepony about their secrets. And Crys I'm sure Discord didn't mean to drop the book on your head."

Crys looked up at the sky,"I gotta get going, I asked Rarity if I could check out the suits at her shop."

"Why?" Fluttershy asked

"Pinkie's been following me around in a bush all week long. I asked Twilight why she would be doing that, and Twilight said that Pinkie's probably planning a welcome party."

"How did you know Pinkie's been following you around?" Fluttershy asked looking confused.

"Let's just say I'm good with disguises." looking a bit nervous. Without a word he left.

Wait, Chris knew Pinkie was following him around. Aso, less importantly, what's up with Discord's book?

CH. 3 The Fitting And After

Chris arrived at Rarity's Boutique at exactly sunset,"Hope I'm not too late." He started knocking on the door frantically.

The door opened,"Oh, Chris glad you could make it. Come on let's get started." With that Rarity dragged Chris inside.

"Stay still." Rarity positioned Crys on the pedastal surronded by mirriors, as she started to take measurments,"Okay now, what color would you like it to be."

"I thought I'd just be looking at suits you already had?"

"Oh, but your not just anypony, your my friend and I will treat you as such. So, about the color I was thinking something like maroon or eggshell white."

"Is black an option?"

"I suppose, but black is just so simple, basic. I want you to be center of attention."

"Yeah, that's exactly why I like black, plus it pretty much complements any color."

"Well, I suppose. It's just I'm not exactly used to 'simple'." the word seemed burn her mouth.

"I could tell." Crys said taking a look around.

"Okay, this should only take about thirty minutes or so."

30 Minutes later

"One last stitch and, violla finished. What do you think?"

Crys turned around and looked at the mirrors,"It's a very beautiful dress and all Rarity, but there's one small problem."

"Yes, and what might that be?" Rarity asked yawning.

"It's a dress." Crys pointed out.

Rarity looked and noticed what she had done,"Oh, yes I now see that." She then chuckled nervously.

"Look Rarity it's getting late, you're clearly tired. I'll come back tommrow, earlier though. I don't want to waste anymore of your time."

"What makes you say that?" Rarity asked. Crys then gestured towards the mirrors, and Rarity took a look. She had bags under her eyes, and her mane was just a complete mess. "Okay, if you insist." Crys then relieved himself of the dress, and left Rarity's home, then started to walk towards what he considered his temporary home, Twilight's castle.

When he arrived at the castle he walked straight over to a bush,"Pinkie I know you're in there."

"No I'm not." the bush replied.

"Then who's speaking?" he got closer with a smirk.

"I am silly." Pinkie answered.

"Then were are you?" He asked trying not to laugh at the answer he expected.

"In the bush." Pinkie answered once more before coming out,"How did you know?"

"You can't disguise yourself around me. Look, I already know you're planning a party for me, can you please keep it small?"

"Okay, but how did you know I was planning a party for you?"

"I told Twilight you've been following me around. Look I'll discuss details with you tommorow." He then headed off to bed, he slowly drifted off to sleep. In his dream he found himself in the Crystal Empire, walking towards the castle and the Crystal heart. A he passed everpony who were on the streets with him seemed to cower and tremble as he passed by. The street seemed to be getting longer and longer with each step he took. The street suddenly started to shake and reality shattered like glass, leaving him in darkness. A pair of giant yellow eyes appeared followed by maniacal laughter. He threw himself forward breathing heavily,'Why does that nightnare feel so... familiar', He then realized it was similar to the one he had soon after Twilight's 'Royal Decree' for him to stay within the protection of the elements.

The next day, Crys arrived at Rarity's Boutique as soon as it opened for the day,"Oh, Crys I didn't expect you to arrive this early."

"Thought I'd come before I forgot."

"Alright, follow me this should only take about thirty minutes."

30 minutes later

"Thanks Rarity I'll be sure to take good care of this." Crys rushed back to the castle to meet Pinkie.

"Hey there, so which of these cakes do you like best." Pinkie asked when Crys arrived.

"Wow those are big cakes." He looked at the three towering cakes with labels in front of them,"I mean, I really prefer pie, but I'd go with Red Velvet."

"Okay what kind of pie?"

"Any pie really, mind if I go a little Pinkie on you?"

"Nope."

Crys teleported a chart of his favorite pies to them,"Pie chart, nice."Pinkie seemed very impressed by the concept,"Well then all I need to do is set up now."Pinkie started to leave before Crys stopped her.

"Just remember to keep it small alright."

"Okie dokie."

CH.4 The Party

Crys arrived at Ponyville's town hall, as soon as he opened the doors he immediatly regreted it. The town hall looked like it had turned into one of DJ-Pon3's parties. He looked up and the roof had his face painted over it. 'Was t-that really necessary' he thought nervously before he realized he was walking, he stopped and saw Celestia 'examining' a five-layer cake, that also had hs face on it. Crys looked around to see if there was anypony he knew, but it was a little hard due to the ponies he didn't know.

"Oh, you must be Crystal Hoof, so nice to see you.", a pony asked from behind.

"D-do I know you?" Crys asked still looking around.

"Well not yet, I'm..." The pony seemed unable to come up with her name. "...Karma?" She sounded unsure of her own name.

"Okay? You sound a bit unsure about that."He said still trying to spot his friends, but as soon as Crys finally looked into her red eyes, it seemed that a blue streak went across them. "Wait-"

"Um.. Well it was nice to meet you. I'm sure we'll met again soon.", With that being said she left into the crowd, 'Very soon' she thought to herself as malevonent grin spread across her face.

"Okay... That was weird, now where's Pinkie at?"

"Right here silly!" Pinkie said," How's the party going?"

"It's wierd and... well... just uncomfortable." Crys rubbed the back of his neck.

"Ohh, so your just shy?"

"No... not shy... just... introverted."

"Isn't that the same thing?" Pinkie looked confused

"Well... um... yeah pretty much."

"Well look over there," Pinkie gestured towards Fluttershy and a White Pegasus stalion with a brown mane with a yellow streak going through it and a matching tail,"She's shy, but having a great time." she started to whisper in Crys's ear,"Can I tell you a secret?"

"Sure?"

"Do you Pinkie promise?"

"What's that?"

"Copy me 'Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye'." She said shoving a cupcake into her eye.

" Cross my heart and hope to fly , stick a cupcake in my eye? Do I have to do the last part." He said copying Pinkie's gestures.

"You can just pretend." Pinkie said

"So the secret?" Crys continued.

"That's my boyfriend she's dancing with, don't worry, I told him to go dance with her."

"Why?"

"Don't worry about it, after they're done dancing I'll introduce you!" After finishing what she said, she ran off.

"Can this get any weirder?" he asked himself before noticing Spike running towards him.

"Oh, there you are Crystal, Cadence asked me to come find you."

"Uhh... sure, but could you please not call me 'Crystal'?"

"Why?"

"Just sounds like an old mares name." Crys explained.

"Yeah, kinda does." Spike acknowledged this,"Here follow me."

"Okay, mabye Cadence won't just run off on me." Crys said with some bitterness, following Spike

"Huh? What's been going on?"

"Well first some random pony comes up and introduces herself, She didn't even sound sure of her own name."

"That's weird, so what else?"

"Well, what's a 'Pinkie promise' worth?"

"That sums that up, just don't break it."

"Okay?" he continued to follow the small dragon towards Cadence, Shining Armor, and Flurry Heart. He then realised the most peculiar group of creatures he had ever seen, a dragon, hypogriff, yak, gryphon, a pony and a changeling.

Spike noticed that Crys had stopped following him,"Uhh... Crys, you know you're not moving, right?"

"Oh, sorry just got a little distracted."

"What were you looking at?"

"It's- nothing, it's nothing." he lied and contined to follow Spike.

"Okay, then lets go."

"Oh, Crys there you are." He heard Cadence's voice from around the corner near a wall.

"Hi Cadence." He said with a false smile

"Okay, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, nothing's wrong." Keeping up the false smile.

"Okay are you gonna sit there and pretend like nothings wrong, or tell me what it is?" she said with a smirk.

"I'm just a little-"

"Uncomfortable, I noticed." she giggled a little at this.

"You know I don't like to be a part of big gatherings like this. Especially one with my face everywhere."

"Oh, come on you can at least try to enjoy it. And if I'm remembering correctly, this would be the first actual party you've ever been to."

"Wait, this is the first party you've ever been too." Spike said trying not to laugh.

"So what if it is? I'm just not a 'party pony'." He said to the both of them.

"Oh look here comes Shining Armor, and Flurry Heart?" Spike pointed out, as Shining Armor walked towards the two ponies and Spike, while Flurry Heart laid on top of his head.

"Yeah, I think I'm gonna go now." As Crys tried to leave Cadence pulled him back using her magic.

"Sorry Cadence, apparently everypony here is extremly thirsty." he said cathcing sight of Crys,"Oh, it's you."

"Yeah, me." He said nervously

"So Crys how would you like to meet Flurry Heart?" Cadence asked trying to change the subject.

Crys looked at Shining Armor's facial expression and decided he wanted to be anywhere else except there,"Maybe some other time, I promised somepony I'd meet them over there sooo... bye."

Crys started heading towards the variety of pies on the other side of the room,'Seriously, nopony even touched the pies. Oh well guess that makes more for me.

"Pie? Sure I'll have some." A white stalion pegasus said to himself then noticed Crys not to far away,"Oh, hi there I'm Fallout Sheildhunter." Fallout introduced himself,"I'm guessing you're Crystal Hoof."

"Wonder how you figured that out?" Crys replied sarcastically,"So you like pie?"

"Yeah, she's great. Wait how do you know about me and Pinkie?" He asked.

"There are to parts to this answer. First, Pinkie told me. Secondly, I was talking about the food pies, not Pinke."

"Oh, I mean I'd prefer ca-. Why did Pinkie tell you that? You weren't trying anything funny, were you?"

Crys noted that he was several head heights taller than himself,"No, trust me. I'm just not a 'Pinkie' type pony. Also, what happens if I break a 'Pinkie Promise'?"

"Don't tell me you pinkie promised her something." Fallout said as he face-hoofed,"Just- just don't break it, you should ask Applejack how that went for her."

"Okay? I have a question. I mean, that is if you don't mind."

"Sure, ask away."

"What was it like dancing with her? I mean with anypony really."

"Well, I definitly didn't expect her to be such a good dancer. You know you can go over and dance with her, I really want to get in a dance with Pinkie tonight."

"I mean, I would, but the party's almost over and I'm not a good dancer."

"Well if you change your mind there's a wide varitey of mares who might want to dance."

"Yeah, I think I'm going to leave a little early. I have a feeling that Pinkie's going to force me to dance with somepony."

"I honestly wouldn't doubt that." Fallout agreed.

"Anyways, I'm going to leave, see ya." Crys said as he casualy walked through the wall."

"That would suprise me if I didn't know Pinkie." Fallout said as he went to look for Pinkie.

CH.5 Anger Issues

Crys returned to Twilight's castle while everypony was still at the party. He decided to head back to his room, as soon as he could find it, he always had a bit of trouble navigating his way through the castle,'I really need to get a map for this place'he thought as he walked through the long corridors of the castle.'Let's see, 26, 27, ah right here should be my room' he used his mental notes that usually didn't help him too much. As he opened the door nothing seemed out of place, he decided to walk into his room as he retired himself from the suit which hid his amulet with his cape underneath.

"It's about time, I've been waiting." Karma called out from behind him.

"Go away." He said not moving or looking towards her.

"Oh, and why would you want me to do that?" She said lovingly approaching the front of Crys,"You and I both know I'm the only pony who will ever, truley, accept you." She finished putting her hoof on his chin."

Crys' mane and tail started to flow and spark,"except, you're not a pony, Crysalis." He blasted her backwards with a surge of magic forcing the changeling queen into her natural form,"Leave! NOW!" he yelled. His eyes started to glow a light blue as his mane and tail burst into deep red flames.

"What's going on in here?" Twilight asked running into theroom followed by the rest of the mane six, Starlight, and Spike.

Crys looked back at his friends as his coat turned black, the alicorn amulet sunk into his chst as sharp crystals protrued his shoulders and followed to the center of his chest, finally two firey wings came from his back,"LEAVE ALL OF YOU!"

"No, we're here, and we're going to help you."Twilight said, Crystals flew from the floor and encased each of them.

"Yes, now finish them!" Crysalis said with a malevolent grin.

"Why would I do that?" Crys said with a deep voice,"It's not them I have a problem with, It's you!" Crys said blasting a large ball of fire from his horn, Crysalis barely avoided it as it seemlessly blasted through the wall. Crysalis now knowing she was in danger fled through that same hole in the wall. Crys looked back towards his friends noticing the fear on their faces,"Ugh, and this is what I get for coming back to equestria." he said as he flew through the hole in the wall and headed towards the Everfree forest.

The crystals that encased the mane six, Starlight, and Spike slowly retracted and released them.

"I don't mean to say I told ya so, but I was kind of right." Raindow Dash said with a smirk.

"Rainbow Dash, this is not the time!" Applejack said angrily.

"What now?" Spike asked.

A glass bottle on the ground started to speak,"What do you mean,'What now'?"

"Really Discord?" Spike said to the bottle.

"What, I have a feeling this is far from over." Discord said and turned into himself,"Nothing ends this quick when you six are involved, it usual takes at least thirty minutes."

"Discord there's eight of us." Starlight mentioned.

"Well he's right about one thing." Twilight said,"This isn't over yet, I mean he flew into the Everfree Forest. We're going to get him."

In the Everfree Forest
A white pegasus stalion with a black and red streaked mane and tail looked up at a red streak in the sky,"Okay one fire streak in the sky is normal, but two I better go investigate."

CH.1 Pinkie Spy

"Okay, here's what we know." Pinkie removed a folder from one of the filing cabinets marked 'C' and opening it to show it's content to the other pony in her party planning cave.

"It's blank?" The other pony said. A light brown earth pony with a dark brown mane and tail who is often seen wearing a bright yellow shirt.

"That's the most we know about him, NOTHING!" Pinkie yelled before throwing her face onto the table.

"Pinkie, why not we just wait?"

Pinkie gasped at this suggestion,"I've already waited a week. He might think that I'm not really his friend if I don't throw one soon. I have an idea, c'mon." Both ponies jumped on the slide and slid up to the secret entrance at the top.

"Okay there he is the pony of mysteries," Pinkie said wearing all sorts of crazy spy gear as she watched Crys walk into
Hayburger.

"Hey Pinkie, hey Cheese Sandwich" Rainbow Dash said hovering above the two ponies,"Why are you hiding in a bush and wh-" Before Rainbow Dash could finish, Pinkie reached up and pulled the pegasus into the bush with them. "What's going on here?"

"Shh... You're going to blow our cover." Pinkie placed her left hoof over Rainbow's muzzle,"So far I've learned that he goes to the hayburger everyday for lunch."

"Okay, I know I probably shouldn't be asking this after knowing you for so long, but what's all of this about Pinkie?"

"We're spying on that pony who just walked into Hayburger." Cheese Sandwich answered.

"Uhh... How long have you been doing this for Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash asked rubbing her head.

"I've been doing it for five days, for party planning reasons." Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich watched Crys as he ate a triple hayburger with extra everything.

"Just throw him a party."

"I want him to like it though."

"Is it because you like him?" Rainbow Dash asked with a smirk.

"No, I already have a boyfriend." Pinkie said as Rainbow Dash looked at her in amazement.

"Wait, what?" Rainbow Dash asked right before being shoved to the ground by Pinkie.

"He's leaving, let's go." Pinkie said quietly as she and Cheese Sandwich lifted the bush and tip-toed while carrying it until they followed him to Fluttershy's cottage.

"We'll have to wait here until he comes our way."Pinkie said quietly

"Why?" Cheese Sandwich and Rainbow Dash asked in unison.

"Too many woodland critters hang around here. They'll blow our cover."Pinkie said so they waited.
