As is normal in this sort of story, it was a relatively quiet and relaxed day on the East Coast of the United States. Our story focuses on a place called Norfolk, in Virginia, which, like any self-respecting town, had once been the headquarters of the Norfolk and Western Railroad. Well, not all towns could be the headquarters of the Norfolk and Western Railroad, as only one town could possibly do that, and that town was most certainly Norfolk. No, like any self-respecting town-
"Hold on a minute, you said that about a minute ago, why are you-”
Silver Spoon, can I PLEASE get on with the story? I know you are desperate to appear again after getting featured, but this one focuses on somebody else.
"Oh, sorry.”
Apologies for that interruption. As I was saying, any self-respecting town needed a railroad running through it. And this meant that many rail tours ran through it, usually headed by a certain Norfolk and Western J Class. That’s right, 611.
"Oh, hey! I’ve ridden on that, back when I was Jimmy!”
Silver, can you please get off my keyboard?
Anyway, our narrative does not concern the railroad at all. It concerns a certain fellow, that Silver just alluded to, but another Jimmy. To be precise, Jimmy Thomas Hook.
For, as it turns out, many, many Hook’s exist. And at least 13 of them have changed into MLP characters.
Today, that number would go up to 14.
On this day, Jimmy was in a shopping center in Norfolk, browsing as he was waiting for a rail tour pulled by 1218 to race through. You see, in this universe, 1218 was restored to working order, run regularly out of nearby Roanoke.
On this day, he decided to wander into a jewelry shop, for some strange reason. Maybe he needed a new watch, or something like that. As he was browsing the wares, he suddenly came across something that looked very, very familiar.
It was a tiara. A tiara, for those who do not know, is a crown, specifically designed for wearing by female members of royalty. Though what one was doing here was a mystery to this day.
Jimmy peered at it for a while, trying to figure out where he had seen it before. He knew it from somewhere. But where was it?
"It’s a fine specimen that,” said a voice. Jimmy looked over and saw the shop proprietor, a man with black hair and a blue suit and red tie. He looked oddly familiar too.
"Where’d you get it?” Jimmy asked.
"It was shipped in a few weeks back,” the owner smiled. "It’s yours for 50 dollars if that’s what you wish.”
Jimmy took some money out, though why he did, I, as the narrator, have absolutely no idea, as a fellow of his age would (probably) have no need for such a thing.
Nonetheless, he did so, and gave it to the owner.
"Thank ya very much,” he replied, and watched as Jimmy walked off. "Thank ya very much indeed...”
Jimmy went elsewhere to purchase some new clothes, as his old ones were not in the best of shape, and took some off the rack to try them on. He then went in a changing room, having no idea that the tiara he had purchased was starting to vibrate, giving off a pulse of some sort. As Jimmy went to remove his jacket, he stopped.
His polo shirt, which was a rather muted shade of green, had changed to black, and as he realized this the collar shrank into the shirt, followed by the neckline dropping noticeably.
"Huh?” he asked. "Is this happening again?”
His pants changed color, from grey to...a slightly brighter shade of grey, before shrinking in length. The legs merged together, and the pockets, zip, and button vanished, changing the garment into a skirt. A pair of black sports shorts appeared below the skirt. His shoes morphed into a pair of boots, which turned yellow, and grew in height until they reached his knees, also gaining a pair of black buckles inset with sapphire buckles.
His jacket turned yellow, from its normal brown, and got noticeably thicker, being closer in form to a winter coat than a casual jacket. The collar turned yellow, and changed to fur from leather.
Jimmy looked in surprise, and mild embarrassment. "I look like I got dressed in the dark,” he muttered. "Well, I suppose this is my third time in a skirt-say, why’s the ceiling so far away?”
Indeed, the ceiling was further away. And it was continuing to get further away, as his body shrank in size and lost approximately a foot of physical height, or potentially more. Then, his face began to shift in shape, which was incredibly painful, as the bones restructured themselves into a shape that resembled a 12-year old girl, rapidly followed by his skin changing color to pink. The change in skin color was followed by his eyes switching to light blue, and his hair becoming pink with a wide white stripe. This hair then grew longer until it reached beyond his shoulders, stopping just below his shoulder blades.
It was then Jimmy realized who he was changing into: a character with a somewhat mixed reputation amongst Bronies, especially before Season 5.
"Diamond Tiara? Well, there goes my voice.” For as he spoke that sentence, his voice rose in pitch quite rapidly, eventually stopping when it was incredibly high pitched, high enough to make most people irritated just by hearing it.
His chest began to swell up, forming into a pair of breasts that filled out the shirt rather nicely, and another garment which we shall not discuss for reasons of taste, which were joined by a necklace which had another gem set into it.
His manhood promptly disappeared to somewhere the sun does not shine, and finally the tiara that had sat in the bag appeared on top of her head.
Lastly, two earrings with the same gems appeared on her ears.
Diamond Tiara had absolutely no idea why she had gone into a dressing room. She had no need for new clothes, after all.
"Why am I even here?” she grumbled. "Why am I in this stupid clothes store anyway? I get my clothes custom made for me!”
She emerged from the changing rooms and stepped out into the store, heading to the mall itself. Then she heard a familiar voice.
"Yay! Me at last!”
Yes, Silver Spoon, you are here at last.
"Hey, Silver!” called Diamond. "Have you seen the Crusaders anywhere?”
"Apple Bloom said something about getting a milkshake,” Silver replied. "Shall we join them?”
"As Honorary Crusaders, yes,” Diamond answered. The two friends walked away, toward that end of the mall, ready to meet up with their friends.
