You’re sat alone in a corner seat in some kind of shady bar on the outskirts of Ponyville. You’re not really sure what drove you to come to this place – you don’t even really like alcohol, and you haven’t brought any friends along with you.
Well, actually, there is a reason why you chose this pub, but it seems stupid now.
It’s actually your 19th birthday today. You wanted to celebrate in private, though, which is why you’re here alone. Being 19 doesn’t feel any different to being 18. And the reason you chose this particular pub… you were abandoned here when you were born. You never knew your mother. She abandoned you in this very pub with your father, who raised you. Just thinking about it makes you mad. What the hell was your mother thinking, just leaving you and dad like that? In a pub, no less?
You don't know why you bothered coming here. Thinking about your past always seemed to do nothing but make you angry.
You try to put a stop to your destructive train of thought by downing some cider.
This pub is actually quite a nice place. If only you had someone to share the night with.
“Heeey~” a voice calls out, snapping you out of your reflective thoughts. You look around before spotting a pink and purple mare. stumbling from side to side. She seems weirdly familiar. You must have seen her around town or something. You’ve heard people call her Berry Punch.
“Hey,” you reply. She stumbles over to you and sits down next to you, giggling softly at nothing. She’s clearly drunk. You don’t know why, but you find her strangely attractive – very attractive, actually. The way her half-lidded purple eyes stare at you, the way her slightly disheveled mane hangs over her face, or maybe the faint smell of wine coming off her… something about her is quite alluring. She's a bit older than your "type", but she looks beautiful nonetheless.
“Why are you… why… *hic* why are you… you know… people-less…” she asks.
“People-less? You mean alone?” you ask.
Her face lights up as you help her find the word her intoxicated mind was incapable of finding for itself. “*hic* yeah! That’s it! Why are you alone?”
“I dunno,” you reply. “I came here to think about things, I guess. But it’s pretty boring now I’m here.”
Berry Punch leans over to you and rests her head on your chest, staring up at you. She takes one of your hooves in her own. “That’s sad. Nobody should drink alone.” She smiles at you. “Why don’t I get you another… thing… the thing more stuff goes into…”
“A glass? A bottle?” you try.
“Yep! A blottle! Why don’t I get you another blottle,” she offers.
“You mean bottle. Not ‘blottle’”, you clarify for her.
“Yeah… blottle.” She gets up and drunkenly stumbles over to the bar and talks to the bartender, who seems to know her well enough to interpret her drunken slurring with ease.
She comes back with a bottle of some kind of alcohol. It seems really strong.
“Drink this!” Berry says.
“Uh, are you sure? It’s bubbling. Should it do that?” you ask, eyeing the firewater suspiciously.
“You’ll be fine! It never hurt me! *hic*” Berry assures you, before swaying back and forth trying to gain her balance. She fails, and falls onto your hindlegs.
“Uh….” you mutter, getting kind of hot and bothered by the current situation.
“Hey, it’s comfy here!” Berry says before snuggling into your lap.
You jolt upwards, throwing her off and causing her to sprawl along the floor. She cackles madly, apparently finding the situation hilarious.
“Heeeeey,” Berry says, “Why don’t you forget about the drink and come upstairs with me?”
“Upstairs? What’s upstairs?” you ask.
“My apartment!” she replies.
“You LIVE above the pub?” you ask.
“Yeah! Wait, no. That’s not right. Let’s go to my house!” She stumbles towards the door, opening it with her face and faceplanting the ground right outside.
“Okay, lead the way,” you say.
“Okay! …Now where do I live?” Berry asks.
This was going to be a long journey.
“Here we are!” Berry exclaims as she rams the door to her house (which you eventually found) open. The hours of stumbling around in the cool night air seem to have sobered her up. She’s no longer ridiculously drunk, just tipsy.
“Okay,” Berry says. “Let’s go upstairs…”
“What for?” you ask dumbly. You had a good idea what was gonna happen.
“What do you think?” she laughs.
“But aren’t you drunk? I don’t wanna end up getting arrested or having you write some emo blog about how I ruined your life or something…” you ask.
“Ha! No, I’m not that drunk… I’m alright now… kinda,” she says. She does appear to have reached something approaching sobriety.
“Okay,” you say, and follow her into the bedroom. She flops back on the bed and spreads her legs. “Well, that was easy,” you think to yourself. “No foreplay or anything…”
You get up on top of her and place your forehooves on either side of her head, and your erect penis next to her vagina. She smiles up at you. You bend down and kiss her, and then slide in…
“Woo! That was awesome!” yells Berry. Exhausted, you flop down next to her in the bed.
“Ha, yeah,” you reply. “Best birthday present ever.”
“Oh, it’s your birthday?” Berry asks. “Happy birthday! How old are you?”
“19,” you reply.
“19, huh? I had a son, you know, who must be about 19 now. I was really into alcohol at the time, though, and really young. I can’t remember much about him. I just remember he was born in a pub. In fact, it was the same pub I met you at earlier tonight. My mind was a mess at the time, so I ran out and abandoned him, I left him with his father… I wonder where he is today?”
You vomit off the side of the bed.
