Chapters Nightshade: a deadly plant or Celestia's own unholy creation?
Celestia is the reason for his life. He is her seed and he doesn't even know it. When Nightshade was little, he was cared for by two foster parents that loved him very much. However, the others they made fun of him for how he looked. Nightshade had the weirdest appearance ever: Celestia's hair, Luna's tail, Discord's arms and legs for hoofs, and Queen Chrysalis wing's and horn. Nightshades magic was also beyond any normal unicorns magic. Then again, Nightshade is a weird alicorn. For 6 years Nightshade was picked on and beat up. But one night, everything took a turn for the worse. Nightsahde came home after along grueling day of torture to find that everything was gone. All he found was one note, which read:
"Nightshade your mom and I have moved to ponyville. We are sorry but we only had enough money to get two tickets. We know you will do great on your own."

Nightshades mind was confused. Should be outraged or depressed? His mind was clouded. He didn't leave the room for three days. On the third day, he finally went back, but his attitude was completely different.
"Sup there freak" one of his usual bullies started to pick on him."what's the matter you ugly fre-" He didn't get to finish. Nightshade had him pinned agenst the wall with his magic and started to smash the ponies head off of it.
" Your the one that's is a freak with your screwed up face!" Nightshade Bellowed.
The alicorn focused and moved everything around in the bully's face, then sintinued to smash his head off the wall. The teachers room door flew open.
"What is going on out-NIGHTSHADE STOP THAT NOW!" The teacher yelled.
With that Nightshade dropped the bully on his head with a hard thud and walk up to the teacher with a twisted grin on his face, his eyes bloodshot as he spoke in a whisper.
"You can't stop the madness." With that, Nightshade ripped off the bully's wings off, and then tore out his spine and stabbed the teacher in the head with it. As he stood there looking at his work, he laughed. Not a dull, quiet laugh, but a insane laugh that echoed through the school. With this laugh, teachers started to come out of there rooms to see the gore.
"NIGHTSHADE, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!? SOMEONE GET THE POLICE!" One of his favorite teachers yelled. He just stood there looking, laughing, loving the work he had done until the police came. When they showed up they put Nightshade in hoof cuffs. Nightshade was only in the sixth grade, so they thought he would be scared of juvie. But they were so wrong. Very wrong. Nightshade was in love with the place, being surrounded by ponies that thought they were bad. Once they met him, he would show them who was bad. Within a week, Nightshade had become friends with the toughest criminals in juvie. The police were worried about how fast he got into this group. They had wacthed ponies be beaten and still not get in. They started wacthing him in secret.
"So Nightshade, how we going to get out of here? You said you had a plan." the leader of the group asked him
"Well, first I have to get some things and there is one thing I need from you for this to work." Nightshade told him, a devilish smile creeping on to his face.
"Oh yeah and what's that?" The leader again asked, only this time with a tint of fear in his voice.
"Your position in power." and with, that Nightshade used his magic to break the ponies legs, ripped off his tail, and crush his skull. Everypony, even the cops, were staring in horror.
"What did you do that for Nightshade? He was a good leader!" One of the group members yelled.
Nightshade twisted around and looked him dead in the eyes, then lifted him in the air and smashed his stomach on the ground, knocking the air out of him. As his victim panted for breath, Nightshade lifted him back in the air by his tail and wiped him up, then back down so fast it ripped off his tail. As the member screamed, Nightshade flew over and shoved his manticore hand and down is throat, ripping it open. He did this all in one swift motion, making sure he got no blood on himself. As the member bleed a slow and painful death Nightshade asked a question.
"Does anyone else have a problem with me being in charge? No? Good. Now go do what ever it is you do." With that having been said, everypony left, all horrified at what they just watched. Nightshade used his magic and dragged the two cops out of their hiding place.
"You thought I didn't know you were there?" Nightshade just started to laugh."Idiots"
Nightshade ripped out the eyes of on of the cop's and shoved them down the other one's throat. As the one cop chocked Nightshade turned to the one with no eyes. He broke on of his legs and snapped his neck. He then turned his attention back to the one still chocking he laughed at his agony, then ripped out his entire skeleton and threw it aside. When he was done, Nightshade looked at the four dead pony's on the ground, then at the blood covered room. He turned around and flew out to get lunch. A small group of policecolts ran into the room.
"Damn it, were too late. He already got them!" one cop said, turning to his partner.
who was turning green from all the gore.
"Sir, how do we know he did it? How do we know it was Nightshade?" One cop asked looking about ready to throw up if he had to look at the gore any longer.
"Because he left that!"
The cops looked to the wall with the bed and saw there, written in the victim's blood.
Nightshade is King. Bow before him or DIE!
Every one of the cops shuttered a little and then looked at the chief.
"Everypony get back to their posts. I will have someone clean this up and get rid of the bodies. In the meantime don't let Nightshade leave your sight. I want him being wacthed twenty-four seven, got it?" the Chief yelled.
"YES SIR" all cops replied in unison.As the cops ran back to their posts, the chief muttered to himself.
"I wish watching him was as easy as just saying it."
*Three years later*
The police colts watched Nightshade carfully not to tip him off that they were watching.
"Fools. They don't think I know they're watching. They sadden me. I thought they were smarter than that." Nightshade muttered to himself.
He let them wacth him though, it was all a game to Nightshade. A chess game. And soon they would be in check mate. Three days past before Nightshade made his first move he moved a pawn. What a pawn is to Nightshade is starting a small riot, which he did. While the small riot was going on, Nightshade grabbed a police colt and dragged him into a cell.
"This is your check mate." Nightshade spoke to the police colt then broke his neck and flew away. The chief troted back into his room after ending the small riot.
"That could have been a lot worse." The chief said to himself, a note on his desk catching his eye.
"Whats this?" The chief asked himself as he opened it.
"Dear cheif I have left a gift for you in cell thirteen."

The chief stared at the note for a minute before he realzed that NS stood for Nightshade, the chief sprinted to cell thirteen. He arrived at cell thirteen and, to his suprise, there was a group of criminals had grouped around the cell.
"Move! Get out of the way! I need to see what happenend!" The chief bellowed.
Everypony moved to the side as the chief whispered to himself "Sweet celestia."
There on the wall, writen in the cops own blood, it said
"Your move, Chief. What are you going to do?"
Shuddering, the chief told everypony to get back to there cells.
"What have we gotten ourselves into?" The chief ask himself "And how will we get out of it?"
Nightshade had already planned his secound move, seeing the chief hadn't made a move. He moved a knight, which to Nightshade means to posion the polices coffee. It was the perfect time too, because he was told to make the polices coffee today. After making the coffee and pouring it all into cups he used his magic and posioned all the coffees.
"Thats going to be a lot of bodies." Nightshade spoke to himself.
He called in the police colts and told them that their coffee was ready. Nightshade watched as all of them sipped the cups, and started to laugh the minute the first one grabbed his stomach and started foaming at the mouth. The cops looked in horror and then at Nightshade he just waved to them.
"Sleep tight dead ones."
The cops started to drop dead. Nightshade watched it all with a twisted grin on his face. He looked a one of the cops that was just barly alive and ripped him in half, then casually strolled out of the room.
The chief was in his office when a paper airplane came flying through through open door.
"What is this?" The cheif yelled into the hall. "You can just come in you know."
No one replied, so he opened the note. He read aloud to himself.
"Go to the break room and don't drink the coffee Signed: NS!"
The cheif leaped over his desk and bolted into the break room. There he found six dead police colts, one of which was ripped in half, and another bloody message on the wall.
"Next, I move my Queen."
The chief was in shock. He didn't know what to do. He had never had something like this happening before. The cheif thought and thought; what could he do? Nightshade was good at this and he wasn't. Nightshade had it all planned out. 'Time to unleash the beast,' as he called it. He moved his queen, in which Nightshade means to start the god of all roits. That night, Nightshade informed all the convicts of his plan and they liked it. Little did they know Nightshades plan had an affect on them to. That morning, all hell broke loose.
"GET THE SWAT COLTS IN HERE!" One police colt yelled over the hoard of roiting ponies.
Nightshade was no where to be found. The chief ran into his room and locked the door.
"Thought you would be safe in your office?" Nightshade yelled at the chief in a demonic voice. "Well you were WRONG!"
The chief didn't even have time to turn around before his head was smashed into a wall. Nightshades laugh echoed through the tiny office. The chief had no idea what to do. He tried to scream, but every time he did Nightshade shoved the door handle into his mouth.
"Please Nightshade, stop! I will do anything!" The chief wimpered to Nightshade. "ANYTHING!"
"You have nothing I want other than to see you die." Nightshade said to the chief. The calm and happiness in his voice sent chills down the chief's spine... Or what the chief thought were chills. Nightshade was using his magic to move the chiefs spine up and down. Nightshade sat in the chiefs chair, killing him slowly and clamly. Smashing his head off the wall and floor, moving bones around, breaking them, and, worst of all, he laugh through it all. The chief couldn't tell which scared him more: death or Nightshade.
"Well I'm bored with you, Time to die." Nightshade said as he flew over to the chief.
"What? No! Please anything, Nightshade! Anything!" The chief pleaded.
His pleads fell on deaf ears. Nightshade landed infront of the chief and whispered to him.
"Check Mate."
With that, Nightshade tore out the chiefs eyes, yanked off his ears, tore out his tounge, and ripped him in half. Nightshade stood there, looking and listening to the choas.
"This place is now useless to me." Nightshade said to himself.
He turned to look at the wall and focesed. The wall folded in on itself and he flew out. He looked back at the prison and fired a black ball at it. Screams filled the morning, rubble flew everywhere. The prison exploded, and then imploded.
"Next stop CANTERLOT!" Nightshade yelled into the morning, another smile crawling onto his face.
As Nightshade felw to Canterlot he heard something a voice.
"What are you going Nightshade and what have you done?" The voice spoke to him.
Nightshade whipped around what he saw shocked him. There in front of him was his father and mother.
"WHAT! NO YOU TWO ARN'T HERE YOU CAN'T BE!" Nightshade yelled at his mother and father.
Nightshade stared at them. He kept staring and he realised that it was his sub conscience. He started hitting his head.
"Cut it out head there is nothing wrong with what I'm doing." Nightshade said to himself.
"Yes there is." His mother said.
He glared at her with a fear spreading gaze it did nothing.
"Shut up your not real your all in my head and, and." Nightshade couldn't finish but he knew he had to beat his mind so he did. "and you left me for dead you never loved me."
"Didn't love you! Nightshade of course we loved you. You should know that." Nightshades dad spoke.
"Then why did you leave?" Nightshade asked
Nightshade started to forget they weren't actually there his mind was winning the battle for control.
"We had no choice we need to get better jobs and we knew once you got the money or finished school you would come find us in Ponyville." Nightshades mother spoke in a gently voice.
Nightshade's mind was winning. Untill his rage came to a boil trying to keep him on his corse of destroction.
"YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO LEAVE ME! NONE! WE ALL COULD OF FOUND A WAY TO GET MONEY!" Nightshade bellowed at his parent's total forgetting they weren't there.
"Like what Nightshade? Rob a bank that was about the only other thing we could do!" His father pushed his mother a side and walked right up to Nightshade.
"IF WE HAD TO YES WE WOULD ROB A BANK I-" Nightshades father interrupted him
"WE DIDN'T RAISE YOU THIS WAY NIGHTSHADE YOUR BETTER THEN THIS!" His father screamed at him.
Nightshades mind was in a war with the hate, rage, and chaos that controlled him. Everyponies life rested on which side won and so far Nightshades mind was losing.
"I WAS DEPRESSED FOR THREE DAYS DAD THREE! I DIDN'T EAT OR SLEEP ONCE I FOUND OUT YOU LEFT!" Nightshade screamed back.
"Boys." His mom said but she was drowed out by there yelling and screaming
"WE DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE WE DID IT FOR YOU NIGHTSHADE!" His father exclaimed
"Boys" Nightshades mother said a little louder but to still no prevail
"NO YOU DID IT FOR YOURSELVES YOU FOUND ME TO BE A FREAK AND DECIDED TO LEAVE ME ALONE HOPING I WOULD DIE!" Nightshade roared back at his father.
"BOYS" Nightshade mother bellowed
Nightshade and his dad jumped and looked at her.
"Nightshade you know everything we did was for the best and you know we loved you with all are hearts." His mother told him with all the worlds love and care in her voice.
"Th-then why did you leave me?" Nightshade whimpered tears starting to roll down his face. "Why did you leave me all alone? "
Nightshade broke down tears pouring down his face. In his head his mind had won the war the chaos that controled it, the rage, and hate where destroyed and replaced with kindness and caring.
"Nightshade we can't answer that questions we are only your sub conscience." His mother said.
Nightshade had total forgotten that they weren't actually there.
"Go find you real parents and ask them that question they can answer it." Nightshades father spoke to him.
Nightshade floted there, then he nodded his head.
"I will."
With that his parents were gone. Nightshade looked around to find out where he was. He was flying right over Ponyville. A smile ten miles wide grew on his face and for the first time in four years it was a happy smile not insane one. He sped down to Ponville and flew right through the open window of the mayers office. He landed right in front of her with a loud thud. The mayer jumped a mile.
"Who are you, what are you, and what do you want from me please don't hurt me!"The mayer was freaking out at Nightshade it made him laugh.
"My name is Nightshade I'm here for two reasons." He said with a gentle voice.
The mayer calmed down and took her seat.
"Very well what do you need Nightshade?" The mayer asked still on the egde of her seat.
"One i need to know if there is a place where I can work. Two is do you know where my parents are they moved to Ponyville four years ago. Please if you can only help me with one of them help me find my parents." Nightshade told the mayer tears forming in the corners of his eyes.
The Mayer looked at Nightshade he was a big pony and looked like he was made by a Mr.Potato pony company. Tears forming in the corner of the Mayers eyes she said to him with a gentle tone. "I will help you get a job later. First lets find your parents."
Nightshade started to smile and he flew over and hugged the mayer
"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" Nightshade blurted out with joy.
The Mayer hugged him back and he put her down. She strolled over to the filing cabinet and looked through it. After a good five minutes of searching she found the file.
"Ah here we are the address of where your parents live is 467 sugercube coner." The Mayer announced closing the file and placing it back in the cabinet. Nightshade started to jump up and down with glee. He flew over to the Mayer hugged her and kissed her on the cheek told her thank about six hundred more times then flew to the address. The Mayer stood there for a minute trying to figure out what just happened. Then she turned red realized Nightshade had kissed her, she felt her cheek, mumbled something, and then sat back in her chair. Nightshade flew around looking for sugercube coner. He found it and landed right on the front door of the house. Nervous he knocked on the door. He heard someone moving around inside and out of the corner of his eye he saw a curtains open then close. He heard someone running then the door flew open and his mother rapped her hoofs around him and started crying. Nightshade returned the hug and started to cry along with her.
"Honey we have a vister come see who it is." Nightshades mother yell to his father in the other room.
Nightshade heard hoof steps and looked over his mother shoulder.
"Please tell me it's not pinkie-." He never finshed he looked up and saw Nightshade. Something that Nightshade had never seen his dad do started to happen. His dad started to cry. Nightshade troted over to him and hugged him tight. That night Nightshade stayed at his parents and talked they told him everything he was happy to know the turth. Well some of it any way.
