Pinkie and Sunset were sitting on a park bench in West City, Sunset gave Pinkie a peck on the cheek “This is nice, no bad guys to fight.”

Pinkie blushed slightly “Yeah, we can just sit here and enjoy the fresh air.”

Sunset hummed as she took a deep breath of air, kids were playing on the slides and chasing each other. The heard a sound as two others sat on the bench, they raised an eyebrow as they saw Gohan and a pale woman with black hair carrying a baby, Gohan smiled “This is my wife, Videl and our daughter Pan. We decided to get some fresh air like you two did.”

Pinkie smiled “Well it’s good to have some company.”

Sunset smiled “Indeed, I must admit this is a fairly pleasant place to live.”

Videl laughed “Well aside from the odd world ending calamity, we have it pretty good. Crime is at a standstill now that Krillin is part of the force, in fact Gohan has told me a lot of good things about you.”

Pinkie and Sunset blushed “We’re nothing special.”

Gohan blinked “You’ve got to be joking, you saved the world twice that should be something to be proud of!”

Sunset slumped over “It wasn’t that long ago, I was just another bad guy. Sure I didn’t have any power for a while but as soon I got it I went power mad and brainwashed everyone. I should have been executed on the spot for what I did but I was given a a second chance, one I’m still not sure I deserve.”

Pinkie shook her head “It’s in the past, you can’t keep dwelling on it.”

Sunset turned to Pinkie tears forming in her eyes “I still get nightmares, that you failed to stop me. That you all died because of my foolish arrogant actions.”

Pinkie hugged Sunset “That didn’t happen, I’m with you all the way no matter what happens.” Sunset slowly began to cry on Pinkie’s shoulder.

Pinkie frowned "Sunset, I need to ask is it getting better? You have been having moments like this for months, I just want you to be okay.”

Sunset smiled weakly tears flowing from her eyes “I used to get these nightmares every night, now it’s once every two weeks. I’m scared of being praised, I can’t let it get to my head again or else I’ll become the demon again.”

Pinkie gave Sunset a kiss on the cheek “It will okay, I will help you through this. You are shining star of my world and I will keep you safe from the darkness.”

Gohan smiled “You two are really are a perfect pair.”

Sunset smiled “Thanks, Pinks never stop being the kind considerate person you are.”

Meanwhile in a floating realm of reality, Night smiled at Aurora “Those two are reconnecting well.”

Aurora nodded as she looked at the small orange shard and small pink shard in front of them “Soon they will be ready for us to return what we took from them eons ago.”

Night frowned “I just hope it will be enough, still you remember what they used to be like.”

Aurora grimaced “Lazy and arrogant with the idea that they could just sit back and do nothing for what they had created. I just hope they are not like that when we return those shards to them.”

Fate frowned as she materialised “If they do, you have no right to complain. You are meddling with my universes so if anything bad happens to them it’s on your heads.”

Night rolled her eyes “Relax, it will be fine Fate we have this under control.”

Fate frowned “I’ll hold you to that.”

As soon as Fate left Aurora growled “Night, there is a chance something could go wrong! Do you think we can just relax?!”

Night shrugged “We got this. don’t worry about it.”

Aurora growled “You said the same thing when we tried to stop Princess Twilight from getting whisked off to another dimension and then all we did was cause her to suffer from amnesia!”

Night growled “It thought I told you to never bring that up! I am going to beat your head in, you piece of shit!”

Fate rematerialised next to them and knocked them both unconscious, she sighed “If you two are dictating the future of the multiverse with your plans then I’m deeply concerned.” She took a deep breath as turned to events unfolding wondering what would happen to her universes because of this mess.
