Chrysalis was not having a good day.

There had been plenty of bad days lately, of course, ever since she'd fled her hive and begun scheming for her revenge, but this one took the proverbial cake. Captured by her own drones, dragged to her old hive, and chained down deep in the bowels of what was once her kingdom. Things couldn’t have gotten much worse.

And then the new king came to speak with her.
