Pinkie was really getting into the party everyone was partying excitedly, she smiled as tall man with three eyes and a green toga looking garb approached her with a smile “My name is Tien” he then tapped a white floating doll looking thing “this is Chiatzou, my best friend.”

A guy wearing a white Shirt and grey pants waved to them as he ate some cake, Tien laughed “That’s Yamcha, he’s a bit of goof but he means well.”

Meanwhile Sunset was standing by herself leaning against the wall at the edge of the party, she was about to leave to find a place far away form the loud noise the party was making when a tall green being wearing a purple gi with a white cape and turban approached “I saw you were leaving, why?”

Sunset turned away “I don’t want to talk about it, it doesn’t matter, who are you anyway?.”

The being frowned “My name is Piccolo. Now it obviously does matter if you are all the way out here where the loners like me and Vegeta the short armoured guy with the spiky hair leaning up against the wall over there.”

Sunset sighed “I just don’t feel like I deserve any of this, I almost killed six good people for my own selfish goals and yet they all forgave me despite what I had done, I am scared of this power what if I turn bad and hurt someone again.”

Piccolo frowned “I suppose I should tell you I wasn’t always a good guy, I am the reincarnation of Piccolo Daimao an evil Namekian who forgot his origins and sought to bring harm to the world. I was evil too for a time, I tried to kill people and take over the world.”

Sunset blinked “What changed?”

Piccolo smiled “You know that tall guy with blue vest and the glasses, well his name is Gohan the son of Goku and he was who changed me. After his father died…”

Sunset shouted “Wait he died!”

Piccolo nodded “We have a magical set of wish granting Dragonballs that summon an eternal dragon that can bring the dead back to life. Goku gave his life to defeat his brother and Gohan was the first person to ever show me respect and kindness thinking I could be more than a villain that I could be someone better, to the point when two stronger saiyans came I was willing to give my life to save him.”

Sunset sighed“That reminds of my friends, especially Pinkie even though I wronged them they are more than willing to give me a second chance.”

Piccolo turned to her “Join your friend, I’m sure she’ll be glad.”

Sunset smiled as she walked over to Pinkie and gave her a hug “Thank you for being a good friend.”

Pinkie smiled “Don’t worry about it, I simply am glad that you’re happy. In truth that is my goal in life, to make people happy.”

Sunset nodded with a smile “That is a good aspiration to have.”

Pinkie sighed “I wasn’t always like this in truth I was quite a miserable person when I was younger I lived with my parents and three siblings at the Pie family ‘Rock Farm.’ I had very few friends and worked hard every day, it was one holiday that changed everything for me I stayed with Aunt and Uncle, Mr and Mrs Cake for a couple weeks, I was six and my birthday was coming up.”

Sunset blinked “What happened?”

Pinkie slumped “Well they asked if I had any friends if I wanted to invite to my Birthday Party. I asked them two questions that horrified them ‘what is Birthday Party and what are friends?’”

Sunset wrapped her arms around her as Pinkie teared up “I have not seen my parents since. I was removed from them as Mr and Mrs Cake believed they weren’t caring for me properly. I struggled after that becoming biter and cruel I broke a kid’s leg just for talking to me. I bumped into Rainbow Dash helped me as she resisted all my attempts at cruelty, with her help I learned how important joy is and devoted my life to spreading it, when I saw where you lived and how you acted I saw who I could have become without Rainbow Dash.”

Sunset smiled tears forming in err eyes “Pinkie thanks for helping through all of this, I don’t know what I would have done without you.”

Pinkie dried her tears “Sunset, I’m your friend, friends help each other. You helped me today by listening to me allowing me to share a part of my past I haven't shared with anyone else, thank you Sunset.”

Sunset smiled as she released her friend from her hug, before the conversation could continue they heard a low growl of fury. Pinkie turned to see Beerus glaring at her, Whis put his staff in front of Beerus, Whis spoke with an air of finality in his voice “Enough, I must teach these two how to use their powers and to help…”

Sunset added “Sunset.”

Whis nodded “… help Sunset become comfortable with her powers” he then turned to Beerus “You will not cause any trouble while I do this.”

Beerus grimaced “Fine” Pinkie and Sunset enjoyed the end of the party before falling asleep in one of the rooms inside the ship.
