Prologue
The Void of Worlds

The Void of Worlds was a calm gap between worlds, inhabited only by the umbras that stretched across the still land. Dark trees that sprouted out the crust and produced their black fruits, reaching the highest point in their silent lives, only to stop, frozen in time until another tree touches its peek. Chard spots etched the ground wherever you went, plastered everywhere. Recent wars prevent this ominous land from continuing its cycle. Mysterious and powerful magic was so strong it interrupted everything, no matter the defense.
The Void of Worlds was a calm plain of shadow before one of the three R.Watcher clans abused its treasures.

The echoes of an aggressive and authoritative voice rang through the stone castle, ”What do you mean they're gone?!”
A second voice gave a monotone reply, ”I meant they are gone, must I always repeat myself?”
In the middle of nowhere, covered with paused tall black trees, like a dead forest, lies a large and intimating castle made of crudely cut stone, with a wide path leading toward and away from it that long ago stopped fading.
Unlit torches hung on both sides of a massive draw bridge that was currently unavailable to cross on. A lake like ink that mimicked quicksand surrounded the large castle for yards, grey shrubbery littered the ground, vines crawled along the castle walls and gates, and strange plants stopped growing at random spots that seemed impossible to grow in.
Still and stoic shadowy figures that stood tall at the castles watch outs, protecting the castle of its treasures and inhabitants resting inside.
”There must a reason,” the first voice rebutted with barely restrained anger.
With this, the second voice noticed a spike of dangerously uncontrolled magic, ”Sir, please calm yourself, you will damage the realm once again,” the second voice said in its emotionless tone. Well, as much as their seemingly worried soul would allow.
The first unwise voice did not listen, despite the second voice’s effort, processing to slam his hooves in the cold stone ground, illuminated by the purple torches decorated across the room's pillars, cracking it.
A strange silence filled the room.
”Are you alright, sir?” the second voice questioned shortly after.
”No ,” the first voice hissed aggressively, ”I thought you were smart, E. You husk of feathers!”
E’s expression did not change, ”Please forgive me, sir,” E blinked.
The first voice grimaced in annoyance and facehoofed.
The groaning of two heavy old doors and the flapping of wings trailed a third and vivacious voice, ”Wowza! All the trees are a’ movin’!”
The new voice snapped their wings closed, dropping gracefully to the ground, as if they have done it before, now hopping across the room and continuing their journey.
”So. . .” the new arrival began, stretching out the word, ”Mister Sir. . . Sir.”
’Sir’s’ eye twitched.
”Lower the funky magic will ya?” the third voice asked disrespectfully, oblivious to the quickly decreasing temperature.
E lifted a hoof to adjust his glasses and proceeded to pull up his hood. Right then a scream of pure cold fury was released within the room.
”HE STARTED IT!” ’Sir’ hollered, pointing an accusing hoof towards E, ”Don't get in this Eye, and don't touch me! You probably have diabetes!”
Eye’s expression turned puzzled, ”What?” he asked incredulously.
’Sir’ turned to E, ”Look , E,” he firmly started, ”I want you to find out what happened, humans don't just randomly disappear entirely from their dimension !”
”Obviously!” Eye’s happy voice laughed.
’Sir’ enacted a deadly gaze, ”If this is not solved soon we will be in a grave situation. Now, leave you two!” he hollered, ”Fix the problem you useless piles of feathers!”
”Aye-aye captain!” Eye cheered, ”Come on E, we have some humans to find!”
”I am following,” came the usual monotone reply.
”See ya later, World!”
”When you find them you must capture them!” World huffed as they left, ”. . . And good riddance,” he teleported away.
And the room was empty once more.

Another Sunrise, Another Sunset

The singing of nature was bliss to my ears as grass danced with the wind that passed by. The leaves of the trees rustled and shook along with the song of bird chirps carried afloat the air. A variety of flowers in color and shape accompanied the grass in harmonious coexistence. I watch all the animals I've ever come to know frolic across acres of the greenest grass, greeting each other as their own.
I breathed a breath of the freshest air, which my lungs gladly took.
I look up and my vision is greeted with white fluffy, and might I add comfortable looking clouds floating along the blue sky without a care in the world. I chuckle. Wish I could be like that.
I had to resist the urge of spreading my wings to sour with the wind as I pass by those perfect white clouds. Perhaps it's Pegasus instincts.
I should go back to town and gather my friends, I must show them this bliss!
I turn to look south, nothing was there. I turn north to look at The Canterlot Mountain. There was no mountain. . . Strange, last time I checked, Pegasi were good with directions instinctively.
Then it hit me. Where am I?
I blink as I take a good look at everything. How interesting , I muse. I'm nowhere near civilization. That got me thinking; When did I get here?
I noticed everything was peaceful. . . too peaceful.
Suddenly, I had that ’wait a minute’ moment. When have timberwolves stopped shredding sheep apart on sight. . . and instead, start nuzzling them? I ask myself incredulously.
After that moment it was followed by a ’Eureka’ moment, it only took me a while. Wait. . . am I dreaming?
The noise that blasted in my ear the next second could not have been any louder.
The all too common ”BEEP-BEEP-BEEP” cliche was what greeted me this brilliant early morning.
I tried to block out the most irritating noise in the world from my suddenly more sensitive ears. . . It admittedly wasn't working.
I grunted and mumbled, ”Alright, alright!” I slowly raised a hoof and gently clicked snooze. Despite its most annoying greetings every morning, it has saved me from a multitude of situations that could have ended very badly if I slept in, ”. . .and for that, I'm grateful to have you. Thank you.”
It didn't respond. Of course it didn't, because when do ponies start talking to inanimate objects?
It says it is five fifty-five in the morning. Huh, triple five. I sigh, ”At least you do your job.”

While the sun was still asleep I started on my morning rituals. I turned on my lights and began to tidy-up my bedroom.
I started straightening my bed. I genuinely like my bed's design, it was a limited edition and I just happen to pass by the store at the right time.
This occurred when I first moved to Ponyville. It was honestly a ridiculous first impression from the town, and that is one of the reasons I love it so much. I remember it like the feathers of my wings.
But it barely matters, seeing as I mostly sleep hanging upside down.
When I blinked out of my daze I was facing a large bookshelf with a beanbag lying beside it. I smile, this spot was definitely a favorite, other than my bed. I would spend hours draped over my comfy beanbag reading any book willing to take me through a whole different world. If I have a day off, of course.
I glanced at my books, almost filling up my entire bookshelf. The sight made me smile wider. I might need to get a new bookshelf! But I can't help myself. Sometimes there are books that are just too good to ignore , I concluded.
Perhaps being too open-minded might cause some inconvenience. . . ”Oh well.” I shrugged it off.
I glance at the titles of all my books and smirk. I take much pride in my books, as I've been collecting the best of the best for years, and will continue doing so for years to come. Although, I don't like mentioning how many years to ponies that ask exactly how long I've been collecting, since it reminds me of how old I am.
I smile sheepishly to myself. That's a secret that stays with me. ”Ladies never reveal their secrets,” quoted by Miss Rarity. A stylish and elegant young mare might I add. I quite like her, and perhaps I'll be meeting her later today.
Now that I think about it, I believe that I have an unusually large schedule today. Obviously, it’s all the hype from the next Summer Sun Celebration, the longest day of the year. It is being hosted here in Ponyville, so everypony has been frantically running around town lately.
I chuckle and shake my head. That’s the last time we get caught up with one of Pinkie Pie’s parties. We didn’t know any better.
I trot towards the restroom, when suddenly I almost trip on something. That’s strange , my floors are always clean. I look downward to confront my sneaky assassin. Only to meet-
I dramatically gasp in horror, “What are you doing there?” Hurriedly, I pick up the source of distress: my mother’s beautiful neckless.
I take a breath in great relief, ”My goodness, how do you always appear on the floor?” I put on a rather foul expression.
I continue my trot, but now towards my wardrobe. It faces away from the back wall of my bedroom, which has a conveniently placed window beside it. The window showcases all of Ponyville’s south sector.
I proceed to place my mother's jewelry in it’s box with more of her expensive accessories. Said box was hidden away in one of my wardrobes cupboards where I save my own trinkets, but they aren't as attractive as hers.
I don't really care about fashion, but I would never say that in front of Miss Rarity, or anything that suggests otherwise.
I stare through the window as I prepare a mental checklist necessary for today's activities. The sun hasn't awoken yet, but I could see the bright moon shower its soft light across the sky. I smile, “What a lovely sight. Everypony is missing out. . .”

In my delightful sightseeing, it was abruptly interrupted by a small sound of tapping. My ears caught the sound immediately. I suppose you could thank my ears for how sharp they are, but you can hardly call them ’normal’ , can you?
Honing in the source of the familiar noise, my eyes landed on my bedroom door. Ah, an early visitor! With a smile on my face, I trot to the door, gleefully turning the knob.
I casually greet my visitor,- ”Good morning, Malik!” -a bird friend!
The wren chirped in reply, a bright smile on his face. Malik greets me almost every morning after we met. It was a strange experience.
I flip my messy mane, ”Oh Malik, have I ever told you that I appreciate your visits?” I smile wryly.
Malik rolled his small eyes, fluttering his wings. He looked at me with an expression, or whatever he can muster, that said, ”As if you haven't said it enough!”
I always try my best to translate, if not then I take an educated guess depending on the situation.
I walked out my bedroom door, leaving it open, ”Anyway, is there something you would like this morning?”
Malik chirps happily, following behind me.
Rolling my eyes, I replied, ”Of course you want food. Why didn't I think of that.” Another child to take care of today, I complain to myself, walking down the flight of stairs.

”No. . . no, no. No! Argh! Where is it?” I angrily mumble.
I've been sweeping through multiple cabinets in my kitchen, but I couldn't find any seeds anywhere! I swore I bought some sunflower seeds last Saturday's morning market rush.
I grip my hoof on the last cabinet’s handle and hold my breath. Looking back at Malik sitting patiently on the table island, he looks at me with empathy. Turning back, I let my breath go. If anything, it's for comfort, I like seeds too. I yank the cabinet open with ease and peek inside, hoping to find what I'm looking for.
I see a half-empty bottle of hot sauce, which is strange since I never eat anything with hot sauce. . . or even buy any.
I see an unopened bag of flower. Okay, I can use the extra for baking.
I see many. . . popsicle sticks? What?
Then I see a rusty horseshoe? I grab it and look at its familiar details. I pause, isn't this Rainbow’s lucky horseshoe? Ah, I'll give it to her when I see her. I tuck the rusty object beneath my wing. I continue to search.
I see a small bucket half filled with. . . slime? Again, what?
I move the objects at the front away to the sides. I then see construction paper, ripped fabric, a bag of animal crackers, elastic, rubber bands, drumsticks, a pair of glasses and moldy hay?
My eyes narrow in disbelief and disgust. I take a breath of the nasty smell, ”Okay, that is it. This cabinet needs a major makeover.”
Sighing, I close the cabinet door, ”Sorry, Malik. No seeds. One point to the evil kitchen,” I chuckle. I'll put a sticky note on the cabinet to remind myself. I must enact that makeover.
Malik chirps quietly. I grimace, ”I'm so sorry, Malik. But I promise that I'll buy you seeds today at the market.” Malik's face immediately brightens.
I smile, ”I'll be in the restroom, Malik. If you need anything else, knock,” Or try knocking.
Malik chirps again and waves goodbye. He flys past the kitchen entrance, through the living room, and out the small open window.
I smile. It's nice to meet a friend in the morning.

I frown, my eyes widening as I stare at the clock. It's six forty-seven already?
Ever since Malik left I continued my morning routine. Or rituals. And of course, time slips by my hooves again.
I let out a miserable whimper. Oh, I'm getting old. I guess this is the karma I get for teasing my mother about the same thing. I quietly laugh. She truly was a wonderful mare.
I trot to my bed. On it was my stupidly light saddlebag. I take a deep breath, and let it out, ”Okay, new day. First, go to the market early and buy necessary stuff. Like, right now . Second, buy Malik and me seeds. Sunflower seeds specifically. Third, take some pictures, because why not? And fourth, stop talking to myself.” I equip my saddlebag, leave my bedroom, go down the stairs, and stand in front of the doorway.
Lifting a hoof, I proclaim, ”Day off, here I come!” I pause and sigh. I really have to stop talking to myself.
Leaving my home, I lock my door and place the key back inside my saddle bag. I took a deep breath. Another sunrise, another sunset.
I start trotting. . .

Chapter#2
Early Market Troubles

I'm trotting down Sturrup Street, the longest and biggest street in Ponyville. It cuts right through the village, and is usually very crowded mid-day. Well. . . that's a lie, its always crowded mid-day. But, there is always nopony in the mornings, yet with the Summer Sun Celebration right around the corner, I believe it is just as crowded now compared to mid-day.
I'm just saying, I'm very well known in this town. Especially with foals. Just saying.
As I trot down Sturrup Street, familiar faces wave at me, old and new. Most of the time I smile or nod as an ’I acknowledge you’ hello. I wave sometimes, but only when I slow down by slight traffic. And because I don't want to trip, that's a valid reason, too.
In long walks, my mind tends to wander. It would usually think about all the confusing things— if that makes sense. I sorta stopped it so I can ’acknowledge’ other ponies waving at me and not seem rude. But I am on autopilot, and I usually snap out of it when the ground gets harder.
For example, I went on autopilot automatically when I left my house, and since my destination is the Market and it has a cobblestone street, I look out for the ground I step on.
I know, I know. It’s clever, right?
I don't know how long I've walked, but it definitely has been a few minutes. I believe that I should be at the Market by now.
Speak of the devil, the Market! What a coincidence.
Alright, first thing on the mental checklist is— oh wait! I need to buy Sunflower Seeds before I forget.
I glance to and fro, looking for The Collector; that's what I call him. His stall isn't that big, but he gets a lot of business, so he does not need to upgrade it. He says that he doesn't spend money on what he doesn't need. Wise words from a rather successful self-employed stallion, never thought I'd see the day; I even congratulated him.
I trot past a few stalls and venders. One of them was Carrot Top, a very old friend. I wave hello. I trot past for a few more yards.
Ah, there he is. Just as I expected, he’s setting up his stall.
I walk up to him, ”Good morning, Mister Rock!” He turned to me in surprise, ”May I help you?”
”Oh joy!” He exclaimed.
I giggle behind a hoof, ”Very funny, Mister Rock.”
He grins, ”Why, thank you, sweetheart,” He puffs up his sandy colored chest fur, which is commonly done by stallions to impress a mare. The more fur, the more ’impressive’, and he has quite a bit. What a flirt. Is he not a bit to old to be flirting? I muse to myself.
I hum. He does have quite the build, however. He's not too shabby in my opinion. Inward, I grin wickedly. But I won't tell him such things. Haha!
”I would like your help and company. But tell me, what do you need, beautiful?”
I smile, ”Thank you,” I grip one end of the stall while he grabs the opposite side, ”I just need some more Sunflower Seeds for this week,” Together, we lifted the stall’s wooden rooftop. Once we placed the legs and foundations the stall was able to stand on its own.
Ruby Rock grunts slightly, standing on his hind hooves and overall stabilizing the rest of the stall, ”You really like,” Another grunt, ”Sunflower Seeds, huh?”
I huff quietly, ”It’s for me and an old friend.”
He lands on all four hooves and turns to look at my expectant face, ”Friend? Which?” He chuckles, ”If I heard right, you've practically befriended the whole town, right?”
I playfully roll my eyes, ”He’s lovingly unique, and we are very good friends.”
He grabs a few bags of seeds and gos to the front of the stall. He chuckles again, ”I expected that, hon. You have a habit of attracting rather interesting and strange ponies and things, I've heard,” He opens one bag of seeds. Sunflower Seeds to be specific, ”You are rather strange yousel-” He suddenly froze and stopped talking, to his own credit. Good.
He slowly turns to me with a blank face. I blink in confusion, ”Are you alright, Mister Rock?”
He stays silent. I don't even think he's breathing. That's kind of alarming. The silence stretches, slight awkwardness and worry seeping into me each second. Happy chatter and hoofsteps are all my ears pick up in the background, but I can also hear the strange silence between us.
. . . Ten long seconds have passed as of right now. He hasn't been breathing for ten seconds. How did this happen again?
Okay, you know what? ”Mister Rock, what’s wro-”
He suddenly snapped out of his trance and interrupted me, ”Who is he?” He commanded me.
I blink, ”. . . Pardon me?”
Jealously painted his face, ”Who is he?” He repeated.
”I’m sorry?” I'm so confused. I just want to buy some Sunflower Seeds. . .
”Your friend ?” He elaborates sharply, ”The stallion that you share your seeds with? Who is he?”
. . . Wait. I put two and two together. Is he. . ? No way!
I burst out laughing, a laugh that, when anyone and anything hears it, says that there was a massive misunderstanding.
Ruby blinks multiple times in surprise, ”Why are you laughing like that?” He asks. Apparently, he doesn't understand. How ironic.
I calm my laugh to a small amused chuckle, ”Ruby Rock,” I start, dropping the formality, ”Did I mention that my friend, the one that really likes Sunflower Seeds, is a charming wren? In other words, a small bird ?”
Ruby blinks dumbly, swallowing the information, ”. . . Oh. I-I knew that.” His face is turning a lovely scarlett.
I smile at him, ”I know you did,” I lie.
He hurriedly set up his appetizing seed collection with me snickering behind him. He hobbles cutely back behind his stand and looks at me with pink cheeks. After a moment of his mouth opening and closing, he looks down, causing his fiery red mane to fall over his eyes. He mumbles in a soft voice, ”What did you n-need again?”
The flattering flirter has been deflated!
I smile and place four bits on the counter, ”Two pouches of Sunflower Seeds, please.”
”R-right,” He grabs two pouches and one of those long scoops from underneath the counter. He leans over the counter and carefully fills the pouches with Sunflower Seeds, seals them, then hoofs it over to me.
”Enjoy; happy to make business with you, sweetheart.” He says, flustered with embarrassment.
I grab the bags, place them in my saddle bag, and smile kindly at him, ”Thank you, Ruby,” I lower my volume, ”And don't worry, I won't tell anypony . I pinkie promise,” I felt a shiver crawl up my back.
Gratefulness washed his features, ”Thank you,” He whispers, ”Have a good day, beautiful.”
I turn and trot away from his stall, ”You too! I hope to see you next week, Mister Rock!”
His laughs echo within the street corner, ”I’ll be waiting! Goodbye!” I can imagine him waving a hoof.
Okay! I think as I trot down the street. It's been a nice morning so far, and hopefully, it stays that way.
Think fast, what's first on the list? Ribbons! And where are the ribbons? Back from where I came? Wonderful.
Time to go back. What a waste of time.
I turn on my hind leg’s frogs and start trotting toward the direction of my home. I move to the other side of the street, since going past Mister Rock again will be. . . strange, I suppose.
Mister Ribbons. He is such wonderfully quirky gentlestallion. Aside from Mister Brushed Palette, Long Ribbons is my favorite vendor. They even work right next to each other, lucky.
Mister Ribbons owns a small stall, but halls a large number of streamers and ribbons; while Mister Palette, he has a whole shop! I really like his shop too, it's so colorful!
My ears swivel subconsciously and I catch a sound. What sound? I'm not sure honestly, but I don't have any interest or care-
”H-Hey! Give that back!” A female voice screams.
I blink in surprise and look to the source of the yelling. So do then ponies around me.
”Somepony get that stallion! He stole a bundle of my carrots!” Yells. . . Carrot Top?
I let my eyes widen. ’Stole’? This early? What in Tartarus? Please pardon my language, but now that I think about it, that sound sounded like a struggle.
’’It's been a nice morning so far, and hopefully, it stays that way.’’ I'm cursed by my own words. Me and my ignorance. . .
Well, a robber and a cheater. Time to put this guy six feet under. . .
To my right, ponies are hurriedly clearing a path. I suspect that that's where he is running past.
If nopony is going to stop this guy, then I will. Plain and simple.
I open my large wings and drop Rainbow Dash’s lucky horseshoe, placing it in my saddle bag. I let out a single mighty flap. The air whips around me as I reach a few yards into the sky, being careful with my saddlebags. This is more than enough for a clear view.
Nopony has noticed me yet. That's good.
A running pony catches my attention. He is completely covered! The stallion is dressed in all black cloth; I can't even see his tail, never mind his colors .
The stallion is carrying a grey saddle bag and a large metal bat in his mouth. He eyes are narrowed and focused through his black mask, like he is in a life or death mission. How suiting.
Wait. I'd expect a pony to be kinda scared if one half of a fifty-fifty chance is death. . .
Yeah, me too.
Anyway, I grab my saddle bag and flap a mightier flap than last time. I’m zooming to him at this point. His ears perk up and his eyes light up, not literally, but he's very aware now.
He sharply looks up and gets a front row seat to Pain in the Face . Get tickets now! We have a special today!
I practically smack him over the head like he's destined to get this. Let's be honest, he does deserve this.
He lets out a painful ”OOF!” that everypony within earshot can clearly hear, and launches backward, crashing loudly onto a stall.
”My cabbages!” Screams a stallion in horrible distress.
I glide to the ground and land quietly. I look down to my saddle bag in hoof and blink.
Did I really hit him that hard? Oops. . .
I look at the ground next to me. There was his saddle bag. It itself is in bad condition and spilling out are it’s contents.
First, there was a large bundle of carrots, the item he had stolen. Second, there were a large number of items meant to heal somepony’s injuries, like rags and multiple creams. Third, three large canteens filled with what I assume is water.
I pause for a moment, still looking at his items.
Why would a pony need so many materials? This can help a small group of ponies for days!
I glance at the. . . bundle of carrots, then up at the dazed stallion. The look I see on his face; I know that expression. He looks defeated and disappointed.
. . . It almost looks like he got the death half.
I look back at the carrots with conflicted eyes and sigh.
’’I want to give you a second chance. . . Why? It's because they need you, we all do.’’
I trot to the stallion, now standing and wary, ”S-stay away from me! Don't m-move!” he stuttered, swinging his metal bat threateningly.
He's attempt at scaring didn't deter me. I simply continued trotting toward him.
It's pretty clear that a million alarms went crazy in his head, and starts acting like he's scared of other ponies.
”Stay away I s-said! Just g-go away!” he screams, backing up to the stall he crash landed on.
He has no escape, I noticed. A crowd of ponies surrounded us. They are all looking in fear, awe, and mild anger at us.
I hum quietly. Unsurprising.
He looks down in denial, ”Just! Just! J-just!” he repeats, until he finally acts out, ”Just go away!” He screams with all his courage and suddenly gallops at me with his metal bat overhead.
I on the other hoof, am just four yards away, meaning I have little time to react and act in this small circle, shaped by shocked ponies. My eyes widen, this is one of the reactions I had expected, but I didn't believe he would go down this path.
I hate it when I'm shoved into these situations, and hate is a very strong word.
My ears ring. Multiple sharp gasps erupt from the crowd of ponies surrounding us. Panicked hooves stomp my way as I stand.
My body tenses. His metal bat is swinging back and forth, meant to be delivered just for me. My legs bend.
The Stallions panicking hooves stop for just a moment. My offender jumps towards me, with his metal bat swinging at me.
The Stallion slows mid-air and the crowd quiets. The whistling in my ears stops abruptly as I quickly straighten my tense legs, causing me to jump above The Stallion. And the crowd wasn't quite any longer then.
My offender swings his bat at an empty space. Startled and unbalanced, he tumbles forward by his momentum. Yet, before he face plants onto the ground, I slam my hooves onto his back, giving him another crash landing.
”Gah!” The Stallion grunts. His grip on his metal bat loosens mid-fall and the bat lands right on his head. A loud ’knock!’ sounds out.
The bat bounces off his head and roles away from him.
I blink.
His metal bat, knocked him out.
. . . Ouch.

Who?

”. . . Snore.”
I sigh. Of course, she's sleeping. It's not even near the afternoon yet. What did she do last night?
Masterfully balancing on the tiny and fluffy cloud supporting me, I rummage through my saddlebag.
”. . . Snore.”
Oh my goodness. She is exceptionally lazy today.
Jeez, today has been pretty hectic, unfortunately. And with The Stallion, why wasn't she there? Well yes, she seems to have been sleeping then, but she should be working and have cleared the sky by now. Besides, doesn't she like being an ”awesome hero”?
”. . . Snore.”
Needless to say, she missed her chance. She is, undoubtedly, an ”awesome hero” .
”. . . Snore.”
But in reality. . .
I find what I'm looking for: Rainbow Dash’s lucky horseshoe. I grab it, take a deep breath, lift it above my head—
. . . she's just another big dreamer.
—and chuck it to her face.
”Wake up, slacker!”
”YEOW!” Screams the other occupant on this tiny and fluffy cloud.
Rainbow Dash’s eyes fly open in surprise and pain. Her hooves fumble with her lucky horseshoe when she slaps it out her face. In her surprise, she jumps. Her wings aren't flapping in sync with each other, causing her to turn and eventually flip a good number of times.
So imagine a flipping Rainbow Dash juggling a single rusty horseshoe.
”Ow! Hey! What's the big dea-!”
She practically smashed her face onto the cloud. Now, I would have helped her, but I was too busy laughing.
I snort very unladylike and say, ”My goodness! Miss Dash, what trick is that?”
She didn't seem to listen, only repeatedly whispering ”ow” and lying limp on her napping cloud, covering her face.
I can't help but feel a little guilty for what I did, but it wasn't done with malicious intent.
I pat Rainbow Dash on her head, ”Miss Dash, does it hurt much?”
Rainbow’s body flinches and she turns her head to me, ”. . . Huh?” she mumbles.
I smile at her, me merely giving her a moment to process her situation.
Rainbow blinks. She blinks again, and promptly flips over herself to salute at me, ”Ma’am! W-What are you doing here?” Rainbow stutters.
I smile, ”I was going to ask you the same question, but if you insist, I just came to check up on you if that's alright.”
Rainbow Dash, still saluting, replies hurriedly, ”O-oh, well, it's all good here, ma’am!”
I chuckle, ”Calm down, Rainbow. You're not in trouble for slacking off on your job.”
I have to reassure her as a superior, I suppose.
”Really?” Rainbow asks hopefully.
”Really.”
Rainbow breathes a sigh of relief, ”Phew! For a second there I thought I was going to get another strike.”
I rose a brow. ’Another’? Typical Rainbow Dash.
I laugh, ”Sike!”
Rainbow froze, along with her rejoicing.
”Well, you won't get a strike, and you aren't in trouble currently, but I will tell your supervisor to add the same amount of hours on your schedule that you've missed working.”
”Aw man . . .” Rainbow pouts at me, but I am immune, ”Come on! She's going to get mad at me again if you tell her!” She pleads.
I shrug, ”I really am sorry, dear, but it's part of my job. Just like you, I don't want to lose it. Besides, I'm being very generous.”
Rainbow looks away, ”That's cool, I guess. Hey, is this what you slapped me with?” She grabs her lucky horseshoe.
”Try tossing at.”
”Yeah, well, could you not do that again and wake me up a little nicer next time?” Rainbow snaps at me, ”I mean, it's just a rusty horseshoe! Why would you hit me with a rusty horseshoe?” Her voice cracked.
I try not to roll my eyes, ”It’s not just a rusty horseshoe, Rainbow.”
”What?”
”Why was your lucky horseshoe in my home, in an unused cabinet?”
”. . . What?”
”Anyway, did you hear about the robbery today?”
Rainbow blinks, ”Huh? There was a robbery here in Ponyville? This early?”
I nod.
She flaps her wings once, ”Wait! Are they on the run? Did they get away?! Just tell me where they are and I'll catch ’em!”
”No, the stallion is currently with the police. He's in that little secluded jail being questioned if I heard right.”
”You mean the one at the end of Ponyville that we never use?”
”It's the only one near Ponyville, and on a cliff. What do you think?”
”Okay, okay. What does he look like? Were you there? Was there a chase? Did he get beaten? Tell me the good bits!”
I caught my words, and glance at the clock tower, ”Oh shoot! I have to go, Rainbow!”
”What? Come on! You just got here! Tell me what happened!”
I prepare to hop off onto the earth, ”Sorry, Rainbow. I promised Fluttershy that I would meet her in the park at nine-thirty.”
”Agh! I can't sleep now. What am I going to do?”
I turn to her, ”You can actually do your job early for once. . .”
”Wait! I missed practice yesterday because of that meeting about the storm clouds for. . . next month?” Rainbow thought aloud. She opens her wings, ”I gotta go practice for the Wondebolts.”
My eyes widen, ”Rainbow, did you listen to what Miss Fly said at all?”
She shrugs, ”I got the gist of it.”
I sigh. What are we going to do with you, Rainbow Dash?

Quietly, I descend from the sky. I land on the grassy field in the park.
I look around, ”This is where we decided to meet if I remember right,” I hit myself on the head, ”Think! She said to look for the dead tree. Tree. . . Tree. . . Where are you?”
I continue to look around for any signs of the dead tree or Fluttershy.
Every few weeks, I would visit Fluttershy to buy some yarn from her, and perhaps sit and have a cup of tea as well as some good conversation. Surprisingly, she drums up a very good business since she has a large amount of experience in making yarn from sheep, goats, and rabbits. Well, from what she has told me. I really need to ask her if she'd teach me, I always forget. Besides, I'm always in the mood to learn something fun.
This little business of hers gives her extra bits, she once told me, but she enjoys making yarns. Over the last few years we became pretty good friends, I believe.
Last week, Fluttershy asked me to come to the Ponyville Park— I know; it's an unoriginal name in a village with an unoriginal name— to tell her how well her birds are doing and if they are ready for their role in the Summer Sun Celebration. Basically, she needs a second opinion.
Bird chirps catch my attention. I glance toward the singing. That should be Fluttershy out there.
Eventually, I reach a couple of bushes blocking my path, and right behind them is the dead tree— at pretty tall one— on a small hill. It's accompanied by many different birds sitting on its live looking branches. Fluttershy is leading the small orchestra and Pinkie Pie is hoping in place, right beside Fluttershy.
. . . Pinkie Pie?
Pushing past the bushes, I trot and stand behind them both, looking up and listening to the birds sing.
I frown lightly when the orchestra of birds reach the end of their song.
”Wow!” Pinkie gaps in awe, ”That was amazing!”
”Oh, you really think so. . ?” Mumbles Fluttershy.
Pinkie suddenly hugs Fluttershy, making Fluttershy squeak, ”I know so! You're doing great!”
I smile, ”Pinkie’s right, Fluttershy.”
”Eep!”
Pinkie gasps in surprise, leaps toward me-, ”Auntie!” -and clings into my neck.
I smile without strain, ”Hello, Pinkie. How are you?” I rub her back soothingly, she always enjoyed that when she was younger.
”Better now that you're here!” Pinkie compliments.
I look at Fluttershy. She's looking at us with a small smile. Delicately, I speak, ”Good morning, Fluttershy. I apologize for being late.”
Worry appeared on her face, ”O-oh No! You aren't late a-at all! If anything it's my fault for coming earlier than what we planned,” She hides behind her mane, ”If you’re a-alright with that. . .”
I chuckle, ”Don't worry about it, Fluttershy. I don't mind.”
”Oh, that’s good, I suppose. . .”
”Hey, Auntie!” Pinkie calls from underneath me.
I look down at Pinkie Pie expectantly, mentally preparing myself for what she wants to tell me, ”Yes, dear?”
Pinkie takes a deep breath, ”Ok so there are two new ponies in town, well one of themisalizardbutanywayI’mthrowingaWelcometoPonyvillepartyforthetwonewponiesinPonyvilleattheGoldenOaksLibrary!”
I blink. That's it? Wow-
”And there will be cakes and cupcakes and punch and streamers and confetti and cupcakes and even more punch!”
I grimace, ”Pinkie. . .”
”There will even be a pinata! Andhotsauce — bahAhAHAHahA!”
”Are you the pony who put hot sauce in my cabinet?” I laugh while tickling her.
Pinkie jumps from my forelegs and lands next to Fluttershy, ”I gotta invite more ponies to the Welcome to Ponyville party at the Golden Oaks Library!”
”Oh,” Fluttershy realises, ”Is that why you’re here. . ?”
”Yeppers, Flutters!”
My eyes widen, ”A Welcome to Ponyville party? Today... to whom?” How dare I ask this question.
”Oh! Some mare named Twilight and her lizard friend!”
Fluttershy perked up, ”She has a lizard?”
Pinkie Pie shrugs, ”A big deformed lizard.”
”Oh. . .”
”Anywho! Bye Fluttershy! Bye Auntie! See you two at seven~!” Pinkie sings, hoping away.
Silence loomed between me and Fluttershy. I turn and look at the clock tower. Nine twenty-three.
I glance at Fluttershy. She seems to be contemplating.
”Hey, Fluttershy?” Her ear twitches, ”Do you have some tea? There is something I would like to ask you.”
Fluttershy mumbles something.
I lean in closer to her, ”What was that, Fluttershy?”
She looks up to look at me in the eyes and whispers, ”Do. . . Do you think Twilight would let me pet her deformed lizard?”

For the rest of the morning, Fluttershy and I sat together and spoke about anything, really. Fluttershy planned to be here until six in the afternoon, which is alright with me. I've already bought what was on my list for today.
So what else is better to do than hang out with Fluttershy, right?
Eventually, she continued practicing her birds. A few usually sang off note, and Fluttershy didn't want that to ruin the Princesses grand reveal.
I practically became her coach in the process. I helped her set up a series of motions that tell her birds what verse to sing next, to which she said was very helpful. I'm very glad to help out a friend, as always.
Again, I glance at the clock. Five thirty-four.
”Wow.”
Fluttershy turns to me, ”What is it?”
”I thought today was going to be a long one,” I giggle.
We laugh. Fluttershy looks at her birds, ”I guess you've had fun today?”
”I suppose, but it’s always a nice time with you, Shy.”
She looks away and blushes, ”You're just saying that.”
I place a hoof on her wither and smile, ”I mean it. You're a really good friend,” I look up to the sky, ”How about one last play, and we head off to the party.”
Fluttershy’s eyes widen, ”Oh dear, I almost forgot about that!” She flys toward her birds, ”Okay my little friends, just one more time.”
I sit far behind Fluttershy, awaiting the last performance on my own.
”Now follow me please. A-one a-two, A-one two three—”
”Hello!” Practically yells a voice. And it came from right next to me.
”Ah!” Yelps Fluttershy, alarming all her birds to fly away.
In an instance, my breath audibly hitches from the scare. Startled, I frantically jump away from the voice, holding a wing up on reflex.
I stare at Twilight.
”Oh my! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to startle you all!” Twilight apologizes, ”I’m just here to check up on the music, and it's sounding beautiful.”
My eyes stay glued on Twilight as she shifts her gaze between Fluttershy and I.
I didn't think meeting her would be so terrifying. . .
Fluttershy flutters to the ground and doesn't speak. Neither do I.
Fluttershy drags a forehoof in circles on the ground.
After a few moments, Twilight gives us a nervous smile, still shifting her gaze between us, ”I'm Twilight Sparkle,”— I shiver, —”What are your names?”
”Um, my name is Fluttershy. . .” Fluttershy mumbles quietly. I look at her in surprise.
Twilight steps forward once, completely turning her attention to Fluttershy, ”Im sorry, what was that?”
Fluttershy mumbles incoherently. I assume she’s repeating what she previously said.
Twilight steps forward one more time, ”Didn't quite catch that.”
Fluttershy squeaks.
It's so quiet. So much so, you can hear a bunny hopping mere yards away. One by one, Fluttershy’s birds return to the tree.
I take a deep breath and slowly trot toward Twilight. She turns to me with relief on her face.
I swallow the lump in my throat, ”I'm sorry Miss Sparke, I don't usually act like this. I don't know what came over me.”
Twilight smiles, ”Oh no, it's my fault for scaring you both, and please, just call me Twilight.”
”I. . . right. Yes, of course,” I point at Fluttershy, ”This is Fluttershy. She is. . . very shy.”
Twilight nods, ”I see. Well, um, it looks like your birds are back,”— she points out, gesturing to the tree, —”so I guess everything is in order.”
Fluttershy squeaks again.
”Okay,” Twilight backs up, ”This has been nice. Have a good day.”
I keep my eyes on Twilight. She's. . . alright. Once she stops at a bush, I turn to Fluttershy.
”Are you alright, Shy?”
She nods.
I smile, ”Well, we better get going to the party, or we might be late. We don't want that, do w—”
Suddenly, Fluttershy gasps very loudly, startling me and her own birds this time.
”Flut—”
She was gone.
”A baby dragon!”
What?
”Oh, I've never seen a baby dragon before!”
I blink. She's never seen a baby dragon before? What does that have to do with anything?
”He’s so cute!” Fluttershy coos.
I whip my head around to see a green, two-foot-tall. . . baby dragon.
With a smug face, he crosses his arms and looks at Twilight over his shoulder, ”Well, well, well.”
”Oh my, he talks. I didn't know dragons could talk.”
Well, this is a strange turn of events.
Twilight teleports behind Fluttershy, looking annoyed while dusting herself off.
”That’s just so incredibly wonderful,”— Continues Fluttershy, —”I-I just don't even know what to say!” She rejoices, hovering in the air.
”Well in that case we better be going!” Says Twilight, magically placing the baby dragon on her back.
”Wait! Wait! What's his name?”
The baby dragon raises his left claw, ”I'm Spike.”
I pause. That name triggers something in me. A fond memory.
”Hi, Spike. I'm Fluttershy.”
I follow Twilight.
”Wow, a talking dragon,”— Fluttershy mumbles, —”and what do dragons talk about?”
”Well, what do you want to know?” Spike asks.
Fluttershy— very excited— replied, ”Absolutely everything!”
Twilight groans in annoyance.
”Well. . .” Spike began.
Trotting next to Twilight, I'm easily half a head taller.
”Miss— I mean, Twilight?”
”Yeah?” She didn't bother looking at me.
”I want to apologize for my friend’s behavior,” Twilights eye twitches at ’friend’, ”She and I love learning new things, she especially loves learning about creatures she doesn't know much about. You understand, yes?”
Twilight looks up at me with wide eyes, seemingly just now realizing how tall I am. After a moment she shakes her head, ”I. . . can relate.”
I smile, ”Wonderful. Then you can understand Fluttershy’s excitement.”
Twilight looks away, ”Fitting name.”
My eyes narrow, ”What was that?”
”Nothing, nothing!” She laughs nervously, ”So, I take it you live here?
I chuckle at her attempt to change the topic, but let it go, ”I do. What gave that away?”
”Well, you're wearing a jacket in the middle of summer. I never thought a pony would do such a thing until I came to this place,” Twilight rolls her eyes. Then they widen, ”N-no offense.”
I laugh. I can't help but feel she has a good point on her part, ”None taken, I assure you.”
She smiles, ”You seem to be more. . . normal than everypony else in this secluded town.”
I look at her, ”Normal? You mean sane?”
She blinks, ”Yes.”
I chuckle, ”You're slightly wrong with that.”
”Why?”
”I am still sane, somehow. Yet, I do not like being,” I pause just to grimace, ”normal.” I practically spit.
Twilight looks at me with concern, ”Are you okay?”
I look down on her, ”Twilight,” I firmly start, ”this town has infected me with its silliness over the years. There is always something interesting going on around here. The News, weird magic, strange zebras, devastating destruction, interdimensional gates to other worlds, the occasional monsters from the Everfree Forest getting beaten by Applejack for eating the apple families apples, juicy gossip,” I smile fondly, ”All that good stuff.”
Twilight blinks in absolute confusion and concern, ”W-what did you say?”
I ignore her, ”But other than that, we’re a peaceful town full of interesting ponies.”
”Wait wait- Did you say i-interdimensional ga-”
”I'm glad you didn't come so early, Twilight. We had a small robbery this morning, which rarely happens might I add. I would be rather upset if you saw that ridiculous ruckus.”
”Wait-”
”I heard that you're going to be staying in the Golden Oaks Library, correct?”
”Hold on, what was that about interdi—”
”Poor Dusty Page, nopony saw it coming. . .” I say, saddened.
”I. . . Yes, I'm staying in the library. . . er, what’s your name again?”
”Oh! Where are my manners?” I turn to Twilight and offer a hoof, ”My name is Pure.”
”Pure Joy.”

If you haven't realized it yet. I'm a mediocre writer. No sugarcoating.
Anyway, a came up with a schedule, sorta. I will post almost every day at any time after twelve pm. Sometimes there will be a two to three day gaps before I upload again, but that is something I'm willing to put up with.
I may take some breaks here and there. A week perhaps, and you will know before hand, of course.
Tomorrow, or maybe the day after tomorrow, I'm leaving town. So there is a chance that I will take a ’break’, but I will try not to let that happen, since I'm trying to lift this story to this sites shoulders. I might as well keep pumping out these chapters.

”. . . and that's how the Zap Apples are made.” I finish flawlessly. Time was in our benefit, luckily. So I've been telling Twilight of the popular stories made within Ponyville.
”Wow,” Twilight whispers in awe, scribbling ferociously on a scroll within her magic aura, ”There have been multiple studies on the storm clouds that summons the Zap Apples, but it's always said that after they calm down, they disappear. Pegasi have never been able to get close to them due to the extreme thunder and lighting. No attempt has been made because of the promise of death.”
I hope her things don't catch fire. Twilight is creating quite a lot of friction. I can't even see the quill clearly anymore, it's just a red blur.
We have been walking for a while now. I have been telling Twilight stories from Ponyville as fond memories of the time spent in this village toll on my mind.
”Yes. Well, this five day event occurs annually, so if you stay or come back to Ponyville I'm sure you'll see it.”
”Really?”
I nod.
”This is amazing! I get to experience a phenomenon up close!”
”Hopefully you won't hurt yourself, Twilight. Hey, if you'd like to, I could give you a tour around Ponyville.”
Twilight pauses, ”I appreciate the offer, Miss Joy, but. . .” she trails off.
”But?” I persist.
She looks away, ”I don't want to stay here longer than I have to. Besides, I'm going to be busy.” she adds.
I raise a brow, ”Busy? Busy with what, exactly?”
Twilight sighs, ”You won't believe me.”
”After living here?” I laugh, ”Not a chance.”
A serious expression appears on Twilight’s face, ”Alright, well it's about an old mares tale. Have you heard about the Mare in the Moon?”
”Oh, that one?” Twilight looks at me, bewildered, ”It’s one of my few favorites, actually.”
”You've actually read it? Not just heard about it?”
”Yes, why?” I inquire.
”Wha— but how? There are only a dozen copies of it around Equestria! And most are in Canterlot!”
I look at her, ”Who said I didn't go to Canterlot?”
Twilight waves a hoof, somehow not face planting, ”You don't just find it! There are either in the Canterlot Records or in a certain tower that I live in!”
I shrug, ”I found it in the library just fine.”
She looks at me funny, ”You were looking for it specifically?”
I look back at her, ”Not really. I was looking for old mare tales in general. Are you saying that you don't believe I read it?”
”Yes! There is no way you could have read it!”
I pause. This young mare— lives in Canterlot within a tower? ”Wait. You're sixteen and you live in a tower?”
”Don't change the subject!” She growls.
I laugh.

You know, if I didn't question the empty streets, Twilight would have, but she was busy scribbling on her scroll.
If I didn't question the sun’s shaky setting, Twilight would have, but she was busy mumbling something.
If Twilight didn't question how bad her parenting skills are influencing on poor Spike, I would have, but I was busy laughing at the baby dragon's expense.
The air is filled with light chatter. Peaceful. Quiet enough. Pleasant. I look up to the sky. This. . . feeling that I have. It is anything but pleasant. Least you love evil. Evil. When did I last see that? It's a hybrid of uncomfortable emotions clinging to a corrupted souls heart similar to a plague. A worldwide, but a hidden, plague. And it's always said that good can beat evil.
Purity can beat evil?
What is purity? A hybrid of comfortable emotions that warmly wrap the heart of a cleansed mind in ignorant bliss. A beautiful description of the feeling in a nutshell.
Do the beautiful beat the ugly?
I believe that it depends. The beautiful can become evil. The beautiful are— at times— already evil. It's so confusing.
We who live in this world shape it. In return, it will inevitably shape us. It can be dangerous to live a life alone. If you do, who is going to help you find your way back home when you've lost yourself in the world? Let's be truthful, we are all a plethora of experiences squished in one being. It is what makes us. And each of those experiences hold meaning, no matter how small or insignificant.
It doesn't matter if you don't care. We are meant to care. We are meant care, to feel, to know.
Yet, why do I feel this alarming weight? This feeling of impending doom? I feel like I should know, but I don't. Why?
If only time will tell then I guess I'll just have to wait and find out.
But for now, I'll listen to the baby dragon.
”. . . and that's the story of my whole life! Well, up until today. Do you wanna hear about today?” Spike asks, leaning forward. Though his voice is hopeful. He definitely likes talking.
Fluttershy nods with a smile, ”Oh, yes please.”
I look at Spike in the eye, ”Sure, Spike. How did you and Twilight come to Ponyville today?”
I have to admit, this little guy has either a lot of guts, or he's slightly dull. Not to be mean, but he's told us a lot about himself and Twilight. It's his life story for goodness sake! He's telling it to two ponies he's known for not even a whole hour of his life! I think it's safe to say he's a very open dragon.
At least now I know why Twilight lives within a tower in Canterlot.
Speaking of Twilight— She makes a quick three-sixty degree turn and addresses us, ”I am so sorry! How did we get here so fast?”
Looking up, I see the infamous Golden Oaks Library— with the lights off.
I hum, ”You're right. How did we get here so quickly? Time really flies by when you're around, Spike.”
”Aw, shucks— woah!”
Twilight points a hoof to the Library, ”This is where I'm staying while in Ponyville, and my poor baby dragon needs his sleep.” She says, acting concerned.
”No I don't— ow!” Spike tries protesting but is forcefully thrown to the ground.
My eyes widen, and if I didn't stop myself, I would have almost angrily glared at Twilight.
On the ground, Spike looks up at Twilight angrily.
”Aww, look at that,” Coos Twilight, ”He's so sleepy he can't keep his little balance,” She says in a baby voice, then dares to look at me with a forced smile. I silently take a deep breath.
”Poor thing,” Pitys Fluttershy, grabbing Spike in her forelegs and entering the library, ”You simply must put him to bed.”
Twilight drags Fluttershy out the library and backs into the tree, ”Yes, yes. We’ll get right on that. Well, goodnight!” She then slams the door on Fluttershy’s face.
Fluttershy blinks and looks at me, ”Was it something I said?”
I shake my head in disappointment, ”No, Shy. It's not your fault.”
I trot up to the red wooden door and wait. Pinkie is hosting a party in the only library in Ponyville, which so happens to be this one. I grin. Said party is meant just for Twilight and Spike.
”Pure?” Fluttershy softly calls.
Quietly and gently, I shush her with a small smile on my face, ”Remember, Shy? Pinkie is throwing a party here just for those two.”
Surprised, Fluttershy looks at the library's red door. And just as we expected, a loud ”Surprise!” rings through the other side of the library's door.
Laughing, I open the door. The sound of music ring in my ears, ”Lets have some fun, Shy.”

I snicker while secretly taking photos of Twilight the rest of her, obvious, future friends. Right now she's drinking a cup of hot sauce!
Eventually, after Twilight ran up the stairs, I placed my camera into my saddlebag and entered the crowd. I want to see who I can talk to.
Ponyville was always a colorful, friendly place. Ponies from all over Equestria come and make a life here. Ponies with suits and ties, cowboy hats, dresses, fedoras, horseshoes, bows— it never stops! Here in this village, it's for everypony, no matter your style. This place is a haven! If only ponies realize that.
Oh! Lookie here, the Flower Sisters! Three long-time friends. They are like the sisters I've never wanted.
Sitting around a small round table, sat Daisy, Rose, and Lily Valley. No doubt talking about something that's going to be very juicy gossip in less than a week.
Smiling, I trot up to them, ”Hey girls! What’s up?”
All three of them perk up in surprise. Daisy— a bright pink-colored Earth Pony with a beautiful lime mane and tail and two daisy heads for a Cutie Mark— waves a hoof at me, ”Hey, Joy! Perfect timing! Come, come,” She commands, ”Sit here. We have a lot to talk about.”
I sigh, ”What now, girls?” I sit on an extra stool Daisy placed next to hers. I lay my saddlebag underneath my stool.
”Is it true?!” Yells Rose with excitement and. . . awe? Rose— a peach-colored Earth Pony with a well-brushed scarlet mane and tail and a rose for a Cutie Mark— jumps in her seat, ”What you did today?”
Lily, the last of the Flower Sisters, enthusiastically nods her head, ”Yeah! Why would there be something like that? It has to be true!”
Tilting on my stool, my wings itch. Ruffling them, I massage my temples, ”Something I did today?” I mumble.
Lily— a rather dull pink-colored Earth Pony with a pale yellow mane and tail and three lily heads for a Cutie Mark— throws a hoof, ”Yeah girl! Tell us how to knocked out that robber!
I place a forehoof on the table, leaning my weight on it, ”I’m sorry? Girls, you know I would never hurt a thing, right?”
”Oh, come on! We know you don't like telling others you hurt anypony, Pure.” Rose whines, lifting her forehooves in the air, ”Were you there at least?”
Looking away, I sigh, ”Yes,” Quickly, I point at them with a feather, ”But! I didn't mean to knock him out.” I add.
”What? You mean you didn't slap him in the face?” Daisy smirks, a knowing look on her face, ”Don't lie.”
Well, shoot. She's got me stumped there.
I cross my forehooves against my jacket and grumble incoherently, looking at anything but them, ”Fine, I may have knocked him over the head, but he knocked himself out.”
”How?” All three sisters ask.
I groan in agony.
