The first to third somewhat will get boring, becuase it is, but only for a limited amount, okay?
I’m a terrible writer with no skill whatsoever, so please provide positive feedback.
Hope of The Broken
Light scorching through my eyes, blinding me.
I lie awake, in a figurative position. Both my hands were twisted in an awkward manner, probably dislodged or broken. The ground that I was lying at was rough, like sand, or gritting paper. I feel a burning sensation, but not too sure if it’s actually the heat or not. My eyes were closed shut, and to my surprise, it took quite a while to figure out what actually was going on, matter of fact to see the way my body was probably flung to oblivion.
I tried to open them, but to no avail. Sure, I did get it done, but it took quite the while.
Something that I didn’t think of was the non present pain. Just looking at my arms and legs were already scary enough, mind you, and surely these twisted jelly like parts of mine would inflict some damage. Strange enough, they didn’t. Like a computer rejecting a signal. I couldn’t move too, which was pretty damn obvious. My clothes were almost burned to ash, all but my pants, and some parts of my shirt. It was blistering hot, the sun beating me up, but numbness fils in instead of pain.
I laid there for a long time, too long to actually remember just how much time I wasted on staring at the scenery. One thing that I didn’t thought of was the long stretch of grass, filling my canvas.
And then I began to ponder.
Just how did you get into this shit hole?
And where is this ‘shit hole’?
Why can’t I remember a damn thing?
Think, brain, think!
Nothing.
Just nothing.
I probably panicked a little, but with my legs and arms immobilised, the only thing I can do was scream. And scream I did.
The thought of memory loss was just a scary thing to think of by itself. What if I forgot something very important? Maybe something that could make sense of my existence in this deserted wasteland? And how do I get back home? I can’t stay here, I’ll die!
Then again, do I have a home?
I don’t really have a home, as far as I can remember.
Wait, no. I can’t remember anything.
That’s the word I’ve been looking for.
Anything.
Or perhaps, nothing.
“Hello!? Somebody!? Anybody?! I need help! Hello!”
Silence.
Again I scream.
“Hello! I need help! Anybody!”
Yet again, silence fills the accord.
I waited for a long time, gaining the strength and will to shout for help.
“Hello!”
“Help!”
“Somebody..”
And then I waited.
2 hours of panic and shouting later, nobody comes to my vision.
Inside, my body craves.
I just want somebody.
Somebody to come.
But instead, there’s nobody.
No familiar faces, no family, no past, no friends, nothing.
It’s all blank.
Like a clean slate.
Then what am I suppose to be?
I don’t know my past self.
Nor can my people of my time can help.
How can retrace my steps and become the person I was, without the only thing attaching me into it?
Maybe I’m a little too panicked.
Yeah. Maybe that’s the point.
Let’s just take a moment.
Relax, take a breather.
I take a long breath, and let the thoughts flow away with the release. Just, let it all go. For now. Then I can think more clearer. There’s no point to panic, just to scream to no evident cause. I probably spent about 5 minutes or so, just clearing my head from those nasty and discouraging questions.
And now, I think.
One at a time.
I focus all of my brainpower that I had left, and targeted one question, that would be the easiest one out of the bunch my dumbass brain decided to think of. Besides, I’m gonna die by hunger or thirst any day now, so it’s pointless to actually get help, or trying to survive. And from the looks of it, no water nor food is in sight for a long extend.
Where am I?
That one was a pretty obvious. I’m nowhere. No houses, tress, scenery, just open fields off grass, stretching miles ahead of my vision.
Who are you?
Ahh. Now that’s a pretty easy one. To be honest, I don’t know. I have no recollection of anything really, and I don’t think I will for a long time.
Where’s home?
Another one. I don’t know, yet again. It’s pretty evident my memory is for shit, and nothing is in value nor view right now.
Why are you here?
There’s no reason to know. I might have been in a fight or something, and my legs and arms are thwarted. If there was a fight, pretty sure I lost. Badly.
While questioning, I saw a figure of a man, or perhaps a woman, I’m not too sure. I see it coming towards me, fast, and immediately I was rushed with fear, and weirdly enough, hope. First off, is this the person who probably beaten me up to shreds?
Or is this the person who will bring about my survival?
Any who, we will find out sooner or later.
It continues to come at my direction, and for some reason, that just worsens the fear factor in this scenario. Whatever it is, there’s no hope of escaping.
Take it to account.
After a straight minute of running, it stops to a halt. At first I was quiet the man to question this action. Why stop? There’s no reason to. I mean, if he either wants to finish the unfinished job, or help me to actually get out of this situation, it would have gone to me, not half way.
The figure pulls out a strange object out of what I suspect was from the pocket. Don’t know what, don’t know why. It begins to tap the object repeatedly, in a swift motion. My guess that it’s a phone, but you never know.
Well then, a phone I remember, but not family? Fucks sake.
It pulls the object back into it’s side pocket, and rushes towards my direction once again.
Let’s set things clear. I am in an near death position, my arms and legs are jelly, and I can’t do jackshit, and a man, or woman, or anything really, is coming to me. There’s no escape. The only thing I can do is hope.
And so, I closed my eyes shut, and prayed that this will end in a good way.
All while ignoring the sun blazing throughout my scenario.
The sun greets me yet again.
It’s not blinding this time, but more so in a calm way. It’s like the rays are shimmering, sometimes hitting my eyes, sometimes not. Huh. Weird.
My arms still couldn’t move, but it seems like it’s heavier. Like somebody placed a brick on top of it. My legs are the same as well. It also feel’s like something is wrapping it, but I’m not sure just what. I’m no longer bound to the grass that I was previously in, more so considering the fabric like cotton under me.
I decide to open my eyes, trying to at least see something besides white bright light. I’m in a cubed room of some sort, all painted in white. The door to the left has a clear mirror in the middle of it, and next to me is a table, with a empty ceramic cup, topped of with a bottle of water.
The bed that I’m laying in is completely white. A small but noticeable funnel was inserted into me, with a piece of tape, if I’m not mistaken, attaching it. My clothes, which were burned out and filled with holes, were now changed into an all white clothing set, with a short sleeved shirt and long pants.
My hands are now twice the size they used to be, but maybe it’s because of the fabric wrapping my arms. My legs are the same, but not noticeably bigger.
After I checked my area, I tried to think what was the last thing that happened.
I believe that it was me, seeing a figure running straight to my direction, and I passed out soon after. But I couldn’t figure out what that figure was. It seems as though that was the most recent thing, but then again, the memory of me in this action is kind of blurry. I assume that it was the truth, and rolled with it.
But why can’t I remember anything else?
Wasn’t there supposed to be not one recollection, but many others? I have a life after all. Why can’t remember the past, but only that one instance?
I continued to ponder, the clock ticking down for what seems like forever. All the time, all that I was thinking was about my memory.
A knock, soon after, breaks the silence.
“Hello? Are you awake now?” a voice exclaims. I couldn’t see the exact figure of the person, but there’s no harm in replying.
Right?
“Y-Yes. I’m awake now.”
And so, with my sentence, the door bursts open slowly, making a loud sound of a creek. A teenager, with yellow skin and pink hair is seen barely visible from outside of the door. She slowly creeps inside, slowly and gently. Like she’s afraid of something.
She walks over to me, and sits down to the chair next to the before-mentioned table, her hands overlapping with each other on her thighs. Her eyes were full of colour, but it soon changes to a more dilute approach. Her wide smile has now turned to a frown gratitude for sadness, and from the looks of it, just the look of my broken body is making her touched.
...does she know me?
I’d imagine her as a nurse or something, but no nurse would be wearing a sleeveless white top. And her emotions are actually responsive, not like any other nurse out there. This has to be somebody I know.
I once knew.
Her mouth begins to open, about to say something. Before she could, she coughed, and held back her words. She mustered again, her voice broken and abundant.
“Thank goodness your alright. I found you in a patch of grass, pretty far from Sunset’s place. You were set broken, but your alright now.”
I didn’t reply. Instead, I stared at her blankly.
What home?
Who’s home?
Who’s Sunset?
With my mind filled with questions, I ask simply one of them. I take a deep breath, and took the time to say it. This will be devastating for her, I know it, and this will break her apart.
But not me.
“I-I’m sorry. But I don’t know you.”
Silence abridge.
“How? You know us, me, I know it! Your one of us, and always will be!” she retaliates without any hesitation.
“Who is this, us? ”
“The others of course!”
“Just who is this so called ‘others’?”
“Twilight! Rainbow! Applejack! Rarity! Pinkie! Sunset! All of them! You can’t seriously forget everything, can you?!”
I decide to do nothing, and give her a apologetic frown.
She instantly responds, closing her mouth with both of her hands, while tears flow down from her blurry eyes.
“Oh my gosh. You did.”
“You actually did.”
“All those years, gone.”
“Those memories.”
“Those moments.”
“I’m sorry.”
She bends over to me, arms reaching to my waist. I push back, not knowing why, either gag reflex or my own consciousness. Either way, it was a shit move.
She looks over to my eyes, and her tears stopped to flow.
“Oh. I see now.”
I look down, ashamed of myself. I could’ve just accepted her offer, instead of aggressively reject, just like that.
“I’m sorry. It’s just that, I’m in a completely new world, filled with new faces and new people. Not everything, or everyone, I can trust.”
“You can trust me. You can count on that.”
“How can I be so sure of that? Sure, you can say these things, but in reality, that doesn’t add up to anything.”
“Please, Jason. Just give me the chance to make it up again.”
Jason.
A name.
An actual name.
A male, for a fact.
I muster.
“I-Is that my name?”
“Yes. Yes it was, and still is.”
After hearing that, I weigh down the two options laid down upon me.
Reject or Accept.
Yes, she said a name that I’m sure isn’t her own. But then again, she could’ve just make one out of the blue, can’t she? It’s possible, and could be well thought.
Well, clearly a name is simply not gonna make the cut. I need more. Something solid. Something evident. Something that you simply can’t make out of thin air.
But then, why did she come here in the first place? No way she entered without any warning, neither any caution, just to let down her water on me.
I guess there’s no harm accepting, right? Even if I decide to reject, where next? She is my only lead, my chance to find life once more.
A quick gush of air escapes from my unconsciously held breath. I grit my teeth, head looking down. I’ve made my decision, as well as the first step to it. This action will change my life, and it’s my choice to interpret it as bad or good. I’m not sure this is the true, real thing that I was attached to, but right now, I don’t care.
I’ve lost everything.
Time to regain hysteria.
“Show me these friends of us.”

I actually feel a sense of pride inside of this chapter.

Igniting The Flame
One by one, all 7 had entered.
Each one wears a different type of outfit, with a different skin colour each. Okay, that was a lie. Not all were different. They all brought concerning faces inside the room that I was contained in, but whenever I glance at them, all they did was that they brought up a smile to me. They’re hiding their concerns, and anxiousness, locking me away from it.
I guess that’s just for the better.
They talked with each other at first, making a not so big circle for the seven of them to whisper their words. It was located at the end of the room, just right next to a corner. But since this place is small and cramped, it wasn’t that far.
The talked for about five minutes or so, with their expressions being aggressive, and a little sparkle of sadness. Gut sense tells me they were talking about my tensions with the girl previously, and my confession of amnesia. It makes sense for them to worry. For long sure they stayed with me, becoming my friend, and went through thick and thin, as a group.
Together. Or at least, that’s what they would say.
I have no voice of my own.
My recognition is gone. Nothing I say is point point-full, and sure for shit that I can’t prove anything, except for the information I got after amnesia wiped my memory clean.
I have no knowledge. No past.
But at least I have a future.
A future that hangs in the balance.
They broke up from the little association they made a couple minutes ago, and stride over to my bed. The 7 of them formed up in front of me, one by one, I glance them. If at least I can spot just one person, then I’ll be glad. One is better than none, right?
Their pupils reflect my image upon my own self. For once, for all I could remember, I can see my body, lying ragged on the white sheets. I almost feel sorry for myself, in a way, since the body that I have always lived in will remember the scars, till they burn to ash, but my soul can’t detect a single one, the exception being me lying in the sun, how many days ago, I don’t know.
I’m sorry, me.
I left you suffering alone.
And so, I glance at each one, at a time, trying all my best to remember. I have to be quick. I don’t want to make them have a sense of awkwardness.
...one. ...two. ...three. ...four. ...five. ...six. ...seven.
No.
Nobody.
I remember nobody here.
Either I’m the stranger, or they are. I don’t know, but the only thing I have truly traverse is that they care for me. Take that into account. They took the time to actually go to a random somewhat nobody with an empty shell, mind you, and still had hope in me, even though I don’t even recall them. I even admittedly told them this, and it was no blatant prank. I’m not planing to surprise them, saying ‘hey, chill, it’s just a prank!’, do I? No, I do not, and I don’t intend to. It was real. All of it.
They stood in silence, hands jittering and faces shattered in discord. One tries to desperately do a fake smile, and it would have worked, if it was good. Truly it wasn’t. But out of all the people in this room, she was the one holding back the most. I can sense it. If something were to be the blame, it will be me, but c’mon now. Everything is me in almost any scenario I’ve encountered.
Her face tells most of it. Just the way she holds her face up was like her carrying a boulder. She keeps to take down the mask and let the expression out, and puts it on whenever I make eye contact with her. She keeps on wiping her eyes, like something is bugging it.
The most obvious fact about this girl was her hair. It was the colours of the rainbow, and my guess that she dyed it on purpose. Or it was natural, I dunno. I’ve seen pink, yellow, red, green, and a couple more hair colours before, I’m assuming, that is if my life is actually about me seeing the outside world rather than indoors, and I know for a fact there’s much more abundant types of naturally born colours of hair, but not the entirety of the rainbow. Sure, one or two is a thing, a trio is really rare, and seven is outright impossible.
But who am I to judge? I know absolutely nothing.
Who says knowledge is important?
Yeah, they were kinda right about it.
On the other hand, the others seem to have the gist of it already. Most of them have their straight faces set up in a way, that even I can’t figure out, whether it’s a hoax or not. But to be honest, I don’t care. I don’t need to care. Hell, why should I? These people are infinitesimal to the life I’m living now, not the past, and so, why should I give attention or care towards something that I can’t even know being true, albeit my entire past has been with them?
I’m a new me now.
I don’t know who the other me was, but for fuck I’m certain he’s gone.
I decide my life right now. Nobody else does. A clean slate, a new beginning.
“Soo, umm....what do we say?” the girl I confronted asks the other, whispering so that I can’t hear it. She must be terrible at secrets. She brings forward a confused expression to them. They look at each other back, in their heads lie the same exact question, but only relying on the other to finish the said question. They have nothing to say, not now at least, and the room fills in with nothing but awkwardness. I manage to save them from this terrible sense. Just.
“You know, you guys don’t really have to say anything if you want.” I shrug off. It’s a long shot, and most definitely they will not follow, but c’mon, anything but the awkwardness of a lifetime. They shot they’re glances back at me, and quickly I duck my head under the pillows. Like a shy, timid guy.
Wow, that sounded wrong for a person found burnt and shattered.
“No, no! It’s just..” she trailed off, her eyes getting hazy, all while her cheeks turn crimson red. It makes sense nonetheless, she wants to retaliate, but realised she had just placed herself in the pit. There’s nowhere to go except confess now. Admit that she was wrong and that there’s nothing to even say at the first place.
At least that’s what I thought.
One of her friends jumps in at the last second, barely cutting her sentence, and her expression. It almost seems as though uncooperative, and kind of messy, in my eyes. Can they just at least work together to form a sentence?
“Look, Jason. You might not know us, but we know you. We’re your friends. Your okay with that?” she asks. I agreed, and nodded like a bobblehead. It wasn’t just an expression either, I really did bobble like that. That dumb question was just there to over her lack of words, and I punched it out clearly.
Man, I’m a dick.
“Good. Let me show you my- our friends.” She continues, in rapid fire, almost as if she was trying to get this done and ready ASAP. She stumbled a little on the word my- possibly meaning her friends, not mine.
Let’s hope we get of this hard start with a good one.

Continue The Path We Took
In just a week’s notice, I was out.
Sure, it was costly. Even though I was discharged quiet early, way so than any other person with a concussion, plus broken arms and legs, I still couldn’t walk properly. So, a wheelchair was the only solution. I didn’t really like it that much, to be honest. The metal handle was rusted, so does the rest of the handicap helper. The wheels offer a loud ass screeching sound that when amplified for a day or so, can provide a sever case of tinnitus, and it always stutters. Like, always. Don’t even let me talk about it.
The way home was a bit more awkward than I imagined. We all had to cramp our bodies inside Fluttershy’s car, which was a small Cooper, mind you, plus me with this unbearable wheelchair. It took quite the time and the hassle, but with enough effort, we squeezed our little bodies inside the small red beetle like car and drove off, to where I don’t know.
Inside, there was no confrontation, nor was there any contact, either verbally or physically. My guess was that the tension was high, and I would be more right than ever. They just lost a part of me. Part that I don’t even know of, and part that I can’t feel sympathy for. I keep my mouth shut, and let the music of the radio drown me away from the scenario.
I don’t know how long exactly we were in that small cramped car, probably long, but I’m not certain. The sound of the music, the harmony of the outside world, kept away by the glass windshield, the cars breezing right beside us. It all helps me keep my calm. Their calm. For a while, I ignored the reality around me, and gazed upon the beauty of the world, truly an amazing scene it is. For once, I get the gut feeling coming inside of me. It rings from the top of my head, all the way through the entire system. I sense it, and yet can’t comprehend.
‘I want to let go.’
Just to go out of the tension around, to be free of the past that I don’t even hold recognition to. I’m tied, shackled upon the events behind me, one that I don’t know, and don’t care. All I want is freedom. Away from despair. From necessity. But I can’t. If I let go now, I will be alone. Lonely. Just a soul wondering about with nothing to do and nowhere to go. I can’t let that happen. Then all of my life would be for nothing. The general effort of surviving is wasted, all like that. I’ve come a long way. I can’t let it all be.
After how long I don’t know, we finally reach the point of our destination. To my left, is a small red house, puny from all of the others from the residential, and far dimmer than any other house I’ve encountered up to date. Sure enough, it was little. The only homes I’ve seen were the ones next to the road, during our little journey. The blinds are open for the whole world to see the inside, which to my surprise, had furniture. Such a mellow house, yes, but I didn’t think somebody would live here.
We open the doors and reluctantly let ourselves out from the Cooper and directed our orientation to the small home I’ve just mentioned. I, for one, peculiar. Why here? These girls seem like they’re in the assistance of parents, and of course they have money. This looks like the average old Joe’s drug lab. How I know that joke, I’d care less. Up front at the porch lies a mailbox, seemed like beaten up and battened. To be fair, it got far more damage than my body. Just.
I raise my voice in question of authority. And sarcasm.
“Who’s house...is this?”
They raise an eyebrow, either offended or not. Sunset was quick to reply however.
“Mine. Well, it’s yours too. A part of it.”
This time, I raise my eyebrow.
“It’s a long story.”
Yeah, that’s acceptable. I mean, it’s useless to tell it now, or anytime later, taking the fact that I might not even know what they’re talking about. I lost my memory, after all. It’s common in any situation. The red mellow house I continued to stare.
“So, I guess we enter?”
“We’re just gonna drop you here. Nothing much.”
“Huh.”
And so, they wave their goodbyes, and entered the Cooper yet again. The engine rumbles to life with a loud burst, and off they go. I wave silently at them, making sure my straight face doesn’t make a sympathetic look. The last thing I want them to do is to make them even more worried. I sank their hearts deep, and it’s something I don’t even recall. Better not do it more.
I spin around, a screech echoing while at it, and gazed upon Sunset’s dim house. She goes over to the front wooden door, and reaches down her pocket, grabbing a key out. She unlocks the door, and invites me in. I reluctantly followed through, avoiding the patches of grass. Wheels and grass don’t mix, y’know. Especially when it’s long, like in this case. I’d appreciate me not to trip face first, 180 angle due to uncut leaves. That’s just damn embarrassing.
I make my way to the door, and set my eyes upon the inside of the living quarters. It’s insanely small, only filled with a white rag, 2 mediocre sized brown sofas. A small glass countertop sit nicely at the middle, creating a sense of harmony. A TV hangs up front of me, looking minuscule. The walls are all painted in a way that makes it feel enclosed, even though it shouldn’t. The light shade of white blue really does make the living quarters small. Next to my left behold the kitchen. To be fair, is shouldn’t even be called a kitchen. The only things there is just a small table and chair, and a fridge. Not to forget a marble tabletop, with a basket of fruit being displayed.
Just because some fruit are showed to the people who enter, it doesn’t make it a good house. It’s still mellow. I open my mouth to speak, or better yet, to evaluate.
“Cool house.” I grinned, with a hint of sarcasm in my choice of words.
“Oh, y’know. Haven’t cleaned up in a long time.” She mumbles, probably to fast for my ears, all while waving her hand up.
Something about her words makes me shiver a little. She sounds too easy. Too...simple. No sense of despair or non tranquility inside of her voice, as if it was pitch perfect. Hell, too perfect. She gets out her sentence in a snap, like second nature, yet still keeping her calm. It’s not just her speaking, too. Back in the car, she seemed so relaxed, so vague. Like she doesn’t give a damn. She just keeps her head cupped to her arms during the ride back home, looking over to the right side of the scenery around.
“Don’t be that stoic. I can take it.” I muster off, head down fuck, arms crisscrossed together. She gives me a look, that devilish stare that could just make any person feel agitated. And she nails it head on. All before she sighs, and turns her head down.
“It’s not just because of you. It’s for my sake, too.”
“What, are you talking about?”
She takes a deep breath, and sighs again. This time, deeper.
“I’ve handled a lot of things before. Hard things. Things that, in your state, I’m sure that you won’t understand. You just being here is already hurting. You remind me of it.”
She continues with a heavy heart.
“I’ve lost a lot in my life, but losing you? I can’t. It’s just to much.”
The tingling sensation comes back, and I answer her statement by gut force. Not that I want to, but because I can.
“Let me guess. Humiliation.”
She raises an eyebrow straight to me.
“Humiliation for something that you can’t control. Or yet, something you tried to, but failed. You tried to be the best, climb the ever so high mountain and gaze upon the weaklings below, desperately trying to achieve the same level of accomplishment. That failed. You stumbled, and down you go. You also made a promise to yourself not to lose me next, but that went afar. You’ve humiliated yourself for something that you promised to your own self. Isn’t that right?”
A bead of tear flows from the eyes of Sunset. The eyes of somebody that I see as fiery and judgemental, even if I just met her about a week or so, has now done a complete 180.
“Y-yes. How did you know?”
“A thought in my head.”
I continue.
“Look, there’s nothing to be worried about. We’re all friends here. You, me, them. Be open. React. Don’t be stoic. Release it. That’s what friends are for, right?”
She looks up to me, arms wrapped and head filled with dope.
“Are they? Do they? ”
“I don’t know about them, but you can trust me. As much as I trust you all.”
A long haul of silence, and a sentence afterwards breaks the accord. Sunset lunges towards me cobra fast, hugging me tight, weeping and sobbing, shockingly morbid it sounds. She says nothing except for two words.
“Thank you.”
“Your welcome.”
The only thing more louder than the screams of war terrorising down upon Canterlot was her screams.
She did everything in her power to take it off. But alas, the metal mask, figured and carved like a tribe’s wear, never did. It was attached to her in such a way that even she couldn’t do anything about it. The holes of the mask, located at the eyes, glow a soft colour of green, and kept flashing brightly, as the purple mare spun around, left to right on the ground, screeching like her life depended on it. The voice of terror was not coherent, as it was blocked by the mask covering her mouth, making it sound like muffles more than anything.
The grey stallion, sitting on the throne, glazed with marble and gold, looked down upon the underling. Ever since the prowd ruler of Equestria was overthrown by his supreme power, Celestia and her sister Luna were no more. Their reign was far too long, far too much. It was his time to take control. To do everything that he desired. However, that was about to happen. Celestia’s army is still on the loose, desperately trying to take control of Canterlot once more. All led by herself. Luna, however, was in no sight whatsoever. Sombra knows from the start that this is foolish to begin with. Their forces are to little to do any significance. The only exception being wasted time. He continued to gaze the mare, realising that her violent movement and voice, began to dissipate. Slowly but steadily. Just what he wanted. He grinned, praising himself as if what he did, he was proud of.
In a matter of time, the mare finally stopped reacting. She remained lump on the ground, no movement and no words coming out. She was as dead as any other pony would be, but Sombra knows that’s not the case. Sure, she’s not dead, but she is braindead. Her mental was non existent anymore. The mask has taken it away from her, stripping away her desires, and her need for desire, not to mention her free will. She is now as mindless as a robot, doing anything that the ruler tells without mere hesitation on what the action might be. Sombra cheerfully laughs, realising just what he has done.
“Now, nopony can stop me. Even if the Elements Of Harmony are futile, what more can any other do?” He says to himself.
“I’m quite suprised however, dear old Twilight. I thought you had more resistance than your friends did, but I guess that I was wrong. By a longshot, I would have expected it to happen. Oh well, what can you do.”
He walks out of his throne, and a bell bursts out with a loud sound, ordered by Sombra himself. This was no mistake. The bell is to give a sign to the rebellion, just what they had lost. Their reason to fight is no more. And Celestia knows this all to well. Her most faithful student, has fallen into the hands of the shadows, with no way out. The remaining resistance change their attention to the castle, and Sombra gazes upon them ferociously. This way, their spirit to fight is drained. No reason to suffer anymore. Their princess is gone. And soon, them too. They drop their weapons in despair, and immediately the white flag begins to rise in a slow motion. It waves from left to right, ever so steadily. Sombra smirks, and orders his army to claim the spoils of war. They nod, and marched down to the battlefield. He calls his assistant over next to him, as the servant awaits his orders.
“Call them in.”
“As you wish.”
Minutes later, 20 ponies, stallion and mares, were gathered in front of the glorious throne Sombra was sitting luxuriously. They wore no protection nor armor, and non of them were on a prescription of war. However, that’s not the case. With Sombra having seized all control of Equestria, now that the rebellion is crushed for good due to the Princess Of Friendship’s defeat, it’s time to expand. He uses his magic, and a scroll, battered and torn, glided towards him with a green aura surrounding it.
“This, is Star Swirl’s scroll. You will travel to each dimension using it, and recover as much as you could. You will be provided with the equipment to encapsulate anypony that comes in your way. Whatever you do, never retreat. Do you understand?”
They all nod in silence.
“Let’s begin shall we?”
And the portal opens with a flash.

By sunset, the house was already explored.
Right, so here’s the layout. 2 bedrooms, one small kitchen, two bathrooms, and no back porch. Pretty mediocre if I would say so myself. The entire house was painted in a teal white blue-ish colour scheme, and from the looks of it, it’s horrible. A crime I would consider. But personal preference. So fuck it.
Sunset walks out of her room, wearing a different outfit. Her usual orange shirt, stamped with a sun logo in the middle of it, has been changed with a more fancier skirt, coloured with a combination of red, green and orange. Her hair was more curlier than before, much more than I expected (well, if she does curl her hair). All in all, she was gorgeous. Even though in this hell of a mess living quarters.
“Um, where are you going?” I frankly ask. Gotta be honest, even in my capacitated state, I still have the urge of going out, generally having fun with my ‘friends’.
“A party. One of our schoolmates decided that it was best to do a little get together, in the middle of summer break. Quite the bummer about the date, but c’mon. This might be the most hyped about party yet, apart from Pinkie’s, of course.” She hums in joy and excitement.
“What about me?”
She looks over to me, bewildered. “What about you?”
“I wanna go to. Get the hype.”
“Oh. I...didn’t really think about it.” She softly squealed. Clearly she didn’t think about me.
Touché. Even I didn’t think about her. To be honest, I couldn’t. She grabs her phone, being neatly placed at the table next to her, and starts to do a call. She backs a way for a little, doing a hand wave, signalling her availability in any situation right now. While all of that’s happening, my head only has one request. Just to go. I wanna have fun to. Hell, in what way can I not?
My god, am I a pessimist. Relax. Take a breather. You just might be able to go to your first ever party, and damn will it be enjoyable. But for now, while my fate is still in the balance, the only thing rational to do is wait. Patience is key. You can’t expect to get everything done when you want it, or what exactly you want.
She closes the phone, and walks over to me, in a wide smile and a joyous bright face.
“Seems like somebody’s tagging along.”
“Isn’t that fate, now?” I reply.
“My guess.”
“Now how do I change?”
“Let me help.”
She carries me over to the second floor of the house, the first being the living quarters, kitchen, yaada-yaada-yaada. I open the door to the second room and low behold. I was flabbergasted. The room was equipped with everything, clothing, a small red and blue bed, a brown table, a nice big mirror, and a nightlight. The room was painted in a different colour, much different that the teal white blue. It’s clear full red on the left side, while blue on the right. The wall in front of me is in clear crystal light blue, one many people may perceive as the colour of diamonds. I turn over to Sunset, and asked her.
“Who’s room is this?”
“Yours.”
Wait, wait, wait. Hold up. My room? How can this be my room? And why the hell is the room so vibrant, not like the others? This furniture, this bed, mirror and all, it seems to much to afford. Clearly she didn’t buy this all by herself, did she not?
“You sure ‘bout this?”
“Of course I am. You bought all of this, y’know. It’s not like I did all of this. You did, a while back. But that’s something we can talk later.”
Yeah, sure. Like I have the money to buy all of this. Sure enough, that’s the only solution. Besides, there’s no reason for her to lie. I make my way to the drawers, and picked a nice shirt that suits my taste. I picked a full black shirt, the only exception being the red and blue emblem figured at the shirt itself. The looks is like a geode, round in shape and features carved out details, not to mention a big star at the middle of it. Truly a masterpiece for my eyes. I liked it a lot, and went on with it, picking a pair of light blue jeans as pants.
Of course, this is all before a nice, cold shower. Sure, it was quite the hassle. After all of that was set and done, I take a quick glimpse through the mirror, and low behold. My blue hair and light blue skin, plus the shirt and pants I’ve just worn, I look fantastic. We then waited at the front, sitting at the brown comfy sofas and waited for the others. The 6 others. She says that they will be here by 8, and it’s already 7.50. Almost there. With the time that I have in my hands, I used it and asked some questions.
“Where is this party at?”
“You might not know where it is, but that’s not a problem. This time, we’re not gonna use the small car like last time. Probably going on her parent’s car, since they usually allow her to take it for a spin.”
Well, okay then. That’s one reaction that I wasn’t expecting, like, at all. Then I began looking for morerelevant things to ask about. Let’s see, what do we have. I can ask her about my past friendship with them, but that seems a little bit too enticing to her soft side that she laid upon me very unexpectedly. How about the other girls? What would that bring onto the boredom of silence that we have at the moment?
I think deply about the possible things that can branch out of this topic, and make my choice. It’s not really a harmful thing to waste time on, right? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I slowly and confidently open my mouth, words spewing out with a hint of curiosity inside of my tone and designation of sentence. I have to be brave. If I mess this up, who knows what can happen.
“Tell me more about this little group we have.”
She didn’t take long to respond. In fact, there was no waiting at all. She swiftly began making out baring descriptions of the after mentioned girls.
“We were based on a little known fact all round school. We are possesers of magic, I suppose you can say it that way? It’s all stored in this little geode of ours, based on our different suits and specialties. Y’know, you did have one of these before, too.” She says, as she grabs the necklace and sways it around left to right, bfore tucking it down to her palms.
I glance at my chest, and nothing seems to be dangling around my neck.
“What happened to it?”
“Dunno. Once we found you, the geode was no more. We looked everywhere while Fluttershy took you to the nearest hospital. The only things we found were shards of it. Anyways, these geodes hold unique abilities, and-“
“Wait, wait, wait. Stop right there. Shards?”
“Yeah. They lost their true colour, and we decided to place it in a small jar. I’ll show you it later once the party finishes.”
“Oh.”
“As I was saying, every single one of us, including you, can manipulate this to your liking. I have mind powers, Pinkie has glitter bombs, AJ has god like strength, Rarity can make diamond shields and stuff and Twilight with telekinesis. Fluttershy can talk to animals, making it seem a little bit useless if I were to say so myself, and Rainbow Dash, can...dash. At the speed of light, say. You, on the other hand, we’re not sure. You use to have the ability to cast beams of magic, but now that the geode is destroyed, there’s no advent way of telling.”
“We stuck by this little gang of ours and by time, from enemies, we reconciled into an ever lasting bond.”
“I see.”
Suddenly, a flashing yellow light stops by in front of us, and as the vehicle comes to a sudden stop, the shotgun windows open revealing Pinkie inside.
“What are you all doing here! We got a party to catch!”
Sunset reacts with this with a hint of laughter.
“You don’t sound too mad nor sad about this, Pinkie. The last time a party was held not by you, shit went to Tartarus.”
“Pfft. Why would I? Besides, we all know mine are always the best, no matter what. Now let’s go! I can’t wait!”
Sunset gets up, and opens the doors, me entering first, with her following suit.
And a rev of the engine begins takes us to the designated location.
