Dishes clinked and clattered softly as the early morning sunshine streamed in through the dining room windows, shafts of yellow light highlighting flecks of dust as they drifted and swirled about. The glow imbued a comforting warmth in the large room, amplifying the heat radiating from the fire crackling away in the living room nearby. Garland hung in sweeping patterns along the walls, the silver strands twinkling as light reflected off of them, while pine wreaths and other festive decorations added to the cheery atmosphere.
Zelus nibbled slowly on a bland rice cake, letting the toasted, starchy bite dissolve slowly on his tongue. Holding the white disk in a chitinous hoof, he sighed softly. The insipid flavor of the simple food was extremely monotonous, but at least his digestive tract could handle it on a regular basis without too much indigestion. His solid blue, compound eyes roamed the spread that covered the big table, wishing he could partake in the feast he had prepared. Platter after platter of pancakes and prench toast drowned under a flood of sugary maple syrup, while strips of fried haybacon adorned massive servings of scrambled eggs. There was enough food present to feed a family of five easily, with plenty of leftovers. But alas, it was not for him. This smorgasbord of breakfast items was intended for the hulking form of his wife sitting across from him.
Stellar Pulse seemed to be in a trance as she shoveled food down her gullet and into her awaiting belly. Unlike the changeling seated on the other side of the table, the mare had no need for a chair and simply used the enormous swell of her rump to lift her the required distance for easy access to breakfast. The mare’s large belly draped down into her lap, resting on the shelf of her fatty thighs while pushing into the edge of the table, a single roll of flab spreading over the area closest to her.
With her chubby cheeks stuffed like a chipmunk, she crammed in yet another forkful of hashbrowns, washing down the fried potatoes by draining a whole glass of orange juice. Upon her placing it back on the wooden surface, Zelus pushed a small amount of magic through his jagged horn, a sickly green aura emanating from its base before spiraling up its length. Lifting a pitcher in his thaumaturgical grip, he refilled the glass before moving a plate of homemade doughnuts to sit on the peak of her wide stomach.
Digging into the sugary treats with gusto, she wasted no time in obliterating the glazed rings. One by one they disappeared into her, and with each bite she savored the moistness of the cake and the sweetness of the icing. Within mere moments, the confections had been devoured, leaving the obese mare licking chocolate crumbs from the corners of her mouth. As she reached for one of the stacks of pancakes, she happened to look up and notice her buggy husband.
Husband. She still hadn’t gotten used to it, almost a full month after the wedding. Just thinking the word left a giggle in her throat and a tingle on her lips that always ended with a bright smile. Well, except this time. Instead of just quietly watching her glut herself silly, the changeling instead stared down to the last bite of his cracker, looking forlorn as he pushed the morsel passed his sharp teeth. Pausing her feast, Stellar took a moment to wipe her lips with a napkin before addressing her partner.
“Zee? Everything alright?” she asked softly. Upon hearing his moniker, Zelus jerked his head up, his eyes locking with her brown ones. After taking a second to process what she had said, he relaxed again and a small, thankful smile manifested on his muzzle.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” he answered, his smile slowly fading. “I’m just bummed I have to leave you alone on Hearth’s Warming Eve for work.”
“Oh honey,” Stellar replied with a sympathetic expression. Holding out her forelegs, she gestured for him to go to her. With a soft chuckle he unfolded his wings, the gossamer appendages shivering slightly before fluttering him over the table and towards the many hundreds of pounds of mare waiting for him. Landing on her belly, he wrapped his hole-filled hooves around her tire of a neck, nuzzling in to her pudgy cheeks and double chin while the rest of him sank into her soft body.
Stellar likewise brought her hooves around him, cooing as they shared the tender moment. After a quick peck to his lips, she pressed her nose against his while giggling happily.
“Feeling better?” she asked.
“I am, thanks,” he responded, his smile returning for a moment before again receding. “It’s just, this is my first Hearth’s Warming free from the Hive, and I was really looking forward to spending today with, ya know, my wife.”
“I know, sweety,” she comforted. With another gentle coo, she tightened her hug around him, pushing him deeper into her pillowy fat. “I promise, tonight I’ll make it all worth the wait.”
Just then, a deep rumble emanated out from Stellar’s bulging gut, slightly jostling the changeling enveloped in its folds. Another series of angry grumbles drove the point home: her belly was in the middle of something, and it was not pleased about the interruption. Smirking at her husband, she flicked her muzzle towards the awaiting food on the table behind him.
“Wanna help me finish breakfast? I know stuffing the tartarus outta me always takes your mind off things.”
Warm water flowed over the hard chitin of Zelus’ hooves, soapy bubbles collecting in the holes running through them. He scrubbed at a large ceramic dish with a green pad of woven nylon, rubbing across its entire surface before holding it under the stream of water, washing away both soap and grease alike, depositing the cleaned flatware in a drying rack positioned immediately left of the sink. Looking to his right, the changeling reached out with his magic, grasping another dish and lifting it into the basin in front of him. Just as he was about to again begin cleaning, a knock from the front door stopped him, his antenna-like ears swiveling to face the noise. But before he could even react, the voice of his wife chimed in from the other room.
“I’ll get it!” she called excitedly. As Stellar pumped her legs towards the door, the enormous mounds of fat that hung from her frame jiggled and wobbled energetically, ripples sloshing back and forth from her belly to the shelf of her ass.
Looking back over his shoulder, Zelus watched as she slowly dragged herself along, her gut gently pressing against the hardwood flooring. Her fat thighs squished and molded together as she went while the twin stars of her cutie marks, about the size of wagon wheels, stretched and distorted with each lumbering waddle.
Upon finally reaching the entrance to their home, the mare had to stop a moment and catch her breath, the exertion of lugging her half-ton body leaving her panting and gasping for air. With a pudgy hoof she opened the door, revealing a young, tall stallion dressed in the blue uniform of a delivery pony standing rigid just beyond the step. Strapped to his side was a heavy fabric saddle bag bearing the crest of the Royal Equestrian Postal Service. Holding a clipboard up to his nose, the gray furred earth pony seemed to be reading an itinerary of somesort, his black mane drooping over his eyes slightly.
After a moment, he let the clipboard drop from his hoof, the lanyard wrapped around his neck catching it and causing it to bounce softly against his fluffy chest. Immediately looking over his shoulder, the stallion began digging through the saddle bag before finally producing a small parcel wrapped in heavy parchment. Turning back around, package in hoof, he began to speak.
“Hello there, I’ve got a delivery for a Stellar...um...St-uhhhh,” as his eyes finally registered the pony he was facing, the stallion’s brain completely derailed, leaving him wide eyed and his jaw hanging open. Glancing around her body, all he could do was marvel at the sheer rotundity of her. Everything from how her belly flowed over the lip of the door, to how her rump towered above her own head, to the fact that he couldn’t even see all of her, her hips extending past the edges of the door frame and out of view.
Stellar giggled at the dazed stallion, taking pride in the shocked expression plastered on his face.
“What’s the matter hun, never seen a fatass like me before?” she said teasingly. With a heavy stomp of a rear hoof, she sent her mountainous backside shaking, her titanic cheeks slapping together lewdly. The stallion’s eyes widened even further in response, earning a smug smile from the pegasus.
Slowly, the delivery pony extended his hoof holding the package, his eyes never leaving her quaking butt, and pressed it into her doughy chest. Waiting only a moment for her to secure it in her own grip, he then retracted his hoof and clumsily backed up, eventually tearing his vision away from her excess flesh and hurrying towards his next destination.
“Thanks sweetie!” she called after him, smiling brightly. Grabbing the handle with a wing, she swung the door closed, though not before noticing the subtle stiffness in the retreating mailpony’s gait.
Waddling back into the kitchen, Stellar placed the paper covered container onto the countertop before turning to face her husband, a process that took several seconds and required multiple shuffling steps as her thick legs pressed into her big gut.
“Hey, did you get somepony new on the mail team?” she asked him just as he was putting the last dish onto the drying rack. “I’ve never seen him before.”
“Yeah, his name’s Cracked Shale,” Zelus responded, stepping away from the sink and up to his wife. “He’s just working with us between semesters at the Manehatten Institute of Geology. Why do you ask?”
“Well, I might have broken him just a little,” she admitted, donning an innocent expression along with her best puppy dog eyes. Zelus huffed through his nose, his lips curling into an amused smile while his solid blue eyes narrowed accusingly.
“Of course you did,” he replied, pressing his muzzle against hers. The two enjoyed a quick smooch before he reluctantly pulled back. “Well, back to the old grind, I guess,” he said sadly, leaning in again to nuzzle one of her swollen cheeks.
“I’ll see you soon Zee,” Stellar consoled him. “And don’t worry, we’ll make your first Hearth’s Warming Eve special, just you wait.”
The changeling gave a small smile before trotting towards the door. As he reached up and gripped the knob, swirling green flames manifested around the bottoms of his hooves. Gradually at first, the churning fire consumed him, accelerating the higher it went. Once the end of his horn had disappeared, the flickering tips of the flames were directed inwards, magical energy pulsing towards the middle of the little inferno. In an instant, the blaze was extinguished in a blast of hot air, and where the changeling once stood was now an exceptionally average looking brown unicorn.
With a final “Bye, hun,” Zelus exited the house, gripping the door in his magic and swinging it shut behind him.
The town of Ponyville was almost always in a festive spirit, no matter what the occasion or time of year, and no holiday made its passion for celebration more evident than Hearth’s Warming. All along the roads, oil lamps were wrapped in red and white ribbons, giving the impression of being lined with candy canes. Wreaths hung from every door, while bushels of holly, poinsettias, and pussywillows sat on a number of windowsills, illuminated from behind by the soft glow of interior lights.
Swift Seal trotted down a line of homes as snow fell from the dark sky above, the sun having vanished beyond the horizon, taking its glowing warmth with it. As his hooves left imprints in the fresh powder, he set his gaze on the intricate patterns of multicolored lights strung on and between houses. He shivered slightly, the twitching shaking loose a blanket of frozen flakes that had collected on his back.
Approaching the front entrance to his own abode, he scraped the bottoms of his hooves on an abrasive mat sitting just in front of the door, knocking away both snow and small specks of dirt. Opening the door with his magic, he hurried inside, teeth quietly chattering from the cold he had endured to get home. Upon entering, the stallion released a relieved sigh, the rush of warm air reinvigorating his extremities while also eliminating the numbness from the tip of his snout. Straightening up, he walked through the kitchen, tossing a sealed envelope labeled: OVERTIME onto the counter.
“Stell! I’m home!” he called. As he walked, the flash of green flame again consumed him, dropping his disguise while simultaneously vaporizing the last remaining snowflakes clinging to his frame.
“Living room, Zee,” her voice responded softly. Carefully, the changeling made his way towards his wife, thankful that she hadn’t gone too far from the entrance. As he rounded the corner from the central hall into the living room, the sight that greeted him stopped him in his tracks, leaving him speechless as he stared. Laying on her mattress of a belly in the center of the room was Stellar Pulse, in all her fat and bloated glory, wearing the most ill-fitting outfit he had ever seen.
Squeezed over the mare’s torso was what appeared to be a black, lacey blouse, crammed to bursting with brown furred flesh. The garment traveled less than halfway down the curve of her belly, the fat on her sternum oozing out between its straining buttons. Meanwhile, her forelegs looked akin to plump, jiggly sausages as they stretched out its sleeves, small tears already forming in the fabric. Past her head, Zelus could see where an extremely overtaxed pair of panties disappeared between the globes her rump along with the rest of her bright yellow tail.
Stellar gave her husband the best sultry expression she could muster, her likewise yellow, wavy mane drooping in front of half lidded eyes. She examined the lovestruck changeling’s frame hungrily, biting the edge of her lip in anticipation.
Similar to Hearts and Hooves day, Zelus had returned home stuffed to the gills with love, his abdominal crop turgid with the swirling pink energy. Stretched tight, his arthrodial membrane pressed into the backs of his knees, the translucent cuticle squeaking softly from even the smallest of movements as it struggled to contain its cargo.
Upon her gesturing him to approach, he slowly made his way over, careful not to accidentally kick his swollen middle in the process. By the time he reached the prone mare, he was grinning madly, his lopsided fangs giving him a distinctly goofy appearance.
Though her hooves were not touching the floor, Stellar’s big gut prevented her from losing any significant amount of height. A good thing, too, as it allowed her to reach her muzzle up and meet his without any real difficulty. The two shared a passionate kiss, the obese pegasus savoring the unnaturally sweet taste of her lovebug’s saliva.
“Happy Hearth’s Warming, honey,” she said after separating from the kiss, a warm, caring smile spread across her lips.
“Stell, baby, you look gorgeous,” he replied, eventually regaining enough composure to again formulate sounds into words. He ran a hoof along the side of her belly, his hard exoskeleton brushing through her silky brown fur.
“I see you have a present for me,” she said teasingly, pressing her own hoof into his inflated crop and causing it to creak in response. “Though I don’t think I can wait till tomorrow to open it.”
“Neither can I,” Zelus chuckled, rubbing his snout against hers in a gentle nuzzle. As he lifted his head, he finally noticed the bright red gemstone nestled into an ornate earring, hanging just below the wedding band in her left ear. Strangely, a peculiar, almost spicy flavor wafted from the trinket, stimulating not his physical taste buds, but instead those tuned to emotive energies. Was this what she had gotten in the mail this morning? Something about it stirred memories in the back of the changeling’s mind, but he couldn’t quite place why. Pushing the thoughts from his mind, he focused again on the mare in front of him.
Once more he connected his snout with hers, this kiss more passionate and intense than the last. The two closed their eyes as their tongues danced, Zelus leaning into her fatty brisket, eliciting a soft moan from his partner. Inside his abdomen, he relaxed the muscles sequestering his collected store of emotion from his esophagus. Slowly, the sweet, sugary taste of condensed love floated up into his jaw, evaporating back into pure energy as soon as it left his digestive tract. As the trickle became a steady stream, the reactive substance was forced from his own maw and into that of his wife’s, flowing down her throat and mixing with her own latent magical aura.
In a few moments more, the influx of energy began to become noticeable, as Stellar’s body worked to process the intangible material into something it could utilize: pure body fat. Slowly, her already massive belly inched outward, pushing over the plush carpet as more adipose layered overtop of what was there before. In front of her, the fat on her sternum likewise crawled forward, pushing more and more into Zelus as the transfer of love into her became a flood.
Not to be outdone, the enormous mounds of her butt swelled out and up, further swallowing her tail while increasing its height advantage over her own head. Her thighs plumped up just as fast as the rest of her, squishing ever harder into her expanding belly and forcing her hind legs to bend outward to accommodate the incredible amounts of fat competing for space on her crowded frame. On the wide dome of her back, her wings sunk deeper into its folds, feathers getting buried in fur and flesh.
Zelus’ own belly shrunk as Stellar’s growth accelerated. With a sharp ripping sound, the small tears present in the sleeves of her blouse widened as her forelegs puffed up, while the buttons holding it tight to her body strained mightily, increasingly large balls of fat leaking through the spaces between them. Eventually, the changeling was forced to climb on top of her expanding chest, straddling the growing lump of fat while working to keep their muzzles connected.
By the time his stomach had emptied to about a quarter of what he'd started with, Stellar's backside had begun to press against the couch behind her, her gargantuan cheeks filling the two pony loveseat with an ever increasing amount of ass fat. Her growing butt strained the panties nearly to the point of bursting, the fabric groaning as it fought to contain her unwieldy plot. Likewise, the buttons on her blouse also voiced their complaints, seemingly creaking in pain while her belly fattened, nearly to the point of lifting her hooves from the floor.
Finally, the tortured fasteners couldn't take any more, the bottom button pinging off with the speed of an arrow, missing Zelus by mere inches. Two more followed suit, leaving just three left to hold the garment on. Stellar's belly surged forward, immediately filling the space created by the failing shirt. The sudden movement jiggled her whole body, huge rolls wobbling and sending her husband bouncing. The obese pegasus moaned lustfully at the sensations coming from her immense body, the guttural sounds muffled between the pair's locked lips.
Slowly, the last few ounces of emotion seeped from the changeling into her, adding their pounds to her frame before the flow stopped completely. The two separated, panting as they looked lovingly at one another, smiling giddily.
“How-huff-was that?” Zelus managed to get out, his torso once again slim and sleek. Stellar Pulse tested out her newfound girth, rocking her fat body back and forth gently, feeling as the weight shifted side to side. Her hooves brushed the carpet, just barely able to reach the floor around her heavy belly, while her rump spilled from the confines of the couch, oozing over either hoof rest and the back cushions. Presenting him with a somewhat cheeky smile, their noses an inch apart, she cood.
“That was wonderful, honey,” she responded innocently. Zelus, however, didn’t fail to notice a particular glint in her eyes, one that he had come to associate with a surprise being kept secret. Cocking a brow ridge, he smiled at her suspiciously.
“You sure about that, blubber butt?” he asked. “Nothing else you wanna say? Nothing you wanna do?”
“Now why would you think that?” she countered, fully aware that he suspected something. Realizing time was short, she proceeded with her sneaky plan before the changeling could deduce her motives. Smashing her muzzle into his again, Stellar reignited the passionate kiss, waiting until he had settled into it before revealing her card.
Zelus again melted into the fatty mounds of his enormous wife, wrapping his especially dexterous tongue around her own. As the snogging continued, however, he became aware of an unusual sensation. Glancing towards the source of the disturbance, his eyes fell upon the new earing his wife wore, the gem seeming to shine ever so slightly. It was then that a look of realization washed over his angular features, his memory finally clear. It wasn’t just a decorative crystal, the fiery red stone was an emotive conduit, capable of focusing and amplifying emotion and directing it towards a single target. Back at the hive, they had used these to maximize food production from cocooned ponies, and within moments Stellar’s plan became clear.
Closing her eyes, the pegasus focused on the love she felt for her husband. Every special moment they had shared, every night of cuddling, it all coalesced in her mind. She thought about the way his ears would twitch with the slightest noises, about his adorable, lopsided smile, and she directed those thoughts towards the changeling laying on her sternum. After amplifying that love to many times its original potency, the conduit then pushed it through the kiss, and down into Zelus’ gut. In essence, she was force feeding him her own love.
Smiling, he gave a muffled chuckle as his body processed the incoming nourishment, again filling up his crop. However, before his belly could noticeably stretch, the excess emotion once more flowed into the mare, this time at a slower, but more steady pace.
For the second time that night, Stellar’s body expanded with new layers of fat. Her belly pushed out even further, finally lifting her hooves entirely off the floor. Behind her, the gigantic cheeks of her ass pressed even harder against the loveseat, until the growing wall of backside simply became too great, tipping the now worthless furniture over and sliding it back against the wall. The black panties, stretched beyond recognition, snapped almost immediately, pinging off her soft rump and sending the twin mountains jiggling widly.
The last buttons on the blouse likewise gave up the ghost, unable to cope with her growing bosom. As her forelegs inflated with lard, the sleeves were torn asunder, the fabric getting trapped inside the massive folds swallowing her limbs. The more her belly blimped, the higher she rose as it demanded more space for its wobbling mass. She moaned as she felt her butt squish against the back wall of the room, while the fatty collar around her neck began to creep over her double chin.
By the time she had finished, her expansion slowly coming to a stop, Stellar Pulse had become a changed mare. No longer would terms like ‘morbidly obese’ be sufficient, as she hardly even resembled a pony anymore. The humongous, wobbling blob filled more than half the large room, her butt covering an entire wall and nearly reaching the ceiling. Her cutie marks, meanwhile, looked more like billboards, the images stretched and distorted to fit across the huge canvass. Her engorged thighs were now each the size that her gut had been mere minutes before, forcing her hind legs to dangle over the great swell of her stomach, not even close to reaching the ground.
And What a stomach it had become! Similar to two king-sized mattresses side by side in width, the big ball of fat supported her many tons beautifully, softer than any cushion she had ever used. Additionally, her vast belly symbolized the milestone she had just crossed. In becoming such an enormous, fat cow, she had completely sacrificed her independence. No more could she take care of herself, and as such, she was entirely at the mercy of Zelus.
However, rather than being apprehensive, she couldn’t help the tingling that started up in her nethers at the thought. She was totally, utterly his now; his immobile whale of a wife. She belonged to him, and there was nothing she could do about it. Whatever he wanted, he could get, and she would be more than happy to give it to him.
Looking to her husband, she smiled, her big, flabby cheeks creasing in the process.
"Hun, look what you did to me, I'm so bucking huge!" she teased, chuckling breathily as she caught the last of her breath. For his part, Zelus simply ogled his now multi-ton wife, too engrossed in her incredible, mind boggling obesity to respond.
“So, was it worth the wait?” she asked. Glancing up, he look towards the looming globes of her ass, towering above them, before bringing his gaze back to her fat face, grinning from ear to ear.
“Yes,” he finally replied. “A million times yes.” Grabbing her thick neck, he pulled himself in for a one-sided hug, her own forelegs too fat to bend sufficiently to reach him. “Thank you, Stell. I love you.”
Giggling as she nuzzled him, Stellar cooed softly. “I love you too, Zee. Happy Hearth’s Warming.” Just then, a violent roar ripped from her blobby gut, powerful enough to send her swaying gently.
“So,” she asked, looking to him innocently. “Any ideas for dinner?”
