Octavia is carrying her Cello through the halls of Canterlot High, just as she is heading into the music room someone bumps into her knocking her over. She grabs her Cello and stands up “Who was so uncouth to be running through the hallways like…”

She blinked as she saw someone who looked like her except instead of the finally brushed hair and purple dress over a white dress shirt, with white socks and black dress shoes, her double had a wild Mohawk down the middle of her head while wearing a black shirt with word ‘rock on’ stamped on it in big red letters as well as a pair of black ripped jeans and a set of fishnet stocking leading into a a pair of black boots.

Her double stood with a grin as she picked up her guitar case “Hello luv, my name is Octavia ‘Rocky’ Melody.”

Octavia’s jaw dropped “But my name is Octavia Melody, how are there two of us?”

Rocky shrugged “I don’t know but call me Rocky, I wonder how Viola is doing right now?” Octavia was thinking the same about Vinyl at the same moment

Meanwhile in one of the music rooms, Vinyl was testing out some music she mixed when a voice from someone clearly from a more well-off family complained “What is that horrendous racket?” Vinyl stormed over to where the voice came from only to see someone who looked like her except rather than having Vinyl’s wild hairstyle and clothing, she wore a fancy blue dress with a violin resting on her shoulder, a pair of high heeled shoes on her feet.

Vinyl’s double frowned “Who are you?”

Vinyl frowned “Vinyl Scratch” she then growled “what was that you were saying about my music, do you want to start something?”

Vinyl’s double blinked in a mix of shock and confusion “But my name’s Vinyl, Vinyl ‘Viola’ Scratch.”

Vinyl frowned “How about I call you Viola for now, it will be easier for the both of us.”

Viola nodded “I agree” she then apologised “I’m sorry about what I said about your music, it was just so loud and I couldn’t play my violin properly so could please turn it down?”

Vinyl grinned “Sure, just be careful what you say you may give people the wrong idea.” As Vinyl returned to her desk she wondered who else was meeting with a double.

Sweetie Drops was busy walking through the hallway, wondering were Lyra ran off to when an excited girl carrying a bunch of candies ran into her. Sweetie Drops frowned “Who are you and why did you…?”
Her eyes widened as she realised the girl looked like her in almost ever way except with a very wide smile on her face “Hi I’m Bon Bon, you look like me, actually can you help my friend Lyrica I was going to give some chocolate to help her keep her energy up, intensive magic exhausts her.”

Sweetie Drops blinked “Wait your friend can do magic, real magic!”

Bon Bon nodded “Yes she can, can you help me find her.”

Sweetie Drops pushed the confusion and shock away “Yes but you must help me find my friend Lyra as well.”

Meanwhile Lyra was looking for Sweetie Drops, just as she was walking through the hallway she saw a girl wearing a wizard’s hat and wizards robes carrying a book with arcane symbols on it. Lyra ran over exictedly “You like magic too?”

The girls turned around her hands glowing, she levitating Lyra into the air “What kind of strange doppelganger are you and why are you here?!”

Lyra tried out get out of the grip “I’m not a doppelganger, I don’t even know who you are!”

Lyra's eyes widened as the girl took off her hat, she saw a pair of brilliant golden eyes like her glaring from a pale spring green face with hair the same colour a Lyra’s, the girl growled “I am Lyrica Heartstrings, intermediate mage and you are a clone!”

Before Lyrica could do anything bad Bon Bon bowled her over causing her to lose concentration. Sweetie Drops meanwhile ran toward Lyra catching her before she could hit the ground, before Lyra could say anything Sweetie Drops shoved her tongue down her friend’s throat.

Lyrica grimaced “Why did you stop…” she blinked in confusion as she saw the two girls kissing “okay maybe I was a little hasty in jumping to conclusions.”

Viola walked over with Rocky, Octavia and Vinyl “Yes you did there are more than just two counterparts of all of us and none of them seem to be causing issues.” Shortly afterwards the group of eight got to together and formed a solid group of friends, as well as at Lyra’s insistence starting a magical club to learn how to use magic.
