One man with a khaki outfit, brown eyes, a yellow mustache and hair, and green skin, held a map in his hands. "Yes, this is it." Said the man "You mean we found it sir?" asked another man "Yes, of course we did. We've found Bakula, the lost kingdom of big cats." Answered the man "Why is it called that?" asked the other man "This place is said to have more big cats than anywhere else and to me, this sounds like an opportunity to make some good money. We will hunt many animals, and from the sounds of it, they will make us tons of money in the black market." Answered the man It was the first day of summer vacation, everyone was at a party celebrating the once a year event. The party was at the local park, everyone was having fun. But of course, this being a party in Canterlot, the real fun happened whenever Pinkie Pie used her party cannon to shoot confetti. "I must say, this party is quite fun." "You can say that again." "Yeah, this party's a blast!" "Well this only happens once a year, so of course it'll be awesome." While they were enjoying themselves, Sunset Shimmer got a weird feeling that they weren't alone. "Do you ever get that feeling you're being watched by someone or something?" "We are at a party Sunset, so of course someone might be watching you." "That just sounds creepy." When the party was over and they were about to get inside the car, they heard a noise in the nearby woods. Now they thought this was just a deer or a moose or something like that. But it wasn't, to their amazement, a white bull Woolly Mammoth came out of the woods and walked right up to the girls. "Is that what I think it is?" "Okay, I must be dreaming." "This is not a dream little dog, I'm real." Said the mammoth "Did you just talk?" "Yes, I can speak." Answered the mammoth "Well what are you doing here? What if someone sees you?" "Do not worry, I am a spirit, the living can only see me when they need to see me. Just look around." Answered the mammoth The girls looked around, the other people were just acting like everything was normal. Unaware that a spirit mammoth was among them. "Well I'll be." "Why do you need to see us?" "Meet me at Whitetail rock, and I'll tell you." Answered the mammoth before he walked back into the forest without leaving a single footprint. "Whitetail rock? "I've heard of that place, a rock that looks like a deer." "But I must ask, how do we get there?" "I know how to get there." "Of course you would Pinkie." "Just go where I say to go and we'll be there in a jiffy!" They get into the car and drive off fro Whitetail rock, with Pinkie Pie as the guide of course. When they got to their destination, they saw the rock looked like a buck standing proudly on a rock. "My my, this rock is simply dazzling!" "Mother nature never fails to amaze me." They waited at the rock for about about three hours. It was pretty dark at this point, and the girls were starting to get a little impatient. "Where is that mammoth? he said he would be here!" "I don't know Rainbow Dash, but I'm sure he has a good reason for being late." At that moment, a group of gangsters comes out of the woods. The leader had a green mohawk and had white skin, and he was wearing his pants low to the point where you could see his underwear, and he wore a black leather jacked with spikes on it. "Well what have we here?" asked one of the gangsters "We have some ladies moron." Answered the leader "Don't you even think about doing anything to us, we can defend ourselves." "That just makes this situation more enjoyable." Said the leader "Back off punk." Said a voice behind the gangsters which came from a boy with black hair with red skin, an orange shirt, brown shorts, and hiking boots. Behind him was a group of boys and a girl. The girl was tan and had black hair and was wearing a khaki outfit. One boy was black in color, and he had white hair and was also wearing a khaki outfit. Another boy was gray with silver hair with a red shirt and jeans on. Another boy was brown with orange hair and wore a white shirt with khaki shorts. Another one was yellow with red hair and he was wearing a green shirt with brown shorts. The last boy was blue with a gray shirt with jean shorts. All of them had scars on them, telling the others that they had been in some rough situations. "What did you say to me?" asked the leader "I told you to back off punk. Leave them alone and find something better to do with your lives." Answered the red black haired boy "Like what?" asked the leader "You could get an ACTUAL life by getting a job." Answered the red black haired boy. "Do you want us to pummel you all?" asked the leader "Yeah, about that, there's just ONE problem with that." To the girls amazement, the boy who just spoke lifted his arm and his fingers, and five long claws came out of his fingers. "I suggest you back off now before you lose your eyes." The others behind him bared canines at the gangsters and growled, making the gangsters retreat. "You girls okay?" asked the boy "We're good thanks to you." "Mind me asking what the heck you're doing here?" asked the yellow boy "We were told by a ghost mammoth to meet him here at Whitetail rock." "Wait, that mammoth told that to you too?" asked the black boy "Yeah, looks like we're not the only ones he has to see." The Spirit Mammoth finally arrived, walked in the middle of both groups and began to speak. "I have told you all to meet me here at Whitetail Rock. The reason being that you don't look like crazy people talking to nothing, as you are the only ones who can see me right now." Said the mammoth "Fair enough." Said the gray boy. "I've gathered you here to tell you about an important mission." Said the mammoth "OOOOOOHHH a mission! what is it?" "Your mission is to go to Bakula, the land where mighty mammoths and sabertooths still roam, where tigers are giants, and where many animals have lived for millions of years. However, a huge army of poachers has found Bakula, and they plan to hunt the animals to make what they call money, and they won't stop until they have hunted every single animal in Bakula. So I'm sending you to stop them." Explained the mammoth "We know the drill, but why are they coming along?" asked the blue boy "I've seen them in action, they have powers beyond your imaginations, this one has super speed, this one has super strength, this one can make diamonds appear out of thin air, this one can lift objects with her magic, this one can talk to animals, this one can read minds, and this one...well....I'm not sure what she does, but she calls it Pinkie sense." Answered the mammoth "We can just get into our super forms and blast those poachers." "That won't be necessary, you can simply use your individual powers for this conflict, these people here can transform into mighty beasts. Show them." Said the mammoth The red boy transformed into a giant tiger, six feet tall at the shoulder, weighting one thousand six hundred pounds. The black boy turned into a Giant Short-Faced Bear, six feet tall on all fours, but at least eleven or more feet tall on its hind legs. The gray boy turned into a Thylacoleo, a cat-like marsupial the size of a jaguar with rodent like incisors and two huge thumb claws. The yellow boy turned into a Smilodon Populator, a saber-toothed cat with a short tail, muscular build, large fangs, a color like that of a lion, and weighing at least eight hundred and eighty pounds. The blue boy turned into a Haast's Eagle, a huge eagle with talons the size of tigers claws. Finally, the girl turned into a Cave Hyena, a hyena that looked like a spotted hyena, but was at least two hundred and twenty pounds. Shortly after, they turned back into people. "That. is. AWESOME!" "Can you tell us more about the poachers?" "There are several of them, and their leader goes by the name of Khali." Answered the mammoth "KHALI!!!" shouted the red boy "Yes, I'm afraid so." Said the mammoth "That monster's at it again. I'LL KILL HIM!!" shouted the red boy "There's just one problem, my powers, Fluttershy's powers, and Spike can't really be used for fighting." "I have a solution for that." Said the mammoth before he lifted his trunk and a white orb appeared. "Sunset Shimmer, Fluttershy. With this, I give you fangs, claws, speed, and power." Said the mammoth The orb split up in the directions of Sunset and Fluttershy, and they went straight into them. The mammoth truned his attention to Spike. He once again lifted his trunk and a new orb appeared. "Spike, with this, I give you venom, a powerful tail, powerful limbs, and serrated teeth." Said the mammoth The orb went straight to Spike and it went straight through him. "My work here is done, goodbye, and good luck." Said the mammoth before he walked back into the forest. "So, how are we supposed to get to Bakula?" "Don't worry, we have a ship at the docks just in case we have to travel somewhere." Said the girl "So we can meet at the docks tommorow." "Agreed." Said the other group "What are all your names anyway?" "My name is Kasi." Said the girl "The name's Bearclaw." Said the black boy "I'm Eaglebeak." Said the blue boy "My name is Lightning Strike." Said the yellow boy "And my name is Thundercloud." Said the gray boy After that, both groups went their seperate ways back home, wondering what will happen on this adventure of a lifetime. Author's Note Before anyone tries this, don't try to look up the giant prehistoric tiger online, that animal purely my own creation. At the docks, the other gang was loading the boat with all their equipment. When the girls arrived, they got out of the vehicles and said goodbye to their families. "Bye mom, bye dad, bye Shining Armor, bye Cadence." "Farewell mother, farewell father, goodbye Sweetie Bell." "Bye Applebloom, bye Granny, bye Big Mac." "I love you all, bye." "Bye mom, bye dad. Goodbye Zephyr." "I'm gonna miss you sis." Said Zephyr "By mom, bye dad." "Goodbye Rainbow Dash, and a little word of advice, if those boys try to do anything weird, smack them." Said Rainbow Dash's dad "Do you promise to return safely sis?" asked Applebloom "I promise." "You can't promise them that I'm afraid. Despite your powers, you could easily get killed in this ordeal." Said Bearclaw "You're right, I'll try Applebloom, but no promises." "Miss, why did you pack THIS much stuff? We're gonna be in the wild for crying out loud." Said Kasi "One can never be under-prepared darling." "I get that, but when will you need a fancy dress? animals don't care what you look like." Replied Kasi "Kasi, meet Rarity, she ALWAYS packs a ton of stuff when she goes somewhere." "Come on board everyone, we don't have all month." Ordered Tigertooth "Tigertooth, this could be the last time they get to see their loved ones. They can take as long as they need." Responded Bearclaw "TWILIGHT!!" shouted Timber Spruce as he was running down the dock. "Timber?" "Had to come say goodbye. Your brother told me about what was going on." Explained Timber "Well, goodbye Timber." "Goodbye Twilight." Said Timber before they hugged each other. After two more hours, they finally got on board the boat and sailed off to Bakula. The winds were calm, dolphins were breaching out of the water, and they even saw a Great White Shark catch a seal. "Don't you just love the ocean Thundercloud?" "Yes, I love being out on the ocean, makes me think of all the creatures that swam in the sea way before we even existed, like the Megalodon, Tylosaurus, Liopleurodon, Opthalmasaurus, and Ammonites." Answered Thundercloud "I like to think of the undiscovered animals at the bottom of the ocean, don;t you?" "Yes miss....I never got your name." Said Thundercloud "Actually, I don't think we got ANY of your names." Said Eaglebeak "Oh, well in that case, I'm Fluttershy." "Twilight Sparkle" "Rarity" "Applejack" "Pinkie Pie" "Rainbow Dash" "Sunset Shimmer" "Spike" "Nice names." Said Lightning Strike "Tigertooth, you seemed pretty angry when you heard Khali's name, why was that?" "You don't have to answer that Tigertooth." Said Kasi "Yeah, we can change the subject." Said Lightning Strike "No, if they're going to be our allies, they may as well know. You see, Khali and I have been rivals for years. When I was a baby, I managed to transform into a little tiger cub. My mother naturally freaked out, and the town had an entire meeting about what to do with me. The local priests said to let me live a normal life, well almost, my dad was never around. Khali just happened to be there, and he suggested that he'd kill me to since he believes tigers are nothing but man killers and I wouldn't be any different. In fact, some of the folks considered that option as well, but then the black couagar, the king of the Rocky Mountains came to my rescue. He told the people that if anyone tried to shoot me or stab me, he'd rip out their throats. Khali was scared as well, but he said this wasn't over, and that he'd return to kill me. As I grew up, I was taught how to hunt and fight by the black cougar, he's basically like a dad to me. When I became a teenager, I could finally turn into an adult tiger, but at that point, Khali had returned, and this time he was able to transform into a huge cat creature that's white, has yellow eyes, round ears, and roars. He and I fought each other, while he was older, I had more experience, so I was able to beat him. I forced him to leave, but that didn't stop him from coming back. I had a sister and a girlfriend, my sister was now an adult and married, and she was pregnant. My girlfriend was wonderful, she was nice, calm, but not afraid to defend herself. I was super happy, but then Khali came back, and he did something we thought he wouldn't do, he killed my sister and her husband, and he ripped to still growing baby out of her. He then killed my girlfriend with a bite to her throat. He brought several men with him, and they set fire to the town, and he killed my mother in the process. The black cougar got me out of there quickly, and for the whole night, I cried. Khali had succeeded in breaking my spirit. But then I met these guys, and I joined this group and we have fought poachers all over the world. We've battled Khali and his forces many times, the last time we fought, we had the help of Bengal Tigers and Asian Elephants in India to fight the men. But now it seems that he's gotten more men, and this time, I won't rest until he's dead." "Oh my, I'm so sorry for your loss darling." At that moment, Eaglebeak saw some land, the boat finally go to the shore, and when everyone got on land, they went into the wilderness, looking for a good spot to set up camp, and on the way, they saw a huge variety of animals. Wildebeests, Hipparion horses, buffalo, Giraffes, and even Straight-Tusked Elephants were present. But t the same time, they saw a pack of lion-sized sabertooths called Petriasmilus, these cats have the same coat pattern as a cheetah, and have long serrated fangs, muscular builds, and long tails for balance. They saw the Petriafelis's treeing another sabertooth cat known as a Machairifelis, these cats are the size of leopards, with the same coat as a lion, but with long canines, and rosettes like a clouded leopard. They walked into a group of trees, with a river in it. But they noticed strange stones at the rivers edge, Thundercloud went over and collected the stones and brought them back. "Let me guess, these rocks do something weird." "Better take a look in here." Said Eaglebeak when he was getting a huge book out of his bag, and it turns out he had a map of Bakula with him, hence how he knew where to go while on the sea. "It says here that these rocks can teleport a person to another place of they say where to go." Said Eaglebeak "That's perfect, knowing these poachers, they'll be in at least almost all the regions of Bakula." Said Kasi Eaglebeak got his map out and told everyone his plan. "We can use the stones to split up and go to different regions and stop the poachers at different times." Explained Eaglebeak "In that case, Fluttershy, Thundercloud, Rainbow Dash and I will stay here while Bearclaw, Lightning Strike, Rarity, and Sunset Shimmer will go to the southern jungle, and Kasi, Eaglebeak, Applejack, Spike, and Pinke Pie will go to the mighty plains." Said Tigertooth "Sounds like a plan." Bearclaw took one of the stones in his hands and spoke. "Rarity, Sunset Shimmer, Lightning Strike, and I want to go to the southern jungle." Said Bearclaw. A green aura formed around them, and then in an instant, they vanished. Then Eaglebeak took another stone and also spoke. "Kasi, Pinkie Pie, Twilight, Spike, Applejack, and I want to go to the mighty plains." The green aura formed around them and they were gone. Leaving Tigertooth, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Thundercloud to set up camp. "Okay, now with camp set up, let's find the poachers base." "We'd better not, it's getting late. We'd better wait for tommorow." Said Thundercloud "Why wait?" "Let's just say that nighttime around here is dangerous, many predators are on the prowl at this time, and there is one that you REALLY don't want to meet." Answered Thundercloud.
