Author's Note
So here we go the first chapter rewritten. Not much has change. I tried to make it more clear. If i failed let me know. I might end up needing an editor for this story as well. I really wanted to make this story better than the first time. And i feel like i would. Yes i'm going to add the same chapters with a few changes and new never before seen chapters which never made it to the story. Also let me know if you want to see something new in this story. i would love to make this story longer and better.

Chapter 1: Arrival
Chapter 1: Arrival
I looked down to the ground as the plane was descending from the sky making its way to make contact with the ground. After seven hours of sitting down and not doing anything at all i was finally returning home. the plane’s tires finally touched the surface of Earth. I unbuckled my seat-belt as we came to a stop. I stood from my seat and exited out of the aircraft. After the long waste of time at the security check I finally reached the waiting lobby where my sister was waiting for me. She waved and called my name. I smiled and approached her. She hugged my.
“How was the flight?”
“Ok I guess.”
An average day at the state of California, in a small city called Paramount. I recently finished my four year service from the United States Marine Corps my family moved to Mexico my sister stayed with my aunt in Lakewood and I stay at the same house where I was raised. My sister drove me back home. From the look on her face it looked like she has been away from the town for some time. She made the last turn before arriving home. The car finally came to stop in front of the same two roomed small home that i was raised in as a kid.
“Well Tommy…” I turned around to face my sister. “...I guess you’re home. I hate to leave so early but, I have to pick up Salvador from school.”
“Hey it’s cool Ally. I think I’ll relax for a while.”
“Are you sure.”
“Yes Ally. No need to worry about me.”
“Ok. I’ll try to visit soon ok.”
“Yeah. Take care ok.” Ally nodded and entered her Hold ON Don’t Accelerate vehicle (HONDA). She pulled out of the drive was as I opened the door. I looked around the old place. Everything was still in the same place. The sofas were still on the same wall as they always were. The T.V sat in front of the center table. The only thing different in the living room was that the carpet was replaced with tile. To my right was the dining room table. Only two chairs remaind. I figured. Knowing what I was going to spent the time here on my own. I walked into my old room my belongings still in place. I threw my bag onto the ground and I open my computer. I checked my bank account. The money I have earned along with my savings I was able to buy a house near Silverwood Lake but that house was only going to be used for the summer. I loved visiting the lake as a kid so, i thought why not buy property close. Ok to be fair I didn’t buy the house. I called in a favor from a friend to buy it for my.
Third person
Equestria
The train closed in towards the capital. A well known citizen of Equestra was called upon by the Princess to perform a spell. The unicorn and the rest of her friends stepped off the plane and onto the station. They happily trotted through the city except for a rainbow mane pegasus who flew towards the palace with her forelegs crossed along with an angry look. A white alicorn was sitting with the council of Unicorn University of Canterlot. The spell was to teleport the subject to the beach and return with an object as proof and return back.
The white alicorn said to the unicorn. “Ok Twilight Sparkle we are ready to see your spell.”
“Ok your highness everypony please step inside the circle.” All of the ponies entered the circle and they stood in their positions. The lavender mare carried her saddle bags with books and her brother had another bag that had her books in the bags as well. The young mare began to cast the spell. Wind began to twirl around the ponies. A light cyclone spun around them in a blue green color. Twilight’s horn was white due to the spell. After a few second her horn turned to red and then black she had lost control of the spell. The entire room went crazy. Windows shattered and the curtains were shredded by the violent winds. The light cyclone turned into a violent twister. After a bright flash of light the ponies were all gone.

I was driving to the house at Silverwood Lake. I had over two kilometers of land half of it was farming land which now people will be asking me how much I charge to farm since one my parents are Mexican and I speak fluent in both English and Spanish, but I don’t care and the other half was a small forest with a river running through it. The house was huge I asked my friend in the Marines to buy the house for me but she went overboard the house had six rooms 5 ½ bathrooms a large kitchen and living room, and a garage for three cars. So I decided to call her.
"Hello."
“Hello Beth.”
“Hey what’s up?”
“What’s up you bought me a house that’s family size.”
“Stop your bitching I bought for you so you can do your thing like you were in back in high school.”
“What?”
“You know what I mean Tommy you were such a player back then fuck you always know how to please a girl on the bed.”
“Beth that was then I need to move on with my life.”
“Doesn’t matter Tommy you fuck half the school girls including me.”
“That’s not who I am anymore Beth. You know that just as well a I.”
“I know Tommy. Kevin is picking me up in about an hour. I’ll...talk to you later.”
“Ok. Beth you're still an ass for buying me a huge house but thank you.”

Week 1
Day 1
“Bye.” I hanged up and walked outside I opened trunk of my truck and pulled out a box filled with guns. I grabbed my personal thing
from the car after I placed the box of guns in the kitchen. I also had another box with photos. I opened the box and I grabbed a photo
of me, my parents and sister at my uncles house in Corona. I placed the photo down and I pulled out another of me and Beth at our
high school graduation. Then I looked at another one of me and my squad in the Marines. I stared at it for a long time. Remembering
that battle. The battle where I lost a close friend to the enemy. I shook my head to regain my concentration and continue to unpack.
I looked around the place. Seems like the previous owners didn’t really cared about their belongings since everything was left
behind. I walked to the room that was the emptiest which was the master bedroom. Inside was only a queen size bed, an empty
closet, and a drawer.After I finished unpacking everything I looked at the time. I was getting ready to leave but I had to do something
first. With all the open space and no cops around to bitch around about safety.
I walked to the kitchen and I grabbed my Desert Eagle then I walked at the back with extra ammo on the other hand. I saw a piece
of old fence and I figured I can place a few cans on it and shot them off the piece of decaying wood. Before I stepped any further I
heard thunder it was the summer and it never rains here at this season I looked up but, there were no clouds. I scratched my head
when I looked back to the fence. A bright light appeared and an explosion throwing me about five feet from where I stood.
I was on my back trying to keep my conscious. I rubbed my head and I said. “What the fuck?” I picked myself up and I looked
towards where the blast was. All I found was a group of horses but I noticed some of them were wired about the. First of wall was
the color of their coats. Pink, Yellow, Orange, Dark Blue, and Lavender. Then their eyes were larger than a normal horse and they
also had horns, wings, or both. The thing that freaked me out was that they talked. Only thinking about my training. I raised my
pistol at them. I heard the male talk as he looked at me and he had some kind of armor on him. I kept my pistol raised making sure
that they weren't hostile. The male inspected my weapon for more than a minute. Then it shouted.
“He has some kind of weapon look out!” he tackled me but, I kicked off the stallion and i rolled backwards. After I got back on my
feet I punched it across the face. It shook it’s head and push me to the ground and I kicked him off. I picked myself up as he
charged at me again and this time I listened to my soldier instincts and shot him. A female voice shouted.
“Shining Armor!” I turned to see that they were all scared and I looked at the injured horse then back. He didn’t attack to take me
out he was defending them. I began to walk towards the male horned animal but I was stopped by a pink horse with a horn and
wings. She shouted at me in fear and anger.
“No I will not let you hurt my husband!” her horn began to glow. I assumed that she was going to protect him. The fact that the talk
was still freaking me out but, I did injured her husband? Anyways I was still posing as a threat to them. I had to calm her down so I
said to her.
“I’m not going to attack him. I actually regret shooting him.”
“Liar!” she yelled at me again, but I don’t blame her for not trusting me. The rest of the horses began to surround us. The lavender
unicorn and the Dark blue pegacorn had their horns glowing. If I was to convince them that I was a threat the time is now. I raised
my weapon to the air.
“Hey it was a reaction of self-defense.”
“What?” after I heard that I knew that I have confused her now. I looked at the pink pegacorn.
“I am Corporal Thomas Garcia from the United State Marines.” she asked.
“So you are a guard?” a guard now she confused me. I was a soldier not a fucking bodyguard.
“No I’m a soldier. You know people who go to wars to protect people and take out the threats that endanger lives.” She looked at me
as if I was crazy. I will not lie she did look cute with that look. I said to her. “Please if you don’t want him to die let me pass
through.” I even gave her my gun to prove to her that I wasn’t lying. She looked at the gun and them at me. She grabbed the gun and
I approached the horse and removed his armor. I inspected the body. “Doesn’t look like the bullet hit any bone or organ just the
skin I will patch him up.” I walked inside the house and I looked for a med-kit. I looked out the window and I saw them talking.
I’m sure they were trying to figure out if I was a threat or not. I walked back outside and I began to treat the stallion. After I healed
him I apologized to them they thanked me and. They still seem to be afraid of me. I won’t blame them. If they only see me in action
then there was no way they will trust me. I saw the dark blue Pegacorn approaching me. Her voice was quite soothing when she
thank me once again. I asked for their name.
“Where are my manners I am Princess Luna Mistress of the night and these is my niece Princess Cadence and her husband
Shining Armor, and these are the Elements of Harmony Twilight Sparkle sister of Shining Armor.
“Please to meet you.” She did a little bow as if I was superior. This made me feel uncomfortable but, I’ll let it slide this time. Luna
continued.
“Applejack.”
“Howdy partner.” the tipped her hat as she saluted me.
“Rarity.”
“The pleasure is all mines.” this unicorn was very polite. Kind of like my mom.
“Pinkie Pie.”
“Hi.” she zipped around me then jumped on my head and then on the ground.
“Rainbow Dash”
“Hey” she looked pretty angry. I thought back. She already looked pretty pissed of before the whole incident.
“And Fluttershy.”
“Um… hi.” as soon as i turned my direction to her she trembled and fell to the ground. Terrified was the only thing that popped into
my head. The pegacorn cleared her throat and said to me.
“So now if it isn’t so much of a bother to ask and, I hate asking for things like this when we are in an uninvited place... but what do
you have to eat?”
“Nothing actually. I just came over to unpack a few things.”
“Oh...well what...does you people eat?”
“Well Humans or scientifically name Homo Sapiens are omnivores so…” I watched as the ponies backed away. I shook my head.
To be fair they were a bunch of colorful horse. “Relax. If there’s one kind of meat that I will not eat it’s horse meat.”
“But... we are ponies.” Idiot it’s the same thing.
“You are still the same thing.”
“So how do you know how we taste?”
“I’ve tried your meat but it was terrible so I won’t eat you but that doesn’t mean I’m changing my diet for you guys.”
“Very well.” Now they were more relieved but can still hear the stomach growl.
“Wow you guys are hungry. The nearest market is about a mile from here. But first since i feel bad about what happen and I can’t let
you be seen I’ll show you to your rooms.”the light grayish cerise pony asked with a surprised tone.
“Wait you're letting us stay? Why?” . I said as I rubbed my neck.
“Well one I shoot your husband and two it’s the least I can do.” we stood looking at each other which felt very awkward. After the
moment I walked back to house but, this time the ponies followed me. I showed them around and stopped at the homeschooled kid
room. “So I went inside this one the salesperson told my friend who bought the house for me said that their eldest son was
homeschooled until his senior year of high school and if you look this room is like a…” I was cut off by the lavender mare.
“Library! I call dibs!” we all stared at her she instantly turned red. “…Opps sorry it’s just I’m a…”
The blue one said to her. “Egghead.”
“Rainbow really.”
“Well it’s true you don’t do anything but read and study magic. Speaking of which ‘cause of you we are stuck here.” I tried to
maintain the atmosphere cool.
“Hey calm down.”
“I’m sorry I did not know this was going to happen!”
“Yeah right you know maybe this is why a stallion hasn’t asked you out because your such a smartass that you might end up
hurting them with your ‘magic’. This all your fault you bucken bitch!” I look at Twilight then she began to cry and she ran off and for
some reason I stood up for her. Seriously what else was I supposed to do?
“Hey what the fuck is wrong with you!?”
“Oh look who’s defending the egghead.” I stepped towards her. I was about six feet tall. I literally oversized her even Luna stood
about two or three smaller than me. Excluding the horn of course. She was about four feet.
“Yeah look in my world you better watch yourself because no one in this is treats others like shit without getting hurt or worse.”
“So.” I grabbed her and pinned her against the wall.
“Look you bitch I may fucking hate horse meat bu,t I will break your wings off and send you to a fucken slaughter house do you
understand me!?” she was now looking at me in fear.
“Yo…You wouldn't.”
“Don’t test me.” I dropped her and she looked up at me. “You’re sleeping in the living room. I have to look for Twilight.” Princess
Luna asked.
“Why?” I answered without looking at her.
“Trust me I can’t let anyone else see you.” I walked to a counter in the living room. In the couch trying to get on his feet was the
male stallion I shot. He was breathing heavily. He looked at me.
“What...happen?! Twilight just ran off crying.”
“Something between her friend.” the unicorn tried to place on of his hooves on the floor. I approached him. “I can’t let you go.”
“What?! Why not?!”
“You’re hurt. I’ll bring her back ok.” he open his mouth to convince me to let him go. Something must have told him not to.
“Please. Bring her back.”
“I will. Hey Applejack come and help me will you.” I grabbed my pistol and one of my camping bags I use in the Marines. After a
quick check we ran off. We followed the hoof prints which she left behind. Problem was is that it lead straight into the forest.
The orange pony and I walked to the street. I came to a stop when I heard the familiar sound of a car drawing near our locating.
Reacting quickly I removed Applejack’s hat and kicked her into a near by bush. I waved at the family in the car as they drove away.
Applejack spat out a few leaved and shook herself clean.
“WHAT IN THE HAY WAS THAT FOR?!”
“Sorry for that.” I passed her hat but she quickly snatched it from my hand. We crossed the street and entered the forest.
The first thing that I noticed was a few bushes with berries on them. I noticed that the berries were not edible. I looked around
making sure that there weren’t an hoof tracks around. Luckily the tracks keep going on deeper into the forest. I passed the bush
and then towards a small creek. The pony behind me tapped my leg. I turned back and noticed that Applejack was worried about
her friend.
“Where do ya think she ran off to Tommy?” Tommy? You have been here for less than an hour and you’re calling me by Tommy.
“I’m not sure...let’s just hope that any predators haven’t found her or worse hunters.”
“Hunters?” she cocked her head sideways with her brow raised.
“Humans that kill animals... as a sport.”
“What kind of sport is that? That’s nothing but brutal killing.” I agree with her one hundred percent.
“I know Applejack. I myself don’t like the idea. I only hunt for food. You know… surviving. But as a sport not so much. Not every
human likes the idea of hunting animals for fun. But… look humans have a bad history of war and violence. The home schooled kid
left all of his books in his room so you’ll see but, first we have to find Twilight.”
“Ok.” They followed the path of hoofprints. Two cliffs were narrowing down each other.
“Looks like she went through here.” I kept looking down on the ground. There was something different with the ‘bread crumbs’
Twilight left behind. Paw prints were besides the hoofs and the distance between each print was further with every length. Shit.
AHHHHHHHH!
Applejack pushed beside me.
“That sounded like Twilight!” we heard a roar after the screaming.
“Come on I think that was a mountain lion!” we ran as fast as we could. We exited the narrow path and into a small closed opening.
We stood on a small hill.
“Twilight!” the unicorn looked at us and shouted. Reacting quicker than I did. The farmer pony dashed right passed me and slid down
the hill.
“Applejack please help me!”
“Don’t worry sugar cube I’ma comin.” She jumped in front of the unicorn and gave the oversize cat a buck in the face. But it turned
around getting ready to attack then it jumped but I tackled it before it got close to them.
“Guys are you o…ahh!”
“Tommy!” the lion jumped on my back and shredded my backpack then I turned and punched it across the face. I took off my
sweater and rolled it around my left arm.
“Come on you fucking oversized house cat.” It jumped and I placed my arm in front of me and I kicked it to the ground. I was
drawing out my gun but the lion clawed my right hand and bit my left leg. I kicked it and I took out my Marine knife and stabbed it
on the head. “Ah fuck my leg!” I looked around and saw the two ponies running toward me. Twilight said to me as I wrapped a piece
of cloth around the leg wound.
“Oh my goodness Tommy your hand. Your leg!” You too. I barely know you stop calling me Tommy.
“It’s fine the cat only bit my skin not the bone.” Applejack said me.
“Come on let’s get you home.” I looked at her body size. I was taller a probably denser a body than her’s.
“But can you carry me?”
“With the two of us we can. Well ah can since ah am stronger than Twi.” The two placed one arm around them and carried me we
walked past the dead cat We made our way back to the house. I was beginning to see the street so I told them to stop. I looked on
both side for any cars only two passed by. The coast was clear.
“Ok it’s clear let’s go.” We rushed to the house. God the leg wound was hurting like a bitch. I haven’t felt pain like this since I was in
my last battle. We entered the house. I only saw Rainbow who was laying on the couch. She said sarcastically
“Oh look you found her.” I was still pissed off at her so I shouted back at her.
“Shut the fuck up Rainbow Dash I’m in no mood for your bullshit!” We entered the kitchen where Luna, Cadence, and Shining Armor
were sitting around the table. Luna saw us come in she didn’t noticed my injury.
Luna said to us. “Oh you found he… oh my what happen to your leg!?” Applejack responded.
“Tommy found Twilight with a mountain lion so he protected us even if it took his life…” she stopped like she realized something. “…
but why did you do it Tommy.” I barely manage to answer her.
“Applejack… I’m a soldier… it is my duty to protect the innocent from any kind of danger.” I unwrapped the cloth I had around my
leg and I began to clean the wound of my hand then I moved to my leg. The blood still kept falling. “Shit I have to see a doctor.”
Cadence saw how bad the injury was so she suggested.
“Wait Tommy maybe Twilight can help.” She turned to Twilight who was freaking out at the puddle of blood under my leg. “Twilight
do you know any healing spells?”
“Yes but I don’t want to hurt Tommy. I-I-I-I-I-I don’t want to make a mistake with Tommy’s leg like I did back in Equestria.” I had to
say something about this. I was dying. I said to her.
“Twilight not helping me will be the mistake you can at least try I trust you but hurry.” I was losing blood and I began to feel cold and
I was shivering. Applejack drew closer to me. She looked at me and she asked me.
“Tommy what’s wrong?” Applejack placed her hoof on my forehead. “Why do you feel cold?”
“I…I’m losing bl…blood if you don’t hurry I will bleed to death.” Applejack turned to Twilight.
“Twilight ya have to help him now!”
“But-but what if I do something his leg! We saw what happen in Equestria! Because of me he’s hurt!”
“Damn it Twilight forget about what happen back there just heal him!”
“I-I-I-I-…” Cadence walked up to Twilight and she placed her hoof on her shoulder. She said to her.
“Twilight you need to help him. He saved your life and he treated your brother. If he dies we will be lost here.” Twilight looked at me
and then Cadence. She took a deep breath and said.
“Ok.” She walked up to me. “Tommy this is a healing spell that I normally use back home. I never used it on anything but a pony.
You might feel some pain and you might blackout as well.” she placed her hoof under my chin and she lifted my head to her face.
“Stay with me ok.”
“Ok.”
“You saved my life and I must save yours.” I saw her horn glow in a red aura then the aura formed around my leg. God for a healing
spell it hurt like hell. When the aura died out I blacked out. Suddenly I opened my eyes to see that I was in the master bed room.

I had to get Rainbow Dash back to the house. The last thing I need was another injury as if I didn’t have enough of those. I entered the forest and, I looked around. For a small patch of trees there seem to be more going than what I anticipated.
“Se esta hace algo estúpido…” I stopped when I found her sitting on a large rock near a river. She looked up where the trees had a gap allowing the skies to be seen. Just what the fuck is wrong with her?
“Ok Rainbow what’s up?” She answered hell of mad.
“I SAID NOTHING. WHY THE BUCK DO YOU NEED TO KNOW! It’s not like we are friends so don’t act like one!” On one fact she did have a point. We were not friends. But something was bothering her and, I was not going to let her feel butthurt or sad.
“Your right. We’re not friends but, I would like to be. And I think we should start right now.” I climbed on to the rock and sat next to her. “Escucha lo que te voy a decir.”
“What?” I forgot they don’t speak spanish.
“Listen to what I’m going to say. Something is bothering you and, I want to help you but, only if you let me.” She looked at me with her big rose eyes.
“Fine...I miss my world. Here I feel like I’m… a prisoner of the world. I don’t want to be mean or anything but, your world is so different and, I saw what that mountain lion did to you. If an animal did that to you imagine what would have happen to Twilight if you haven’t saved her. Your world is a dangerous place the Everfree Forest isn’t this bad. And... the clouds sort of… scare me a little.” I chuckled a little. She gave me another nasty angry glare and I stopped.
“Why?”
“For one...the clouds back home don’t move on their own. The Pegasus ponies are in charge of weather control. Unlike in Equestria I can manipulate the shape of the clouds here...” Her ears flopped down then, she dropped her head low “...but not for that long… they just keep moving.”
“So you are used to the controlling the weather back home huh?”
“Yup.”
“I can say I can relate to how you feel.” Her ears perked up and she looked at me.
“Really? How?”
“Well, I was in the military. The Marines to be exact. Sleeping in a bed not your own or, an environment you’re not use to makes you feel
like a stranger. Not exactly like you since, you are from another world but…” I stopped. I felt like I lost her. “Tell me… did you have
trouble sleeping?”
“Yeah… the room was warm and, the bed was comfy but... I couldn’t sleep. I’m used to sleeping on my clouds that’s kind of the reason
why I slept on a tree last night.”
“Wait. A tree? Really?”
“I take naps in the afternoon. I usually sleep on clouds or on one of Applejack’s apple trees.”
“Why on her trees?”
“I like the smell of the apples. Then again she always kicks me out when she’s working or has a big order.”
“Well… when I first returned home let’s just say I didn’t sleep on the bed either?”
“What? Where did you sleep?”
“Outside. Back in my home town we have a gravel patch in my backyard. So I just pulled the old sleeping bag. Coming home from a
warzone feel weird. I always slept on the floor or on ruble. I was home but… I felt like a stranger. Just like you do now.” Rainbow Dash
let out a soft laugh. She still had the troubling look. “Since you mention the mountain lion like fifty years ago. I’ve been meaning to ask
you… why did you yelled at Twilight like that? All the other ponies said you are never treat her like shit. Even Fluttershy said that she
was surprise that you didn’t yelled at her.” She instantly yelled back at me.
“Hey I said I was sorry!” My temper wasn’t always the best but, to avoid any yelling I said calmly.
“I know but, I just want to know why?”
“Oh well… sorry. Well on that day the Wonderbolts were having tryouts to join the team. I was so happy to hear the news! My dream
was and still is to be part of the greatest flying team in Equestria!” Her excitement reminded me that of a child. “I was on my way until
Twilight asked me to go with her to Canterlot. I tried telling her that I had something to do. She asked but, as soon as I mentioned the
Wonderbolts she said. ‘You and your tickets can wait for another time.’”
“Obviously she didn’t know about the tryouts?”
“She’s a Unicorn meaning no wings so… yeah.”
“If you wanted to go so badly then, why didn’t you try to convince her?”
“Element of Royalty remember?” I did a little history recheck. They did told me that they were the Elements of Harmony. How they met.
Defeating Nightmare Moon.”
“Right. I see that these Wonderbolts are like the Blue Angels of the US Navy. So that’s why you were like that with her yesterday?”
“Yeah. And I’m also sorry because of me you were injured…”
“Stop. I’m from the US Marines. I’m pretty tough.”
“Okay…” She looked at the tiny river. “... now that I told you what was wrong with me. It’s my turn to ask. What was your dream about?” I
took a deep breath. I should just kept my business where it should have.
“RD I don’t want to talk about it.” I slowly got on my feet.
“Hey I told you about my problem now it’s your turn. Now sit!” She did have a point I was able to make her talk now I guess it’s was my
turn. I sat back down on the rock. I kept my attention on the small creek.
“It was a war dream from a mission… I was in when I was in Iraq.”
“What happened?”
“My team and I were on a mission to save civilians from a hospital. We failed because of an ambush from the surrounding buildings. We
lost the civilians and, I lost my team… I…” Painful memories flashed keeping me from speaking. “… I was the only one who made it out
alive.”
Rainbow Dash and I kept quiet for what seemed to be hours. “That’s… that’s terrible.”
“My parents… never liked the idea of me joining the Marines but, I didn’t join alone. My best friends Beth and Tony joined with me.”
“Wait your government lets females in the military?”
“Of course.”
“Wow that’s cool wish I was a human now.”
“No just… stay as a pony ok. You are better off as what you are. War is not pretty.”
“Ok speaking of which who is Beth? You mentioned her like 50 times.”
“It’s getting dark I’ll tell you on the way back home at least AJ can now sleep in the shack. Or her new home.”
“Okay.” We made our way back home and I telling her who she was.
“She’s been my best friend since kinder and, I trust her very much. We joined the Marines together. Over time I think I have gotten past
that phase. But this is one thing I’m not so trusting with. ”
“What?”
“You guys being here.”
“Why.”
“I already told you Rainbow. About the government and things like that.”
“Oh… right.” I had to do something to get these ponies off my back for a bit. Too much questions and I wasn’t in the mood for answering.
It’s bad enough that Twilight wants to know everything about my world and my people. I only know so much. Thank god for those books.
“Hey.”
“Yeah?”
“You want to see something awesome.”
“Uh… sure.”
It wasn’t long until we reached the garage. I opened the door revealing the old muscle car.
“What is that?”
“This Rainbow Dash is the first generation of the Mustang. A 1969 Ford Mustang with a 429 cu in (7.0 L) Boss V8 4-barrel. This was one
and still is a BAMF.”
“ A BAMF?”
“Bad-Ass-Mother-Fucker.” She flinched back to my foul language. “In it’s time this baby could pull 375 Horsepower and 450 Torque.
Now that I’m here I’m thinking about replacing the engine with a newer V8. I guarantee I can pull even more power.”
“Um… Tommy?”
“Yeah?”
“I still don’t know what is this.” Now she made me feel like an idiot. I’m here explaining what I have planned for the car and, she has no
idea what it is.
“This is a car. We humans use this to travel to far distances by land. A hell of a lot more quicker than walking. Gas and emissions are
the only thing that’s a pain in the ass.”
“Gas?”
“Fuel.”
“Like a steam engine?”
“Yes but, they are not as common as before.”
“So an internal engine?”
“Yes.” Before the pegasus was able to ask another question she looked past me. I turned around and, saw Princess Luna looking
around. Obviously she was bored because she was looking through random boxes like a small child.
“Need something your highness?” She jumped a little. Her ears perked up and her wings expanded. I never noticed her wings they, were
really...beautiful.
“Sorry. I was not aware that you and, Miss Rainbow Dash were in here.”
“No reason to be sorry but… what were you doing?”
“I know being a Princess means containing emotions or things like this but…” It seemed that my guest was embarrassed. She rubbed
her foreleg with the other “... but, I’m… a little bored.”
“And you are embarrassed why?”
“Because you are the host and it is not my place to complain especially in an alien world.”
“True me. You have the reason. I don’t really blame you. I would be bored ass hell if I was in an unknown area.” She gave me a small
smile and looked at the Mustang. She walked over to it.
“What is this.” She tapped the door with her hoof. What the hell was she thinking she’s going to ruin the paint!
“Whoa-whoa. Don’t do that?” She stepped away and gave me a dirty look. “You can’t just do this to a classic.” She asked.
“This thing?!”
“It’s a 1969 Ford Mustang. You’ll ruin the paint.” Her next response showed me that she was a bit annoyed with my statement.
“You youngster and your precious objects.”
“Hey I’m only twenty four.”
“Twenty four?”
“Uh… yeah.”
“Torn by war at a young age.” I looked at her for a brief moment. She was speaking as if she was older than I was. She looks young and
sounds young.
“How old are you exactly? Ahh!” Okay maybe not the best question to ask because she jabbed me on my arm. God damn hooves
they’re like fucking rocks.
“It is rude to ask the age of a lady.” I rubbed my arm. I hope it doesn’t bruse.
“I just wanted to know.” she let out a loud sigh.
“I’m… over a thousand years.” I flinched my head back. What the fuck?! This bitch is over 1000 years old! What the Fuck?! Holy shit!
“I call bullshit. There is no way in hell you are that old.”
“It is true. Didn’t Twilight Sparkle mentioned my banishment?”
“Not really only that you were possessed is all. For a fossil you don’t look that bad.” her cheeks immediately flushed red.
“Well thank you Tommy.” I turned back to see the blue pegasus’s rump sticking out of the hood.
“What are you doing?” She looked back at me. Her forelegs and face was covered in grease.
“Nothing just looking around.”
“You sure?”
“Yeah. My hooves are too big to do anything on this thing.” I walked over to the front. “So if it is not like a train engine how does it work?”
Luna trotted beside me.
“Well it’s like a steam engine. Basically the engine of a car is just a large air pump. The pistons pull in air and fuel into the combustion
chamber and the spark plugs let out a small spark that ignites the air/fuel mixture. Since this is an old car it uses a carburetor. The newer
cars use fuel injectors.”
I grabbed a ratchet along with a spark plug socket and, removed one of the spark plugs. It wasn’t in bad condition. Wish I could say the
same for the carburetor. Who ever drove this thing last left gasoline in it. I really hate it when people do that. Why well the alcohol
literally eats the aluminum plating on the carburetor. That’s why with my old Trans Am I removed the gasoline.
“Without these the car will not start since there is now an opening. No spark no ignition no vroom vroom. Unless if it was a diesel engine
then, the rules change.” Luna looked at the ceramic body of the spark plug.
“I never knew your people were so far ahead of us in technology.”
“I would assume so. You guys have magic we don’t.” I placed the spark plug back where it belong. The two ponied stared in amazement
as I just turned the socket. Didn’t really understand what the big deal was. I was about to look at my watch but, I stopped when I heard
the stomachs of the Luna and Rainbow Dash.“Guess it’s time to eat huh?” the two nodded. I wiped my hands off with a shop towel to
remove the grease. Rainbow Dash on the other hand flew inside for a shower. Luna and I walked inside the house. On the carpet
Twilight was reading a book. “What you reading there Twilight?” she first look into empty space and then turned to me.
“Oh I… didn’t see you. I’m just reading some things.”
“A book on history?”
“Yes. I thought the Griffins were bad but… this is worse than they are. So many wars and, chaos. Discord would have love to live here.”
“Who?” Luna placed her hoof on my shoulder.
“Maybe another time. Twilight are you hungry?”
“Yes actually. Any ideas for dinner Tommy?” I rubbed my chin.
“Not so sure. I still have some leftover salad from this morning.”
“I guess that will do.” My phone rang. All the ponies in the room looked at me. Luna asked me as I pulled my phone out of my pocket.
“Where is that noise coming from?”
“It’s my phone.” I looked at the screen. “It’s my sister. Hello?”
Tommy?
“The one and only.” I walked to my room.
Where have you been?! I went back home to visit you because I wanted you to meet your nephew. I waited all day and I tried calling you!
“I must have been on a no service zone. Sorry for worrying you. Just… been busy.”
Are you sure you’re okay?
“Yes I’m fine. Met a few nice people and stuff like that.”
Okay. Just… be careful ok. I don’t want anything to happen like the last time.
“Don’t worry. It’s won’t happen. I promise. Maybe you can visit next week.”
I guess I could visit your new home.
“Sounds like a plan.” I said my goodbye and I returned to the living room. The mood on the other hand was not so pleasing. I group of ponies with sad faces gave me an idea. “What’s… going on.” Twilight looked up with a few tears on her cheeks but, failed to respond. She just dropped her head. Luna placed her hoof on her shoulder.
“They just realized everything that they have left behind. The elements of Honesty and Generosity have younger siblings. When they
heard you speaking to yours…” She suddenly stop.
“Fuck. I… didn’t know. It wasn’t on purpose.” Rarity wiped a tear off her side and said.
“It’s not your fault. We’re just said because we just realized how much we miss our home.”
“Well you know the saying… you never know what you have until its gone. I know you all miss your families and homes. But if anything I
know you will return home.” They all looked at me. “I know how it feels to lose someone close to you. Difference is they you will see
them again… I… won’t. Enough of this sad bullshit. I’ll fire up the grill and we’ll have dinner outside today.”
